Utah Man Confesses to Choking & Stabbing Woman to Death Just Hours After Matching on Tinder

A 25-year-old woman is dead after being choked and stabbed to death by her Tinder date in what police believe to be an “unprovoked” attack.

Utah police responded to the home of Ethan Hunsaker, 24, early Sunday morning (May 24) to find Ashlyn Black lying on the floor, suffering from “multiple stab wounds to the torso.”

Despite efforts to revive Black, she was pronounced dead on the scene.

Hunsaker was arrested and charged with murder. He admitted to choking Black while she was sleeping before stabbing her multiple times with a four-inch pocket knife.

According to the police report, Black and Hunsaker matched on the dating app Tinder on Saturday night around 9 p.m., less than seven hours before her death.

He picked her up from her home and the two went to a local bar for drinks. The two consumed alcohol and returned to Hunsaker’s home.

They had “intimate relations” on the floor in a bedroom, cuddled afterward, and fell asleep.

Hunsaker says he woke up and choked Black “as hard he could for one minute” while she was sleeping. Black tried to fight him off, leaving scratches on the man’s arms, neck, and shoulders.

Hunsaker then got a pocket knife, kneeled over Black, and stabbed her between four to five times in the chest, sides, and back.

He stood and watched Black bleed out for nearly 10 minutes before calling 911. He told the dispatcher he wanted the police to kill him when they arrived.

Hunsaker told officers that he had been diagnosed with mental health illnesses and often has homicidal and suicidal thoughts. He said he takes prescription medication for those illnesses.

Hunsaker is currently being held at Davis County Jail.

Yovanna Momplaisir Reportedly Joins Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 13 As Official Cast Member After Admitting Role in Snakegate

Yovanna Momplaisir is reportedly joining the cast of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” as an official peach holder next season after admitting her involvement in the “Snakegate” scandal.

Citing close production sources, TMZ reports that Yovanna (aka “That Bitch”) has been invited to sign on to RHOA as a full-time cast member for the upcoming thirteenth season.

As for Yovanna’s role next season … our sources say her main storyline for the upcoming season will piggyback off the scandal that erupted during season 12.

As diehard ‘RHOA’ fans know … the so-called SnakeGate drama roped in the entire cast after the ladies found out Yovanna came on the show as a friend/spy for NeNe, who wanted Yovanna to gather intel to see which of the ladies were trash-talking NeNe behind her back.

The ladies ultimately were led to believe NeNe asked Yovanna to record the conversations. During a trip to Canada, they peppered Yovanna with questions, but she danced around everything.

As it turns out, Yovanna never recorded anything and admits NeNe asked her to record the conversations. The cast’s reaction … “so you’re a snitch?”

The saying is “snitches get stitches,” but in this case … snitches apparently get peaches. And before Marlo Hampton too? While chile, the shade.

Also: If true, this means that it’s possible that one of the current cast members could be replaced (likely either Cynthia or Eva), as RHOA typically only has six peaches up for grabs, though they have went up to seven in previous seasons.

That being said, Yovanna getting a whole peach seems a bit … random.  I mean, she’s alright and all, but she doesn’t seem that interesting outside of the “Fakegate” scandal.

Do you think Yovanna deserves a peach for that?

Kevin Hart Says Wife “Held Me Accountable” Following Public Cheating Scandal, Working Through Infidelity “Wasn’t a Walk in the Park”

Two and half years after Kevin Hart publicly apologized for cheating on his pregnant wife, Hart is sharing how he and wife Eniko Parrish were able to move past his cheating scandal.

Hart recently appeared on The School of Greatness podcast and said that the reason he and his wife are still together is because Parrish—who’s currently pregnant with their second child—was the one fighting for the new family they were building.

“She came to an amazing conclusion of, ‘I like the fact that we have a family, that we have a household, and I like the fact that we now got a job to do to get better…That’s what you owe me. You owe me the get-better.'”

“But it was her understanding that we don’t let the outside world affect our inside, and I credit her for setting that tone,” he added, which, unfortunately, he failed to realize on his own before stepping out on his wife within a year of their marriage.

The comedian said that Parrish “held me accountable” and that the process of working through his infidelity “wasn’t a walk in the park.”

Hart was caught in a public scandal in 2017 when he hooked up with singer/actress Montia Sabbag at a Las Vegas hotel. He was then extorted over their leaked sex tape, which prompted him to publicly admit to and apologize for cheating.

Sabbag also sued Hart for $60 million, claiming that she didn’t know she was being recorded. The case was dismissed for the second time earlier this month, but Sabbag can refile is she wants.

Hart has denied that he had any part in setting up the recording, saying that he was a victim just like Sabbag.

One of Hart’s associates is accused of secretly setting up the camera in the hotel room and was reportedly using the sex tape to extort Hart for money and publicity.

Mississippi Man Drowns on Facebook Live After His Friends Dare Him to Jump Into Pond for Down Payment on New Car

A Mississippi man is dead after he drowned in a pond in Tunica County Saturday afternoon (May 23), and video footage capturing the horrifying incident has gone viral on social media.

The footage, originally filmed on Facebook Live, shows the man’s friends coercing him into jumping into a pond and swimming from one end to the next on a dare.

Once he completed the task, his friends promised to give him cash for a down payment on a car.

“I don’t believe his soft a** gone do it,” one of the man’s friends could be heard saying as the others taunt him in the background for several minutes and negotiate how much money is on the line if he completes the swim.

“I wanna see hit fat a** jump in this bitch,” the guy behind the camera added.

“I ain’t swam in so long bruh … If I drown, who’s going to come and get me?” the man in the video says before he jumps in the water.

The video clip shows the man swimming about halfway across the pond while those watching him on the shore accuse him of walking, but warn that the pond has a huge drop-off in the middle.

Near the end of the footage, the man can be heard screaming for help as those on the shore shout “Get him! Get J.W. bro!”

Then you can hear someone in the background on the phone with 911 saying “We’ve got an emergency.”

After a brief search, the man’s body was eventually recovered from the pond by first responders. He was pronounced dead on the scene by the coroner.

The Tunica County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as 20-year-old J.W. Ransom of Lambert, Mississippi.

A family said Ransom was visiting friends at the time of the incident.

“That’s a hurting feeling. Seeing him go down in the water, yelling for help but nobody could help him,” family friend Grenisha Rogers told WREG Memphis.

Rogers said people tried to jump in the pond to save Ransom, but the water was too deep.

“When the firefighter came over, they told us it’s a drop-off and it’s 30 feet deep,” she said.

Ransom was also the father of a 7-month-old baby, Rogers added. “…He has a child. He has a seven-month-old. So, that’s just a hurting feeling that nobody wants…”

According to social media posts, Ransom was due to graduate high school in June and had plans to attend Northwest Mississippi Community College in the fall.

Betty White, 98, is “Doing Very Well” in Quarantine Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

YOUNG & HUNGRY - "Young & Vegas Baby" - Gabi and Ms. Wilson share a birthday that has them feeling sad, so they head out on a girls trip with Sofia, in a new episode of Young & Hungry, MONDAY, MAY 8 (8:008:31 p.m. EDT), on Freeform. (Eric McCandless/Freeform via Getty Images) BETTY WHITE

Betty White is staying positive and keeping herself busy in quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to a rep for White, who celebrated her 98th birthday back in January, the beloved actress is “doing very well” while keeping safe and healthy during the global health crisis.

The Golden Girls star is staying home to protect herself from the virus that has infected millions worldwide, and has become a pro when it comes to adhering to social distancing standards.

“No one permitted in except those who must. Has helpers who are great with her,” White’s rep told Today in an e-mail.

And even though White has to stay in the house 24-7, she has fortunately been able to keep her good sense of humor. White’s publicist said she checks in with her several times a week and they “always have laughs.”

White has also been spending her days enjoying nature and admiring the wildlife in her own backyard.

“Betty has a beautiful backyard with a number of wild animals visiting,” her rep said. “Two ducks always come by to say hello. They waddle up to her glass door and look in.”

A friend of White’s also said that she’s keeping busy by reading the Los Angeles Times “cover to cover.”

“She owns literally thousands of crossword puzzle books and is constantly doing them to keep her mind jumping. This is really serious with her,” entertainer Tom Sullivan told the British magazine Closer Weekly.

Fans of Betty White (i.e. EVERYBODY because who’s not a fan of Betty White?!) first became concerned with the iconic actress’ well-being after a number of celebrities revealed that they’d tested positive for coronavirus back in March.

However, at the time, White’s publicist assured everyone she was “fine” amid the outbreak.

Princess Love Requests Full Custody of Her 2 Kids With Ray J, He Says They’re “Spending More Time Together” Amid Divorce Proceedings

Princess Love is certainly not letting quarantine stop her legal moves.

Shortly after filing for divorce from Ray J, Love has now submitted documents requesting full custody of the couple’s daughter Melody, 2, and son Epik, 4 months.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Love wants full physical and legal custody of the children with Ray having visitation rights.

She also wants the court to require Ray to pay child support while also ordering that she does not have to financially support Ray in any way.

The documents also state that the estranged couple will determine the split of their marital assets at a later date.

As to the legal custody portion, it typically pertains to the medical and education decisions of children.

The Blast speculates that Love doesn’t want Ray to have any say in major decisions regarding their kids, which could point to marriage rift between the two co-parents.

However, in a recent interview with Us Weekly, Ray says that he and Love have been “spending more time together” since their divorce announcement.

“We’ve been able to spend a little more time together because of the kids,” he said.

“While we’re figuring everything out, we’ve just got to be the best parents in the world and just make sure we’re there for the kids.

“She’s been a great mom and I can’t even match that because of the hard work she puts in every day, but I’m definitely there a whole lot more now and taking it one day at a time.”

Love filed for divorce earlier this month. The couple’s marriage has been on extremely thin ice since last year when Love accused Ray of leaving the family “stranded” in a Las Vegas hotel.

Ray has publicly and privately apologized for the situations and seems to be hoping for reconciliation.

“Patience, time, love, it heals all,” he told Us.

Ray has not filed a legal response to Love’s divorce filing. The Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood stars tied the knot in 2017.

Dave East Taken Into Police Custody After Being “Combative” During Traffic Stop, Cited for Marijuana Possession & Disturbing the Peace

Rapper Dave East was taken into custody by NYPD cops following an incident that occurred during a routine traffic stop.

East and two passengers were stopped by cops in the Astoria section of Queens around 1 a.m. because the driver of the vehicle failed to use a signal when making a turn.

Officers then smelled a strong odor of marijuana and asked the driver to step out of the car, who complied.

But according to reports, East and a third passenger “became aggressive and non-compliant” and “combative” when police asked them so show identification.

Video footage posted on the rapper’s Instagram shows East being taken out of the vehicle and being escorted by police. A witness to the scene can be heard yelling: “This is harassment!”

https://www.instagram.com/p/CAe1ji0hNA9/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=embed_video_watch_again

Over half a dozen bags of marijuana were found inside the car.

East and the other allegedly combative passenger were taken to the 114th police station and issued a summons for disorderly conduct and criminal possession of marijuana. Both were later released from police custody.

The driver was not issued any summons or tickets because he cooperated with police.

When we last reported on East, he had received a misdemeanor battery citation after a Las Vegas threesome tuned chaotic when one of the women felt the rapper was not paying her enough attention.

The battery charges were later dropped when East’s attorney submitted evidence that showed he did not instigate the altercation, but “attempted to responsibly quell the situation.”

Louisiana Residents Defend Fired Cop Who Thinks It’s “Unfortunate” COVID-19 Hasn’t Killed More Black People

Some local Louisiana residents are coming to the defense of a police officer who was fired for making racist comments on a Facebook post.

Officer Steven Aucoin of the Kaplan Police Department went onto a Facebook Live post last Friday (May 15) of the governor’s news conference.

One person commented on the thread about the “virus that was created to kill all the BLACKS is death,” referring to the coronavirus pandemic that has swept the world.

Aucoin responded on the social media platform, saying, “Well it didn’t work,” before following it up with, “How unfortunate.”

Facebook users took screenshots of other comments the officer made on the platform.

One read: “LOL you people have no clue you think your pathetic existence is meaningful. How many times have you been to combat for the rights you think you deserve for leaching off this country.” That comment was liked by three individuals.

In another, he wrote: “I can’t wait until the next part of the plan is implemented and they see what’s in store for their kind.”

https://www.facebook.com/misterinvisible/posts/829345594220443

The Chief of Police, Joshua Hardy, was notified about the posts, and after a brief investigation, decided that firing Aucoin was the best course of action.

“We’re held to a higher standard than normal civilians, so you got to watch what you do, you got to watch what you say,” Kaplan said in a statement. “You can’t just go and post anything you want on social media.”

However, not everyone was happy with the firing. Joshua Brothers, a firefighter and army veteran, came to the officer’s defense, saying that the whole thing was a simple misunderstanding.

“The newest update that Facebook does. It doesn’t put the comments in consecutive order like it used to. It’s not a timeline thing. Relevant newer comments might be above. Some comments aren’t listed at all,” he told reporters. “I don’t believe that was his intent.”

Another Kaplan resident, Victoria Verdun, also spoke out against Aucoin’s firing, saying that he was a good officer and that the termination was a mistake.

“He’s the only one that follows the rulebook. He doesn’t yell or curse at you like other officers do, and I just don’t think it’s right,” she said. “He’s far from a racist. He’s far from rude or whatever else people are calling him. He is just a man trying to provide for his family.”

Georgia Man Who Recorded Ahmaud Arbery’s Shooting Death Arrested & Charged With Felony Murder

The man who filmed the deadly shooting of Ahmaud Arbery has been arrested by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the agency announced in a news release.

50-year-old William “Roddie” Bryan Jr. was taken into custody Thursday (May 21) and booked into the Glynn County Jail on charges of felony murder and criminal attempt to commit false imprisonment.

The charges stem from the February 23rd, 2020 shooting that resulted in the death of Arbery—a black man who was chased down and killed by Travis McMichael and his father, Gregory McMichael, a retired cop.

The McMichaels were arrested earlier this month outside their home in Brunswick, Georgia.

Bryan’s attorney says a lie detector test proves his client didn’t participate in the alleged crime.

The case is currently under investigation by District Attorney Joyette Holmes of the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office.

Video Shows Grandma Shielding Black Grandson From Cops Aiming Guns At Him After He Allegedly Ran a Stop Sign

A video that surfaced online over the weekend showing multiple police officers, with their firearms drawn, arresting a 21-year-old African American man has drawn backlash from many.

Tye Anders, of Midland, TX, is seen lying on the ground as multiple police vehicles surround him in the dramatic video from Saturday (May 16).

https://www.facebook.com/NextGenAction/videos/2582672105311840/

“Stay calm,” one of the officers is heard saying in the video.

“Put the guns down. I’m scared. I’m scared,” Anders responded.

According to reports, Anders was stopped because he failed to adhere to a stop sign and allegedly continued to drive until he reached a residence.

In a statement released since the video surfaced, the Midland Police Department said: “Upon exiting the vehicle, officers advised the subject to walk towards them to be detained, the subject then stopped and laid on the ground.”

“He’s got guns on him,” a person behind the camera shouted. “He’s scared. Do you all not see how many black people are getting shot? Do you all not see that?”

Eventually, the officers moved towards Anders to arrest him. It was at this point that Anders’ grandmother approached him.

Officers told her to back up, and then she appears to fall on top of her grandson, with someone off-camera yelling, “you pushed her.”

Anders was ultimately arrested and charged with evading arrest, a third-degree felony, and has since been released on bond, according to the arrest affidavit.

Following his release, Anders has hired civil rights attorney Justin Moore to challenge the case.

“We believe and maintain that this was a stop based on racial profiling and there was no traffic violation,” Moore said.

He also claimed in a statement that Anders was assaulted by an officer multiple times in the face while handcuffed in the back seat of the squad car.

In response, Midland District Attorney Laura Nodolf told reporters that they were investigating the incident by looking at the evidence, “including dashcam and bodycam videos,” and that “once that is complete, we will evaluate if this case will be presented to a grand jury and the felony charge will be prosecuted.”

African Pastor Who Claimed He Cured COVID-19 Patients by Laying Hands & Praying for Them Dies of the Virus at 39, Followers Awaiting His Resurrection

A pastor in Africa who claimed he cured hundreds of people suffering from COVID-19 by laying hands and through prayer has died from the virus. He was 39 years old.

Religious leader Frankline Ndifor of Cameroon died Saturday morning (May 16) from coronavirus complications, less than a week after he was diagnosed with the virus.

Before his passing, doctor Gaelle Nnanga was called to Ndifor’s home by a few of his followers and the pastor was in severe agony. The doctor’s medical team treated him and Ndifor died within 10 minutes of their arrival.

However, several of his followers—who believed Ndifor to be a prophet—reused to believe he was really dead, stating that he was on a “spiritual retreat with God” and that he will return.

Hundreds of Ndifor’s followers gathered outside of his residence awaiting his resurrection. Their singing and prayers were broadcast on local radio stations.

Believers blocked medical staff from entering Ndifor’s residence to retrieve his body and Cameroon’s governor had to deploy police to the scene.

Police had to use tear gas to clear the crowd and used force to enter the home in order to get Ndifor’s body. He was buried in front of his home, which is the local protocol for COVID-19 deaths.

The proclaimed prophet’s death has shaken the faith of some of his followers, especially those he claimed to have cured of COVID-19.

Rigobert Che, who prayed with Ndifor last week, said in a statement:

“This is a pastor that has been laying hands [on the sick] and claiming that he cures COVID-19. If you, the person that claims that you are curing COVID-19, you are dead, what about the fellow people that were affected by the COVID-19? Now that he is dead, I do not know how the people that he was laying hands on will be healed.”

Medical officials are asking all who were in contact with Ndifor to go to a hospital to be tested and treated.

Mugshot Madness: Maia Campbell Arrested in Atlanta As Part of Street Racing Crackdown

Actress Maia Campbell is back in the headlines, this time after being busted as part of a crackdown on street racing in Atlanta.

The troubled former actress, who is best known for starring alongside LL Cool J and Alfonso Ribeiro as Tiffany Warren in the hit 90’s sitcom In the House and has battled drug addiction over the years, was among 44 people arrested Saturday (May 16) during the crackdown, Atlanta’s 11 Alive reports.

According to the AJC, the 43-year-old was arrested on Moreland avenue and charged with being a pedestrian in the roadway. The image of her mugshot has shocked fans.

In a release, Atlanta Police said during the weekend-long operation they issued 114 citations, impounded 29 cars, and recovered four guns, including a semi-automatic rifle.

The arrests and citations were issued at various locations throughout ATL that have been considered hot spots for illegal street racing, including interstates and Spring Street in Midtown.

Last weekend’s crackdown was the latest targeting street racers in metro Atlanta, where races have become huge spectator events and created a buzz on social media, the AJC reported.

Police said street racing has become a bigger problem in recent weeks because lots of streets are virtually empty due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“This isn’t new,” Carlos Campos, spokesman for Atlanta police, said Monday afternoon (May 20). “But what the pandemic did was create a perfect storm where you have young people who are bored; their usual outlets—shopping, hanging out in a park—those were all eliminated by the stay-at-home orders.”

In addition to starring in In the House, Campbell also appeared on other popular 90’s TV shows like Moesha, Sister, Sister and Beverly Hills 90210. She also appeared in a few movies, including 1993’s Poetic Justice.

Following the death of her mother, author Bebe Moore Campbell in 2006, Maia later became known for her battles with drug addiction.

She opened up about her struggles in a 2012 episode of Iyanla: Fix My Life, in which she also talked about her mental illness and how she suffered from bipolar disorder while being interviewed at a treatment center.

After a video went viral back in 2017 showing her strung out and begging for crack at a gas station, LL Cool J tried to reach out to help, but she told him: “Don’t call me. I’ll call you.”

LL later took his frustrations to Twitter, writing: “You can’t help someone who doesn’t want your help.”

12-Year-Old Chicago Boy Held His Dying Twin Brother on the Way to the Hospital After They Were Shot At

A Chicago family is devastated after a 12-year-old boy was shot and killed in front of his twin brother in Northwest Indiana over the weekend.

Demetrius Townsel Jr. was shot in Gary Saturday night (May 16) while riding in the backseat of a car next to his twin brother Darius, according to reports.

Police said there were a total of five people in the vehicle when the shots were fired. The boys were reportedly visiting family in the area and were with their cousins in the car. The driver of the vehicle was a 21-year-old woman.

Immediately after the shooting, the woman drove straight to the hospital and was eventually joined by a police escort.

Demetrius’ twin brother Darius held him throughout the 2-mile journey to the hospital and tried to save his life by putting pressure on the bullet wound, community activist Andrew Holmes said.

But the sixth-grader, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 9:36 p.m., according to the Lake County coroner’s office.

No one else was injured in the shooting and police said they don’t have anyone in custody.

“We believe at this time that no one in the car was a target and it was a random shooting into the vehicle,” Gary Police Department Commander Jack Hamady said.

Detectives are asking for the public’s help to help identify the gunman, who Hamady said was on foot and described as a black male with a thin build, dreadlocks and all-black clothing.

Meanwhile, Demetrius’ family is demanding justice and is pleading with the shooter to turn himself in.

“Why would y’all take my baby’s life?” the boy’s father, Demetrius Townsel Sr., said.

“I can’t hold my baby anymore. Please turn yourself in,” his mother, Katherine Brown, said. “I go home empty. I miss his laugh. I miss him.”

“I miss my brother,” Darius said at a memorial on Monday (May 18). “He was the funniest dude I’ve ever known. Picked everybody up, made them laugh.”

The twin brothers are students at R.J. Daley Elementary Academy in Chicago’s Back of the Yards neighborhood.

“It’s unfortunate that something like this would happen to a 12-year-old child,” Lenearl Lightfoot, Demetrius’ stepfather said.

“I was a victim of gun violence myself. The first time I got shot I was 12 years old. Makes me more determined to find out who did this to him.”

There’s a $2,000 reward for anyone who’s able to provide any information leading to an arrest. Tipsters are asked to call 1-800-U-TELL-US (1-800-883-5587).

A GoFundMe has been created to help Demetrius’ family with funeral expenses. “My 12-year-old son was unexpectedly killed… and I need to raise money to bury him in peace,” his father wrote on the page.

Denver Man Charged With Attempted Murder After Shooting Waffle House Cook for Telling Him to Wear a Mask

A Colorado man is facing an attempted murder charge after he allegedly shot a Waffle House employee in Aurora after they asked him to wear a face mask while inside the restaurant.

27-year-old Kelvin Watson was arrested Monday morning (May 18) by the Aurora Police Department and charged with attempted first-degree murder in connection with the May 14th shooting, the Sentinel Colorado reported.

Witnesses told police that Watson and another man came to the restaurant shortly after midnight last Thursday and neither of them were wearing masks.

Waffle House line cook Brian Gruhler, 25, denied the men service, telling them they had to wear masks before he could take their food order, so the men left and returned to the restaurant with masks … but they were holding them and not wearing them as required per restaurant policy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gruhler told police after he told the man, once again, that he would not be served unless he was wearing a mask,  an argument ensued and Watson proceeded to threaten him from across the counter, screaming: “You better shut the f**k up before I pull a gun and blow your brains out … I’ll come back there and shut you the f**k up! Make my food!”

A waitress said she saw Watson pull out a gun, place it on the counter and tell the cook “I could blow your brains out right now,” though police said they weren’t able to corroborate that claim when watching surveillance video.

Investigators say Watson returned to the restaurant alone the next night—this time wearing a mask—but because of his shenanigans from the day before, Gruhler still refused to serve him. Watson then berated the cook once again before hitting him in the face.

Gruhler then retreated to the back of the restaurant and exited through a backdoor. The cook told police Watson accosted him again in the parking lot and shouted at him: “You better shut the f**k up and serve me.”

Gruhler said the man then shot him once in the chest. The cook then ran to his nearby home and called 911, leaving a trail of blood through an adjacent Dollar Store parking lot, police later confirmed.

The cook was taken to the hospital and fortunately survived the shooting. He was released Friday afternoon (May 15), a Waffle House spokesman said.

Police were able to link Watson to the shooting after obtaining a receipt with his name on it for a transaction at the restaurant the same time he was there.

During the investigation, police also found a single, .380-caliber shell casing in the area where Gruhler was shot.

Investigators also obtained vehicle records of a BMW that was in the parking lot at the time of the shooting. The same vehicle was determined to be linked with another shooting at a Denver tow yard on April 23rd.

A number of Waffle House workers were also able to identify Watson from photo lineups, including one waitress who picked up a gold earring that fell out of his pocket the first time he acted the fool at the restaurant. She said the earring matched the one he was wearing in an old mugshot.

Several employees also told investigators that Watson is a regular customer at the restaurant, which police later confirmed through vehicle tracking records.

Watson is being held on a $100,000 bond at the Arapahoe County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday (May 22).

“This case involves a senseless act of violence that should not be tolerated in any community. We are very thankful that neither of our associates who were working when the incident occurred, suffered any life-threatening injuries,” Waffle House spokesperson Njeri Boss said in a statement.

“Our thoughts and well wishes remain with our associate who was injured and now is recovering at home.”

While masks are required in public areas of some communities across the Denver metro area, there is currently no mandate for the City of Aurora, however, the Tri-County Health Dept. strongly advises people to do so.

South Carolina Woman Charged With Attempted Murder After Shooting at Her Ex & His New Boyfriend

A South Carolina woman is facing serious charges after she opened fire on her ex-boyfriend and his new boyfriend in a drive-by shooting.

Spartanburg police said they arrested 53-year-old Renee Lavonne Simon Sunday night (May 17) after a man reported that she’d shot at him and his boyfriend as they were arriving at a home on Lincoln Drive.

The man told police that Simon was his ex-girlfriend, and she was apparently angry at him for moving on with his life and shacking up with someone else who just so happened to be another man.

Police said the victims also showed them that Simon had been sending them threatening text messages and videos prior to the shooting.

Authorities found two shell casings outside the home, but said, fortunately, no one was hurt in the shooting and no property was damaged.

Simon was charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of pointing/presenting a firearm, and two counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

She’s being held at the Spartanburg County Detention Center on a $38,000 bond, her online arrest record showed.

Meagan Good Says She Didn’t Bleach Her Skin … At Least Not on Purpose: “It Was A Beyond Painful & Traumatic Experience”

Meagan Good has been part of Black Hollywood since she was a child of the 90s. Though a beloved actress, in recent years she has faced skin bleaching accusations from fans.

Over the weekend, Good posted a photo of herself next to her Apple Memoji avatar and one (former?) fan chose to comment on the actress’ skin one and looks.

The commenter wrote:

“Megan looked better dark skin… She not so pretty anymore she looks average… But her dark skin was above average…. Why did she Bleach”

In a rare move, Good responded and denied bleaching her skin, revealing that a treatment by an “unlicensed aesthetician” has “messed up” her skin.

“I didn’t Queen. A (unbeknownst to me) unlicensed aesthetician gave me a product to correct a sun damage mark on my forehead that messed up skin. By the grace of God only; I’m about 80% through recovery and regaining my color daily.

“To be honest it was a beyond painful and traumatic experience because I would never wish that on anybody. I’d really appreciate if you wouldn’t continue to spread assumptions and rumors. Godbless you.”

Fans have speculated about Good’s lightening skin tone for years, but it was shockingly noticeable at her Black and Blue film premiere in October in 2019.

And a November 2019 appearance on The Real caught the attention of social media.

“Why Meagan Good look like Michael Jackson?” one person questioned on Twitter.

30-Year-Old “Twilight” Star Gregory Tyree Boyce & Girlfriend Found Dead in Vegas Condo, Both Leaving Behind Young Kids

Two families and Twilight fans are in mourning after the heartbreaking passing of Gregory Tyree Boyce and his girlfriend Natalie Adepoju.

It has been confirmed that Boyce—who starred in the first Twilight film—and Adepoju were found dead on May 13th inside their Las Vegas condo.

Boyce was 30 years old and is survived by his 10-year-old daughter Alaya. Adepoju was just 27 and was the mother of a young son named Egypt.

Boyce’s last Instagram post was on Mother’s Day and dedicated to Adepoju.

“Happy Mother’s Day again to my right hand / my roll dog / my Queen! Love you,” he wrote.

The cause of death has not been revealed at this time. However, TMZ is reporting that law enforcement sources told the outlet that an “unknown white powdery substance” was found at the scene.

Boyce’s mother, Lisa Wayne, also confirmed her son’s death in a Facebook message.

She shared that they lived in the same complex and the last night she saw him was the day after Mother’s Day for leftover of the meal he prepared.

“I’m sick without you. I’m torn, I’m lost. I’m in pain. I’d text you or call you when I was broken or worried about something, and you’d tell me, Ma, I got you, we’ll get thru this together. Boy. Why did you leave me?”

“The last time I saw you,” Wayne continued, “you walked me to my car, hugged me, kissed me on my cheek and told me that you love me and to call you when I got home. That was it. Never another hug, kiss or to hear those words, I love you again.”

Wayne also revealed that Boyce was a great chef and in the process of starting his own chicken wing business, West Wings. He had named several menu items after west coast rappers like Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar.

Boyce starred as Tyler Crowley in the first Twilight film. His character showed romantic interest in Kristen Stewart’s Bella and it was his van that almost crashed into Bella.

Though he was still commuting to LA for acting jobs, a source tells E! News that Boyce moved to Vegas to help his mom and be closer to his daughter.
