Trina’s A&R and Her Cousin Bobby Lytes Launch All-Out Attack on Nicki Minaj Over Lack of Promotion for “B.A.P.S.”

Hot damn ho, here we go again. Nicki Minaj is in the middle of ANOTHER beef with a female rapper and this time it’s with her long-time “friend,” Trina.

As those of you who pay attention to Nicki may already know, earlier this year, “B.A.P.S.,” a collaboration she recorded with Trina two years ago was released as part of Trina’s album, The One.

At the time, Nicki shouted out the collaboration on her IG Story and she invited Trina to her Queen Radio show to allow her to promote the album and the collaboration. The two spoke for 30 minutes. You can listen to the segment below.

But on August 12th, Trina’s A&R of her Rockstarr Music Group unleashed the dragon and he accused Nicki of being “a deceiver” and “a manipulator.”

Nicki caught wind of Reginald’s shade and she addressed it on her Queen Radio show, according to Rap-Up.

Nicki addressed the issue on her Queen Radio show on Monday (Aug. 12), saying she offered to shoot a video for “BAPS” as long as there was a budget.

“I always ask people, ‘Do you have a budget to promote the record?’ That’s it,” she said. “It’s a business. I don’t understand. No matter who I show love to, somebody’s mad. It’s not OK.

“That record was done like two years ago and I have the text messages where I kept on saying, ‘Hey, let’s do the video now while I’m living in Miami, ’cause you know sometimes when I get busy, I get real busy. I got downtime. Let’s get it out the way.'”

She explained that she invited Trina on Queen Radio to promote her album, along with Lil Durk and Chance the Rapper.

“The Megan Thee Stallion thing, that’s a single. It’s different,” she said. “I don’t know how people don’t see that. It’s officially a single that a record company is working and putting money behind.

“I always show the same love to anybody. Anytime I do a song with somebody, I show love just because I appreciate being a part of their record.”

She also called out Trina for not checking her team.

“For your team or anybody’s team to feel like I owed you anything or to go out and disrespect me because I’m showing love to another female and you’re not gonna check them, then that’s not cool,” she added.

“I dropped my own song that same day and still asked you, ‘Hey, come up to Queen Radio and promote your album.’ These are things that I don’t have to do. I’m not entitled to do anything for anyone.

“No one does anything for me. Y’all don’t go out of your way to stop the hate and jump in front of the hate train for me and do all of that shit.”

Nicki explained that it was a business decision.

“I also have to worry about what is gonna make not only sense, but dollars. I have to make so many business decisions and it’s not fair that people don’t understand that and I would never have anybody from my team disrespect somebody that I know shows me nothing but love—all the time. And has kept it nothing but fucking real.”

But oh wait. We’re not done yet. Reginald decided to continue his “I Hate Nicki” promo tour by doing a 17-minute phone interview with Funky Dineva. In the interview, Reginald claims and admits:

1.) That Nicki was shady for only posting the “B.A.P.S.” promo on her IG Story and not as a permanent post.

2.) That Nicki was unresponsive repeatedly to Trina’s team, whether it was to clear the song or to line up the video shoot

3.) That the “Megatron” release was timed to conflict with and overshadow the release of “B.A.P.S.”

4.) That budget for the “B.A.P.S.” video WAS there but Nicki never responded so the money had to be used for something else

5.) Trina is apparently in “a dark place” right now, which seems to have something to do with financial issues surrounding the new album

As if THAT wasn’t enough, Trina’s rowdy, gay cousin Bobby Lytes hopped onto HIS IG Live and came at Nicki Minaj as well for being “fake.”

So far, Trina has kept her mouth shut and given that Reginald says she’s in a dark place, I don’t suspect we’ll hear from her on this for a while.

But all things said: It seems like there’s truth on both sides. It seems like Trina’s independent operation was a bit shaky and Nicki wanted to honor her friendship with Trina but also wanted to have a comfortable amount of distance from something that might turn out to be … well, low budget.

It also seems like Trina has some staff members who don’t know their place and believe they should be the celebrity rather than the people they work for. Did she hire Reginald from the Kandi Factory? Because he’d be right at home with Don Juan’s nosey ass.

There is absolutely no reason Reginald should be out here putting Nicki on blast and doing interviews, even if EVERYTHING he says is true. That is NOT what an A&R should do.

And if he’s popping off at the mouth without Trina’s blessing, he’s now making HIS artist look bad and forcing her to answer for HIS misbehavior.

All of it’s really exhausting and very petty sounding, which is why none of it should’ve been aired as dirty laundry, but hey, that’s pretty much what Queen Radio is all about.

Hopefully, this hiccup between Nicki and Trina’s teams doesn’t devolve into a “Shether” style beef between these two.

Nicki Minaj Hollers at Joe Budden, Curses Him Out & Cuts Off His Mic During Queen Radio Interview

The Queen Radio platform is fast becoming one of the most controversial and incendiary shows in hip-hop, and the latest episode did not disappoint as it delivered a literal shouting match between Nicki Minaj and Joe Budden.

Ok. Shouting match isn’t exactly accurate as a match would imply that both sides were yelling. Nicki Minaj hollered at Joe Budden and didn’t let him get in a word edgewise and then cut him off when he tried to protest.

At the heart of the matter, Nicki had some grievances with Joe that she wanted to get off her chest. Namely, that Joe called her a lie in a few instances.

First, when Joe claimed that he believed Nicki was lying when she says that she recorded the “Hot Girl Summer” collaboration with Meg Thee Stallion after their IG Live appearance.

Joe claims Nicki is too savvy to have something so monumental be impromptu, while Nicki insists the collaboration and IG Live were organic and not pre-planned.

“One of the things we’re gonna address with Joe Budden is the amount of times that he has called me a liar about stuff that I wasn’t lying about,” she said. “I said, I’m a lot of things, but liar is not one of them.”

The issue with Joe over the “Hot Girl Summer” rollout was mild though, compared to the hot fire that Nicki spewed at Joe when they brought up the “MotorSport” collaboration with Cardi B and subsequent fallout with the “Bodak Yellow” femcee.

“Ya’ll went and told the world, ‘Nicki Minaj is lying,'” she said. “You said I didn’t know another bitch was on the song and then I got mad. But I’m the all-powerful queen bee, right? You really think someone could put a song out with Onika Tanya Maraj and I don’t know who the who on the song?”

Joe then tried to ask if Nicki and Cardi were taking shots at each other on “MotorSport,” but Nicki wasn’t having it.

“You not gon’ change the subject. I’m asking you a fucking question. You used to dealing with stupid people, you’re not gonna outsmart me, sweetheart. I said I knew the bitch was on the song, you said she didn’t know she was on the song.”

If that feisty exchange has you shaking scared that Nicki has a new mortal enemy, don’t worry. Nicki tweeted shortly after about appearing on Joe’s show and she made good on her promise as evidenced by her Instagram Live.

So the good news is, it seems like tough words haven’t resulted in hard feelings between Joe and Nicki.

Andrew Caldwell Released From Jail, Says He Was Hit With 5 Felonies “But Jesus Dropped the Charges!”

Andrew Caldwell is a free man … thanks to Jesus, who he says “dropped the charges.”

The social media star who went viral years ago for saying he was “not gay no more” because had been “delivert” was released from a St. Louis jail Friday afternoon (Aug. 9) after spending more than 24 hours behind bars.

As we previously reported, he was arrested early Thursday morning just after midnight.

The details surrounding his arrest were all over the place, but according to his arrest record online, he was charged with speeding, violating financial responsibility, and failure to appear in court—all misdemeanors. He was held without bond.

In an attempt to clear his name, Caldwell explained what happened on Instagram in a series of posts, with one saying: “Jesus dropped the charges!”

He went into greater detail in a series of follow-up videos.

Y’all know that boy be lying, so feel free to take whatever he said with a grain of salt.

But the gist of it was that he was being followed, and when he pulled his car over to a safe spot, he and the guy who was allegedly following him got into a physical altercation that resulted in Andrew smashing the man’s windows.

Now, if you’ll recall, the night of the incident, he was yelling in the street about being “almost carjacked and robbed” … so, which one was it, sir?

Andrew said he was “charged with five felonies” but thankfully Jesus dropped them all.

And the only reason why he was held without bond, he said, was because he “forgot” to pay for a ticket after he was caught speeding and driving without insurance in a previous incident.

Also, he wants you to “STOP CALLING [HIM] A JAIL-BIRD!” and stop referring to him as “Andrew Smollett.”

Apollo Nida Says He Hasn’t Seen His Kids in 3 Years Because of Phaedra Parks: “She Can’t Keep Us Apart”

Apollo Nida is gearing up for a public fight to see his kids.

Recently released from prison, Apollo took to social media yesterday (Aug. 11), to publicly assure his two sons (Ayden, 9, and Dylan, 6) that he loves and misses them.

“She can’t keep us apart,” he wrote, insinuating that ex-wife Phaedra Parks was keeping them away from him.

“DON’T WORRY ! We will be together soon, No matter what,she can’t keep us apart. The fight will not stop to be a good DAD!!! There’s not a day that goes by I don’t think of the 2 of u. LOVE AND MISS YA SO MUCH.#dayonedad #alwaysbeenthere #fathershaverightstoo.”

After serving five years, Apollo was released from the Fort Dix Correctional Facility at the end of July and will reside in a halfway house in Philadelphia until October.

Apollo and Phaedra began divorce proceedings in 2014, with the divorce being finalized in 2017 after a contentious battle. However, the former couple did agree on joint custody even while Apollo was incarcerated.

But according to a Straight From the A source, Apollo hasn’t seen the two boys since 2016, when Phaedra took them to visit their father in prison. The visit was partly shown on an episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta.

“Apollo hasn’t seen his kids since 2016, which was when Phaedra visited the prison on Bravo’s dime during her stint on the popular reality show,” the source said. “He hasn’t seen his sons in years and she still won’t allow them to visit even though he has offered to pay for their travel.”

According to the site, Phaedra has completely cut Apollo out of their lives because she believes he “doesn’t have anything” to offer the young boys.

Apollo has made the parental battle public, but it seems people in the former couple’s inner circle have known about the issue for some time.

“WOW!!!! This went public??? Not good!” Peter Thomas—Cynthia Bailey’s ex-husband and Apollo’s friend—commented on Apollo’s IG post.

Phaedra has yet to comment on Apollo’s accusation.

Missy Elliott Will Finally Receive Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at 2019 MTV VMAs

Missy Elliott has been announced as this year’s recipient of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, which will be presented to her at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards later this month.

Of course, this also means that we will be getting a huge performance medley from the legendary rapper, producer and songwriter in her first performance at the awards show in 16 years.

“Missy’s impact on the music landscape is indelible,” said Bruce Gillmer, co-brand head of MTV International and Viacom’s music and music talent head. “Her creative vision across production, performance and songwriting is unmatched.”

With five Grammy Awards, the honor of being the first female hip-hop artist to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and more than 30 million records sold worldwide, this honor is long overdue, but as they say, better late than never right?

Elliott joins previous VMA Vanguard honorees like Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Pink, Rihanna, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and many others.

The 2019 VMAs will air on MTV at 8 p.m. on Monday, August 26th live from Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Simone Biles Wins 6th U.S. Gymnastics All-Around Title, Lands Yet ANOTHER Historic Move During Finals

Simone Biles is the GOAT and she knows it. The 4-time Olympic gold medalist took home her sixth all-around title at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships and did so in historic fashion.

On Sunday (Aug. 11), won the all-around title for the sixth time, becoming the first woman to do so in 70 years. With a score of 118.500, she was nearly 5 points ahead of her competition.

Biles also became the first woman to successfully complete a triple-double during her powerful and dazzling floor routine. The move consists of two backflips and three twists midair.

Once she successfully lands the difficult skill at an international competition, it will officially become known as the Biles II as she already has a floor skill named after her.

“It’s a big deal and we all know it,” said USA Gymnastics director Tom Forster. “No one in the world has done it before in the women and actually, she does it better than most of the men who have done it.”

Biles debuted the skill on night one of the championships (Fri, Aug. 9), however, she uncharacteristically placed on her hands on the floor during her dismount and thus did not technically complete it.

The 22-year-old had two history-making skills during the 2019 championships. During Friday’s preliminary round, she became the first person in history to perform and land a double-double dismount on a beam.

This, too, will be named after her once successfully completed in an international event.

Biles won four other medals at this year’s championships, including three gold (vault, floor, beam) and one bronze (uneven bars).

At just 22, Biles is the most decorated female gymnast in history and is considered the greatest gymnast of all time. She acknowledged that GOAT status with a rhinestone goat on a leotard during a practice session for the championships.

Biles next heads to the world championship in October, with team USA and will continue to prepare for Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

She doesn’t plan on debuting any more history-making moves (but it’s possible).

“We don’t want to change too much going into next year,” she said. “You kind of just want to stay consistent with your routines, and if any upgrades come, you’ll see.”

22-year-old gymnastics GOAT Simone Biles made history (again) this weekend!

On Friday (Aug. 9), Biles, a five-time Olympic medalist, competed in the 2019 U.S. Gymnastics Championship in Kansas City, Missouri.

While there, she became the first person EVER to attempt and land a double-twisting, double somersault dismount from the balance beam in a match.

Biles—who is also the most decorated U.S. gymnast OF ALL TIME—ended her almost 1.5-minute routine with the historic move, which will be named after her once she completes it during an international meet, Team USA said in a press release.

Before pulling off the unprecedented move, though, Biles struggled a bit throughout the two-hour competition, calling parts of her routine “a piece of shit” and saying that she wanted to “throw it in the trash and start over.”

Earlier in the competition, Biles almost made history once again when she attempted a triple-double—two flips and three twists in the air, but she missed the landing and touched the mat with her hand.

“I’m still really upset about floor,” Biles told USA Today. “I did end on a good note, so that makes me happy. But I’m still disappointed about floor.”

Biles said she was frustrated with herself because she knows how well she can do and she failed to live up to her own personal expectations.

“I feel like I compete for perfection. So whenever I don’t do that, it really irritates me,” she said.

Despite a few missteps, Biles is currently first place at the meet, and will be back tonight for the second and final day of competition.

She’s expected to win her sixth U.S. title tonight, which would make her only the second woman in history to do so, tying the record Clara Schroth Lomady set in 1952.

Billionaire Jeffrey Epstein is Dead After Committing Suicide in Jail

Accused pedophile Jeffrey Epstein is dead “from an apparent suicide,” officials said Saturday.

The news comes a little over two weeks after a previous suicide attempt on July 24th when he was found injured with marks on his neck and in a fetal position in his cell at the federal Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan.

Epstein’s death also comes just one day after a number of court docs were unsealed that provided new details regarding Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking.

NBC News reports the 66-year-old disgraced billionaire was found unresponsive in his Manhattan jail cell around 6:30 a.m. ET after apparently hanging himself.

He was taken from the jail to a hospital in Lower Manhattan, where he went into cardiac arrest and was later pronounced dead, officials said.

Epstein was reportedly not on suicide watch at the time of his death

Jeffrey Epstein was being held after he was arrested and charged with running a sex trafficking operation which allegedly found him sexually abusing underaged girls between 2002 and 2005, with some of the girls allegedly as young as 14 years old.

According to a 2006 deposition released Friday, one alleged victim, who is now 36, said Epstein and his associates forced her to have sex with several high-powered men when she was 14

Epstein, who pleaded not guilty to the charges, was facing up to 45 years in prison.

Move over “Old Town Road,” the official song of the summer is here (even though we’re almost done with the summer, but that’s not the point).

Megan Thee Stallion dropped her highly anticipated “Hot Girl Summer” song, which features Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign.

The track has an interesting history. It was initially supposed to be just Megan and Ty, but during an epic Instagram Live session with Nicki Minaj, Megan asked her to jump on the track, and she did … that same night, in fact.

“We just went live together and she literally recorded her verse that night,” Megan told E! News’ Daily Pop. “They sent the song to me and I was like, ‘This is not real life. Y’all are playing right now.'”

When asked about Nicki’s verse, Megan said: “I love it. It was amazing. I can’t believe she did it so fast.”

With the song already storming the iTunes and Apple Music charts (According to That Grape Juice, it had already hit #1 on iTunes just a few hours after its release), it’s possible that it could dethrone Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” from the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, ending its nearly 19-week reign.

Meek Mill Looks Hella Frightened As Wendy Williams Kisses Him & Whispers in His Ear at Rick Ross’ Album Release Party (PHOTOS)

Rick Ross celebrated the release of his new album Port of Miami 2 by partying with friends Thursday night (Aug. 8) in New York City.

Meek Mill, who is featured on the project, was in attendance, as was Wendy Williams.

The 55-year-old daytime talk show host was photographed appearing to grab the 32-year-old rapper and pull him in for what Page Six described as an “awkward-looking kiss on the cheek.”

She also appeared to be whispering sweet nothings in his ear.

The expression on Meek’s face—he looked as if he had seen a whole ghost!—was priceless.

Wendy was also photographed partying it up with Rick Ross at the event.

As Page Six points out, Williams is very fond of Meek and often discussed the rapper on her show while he was in prison.

Wendy was among the many high profile figures advocating for Meek’s release, and after his 2008 gun conviction was overturned, she celebrated on her show, which is currently on hiatus for the month of August, declaring: “Meek Mill is a free man!”

“We’re all on Meek’s side,” she said. “Meek, congratulations to you.”

And given that Blueface created a whole song about thots called “Thotiana,” no one is expecting that he’s some kind of celibate monk.

But even Big Boy wasn’t ready for the body count that Blueface dropped on him while he appeared on his morning show.

In a very casual and flippant manner, Blueface claims that he has slept with 1,000 women in the last 6 months.

Again, I’m very sure that Blueface is SWIMMING in p**sy, but there is no damn way I’m believing he’s smashed 1,000 women in six (or so) months.

First of all … I don’t believe he’s capable of counting that high.

Secondly, he would have to have been knocking down different women in multiples EVERY SINGLE DAY since January 1st to rack up that kind of a body count.

And by his own admission, for at least a few weeks before he got into it with his mama and sister, he was involved in a steady throuple relationship with his baby mama and girlfriend for a few weeks.

But, if on some very off chance he actually did smash 1,000 women in six months, then I would not want to be his urologist, as there’s absolutely no way your penis is surviving being thrust into that many vaginas completely unscathed.

There’s gonna be a gonorrhea or herpes outbreak, a pregnancy scare, or a fiery UTI case that comes out of that kind of whirlwind activity.

Vice actually took the time to playfully try to see if they could make the math work on Blueface’s claim but the answer was a smooth no.

Beloved Father of 3 and Winston-Salem Barber Tragically Killed by Gun-Loving Aggressor After Argument in Restaurant

In the midst of the mass shootings that rocked Dayton, Ohio and El Paso, Texas, it’s important to not lose sight of the one-on-one killings that happen in cities and towns across the United States thanks to gun enthusiasts who simply don’t know how to control their temper or who use the weapons they own as a means for enacting vengeance for perceived slights against their pride or ego.

Julius “Juice” Sampson Jr.—a beloved Black father, husband and barber—is dead because of an altercation with a gun-obsessed, young white man named Robert Granato.

Juice, as he was called by his friends and family, was 32, while Granato is only 22.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are a bit hazy. Most of the reports merely state as a matter of fact that Granato and Sampson got into some kind of argument at BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse that spilled over into the parking lot.

The closest details we’ve gotten is that the argument involved Sampson intervening over Granato’s alleged mistreatment of a waitress at the restaurant, according to WFMY News:

Police said Sampson was defending a waitress who was being harassed by Granato who police believe was intoxicated and being belligerent.

While the police have ruled that the incident was not “racially motivated,” the NAACP strongly condemned the incident and called for a full investigation into the racial motivations behind the crime.

Police did confirm that racial epithets were exchanged between the two but that wasn’t enough for law enforcement to determine the death as being racially motivated.

Furthermore, some have alleged that Granato has white supremacist ties, though nothing concrete has surfaced to substantiate those claims.

A quick tour of Granato’s Instagram account shows a man who very much loved his guns.

As of right now: Granato has been charged with felony murder over Sampson’s death.

He is also charged with carrying a concealed weapon while or after consuming alcohol and is being held in the Forsyth County Jail with no bond allowed on the murder charge, according to the Winston-Salem Journal.

The most gut-wrenching part of this was hearing Sampson’s wife break down as she attempted to put words to the depth of her loss in an interview with local news.

“I need your help. God, I need your help. I need you to lead me. I need you to guide me. I need you to give me the words to say. I need you to give me the thoughts to think,” Keyia Sampson prayed.

Five years ago, Andrew Caldwell became famous for (allegedly) being “delivert” from homosexuality. Now he needs to be “delivert” from jail!

Mr. Andrew Chad Caldwell is currently sitting in a jail in St. Louis … after he was arrested early Thursday morning (Aug. 8) for only God knows what.

Details are scarce at the moment, but according to his arrest record online, he was charged with speeding, violating financial responsibility, and failure to appear in court—all misdemeanors.

We’re told he’s being held without bond.

As for what landed Mr. Delivert behind bars, apparently, he was out in the streets of St. Louis late Wednesday night (Aug. 7) causing a huge scene, telling police that he had been carjacked and robbed of his clothing.

But, according to an anonymous source, unsurprisingly, that was all a lie.

The Usher Board also provided an update on Caldwell’s situation:

Andrew Caldwell instantly became a viral sensation back in 2014 when he grabbed a microphone at a COGIC (Church of God in Christ) convention, and boldly declared:

Lela Rochon Flashes Wedding Ring in First Public Appearance Since Antoine Fuqua & Nicole Murphy Kissing Scandal

Even though her husband was just part of a major cheating scandal, Lela Rochon seems to be committed to her vows–publicly at least.

The actress hit the red carpet for the first time since her husband, director Antoine Fuqua, made headlines last month for kissing Nicole Murphy several times while on vacation.

Rochon attended the premiere of OWN’s new drama, David Makes Man, earlier this week. She was all smiles during the public appearance and flashed her wedding ring.

The actress has a recurring role on the series as the estranged mother to one of the main characters.

Rochon has not commented on her husband’s infidelity and has taken a break from social media. The couple celebrated their 20th anniversary earlier this year.

Paparazzi photos of Fuqua and Murphy caught the two intensely kissing on several occasions while separately vacationing in Italy. The photos went viral and sparked the cheating scandal.

Murphy has publicly apologized to Rochon for kissing Fuqua, who she described as a longtime family friend.

“I want to apologize to my family, and to Lela and the Fuqua family for what transpired,” she said in a statement.

“It was not my intention to be in this situation. I do not condone women kissing or interacting in anyway [sic] inappropriately with a married man.”

It has also been reported that Fuqua has repeatedly cheated on his wife throughout their marriage, including fathering other children.

A day after being shot at multiple times, rapper Yung Miami revealed to fans that she’s rattled by the horrifying experience.

“I keep looking at my pictures & all my mentions like it really could’ve been R.I.P.,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “I’m really not okay!”

The City Girls rapper—who is seven months pregnant—previously assured fans that she was doing fine following the drive-by shooting.

“Thank you, everyone, for your expression of sympathy, prayers & condolences. Me and baby summer is perfectly fine,” she wrote in an IG post.

“Thank you to everyone that reached out to me! I’m OKAY LOVE YALL,” she added in the post’s caption.

The 26-year-old was shot at multiple times early Tuesday morning (Aug. 6) while leaving a recording session at Circle House Studios in Miami. Some reports claim her red Mercedes G Wagon was shot at 14 times.

Miami told police officers a car with the headlights turned off opened fire from behind while she was at a stop sign. She said one of the bullets hit the spare tire attached to the back of the truck.

Police have released few details about the shooting. According to TMZ, there are currently no suspects.

Wendy Williams is opening up about her soon-to-be ex-husband’s “new family” for the first time in an official interview. And surprisingly, she had only positive things to say.

Williams appeared on Sway in the Morning with Sway Calloway on Tuesday (Aug. 6), and revealed that she has somewhat made peace with the fact that her husband, Kevin Hunter, fathered a child outside of their marriage.

“I still have love for him and I wish him the best in his new life with his new family.”

Though she wants to remain friends with Hunter, she is ready to finalize the divorce, which she admits is moving slower than she’d like.

“I want a divorce, like, yesterday. I want a divorce, like, two months ago, three months ago, whenever I found out, four months ago,” she said, referencing the moment she learned Hunter had another child.

“I want a divorce and I want to be friends with Kevin. And not because we have a son, but because that was real love. I still love him, just not in that way,” she continued.

Williams filed for divorce in April after it was reported that Hunter’s alleged mistress of 10 years, Sharina Hudson, had given birth to their child in late March. Williams and Hunter had been married nearly 22 years.

Williams previously confirmed Hunter had a child outside of their marriage in June. However, it was a brief comment she said in passing while talking to a TMZ reporter. Tuesday was her first time addressing the matter in an official capacity.

She also addressed reports that she plans to rehire Hunter as her business manager to oversee the several business ventures they created together, including a production company and a foundation.

“The only business that he can manage right now is to sign some divorce papers,” she said, setting the record straight.

Antney sat down for Bossip’s “Headline Heat” series where celebrities share their thoughts on the site’s headlines specifically about them.

Despite being one of Nicki Minaj’s first managers, she kept it all positive regarding the rivalry between the two female rappers.

Antney addressed a Bossip headline in which she claimed Minaj was her first successful artist. She clarified that Minaj was her “firstborn daughter” to be successful.

“Working with [Minaj] set a high bar with me for women. Period,” she said.

And because of this, she wants to support all female emcees, including Cardi B.

“I’m definitely not gonna say nothing negative against Nicki. Nobody could ever get me to say something negative against Nicki… I’m not gonna say anything about Cardi B either because I’m pro-woman. Period.”

She struck a similar tone back in 2017 when discussing the beef between Minaj and Remy Ma.

She told AllHipHop that she hoped that all female artists would support each other like they did during her era.

Child Sex Trafficking Survivor Cyntoia Brown Released From Prison After Serving 15 Years of Life Sentence

After spending half of her life behind bars, Cyntoia Brown walked out of prison a free woman early Wednesday morning (Aug. 7).

Her attorneys confirmed she was released from the Tennessee Prison for Women in northwest Nashville around 3:30 a.m. CT

Brown is an alleged child sex trafficking victim who was sentenced to life in prison for the 2004 killing of a 43-year-old man who bought her for sex when she was just 16 years old.

When she was just a teenager, Cyntoia ran away from home and met a man named “Kutthroat,” who forced her into drugs and prostitution and also introduced her to 43-year-old youth minister and real estate agent Johnny Allen.

Despite her young age, she was tried as an adult. During her trial, Brown testified that on August 7th, 2004 she was solicited for sex by Allen, who picked her up and drove her back to his house. There, Brown said she saw a gun cabinet in Allen’s room.

Brown said she resisted Allen until he appeared to reach under the bed, and at that moment, she believed he was going to kill her, so Brown took a gun out of her purse and shot Allen, killing him.

Brown claimed self-defense, however, prosecutors argued that Brown’s motive was robbery, and not self-defense, since she took the man’s wallet after she shot him.

She was convicted of first-degree murder, first-degree felony murder and aggravated robbery, all of which carried concurrent life sentences and eight additional years, and she wouldn’t have been eligible for parole until she was in her sixties.

The harsh punishment for a teenage victim of sex trafficking sparked outrage all over the country, especially after celebrities like Rihanna and Kim Kardashian came to Brown’s defense on social media in 2017.

Brown’s case also drew the attention of other high profile advocates, including a U.S. congressman and several Tennessee lawmakers.

Back in January, Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam granted clemency to Brown, who is now 31 years old.

In Tennessee, executive clemency is considered “an act of mercy or leniency providing relief from certain consequence of a criminal conviction,” according to the state’s Executive Clemency Unit.

At the time, Haslam said Brown’s case was one that “appears to me to be a proper one for the exercise of executive clemency.” He continued: “Over her more than fourteen years of incarceration, Ms. Brown has demonstrated extraordinary growth and rehabilitation.”

During her time in prison, Brown completed her GED and received an associate degree from Lipscomb University in 2015, and, according to the Tennessean, she obtained her bachelor’s degree in the Tennessee Prison for Women in May.

She also mentored women while working as an unpaid consultant for the juvenile justice system.

“I learned that my life was—and is—not over,” Brown said in a 2011 documentary, Me Facing Life: Cyntoia’s Story. “I can create opportunities where I can actually help people.”

Brown will be on parole for the next 10 years. Under the conditions of her parole, she must maintain employment or be enrolled in school, and she will also be required to participate in regular counseling sessions.

She’ll also be required to perform at least 50 hours of community service, including working with at-risk youth.

Were we duped? One month after their split was confirmed, Porsha Williams and Dennis McKinley are not only back together, but the wedding is also back on.

Following reports that the two had reconciled, Porsha confirmed the relationship yesterday (Aug. 6) on Dish Nation, while wearing her massive $750K engagement ring.

“We’re taking it one day at a time,” she told hold co-hosts. “We working on it.”

Porsha and Dennis apparently got back together during a Real Housewives of Atlanta cast trip to Canada.

And of course, the RHOA cameras captured it all, which makes me wonder if there was a real rift in the relationship or was it just for Porsha’s season 12 storyline.

“Dennis went on the cast trip to Toronto and the two spent a lot of time together on Sunday,” a source told Radar Online. “We will see a reconciliation when she tapes at her house this week.”

Porsha clarified on Dish that she did not take Dennis on the trip to Canada, but that he bought his own ticket.

Porsha and Dennis broke up last month for unknown reasons. However, there were allegations that Dennis cheated with WAGS Atlanta star, Sincerely Ward.

Dennis and Ward both denied the rumors and Dennis sued blogger Tasha K, who was the first to report the allegation.

“These false and slanderous allegations against me are made solely to damage my reputation, jeopardize my ongoing businesses, and negatively impact my family,” he said in a statement at the time.

Porsha and Dennis began last year and announced their engagement in September 2018. They welcomed their first child together, Pilar, in March.
