Slick Woods Almost Dies After Suffering Seizure in Her Sleep Following Cancer Diagnosis, Remains in Good Spirits

Slick Woods had a frightening health scare earlier this week, but the model is pushing through.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday (Jan. 7), Woods—who is battling stage 3 cancer—revealed that she suffered a seizure in her sleep. She was in good spirits and all smiles from her hospital bed in the video accompanying the post.

“Now that I’m feeling a million times better and walking again thanks @cheyalli for saving my life during an unexpected seizure in the middle of the night,” she wrote. “Man there’s so many people going through way worse #staygoofy.”

The Fenty model revealed in November that she was battling stage 3 melanoma and was undergoing chemotherapy. She was positive that she would beat cancer and told her fans to “stop treating me like a victim.”

Last month she gave a slight update following one of her appointments “Legs numb left hand still numb I hate this bullsh*t and the London gave me a wheelchair,” she wrote on social media.

But even through the pain, she has kept her sense of humor.

“I’m going to the strip club with a wheelchair, I don’t give a f**k about nothing,” she said to her friends in an Instagram Story.

We wish Slick Woods a speedy recovery!

Minneapolis Real Estate Agent Kidnapped & Murdered by Drug Dealer Looking to Rob Her Rapper Boyfriend

A well-respected Minneapolis real estate agent is dead after she was murdered by a man who was looking to rob her boyfriend, who’s a popular area rapper.

28-year-old Monique Baugh was found shot to death by authorities on New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31).

41-year-old Cedric Lamont Berry has been arrested in connection with the crime and is facing a multitude of charges.

Here are some things you need to know about the heinous crime:

Monique Baugh was set up by her alleged killer, Cedric Lamont Berry.

According to reports,  Monique was contacted on her phone by a prospective client interested in one of her homes.

When she arrived at the location in Maple Grove to show the prospect the home, a U-Haul truck pulled up and Monique was forced into it before the vehicle took off.

It was later revealed that Cedric Lamont Berry was the driver of the U-Haul, which he allegedly paid for in heroin.

The whole meet-up was apparently an opportunity for Berry to kidnap Monique so she could lead him to her boyfriend, rapper Momoh.

Cedric Lamont Berry also shot Monique’s boyfriend, rapper Momoh.

After kidnapping Monique and forcing her to lead him to her home she shared with her rapper boyfriend Momoh, Berry used Monique’s key to enter the home.

Upon entering the home, Berry began shooting at Monique’s boyfriend Momoh while the couple’s two young children were present—a 3-year-old in the living room and a 1-year-old sleeping upstairs—before fleeing the scene.

Momoh was shot several times, but called police after the incident and was taken to a hospital. He is expected to recover from his injuries.

Monique was found shot in an alley about an hour after her boyfriend was found by police also suffering from gunshot wounds.

According to authorities, about an hour later, Monique was found shot in her head and torso with her hands taped behind her back in an alley in the 1300 block of N. Russell Avenue. She was said to have been shot three times.

Monique was immediately rushed to North Memorial Medical Center where she later died.

Monique was a mother of two and worked for Kris Lindahl Real Estate.

Kris Lindahl released the following statement on behalf of the company:

“Our entire team is devastated by Monique’s death. This situation has shocked us all. We are grateful for the outpouring of support from the community and are focusing on remembering what an amazing person Monique was and helping her children.”

The real estate agency also started a GoFundMe for her kids and will match the first $10,000 donated.

Cedric Lamont Berry’s bail was set at $2 million.

CBS Minnesota reports that Cedric Lamont Berry, 41, was arrested on Friday (Jan. 3). Police found a black mask and 13 bags of suspected heroin inside his car when he was caught.

Berry was charged with several crimes, including two felony counts of second-degree murder and one felony count of kidnapping. Charges were announced Monday (Jan. 6).

Berry appeared in court Tuesday and his bail was set at $2 million. Prosecutors said they sought a high bail due to Berry’s “extensive criminal history and the danger he poses to public safety.”

Berry’s lengthy rap sheet includes previous convictions for drug dealing, drug possession, aggravated robbery, illegal weapons possession, and fleeing police.

He was also sentenced to five years in jail in 2001 after a passenger in his vehicle shot and killed a rival gang member

Fox News also reports that Berry is awaiting a verdict in a separate incident where he allegedly beat a corrections officer while serving time in 2017 for his drug convictions.

He’s also reportedly awaiting a verdict for a felony drug possession charge filed in March 2019 in Hennepin County

Monique’s rapper boyfriend Momoh did a song with Nipsey Hussle and recently flaunted loads of cash on social media.

Momoh released a song with Nipsey last year called “Westside” and recently signed a record deal.

He also posted videos of him with bundles of cash on social media, which police believe is the motive behind why Cedric Lamont Berry was out to rob him.

https://www.instagram.com/p/B6JUmw4hI_M/

In a criminal complaint filed it stated:

“Investigators were aware that Momoh had recently signed a contract to record rap music and had been flaunting his cash on social media. Momoh indicated that numerous individuals knew that he was involved with Baugh, but he did not believe that anyone who wanted to harm him knew where they lived.”

Momoh has also shown off several artists he has worked with on his Instagram page, including Rick Ross, Lil Baby, and 50 Cent.

R. Kelly’s Girlfriends Azriel Clary & Joycelyn Savage Fight on Instagram Live, Cops Called

While R. Kelly is currently behind bars facing several counts of sexual misconduct, two of his girlfriends have turned against each other and got into a brawl … and the whole thing went down on Instagram Live.

Azriel Clary and Joycelyn Savage got into a physical altercation today (Jan. 8) in their Trump Tower condo in Chicago. Cops eventually arrived on the scene after being alerted of a battery in progress.

In video from Azriel’s Instagram Live session, the 22-year-old is confronted by Joycelyn. “You disrespectful! You’re so evil!” Joycelyn yelled.

“I’m not evil. I need to protect myself,” Azriel retorted, prompting Joycelyn to initiate a physical altercation.

Azriel drops her phone during the scuffle, and though it’s turned away from the fight, the audio of the brawl is very clear. A few other people in the room can also be heard trying to pull the two women from each other.

Azriel then claims that Joycelyn is going to jail, not only for attacking her, but for having sex with her when she was underage.

Joycelyn called her a liar as Azriel continued to accuse her of sleeping with her as a minor and saying that she was going to jail because of it.

Following the fight, Azriel went on to say that Kelly has been lying about his relationships with women and had her and Joycelyn lie for him as well.

“He’s been lying to y’all assess and has people like me lying for him. And that’s why we never watched the documentary,” she said. “[Had us] on Gayle King as stupid as can f**king be.”

Later in the Live session, Azriel tells police officers that the altercation began after Joycelyn brought one of Kelly’s “handlers” into their shared apartment to retrieve some of Kelly’s awards and other items.

“After that, she started that I’m so wrong about this and that,” Azriel told the cops, adding that Joycelyn then “started attacking me.”

Azriel said that Joycelyn hit her with her hands and her phone, and also tried to kick her during the altercation.

In an update on the brawl, TMZ reports that Azriel has been taken to a hospital for further evaluation.

Kelly’s lawyer, Steven Greenberg, also issued a statement on the matter, claiming that Azriel has recanted her statement that Kelly had sex with her when she was a minor.

“I have a statement written by Azriel that she provided to me, voluntarily, after Robert was already in jail, that said she never had sex with him when she was under aged.”

He also dismissed Azriel and Joycelyn’s fight as a staged social media stunt.

“As far as this little catfight, it is clear that it was staged to try and boost social media popularity,” he said.

It is unknown at this time if any charges have been charged against Joycelyn or Azriel for the fight.

50 Cent Wants to Garnish Teairra Mari’s “Love & Hip-Hop” Checks in Order to Get the $34K She Still Owes Him

It may be a new decade, but 50 Cent is still hellbent on settling old grudges and debts. The rapper has filed new court documents in an effort to get the money Teairra Mari owes him.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson claims Mari has been lying about finances and wants to seize her Love & Hip-Hop paychecks in order to finally get the $34,000 she was ordered to pay him after 2018 revenge porn case was dismissed.

“To date, Mari has failed to pay a single dime to Jackson in satisfaction of the Judgment despite earning over $100,000 this past year. Her previous claims under oath that she is ‘broke’ no longer ring true, and it is more clear than ever that she has no intention of paying her debts.”

Fiddy went on to accuse Mari of attempting to “actively conceal her assets.” He’s requesting the court to order her to release additional financial records as well asking for an additional $5,295.50.

In 2018, Mari sued Fifty and her ex-boyfriend Akbar Abdul-Ahad for posting an explicit video and photo of her on social media. The case was dismissed in 2019 and Mari was ordered to pay the rapper’s attorney fees.

However, Mari had repeatedly stated that she doesn’t have the money and the two have been in a public feud ever since.

8 Months Pregnant Teacher Hit By Drunk Driver Minutes After Baby Shower, Loses Baby in Hit-and-Run Crash

The sad story of a soon-to-be mother who lost her baby due to a drunk driver just moments after her baby shower has social media in tears.

Mashayla Harper, a 24-year-old elementary school teacher in Mississippi, was eight months pregnant at the time of the hit-and-run accident that occurred this past weekend.

Here are a few things to know about Mashayla Harper and the drunk driver who hit her:

Mashayla Harper was hit by a drunk driver about 15 minutes after leaving her baby shower.

It was about 15 minutes after Mashayla left her baby shower when the wreck happened.

Harper had just finished celebrating one of the most exciting days of her life with her family and friends on Saturday (Jan. 4) when she was struck by a 2005 Nissan Titan on her way home.

The driver of the 2005 Nissan Titan quickly fled the scene after the crash, leaving Mashayla fighting for her life.

According to Harper’s father, Maurice Pruitt Sr., she was left bleeding and banged up on the roadside in the Soso community. He said that a hunter found Mashayla and called for help.

Harper was rushed to South Central Regional Hospital, where she lost her baby girl.

She has since been transferred to Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, where she currently is in critical condition, however, she is expected to live.

Mashayla is recovering from extensive injuries, including head trauma, a broken leg and damage to her abdomen.

Harper is a fourth-grade math teacher at South Jones Elementary School.

James Cory Gilbert, 33, has been arrested and charged for the hit-and-run.

33-year-old James Cory Gilbert was identified as the hit-and-run driver. He is being held at the Jones County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.

Gilbert is facing a boatload of charges including: Driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident causing death, leaving the scene causing injuries, marijuana possession, and possession of paraphernalia.

He is also no stranger when it comes to criminal charges and has at least three DUI convictions dating back to 2008. In 2015, he was convicted of felony DUI and possession of methamphetamine.

Gilbert turned himself in to authorities after newly elected sheriff Joe Berlin called Gilbert’s wife and got her to convince him to cooperate.

When questioned by news reporters on what made him run from the scene,  Gilbert told the news: “I was scared. I’m very sorry. I’m so sorry.”

Gilbert also reportedly admitted to authorities that he had been drinking and a small amount of marijuana was found in the pickup that he abandoned.

Gilbert is married and has two daughters.

Mashayla is obviously taking the loss of her baby very hard, but her family is staying by her side.

Mashayla’s father, Maurice Pruitt Sr., says she had made it through all of her surgeries, but right now the emotional part is taking the biggest toll.

This would have been Mashayla’s first child and she was going to name her Londyn Alise Jones.

“They are through with all her surgeries. Everything is fine. She is awake,” Pruitt told the news.

“She knows that her baby died. She is really sad. She doesn’t want anyone to leave her right now. They are allowing her mother to stay with her.”

https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=1262950037425930&id=100011328381098&__tn__=-R

Mashayla’s father also wrote a lengthy message on Facebook (above) thanking everyone, from the hunter who found her on the side of the road to the Soso Community for helping spread the word to find the hit-and-run driver.

A GoFundMe page has been made to help Mashayla with medical bills.

A family friend started a GoFundMe to help Mashayla with all of her medical costs following this tragedy.

The page reads:

“On Saturday Mashayla was hit by a vehicle shortly after her baby shower. The man drove off after hitting her, leaving her there. As a result of this she has lost her unborn child, and is currently fighting for her life in the ICU at a local hospital. According to her family her overall condition is improving, but it will be a very long road both emotionally and physically. Mashayla is currently a teacher at South Jones Elementry, and has one of the biggest hearts a human can have. The medical bills, income lost while off work, as well as countless other expenses will be astronomical. If you would like to donate any amount no matter how small will help! If you are unable to donate A simple prayer will be greatly appreciated. PLEASE share to get this to as many people as possible to help this wonderful woman out in the time she will need it most! Thank you!”

Charlamagne Gives DJ Envy The Most Awkward Christmas Gift Ever: “Is This Your Butt Cheeks, Yo?” (VIDEO)

Charlamagne Tha God is trending and you really don’t want to know why. But we’re going to tell you anyway.

The radio host returned to The Breakfast Club for his first day back since the holidays and had one final gift to give his co-host DJ Envy.

“It’s no secret that Envy flirts with me constantly,” Charlamagne said. “Ooh, it’s heavy, too. What you call me, thiccums?” he said as he grabbed the present, which featured a peach emoji.

A visibly excited Envy was eager to open the mysterious gift and read the note: “Ho Ho Ho! Happy holidays, love Charlamagne Tha God.” But he definitely got more than he was hoping for.

“Is this yo butt cheeks, yo?” he asked as he pulled out a jiggly mold of Charlamagne’s ass. “Is this balls? Is that your balls?!”

Yes, Charlamagne really did gift his straight and married male co-worker a replica of his buttocks, complete with his testicles and a “life-like” hole.

“Put your thumb in there,” Charlamagne teased.

“I am not putting my thumb in your butt!” Envy proclaimed. That is, until he played along and stuck his finger in Charlamagne’s hole.

“I don’t know how to feel about this. This is uncalled for. You’re flirting with me…I just might take this to Human Resources,” Envy added before telling his co-host thank you for the gift.

After video footage of the bizarre gift-giving exchange began to circulate, Charlamagne became a trending topic on Twitter.

Milwaukee Kids, Aged 12 & 13, Shot by Driver After Throwing Snowballs At Passing Cars

Milwaukee police are investigating after two kids, aged 12 and 13, were shot by a driver after throwing snowballs at passing vehicles.

According to Milwaukee police, the kids—a 12-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy—were hurling snowballs at passing cars with a group of children Saturday evening (Jan. 4).

After one of the snowballs hit a white Toyota, the driver of that vehicle pulled out a gun and opened fire on the children.

“It was like boom, boom, boom, boom all in succession,” said neighborhood resident Pearlee Piggue, who heard the shooting.

Officers were dispatched around 7:50 to the area of 61st Street and Birch Avenue, where they found the preteens minutes apart each suffering from a single non-life-threatening gunshot wound, Fox 6 News reported.

Responding officers immediately applied first aid to both victims, who were then taken to a nearby hospital. They are both expected to survive.

A description of the driver responsible for the shooting is unknown, however, residents are hopeful that they come forward.

“He should turn himself in,” Piggue said. “Do you really need to shoot somebody because they shot a snowball?” she asked.

Milwaukee police are asking anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to contact the department at 414-935-7360 or Milwaukee Crime Stoppers at 414-224-8477.

Amanda Seales Joins “The Real” As Permanent Co-Host, Show’s First New Host Since Tamar Braxton Was Fired

Daytime’s worst kept secret was finally shared with the world today (Jan. 6): Amanda Seales is the new co-host of The Real.

Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, and Tamera Mowry kicked off 2020 by welcoming Seales to the table as a permanent co-host.

“Please welcome the newest member of our family,” Love announced after noting the new seating arrangement and listing Seales’ accomplishments and credits.

The comedian and actress walked out to confetti and cheers from the audience and her new colleagues.

“I’m tripping right now,” she said when asked how it feels to have a permanent seat at the table.

And then she became emotional. “I didn’t expect to cry; I’m a G,” she said.

A frequent guest co-host, Seales revealed how freeing it was to be herself on the show and to have her voice heard without having to second-guess herself.

“[W]e are in a business and in a town where you are being scrutinized so much, and it’s always like, ‘You gotta play the game.’

“You know, it’s really just dope to come to a space where there was four women who I get along with on and off-screen, and we have different personalities and we have different points of view, but that’s the world, that’s what it is.

“To be able to have the honor of bringing my voice into that means a lot to me.”

A few weeks before the new year and before The Real went on its holiday hiatus, it was widely reported that Seales would be joining the panel. However, there was never an official confirmation or announcement until today.

This will mark the first time The Real has had a permanent fifth co-host since 2016, when original co-host Tamar Braxton was abruptly fired from the show.

Braxton has been vocal about her contentious dismissal and no longer speaks with her former co-hosts.

Apryl Jones & Fizz Spark Breakup Rumors After Unfollowing Each Other on Social Media, Twitter Reacts

True love didn’t last long for Fizz and Apryl Jones. After fiercely defending their relationship to their close friends and the entire internet, it seems the two have quietly called it quits.

Many have begun to speculate the two Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood lovebirds are now broken up after it was discovered that they had both unfollowed each other on social media. They also haven’t posted a picture together since November.

The apparent split caused the exact reaction from Twitter as you would expect.

Fizz and Apryl’s close friendship-turned-romantic-relationship has been met with much resistance since the beginning because the father of Apryl’s two children is Omarion, Fizz’s B2K bandmate.

Not to mention, the couple reportedly denied their relationship to their friends and family for several months, basically causing Moniece—the mother of Fizz’s child—to have an emotional breakdown as they made her out to be unstable after she publicly outed them on social media on several occasions.

Fizz and Apryl ultimately confirmed the relationship during the most recent season of LHHH and couldn’t care less about what their castmates had to say about it.

But that didn’t stop Moniece, fellow B2K member J-Boog, and others from voicing their issues with the couple’s ways during the reunion.

Some even believe the friction was the reason B2K was unable to go another Millennium tour, while Omarion chose to create a separate tour featuring artists like Bow Wow, Soulja Boy, and Pretty Ricky.

Though he shadily announced the tour on Fizz’s birthday, Omarion stated in a VladTV interview that he had no ill-will toward Apryl and Fizz and wished them well.

“I don’t feel no ways, I don’t feel any way about it,” Omarion said at the time. “I think that if they’re happy, then they should be happy … She’s still the mother of my children.”

So far, there hasn’t been any confirmation (or denial) that Apryl and Fizz are, in fact, over. But for now, social media seems to think the relationship is done.

Boss Moves: Beyoncé & JAY-Z Arrive to Golden Globes 1 Hour Late With Bodyguard & Bottles of Ace of Spades

Beyoncé and JAY-Z pulled boss moves when they attended the 77th Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night (Jan. 5).

First off, the power couple straight up skipped the red carpet and arrived to the ceremony at the Beverly Hilton one full hour late. And they literally brought their own bottles of champagne to the catered event.

LA Times writer Amy Kaufman captured the moment they entered the room and shared it on Twitter.

With loyal bodyguard Julius by their side, Bey and Hov were spotted waiting to take their seats while Kate McKinnon honored Ellen DeGeneres, the recipient of the Carol Burnett Award for Achievement in Television.

In the photo, Julius was holding two bottles of Armand de Brignac behind his back, despite the event being sponsored by Moët & Chandon last night and for several years prior.

Back in 2014, Jay-Z became part owner of Armand de Brignac, also known as Ace of Spades because of its logo. His stake in the champagne company was undisclosed, but it’s been reported that the investment cost him around $200 million.

But with bottles of Ace of Spades selling upwards of $200K each, he’s likely making a huge profit. The bottles can also go as low as a few hundred dollars.

And once Beyoncé took her seat, she also caused some social media chatter for staying seated. When Joaquin Phoenix won his Best Actor award, she was noticeably seated amid the standing ovation the actor received.

Phoenix fans were not too pleased with Queen Bey’s choice to congratulate him from her seat.

Beyoncé and Jay attended the Golden Globes because she was nominated for her song “Spirit” (The Lion King) in the Best Original Song category.

Though she lost to Elton John and Bernie Taupin, she is on the shortlist to be nominated for an Oscar in the same category next week.

Mugshot Madness: DaBaby Arrested for Allegedly Beating Up Miami Promoter, Also Wanted in Texas

DaBaby was arrested in Miami Thursday and remains in jail Friday (Jan. 3) after police detained and questioned him regarding a robbery that was caught on video.

Video footage posted on Instagram showed the rapper in handcuffs being placed in a Miami police car.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ, DaBaby allegedly robbed the victim—who is a concert promoter—of $80, a credit card, and then poured apple juice all over him. The rapper also allegedly took the man’s iPhone 7.

The reasoning behind the alleged assault and robbery was because DaBaby felt the promoter had shorted him after a recent gig.

The police report stated that the promoter gave DaBaby $20K, but DaBaby said he was owed $30K for a concert he was supposed to perform on Thursday. When DaBaby met up with the guy to get his money, that’s when “things just went out of control,” one source said.

The police report also states that a second victim was punched in the face.

Though the “Bop” rapper (whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk) hasn’t been charged with any crime related to the alleged robbery, during questioning, detectives found out the North Carolina rapper had a warrant for his arrest in Texas for a battery charge.

“He was taken to headquarters for questioning, reference a possible robbery,” Miami Police Spokeswoman Kiara Delva told the Miami Herald. “We haven’t confirmed his involvement in the case, but robbery detectives were questioning him.”

DaBaby’s bond for the battery charge was set at $1,500, however, because of the Texas warrant, he will “remain in custody until further notice,” Miami-Dade Corrections Spokesman Juan Diasgranados said.

DaBaby is expected to appear before a judge Friday.

Ray J & Princess Love Reveal Newborn Son’s Name, and It’s “Epik!”

Ray J and Princess Love recently welcomed their second child. Details about the birth have not been revealed, but the couple did just share their son’s name for the first time.

With a photo of the baby holding Princess’ thumb, the proud mom introduced her Instagram followers to Epik Ray Norwood.

Ray J announced the arrival of baby Epik with a YouTube video he posted on New Year’s Eve.

Ray and Princess’ marriage has been strained for several months since Princess accused Ray of leaving her and their 1-year-old daughter “stranded” in Las Vegas. Princess was eight months pregnant at the time.

Though Ray denied Princess’ version of events, he eventually apologized, but not before both parties publicly threatened separation and divorce.

With the birth of Epik and the dawn of a new decade, a source tells Hollywood Life that the couple is now committed to working things out.

“Ray J has been doing everything in his power to win back her trust because he knows she’s the love of his life and they’ve been through so much together.

“He knows he’s not perfect but will do anything and everything to prove he can be the best father and husband that she needs.”

Another source tells the news outlet that Ray is “going into the new decade a changed man” and “leaving all the foolishness behind him.”

The source adds that family and friends believe the couple will weather the storm.

“They had a great Christmas together and seemed to be doing good again. Their family and friends are all very hopeful that he’ll live up to his promises and be the husband and father they know he wants to be and can be.”

Bobbi Kristina’s Ex, Nick Gordon, Dead at 30 From Drug Overdose

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s ex-boyfriend Nick Gordon has died at the age of 30 following a drug overdose.

Gordon’s brother, Jack Walker Jr., confirmed to People that Gordon passed away Wednesday (Jan. 1) in Florida.

“We are devastated by the loss of my beautiful brother,” Walker Jr. told the magazine in a statement. “He leaves a void in the hearts of my family and his friends. Nick’s battle in life was not an easy one. I will be forever grateful that my God afforded a small moment at the very end of Nick’s life, and I was able to hold his hand as he journeyed on.”

Sources revealed to The Daily Mail that Gordon suffered several heart attacks on New Year’s Day and was rushed to the ICU at Altamonte Springs Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Walker Jr. expressed grief about brother’s death on Facebook Wednesday evening, writing: “GOD WHY DID I HAVE TO LOSE MY BROTHER ON NEW YEARS” and “All I can do is cry.”

He later added in a separate, lengthier post:

“I love you so much big brother I hope you heard me talking to you at your bedside you are with me and I can feel it I love you I love you I love you watch over me and your nieces.

“Sh*t wasn’t [supposed] to go like this I talked to [you] 6 hours before all this started you gave me my nickname Lil Wop and that Will forever be what I go by … you [were my] best friend and I never in a million years thought I’d be writing this for my ACE.

“I was there through every step we all love you no matter what and we’ll all stay strong for you, New Years didn’t have to start like this and you just told me you HAD to see me for New Years but I’m blessed I got to talk to you last night … you will forever be my best friend nobody will ever take your place.”

Nick Gordon’s sudden death comes four years after Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death in 2015. The 22-year-old was found unconscious and unresponsive with drugs in her system in the bathtub of the Georgia townhouse she shared with Gordon.

Gordon was found liable for Brown’s death in 2016 and was ordered by a judge to pay $36 million to her estate.

Gordon was also under criminal investigation for Brown’s death when he was accused of domestic violence with his new girlfriend Laura Leal, however, the case was dropped.

Mariah Carey’s Twitter Hacked on New Year’s Eve, Hacker Tweets: “Eminem Can Still Hold This P***y”

Did Mariah Carey just admit her thirst for Eminem, exposing their long-held feud as an elaborate cover-up of her true feelings? Not exactly.

Carey—who’s been setting records and making history throughout December—seemingly went on a tweeting spree earlier this New Year’s Eve afternoon.

But as soon as she tweeted: “Eminem can still hold this p***y,” it was pretty clear that her account had been hacked.

Other tweets referenced Eminem’s “little penis,” his daughter, and used the n-word.
The hacker gave shoutouts to specific users and begged Carey’s 21 million followers to follow several Twitter handles with photos and videos.

Some tweets also mentioned the Chuckling Squad, a hacker group that has been responsible for hacking several celebrity Twitter accounts, including the account of Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey.

According to Variety, Carey’s hacker sent over 50 tweets within just over 20 minutes.

A majority of the hacked tweets were deleted roughly 20 minutes after the attack ended. Carey has not addressed the matter, but it did cause her to become a trending topic.

Carey has been trending for several other reasons this month as well. She scored her 19th Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 when her holiday classic “All I Want for Christmas,” topped the chart for the first time since its 1994 release.

And since the song remains in the top spot for the week of January 4th, Carey also becomes the first artist in history to have No. 1 songs in four decades (the ’90s, ’00s, ’10s, and ’20s).

Though I’m sure she’s upset her account was hacked, let’s hope Carey is too comfortable sitting on her throne for legends to be too bothered by the cyberattack.

Ray J & Princess Love Welcome Baby Boy Amid Marriage Woes

Ray J and Princess Love’s relationship may be rocky at the moment, but the two definitely have something to celebrate this holiday season. The couple has just welcomed their second child together.

In a family-oriented YouTube video Ray posted on Monday (Dec. 30), it seems to reveal that Princess has given birth to their son.

The video mostly shows Christmas and holiday moments of Ray, Princess, and their 1-year-old daughter Melody.

However, towards the end, it shows clips of the family arriving at the hospital, Ray changing into scrubs, and a very pregnant Princess happily being wheeled off in a hospital bed to bring their son into the world.

“I love you @mzprincesslove so proud of you,” Ray wrote in a tweet that included the video. “Strongest women [sic] in the world and the mother of my children.”

There has not been an official announcement of the birth and details such as birthdate, weight, or name have yet to be revealed. All we know for sure right now is that the Love & Hip-Hip Hollywood Norwoods are now a family of four.

The past few months have really tested Ray and Princess’s marriage.

Back in November, the couple had several heated private and social media arguments after Princess claimed Ray left her and Melody “stranded” in Las Vegas after the Soul Train Awards.

Ray’s insistence on moving to Las Vegas prompted the incident; however, Ray claims Princess and Melody were never stranded. Princess also revealed that a few weeks prior, she found out Ray had been “entertaining” other women with a second phone.

Things got so tense between the two that they each threatened separation and even divorce.

“I don’t want to be married anymore. Period,” Princess said during an Instagram Live session telling her side of the story. “I don’t have time for this. This is not love. And I’m done.”

Though some sources say the two haven’t fully reconciled, they are trying to work things out. And now they have a new bundle of joy to dote on in the new year.

“I love you princess love! And my babygirl melody! I don’t ever wanna lose our time together,” Ray captioned his new YouTube post. “I’m sorry for everything. 2020 will be somthing [sic] very special.”

70-Year-Old Woman Tased 3 Times in Her Home on Her Birthday By Police Attempting to Arrest Her Grandson

One day after Christmas a 70-year-old woman was tased three times by police officers while trying to arrest someone they suspected was inside her home.

According to a police report, Barbara Pinkney of Florida was tased multiple times at her home last week on her 70th birthday (Dec. 26).

The incident occurred after Pinkney refused to let officers inside her home who were attempting to execute an arrest warrant.

The officers were looking for Pinkney’s grandson, Tevin Turner, who was wanted for carrying a concealed firearm and believed he was inside the elderly woman’s home.

The woman refused to let them in because they didn’t have a search warrant, but they explained one wasn’t necessary to search her home since they had an arrest warrant.

The officers warned Pinkney that she could be arrested for obstruction. She eventually tried to close the door and then shoved one of the officers when they forced themselves inside.

That’s when one of the officers pulled out his taser and fired. According to the report, the tase had “no effect” on the woman, so he then “drive stunned” her, which involves placing the taser directly against the body.

However, in a local ABC News interview, Pinkney said that she became frightened after the first tase hit her arm.

Pinkney was taken to the ground, but rolled on her stomach and pulled her arms underneath, preventing arrest. The officer then tased the elderly woman a third time.

The report notes that another officer also had to intervene in order to subdue Pinkney.

Pinkney was arrested and charged with felony battery on a law enforcement officer and obstructing justice. She was released later that day on a $1,000 bond.

She says that she had no intention of breaking the law and only wishes that the police had shown proof of a warrant before barging into her home.

Local news outlets report that Turner was not found nor apprehended on Pinkney’s property.

A deputy noted: “There was enough time during the chaos at the front of the residence for (the suspect) to get out of the rear of the residence.”

A neighbor’s dog was also tased during the police call for trying to attack a K-9 Unit that had also responded on the scene.

Don Imus, Controversial Radio Host Who Called Black Women “Nappy Headed Hoes,” Dead at 79

Don Imus, the legendary “shock-jock” radio host known for stirring up controversy, has died at the age of 79, a family spokesperson confirmed.

Variety reports that the controversial broadcaster died Friday (Dec. 27) in College Station, Texas after being hospitalized on Christmas Eve.

A cause of death has not yet been revealed, however, Imus was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2009.

Imus—known to his fans as the “I-Man”—retired from his nationally syndicated “Imus in the Morning” radio show back in March 2018 after hosting the show for nearly 50 years. He was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 1989.

Don prided himself on speaking his mind about politics, pop culture and other hot topics, however, he faced a ton of backlash and lost some of his national platform in 2007 after he made some racist-as-hell comments about the predominately Black Rutgers Women’s Basketball team, whom he referred to as “nappy-headed hoes” and “jiggaboos.”

Imus later met with members of the team and apologized in person, but he was still fired from CBS for making those ridiculous comments on his nationally syndicated platform.

“I wasn’t trying to be outrageous,” Don told CBS News last year in regards to his long run as a radio personality. “It’s just the way I thought. My feeling was then, and is now, that if they didn’t like what I did, get somebody else to do it.”

Don Imus is survived by his wife of 25 years, Deirdre, sons Wyatt and Lt. Zachary Don Cates, and daughters Nadine, Ashley, Elizabeth and Toni.

Mugshot Madness: Young Buck Arrested in Nashville on Felony Warrant, Held Without Bond Until May 2020

Young Buck spent his Christmas in jail after the rapper was arrested last week in Nashville, Tennessee.

According to Nashville’s News Channel 5, the former G-Unit rapper (real name: David Darnell Brown) was scooped up by police on December 20th on a felony fugitive from justice warrant out of Georgia. The charge connected to the warrant hasn’t been publicly revealed.

Because Buck is considered a fugitive of justice, he’s not eligible for bond and will remain in bars until his scheduled court date on May 7th, 2020.

Buck was jailed in 2016 for violating his probation in connection to a restraining order. The following year, he was indicted on domestic assault and vandalism charges.

Lil Uzi Vert Reveals He Hasn’t Had Sex in Two Years

Earlier this year rapper, rapper Blueface claimed that he’d had sex with over 1,000 women within a six-month span. But Lil Uzi Vert claims to be the exact opposite.

In a Twitter Q&A session with his followers on the day after Christmas, a comment about condiments lead the rapper to reveal that he hasn’t had sex in almost two years.

Given that we’re near the end of 2019, it would mean that Uzi hasn’t had sex in one year. But he may have meant to tweet the beginning of 2018. Either way, Uzi claims he’s in a dry spell and it may be voluntary.

In a subsequent tweet, he quickly shut down a fan’s prediction that he will have a baby in 2020.

Uzi Vert has pretty much taken a break from music this year following issues with his previous label.

He made a big statement with his return earlier this month, dropping “Futsal Shuffle 2020.” The single debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, his highest-charting solo track thus far.

Though “Futsal Shuffle 2020” is the first single from his long-awaited second album, Eternal Atake, there’s still been no new news about the project’s release date.
