Viral Ice Cream Licker D’Adrien L’Quinn Anderson Sentenced to 30 Days in Jail

Do you guys remember when a bunch of people got arrested for licking cartons of ice cream and putting them back into the freezer at supermarkets?

Well, a 24-year-old Texas man was sentenced to jail on Wednesday (Mar. 4) for doing just that.

D’Adrien L’Quinn Anderson is now facing 30 days in jail, 180 days probation over two years, and over $2,500 in fines and restitution after he posted a video of himself giving a carton of Blue Bell ice cream a big old lick at a Walmart before putting it back on the shelf.

The incident actually took place last August, and at the time, Anderson told reporters that the reason he did the stunt was because he wanted to go viral on the internet.

After performing the stunt that would land him in jail months later, Anderson at least had the decency to go back and purchase the carton he defiled.

When confronted by the police, he was able to show them a receipt of his purchase. However, by that point, the video had already been shared on social media, and Walmart was forced to throw out all of the remaining ice cream in the freezer because of health concerns, which cost Blue Bell $1,565.

While it may have been a harmless stunt in Anderson’s mind, the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office didn’t see it that way.

“Anderson’s actions caused public concerns about the safety and quality of consumer products offered for public consumption, impacted Blue Bell consumer confidence, and caused the company financial loss,” they said in a statement. “This type of activity will not be tolerated.”

Anderson, who regularly posts videos on Facebook and Instagram, has amassed over 125,000 views in his attempt to become social media famous.

However, it might be a while before he posts again, because he started serving his 30-day stint in jail immediately after being sentenced.

Bill Clinton: Having Sex With Monica Lewinsky Helped Me “Manage My Anxieties”

No matter who you are, there’s likely some type of stress in your life. We all experience it, and we all cope in different ways.

Some turn to exercise to alleviate their anxieties, others drink, some eat. If you’re Bill Clinton, the way you deal with anxious feelings is by having an affair with Monica Lewinsky in the Oval Office.

It was one of the “things I did to manage my anxieties.”

That’s what the former president said in a new documentary coming to Hulu called Hillary.

The new series that’s set to release on the streaming platform on Friday (Mar. 6) offers a “remarkably intimate portrait of a public woman” with never-before-seen 2016 campaign footage.

The series also features former President Bill Clinton, who goes into details of his extramarital affair with Lewinsky, a White House intern at the time.

During the interview, he describes the stresses of being president as feeling like “a 15 round prize fight that was extended to 30 rounds,” and that his affair was “something that will take your mind off it for a while.”

Clinton, who is now 73 years old, says that he is a “totally different person” now, and that he feels bad for the effect the affair had on Lewinsky’s life. She has been unable to avoid the media limelight since the scandal over 20 years ago.

“I feel terrible about the fact that Monica Lewinsky’s life was defined by it—unfairly, I think,” he said. “Over the years, I’ve watched her trying to get a normal life back again. But you’ve got to decide how to define normal.”

The Clintons also discuss how the affair caused numerous problems within their marriage that were only resolved by “painful” marriage counseling.

When asked why she would want to offer such personal insights into some of the most stressful times of her life, Hillary Clinton said it’s because she isn’t running for anything anymore.

3-Year-Old Girl Killed, Pregnant Mom Stabbed By Angry Ex-Boyfriend After She Broke Up With Him

Wisconsin police have arrested the man they say is responsible for a vicious attack that severely injured his pregnant ex-girlfriend and killed her 3-year-old daughter.

Police in Appleton responding to a home the night of February 26th arrived to find 27-year-old Tiana Corbin and 3-year-old Zyana Corbin suffering from “life-threatening injuries … consistent with the use of an edged weapon,” according to a news release.

According to a probable cause statement, when police arrived on the scene, one of the officers reported witnessing a “frantic and distressed” man walking towards police, telling them that a woman was covered in blood in the hallway of an apartment and a baby had “cuts all over her face.”

The man was later identified as Tiana’s ex-boyfriend, 25-year-old Demetrius L. Williams.

The probable cause statement said Zyana had a deep cut to her throat, and appeared to be unconscious, while Tiana had injuries to her chest and abdomen.

Officers said Tiana also had a large cut to her lower back region and severe cuts to her face, neck and chest.

Tiana told police she’d been pepper-sprayed and also said Williams beat her and used a knife.

Tiana and Zyana were both taken to a nearby hospital, where Tiana stabilized following a successful surgery.

Police said Tiana’s unborn baby was unharmed in the attack, and Tiana is expected to make a full recovery.

Zyana unfortunately “succumbed to her injuries” in the emergency room, the news release stated. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday (Mar. 6).

Tiana’s ex-boyfriend was arrested on the night of the Feb. 26th incident. He appeared before a judge on Monday (Mar. 2) and was charged with first-degree intentional homicide, as well as two counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide. He’s being held on a $2 million bond.

During his first court appearance, prosecutors said the night of the violent attack, Williams flew into a rage when Corbin told him she wanted to end their relationship.

“He was beginning to feel that his girlfriend, who was pregnant with his child, was beginning to distance herself from him,” Outagamie County District Attorney Melinda Tempelis said during the hearing, according to the Associated Press. “He began to concoct a plan to kill her and to kill her 3-year-old daughter.”

WBAY Action 2 News obtained a copy of the police report, which contained disturbing details about the violent attack:

While speaking with police, Tiana stated she met Williams on Instagram, and he had moved to Appleton from Minneapolis in the middle of July, and lived at her apartment for about three months.

She also told police she had been concerned about adding him on her lease because he had an eviction in Minneapolis, and didn’t have a job, and also wasn’t saving money.

Tiana then said she didn’t think she wanted to be with Williams anymore but was afraid to tell him because she was “scared of the way he moves and does things,” and wanted to be discreet.

She said when the attack started, she saw her daughter run out to the living room to the couch from her bedroom. She then continued on to say she was trying to get to the sliding glass door and was by the table near the couch, and said her daughter was standing on the corner of the couch near the door.

The complaint states Williams was able to get the phone out of Tiana’s hand as she was trying to call for help. Tiana was eventually able to open the sliding door and get out, but wanted to go back and grab her daughter, but Williams was still slashing at her.

Tiana then told police [she] reentered the apartment complex, and was told by a lady across the hall to not go back in, and that when she stepped out, Williams had closed the door and locked it.

The complaint states Tiana thought Williams wouldn’t hurt her daughter because he had a “really good bond with her,” and that she said she was begging for help outside and went to the neighbors, opened their door and was wondering what to do because Zyana was still in the apartment.

Eventually, Tiana told officials Williams then opened the door and ran towards the back, and she went inside and saw blood on her Zyana, who was still trying to breathe.

Tiana told police she could see her daughter’s throat.

The complaint states Tiana “didn’t see this coming’,”and that she “had a bad feeling about him, but didn’t see this attack coming.”

Tiana told police she yelled for help, and saw blood on the floor while Williams attacked her.

In a separate interview, police sat down with Williams.

Williams then told police he met Tiana on Instagram Chat, and said Tiana was living in California, had a young daughter and was divorced.

He then stated Tiana and Zyana moved to Appleton in order to be closer to their family about a year ago, and he ended up moving from Minneapolis to be with Tiana to start a family because they both believed the same faith or spirit.

He told police he lived with Tiana and Zyana for the first five-six months until about December of 2019, and eventually moved out to live at a homeless shelter after the landlord began asking questions, since he wasn’t on the lease.

Afterwards, he told police he knew Tiana was about seven or eight months pregnant with his daughter, and is due in May, and that this would be his first child.

Williams stated he had noticed Tiana hadn’t been communicating with him, or reciprocating his affection, and was ignoring him, and once he felt she didn’t care about him, he “let things build up and it finally came out.”

The day of the attack, he told police he went to Tiana’s apartment around 6 p.m., and found Tiana’s sister and her children there as well.

After they left, Williams says Tiana asked him to leave since she was putting Zyana to bed, and at one point, she had stepped out of Zyana’s room to use the bathroom, and he went into the kitchen to get knives, which he said he hid in his pocket. He also told police he had grabbed a box cutter he had bought before from a top shelf in Tiana’s bedroom earlier in the evening.

When Tiana came back to the bedroom, he said she had taken her glasses off, and Zyana started playing with Tiana’s eyes.

He then told police he took out his pepper spray and sprayed Tiana in the eyes so she couldn’t see and disable her, and then took a knife from his pocket and stabbed and slashed her in the face multiple times.

Williams then told police while attacking her, the knife broke, so he took a second knife from his pocket and continued attacking her.

He said when Tiana was able to get away from him to get help, he then went after Zyana, and stabbed her in the face with a knife, and then used a box cutter to cut her face and throat in the living room, where she had ran to during the attack on her mother.

Police then asked him why he attacked Zyana, and he replied saying he knew the two were close, and he knew that “killing Zyana would bring Tiana great pain or hurt her a lot,” and knew how much Tiana loved Zyana.

When asked why he attacked Tiana, he said he couldn’t talk to her and his anger had been building up. He then told police he decided to call them to report the attack because he knew police would eventually get to him.

Williams also said he had been thinking and planning of ways to kill them for about a week, and initially thought about poisoning them, but decided to use a weapon instead.

He said he had planned to take out Tiana first and then Zyana because he didn’t want to leave her there. Williams also said he “rushed” his plan that night, and went to their apartment with the intent to kill them.

Police asked Williams why he wanted to kill Tiana and his baby, and according to the complaint, he said it was for “freedom and happiness.”

A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist Tiana in her ongoing recovery and to help cover funeral costs for Zyana. CLICK HERE TO DONATE.

“Zyana was taken from us to soon; she was full of life and so sweet. She always would smile and brighten up the room,” the page reads. “This unexpected tragedy has left Tiana in an immense amount of pain physically, mentally and emotionally.”

Highly Recruited 19-Year-Old Basketball Player Killed in Accidental Shooting

A highly recruited 19-year-old basketball star died Monday night (Mar. 2) from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Ashley “A.J.” James was in the middle of the basketball season at Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Virginia where his on the court talents earned him the honor of being a Virginia Class 5 Region A Player of the Year and a two-time First Team All-State selection.

The 6-foot-3, 170-pound shooting guard was being recruited by prominent schools such as N.C. State and Virginia Tech, but ultimately decided to commit to Missouri State in December. He would’ve joined the Bears’ team this fall.

Sadly, news broke Monday night that police officers responded to a call at an apartment complex with reports of an injured person.

The person, James, had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. Responders provided emergency medical treatment, but the teenager, unfortunately, passed away from the injury.

In a statement released by Chesapeake Police Public Information Officer Leo Kosinski, it was said that James was with another adult male, and the two “were handling a handgun when it went off, ultimately killing the victim,” according to the Ozark Independent.

Isiaih Mosley, a current freshman at Missouri State, took to Twitter following the news talking about James, who would have been his teammate next season:

Former MSU player Tyem Freeman also added that he “had a chance to meet the guy on his visit, seemed like he was gonna be a great fit and was a good kid.”

Elizabeth Warren Drops Out of 2020 Race for President After Failing to Win Any Early Primary States

Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren is dropping out of the 2020 presidential race, CNN reports.

Warren—whose bid was centered around a promise to wipe out corruption in Washington—failed to win any of the early primary states, so this news is far from surprising.

She announced her decision to end her Democratic campaign on a staff call Thursday morning.

“I wanted you all to hear it first, and I wanted you to hear it straight from me: Today, I’m suspending our campaign for president,” Warren said.

She continued: “I know that when we set out, this was not the call you ever wanted to hear. It is not the call I ever wanted to make. But I refuse to let disappointment blind me—or you—to what we’ve accomplished.

“We didn’t reach our goal, but what we have done together—what you have done—has made a lasting difference. It’s not the scale of the difference we wanted to make, but it matters—and the changes will have ripples for years to come.”

Warren’s exit officially leaves former Vice President Joe Biden and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders as the final two contenders for the Democratic nomination.

Warren’s departure follows those of Senator Amy Klobuchar, former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg, and former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who have all endorsed Biden.

Warren hasn’t said if she’ll endorse Biden or Sanders yet.

Nicki Minaj’s Husband Kenneth Petty Arrested, Indicted for Failing to Register As a Sex Offender

Nicki Minaj’s husband has been arrested by U.S. Marshals on an indictment after he failed to register as a sex offender.

TMZ reports that Kenneth Petty was placed into federal custody Wednesday (Mar. 4) after he turned himself in to the Marshals. He’ll stand before a judge later today, according to court docs.

As was previously reported, Petty’s criminal record includes a 1995 conviction for first-degree attempted rape. He spent nearly four years in New York state prison for the crime and was required to register as a sex offender.

Petty’s recent legal troubles started in November 2019 when he got pulled over in Beverly Hills. He’d just moved to the area back in July, around the time he and Nicki applied for their marriage license.

After police determined Petty was a registered sex offender in New York but not in California, as required, he was arrested and charged for failing to register as a sex offender. He was eventually released on a $20K bond.

Even after that arrest, Petty still did not register as a sex offender in the state of California, which brought on the federal indictment.

If he’s convicted on the federal charge for failing to register, he’ll face up to 10 years in prison.

NeNe Leakes Laughs Off, But Stays Mum on “Big Secret” Wendy Williams Teased On-Air: “I Know What She Meant & I Will Never Share It”

Back in January, Wendy Williams shocked Real Housewives of Atlanta fans when she reported that NeNe Leakes had just texted her that she was quitting the Bravo show.

Later during the broadcast, Williams begged Nene not to quit and began to cry as she revealed that NeNe had a secret that would make her RHOA co-stars and haters sympathize and rally around her.

While NeNe quickly responded on social media that she didn’t know what Williams was talking about and her team denied that she’s quitting RHOA, NeNe is now sharing her take on the issue that nearly derailed her newfound friendship with the talk show host.

“That was a private conversation and it should have stayed private,” NeNe told People on Tuesday (Mar. 3).

But NeNe doesn’t have any beef with the daytime gossiper. “Wendy is so funny,” NeNe said.

“And so I called her, and Wendy, now let me tell you, she knew immediately she had f**ked up. She was like, ‘Um … what do I need to do? Do I need to call [Andy Cohen]? Do I need to meet you at a restaurant with the camera? I will come on the show to fix this! Are you upset? Please don’t be upset with me!’

“I said, ‘First of all, I’m not mad with you,’ and she said, ‘Okay, good, okay girl’ and changed the subject so fast. Like it never happened. She just turned it around! And I was like, ‘Okay, you have tried it.'”

And what about the big secret that brought Wendy Williams to tears?

NeNe said:

“I know what she meant, and I will never share it.”

“I don’t even know why she even made it sound like that. It’s nothing serious. It’s not even that serious,” she added.

NeNe reiterated that her marriage and kids are all fine and that she’s not battling a secret illness.

“[S]o y’all can just stop trying to poke around and figure it out, because it’s not worth your time,” she said.

NeNe and Williams have recently developed a friendship. The two—along with Marlo Hampton—had lunch and shopped at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City over the weekend.

Williams even made an appearance on the most recent Real Housewives of Atlanta episode when NeNe sought Williams’ advice via phone call on how to play nice with Kenya Moore and the other ladies during their cast trip to Greece.

“We have fun together,” Nene told People. “Wendy, that’s my girl. She just gets me.”

10-Year-Old Boy Arrested & Charged With Class 5 Felony for Playing Fortnite Outside With Nerf Gun

How many times have kids been told that they need to get off their phones and go outside to play? Well, when a 10-year-old Colorado boy did just that, he ended up getting arrested and charged with a class 5 felony.

Back in July of 2019, Gavin Carpenter and a friend were killing time as they waited to go to a sleepover when they decided to use broken Nerf guns to play outside as their favorite Fortnite characters.

While they were playing, they pointed the guns—which didn’t even have Nerf ammo in them—at “5 or 10” passing cars, Carpenter told authorities.

One of those drivers wasn’t happy about this, though, and he quickly slammed on his brakes and followed the two frightened children to Carpenter’s grandparents’ house.

It was there that the man proceeded to berate the children and adults with an expletive-laden rant. When asked to watch his mouth around the children, the man responded by saying: “How about I call the f**king cops?”

And that’s exactly what he did. Not long after, police officers arrived on the scene and proceeded to place the 10-year-old boy into handcuffs, take him down to the Colorado Springs Police station, take his mugshot and charge him with a felony of menacing.

The news only recently broke because, after seven long months, the charges have finally been expunged from Carpenter’s record.

In a long Facebook post, Carpenter’s mother, Stefanie, shared the ordeal that has left her son “terrified of law enforcement now.”

https://www.facebook.com/stefanie.carpenter2/posts/10218947513411249

Despite it only being an unloaded Nerf gun, authorities told KOAA News5 that, “there are times when it would be appropriate to charge menacing when a toy gun is involved. If someone knowingly places someone in fear of serious bodily injury or death, menacing would be appropriate.”

So in order to avoid having a felony permanently on his record, Carpenter had to go through a diversion program that required him to complete community service hours and submit his grades to the court to review.

The incident has soured the Carpenters on living in Colorado despite once thinking it would be the state where they ultimately settle down. Now, though, they can’t wait to leave, but they have to wait a few more months until Carpenters father, who is a lieutenant colonel in the Army, is sent to another post.

“Unfortunately, our whole family has honestly lost respect,” Stefanie said on Facebook. “I thought Colorado would be the state that we came back to as a family…but after all of this it is confirmed we do not want to EVER come back to this state.”

Vegan Jogger Roasted Online After Asking Neighbors to Not Cook Meat Outside & Close Windows When Cooking Indoors

I’m going to start by saying not all vegans are annoying people, and many choose that lifestyle for a variety of reasons and simply go about it in silence.

Now that that’s out of the way, one unidentified California runner really takes the (vegan) cake for being the stereotypical we all know and hate.

On Friday (Feb. 28), the Twitter account Best of Nextdoor posted a message that was sent to a Berkley neighborhood from an anonymous jogger.

Anyone who received the message should’ve known it was going to be incredibly irksome simply from the opening line which reads, “What’s up neighborhood, one love…”

What follows was worse than you’re probably thinking right now. The unidentified vegan runner basically asks the entire neighborhood to accommodate their needs because the person “noticed a sharp uptick recently in smells of folks cooking meat and it can be quite overpowering.”

Because the “odor is offensive” to the jogger, they asked that people keep their windows closed whenever they are cooking meat and to only use their outdoor grills for vegetables.

It’s OK, though, because they ended it by saying, “I don’t want to be a stereotype so I won’t go into detail on why the odor of cooking animals is offensive.” Wow, thanks a bunch.

The note also invited the neighborhood to join the movement, and sure enough, a bunch of people online did. Just not in the movement this plant-based runner was hoping.

Countless people have jumped online to slam the vegan and their ridiculous and insulting request:

Again, it needs to be said that not all vegans are quite literally the worst, and ones like this person aren’t doing the cause any good and deserve, as @5BeersFromNow so eloquently put it…

Drone Footage Captures Destructive Path of Deadly Tornado in Nashville That Killed Over 20 People & Injured Hundreds More

Early Tuesday morning (Mar. 3), a tornado ripped through central Tennessee, touching down in Nashville and leaving behind a wake of destruction.

The extreme storm led to the deaths of at least 22 people across four counties, injured several others, toppled at least 45 buildings in Nashville, and left 50,000 households and businesses without power.

It’s the highest death toll caused by a tornado in the United States since 23 people were killed in Alabama exactly one year prior.

Drone footage captured some of the damage in Nashville that has left many parts of the city unrecognizable, and pictures continue to pour in showing the devastation.

Governor Bill Lee declared a state of emergency, and President Trump said he would be visiting the state later this week.

“I want to send my warm wishes to the great people of Tennessee in the wake of the horrible, very vicious tornado,” he said at the National Association of Counties Legislative Conference.

The carnage comes as residents prepare for the upcoming primaries election on Super Tuesday, and it has left officials scrambling to ensure that residents are able to cast their votes at the polls.

Reactions have been pouring in via social media as the news of this tragic storm continues to spread.

Old Lady Gang “RHOA” Spinoff Set to Begin Production Just One Month Following Restaurant Shooting

Kandi Burruss’ Old Lady Gang is expanding once again, this time to television.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Georgia film office has greenlit production of a new show based on Kandi and husband Todd Tucker’s Old Lady Gang restaurants.

Documented on Real Housewives of Atlanta from concept to grand opening, the couple opened the flagship location in 2016, with the menu inspired by the family recipes of Kandi’s mother, Joyce Jones and Mama Joyce’s sisters, Nora and Bertha.

The restaurant’s popularity has led to two other OLG locations.

Bravo has not released any details on the show or a premiere date. All we know that is production has commenced or will begin soon.

And there’s likely to be lots of drama to fuel the show. On Valentine’s Day, a gunman opened fire in one of the OLG locations, targeting one individual, but also injuring two other people during the shooting.

All three victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries and police are still looking for the suspect.

Though it’s unclear if Old Lady Gang will focus on the employees of the flagship location or document the expansion of the business, the concept sounds very similar to former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant spin-off, Vanderpump Rules.

Vanderpump Rules is now in its eighth season and has aired 146 episodes. The show and its stars remain popular despite Lisa quitting RHOBH last year.

Old Lady Gang will be Kandi’s fourth Real Housewives of Atlanta spin-off and her fifth project with Bravo.

Alabama Elementary Teacher Charged with Having Sex With Student, 2nd Teacher in School District Charged Within a Year

An Alabama elementary school teacher has been charged with two felonies for having sex with a high school student.

22-year-old Catherine Lynn Coffey was arrested on Friday (Feb. 28) and charged with one count of being a school employee engaging in a sex act with a student and engaging sexual contact with a student younger than 19.

Coffey is a resource teacher at Madison County Elementary School and an assistant softball coach at Madison High School, where the alleged victim attends.

Police became aware of the sexual relationship between Coffey and the student on Feb. 24. Authorities interviewed the student and Coffey was arrested by the end of the week.

Coffey is accused of having sex with the student between August and December of 2019.

She has been placed on administrative leave by Madison County Schools and was released from police custody on a $31,000 bond.

Coffey faces up to 30 years in prison and will be listed on the sex offender registry if convicted on both charges.

Coffey is the second teacher connected to Madison County High School to be charged for having sexual contact with a student within the past year.

In April 2019, Lyndsey Bates, 23, was charged with engaging in a sex act with a student, having sexual contact with a student, and 3 counts of distributing obscene material to a student (via sexting).

She had recently resigned as a teacher at Madison County High School at the time of her arrest.

Bates pleaded guilty to the charges in January 2020 and was sentenced to 3 years of probation and required to register as a sex offender for the remainder of her life.

The Madison County School System declined to comment on the two teacher-student sexual misconduct cases when contacted by local news station WHNT News 19.

Post Malone Says He Got All of His Face Tattoos Because He’s Insecure About His Looks: “I’m an Ugly-Ass Mothaf**ka”

A trend among the new generation of singers and rappers is face tattoos.

While some may choose to get tatted in the most visible place on the body to look cool, Post Malone has revealed the deeper reason behind his many face tattoos.

In his GQ Style cover story released on Monday (Mar. 2), Post opened up about his struggles with insecurity and confidence.

“I’m an ugly-ass mothaf**ka,” he said.

“[The tattoos] maybe come from a place of insecurity, to where I don’t like how I look, so I’m going to put something cool on there so I can look at myself and say, ‘You look cool, kid,’ and have a modicum of self-confidence when it comes to my appearance.”

The singer has several tattoos on his face which include a bloody buzz saw, a knife, playing cards, tree branches, a heart, a Playboy bunny, and several words just to name a few.

The 24-year-old also openly talked about his mental health issues during adolescence which led to him drinking alcohol at a young age.

“Middle school, I would cry myself to sleep every f**kin’ day. High school, the same thing. I tried to drink some beers to get rid of that sh*t, but it just never goes away. And I don’t think that’s anybody’s fault; it has to do with something predisposed in you.”

He also reflected how he could have passed away at a young age like his music peers Mac Miller, Lil Peep, and Juice WRLD.

Post Malone plans to begin recording new music after wrapping up the current North American leg of his Runaway Tour.

Coronavirus Patient From China Went to North Star Mall in San Antonio for 2 Hours Before Returning to Quarantine

A woman who evacuated Wuhan, China and tested positive for the coronavirus in San Antonio, Texas was released from quarantine over the weekend after federal officials believed she was in the clear.

However, officials said Monday (Mar. 2) in a news conference that the woman was returned to isolation after testing “weakly positive” for the virus, and while she was out of treatment for around 12 hours, she went to a local mall and hotel.

According to officials, the woman met the criteria for release after testing negative to the virus twice.

The tests were administered more than 24 hours apart, however, a separate lab test that was pending when she was released revealed a positive test result, officials said (via KSAT).

After the woman was initially released from quarantine, officials said she checked into a Holiday Inn hotel. From there, she took a hotel shuttle to North Star Mall, one of the busiest retail outlets in the region, and stayed there between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.

Officials said the woman was simply “browsing” and spent very little time in stores or talking to anyone, adding that she spent the majority of her time eating alone in the mall’s food court.

Kurian said every person the patient may have come in contact with was deemed “low risk” of contracting the virus, with the exception of two healthcare workers.

“We are making every effort to identify any exposures at the mall and based on what we have at this time, those exposures are pretty low risk,” the Metropolitan Health District’s assistant director Anita Kurian said.

Mall and hotel officials were notified of the exposure, and Kurian recommended that they thoroughly clean both locations, making sure to wipe down all surfaces with disinfectants.

More via San Antonio Express-News:

Thus far, Metro Health has identified 18 people at the Texas Center for Infectious Disease and three people at the hotel as potential exposures. They are all considered low risk except for two health workers at TCID who were in contact with the evacuee and are considered “medium risk.”

The patient had been in isolation while being treated in a San Antonio medical facility for several weeks after being flown from Wuhan, China, to the United States aboard a State Department-chartered plane.

She was the only one of the initial 91 evacuees from Wuhan who tested positive for the coronavirus.

“At the time of discharge from the facility, the patient was asymptomatic and met all of CDC’s criteria for release — resolution of any symptoms and two consecutive sets of negative test results, collected more than 24 hours apart,” officials for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Sunday.

“Following the patient’s release, results of a subsequent sample were received and determined to be weakly positive. Out of an abundance of caution, CDC decided to bring the individual back into isolation at a local medical facility.”

Mayor Ron Nirenberg emphasized that the 122 evacuees from the Diamond Princess cruise ship who were scheduled to be released Monday should not be allowed to leave quarantine until they test negative for a third time.

“As mayor of this city, I find it totally unacceptable the CDC would release a patient prior to receiving all test results and potentially expose the public to this harm,” Nirenberg said.

Nirenberg added: “We simply cannot have a screwup like this from our federal partners.”

City officials are currently discussing ways to update the protocol set by officials to make sure that people in quarantine pose no threat to the community once they are released.

According to Worldometers.info, there were more than 90,000 coronavirus cases worldwide at the time this article was published, with most of them (more than 80,000) in China.

As of now, there are nearly 42,000 active cases worldwide, with 34,000 in mild condition and nearly 7,400 in serious or critical condition. More than 45,000 people have recovered, and so far, a little over 3,000 people have died.

As for the United States, the CDC says there are 43 total cases, with 17 people hospitalized. So far, there have been two reported deaths in the U.S.

“Judge Judy” is Ending After 25 Seasons

As the old saying goes, “All good things must come to an end.” After 25 years on the air, CBS will no longer air new episodes of popular courtroom reality show Judge Judy starting in 2021.

Host Judy Sheindlin made the announcement during a pre-taped appearance on Ellen, which will air Monday (Mar. 2). She said the show’s upcoming 25th season will be its last on CBS.

“I’ve had a 25-year-long marriage with CBS, and it’s been successful. Next year will be our 25th season, silver anniversary,” the iconic TV judge said in a teaser clip from Monday’s episode.

According to Sheindlin, CBS decided to end the show so that they could make money from reruns.

CBS bought the rights for the entire Judge Judy episode library back in 2017, and Sheindlin, who rakes in $47 million a year, is currently the highest-paid TV personality. So, from a financial standpoint, it all makes sense.

“CBS, I think, sort of felt, they wanted to optimally utilize the repeats of my program, because now they have 25 years of reruns,” she said. “So what they decided to do was to sell a couple of years’ worth of reruns.”

Judge Judy fans need not worry though, because even though that show is over, 77-year-old Sheindlin says she is “not tired” and teased that a new show called Judy Justice will be coming out next year, though she declined to say where it will air.

“I can’t tell you yet,” Sheindlin told Ellen.

Forbes named Judy Sheindlin 2018’s highest-paid TV host after she sold the rights to Judge Judy‘s extensive library to CBS for an estimated $100 million in 2017.

Man Seen on Video Fighting Girlfriend, Sister & Brother-in-Law in Disneyland’s Toontown Sentenced to 6 Months in Prison

The man who was seen on video fighting family members—including his own girlfriend, sister and brother-in-law—at Disneyland’s Toontown last summer has been sentenced to six months in jail after pleading guilty to the charges stemming from the incident.

35-year-old Avery Robinson of Las Vegas pleaded guilty on Thursday (Feb. 27) to a felony count of corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, and a whopping thirteen misdemeanor counts relating to assault, criminal threats, battery and child abuse and endangerment, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.

Prosecutors said Robinson’s sentence also includes four years of formal probation, eight hours of community service, and he’s also been ordered to complete a 12-month batterer’s treatment program and pay restitution.

Anaheim police were called to the Toontown area of Disneyland on July 5th, 2019 to help break up a fight that initially involved two siblings (Robinson and his sister), but had since escalated to include other relatives who were part of their group, investigators said.

The brawl happened in plain view of other park guests, including children (some of whom were part of the group) and was caught on a 4-minute video that quickly went viral on social media.

Just as the video starts, someone can be heard talking about disrespecting family, and you see a woman spit on a guy wearing a pink shirt (Robinson), and chaos quickly ensued.

Things got so bad that an older woman with a mobility scooter (later revealed to be Robinson’s mother) was knocked to the ground and random people started grabbing the children with the family, some of whom were crying in their strollers, to take them to safety.

“The little kids are trying to get the attention of their parents. You could see they’re distraught. That’s why we also filed child endangerment,” District Attorney Todd Spitzer told KTLA.

The viral footage showed everyone throwing punches and hitting each other and hair being pulled, with four people primarily involved, including Robinson’s girlfriend, who wasn’t charged with anything and appeared to be a victim, according to the footage, which showed Robinson hitting her in the face.

Family members and bystanders alike tried to intervene and break up the fight, while other parkgoers called for help from Disneyland security. By the time park officials arrived, Robinson had already been subdued by the crowd.

At one point in the footage, Robinson could be heard referencing a Southern California gang and shouting “I’m ready to go to jail tonight!”

After Robinson and his family were kicked out of the park, Robinson allegedly threatened to kill a relative when they drove out of the parking lot, and a Disneyland cast member also accused him of assaulting them with his car.

When Robinson and his family were contacted by Anaheim police, they denied being involved in a fight, but the video—which had millions of views on various social media platforms—proved otherwise, prompting police to investigate further.

The case was eventually turned over to the District Attorney’s office, which charged Robinson and two others in connection with the incident.

Robinson’s older sister, Andrea Robinson (the woman in the white tank top) of Compton, was charged with four misdemeanor counts of battery and one count of assault.

Andrea’s husband, Daman Petrie, (the guy in the white shirt) also of Compton, was also involved in the fight and was charged with misdemeanor battery.

“Bring It!” Dance Coach Sentenced to 9 Months in Prison for Raping Teen Boy & Exposing Him to HIV

A dance teacher from Memphis, Tennessee who appeared on a reality TV show was sentenced to nine months in prison Friday (Feb. 28) for raping a teenage student and exposing him to HIV.

30-year-old John Conner III was also ordered to serve four years of probation after he’s released from prison, and he’ll also be required to register as a sex offender for life.

Police said Conner met a 16-year-old boy on social media in 2015 and met up with the teen on several occasions to have unprotected sex in Conner’s car.

Authorities said Conner, who was diagnosed as HIV positive in 2012, failed to disclose his HIV status to the minor.

Conner and the teen also exchanged text messages containing nude photos and discussing their sexual activity, police said.

The teen eventually joined Conner’s dance team, the Infamous Dancerettes, but it wasn’t until several months after their first sexual encounter that the teen found out from someone else that Conner was HIV positive.

The teen then finally revealed the abuse to his parents and said he needed to go to the doctor to be tested, and the results came back that he was HIV positive.

Conner was arrested in September 2016 and charged with criminal exposure to HIV, statutory rape by an authority figure and solicitation of a minor. He pleaded guilty to the charges in November 2019.

According to reports, he also has two similar cases pending involving sexual partners who were 17 and 24.

John Conner III and his predominantly female dance team, the Infamous Dancerettes, appeared on the Lifetime series Bring It! He went by the name “Coach John” on the show and is also known by the names “Lil John” and “Jay John.”

Ray J & Princess Love Living Separately Following Vegas Debacle, But Divorce is NOT Being Discussed

Ray J and Princess Love are doing what is best for their family and their marriage. And right now, that means living apart.

A source tells TMZ that Ray and Princess have been living separately since Princess publicly accused Ray of leaving her and their 1-year-old daughter “stranded” in Las Vegas back in November.

Princess was also eight months pregnant with the couple’s second child at the time. She gave birth to their son, Epik, in December.

TMZ reports that Princess is currently living in a luxury Beverly Hills condo with the kids, while Ray is staying in a nearby bachelor pad with the family’s dogs (Ed. Note: Which means he’s literally living in the dog house.)

But here’s the thing: the new living arrangement is helping their relationship.

Via TMZ:

We’re told they’re getting along fine now … doing family stuff together with no drama or arguing. This includes over the holidays…

As for the potential threat of divorce … our sources say there’s zero talk of that currently, and they’re using the time apart to focus on themselves and being good parents. Princess, we’re told, is very happy with the current set up.

The couple even spent Valentine’s Day together. Ray covered his apartment in 2,000 roses for Princess and Melody.

Princess also celebrated the romantic day by sharing a photo of her red dress. “Special girl. Real good girl,” she wrote, which Ray responded to with a devil emoji.

Ray J and Princess started dating in 2013 and tied the knot 2016. They share two children together.

Milwaukee Molson Coors Shooter Regularly Carried Guns With Him & Spouted Conspiracy Theories

The city of Milwaukee was shocked by a tragic shooting that took place Wednesday (Feb. 27) at the Molson Coors brewery.

Five workers were killed before the shooter took his own life, and now details are emerging on the killer and his possible motivations.

The gunman, identified as 51-year-old Anthony Ferrill, had been an employee at that Molson Coors campus for 17 years, working as an electrician.

During his tenure with the company that owns popular beer brands such as Coors Light, Miller Lite, and Blue Moon, Ferrill claimed that he was a victim of racial discrimination and had regular disputes with at least one of his co-workers.

A different co-worker speaking to the media countered the racism claims, however, saying that Ferrill regularly watched movies on his phone while on the clock, which was the real source of the feuds with his fellow electrician.

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the arguments between the two got so intense they accused each other of stealing tools and tampering with computer equipment in their respective offices. Ferrill even believed that his home computer was bugged by his co-workers.

It’s not clear what sparked the shooting that put over 1,000 workers at risk, but police officers responded to the scene and spent hours clearing out the more than 20 buildings in the complex.

The news came as a shock to many who knew Ferrill.

One co-worker, Keith Giese, told reporters that Ferrill seemed fine just a week ago, saying: “I never had a clue. I talked to him a couple of days ago and he seemed fine to me. I had no idea that there was a problem, that somebody could snap like that.”

Neighbors also expressed their confusion, including 82-year-old Erna Roenspies (pictured above).

“He was like a son to me,” she said as she spoke to the media. “I don’t know what triggered this. Let’s pray for everyone.”

For others, the news, while sad, was not a complete shock.

Following claims by Ferrill that people were breaking into his home, one co-worked joked that they should put an “aluminum hat” on him, and neighbors said that he was known to regularly carry guns on him.

Ferrill is survived by his wife and daughter, and a vigil for the victims is being held at a local church a few miles away from the campus where the shooting took place.

Bullied 9-Year-Old Quaden Bayles Turns Down Disneyland Trip, Will Donate Nearly $500K to Charity Instead

Last week, a heartbreaking video that showed a young Australian boy who lives with dwarfism crying after being bullied went viral across the globe.

In the original video, which has since been taken down, Quaden Bayles is seen crying and telling his mother to “give me a knife, I want to kill myself.”

His mother, Yarraka, can be heard delivering a message to parents, teachers, and educators:

“This is what bullying does. So can you please educate your children, your family, your friends, because all it takes is for one more instance, and you wonder why kids are killing themselves.”

As the video made its way around social media, Quaden quickly started receiving outpourings of support.

Actor Hugh Jackman sent him a personal video, he led an Australian rugby team onto the field at CBUS Stadium, and American Comedian Brad Williams, who also has dwarfism, set up a GoFundMe campaign with the goal of sending Quaden and his family to Disneyland.

With so much global support, that campaign did much more than raise enough money for the trip.

With donors from numerous countries, Williams was able to raise almost $500,000 for the Bayles family. However, they have decided not to use the money to take their son on a trip.

Instead, they’ll use that money to support a number of local organizations and charities.

Quaden’s aunt, Mundanara Bayles, told NITV: “This little fellow has been bullied. How many suicides, black or white, in our society have happened due to bullying?”

She went on to say: “We want the money to go to community organizations that really need it. As much as we want to go to Disneyland, I think our community would far off benefit from that.”

The family would like to give the money to two charities in particular: Dwarfism Awareness Australia and the Balunu Healing Foundation.

However, since GoFundMe’s terms state that all donated funds must be used “solely for the purpose you have stated on and in connection with your campaign,” the Bayles family is currently working with Williams to find a way to get this money to these charities.
