Longtime Friends Find Out They’re Actually Brothers Thanks to a Cancer Diagnosis & 23andMe

Imagine a cancer diagnosis leads you to take a commercialized genetic test only to discover one of your closest friends is your half-sibling.

It may sound like the plot of a feel-good Hallmark movie, but it’s the true story of longtime friends, Walter Gordy III and Mark Tolson.

The friends/brothers and their mothers appeared on the Today show to share their incredible story.

Five years ago, Gordy, was diagnosed with lymphoma after doctors found a lump on his neck. He then used a 23andMe kit to learn more about his medical history.

Other than learning his African and European ancestry, there wasn’t anything out of the ordinary from the results.

But a few years later, Gordy’s received a call from his close friend, Tolson, that changed his life forever.

“I said, ‘Man, I’ve been knowing you for 12 years. Are you telling me we’re brothers?'” Gordy—an only child (or so he thought)—recalled upon learning the shocking news from his friend-turned-half-brother.

Raised by a single mother, Tolson took the test to learn more about his paternal ancestry. When he received the results and viewed his potential DNA relatives, he was floored.

“It popped up and said Walt Gordy III and I was like ‘Mom, I know him!'” Tolson recalled. “Thirty-five years later, I find out I have a brother. So that’s pretty amazing to me,” he said.

It turns out Gordy and Tolson’s mothers were both artificially inseminated by the same donor in the early 80s.

But the story gets even wilder. The newfound brothers’ mothers not only know each other, but they have been singing in the same church choir for the past 13 years. Neither had a clue that their sons were biologically related.

“We’ve always prayed that he would find that fraternal part of him,” said Booker Lynn Graves, Gordy’s mother.

“And we truly look at it as a blessing from God because our prayers were answered. It’s just a beautiful joy to both of them that they have one another the rest of their lives.”

Added Tolson’s mother: “It’s a very wonderful feeling to know that he has found someone that he can lean on who’s of his own blood.”

Gordy and Tolson have continued to build their relationship as brothers, including spending quality time together while Tolson’s home is rented out through Airbnb.

Gordy is now cancer-free but is thankful that the disease led him to his brother.

“Cancer was the best thing that ever happened to me because I was able to find a blessing in the end,” Gordy said.

Ohio Rapper Q Money Turns Himself In to Police After Being Wanted for Murder

Ohio rapper Q Money turned himself in to police Thursday (Apr. 18) after reports surfaced that he was wanted for murder in Georgia in connection with the shooting death of another Cleveland area rapper.

According to jail records, 23-year-old Qamar Williams was booked into the Dekalb County Jail around 3:25 p.m. Thursday on a felony murder charge.

Williams is accused of shooting 24-year-old Calvin Chappell in the head around 8:30 am. Monday at the home of Chappell’s cousin in Decatur, which is about 10 miles outside Atlanta.

A man who lived in the apartment where Chappell was shot told police he heard a gunshot, grabbed his gun and ran downstairs.

He told police he saw Williams with a gun in his hand standing over Chappell’s body, and when he asked Williams what happened, Williams only stuttered “I” several times.

According to the police report, the man ran upstairs and woke up his roommate, Chappell’s cousin, and told him that “Q had done something.”

When the two men went downstairs to confront Williams, they took his gun from him, forced him out of the house, and locked the door behind him. The men then called a friend, who showed up with a gun, police said.

Officers found Chappell face down in the living room near several bullet casings, and they also recovered two guns from the kitchen.

Chappell’s cousin told police that Chappell had been staying at his apartment for about three or four days.

The police report also stated that the home was equipped with working surveillance cameras.

Williams, known by his rap name Q Money, became popular with the release of his song “Work,” which has nearly 9 million views on YouTube.

Q reportedly signed a record deal last year with Warner Bros. and Think It’s A Game Records.

He also just released a song back in February called “Neat,” which features a plethora of rappers, including Young Dolph, YFN Lucci, PeeWee Longway, G Herbo, and Flipp Dinero.

People who know Q Money were surprised by the accusations that he shot and killed someone.

“He had a little temper on him, but not nothing like that. I ain’t never heard of him doing anything violent,” Twon Kash told Cleveland19.com.

This is not the rapper’s first run-in with the law.

Since getting signed last year, Williams has had several run-ins with police, including an incident last summer on the set of a video shoot in which gunfire erupted, leaving six people significantly wounded and one person dead. Charges were reportedly dropped against the men involved.

Brandy & Monica Are Finally Going on Tour Together After 20 Years of Feuding

Have Brandy and Monica finally buried the hatchet? In an unexpected twist, the two have reportedly put their differences aside and will go tour together later the summer, in the name of women empowerment.

Live Nation Urban announced dates for its “Femme It Forward” tour. Surprisingly, Brandy and Monica are slated to perform three dates together in Los Angeles, Dallas, and Concord, CA.

The 90s R&B queens will perform alongside artists such as Ashanti, Mya, Keri Hilson, and Lil Mo.

“Femme It Forward” is an all-female series featuring concerts, panels, and comedy shows. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to organizations aimed toward the advancement of women.

Brandy and Monica have had a much-documented feud for over two decades, dating back to their hit 1998 collaboration “The Boy is Mine.”

It’s believed the beef was sparked when Monica became upset Brandy performed the song solo on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Monica retaliated by titling her 2nd album The Boy is Mine and releasing the song as the album’s lead single.

Since then, the two have thrown jabs back and forth, with Brandy mostly harboring the strongest feelings.

In recent years, Brandy had repeatedly thrown shade Monica’s way, has relentlessly stated her relationship with Whitney Houston was stronger than Monica’s, posted odd videos many felt were aimed toward her former duet partner, and also mocked the viral #SoGoneChallenge, which was inspired by Monica’s hit single “So Gone.”

And to make it clear why Brandy is in her feelings, during her set at Essence Festival last year, she changed the lyrics of The Boy is Mine to “the song is mine.”

The R&B rivals did momentarily reunite as adults in 2012 to record another duet, “It All Belongs to Me.” However, the mea culpa was short-lived, as the two fell out over promotion for the single and their planned joint tour was canceled.

Brandy did give Monica a positive shout out earlier this year, though.

She posted a still from “The Boy is Mine” video with Monica during Black History Month. “#Powerful Women,” she wrote on the Instagram post, which also included two crowns.

Honestly, we thought we’d never see the day: Monica and Brandy have finally put all the drama behind them! Or, at least, we hope so. Their first tour date isn’t scheduled until July.

Lil Yachty Wrote Most of “Act Up” By City Girls: “I Wrote the Whole Song Except for J.T.’s Last Verse”

The next time you’re turning up to City Girls’ “Act Up,” make sure you thank Lil Yachty for creating the smash hit.

During a recent interview with social media influencer Kerwin Frost, the “Broccoli” rapper revealed that, aside from JT’s closing verse, he “wrote the whole song.”

“One day I was in the studio with my best friend Earl and he played the beat and said ‘write something for City Girls’ and I was like ‘okay.’ And I just did it,” he said.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRgiceL_0BM?start=1764

Yachty is credited on the track alongside its producer EarlThePearl and City Girls member Jatavia “J.T.” Johnson (City Girls’ other member, Caresha “Yung Miami” Brownlee, doesn’t have a writing credit), but he wants people to know that the majority of the song’s lyrics came from him.

“[People] said ‘he might have said one thing in the studio and they credit him.’ I wrote the whole song, except J.T.’s last verse,” Yachty said. “But everything that everyone is singing, I wrote the whole thing.”

Yachty, who is signed to Quality Control along with City Girls, went on to explain his writing process.

“I just thought like them. I know them personally, and I know what women like to hear,” he added. “What’s some like, raunchy sh*t? I just started saying it, and before I went in the booth I said ‘no homo, y’all’ because all my boys was in the room. And I started saying crazy sh*t. But I came out and I was like, ‘Y’all watch, this is about to blow up.”

And Lil Yachty’s prediction was correct.

“Act Up” is currently in its sixth week on the Billboard Hot 100, rising to a new high of No. 40 this week. Though the song has yet to top the duo’s Cardi B collaboration “Twerk,” it’s already City Girls’ highest-charting single without a feature.

Yachty said that this is his first time writing a song for another artist.

“I always wanted to write a song for somebody. And I did it, and when it blew up I felt so good,” he said. “Because people always try to discredit me. So when I seen it, I realized now I get my credit a different way.”

Since then, he said he’s working on more songs for other artists that are coming out soon.

“That’s something that I’m getting into now,” he said. “I’m about to start doing writing camps for different producers. I write sh*t all the time… I can think like other people. That was a real fun experience for me, and it was most fun when it leaked to the public. I spent a few days just reading people’s responses, because I didn’t speak on it, I didn’t say anything.”

Dave East Dragged on Twitter After Calling “Old Town Road” Wack

For the second week in a row, “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X is the #1 song in the country, and New York rapper Dave East couldn’t care less, because according to him, the song is “super wack.”

East said in a video shared to his Instagram stories

“This f**kin’ ‘Old Town Road’ sh*t is f**kin’ wack. I don’t know what the f**k is going on with hip-hop or rap but … that sh*t is wack with a cape on it. It’s super wack.”

While everyone is certainly entitled to their opinions, Twitter was not here for the slander against Lil Nas X and “Old Town Road” and promptly commenced to drag Mr. East.

“Name me 5 good Dave East songs,” one person tweeted. “I’ll wait. I promise I’ll wait. I’ll wait all day honestly.”

Said another: “Dave East hasn’t created one song that’s better than Old Town Road. Opinion is voided.”

More below:

Not everyone was against Dave East though. In fact, some people agreed with East and took up for him.

Lil Nas X has yet to respond directly, but he did post this video on Twitter of Kevin Hart talking about how it’s “cool to be negative” not too long after Dave East’s comments went viral

Kodak Black Hides Behind a Bunch of $100 Bills As He’s Released From Jail on $20K Cash Bond After Drugs & Weapons Arrest at U.S. Border

In the words of T.I., Kodak Black was released from jail “quickly, expeditiously.”

After getting arrested Wednesday (Apr. 17) at the U.S.-Canada Border on drug and weapon possession charges, a judge allowed the rapper to post a $20,000 cash bond Thursday in exchange for his freedom, TMZ reports.

WKBW News was at the Niagara County Jail when Kodak was released, and the rapper hid his face from the cameras behind a wad of cash as fans followed him around and took selfies with him.

Kodak’s team was forced to cancel a concert last night in Boston due to the rapper’s arrest earlier in the day, and his fans—who waited outside for hours because no one knew were Kodak was at the time—were pissed.

New York State Police said Kodak Black, whose real name is “Bill Kapri” (he changed it from his birth name, Dieuson Octave, last May) and three other men were attempting to enter the United States via the Lewiston-Queenston International Bridge when they were detained at the border for weapon and drug possession.

Police said they found marijuana and an undeclared Glock 9mm pistol in the Cadillac Escalade the 21-year-old rapper was driving at the time.

There was also a Porsche traveling with Kodak’s team with three other people, and the driver of that vehicle declared two loaded handguns, but didn’t declare a third that was found by police in the trunk.

Police also said they found more marijuana in the Porsche, and everyone in the vehicle—22-year-old Jeantony Saintmelus (the driver), 24-year-old Stetson President and 20-year-old Madarrow Smith (the passengers)—was arrested.

Saintmelus, President and Smith were all charged with criminal possession of a weapon, while Saintmelus was hit with an additional marijuana possession charge.

Kodak shouldn’t get too excited about his freedom though, because not only does the State of New York NOT play when it comes to gun charges, the trial for his criminal first-degree criminal sexual conduct charge is scheduled to begin in the summer or fall … and the judge over that case is probably going to look at this latest arrest with a huge side-eye.

G Herbo Arrested in Atlanta & Charged With Battery for Allegedly Assaulting His Baby Mama Ari, Who is Pregnant With Gervonta Davis’ Baby

Chicago rapper G Herbo was arrested in Atlanta Wednesday (Apr. 17) after getting into an argument with his baby mama, Ariana Fletcher, that allegedly turned physical.

According to TMZ, police said Herbo (real name: Herbert Wright) and Ari got into a shouting match Wednesday morning, but at some point, Herbo physically assaulted Ari.

Police said Herbo then fled the location with their son, but later returned, and after speaking with officers, he was arrested for simple battery.

Police said Ariana sustained minor scratches as a result of the altercation, though it’s unclear what triggered the alleged assault.

Herbo’s arrest is particularly interesting because he and Ari are not together romantically, as she is currently dating boxer Gervonta Davis and is around 14 weeks pregnant with his child.

Coincidentally, Ari and Gervonta were spotted partying Monday night (Apr. 15) at Allure Gentlemen’s club in Atlanta, where Chance the Rapper was celebrating his birthday, and G Herbo also happened to be in the building as well.

Ari, Gervonta and G Herbo were NOT there together, however, it isn’t clear whether a possible encounter may have led to the alleged assault the next morning (and we certainly wouldn’t be surprised if that were the case).

Herbo is currently being held at the Fulton County Jail on $2,000 bond.

Mugshot Madness: Kodak Black Arrested at U.S.-Canada Border on Gun & Drug Charges

UPDATE: Kodak Black Released From Jail on $20K Cash Bond

Original story: Just hours after it was reported that Kodak Black was a no-show at a concert Wednesday night (Apr. 17) at the House of Blues in Boston, it was revealed that the Florida rapper had been arrested by U.S. Customs Agents for weapons and drugs charges at the U.S.-Canada border earlier that day.

According to Buffalo’s WKBW News, New York State Police said Kodak (whose real name is “Bill Kapri”) was with three other men attempting to enter the United States via the Lewiston-Queenston International Bridge when they were detained at the border for weapon and drug possession.

Police said Kodak had marijuana and a Glock 9mm pistol that he didn’t declare inside the Cadillac Escalade he was driving.

According to TMZ, there was also a Porsche traveling with Kodak’s team with 3 other people, and the driver of that vehicle declared two loaded handguns, but didn’t declare a third that was found by police in the trunk.

Police said they also found more marijuana in the Porsche, and arrested 22-year-old Jeantony Saintmelus (the driver) for criminal possession of a weapon and possession of marijuana. Stetson President and Madarrow Smith (the passengers) were also arrested for criminal possession of a weapon.

A spokesman for Customs and Border Protection said in a statement:

“On Wednesday, two vehicles occupied by U.S. Citizens were encountered at the Lewiston-Queenston Port of Entry. During the initial inspection, the U.S. citizens admitted to being in possession of marijuana and firearms.

“During a secondary inspection, it was revealed that the weapons were possessed unlawfully in New York State and subsequently the marijuana, firearms and subjects were turned over to the New York State Police for further processing.

“U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office of Field Operations continuously works in collaboration with our law enforcement partners, which include federal, state and local agencies.”

All four men were arraigned in Lewiston Town Court and taken to the Niagara County Jail to be booked on their charges. They’re all due back in court in May.

Though Kodak never made it to his Boston show, his tour bus did, and it was surrounded by angry fans after being told that the rapper wasn’t performing.

TMZ reported that Kodak’s fans waited outside for several hours before his team canceled the gig.

This has been an especially busy week for Kodak Black, who has been beefing with damn near the entire Hip Hop industry after making disrespectful comments about Lauren London following the death of Nipsey Hussle.

Donald Trump’s Response to Russia Investigation: “This is the End of My Presidency. I’m F**ked!”

On Thursday (Apr. 18), the Department of Justice has released the full (but significantly redacted) version of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Among many highlights is one portion in which President Trump revealed he was scared sh*tless after learning of Robert Mueller’s appointment as special counsel in 2017, saying that it would be the end of his presidency, according to Mueller’s investigation.

“Oh my God. This is terrible. This is the end of my Presidency. I’m f**ked,” Trump said when he was informed of Mueller’s appointment.

“Everyone tells me if you get one of these independent counsels it ruins your presidency,” Trump told then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions in response to the news of Mueller’s appointment, according to the report. “It takes years and years and I won’t be able to do anything. This is the worst thing that ever happened to me.”

Trump has repeatedly referred to the Mueller investigation as a “witch hunt” throughout the nearly two years the probe took place.

The President reacted to the heavily redacted report’s release at an event with wounded military service members.

“I’m having a good day… It was called ‘no collusion. No obstruction.’ I’m having a good time,” Trump said to applause in the East Room of the White House. “There never was, by the way, and there never will be.”

Trump also celebrated his “win” via Twitter:

Teairra Mari on Paying 50 Cent $30K After He Posted Her Sex Tape on Instagram: “This is Injustice”

Teairra Mari has repeatedly said “I ain’t got it” when referring to the $30,000 she owes 50 Cent. Now, she wants the G-Unit rapper to know that she may never pay him in the name of justice.

Teairra exclusively spoke to Hollywood Life on the feud that has lit up the blogs recently.

“Monday, I felt like I was going to pay it back, but today I don’t know,” she told the site.

She went on to admit that she has struggled to comply with a judge’s ruling to pay Curtis Jackson (aka 50 Cent) $30K worth of legal fees after the judge dropped the revenge porn lawsuit, in which she also sued the rapper.

“I was definitely crushed, hurt,” she said. “I just felt like this is injustice.”

Teairra named 50 Cent in the suit because he shared graphic images from her leaked sex tape last year.

The Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star accused her ex-boyfriend, Akbar Abdul-Ahad, of hacking her Instagram account and leaking the sex tape.

Akbar and 50 Cent happen to buddies and when 50 Cent shared the images, Teairra felt the two were in cahoots and sued them both.

However, after foolishly publicly meeting up with Abdul-Ahad once she had filed the lawsuit, she was dropped by her lawyer and could not find any other representation. The case was ultimately dropped.

“I tried to find another attorney but no other attorney would pick up the case so ultimately I lost,” Mari said. “Then 50 countersued to pay his legal fees, but he knows that he’s wrong.”

Teairra is adamant that she doesn’t have the money to fork over, and she doesn’t even know why 50 is coming for her so hard because they barely know each other.

“I don’t even know 50 and that’s why I’m so mad he started with me,” she said. “The only connection I see is that he’s buddies with my ex.”

Last week, Teairra attempted to “end” 50’s career by dropping a diss track called “I Ain’t Got It,” referring to the money she legally owes him and he’s demanding her to pay. She even released a few merch items featuring the phrase.

In a petty move, 50 trademarked the phrase—which Teairra apparently forgot to do—and released his own line of “I Ain’t Got It” swag.

I guess Teairra is going to have find yet another way to pay 50 Cent his money.

NeNe Pressuring “RHOA” Producers to Bring Back Phaedra to Help Her Battle Kenya, and Kandi is Threatening to Quit the Show (Report)

Feeling like everyone is against her, NeNe Leakes is reportedly pushing very hard for Phaedra Parks to make a return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Sources exclusively spilled the tea to Love B. Scott.

Rumors that Kenya Moore is currently in negotiations to return to the show as a peach-holding housewife have reportedly spooked Leakes. And now she’s using all of her power at Bravo to sway execs into bringing back the ousted housewife, Parks.

“We’re told she feels that if the network is bringing Kenya Moore back, then she would feel better about having a cast member return that’s ‘on her side’ as well,” B. Scott reports.

The major hitch in Leakes’ plan is that Kandi Burruss has publicly and privately threatened to quit RHOA if Parks ever returns to the show.

The two fell out after it was revealed that Parks started a rumor that Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, had attempted to drug fellow housewife Porsha Williams and take her back to their alleged “sex dungeon.” Parks was fired for the serious allegations.

Via Love B. Scott:

Considering Kandi’s three RHOA spin-offs are the highest rated ‘Housewives’ spin-offs, the network doesn’t want to risk losing a proven money-maker for the likes of Ms. Parks.

Kandi’s business empire keeps growing AND she’ll have another baby girl via surrogate next season, so Bravo isn’t taking chances on letting her go. For that reason alone, Phaedra’s return is unlikely.

So, it looks like Leakes will have to fend off Moore by herself, for now.
Leakes and Moore have had a hot & cold relationship over the years and it’s currently frozen due to some off-screen social media beef the two have.

We saw a glimpse of this frosty friendship during the Season 11 Finale when NeNe refused to even speak to Kenya after she unexpectedly showed up at Cynthia Bailey’s event.

NeNe even felt betrayed by Cynthia for not giving her a heads up that Kenya was also going to be in attendance. The incident has broken their longtime friendship as well.

In a recent interview with E! News, Leakes stated that she would welcome Parks back to RHOA, despite Burruss’ feelings. She also tried to appear unbothered by Moore’s possible return.

“I’m not against anybody returning to this show,” she said. “Bring ’em back, bring ’em all back … I’m still gonna be here.”

Wendy Williams Jokes That Men Are Blowing Up Her Phone for Dates, Including Charlamagne tha God

In the days since filing for divorce, Wendy Williams has joked on her daily talk show that she’s “on the loose.”

And today, she revealed to her viewers that her social calendar is beginning to fill up, including a “double date” with Charlamagne tha God and her in-studio emcee, DJ Boof.

Williams sets the scene of how two men asked her out on dates on the same night for her audience on Wednesday (Apr. 17).

She was reading “Fifty Shades of Grey” author E.L. James’ new book when the phone rang.

“All of a sudden my cell phone rings and it’s DJ Boof asking me out for dinner!”

Boof serves as the emcee for The Wendy Williams Show and hypes the audience before taping and during commercial breaks.

“I told Boof, ‘I’ll see you over the weekend. Pick me up on time.'” She continued her story as the camera panned to Boof.

And minutes later, Williams phone rings again. “No, it wasn’t Boof! It was Charlamagne [Tha God]!” Williams revealed.

It was actually shocking to hear Williams utter the Breakfast Club host’s name given their infamous decade-long feud. She usually even gives Charlamagne the Mariah Carey “I don’t know her” treatment when asked about him.

So, if that wasn’t surprising enough, Williams says that Charlamagne also asked her out to dinner. Coincidentally, it was on the same day and time that she had just committed to her engagement with DJ Boof and Williams informed the radio host of the conflict.

“So, Charlamagne says, ‘I know Boof. Why don’t we both take you out?’ I said, ‘Look, I’m reading and I have my food here. Why don’t you call Boof, and set it up’ … So, now I have a double date!”

Boof confirmed that Charlamagne called him to work things out so that they could enjoy a “threesome” with Wendy!

It’s all in good fun, of course. Charlamagne has been happily married to Jessica Gadsen since 2014, and although we don’t know Boof’s relationship status, it’s doubtful he’d be hitting on his boss just days after she filed for divorce.

However, the fact that Williams and Charlamagne are burying the hatchet to reunite remains the biggest revelation. The former colleagues have not spoken to each other in 10 years.

And it might have something to do with the fact that Charlamagne is the one who introduced Williams’ estranged husband, Kevin Hunter, to his alleged longtime mistress, Sharina Hudson.

Charlamagne shared details of his strained relationship with Willaims and Hunter to Page Six:

“The reason Kevin Hunter and I fell out, and the reason why I don’t communicate with Wendy anymore is because of Sharina…

“Kevin got upset because he thought Sharina liked one of my homeboys and he thought that I was hooking Sharina up [with other men].”

Charlamagne got his big break when he became Williams’ sidekick on her radio show in 2006.

He briefly worked on the television show in 2008 until Hunter fired him and forbade him from contacting Williams ever again. “You’re dead to us,” Hunter told Charlamagne, according to the Breakfast Club host.

“Kevin has literally gone out of his way to try to stop my livelihood, to cut my head off and stop me from other jobs,” Charlamagne continued. “He has done it a couple of times. Kevin has definitely got a couple of cease and desist letters from my attorney.”

Upon hearing Williams had finally filed for divorce last week, Charlamagne went on his radio show and called Hunter a “clown of legendary proportions” and a “grade-A sucker.”

“I feel sorry for [Wendy] because she was an abused woman on various levels,” he added.

Williams must have heard Charlamagne’s sympathies and decided to mend fences with her one-time foe.

Charlamagne Denies Having Sex With Wendy Williams & Breaking Up With a Girl Because She Wouldn’t Peg Him

Charlamagne Tha God was recently put in the awkward position of addressing rumors that he slept with Wendy Williams and broke up with a girl because she refused to “peg” him.

Yesterday on The Breakfast Club, hosts Charlamagne, DJ Envy and Angela Yee were discussing hot topics of the day in their “rumor report” feature, when the gossip turned to claims from singer Aveon Falstar that he was sexually abused by Wendy Williams’ husband Kevin Hunter (which Kevin adamantly denies, btw).

Aveon also claimed that Charlamagne had an affair with Wendy back in the day when they were co-hosts at a radio station, which, according to Aveon, is one of the reasons why her soon-to-be ex-husband isn’t too fond of Charlamagne.

Aveon said Kevin saw text messages on Wendy’s phone that suggested that Wendy and Charlamagne were having an affair, and he’s allegedly had it out for Charlamagne ever since … even going as far as (allegedly) bringing up old rape allegations against Charlamagne in an attempt to slander his name and ruin his career.

DJ Envy jokingly pointed to this picture as proof of Charlamagne’s affair with Wendy:

But Charlamagne let it be known that those rumors are far from the truth. In fact, he said this is the first time he’s hearing such a thing.

“I’ve never heard that rumor,” Charlamagne said. “I haven’t spoken to Wendy in 10 years, and we were definitely not texting 10 years ago.”

Charlamagne also said he was cleared of those rape allegations because his DNA was never found in the rape kit of the woman who accused him of sexually assaulting her.

After Charlamagne cleared up those two things, the trio then dived into another claim from Aveon.

In addition to the Wendy affair rumor, Aveon also accused Charlamagne of breaking up with a girl because she refused to fulfill his alleged desires to be “pegged,” a sexual practice in which a woman anally penetrates a man with a strap-on dildo.

Charlamagne responded by saying he’s “not giving that any energy,” but then hilariously tripped up by asking to “go back to the false allegations.”

“OK, so these weren’t false,” Yee joked as Envy laughed and Charlamagne smacked his lips.

“You need a hug?” Envy asked Charlamagne. “You want a regular hug or do you want me to hug you from behind?”

Charlamagne was not amused.

“I thought we were having a serious conversation about false allegations leveled against me,” said. “But, whatever, go ahead, get your jokes off.”

“RHOA” Season 12 Cast Rumors: Shamari Demoted, Eva Keeps Her Peach, Kenya & Phaedra May Return

Season 11 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta has wrapped and pre-production for season 12 has already begun. And we know who’s holding onto their peach who just lost theirs!

Sources close to production exclusively reveal to Love B. Scott what cast changes are being made for the upcoming season.

As expected, the sole OG housewife, NeNe Leakes, remains queen of the series, despite feeling unsupported by her castmates for most of season 11, and “betrayed” by close friend, Cynthia Bailey, in the finale.

Bailey, Kandi Burruss, and Porsha Williams will also return as full-time housewives.

According to B. Scott, producers were “on the fence” about Eva Marcille coming back. Ultimately, she will keep her peach and continue throwing her subtle shade for a second season. Let”s hope she brings out “Eva the Diva” to shake things up a little more.

Producers reportedly snatched Shamari DeVoe’s peach from her. However, they were intrigued by her “alcohol-fueled debut” and demoted her to “friend” status for season 12.

Marlo Hampton and Tanya Sam are also expected to return as “friends” of the show.

Will they please give Marlo a peach already?! Hasn’t it been like 10 years since we first met her? It feels like it.

(For the record, Miss Hampton made her debut in season 4 – eight years ago.)

And here are the biggest cast changes for season 12, though speculation only:
B. Scott reports that Kenya Moore is in negotiations to return and producers are “considering” bringing Phaedra Parks back.

These are changes I can get behind. And Nene couldn’t care less, so she claims.

“Bring ’em back, bring ’em all back,” Leakes said when recently asked about the possibility of Phaedra and Kenya returning. “I’m still gonna be here.”

Mugshot Madness: Maryland Man Arrested for Knowingly Infecting Women With HIV

When it comes to crazy news stories, Maryland ain’t got nothin’ on Florida. But nonetheless, one of the more shocking headlines to grace your smartphone screens is straight from the heart of Blue Crab Country.

According to The Frederick News-Post, Mr. Rudolph Jericho Smith of Frederick, Md. was arrested and indicted by a grand jury for knowingly infecting women with HIV. The charge is not one the state of Maryland uses often, so it caught plenty of people’s attention.

While detectives were in touch with Smith several times during the roughly 21-month investigation, the evidence necessary to bring his case before the grand jury and secure his arrest took a considerable amount of time and manpower to collect, said Lt. Kirk Henneberry, who commands the Frederick Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division.

In addition to interviews, efforts to find alleged victims and scouring the dating websites Smith was rumored to use, detectives also had to file requests for medical records in order to confirm key statements, the lieutenant said. Those efforts paid off Monday.

“Yesterday at about 3:10 p.m. Detective [David] Dewees and Detective [Stephen] Radtke met with Smith and arrested him at his residence in the 5100 block of McLauren Lane,” Henneberry said.

To qualify for this charge, the suspect has to be aware of his HIV status, which police say 34-year-old Rudolph Smith was aware of as far back as 2014. It’s not clear if Smith had any kind of treatment for his condition going on, but given that he’s been charged with spreading the disease to others, the answer is likely no.

Rudolph Smith created dating profiles on Backpage and Bumble, through which he met several of the alleged victims identified in the case. He also met women offline, Henneberry said. The investigation began in July 2017 when police received a phone call from a woman who told them she tested positive for HIV after having sex with Rudolph Smith, saying she believed he transferred the virus to her.

Who knew that spreading HIV undercover like this would still be a thing in the age of PreP and PeP?

Frank Ocean Has Turned Into a Boring, Pretentious Recluse, Just Like Lauryn Hill

Frank Ocean, the once red-hot R&B rising star of 2011-2012, has pretty much been a rebel without a cause ever since the release of his debut album, Channel Orange.

Like Lauryn Hill, this debut album was lauded as an instant classic and it cemented Frank’s rising star. This was after a man who was co-writing for Beyoncé and collaborating with Jay Z and Kanye West.

But after the success of his debut, Frank became quiet, isolated and reclusive. He separated himself from the ragtag collective, Odd Future, which he was affiliated with and he parted ways abruptly with his manager, Christian Clancy.

He then pulled a stunt by releasing a “visual album,” Endless, that was only available on Apple Music for a limited time to get out of his deal with Def Jam, only to turn around release his “real” album, Blonde.

Although some people liked both projects, the albums were a great departure from his debut album and breakthrough mixtape, nostalgia, ultra. Discernible hooks and compelling production were thrown out the window in favor of sparse, meandering, acoustic, vocal experimentations that seemed more at home as a part of an anthropological experiment rather than a popular musician’s sophomore body of work.

But like I said: We’ve seen this movie before. Lauryn Hill pulled the same stunt with her follow-up to Miseducation of Lauryn Hill with her MTV Unplugged album.

Anyway, all of this is relevant because Frank Ocean, the recluse, has re-emerged as the cover boy of Gayletter magazine.

In the interview, Frank rebuffs the recluse label but doesn’t provide much of a compelling argument for why it’s not accurate:

“I think the whole idea of me as a recluse is absurd ’cause I’m in the streets like all the time. I’m outside all the time, I’m traveling the world all the time. It’s funny to me that that’s the perception, but I understand what people mean by it in this new paradigm.

I don’t know if it’s terribly calculated, but I’m just trying to put myself more into whatever kind of stream is going on here in culture. I don’t think my feelings about press have anything to do with how times are changing. I think it’s more a feeling.

The first part is bizarre. I don’t know whose streets Frank is roaming on but he’s most certainly not on TMZ all day, every day. And just because you travel a lot (and likely on private planes), doesn’t mean you’re an open book.

That second part doesn’t really make any sense at all. If he wants to be more into “whatever kind of stream is going on here in culture,” then he’d far more active on social media, host live streams and just generally emerge from his self-imposed bubble.

Honestly, the interview is an absolute snoozefest because you can tell the interviewer is treating Frank with kid gloves cause they’re a friendly publication.

There are no questions about why he split with his management and Odd Future, no questions about what he thinks about new Kanye, given his close relationship to the producer in the past, or heck, even any concrete information about another album.

We do, however, learn that Frank has been in a relationship for 3 years. Word on the street is it’s some dude name Memo Guzman, but the interviewer in Gayletter never probes the subject to get any more details.

So if you want to read a long-winded interview of someone who takes themselves way too seriously, has lost the meaning of the word entertainer and likes to talk as if they’re saying something but really have nothing of substance to say, then enjoy Frank’s interview with Gayletter.

If Beyoncé is our generation’s Michael Jackson, then Frank Ocean is most certainly our generation’s Lauryn Hill. He just has better time management and a firmer grasp on birth control.

LISTEN: Kodak Black Calls T.I.’s Wife Tiny an “Ugly Bitch” in Diss Track Called “Expeditiously”

Kodak Black is not done with T.I. just yet.

After T.I. teased a Kodak Black diss track on Instagram Live, Kodak responded by saying he “should have made one of [his] fa**ot a** little sons write a rap.”

He then went in on Tiny, saying: “That bitch ugly as hell. I don’t even want piggy! He talkin’ about ‘Bro would’ve stepped up for me.’ First of all, bitch, don’t nobody want piggy, bitch.”

Now Kodak has decided to air his grievances on wax via a new diss track aimed right at T.I. called “Expeditiously.”

The title was inspired by the word Tip used when he called him out over his disrespectful comments about Nipsey Hussle’s girlfriend Lauren London.

Throughout the song, Kodak rips into T.I. and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris.

“How you tell me what came out my mouth, you don’t even know Nipsey / Tiny that bitch ugly as hell / I don’t even want Piggy,” Kodak raps. “I can’t beat you ni**as at talkin’ give me a long sentence / You know I keep the pole and I ain’t no hoe, I know some Rollin 60s / And I’m thuggin’ all on my lonely, but I keep some Zoes with me.”

Elsewhere in the song, Kodak seemingly calls out Tekashi 6ix9ine and The Game, the latter of whom also put him on blast for his comments about Lauren London.

“Young ni**a stickin’ to the code, ’cause I don’t condone snitchin’ / I ain’t going out like that rapper, I don’t wanna do no tippin’,” Kodak adds.

“When he said my name on the TV, that boy a bold witness / On the news, see T.I.P. me, that boy don’t got no feelings / Suwoop put the pole on lil’ buddy, they said the Game strippin’ / Old heads ain’t hittin’ on nun, I say them boys kiddin’ / I want all the smoke out the stove but I don’t even roll Phillies / How the hell you callin’ me out when you know I don’t listen.”

The beef between T.I. and Kodak started after Kodak said he wanted to pursue London following Nipsey’s death, but he would give her a year of “crying and sh*t” before making his move.

“Lauren London that baby, though. She about to be out here single,” Kodak said. “She’s finna be a whole widow out here. I’ll be the best man I can be for her. I’ll give her a whole year. She might need a whole year to be crying and sh*t for him.”

He added: “I’ll try to be like a friend if you need to holla or a shoulder to lean on. She can call my line.”

Tip scolded Kodak in a video he shared on social media (“You out of pocket, ni**a, fix that sh*t … quickly, expeditiously”) and then removed the rapper’s exhibit from his Trap Museum in Atlanta, to which Kodak responded: “F**k that p**sy a** museum, I ain’t give you permission to put me up anyway.”

Kodak then offered a non-apology to Lauren London (“If I disrespected you, Lauren London, in any shape or form, I’m sorry, even though I didn’t”) and later claimed that the only reason T.I. was going after him because he wanted London all for himself.

“Dude just wants first dibs on her,” Kodak said on Instagram Live.

This past weekend, T.I. seemingly previewed a diss track of his own targeted at Kodak.

“I’m conditioned to see the vision, you / I don’t care if you’re 81 or 22,” he raps. “All that back and forth, ain’t finna get into / I said what I said and I meant it too.” (FYI: Kodak Black turns 22 on his birthday in June)

Kim Kardashian & Kanye West’s Sinks Don’t Have Basins, and Twitter Has Questions (and Jokes)

Where are the sink basins?

Remember just a few months ago, when Kanye West surprised Kim Kardashian with saxophonist Kenny G at their home, surrounded by vases of single roses for Valentine’s Day, but the romantic gesture left social media puzzled because the couple had no furniture?

Well, now social media has even more questions after getting another glimpse into the super couple’s Calabasas mansion.

Kim and Kanye recent welcomed Vogue into their home for the magazine’s popular “73 Questions” series.

Kim describes her home as a “minimal monastery” as we see little furniture and an off-white color scheme throughout the mansion.

As the camera pans into a bathroom, a massive tub faces a window wall. And then there are the sinks.

Viewers were mystified by the double sinks with no basins, just faucets.

Kim offered no explanation of the architectural marvel, leaving social media to offer their own theories and hilarious commentary.

Take a look:

Amid the jokes and GIFS, there were a few people who offered real explanations for those of us who are still like “But, why?”

Here are two pretty good ones:

What do you think about Kim and Kanye’s sinks?

Kodak Black Responds to T.I. Diss Track: “You Should’ve Made One of Your Fa**ot A** Sons Write a Rap”

Kodak Black has gone way too far with this T.I. beef. Now he’s coming for the rapper’s sons and his wife Tiny.

LISTEN: Kodak Black Calls T.I.’s Wife Tiny an “Ugly Bitch” in Diss Track Called “Expeditiously”

During an Instagram Live Monday (Apr. 15), Kodak reacted to a snippet of a song T.I. previewed over the weekend in which he seemingly addresses his recent back-and-forth with Kodak.

In the song, T.I. raps: “I’m conditioned to see the vision, you / I don’t care if you 81 or 22 / All that back and forth, what you trying to get into? / I said what I said and I meant it to.”

At some point during Kodak’s live, a commenter mentioned T.I.’s name, and Kodak went all the way off, accusing T.I. of clout chasing and also hurling homophobic slurs at the Atlanta rapper’s sons.

“What you making songs for? Trying to get in the game, ni**a, take your ass out of the game,” Kodak said, referring to the Kang. “You should’ve made one of your fa**ot ass little sons write a rap. Cause that sh*t really like booted in.”

The “ZEZE” rapper then went on to rant about how people are calling into radio stations all over the country to ask them to stop playing his music and putting out petitions to have him canceled before turning his attention back to T.I. and other rappers who’ve been calling him out lately for his antics.

“You ni**as really mad because you ni**as can’t rap better than me…” Kodak rambled.

“Fuck this pu**y ass sh*t… I’m in my own lane, y’all gotta come to me because this is where y’all come at for the swag, this is where y’all come to me for… man, stop playing.”

Kodak didn’t stop there. After a brief pause, he went in on T.I.’s wife Tiny, referring to a comment T.I. made about Nipsey Hussle stepping up for him if the situation was reversed.

“That bitch ugly as hell. I don’t even want piggy! He talkin’ about ‘Bro would’ve stepped up for me.’ First of all, bitch, don’t nobody want piggy, bitch,” he said as he and his crew made pig noises in the background.

“That baby was just on the ‘gram talkin’ about, ‘Let me drive the boat,'” he added. “Yeah, piggy wanna drive the boat… bitches can have the boat.”
