YNW Melly Facing the Death Penalty in Double Murder of His Friends

YNW Melly’s murder case has taken a serious turn as Florida prosecutors have announced that they are seeking the death penalty if he’s convicted.

Melly (real name: Jamell Maurice Demons) was charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the shooting death of two of his fellow YNW crew members back in October.

Police said after the rapper shot 21-year-old Anthony Williams (aka YNW Sakchaser) and 19-year-old Christopher Thomas Jr. (aka YNW Juvy) on October 26th, and, along with an accomplice—another one of Demons’ friends, 20-year-old Cortlen Henry (aka YNW Bortlen)—drove around with the men’s dead bodies “for a period of time” while they came up with a story to tell police.

Melly jumped into another car, and Bortlen eventually dropped Juvy and Sakchaser off at the emergency room, where they were pronounced dead.

“They arrived with multiple gunshot wounds. They were dead already,” Miramar police spokeswoman Tania Rues said at the time.

Bortlen and Melly later told police that they were involved in a drive-by shooting and also staged the crime scene to look that way.

Now, after learning the details of the case, the State of Florida has filed new legal docs stating their intent to seek the death penalty.

TMZ reports:

In the docs, the State says it believes it can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Melly killed his friends for financial gain, the murder was especially heinous, atrocious or cruel, and he committed homicide in a cold, calculated and premeditated manner.

The State also believes Melly is a criminal gang member.

As we’ve reported … cops say YNW Melly and his friend, Cortlen Henry, shot victims Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas Jr. in the head, torso and back. Police say Melly and Henry shot up their own car to make it look like a drive-by, and then dropped the victims off at the ER, where they were pronounced dead.

Florida is one of 30 States where capital punishment is legal.

Yikes. Going to jail for life is one thing, but getting executed is a whole other story.

For what it’s worth, in an arraignment last month, YNW Melly pleaded not guilty to the murder charges … but it already looks like the prosecution already has a pretty solid case against him.

Kenya Moore Secures RHOA Season 12 Peach After Forming “Alliance” With Cynthia Bailey & Kandi Burruss

Season 11 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta just ended with an epic shouting match between NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Baily, essentially ending their 9-year friendship. And the very cause of the duo’s fallout is most likely making a grand return in season 12.

Our friends over at Straight From The A are exclusively reporting that Kenya Moore has, in fact, obtained her peach and will be coming returning to RHOA as a full-time housewife.

We reported last week that Moore was in negotiations to return, as is if Moore was on the fence about the decision. However, STFA reports that Moore has been plotting her way back on the show since season 11 premiered.

The blog reports that Moore formed an “alliance” with Bailey and Kandi Burruss to keep Moore’s name on the show.

Burruss often stated that Moore’s pregnancy and the birth of her first child should have been captured on the show, especially since one of Burruss’ storylines was debating if she and her husband Todd Tucker, should have another child (via surrogacy).

Off camera, Moore strategically scheduled her C-section on the same night that season 11 of RHOA premiered. Though a little shady, Moore made sure that her name and the announcement of baby Brooklyn’s arrival was linked with any headlines about RHOA’s premiere.

Moore also debuted new photos of  Brooklyn on social media every Sunday, the same night that RHOA airs on Bravo.

The alliance and intricate operation to get Moore’s peach culminated during the season finale.

Bailey outright invited Moore to her event and it was Burruss who “officially” brought Moore to the party.

According to Straight From the A:

“I was told by several sources that Cynthia hoped to shoot a few scenes with Kenya and baby Brooklyn last season, but production said ‘no’. Her final option was to include Kenya on the guest list for her Peach Bellini party, which just so happened to be the season finale.”

Bailey’s move to bring Moore back on the show was seen as a form of betrayal to NeNe Leakes—who was having social media beef with Kenya at the time. NeNe felt that Cynthia and Kandi set her up by not first informing her that Moore would also be in attendance at Cynthia’s event.

NeNe stated on the finale and during the season 11 reunion that she considers her friendship with Bailey over.

With Moore returning to the show, Leakes reportedly wants someone “on her team” and is pressuring producers to allow ousted housewife, Phaedra Parks, to return to the show as well.

Moore debuted on RHOA in season 5. Frustrated producers snatched her peach after season 10 wrapped because she made filming difficult during the season and was even cut from some of the episodes, including the annual cast vacation.

Though the cast for the upcoming season has yet to be officially announced, it looks like Kenya Moore is a lock. She connived and schemed her way back on the show and it may make for a juicy season.

Season 12 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is expected to premiere later this year.

#JusticeForLucca Trends After Video Shows Police Tackling Unarmed Black Teen & Slamming His Head on the Ground

Calls of police brutality are growing after two Florida police officers were seen on video slamming an unarmed high school student’s head against the concrete, leaving his face bruised and bloodied.

The teen’s name hasn’t been released by officials, however, the hashtag #JusticeForLucca was trending on Twitter this week in association with the disturbing video, which was recorded by another student.

According to the Miami Herald, the footage shows Deputy Christopher Krickovich and Sergeant Greg Lacerra surrounded by a crowd of mostly Black students from J.P. Taravella High School after a fight broke out outside a McDonald’s in Fort Lauderdale.

Krickovich wrote in his report that because of a large fight Wednesday at the shopping center where the restaurant is located, the two were stationed there Thursday in case of a new eruption. Bell said the Tamarac plaza is a longtime afterschool trouble spot, with students threatening and harassing the mostly elderly clientele.

Krickovich said Thursday’s fight ended before deputies could get there. He said as the crowd dispersed, Lacerra noticed a teen who had been told to stay out of the plaza after Wednesday’s fight. Krickovich said he arrested the teen for trespassing and put him on the ground, causing the teen to drop his cellphone. He said a teen in a red tank top picked it up.

This is where the videos circulating on social media start.

One particular angle shows Lacerra shoving the teen in the red tank top in the head. When the teen appears to say something to Lacerra, the cop reacts by pepper spraying him in the face and throwing him to the ground.

Another angle from a separate video shows Krickovich jumping on the teen and slamming his forehead twice into the ground while also punching him as the teen tries to cover his face.

A third deputy is seen helping Krickovhich pin the teen’s arms behind his back to be handcuffed as the clip (below) ends.

Photos circulating on social media show the teen with blood all over his face as a result of being brutally assaulted by the officers.

Krichovich wrote in his statement that he was trying to restrain the teen because he was afraid the boy would either try to fight him or run away.

“The three of us were outnumbered by the large group of students who were yelling, threatening us and surrounding us,” Krickovich wrote. “I had to act quickly, fearing I would get struck or having a student potentially grab weapons off my belt.”

Jeff Bell, president of the Broward Sheriff’s Office Deputies Association, told the Miami Herald that Krickovich and his colleagues were simply enforcing aggressive police tactics the new sheriff has pushed.

“They did exactly what they were trained to do,” Bell said.

Krickovich was placed on restricted duty and ordered to surrender his gun and badge until an investigation is complete, while the teen was charged for assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.

Social media is in an uproar over the incident, especially considering the teen was arrested and charge, while the cop was simply placed on “restricted duty.”

Most people with good sense don’t think that’s enough, and are calling for Krickovich to be fired, including Broward County Mayor Mark Bogen.

“The behavior of these BSO deputies is outrageous & unacceptable,” he wrote on Twitter. “The officer who jumped the student, punched & banged his head should be fired. I have a problem with the deputy who threw him to the ground after he pepper sprayed him He could’ve easily arrested him after the spray.”

He added: “I hope appropriate authorities will investigate this conduct and take appropriate action. The behavior of these officers is outrageous and unacceptable. There is no excuse for law enforcement to harm a teenager who is on the ground and gave no resistance.”

Celebrities are also beginning to speak on the incident, including NBA superstar LeBron James.

“So wrong!! Hurts me to my soul!!” the former Miami Heat player tweeted. “To think that could be my sons Scary times man.”

John Singleton suffered a stroke at the hospital earlier this week, but is under “great medical care,” Singleton’s family said in a statement Saturday (Apr. 20) following reports that the legendary film director had been hospitalized.

Singleton’s family said the filmmaker had a “mild” stroke Wednesday (Apr. 17) while at the hospital. He had checked himself in earlier this week after experiencing weakness in his leg.

One family member said John had recently flown back from Costa Rica, and the plane flight may have triggered the medical emergency.

Singleton’s family said in a statement Saturday that he’s “currently in the ICU and under great medical care.”

The Singleton Family added: “We ask that privacy be given to him and our family at this time and appreciate all of the prayers that have been pouring in from his fans, friends and colleagues.”

A number of celebrities have reacted to the news, urging everyone to send prayers up.

Police Looking for Woman Caught on Video Throwing a Bag of Puppies Into a Dumpster

Police say they’re on the hunt for a woman caught on video throwing a bag of puppies into a dumpster in Coachella, California.

The Riverside County Animal Services released security camera footage showing a woman pulling up to a local business in white Jeep Wrangler this week and tossing a bag filled with seven puppies into a dumpster.

Watch the disturbing footage here:

Fortunately, an hour later, someone rummaging through the trash found the puppies and they are now safe. The puppies are being taken care of at an Orange County rescue shelter.

This incident is especially troubling considering how hot it is in Coachella right now. Temperatures ranged in the mid-90s when the woman abandoned the puppies, animal services said.

The Riverside County Animal Services says police are investigating and looking for the woman so that they can charge her with animal cruelty, but the problem is they don’t know the woman’s identity and are asking for help locating her.

Ben & Jerry’s Calls Out White Privilege on 4/20: “It’s Hard to Celebrate When People of Color Are Being Arrested”

Today is “4/20″—a national holiday for people who enjoy consuming marijuana in its various forms (smoking, eating, etc.).

But, unfortunately for some people, enjoying the stoner’s holiday is risky because, for one, marijuana is only legalized in 33 states, and secondly, POCs (people of color) are disproportionately prosecuted for marijuana possession compared to white Americans.

Ben & Jerry’s doesn’t think that’s right, and they’re calling out white privilege, saying in a tweet (accompanied by a video): “It’s hard to celebrate 4/20 when so many people of color are still being arrested for pot. We have to do better.”

They expanded on their statement in a lengthy blog post:

Happy 4/20, everyone! Now that pot is legal in 33 states and counting, it’s a pretty heady moment for stoner culture. Fans of cannabis can celebrate 4/20 openly and in style in more places than ever before. And even if you’’e not in a state that legalized pot, there’s a still a pretty good chance that the cops won’t hassle you as you spend 4/20 doing your thing.

If you’re a white person.

Sorry to bring you down, but that’s the harsh reality. If you love pot AND you’re white, everything is totally awesome these days. In 2017, 81% of cannabis executives were white. Meanwhile, even in states where pot is legal, and even though Black people and white people use pot at similar rates, Black people are still arrested way more often than whites. We love 4/20 and we love legalization, but that’s not OK.

Ben & Jerry’s blog post goes on to provide statistics (Black people are 3.73 times more likely to be arrested for weed possession than white people) and it also calls on Congress to “expunge prior marijuana convictions and provide pardons/amnesty to anyone whose only crime was possession of cannabis.”

Ben & Jerry’s for president!

Ja Rule Says He’ll NEVER Be Cool With 50 Cent: “He’s a Parasite, a Cancer to the Culture & Our People”

In a climate where black-on-black crime is being scrutinized in light of the death of Nipsey Hussle, there’s renewed energy in the black community on healing and mending conflict between black men.

So I guess someone, somewhere brought it up to Ja Rule that he and 50 Cent should try to put their decades-long beef behind them. Especially considering, you know, the fact both men are well into their 40s now and beef between two middle-aged men just doesn’t play out the same as it did when they were in their 20s.

But in case you were holding your breath for a refreshed mentality in either 50 or Ja, please exhale. Ja took to his Instagram to clarify, once again, that he and 50 Cent never can be and never will be cool.

It boils down to the fact that in Ja’s view, 50 Cent is “a parasite, a cancer to the culture” who has no integrity and lacks respect and character for his fellow black people.

As evidence, he runs through a list of people 50 Cent has publicly beefed with: Diddy, Kanye, Taraji Henson, etc. But the straw that broke the camel’s back for Ja is when 50 gave Minister Louis Farrakhan his “ass to kiss” when the Farrakhan tried to broker a peace between the two rappers.

In all honesty, while I think Ja Rule is a lame, washed up rapper, for the most part, he told no lies in his post.

50 Cent is a petty-ass troll who lacks emotional intelligence and empathy. He doesn’t care about anyone’s humanity or spirit. He measures his self-worth and value in material things like cash, cars, homes and business deals.

This is a man who has disowned his eldest son and routinely insults his first baby mother on social media for laughs and clicks and doesn’t suffer any crises of conscience about it.

So if he can’t squash beef with his own blood, what hope is there for Curtis to make amends with a total stranger like Jeffrey Atkins? It’s a non-starter.

Case in point, after Ja’s Instagram post made the rounds, 50 Cent responded in kind with an Instagram post of his own.

It consisted of a photo of him smiling as wads of cash surrounded his head while chewing on a popsicle stick with the caption that reads: “I know my spirit irritates some people’s demons, so they hate me but I’m just enjoying life. God is good.”

Trolls gonna troll and 50 Cent will always go for a laugh over peace and stability.

So this beef between Ja and 50 will always be on, even if it’s gonna be microwaved and reheated time and time again because it fits 50’s brand better than being a diplomat or peacemaker can.

Jussie Smollett’s Brother Says Jussie is Telling the Truth About Being Attacked & Is Suffering From Night Terrors

The Smollett family is a talented bunch of singers, writers and actors, but it appears that one of the Smolletts may have missed his calling as a lawyer, because the defense JoJo Smollett has mounted in the form of a guest article on BET.com on behalf of his younger brother, Jussie, is the most compelling clapback that anyone in Jussie’s camp has made to date.

Jojo, who was an actor and producer himself in the ’90s but now runs a nonprofit that helps developmentally disabled people rejoin the workforce, is the oldest of the Smollett siblings.

It’s not clear what spurred the release of the guest column on BET.com, but the article attempts to dismantle the Chicago Police Department’s case against Jussie and also chastises the media for taking the CPD at their word.

Here are some of the most salient, but conflicting, points from the article:

Jojo Suggests the Osundairo Brothers Did Attack Jussie But Doesn’t Explain Why Jussie Is Letting Them Off the Hook

On February 14, the day that the Osundairo brothers were brought in for questioning as suspects, Fox News reported that the Chicago Police Communications Director, in response to leaked sources within the department, had begun spreading the word that Jussie had supposedly staged the attack, stated that the police chief “has contacted @ABC7Chicago to state on the record that we have no evidence to support their reporting and their supposed CPD sources are uninformed and inaccurate.”

If the CPD had no evidence to support the idea of a hoax, prior to interviewing the Osundairos, then they base their whole case against Jussie on that interview. The police chief later admitted that the men made no mention of a hoax until the final hour that they could legally be held. By this time, Jussie had already refused to sign a complaint against the Osundairos, convinced that these men, one who he had considered a friend and the other an acquaintance, could not be his attackers. Most importantly, detectives refused to show Jussie video, photos, or any evidence to prove they were the attackers.

The fact that these two brothers, who in the final hour confessed to attacking my brother yet say it was Jussie who told them to, is all the evidence that the police and the general public needed to be convinced, should be frightening to everyone.

Is that all it takes to destroy a lifelong dedication to one’s craft and community? Is it really that easy to convince the world of a person’s guilt? Is that all it takes to turn someone’s life upside down in America? Simply ask yourself this, “What if Jussie is telling the truth?”

With not one inkling of solid evidence, many believed the false witness testimony from two suspects who turned into witnesses, even though they lacked standard credibility.

It was under-reported that one of the “witnesses” had previously been arrested for attempted murder ending with a plea deal for aggravated battery, or that the brothers repeatedly expressed homophobia on their social media in the past. Additionally, it was never reported that they changed their story while under police interrogation.

In this section of his piece, Jojo claims that the Osundairo brothers only threw out the claim that they were in on the hoax with Jussie at the end of their police interrogation.

He also claims that the police failed to show Jussie video, photo or evidence that the brothers were his attackers, which prompted Jussie to refuse to press charges against them.

But then Jojo undermines the credibility of the brothers by claiming the brothers had a history of “homophobia” and one of them had an attempted murder charge against them, which makes it seem like the family does believe they did it.

It’s confusing. Because either the brothers did attack Jussie and Jussie refused to prosecute them for it, which raises the question of why he would allow them to get away with it. OR Jussie doesn’t think the brothers did it and instead, the CPD is framing them for something they didn’t do. And if that’s the case, why is he not aggressively in pursuit of his real attackers?

Also, the idea that the Osundairo brothers would be homophobic and still engage Jussie as “friends” seems like a bit of a stretch. Jussie, by his brother’s own admission, plays a visible gay character on Empire and is a vocal LGBT activist and out gay person in his personal life.

If homophobia is their M.O., wouldn’t they have avoided Jussie from the outset? Why would the Osundairo brothers build a supposedly close relationship with Jussie only to assault him randomly for being gay, which you knew he was all along?

Jojo Claims the Chicago Police Department Jumped the Gun in Their TV Interviews and Lack Physical Evidence

One important note, the Superintendent of the Chicago Police Department announced publicly that Jussie’s motive in staging an attack was so he could make more money from Empire.

Fox immediately said that wasn’t true but the police chief never withdrew his accusation. The chief also stated as fact that Jussie had sent himself the threatening letter that arrived at the Empire production offices weeks before the attack. The FBI then refuted this claim. Again, the chief did not correct his accusations. Letting it float for the public to either believe or not.

After several of these examples, anyone would have concluded what we knew — that the entire police case rested on two witnesses that lacked credibility and there was no physical evidence tying Jussie to this crime.

Now Jojo is accurate in that people other than Jussie’s camp undermined the narrative that the CPD was pushing. Namely, the FBI refuted the claims that it had been determined that Jussie sent his own threatening letters. But it also didn’t exactly exonerate Jussie.

And while the CPD’s credibility certainly was damaged by the countless leaks to the press and the overzealous TV interviews, it’s also true that the basic facts of Jussie’s story still don’t make any sense.

Why would two MAGA supporters (in Chicago of all places), randomly search Jussie out to attack him at 2 a.m. in subarctic temperatures on a January night? And even if that WERE true, why is Jussie not adamant about finding his attackers and holding them accountable?

Jussie Has PTSD From His Attacks and Blames Social Media for His Reputation Damage

What concerned me the most is, as the CPD continued their campaign against Jussie, I started to notice an online “bandwagon” approaching ignoring whether there were any real facts to suggest his guilt. In an effort to fit in with the momentum on social media, many appeared to roast him, demean him, and laugh at a traumatic and painful ordeal.

Jussie is as strong as iron, but following an attack like this, there is a normal and natural amount of post trauma that mostly anyone should expect to suffer. I have literally seen him violently awakening from night terrors, following the assault. Some of my siblings, as well as Jussie’s partner and closest friends have seen similar things.

I mean, no offense, but Jussie didn’t sustain any lasting injuries from the alleged assault. Based on the mugshot, homeboy has a bruised cheek and a minor cut.

Also, Jussie didn’t help the situation when he got onstage and made outlandish claims like “I’m the gay Tupac,” so you can’t put this all on everyone else, Jojo.

Jojo Claims Jussie Had No Choice But to Forfeit the $10,000 Bond

Jussie has been an entertainer since the age of five, and loves his craft. He is a consummate singer, dancer, actor, and the funniest person I have ever known. Today, unfortunately, he finds his livelihood in jeopardy.

Jussie was concerned that forfeiting the $10,000 bail could look like an admission of guilt. In fact, not paying, and proceeding with a potentially multi-year process that would bankrupt him and his career was not a realistic option. Even now he carries immense financial burdens for his legal defense and security needs.

This makes zero sense. Jussie was absolutely right to believe that the forfeiture of the bond money would seem like an admission of guilt, because it is.

No one, especially someone who claims the CPD has NO PHYSICAL EVIDENCE AGAINST HIM, would forfeit their bond and walk away from the case completely.

If the CPD’s entire case is baseless and you stand on that, why would you not proceed with the defense of clearing your name, since you’ll emerge victorious and likely be able to recoup those litigation causes anyway?

And by the way, the decision to forfeit the bond in an attempt to avoid a costly, prolonged legal battle is a moot point since the CPD is pursuing Jussie in court on civil charges. So what was the point?

All in all, while Jojo’s letter made some valid points, it didn’t do enough to cover the Grand Canyon-sized holes in Jussie’s story, but for a former-actor, it was a decent attempt at playing lawyer for his brother.

And of course, the choice to use BET.com as a platform was smart as they were more likely to be more friendly to Jojo’s biased POV and not scrutinize the content as much as, say, The New York Times or The Wall Street Journal.

For example, Jojo misspelled the Nigerian-American brothers’ names as “Osundario” instead of “Osundairo” and BET failed to correct it, indicating this was likely a piece that went to press with a minimal amount of editing or fact-checking.

But what do y’all think? Did Jojo’s little letter make you shift to Team Jussie or are you still lookin’ at him sideways?

5-Year-Old Boy Thrown From Third Floor Balcony at Mall of America “Showing Signs of Recovery” As GoFundMe Nears $1 Million

A five-year-old boy thrown from a 3rd-floor balcony at the Mall of America last week is fighting for his life in the intensive care unit, but his family says he is “showing signs of recovery.”

The family gave an update of “miracle child” Landen Hoffmann’s recovery on Good Friday (April. 19). The family said:

“Our miracle child is showing real signs of recovery. New test results have been positive, though he remains in intensive care with a long road ahead. Our faith in God, and our Savior Jesus, is strong, and we are gaining more reason for optimism day by day.

“We continue our appeal for privacy as we focus on our son, and thank you for respecting our wishes. Just know that we absolutely feel your overwhelming love, prayers and support, for they seem to be working. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.”

In just six days, a GoFundMe fundraiser dedicated to helping Landen and his family is on its way to reaching its $1 million goal. As of this reporting, the page had received more than $915,000 in donations by nearly 26,000 people.

“Just know that we all feel your overwhelming love, prayers and support,” the GoFundMe page states. “He is answering our prayers and they ARE working.”

The message continues: “Please continue to pray for Landen and his family, every single prayer is important.”

Emmanuel Aranda, 24, has been charged with attempted murder after admitting he purposefully threw little Landen over the balcony.

Landen fell approximately 39 feet and suffered multiple fractured bones in his arms and legs, was bleeding from his head, and had massive head trauma. He’s being treated at the Children’s Hospital.

Aranda, who has a history of mental illness, says he was at the mall “looking to kill someone.”

He intended to kill an adult one day prior to the senseless attack on Landen. However, he was unable to follow through and returned to the mall the next day and chose a child instead.

Aranda was a complete stranger to Landen and his mother at the time of the attack. The young boy was chosen at random.

Via Fox 5NY.com:

The boy’s mother said she and her son were with a friend and a friend’s child outside the Rainforest Café on the third floor of the mall around 10:15 a.m. when Aranda, whom they did not know, approached them.

Aranda came very close to them, so the boy’s mother asked if they were in the way and should move. Aranda then picked up her son, threw him off the balcony and fled the scene.

Landen’s family is asking for privacy during this matter and are not releasing any photos of him as he recovers.

However, those who want help can donate through the GoFundMe page or send cards and well wishes through a P.O. Box.

Prayers for Landen

Adele Announces Split from Husband Simon Konecki After Seven-Year Relationship

Adele is, unfortunately, saying “goodbye” to her husband, Simon Konecki. The couple has split after seven years together.

The separation was announced today (Apr. 19) in a statement released by representatives for Adele.

“Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always, they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”

Adele and Konecki, an entrepreneur/philanthropist, have a 6-year-old son together named Angelo.

The couple began dating in 2011, but has pretty much kept their relationship out of the public eye, splitting their private time between London and Beverly Hills.

“The reason her relationship works with Simon is because they are on the same page,” a source told People in 2016. “Their priority is their son, and Adele loves being a mother. Angelo is a very happy little boy.”

In 2017, the 30-year-old singer confirmed that she and Konecki, 44, had married after much speculation due to a ring being spotted on her left hand.

She was photographed without the ring in March 2019 while at a recording studio in New York City.

As news of the split was just announced, there’s no word if the couple has taken any action towards divorce. We wish them well during this time.

Police Called to Wendy Williams’ Mansion After Cheating Husband Arrives with U-Haul & Private Security

On the same day Kevin Hunter was officially fired from The Wendy Williams Show, cops were called to the estranged couple’s mansion.

Hunter arrived at the Livingston, New Jersey mansion on Thursday (Apr. 18) with a U-Haul minivan, assumingly to remove his belongings from the marital home. He was also accompanied by his own security detail, stationed in an unmarked vehicle.

However, soon after Hunter’s arrival, two police vehicles showed up and gathered around the house. Radar Online exclusively captured the scene.

“Maybe Wendy had him supervised while he was taking stuff out of the house,” an onlooker speculated to Radar at the time.

It turns out, Hunter, himself, was the one who called the police. The talk show host’s disgraced husband claimed he was being harassed by paparazzi.

The Blast exclusively obtained an audio recording of police responding to the call.

“The resident says there’s a news van outside his home that won’t leave him alone,” says the emergency dispatcher.

An officer responds: “We spoke with the caller as well as the press—both sides—and explained that they can be in the road and on the sidewalk, but not on their property.”

Interestingly, neither a news van nor paparazzi were seen in the photos published by Radar Online. Whether reporters for the site were the ones Hunter claimed was “harassing” him has yet to be revealed.

It’s unclear if Williams was present when police arrived at her home. However, she usually pre-tapes the Friday episodes of her show at the time Hunter and police were mulling around her home on Thursday.

Hours before the police scene unfolded at Williams’ home, Hunter was officially fired as an executive producer of the Wendy show. He will reportedly receive a $10 million payout to exit the show quietly.

Earlier this week, we reported that Williams had given Hunter 48 hours to vacate their shared home after seeing photos of her soon-to-be ex-husband driving his alleged mistress/baby mama around in a Rolls Royce and taking her on expensive dinner dates.

Williams filed for divorce last week, ending her 21-year marriage to Hunter.

Beyoncé Reveals One of Her Twins’ Heartbeats Stopped During “Extremely Difficult” Pregnancy

On Wednesday (Apr. 17), Beyoncé blessed the world by releasing her highly anticipated Netflix documentary Homecoming, giving fans an incredibly intimate, behind-the-scenes look at her iconic 2018 Coachella performance (rightfully nicknamed Beychella).

But things weren’t as glamorous as they looked on stage though.

Beyoncé got super real about how hard it was preparing for the show, considering she had just given births to twins months prior (following a difficult pregnancy), which took a huge toll on her body.

“I was supposed to do Coachella the year prior, but I got pregnant unexpectedly,” Beyoncé said. “It ended up being twins, which was even more of a surprise. My body went through more than I knew it could.”

According to Beyoncé, prior to birthing the twins, she had “an extremely difficult pregnancy.”

Bey revealed that by the time she gave birth, she was 218 pounds and had suffered from high blood pressure, toxemia, and preeclampsia.

Queen Bey’s complications didn’t stop there either, as giving birth proved to be a daunting task for the second-time mother as well.

“In the womb, one of my babies’ hearts paused a few times so I had to get an emergency C-section,” she said.

After suffering through such a traumatic pregnancy, returning to work wasn’t easy for Beyoncé, especially since most of her routines are so physically intensive.

Coachella marked Bey’s big return to the stage—her “first time back home,” she said (hence the documentary’s title “Homecoming”)—and rehearsing for several hours a day was harder for her than it was in the past because she didn’t feel like herself.

“And you know, a lot of the choreography is about feeling, so it’s not as technical, it’s your own personality that brings it to life,” she said. “That’s hard when you don’t feel like yourself. I had to rebuild my body from cut muscles. It took me a while to feel confident enough to … give my own personality.”

Beyond the physical, Beyoncé also explained how mentally taxing rehearsing was for her because all she wanted to do was spend time with her three children.

“In the beginning, there were so many muscle spasms and just internally, my body was not connected. My mind was not there. My mind wanted to be with my children,” she said.

“What people don’t see is the sacrifice. I have children, I have a husband, I have to take care of my body,” she added, recalling the days before she had children and could rehearse for 15 hours straight.

She continued: “It’s my first time home, back home on the stage after giving birth. I’m creating my own homecoming, and it’s hard. There were days that I thought I’d never be the same. I’d never be the same physically, my strength and endurance would never be the same.”

And Beyoncé was right. She wasn’t the same. She was actually BETTER.

In April 2018, she performed a 27-song set (twice … over two weekends!) that lasted more than 100 minutes, and she didn’t miss a single beat.

Homecoming: A Film By Beyoncé is available for streaming via Netflix.

Kevin Hunter Reportedly Paid $10 Million to Leave “The Wendy Williams Show” For Good

“Hit the road, Jack! And don’t you come back no more, no more, no more, no more!”

That’s probably the song Wendy Williams sang to her soon-to-be ex-husband Kevin Hunter as he packed up his office and left The Wendy Williams Show for good earlier this week.

A few days ago, we reported that Wendy had fired her husband from her daytime talk show, kicked him out of the home they shared together AND had the brand new gold Ferrari he bought for his alleged mistress (using Wendy’s money) towed.

According to TMZ, Hunter was officially given his walking papers Thursday (Apr. 18).

“Kevin Hunter is no longer an executive producer on ‘The Wendy Williams Show,'” a spokesperson for the show said.

Hunter served as an executive producer on the show and was also Wendy’s manager. On top of that, the now estranged couple shared several business ventures, including their production company.

It isn’t clear how they will dissolve their businesses, but one thing’s for sure … Mr. Hunter is no longer about of The Wendy Williams Show in ANY capacity.

In fact, a new report suggests that Hunter was given a handsome payout for his departure (which, apparently, was a “mutual parting” and not a firing as previously reproted).

Bossip reports:

Although other media have reported that Hunter was fired from his position as an executive producer on his wife’s show, a source with knowledge of the situation told BOSSIP it’s more of a mutual parting and he’ll be walking away with an eight-figure settlement.

Hunter will receive around $10 million to go away quietly, according to our source.

Meanwhile, TMZ reports that Kevin’s departure from Wendy was confirmed today, as his name was noticeably missing from the show’s end credits.

Hunter apologized to Wendy, their son and her fans earlier this week for “his recent actions” and said that he was going to take time out to reflect and “right some wrongs.”

Wendy Williams filed for divorce last week just weeks after Kevin Hunter’s alleged mistress Sharina Hudson gave birth to a baby girl.

Remy Ma Under Investigation for Allegedly Punching Love & Hip Hop Rival Brittney Taylor in the Face & Giving Her a Black Eye

Things went down (allegedly) between Love & Hip-Hop stars Remy Ma and Brittney Taylor at a benefit concert. Punches were thrown and now, police are investigating Remy, who is still on parole.

According to TMZ, Remy and Taylor were both attending the Petty Lou Benefit Concert on Tuesday (Apr. 16) in New York, where Remy was slated to perform. A verbal argument between the two LHHNY rivals became physical after Remy allegedly clocked Taylor in the face.

Via TMZ:

Brittney claims they “exchanged words” in the greenroom — relating to an attack on Remy’s stepdaughter, Dejanae, that happened a few weeks ago — and Remy threw the punch. Brittney claims Remy accused her of knowing about the attack on Dejanae.

Taylor took to Instagram on Wednesday (Apr. 17) and revealed her black eye to her followers. She was hesitant to bring the situation to social media out of embarrassment, but still called Remy out.

She wrote in part:

“It’s hard to even focus because of what occurred last night…I tried my best to cover it up with make up and move on but that still didn’t work. My Question is @remyma why did you really do this? #WHATHAPPENEDTOWOMANEMPOWERMENT #BlackLove? Smh”

Taylor was treated at a local hospital for her bruised eye and filed a police report the next day.

Though Remy has not been charged with anything, police have confirmed they are investigating the altercation.

Taylor has already retained a lawyer. “She wants Remy Ma prosecuted for what she did to her,” said attorney Sanford Rubenstein.

Taylor and Remy are foes on Love & Hip Hop: New York and have had several disagreements on the VH1 reality series.

Remy is still on parole until August 1st. The rapper served six years in prison for shooting and wounding a woman she accused of stealing $1,000 from her purse. Remy was released in 2014.

Correctional Officers Face Backlash After Taking Social Media Challenge Too Far: “Feeling Cute, Might Shoot Your Baby Daddy Today”

“Feeling cute, might shoot your baby daddy today…IDK.”

“Feeling cute, might just gas some inmates today, IDK.”

Correctional officers across the country are facing heavy backlash, even getting fired, for threatening to mistreat inmates while trying to be funny and participating in the popular #FeelingCute challenge.

Many of the problematic posts could be found in a now-private Facebook group, “Correctional Officer Life.”

Dozens of officers in Texas, Georgia, Oklahoma, and Missouri have been called out by social media and reprimanded by their departments for their not-so-cute meme posts.

According to America’s Police Problem, the unsettling memes range from “officers stating they may shoot people, plant drugs, use force, or leave inmates in the shower for [an] excessive amount of time.”

America’s Police Problem, a site dedicated to police accountability and abuses of power, has compiled nearly 40 instances of correctional officers taking the hashtag to a “dangerous level.”

The site’s post identifies the officers, provides links or screengrabs of offending posts, and in several cases, also includes their workplace or the city in which they patrol/live.

“Each one of these officers took an oath to honor the constitution, yet their actions on social media either break that oath or borderline break it,” the site states.

On Wednesday (Apr. 17), prison officials in Texas, Georgia, and Oklahoma confirmed to The Washington Post that they were aware of the viral trend and investigating the matter.

Jeremy Desel, spokesperson for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice confirmed to People that four of its officers were fired due to their #FeelingCute posts and two others had resigned because of outrage over their posts.

Desel said in a statement:

“The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is aware of the so-called ‘feeling cute challenge’ currently on social media impacting dozens of corrections and law enforcement agencies nationwide.

“Currently six of the more than 25,000 correctional officers employed by this agency are under investigation for on and off-duty conduct violations as a result of the alleged posting of inappropriate photographs on social media.

“These officers in no way represent the thousands of TDCJ employees who go to work every day taking public safety seriously in all ways.”

A spokesperson for the Missouri Department of Corrections confirmed they were investigating a corrections officer after they wrote: “Feeling cute. Might take your homeboy to the hole later.” The “hole” refers to solitary confinement.

The #FeelingCute hashtag being used by correctional officers is a take on the viral “feeling cute, might delete later” hashtag.

It was first adapted as workplace meme by UPS employee Courtney Muse, who wrote “Feeling cute, might deliver your package later, idk” on March 30th.

Outrage over these posts that have taken an innocuous hashtag too far comes on the heels of extreme mistreatment of inmates.

Inmates in a Brooklyn prison were left without power and little heat for over a week in February. And last year, Milwaukee officers were charged after a mentally ill inmate died after allegedly being denied water for one week.

You Big Dummy! A Man Tried to Sneak a Gun on a Plane By Wrapping It in Foil & Hiding It Inside a DVD Player

A man from Queens, New York was arrested at JFK Airport last Saturday (Apr. 13) after he was caught trying to sneak a gun on the plane in possibly the dumbest way ever.

For the record, attempting to sneak a firearm on a plane is already dumb, but the way this guy did it is just plain ridiculous.

According to Transportation Security Administration Officers, the man, whose identity wasn’t revealed, tried to hide the gun by wrapping it in aluminum foil and placing it inside a DVD player he put in his checked luggage.

Here’s how he got caught:

When his checked bag was put through a metal detector, an alarm sounded, prompting a thorough search by TSA agents.

Officials found a DVD player after searching the luggage, and upon further inspection, they discovered that there was an unloaded 9mm handgun inside the DVD player wrapped in aluminum foil.

After TSA Officers got in touch with Port Authority Police and alerted them of their findings, the gun’s presumed owner was found waiting at the gate for his flight to Mexico.

“Instead of catching his flight, the man was arrested and charged with weapons violations,” the TSA said in an official statement about the incident.

For those who are unaware, here are the TSA’ official guidelines on traveling with (LEGAL) firearms:

Firearms carried in checked bags must be unloaded, packed in a locked hard-sided container, and declared to the airline at check-in. Check with your airline to see if they allow firearms in checked bags. Read the guidelines for traveling with firearms.

When traveling, be sure to comply with the laws concerning possession of firearms as they vary by local, state and international government.

And PLEASE, for the love of God, don’t try to sneak a gun on an airplane by wrapping it in ALUMINUM FOIL.

George Zimmerman Got Kicked Off Tinder After He Was Caught Catfishing Under the Name “Carter”

George Zimmerman’s reputation is so bad that he’s resorted to Catfishing in order to hook up with women.

The dishonorable former neighborhood watchman was recently kicked off Tinder after he was caught using a fake profile to try and get dates.

Roughly six years after being acquitted of all charges in the murder of Trayvon Martin, George was out here portraying himself on the popular dating app as a self-employed consultant and a Virginia’s Liberty University Graduate looking for “carefree fun” under the false name Carter.

In one picture (he used his own pics btw), Zimmerman is seen with a big smile as he poses with a dog, and in another, he’s shown wearing a cap and gown.

According to screengrabs (via Creative Loafing), another photo shows him shirtless while holding a phone, exposing a tattoo on his chest.

“Carter’s” ‘profile stated: “I love the outdoors, fishing, camping and hiking. I love adventure [but] not into huge crowds. I’m also down for a quiet night with Longhorn [Steakhouse] take out.”

Most successful Catfishers use fake pictures in addition to fake names, but whatever.

Regardless… Tinder’s Community Guidelines strictly prohibit “impersonation” and it also warns users not to “pretend to be someone else.”

A spokesperson from Tinder confirmed that Zimmerman’s fake profile has since been removed for clearly violating their guidelines.

“At Tinder, we take our users’ safety very seriously and our team has removed this profile from our platform,” the company said in a statement.

“We utilize a network of industry-leading automated and manual moderation and review tools, systems and processes — and spend millions of dollars annually — to prevent, monitor and remove bad actors who have violated our Community Guidelines and Terms of Use from our app.”

How embarrassing! Even more embarrassing is the fact that this isn’t the first time George Zimmerman has been booted from an online dating platform.

He was also removed from Bumble back in February after he was caught trolling for dates, marking the second time he was removed from that particular app since December, a spokesperson said.

“We have blocked and banned him again after we were informed by our users that he had created a new unverified profile,” the Bumble spokesperson stated.

Daycare Teachers Accused of Force-Feeding Children As They Cried, One Allegedly Hit a Child in the Face With a Plate

Pictured (L-R): Stephanie Radke, Maura Healy and Mariah Flemister

Three now-former daycare teachers are facing misdemeanor child endangerment charges after police say force-fed solid food to two children, holding the kids’ mouths clothes and tilting their heads back as they cried.

24-year-old Stephanie Radke, 28-year-old Maura Healy and 19-year-old Mariah Flemister were each charged with battery and endangering the life of a child while working at Little People Learning Center in Downers Grove, Illinois.

Radke is also accused of hitting a child in the face with a plastic plate.

“The alleged battery and endangerment was reported to us in mid-January and the investigation wrapped up in early April with charges being filed,” Downers Grove police spokesman Bill Budds said. “Warrants were issued and they turned themselves in on the charges.”

Healy was released from jail after posting 10 percent of her $5,000 bail, while Radke and Flemister were released after posting 10 percent of their $3,000 bails.

Via the Daily Herald:

A woman answering the phone at Little People Learning Center Tuesday identified herself as the acting director and would only give her first name as Janice. She said she was uncomfortable giving her last name because she had not done anything wrong.

Janice said all three women were fired on Jan. 17, once the allegations came to light.

She blamed the charges on a medical student she hired who rushed to call DCFS after witnessing the action.

She called the situation a “feeding infraction” that has been blown out of proportion.

She said a medical student training to be a doctor and working at the center saw the infraction and reported it to DCFS without checking with her.

She said she first learned of the complaint when a DCFS worker came to the business.

“DCFS is investigating an allegation of abuse related to the reported incident at Little People Learning Center, 2144 Curtiss St.” Director of Communications Jassen Strokosch said Tuesday evening. “That investigation is pending.”

Janice said she likely would have fired Radke for hitting the 1-year-old girl with the plate, but said it was an accident as Radke attempted to remove the plate from the child’s reach.

Each of the three women are next due in court on May 15.

This is totally unrelated … but all three of those women look much older than their ages.

WATCH: 76ers Players Lose It After Someone Farts on the Bench

Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid was benched in Game 3 of the NBA Playoffs against the Brooklyn Nets due to a knee injury, and he probably regretted where he chose to sit after someone let out an apparently smelly fart on the bench.

During a break, Amir Johnson of the 76ers came over to the bench as cameras panned over to the inactive players, and judging by their reactions, someone let a nasty one rip near them.

Embiid could be seen covering his nose as other Sixers players seemed equally disgusted, with one player fanning in front of his face.

All farts aside, the 76ers ended up defeating the Nets 131-115, which put them up 2-1 in the series.
