Viral Video Shows New Jersey Mom Teaching Toddler Daughter Stripper Moves, Police Reportedly Called

Quarantining and social distancing really has some people stooping to desperate measures for entertainment.

A New Jersey mother is under fire after footage of her teaching her young daughter how to strip has gone viral.

In the video, the young child climbs all the way to the top of a pole as her mother, who is dressed in lingerie, roots her on and claps.

The mother of the child then gets on the pole herself and has her young daughter sit on her as she does tricks.

The idea of a mother teaching this to their young daughter and then sharing it with the world is sickening, to say the least.

According to sources, the child in the video is 2 or 3 years old. It’s also being said that many of the woman’s followers on social media called the police to report the video.

No word so far on whether law enforcement really was contacted and are getting involved, but hopefully they will.

What do you think about the video? Do you think it’s OK for young girls to learn “stripper moves” on a pole?

WATCH: Kentucky Woman Says She Cut Hole in Face Mask to Make It “A Lot Easier to Breathe”

Whew chile, the stupidity!

A Kentucky woman with not a lot of common sense was seen on video shopping with a huge hole cut in the middle of her protective mask, which she claimed made it “easier to breathe.”

Uhm … OK?!?

Joe Samaan, a gas station clerk at S J Food Mart in Lexington, saw the woman entering the shop with a ripped mask and immediately pulled his phone out to record the unbelievable sight.

“Where did you get that mask from?” Samaan asked the woman as she approached the counter to pay for her gas.

“Well, since we have to wear them and it makes it hard to breathe, this makes it a lot easier to breathe,” she replied.

Shocked, the clerk responded: “Cutting it?” Then he joked: “Yeah, I’ll do that too, thanks for the advice.”

The woman then leaves the store after telling Samaan to “have a good day.”

The clip was originally posted on TikTok over the weekend under the title “Karen Mask” and has already been viewed more than 4 million times with more than 800K likes and over 9,000 comments.

The CDC advises that masks should completely cover the mouth and the nose “to protect other people in case you are infected.” And this woman’s mask totally defeats the purpose of wearing one.

As of Monday, Kentucky had over 5,100 confirmed cases of coronavirus and 253 deaths, Gov. Andy Beshear said.

California Man Wears KKK Hood While Shopping at Grocery Store in Town Nicknamed “Klantee” Because of Its Racist History

Just when you thought things in 2020 couldn’t get any worse … a man wearing a Klu Klux Klan hood was spotted shopping at a grocery store in San Diego.

Several photos of the man emerged on social media showing him with the KKK mask on walking around the store and casually adding items to his shopping cart at the Vons store on Mission Gorge Road in Santee, California near San Diego on Saturday (May 2).

“The area’s been a hub of white supremacist and skinhead activity for many years, earning the nickname Klantee,” Nico Pitney of NowThisNews tweeted Saturday.

While many on social media are calling out Vons for allowing the man to be there and openly display and represent racism, hatred, and white supremacy, the store claims they eventually made the man remove his mask in the store.

Tammy Giles, regional director of the Anti-Defamation League of San Diego, tweeted about her anger over the Vons in Santee not doing anything about the masked racist.

“Don’t know which angers me more—the person wearing this or the fact that no one in management at Vons Santee did anything about it,” Giles wrote. “I would be happy to educate your team. San Diego is #NoPlaceForHate.”

Photos from one Twitter user show that management at the store “eventually” made the man remove his mask and allowed him to continue to shop in the store.

One shopper at the store spoke to news reporters about how the whole encounter left her in shock.

“I was in disbelief. He was behind me in line. Standing quietly,” Melissa S. told the Times of San Diego. “A man in a wheelchair went past and saluted him and he laughed. I took the photo because I couldn’t believe what I was witnessing. I’ve grown up in Santee and have never seen such racism right before my eyes.”

Law enforcement are now investigating the incident. Santee Mayor John Minto released the following statement:

“Detectives from the Sheriff’s Department are looking into the matter and will pursue any appropriate criminal charges. The Sheriff’s Department does not condone hate or any acts of intolerance in our communities. We are a county that is welcoming of people from all backgrounds.”

Vons also released a statement about the incident that took place:

“At Vons, fostering an environment of courtesy, dignity and respect is one of our highest priorities, and we work hard to hold everyone in our stores to these standards, including customers.

“Unfortunately, an alarming and isolated incident occurred at our Vons store in Santee, where a customer chose an inflammatory method of wearing a face covering. Needless to say, it was shocking.

“Several members of our team asked the customer to remove it, and all requests were ignored until the customer was in the checkout area.

“This was a disturbing incident for our associates and customers, and we are reviewing with our team how to best handle such inappropriate situations in the future.”

2020 just keeps getting “better” and “better.”

Security Guard Shot & Killed at Family Dollar in Flint, Michigan After Telling Customer to Put on Face Mask

Police in Michigan said a security guard at a Family Dollar store in Flint was shot and killed after telling a customer to wear a face mask as mandated by state officials amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Michigan State Police Lt. David Kaiser said 43-year-old Calvin Munerlyn, a father of nine, died at a local hospital after he was shot in the head on Friday (May 1).

Witnesses at the store told police that Munerlyn and a woman got into a verbal altercation because her daughter wasn’t wearing a mask, and surveillance video from the store confirmed the incident.

The security footage showed that the woman, later identified by police as 45-year-old Sharmel Teague, started yelling and spitting at Munerlyn after he asked her and her daughter to leave the store and instructed a cashier not to serve them.

Security footage also showed that immediately after the altercation, the woman left the scene in an SUV, but returned about 20 minutes later with her son and husband, who then yelled at Munerlyn about disrespecting his wife.

The man then pulled out a handgun and shot Munerlyn in the back of the head. The security guard was rushed to the hospital and was later pronounced dead.

Family Dollar has not made a statement about the fatal shooting.

While Sharmel Teague has since been arrested, her husband, 44-year-old Larry Edward Teague, and son, 23-year-old Ramonyea Bishop, are still at large, police said.

All three suspects are facing a charge of first-degree premeditated murder, which carries a mandatory sentence of life in prison with no chance of parole if they are convicted as charged.

Pictured: Larry Teague, Ramonyea Bishop and Sharmel Teague

Larry Teague and Ramonyea Bishop are also both facing several weapons charges, while Sharmel Teague faces an additional charge of violating Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s order to wear face coverings in enclosed spaces.

“This is senseless. Over a mask! Over a mask?” Munerlyn’s cousin, Tina James, told WJRT. “This is not the way to do things right now. We need to come together.”

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Larry Teague and Ramonyea Bishop has been asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-422-JAIL. A $1,000 reward is available for information leading to their arrests.

Both suspects should be considered armed and dangerous, Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton said. “We’re confident that we’ll get them,” he said.

Calvin Munerlyn, also known as “Duper,” leaves behind nine children and his wife, Leyton said.

A GoFundMe page for Munerlyn was created two days ago and has already raised more than $60,000.

Kodak Black “Badly Beaten” by 7 Guards in Kentucky Prison, 1 Guard Flicked His Genitals & Said “You’re Not So Gangster Now” (Report)

Kodak Black has been in jail for nearly a year for gun charges and, unfortunately, the experience has been worse than expected.

According to the rapper’s representatives, Kodak was attacked by several prison guards at the Big Sandy Penitentiary in Kentucky.

The reps were told this information by other inmates because Kodak currently does not have any phone or visitation privileges due to a previous altercation with guards at another facility.

Kodak’s reps described the incident via his official social media accounts:

“Friday night he was badly beaten while in cuffs, by 7 guards at Big Sandy KY. They struck him in the head repeatedly with a metal object, Then after one of the guards flicked his genitals and said ‘you’re not so gangster now, you’re gonna need bigger balls to survive.'”

https://www.instagram.com/p/B_uhYbflL-t/

Bradford Cohen, Kodak’s lawyer, also issued a statement, adding that he has requested help from the Justice Department to launch an investigation into the matter.

“This is true injustice,” Cohen wrote. “I have requested that Big Sandy preserve all video and conduct a full investigation. I have also reached out to DOJ, as I feel that a 3rd party investigation needs to take place immediately.”

Last year, Kodak was sentenced to for 46 months in prison for falsifying information on a gun application. He has repeatedly claimed that he was being mistreated and abused in prison.

While incarcerated in a Miami jail, he got into a fight with a guard which resulted in his phone and visitation privileges suspended for six months (which has technically passed).

Kodak and his team believe the rapper was set up and drugged prior to the Miami incident.

Nicolas Cage to Play “Tiger King” Joe Exotic in New Scripted Series

Nicolas Cage will play Joe Exotic in an upcoming eight-episode scripted series from Imagine Television Studios and CBS Television Studios.

According to Variety, the series will be based on the Texas Monthly article “Joe Exotic: A Dark Journey Into the World of a Man Gone Wild,” written by Leif Reigstad.

The show will focus on Joe Schreibvogel and it will delve into how he became known as “Joe Exotic” as well as the wild antics that followed.

In addition to starring as the series’ titular character, Nicolas Cage will also serve as executive producer.

The Netflix docu-series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness quickly went viral as soon as it premiered on the streaming giant, with viewers becoming engrossed in the crazy story of Joe Exotic and his arch-nemesis, big cat sanctuary owner Carole Baskin.

According to data from Nielson, the series is estimated to have reached an audience of 34.3 million unique viewers in the first 10 days of its release.

The success of Tiger King has sparked multiple projects based on Exotic, who is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence for charges including attempting to hire hitmen to kill Baskin.

Country Singer Cady Groves Dies at Age 30 Just Weeks After Saying COVID-19 Lockdown Left Her With “Awful” Mental Health

Country singer Cady Groves has died at the age of 30 just weeks after she said that the lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic had left her with “awful” mental health.”

According to her family, the “This Little Girl” singer, who previously lost two of her brothers to prescription overdoses, both at age 28, passed away Saturday (May 2) at her home in Nashville, Tennessee.

Groves’ family said an autopsy revealed she died of natural causes, and foul play and self-harm had both been ruled out by the coroner.

The singer’s brother, who announced the sad news of her death on Twitter, said she’d suffered undisclosed medical issues last fall that may have resurfaced and caused her death.

“The medical examiner has completed autopsy and there was no indication of foul play or self harm. Simply put, Cady Groves died of natural causes,” Cody Groves wrote on Facebook.

“She had some medical problems last fall and our best guess at this point until further testing is complete is that they had resurfaced.”

Cody said his little sister was looking forward to releasing her new album in the coming months.

“Our latest in depth conversation (since most were witty banter) was her sending me songs to critique and give feedback on,” he said.

Cady’s team said she had spent the past year or so working on new music and had recently signed with a new record label.

“Those closest to Cady want people to know she loved music, laughter, cooking, tacos and, especially, her family,” her team said in a statement.

“As her admirers mourn her loss online, Cady’s family requests fans refrain from speculation. Cady was excited about her new recordings and getting out on the road to support them.”

Cady’s team said they’re hoping to posthumously release her upcoming EP soon, which she’d been working to release this summer.

In her final posts on social media, Cady talked about her struggles with mental health amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“Week..6? Haven’t left my house but about 3 times and that was just to drive around in my car so I wouldn’t go insane,” she shared on Instagram in a post dated April 15th.

“I don’t have a television, so I’ve had to REALLY just be alone with myself and my thoughts and fears and anxiety in my bedroom without anybody here in Nashville.

“Some days my mental health is AWFUL. I feel completely alone and scared and far from everyone I love and all I can do is keep myself busy and push through. “Some days are better. I know that the way I feel isn’t special because we are ALL living through this separately, but together.

“It’s okay to be scared and to have days where you just cry and wear your hair in a bun and don’t change out of your pajamas. But it’s also okay to take it day by day-like I did today-and have hope. My heart is with you all.”

https://www.instagram.com/p/B_BRPwXF2Kg/

She complained in other posts about “feeling defeated” from what seemed like the “beginning of the world ending,” adding in a later post that felt like she was going “batsh** crazy.”

In another post, dated April 12th, she wrote: “I miss my family so freaking much. Today is hard.”

Cady’s brother said in a previous Twitter post that his family had limited details on his sister’s death, but was later forced to clarify to fight back against “a cluster of twisted misinformation” online sparked by her posts and his vague initial announcement.

He said in his first post that he hoped Groves would be reunited with their two brothers, Casey and Kelly, who died in 2007 and 2014, respectively—both from prescription drug overdoses and both at the age of 28, according to The Oklahoman.

Cady Groves’ music career started more than a decade ago with the 2009 release of her debut EP A Month of Sundays. She started out as a pop singer before transitioning to country music.

Cady went on to release three more EPS, including 2010’s The Life of a Pirate, 2012’s This Little Girl and 2015’s Dreams.

“Groves’ high spirits and winning stage presence made her a crowd favorite from the very beginning,” a statement from her team read.

“As part of the Bamboozle Roadshow, she toured with Boys Like Girls, LMFAO, Good Charlotte and Third Eye Blind and was continuing to play shows for fans in Nashville as she made the transition to Country.

“She has worked with a diverse array of creatives, including late producer/writer busbee, Americana legend Jim Lauderdale, Savan Kotecha, Kristian Lundin and Carl Falk, as well as recording projects for The Ready Set and Plug in Stereo.”

Cady’s family has requested that donations be made in her name to the Music Health Alliance or MusiCares, in lieu of flowers.

J-Boog’s Baby Mama Says She Doesn’t Like Black People: They’re “Ghetto & I Don’t Like Ghetto”

J-Boog’s baby mama is about as ignorant as they come.

In video footage captured by Gossip of the City, Boog’s BM admits to not liking black people. However, she claims she is not racist because she’s mixed.

“I like the Mexicans and the whites. I don’t really like the blacks, but I’m not racist cause I’m all of them,” Jondelle Michelle Lee says in the video she shared on social media.

Boog’s baby mama goes on to say that black people are ghetto and that’s why she doesn’t like them.

“Black people are ghetto and I don’t like ghetto,” she said.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwSz6qTEZW4&feature=emb_title

She also tells her followers that black girls hated on her growing up and were envious of her because she dated popular dudes.

“When I was growing up all the black girls use to be hating on me. They use to always try to talk mess and try to lie on me. I always had the flyest dudes or the popular dudes if you want to say. And the girls used to be hating and like go tell, and lie. It will always be the black ghetto looking girls hating on me.”

Lee said, despite her dislike for black women, she does like black men and “proper black” people.

“Now that I’m older I don’t care too much for them. I like black guys, of course, but I don’t really like black girls cause they ghetto. I like the proper black people if that make sense to y’all,” she says in the clip

Though they’re not currently together, J-Boog and his Jondelle were said to be longtime sweethearts at one point and have three children together.

Whew chile … he really knows how to pick ’em!

Angolan Polygamist Who Fathered 281 Children From 47 Wives Dies of Cancer at 73 Years Old (PHOTOS)

A 73-year-old man in Angola who fathered 281 children from 47 wives has died.

Francisco Tchikuteny Sabalo, a popular Angolan polygamist also known as “Big Dad” or “Pai Grande,” reportedly passed away on April 14th from prostate cancer at the age of 73.

Reports out of Africa noted that at least 1,000 people attended the funeral at Mungongo Island in Angola on April 19th in direct defiance of President João Lourenço’s order banning large gatherings to help slow the spread of coronavirus.

According to VOA News, family members said 125 of Sabalo’s 281 children predeceased him, leaving him with 156 surviving children and 250 grandchildren and 67 great-grandchildren.

After Sabalo was diagnosed with prostate cancer, he sought treatment in Luanda and elsewhere over a year ago, but decided to return home so that “if God called him, at least he would die beside the children and their mothers,” his son, Lumbaneny Sabalo, said.

Francisco Sabalo reportedly practiced polygamy despite it being prohibited in Angola.

One relative said Sabalo was a Christian who belonged to the New Ecclesiastic Order of Angola.

He was buried in a cemetery dedicated to his family, which now includes 42 current wives. Another seven had left the family earlier, family members said.

Back in 2015, Sabalo told VOA News that he prized education and spent over $1,500 a year on school supplies for all of his children.

He also reportedly wanted to see some of his children trained in science and technology.

Three of his daughters are currently studying medical sciences and two sons are learning computer science, all at the high school level, VOA News noted, and Lumbaneny volunteered as an elementary school teacher for five years.

He was “a complete human being” who prized family and championed education, one speaker said of Sabalo during his funeral service.

Gonçalves Hunandumbo, the director of the island’s school, also praised Sabalo for supporting education and starting “a revolution against illiteracy.”

Sabalo’s first wife, Eva Bartolomeu, said her husband expressed wishes of keeping his family together before he died.

“I will do anything to keep his children fed and OK,” she said.

WATCH: Teaser for Remotely Filmed “RHOA” Season 12 Reunion Released & the Ladies Are Holding Nothing Back

The time has finally come!

After it was unclear if we would even get a reunion special, the first teaser for the three-part Real Housewives of Atlanta season 12 reunion has been released.

The entire cast joined Andy Cohen via video chat to wrap the season, and despite filming remotely from their own homes, there was epic shade and the ladies went all the way in on each other.

The 45-second clip shows Kenya Moore spilling the tea that NeNe Leakes and someone else (possibly Marlo Hampton) were sleeping with the same man at the same time.

Porsha Williams then goes off on Eva Marcille for having her baby’s name in her mouth.

“First of all, I will never forgive you for ever speaking on my child,” Porsha yelled and getting close to her camera. “Do you see me? Do you hear what I am saying?”

And when Eva tried to refute the claim, Porsha snapped back: “Yes, the f**k you did!”

NeNe Leakes and Kandi Burruss also seem to reignite their war after several seasons of mutual peace.

“I’m embedded in your motherf**king brain, bitch,” Kandi told NeNe. “And you’re gonna keep knowing me.”

NeNe responded with a “Bye, girl,” and the teaser ended with the original housewife knocking down her camera, cutting the feed and leaving the other ladies stunned.

According to Us Weekly, there will be three parts to the RHOA reunion, with the first episode airing May 10th.

Part one will focus on Kenya’s relationship with her estranged husband Marc Daly and the status of her friendship with Porsha. Marlo and Tanya Sam will also join the ladies to discuss the Greece trip.

In part two, Porsha and Eva will air out their issues. This is also the episode where NeNe abruptly cuts off her camera and leaves.

The truth about Snake-gate will hopefully come to light when Yovanna Momplaisir joins the ladies in part three. Cynthia Bailey and Kenya will also discuss their friendship.

As Cohen noted following the reunion taping, the Atlanta Housewives are trailblazers, setting the bar for reality television in this strange time of social distancing.

RHOA was unable to film their usual reunion show and was forced to do so remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic and stay-at-home orders in Georgia.

Tune in May 10th on Bravo to watch the RHOA women throw history-making shade.

Hiker Falls to Her Death While Posing for Photo on Cliff to Celebrate End of Coronavirus Lockdown

A woman from Kazakhstan was reportedly killed after she fell more than 100 feet off a cliff in Turkey while posing for a photo to celebrate the end of the area’s coronavirus lockdown.

31-year-old Olesia Suspitsina was out hiking with a friend Sunday (Apr. 26) in Duden Park—located in Antalya, Turkey—the same day the government lifted a weeks-long shelter-in-place order.

“We came to the park in the evening, we drank wine,” the unnamed friend explained to News1. “Then we were talking to a friend with a video. When Olesia was talking on video, she asked me to take a picture of herself.”

After Suspitsina climbed over a safety fence in the park and posed for an image in front of the waterfalls, she slipped on the grass, lost her balance and plummeted 115 feet to her death right in front of her friend.

Horrified, her friend immediately called emergency services and Suspitsina’s lifeless body was found and pulled from the water.

The body was taken to the morgue of Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy, where authorities determined her death was an accident, relatives said.

One grieving relative told the Daily Mail: “Olesya was a smart and cheerful person. She set goals and made them happen.”

Her close friend Olga Kravchuk said: “Olesya always loved the sea and dreamed of living in Turkey. She made her dream come true. More than anything she loved the feeling of freedom. This is an irreparable loss. My heart is broken.”

Olesia had reportedly worked as a tour guide in the city for the last five years.

Her body is scheduled to be transported from Turkey back to her home in Kazakhstan on Saturday (May 2). She’ll be buried in her native city of Kostanay, according to reports.

Prior to the incident, Olesia wrote in a post on Instagram: “I will always admire the beauty of the Turkish nature. This is my paradise.”

According to the Daily Saba, the Düden Waterfalls (pictured above)—located in Turkey’s southern province—sees about 700,000 tourists each year.

Turkey has closed schools, restaurants and cafes in an effort to curb a surge in COVID-19 cases.

Though some workplaces are still open, officials have imposed partial stay-at-home orders and have largely closed borders and slowed domestic movement.

Turkey is ranked 7th globally in confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 120K cases and over 3,000 deaths as of Friday (May 1).

Man Shot & Killed Postal Worker When She Refused to Deliver His COVID-19 Stimulus Check Because of His “Aggressive” Chihuahua

An Indiana man is facing serious charges after he allegedly shot and killed a postal worker who refused to deliver his mail because of his “aggressive” pet chihuahua.

21-year-old Tony Cushingberry-Mays was arrested Wednesday (Apr. 29) and charged for the murder of USPS mail carrier Angela Summers.

Cushingberry-Mays is accused of shooting Summers, 45, as she delivered mail Monday afternoon near his home on North Denny Street in Indianapolis, Indystar.com reported.

19-year-old Alondra Salazar was asleep in her home on North Denny Street when she awoke to a loud bang at her door.

She said she looked through her peephole and didn’t see anything, but when she opened the door, she found Summers slumped on the porch suffering from a gunshot wound.

Salazar said there was blood and undelivered mail beside Summers, along with a small bottle of hand sanitizer and a can of pepper spray. She said she held Summers’ hand and comforted her until paramedics arrived.

“She couldn’t speak, she was hyperventilating,” Salazar said of Summers. “I think she said something about her kid and that’s when I started crying.”

Summers, a mother-of-one who’d just joined the U.S. Postal Service in 2018, was rushed to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead about an hour-and-a-half later. The coroner classified her death as a homicide.

After Cushingberry-Mays’ arrest, he told police that he saw Summers walk past his house Monday afternoon (Apr. 27).

Mail delivery to the man’s home had been temporarily suspended due to an ongoing issue with an “aggressive” dog at the residence, court documents stated.

Cushingberry-Mays said he followed Summers as she continued her route and repeatedly asked her for his home’s mail, but the woman ignored him.

The man said he was standing on the porch steps of his home about six feet away from Summers when she turned and pepper-sprayed him.

Cushingberry-Mays told investigators he immediately pulled a gun from his waistband and fired a single shot at Summers. According to the affidavit, the man “acknowledged the mace was not deadly, but led to discomfort from his asthma.”

Cushingberry-Mays then dropped the gun and fled to his aunt’s house, the criminal complaint states.

Paul Toms—president of the Indianapolis branch of the National Association of Letter Carriers—and another person who witnessed the shooting told WTHR 13 News that the confrontation between Cushingberry-Mays and Summers happened because Cushingberry-Mays was upset about not getting his COVID-19 stimulus check.

Summers, however, couldn’t deliver his mail because of the ongoing issues with a dog at his residence.

Prosecutors said the USPS Linwood Indianapolis Post Office sent a letter to the residence on April 13th saying they would have to pick up their mail from the post office until the issues with their dog were resolved.

Toms said that, in compliance with USPS guidelines, Summers had reported an issue with a dog at the home, and after three warning letters were sent, mail delivery to the home was stopped for about two weeks and “wasn’t even given to Angela that day of the incident.”

Toms added: “She was just following protocol and the Postal Service curtailed the mail. It was not her fault that she didn’t have the mail that day. My understanding is that she tried to explain that the mail could be picked up at another location and an argument ensued. I heard she was called horrible, horrible names.”

Two days before the fatal shooting, Summers wrote a lengthy post on Facebook complaining about a Chihuahua barking at her. “This dog is a nasty devil that I’ve actually had to spray—twice!” she said.

Summers also wrote that the family threatened her with violence when the post office stopped delivering their mail due to the dog complains and said that she felt “seriously unsafe” after the threats.

Summers wrote in the post dated April 25th:

“So there’s this house with a chichi. The dog is a nasty devil that I’ve actually had to spray – twice!

“The people just let it run because it’s a chihuahua, what kind of trouble could possibly be to anyone else, right? The kids have been out with it and twice I’ve made them gather it and take it inside. Adults have been out with it and twice I’ve told them to take it inside.

“Three times they’ve gotten a dog warning card in their mail box with their address on it. [That’s] more generous than I usually am to most problem owners. Still the dog is allowed to run loose.

“A month ago, the last time the dog was loose and wouldn’t stop coming after me, they stopped receiving mail. Now stimulus checks are going out. Guess who did not get one yesterday.

“This house had to checks. One was addressed to a former resident, DW. One was addressed to a current resident, AC. Before I left the office, I put DW’s check in to forward because there’s a forwarding order for it.

“When I got to the street and saw the check for the current person, I pulled it to go with the rest of the ‘dog letter’ mail (they have to sign a dog letter before they can get their mail or re-establish delivery).

“After I pass this street, I get a call asking if this house got a stimulus check today. Well, no, I respond, all of their mail is on hold until they sign a dog letter. There was a check for them but they get nothing until they sign that latter. What about DW, I am asked. Well, he got a check too, but I put it in to be forwarded, I respond.

“So this morning DW and his lady mouthpiece are on the phone – again – calling to ask about that check. Where is it going? When was it sent there? Can’t they just pick it up at the post office? (Why the stock answer is not, “sure you can pick it up at the post office once you rent a PO box” is beyond me, but you know 15 years in sales doesn’t just turn off because you said so!)

“Anyway, [these] are utterly ridiculous questions and at this point I’m done with the whole mess. They’ve already involved a clerk, two carriers, and a supervisor and I’ve had to REPEAT myself five times in less than 24 hours. I am over these lunatics.

“Today I’m walking past said house and loads of people are on the porch…I mean LOADS. There are a half dozen kids running around too. And the chichi. The chichi starts backing and I move to the sidewalk to pass the house.

“A woman stands up and hollers for my attention. She tells me that she’s the ‘lady of this house’ and that if I EVER mace her dog again she’ll personally mace me. (Yup, that was definitely a threat to a federal employee *note*)

“Then she proceeds to yell ‘bitch this and kick your a** bitch that’ at me. I keep walking. I get to the other side of this house’s yard and am putting mail in the [box] at the next house and she’s yelling that if I talk to these kids again she’s going to set a pit bull loose on my bitch ass (two clear threats now, I’m beginning to feel seriously unsafe, how exactly does race factor in this, is she threatening to commit a hate crime against a federal employee?)

“I turn to go to the next house (yup, quite literally turning my back on that sh**show) and she finished up with ‘And you BETTER deliver my mail, bitch!’ (Is she really serious? Like I’m gonna set one single foot on that porch between now and when hell freezes over after being verbally assaulted and threatened with physical harm and a hate crime…)

“I spoke not one single word. Not one. Oh, most assuredly she was showing her a** for her friends and family. Oh, most assuredly there’s a form I can fill out about that too. I do not know what it is, but man these people either love me to death or hate me with a driven passion.”

Immediately after the shooting, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service launched an investigation and offered a $50,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest.

Tony Cushingberry-Mays was taken into police custody on Wednesday, though it wasn’t clear if the arrest was made due to information obtained through the reward.

“U.S. Postal Inspectors are charged with ensuring the safety and security of USPS employees, and that is a charge that we do not take lightly,” Felicia George, USPI Detroit Division Acting Inspector in Charge, said in a statement.

“Anyone who threatens, assaults, or otherwise harms a postal employee fulfilling her critical mission will be apprehended and held fully accountable.”

Cushingberry-Mays is facing a number of federal charges, including (1) murder in the second degree, (2) assaulting, resisting or impeding certain officers or employees, and (3) discharging a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence.

The man said he’d never spoken to Summers before April 27th. He admitted to the shooting, but told investigators he “did not mean to kill the letter carrier, but wanted to scare her.”

According to federal law, killing a federal employee while on duty can be punishable by death or life in prison.

“Angela was such a joy to be around, she was such a breath of fresh air. This is the worst thing that’s happened in my career,” Paul Toms, president of the Indianapolis branch of the National Association of Letter Carriers, told The Daily Beast.

“This is a federal crime but more importantly this is a senseless crime that should have never happened. It breaks my heart.”

A GoFundMe has been established to help with Summers’ funeral expenses.

NFL Linebacker Telvin Smith Arrested for Knowingly Having Sex With 17-Year-Old, Offered Her $200 to Keep Quiet

Former NFL linebacker Telvin Smith has been arrested for having sex with a 17-year-old girl multiple times.

Smith—who was signed to the Jacksonville Jaguars until 2018—was arrested on Wednesday (Apr. 29) and charged with unlawful sexual activity with certain minors.

The charge is a second-degree felony in Florida.

He was arrested at his Jacksonville home in a gated community. He was released later that day on a $50,003 bond.

According to the police report, DNA evidence proved Smith, 29, had sex multiple times with a 17-year-old girl at his home and in his car last year.

The two first met at the girl’s place of employment and she told Smith that she had just turned 17. A witness corroborated that Smith was aware of the girl’s age. They continued to communicate via social media.

The report states that after the first sexual encounter, Smith offered the girl $200 to keep quiet. She initially refused the money, but ultimately took $100.

He also told her to call him her “mentor” if anyone ever questioned their relationship.

Police have been investigating the matter at least since last year. Police spent several hours at his home in November and towed his Cadillac Escalade. The matter was connected to the sex with a minor investigation.

A court date has not been scheduled.

Smith was drafted to the Jaguars in 2014 and remained with the team until he decided to take personal time off in 2018, leaving behind $9.75 million last season.

With three years left on his contract—earning around $10 million per year—Smith could return to the Jaguars. However, this is could now be jeopardy due to the arrest.

“The Jaguars are aware of the report involving former linebacker Telvin Smith,” the team said in a statement. “The club is unable to comment further on this ongoing investigation.”

Iggy Azalea & Playboi Carti Reportedly Welcome Their First Child Together, A Baby Boy!

Congratulations are in order for Iggy Azalea and Playboi Carti. The couple reportedly just became parents.

According to reports Azalea, 29, and Carti, 23, welcomed their first child together over the weekend, a baby boy!

There has not been an official announcement from the new parents, but DJ Akademiks confirmed the news after he “talked to some people.”

The baby news is even more of a surprise given that it was never officially reported that Azalea was even pregnant. Rumors of a pregnancy swirled last year, but faded out after nothing was ever confirmed.

Interestingly, Azalea has been absent from social media since December, possibly in an effort to keep her pregnancy as private as possible.

Azalea and Carti began dating in 2018.

Virginia Teen Dies 2 Days After Writing on Facebook That She’d “Seen Papa Legba”

The recent death of a Virginia teen has been blamed on her practicing Haitian Voodoo spells to summon the deity known as “Papa Legba.”

19-year-old Katelyn “Kat” Restin was found dead after she allegedly drowned in a bathtub, according to posts on social media from her friends.

Restin’s unexpected death came just two days after she claimed to have seen Papa Legba apparently after a summoning spell people warned her not to try.

Papa Legba is a “loa,” which are spirits of Haitian Vodou and Louisiana Voodoo.

Legba represents a West African and Caribbean Voodoo god and has many different names depending on the region in which he’s worshipped, though he’s most commonly known in Haiti as Papa Legba.

According to a description of Papa Legba from Wikipedia, Legba “stands at a spiritual crossroads and gives (or denies) permission to speak with the spirits of Guinee, and is believed to speak all human languages.”

Papa Legba was famously depicted in 2013’s American Horror Story: Coven (Season 3) as a crossroads demon and the character was portrayed by Lance Reddick. The character briefly returned in 2018’s American Horror Story: Apocalypse (Season 8).

Katelyn was a part of a group on social media that practices spells, and one day she decided to get into “voodoo,” allegedly to get back at her ex-girlfriend, who is Black.

When people warned her not to play around with that stuff, she clapped back on Twitter, saying that there’s nothing wrong with trying something new.

“Let people live and have their own religion,” she wrote in a post dated March 29th. “If someone is into something different accept that. Stop saying ‘no you come from God.’ I’m Wiccan and I always will be so shut the f**k up and let me be.”

Three weeks later, Kat posted on April 17th that she’d “seen Papa Legba” and was “scared.”

Two days later, she “passed away unexpectedly in her mother’s home,” according to her obituary, which also notes that she “was a proud new mom and adored her baby, Aaliyah.”

Kat’s obituary continues: “She was always the bright spirit of any gathering, and her resilience to keep going in challenging times inspired many of her family and friends. Katelyn always will be so deeply loved and very missed by all.”

Posts on social media suggest that Katelyn’s death was supposedly caused by drowning after she had a panic attack in a bathtub.

Someone from the Facebook group she was a part of said they “did a reading on her,” and it wasn’t Papa Legba she saw … it was actually another Haitian Vodou spirit named “Baron,” who is referred to as “the master of the dead.”

Katelyn’s family has set up a GoFundMe to establish a trust for her five-month-old daughter Aaliyah.

“She leaves behind a beautiful daughter…Aaliyah, whom she loved more than anyone or anything. ‘I never thought I could ever love anyone as much as I love her,’ Katelyn would say following her birth.

“She didn’t expect or plan on leaving her so soon in her young life. Aaliyah is only 5 months old,” the page reads.

“Katelyn was blessed with a loving family and many supportive friends. Many have asked how they can help, and they want to be there for Aaliyah.

“Therefore, in honor of Katelyn (and the love she had for her daughter), this GoFundMe account is set up to establish a trust fund for Aaliyah, to assist financially in the next phase of her life without her beloved mother. Katelyn was a single mother, with a limited income, so your donations will help to give Aaliyah a better start in her life.”

Video Shows White California Cop Repeatedly Punching Black Teen Over Possession of Swisher Sweets Cigar

Video footage has gone viral showing a white California cop viciously attacking a 14-year-old black boy while trying to detain him because he thought he had weed on him.

The shocking footage, which was shot in Rancho Cordova, shows the officer punching the teen in the face and slamming his head into the pavement after accusing him of possessing marijuana, which he didn’t have. It turns out the only thing in the teen’s possession was a Swisher Sweets cigar.

The video was originally shared by an older sister of one of the boy’s friends and has over 6 million views.

“RCPD brutally tackled and hit my best friend’s 14 year old brother today over a swisher sweet!” she wrote. “The officer had no reason to brutalize and traumatize this boy like this! He has a pre existing health condition which could be fatal under this kind of stress! Unjustifiable!”

Criminal defense attorney Rebecca Kavanagh shared the disturbing video on Twitter after the boy’s family sent it to her.

“The child was not charged with marijuana possession. Just resisting arrest,” she wrote. “He has a serious heart condition and this sort of brutal assault could have had fatal consequences. He is still suffering chest pain.”

She added: “Also let me clarify, the child didn’t have marijuana on him. Just a Swisher. I think it matters zero if he was smoking marijuana, but there are a bunch of people in the comments already using that as justification for the brutality, so there’s that.”

Senator Kamala Harris—a former Democratic presidential candidate who was California’s attorney general and a prosecutor in San Francisco—also shared the video on Twitter. She called the incident a “horrific abuse of power” and said that the officer “must be held accountable.”

Julian Castro, another former Democratic presidential candidate who was the former mayor of San Antonio and President Obama’s secretary of Housing and Urban Development, tweeted: “This video of a @RanchoCordovaPD officer beating a 14-year-old is sickening, and demands immediate action. How many of these videos must we see before we do something about police violence in this country?”

The officer hasn’t been identified, though family members have identified the teen as Elijah and are using the hashtag #JusticeforJah to bring attention to the incident.

Elijah’s family members are also calling for the officer to be fired and face criminal charges.

Elijah’s sister said on Twitter: “He was charged with ‘resisting arrest.’ But what was he even being arrested for?? For having a swisher? & they ended up letting him go so what was all of this for?? Smh he was left with scratches and chest pains! this was so unnecessary!”

The boy’s uncle, Justin Tufono, wrote on Instagram, along with a longer version of the footage: “This is my 14-year-old nephew being shoved into the ground by a Rancho Cordova police officer triple his size. 14 F**KING YEARS OLD! And he’s handling him like a man equal his size! For what? Possession of a swisher? Is all this sh** really necessary? He already had him held down and he felt the need to punch him AFTER shoving his face into the ground!? He acts like he f**king hurt somebody!”

Tufono added in a lengthy post on Facebook:

This is my 14 year old nephew Elijah being restrained by this Rancho Cordova cop who felt the need to man handle him. Look how skinny my little man is!!! That cop is triple his size!!!

What did he do for all that???
Petty theft? No need for all that.
Possession of Marijuana? No need for all that.
He didn’t hurt anybody. No need for all that.
Was all this fucking necessary?!
He didn’t f**king murder anyone! He’s not armed!! Why the f**king harsh treatment?

I remember telling Elijah, “you’re gonna experience the world in a very different way and I want you to know that it isn’t fair,”…

My blood is boiling. Why did this man feel the need to shove his face in the dirt and throw punches after obviously restraining him with all his weight!

Note: he has a chronic heart condition that prevents him from doing strenuous activity. This could’ve gone a whole different way if he had an episode during all this.

The Rancho Cordova Police Department has since issued a statement confirming that the incident was being investigated and giving the officer’s version of events.

The department identified the officer in the video as a “Problem Oriented Policing (POP) Officer” who “was proactively patrolling the area of Mills Station Road and Mather Field Road. The deputy was in the area due to complaints from citizens about hand-to-hand sales of alcohol, tobacco and drugs to minors.”

The department added that the officer’s use of extreme force on a juvenile was warranted because the boy resisted arrest.

“It’s important to put video footage into context, especially in relation to a use of force incident,” the department’s statement read. “In this case, the deputy saw what he believed to be a hand-to-hand exchange between an adult and juvenile. As the deputy turned around, he lost sight of the adult, who left the area.

“When the deputy approached the juvenile, the juvenile was uncooperative and refused to give the deputy basic identifying information. He told the deputy he was 18 years old. Having reasonable suspicion that criminal activity was occurring, the deputy attempted to detain the juvenile so he could conduct further investigation.

“The juvenile became physically resistive at that time, causing the deputy to lose control of his handcuffs, which landed several feet away. The deputy attempted to maintain control of the juvenile without his handcuffs and while alone waiting for his partners to arrive and assist him.”

Rancho Cordova Police Department’s statement continued:

“Ultimately, the deputy recovered tobacco products from the 14-year-old juvenile, which is presumably the reason for his resistance. The juvenile was cited and released to his guardians.

“This type of situation is hard on everyone–the young man, who resisted arrest, and the officer, who would much rather have him cooperate. The community should know our deputies have a heart for the Rancho Cordova community, especially for the youth they serve through the schools, PAL sports, and our new Youth Center.

“These are the facts as we know them. The Sheriff’s Office and Rancho Cordova Police Department, however, have proactively started an investigation into the use of force by our deputy in order to gain a complete and thorough understanding of the events that took place during this incident. Maintaining the public trust and remaining transparent are of paramount importance to the Sheriff’s Office and Rancho Cordova Police Department.”

Sheriff’s spokesperson Sergeant Tess Deterding also pointed out that the investigation is “in its infancy and the facts as we understand them now are subject to change as we conduct a more thorough and complete examination of the circumstances surrounding this incident.”

New England Patriots Draftee Apologizes for Far-Right Militia Tattoo, Says He Will Have It Removed: “That’s Not Who I Am”

The New England Patriots draftee who proudly dons a tattoo of the symbol for a far-right militia group now says he had no prior knowledge of the organization’s anti-government stances and that he will be removing the controversial tattoo soon.

Justin Rohrwasser received heavy backlash after being drafted by Donald Trump’s favorite team as a kicker last week because of a tattoo dedicated to the Three Percenters: the Roman numeral three surrounded by stars.

Though the Three Percenters is not designated as a hate group, it does exhibit hate group characteristics and the Anti-Defamation League has classified it as “anti-government.”

The pro-gun, far-right group was established after the election of Barack Obama and opposes federal government overreach. They’ve also been accused of advocating against immigrants, refugees and minorities.

“The first time I found out what [the tattoo] was linked to was Saturday,” Rohrwasser told CBS Boston on Monday (Apr. 27).

“As soon as I saw what it was linked to on Saturday, at exactly that time I knew I had to get it totally taken off my body. I said cover it up but I want to get it removed from my body. It’s shameful that I had it on there ignorantly.”

Rohrwasser—now 23—said he got the tattoo when he was 18 years old and that it was described to him as a symbol of patriotism and military support.

“Coming from a military family, I thought that really spoke to me,” he explained. “I always was proud to be an American. I’m very proud to be an American.”

“I’m sorry for all my [friends] and family that have to defend me,” he continued.

“Putting them in that compromising position is one of the biggest regrets I’ll ever have. To them I’m sorry, and I’m going to learn from this. I’m going to take ownership of it… No matter what, that’s not who I am and hopefully you all will find that out.”

But many are wondering if this is this enough.

Are we to believe that Rohrwasser really didn’t know the meaning of that tattoo he permanently getting his body? And no one ever questioned it before?

And if he does get it removed, that definitely doesn’t remove the shared beliefs he may hold with the far-right group.

As of now, Rohrwasser is still expected to join the same NFL that ousted Colin Kaepernick for protesting police brutality against black bodies on the Patriots’ roster.

“Slumdog Millionaire,” “Life of Pi” Actor Irrfan Khan Dead at 53 After Battle With Colon Cancer

Indian film star Irrfan Khan—known for his roles in films such as Slumdog Millionaire and Life of Pi—has died at the age of 53 following a two-year battle with colon cancer.

Khan was reportedly rushed to a hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday (Apr. 28) after suffering a kidney infection. He was placed into intensive care and died a day later on Wednesday, April 28th.

According to reports, the actor was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor in 2018, but continued to act while battling the disease.

His spokesman said he “spent his final hours surrounded by his love, his family for whom he most cared about.”

A touching statement from Irrfan’s family to Indian media outlets read:

“I trust, I have surrendered”; These were the some of the many words that Irrfan expressed in a heart-felt note he wrote in 2018 opening up about his fight with cancer. And a man of few words and an actor of silent expressions with his deep eyes and his memorable actions on screen. It’s saddening that this day, we have to bring forward the news of him passing away.

“Irrfan was a strong soul, someone who fought till the very end and always inspired everyone who came close to him. After having been struck by lightning in 2018 with the news of a rare cancer, he took life soon after as it came and he fought the many battles that came with it.

“Surrounded by his love, his family for whom he most cared about, he left for heaven abode, leaving behind truly a legacy of his own. We all pray and hope that he is at peace. And to resonate and part with his words he had said: ‘As if I was tasting life for the first time, the magical side of it.'”

Yesterday, Khan’s spokesman released a statement confirming the actor’s hospitalization.

“Yes, it is true that Irrfan Khan is admitted to ICU at Kokilaben in Mumbai because of a colon infection,” the statement read.

“We would keep everyone updated. He is under doctor’s observation. His strength and courage have helped him battle and fight so far and we are sure with his tremendous willpower and prayers of his well wishers, he will recover soon.”

The news of Irrfan’s death was quickly met with a flood of industry condolences, with Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan calling Khan “an incredible talent,” “a gracious colleague” and a “prolific contributor to the World of Cinema” that “left us too soon.”

Nimrat Kaur, who starred alongside Irrfan in The Lunchbox said: “India has lost one of her biggest icons today.”

Khan was widely considered one of India’s biggest actors—starring in Indian films like Paan Singh, Tomar, Haider, Gunday, and more—but he also achieved notable success in international and U.S. markets.

His career spanned thirty years and his filmography includes dozens of movies, including his screen debut in the 1988 Academy Award-nominated film Salaam Bombay!

Khan went on to star in several other films in Bollywood and Hollywood, and had supporting roles a number of big Hollywood films like 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man and Life of Pi, Jurrasic World (2015) and Inferno (2020).

He’s received numerous awards, including the National Film Award and multiple Filmfare Awards.

Khan’s last film was the Bollywood flick Angrezi Medium, which was released days before India’s nationwide lockdown was announced.

Local media previously reported that Khan’s mother had passed away on Saturday (Apr. 25).

He’s survived by his wife Sutapa Sikdar and two sons: Babil and Ayan Khan.
