Teairra Mari Trolls 50 Cent With “I Ain’t Got It” Diss Track & Asks Him to Do a Verse So She Can Come Up With the $30K She Owes Him

You’d be forgiven if you said the names Teairra Mari and 50 Cent made you think more of a “Greatest Hits from the 2000s” tour than anything about two relevant public figures in 2019.

But Instagram beef is its own currency in celebrity these days, and while Teairra Mari and 50 Cent haven’t seen a Billboard chart in years, their social currency is hotter than ever thanks to their current beef.

For those who might be confused as to why Teairra Mari, a one-time Roc-a-fella Records R&B artist, and 50 Cent, a one-time dominant Shady/Aftermath rapper, could ever get into it, it all has to do with that nauseating sex tape stunt Teairra pulled last year.

Her ex-boyfriend, Akbar, is apparently good friends with 50 Cent, and as he allegedly “leaked” the tape, 50 Cent jumped in on the fun and shared imagery from the tape too. Teairra decided to sue both Akbar and 50 since the two were friends and she believed they were scheming against her.

But in January 2019, Teairra’s case went bust as the judge dismissed 50 Cent from the suit and awarded him $30,000 in attorney fees.

For several months now, 50 and Teairra have gone back and forth, antagonizing one another over the $30k she owes him. Teairra’s line has been: “I Ain’t Got It,” as evidenced by this t-shirt she had made.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bvc1sobhs_X/

Apparently, this isn’t just a shirt though, it’s also an anthem. And Teairra just upped the ante by releasing a JAM of a diss track called, you guessed it, “I Ain’t Got It.”

The hook is catchy as all hell and Teairra’s broke girl anthem is an earworm:

“Oh you think you gettin’, I ain’t got it / Oh you think you gettin’, I ain’t got it,” Teairra sings. “Oh you think you gettin’ now, oh you think you gettin’ now / Oh you think you gettin’, I ain’t got it.”

As if the diss track ain’t enough, Teairra took her antics to the next level by following 50 Cent on Instagram and asking him to jump on the track:

“Hey @50cent hit me ASAP I need you on this Feature..not dropping it till I get your verse I got you…But #IAintGotit”

So far, Curtis has yet to respond, but just stay tuned. Because you know he won’t let Teairra’s clapback go unanswered for too long.

Kodak Black (Sort of) Apologizes to Lauren London: “I’m Sorry if I Disrespected You, But I Didn’t”

Kodak Black doesn’t feel like he disrespected Lauren London by saying he would give her a year of “crying and sh*t” over her boyfriend Nipsey Hussle’s murder before hollering at her, but he’s apologizing anyway.

Over the weekend, Kodak made a series of insensitive comments about London grieving Hussle on his Instagram Live.

“Lauren London that baby, though. She about to be out here single,” Kodak said. “She’s finna be a whole widow out here. I’ll be the best man I can be for her. I’ll give her a whole year. She might need a whole year to be crying and sh*t for him.”

He continued: “I ain’t trying to shoot [my shot] at her. I’m saying, listen. She can do two, three years. I’ll try to be like a friend if you need to holla or a shoulder to lean on. She can call my line.”

Needless to say, folks were pissed at Kodak for making such comments not even a week after Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed.

Even rappers T.I. and The Game called Kodak out for his blatant disrespect.

“Hey, Kodak Black … You outta pocket, ni**a. Fix that sh*t … quickly, expeditiously, ni**ga,” T.I. said in an Instagram video. “If ain’t nobody else gonna say it, I done said it, and if I see you, I’ma say it to your face… You outta pocket, ni**a. Get your motherf**kin’ self together.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YX2yEefL7A

The Game said in his own video:  “This sh*t go for Kodak Black and any other ni**a disrespecting my ni**a Nip name, his legacy, his family. Ni**a, keep my ni**a name out your f**kin’ mouth, ni**a. Keep his girl’s name out your f**kin’ mouth, ni**a. The f**k wrong with you ni**as? No respect having ass ni**as. This new generation, y’all f**ked up in the head, ni**a.”

The Game continued: “Stop disrespecting my ni**a’s name man, this sh*t for real! My ni**a died out here in these f**kin’ streets, ni**a! For doing the right motherf**kin’ thing, doing good for f**kin’ people! And the first thing ni**as wanna do after his untimely demise is disrespect his f**kin’ name?! Nah, ni**a, I ain’t going for that!”

Following the backlash, Kodak first responded with little to no remorse, saying he didn’t “give a f**k” about what T.I. had to say.

“Man, listen. I said what I said. Y’all tryin’ to misconstrue what I said … I don’t give fu**k what y’all talkin’ about,” he said. “T.I., man, I don’t care. I’m in Georgia right now.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXIu1YEh8FI

“Hell yeah, I said what I said,” he reacted on another IG live video. “What the f**k? Y’all expect her to be single forever? I said I’ll give her a year to grieve and cry. Hell yeah, she a bad bitch.”

Kodak eventually had a change of heart, and offered a semi-apology to London, even though he still doesn’t think he did anything wrong.

“If I disrespected you, Lauren London, in any shape or form, I’m sorry, even though I didn’t,” he said in another IG Live video. “And rest in peace to dude. Y’all already know what I said. I said dude encouraged me to do sh*t for the community. My bad, to them two, but anyhow… For all you other people trying to fake act like you little boying me on the internet or checking me on the internet, that’s how you wanna feel. Wherever y’all see me at, if that’s how you feel, that’s how you feel. Don’t try to little boy me on the internet.”

He continued: “But for all you other people trying to fake act like you lil boying me on the internet or checking me on the internet, that’s how y’all wanna feel … Wherever y’all see me at, if that’s how y’all feel, that’s how y’all feel. Don’t try to little boy me on the internet.”

Kodak concluded: “If I disrespected Lauren London in any way, even though I know I didn’t, my bad.”

“Bad Girls Club” Twin Shannade Clermont Sentenced to 1 Year in Prison for Stealing Money From Dead Man After “Prostitution Date”

One of the Clermont twins is headed to prison for making fraudulent purchases with a man’s debit card info after he overdosed while on a “prostitution date” with her.

Shannade Clermont, who once appeared alongside her twin sister Shannon on the Bad Girls Club, was sentenced to one year in prison after pleading guilty to one count of felony wire fraud.

Officials said Clermont stole debit card information from James Alesi after he passed out at his home and went on to spend thousands of dollars—money that wasn’t legally hers to spend—on her own rent, plane tickets, expensive clothing and other lavish purchases.

Alesi, a real estate broker, died of an accidental overdose from cocaine laced with fentanyl, his family reportedly said.

The man was found dead in his Manhattan apartment on February 1st, 2017, one day after prosecutors believe Clermont met with him for what they described as a “prostitution date.”

While Clermont was at Alesi’s home, she stole information from two of his debit cards and later used Alesi’s identity to wire herself money, prosecutors claimed.

Alesi’s family didn’t find out what happened until two months after his death when they were handling the sale of his estate. “My brother died and she went shopping,” Alesi’s sister Jolle said in court, according to the New York Daily News.

Clermont reportedly told police after she was arrested that she committed the crime in part due to the stress of keeping up with her public image.

“Former reality TV ‘bad girl’ Shannade Clermont lived up to her on-screen persona,” U.S. Attorney Berman said Thursday (Apr. 4) in the sentencing announcement.

“She admitted to stealing the debit card information from a man she visited for a prostitution date in his Manhattan apartment. When the man died of an overdose, instead of notifying the authorities or calling for help, Clermont callously chose to use the man’s debit card information to make tens of thousands of dollars in illegal purchases,” Berman explained.

Clermont was arrested in July 2018 and entered a guilty plea to one count of wire fraud in November.

“I take responsibility for my shameful actions,” Clermont told U.S. District Judge Naomi Buchwald. “Words can’t explain the sorrow I have in my heart.”

Judge Buchwald said during the hearing that she wasn’t concerned with Clermont’s alleged prostitution, but took her to task for stealing from a man who may have needed medical attention.

“When faced with a real test of character, you chose to steal his debit card information,” the judge said, according to the Associated Press.

Clermont’s defense attorney, Jeffrey Lichtman, insisted his client bore no responsibility for the man’s death, claiming she “had no idea that he was in any kind of distress.”

Buchwald, unconvinced of that notion, responded: “I’m not sure I totally agree with you because I don’t know what happened in the 3 ½ hours she was in the apartment. Had she decided before she left to call 911, we don’t know what would have happened.”

In addition to the 12-month prison sentence, Clermont will be required to forfeit $5,770.27 and pay restitution of $4,696.40, New York’s PIX11 News reported.

Following her release from prison, Clermont will also be placed on parole for three years.

Dad Arrested After Staging Home Invasion to Cover Up Stealing Daughter’s Girl Scout Cookie Money

A father in Forest Grove, Oregon has been accused of staging a break-in at his home to cover up the fact that he stole money his daughter raised selling Girl Scout cookies.

Police say that 40-year-old Brian Couture called 911 on March 6th saying that a thief had broken into his home through a sliding glass door.

According the police report, Couture said that he confronted the “suspect” and they got into a scuffle. The suspect then supposedly fled the scene with $747 in Girl Scout cookie money.

When police arrived, they searched the area with a K9 unit and Couture, who was found “unresponsive” at the scene, was taken to a hospital.

A neighbor described the scene to KGW8. “There were cops from all over, dogs, the forensic team, they had crime scene tape up everywhere,” said Brooke Gwin, who lives down the street from Couture’s house.

Police never found a suspect, and on March 18th, they said Couture admitted to staging the incident.

https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=2422100787842494&id=100291346690128

“Couture admitted to Forest Grove Police investigators that the alleged incident was staged,” police said in a statement posted online. “Investigators believe that Couture staged the incident in order to conceal the theft of money belonging to a non-profit organization, that was spent inappropriately.”

Couture was arrested for theft and filing a false police report. He pleaded not guilty in a court appearance on March 29th.

A spokesperson for the Girl Scouts confirmed Couture is the father of a Girl Scout and there was around $740 in unaccounted for cookie sales in connection with this case.

“On Friday, March 15, 2019, Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington was notified that a family had experienced a theft at home, including the alleged theft of $747 in Girl Scout funds. At that time, we initiated our internal process to respond to such matters,” said Girl Scouts spokeswoman Sarah Shipe in a statement.

“Since the March 18 arrest in this case, we have been in contact with the Forest Grove Police Department and are working with them to resolve the matter. At this time, Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington is following our normal procedure to collect on funds owed. The stewardship of Girl Scout troop funds is a top priority for our organization, and that is our focus in this matter.”

This is the second time this year a Girl Scout Cookie-connected individual has been arrested. Back in February, after a man went viral for purchasing $540 worth of cookies to save a group of Girl Scouts from the cold, he was arrested on federal drug charges days later.

Arrest Warrant Issued for Teen Seen in Video Beating Girlfriend Over Break Up Prank

Texas police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a teenager who was seen in a viral video brutally beating his girlfriend after she pulled a “break up prank” on him.

The Waco Tribune-Herald reports that the Waco Police Department obtained a Class A misdemeanor arrest warrant for 17-year-old Jamarion Reese of Waco, Texas.

Waco Police Sergeant W. Patrick Swanton said police launched an investigation after they received numerous calls about the video that was posted online in late March depicting a “very violent assault that allegedly occurred” in Waco.

Police confirmed that Reese and the female in the video were in a “dating relationship.”

“The investigation determined this was a case of dating violence and they have had a dating relationship for the past two years,” Sgt. Swanton said in a statement. “Based on the investigation, a warrant was issued for Reese’s arrest.”

The video shared all over social media appears to begin right after Reese’s girlfriend tells him that she’s breaking up with him.

You can watch the disturbing video here, but be warned … it’s pretty graphic. Viewer discretion advised:

[videopress OamfPNEX permalink=”false” hd=”true”]

After a brief dialogue, Reese punches the girl in the face, knocking her head against the wall behind her. He punches her more than a dozen times as she whimpers and tells him “It’s a prank! It’s a prank!”

A person in the background is heard yelling “Y’all chill!” and Reese eventually stops, telling his girlfriend, “Stop playing with me then bro!” before letting her know that he’s leaving.

Some Twitter users said the girl went on Instagram Live defending Reese’s actions, and Reese also allegedly defended himself in a separate video, saying that he “didn’t mean for it to go down like that.”

On one heavily circulated video taken from the girl’s IG Live, she says she and her boyfriend “punch each other” because “we got real love over here.”

The girl also posted a text message thread on her Instagram stories downplaying what happened in the video, saying “Everybody just making a big scene about it” and “it’s not that serious.”

Reese said in another post, in response to the backlash he received on social media: “I’m 17 [the f**k] y’all worried about me for … she good, we good, she ain’t got no bruises or [nothing, the f**k] y’all steady talking for!”

The girl’s identity has not been revealed, but she isn’t shy about who she is on her public Instagram account.

In fact, her latest post, shared April 2nd, has a caption that reads: “your all i ever need bae; i miss you so much, like can the wait be over already? ?; anyways #FreeMyBae ?. #explorepage #jk4l @dso.hotboyy”

https://www.instagram.com/p/BvxGHS6nNLH/

The day before, she posted a video of them brushing their teeth together and listening to music with the caption “#FreeYouBae.”

https://www.instagram.com/p/BvuyPaUBtzI/

It’s also worth noting that her Instagram name at the moment is “#FreeMyBaby.”

Last Friday (Mar. 29), Reese posted on his IG stories that he was “going to jail” because he had violated his parole. He said in another post: “Bro y’all ain’t getting no shout out stop it damn !! f**k this Instagram all this sh*t got me finna go to jail !!”

Reese eventually turned himself in on April 1st, but before doing that, he updated his IG followers with yet another post to his stories.

“Y’all I’m finna turn my self in today, I love all y’all man !! #FreeMybruddas,” he wrote. “One thing about me Imma do that time I ain’t gonna let it do me,” he added in a separate post.

Arrest records obtained by Gossip On This show that a “Jamariona Reese” was in police custody as of April 2nd after being booked at the McLennan County Jail on April 1st for a parole violation.

News reports name the teen as “Jamarion Reese,” so it isn’t clear if the reporters have it wrong or if his name wasn’t entered correctly in the system (more likely the latter).

Swanton would not confirm whether Reese was still in juvenile custody at this moment, as his name no longer appears in the system, but he did say police were not “actively seeking” him because they are aware of his current location and would be serving the warrant any day now.

Former Drag Queen Named “Iconic Facce” Arrested After Robbing Bank to Fund Plastic Surgery in Mexico

A former drag queen who spent years in prison following a 2008 bank robbery conviction was arrested last month after attempting to rob another bank to fund a plastic surgery procedure in Mexico.

According to The Smoking Gun, 37-year-old Jimmy Maurice Lewis II was arrested last Saturday (Mar. 30) in connection with the March 22nd robbery of a BancorpSouth branch in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Via TSG:

Cops initially identified the suspect as a “black female in her mid to late 30’s.” After producing a note demanding cash, the robber fled on foot from the bank.

Investigators subsequently identified Lewis as a suspect and nabbed him at the Houston, Texas airport upon his arrival on a flight from Mexico (where Lewis appears to have undergone some kind of cosmetic procedure).

Lewis, currently locked up in a Houston jail, is awaiting extradition to Mississippi, where a bank robbery charge awaits. Lewis is seen in the below BancorpSouth surveillance images.

Online reports state that Lewis at one point worked as a popular drag queen named “Iconic Facce” … and as seen in her mugshot, she definitely has an “iconic” face.

Alabama prosecutors say Lewis’ criminal past dates back to the early 2000s. Described in an Alabama.com article as a “transgender individual,” Lewis was reportedly dressed as a woman when she robbed the Alabama Credit Union in Decatur on November 9th, 2007.

“Lewis has artificial breast implants but still possesses male genitalia, and police and prosecutors say her plan was to rob banks to finance a sex-change operation,” Alabama.com reported.

During the robbery, investigators said Lewis threatened a teller’s life, saying, “No games, no jokes and get your hands up. Don’t mash any alarms. Don’t move or she’s had it.”

Witnesses said Lewis gave the credit union’s manager and a teller a note demanding at least $20,000 in $100 bills.

Lewis, who only made away with about $9,600 in cash, was convicted in 2008 and sentenced to four years in prison and faced a pending bank robbery charge in Tennessee at the time.

Nipsey Hussle’s Public Memorial Service Will Be Held at Staples Center

Nipsey Hussle’s family has found a venue large enough to accommodate all of the mourners who wish to say their final goodbyes to the slain rapper.

Yesterday, TMZ reported that Hussle’s family planned to have a public memorial, but were having trouble finding an available space big enough to hold everyone.

This morning, the gossip site revealed that Hussle’s family has secured a deal with the Staples Center and the memorial service will be held next Thursday (Apr. 11).

Via TMZ:

Sources with direct knowledge tell us, the service will take place Thursday morning at the 21,000 seat venue. We’re told tickets will be available for the event through a website. Only ticket holders will gain admission.

Our sources say there was a meeting Wednesday with Nipsey’s family and honchos from Staples. LAPD officials were also present in the meeting to help plan logistics and security for the event.

It’s a massive undertaking to plan such a major event in less than a week. Staging equipment must be rented, and the rental companies have already been contacted. We’ve learned ushers who work at Staples have already been asked to reserve the day so they can work.

The turnaround for the venue will also be quick — the final Clippers game for the regular season is the night before.

Nipsey’s family reportedly turned down places that would only hold a few thousand people because they wanted his service to be at a location that could hold at least 15,000 so that more people could attend because they believe Nipsey, as a man “for the people,” would have wanted it that way.

Meanwhile, many fans scoffed at the idea of having to pay to attend a memorial service, but TMZ’s report never said anything about anyone paying. They said “tickets will be available through a website” and “only ticket holders will gain admission.”

Social media influencer Kevin Civil, who was good friends with Nipsey, was forced to debunk claims that tickets were being sold for the rapper’s memorial service.

“FAKE F*CKING NEWS,” she wrote before adding: “I want to officially let @NipseyHussle fans & supporters know there will be NO selling of tickets to his funeral. A lot of incorrect information was released today, please know in the upcoming days [an] official statement will be made soon.”

It isn’t known if the rapper’s casket will be at the public memorial and whether or not it will be live streamed online like Michael Jackson’s service in 2009, which was also held at the Staples Center.

WATCH: Racist Gas Station Worker Yells & Curses at Customer for Speaking Spanish

A series of videos showing a gas station employee in California screaming at a customer for speaking Spanish has gone viral on social media.

28-year-old Grecya Moran said when she went to the counter to pay for her gas at a Shell station in San Jose last Thursday (Mar. 28), she and an employee had a short conversation in Spanish, but they were interrupted by another employee who lambasted Moran for speaking a language other than one she’s personally familiar with.

“She kept on telling me to speak English because we are in America,” Moran, a stay-at-home mom of five, told NBC News.

Moran said she apologized at first because she didn’t want the woman to think she and the other employee were talking about her

But the woman slandered Moran continuously without any hesitation, and the things she had to say were absolutely absurd, which is what prompted Moran to start filming.

“She then started saying things like ‘Trump needs to build the wall.’ That’s when I realized she was being serious and I took out my phone and started videotaping her,” Moran said.

https://www.facebook.com/grecya.moran/posts/2214729931908265

“You don’t tell me when I should talk in Spanish or should I don’t,” Moran tells the employee in the video. The woman, speaking over Moran, replied: “I don’t care, you don’t tell me nothing!”

The Shell employee also provoked Moran to “come at her” and later tried to victimize herself as if she was justified in her racist actions.

While Moran continued to film this employee’s heinous actions she calmly asked her to repeat her name.

The woman refused and stated: “You f**ked up there, you know what? You want to catch me on camera? Do it, because I don’t care. I’m turning 60 next week. Hurt me! Go ahead! I’m poor!”

While Moran continued to film, the employee steadily hurled profanities at Moran and flipped her off.

“You know what I planned on quitting anyway, and it makes no difference to you!” the woman shouted. “You have your (inaudible response), you have your money, You can do whatever the f**k you want, right? Because you are not a citizen of the United States!”

The employee then asked Moran to show her proof of her citizenship after Moran stated that she was born in the United States.

As the woman continued to yell at Grecya to prove her U.S. citizenship, you can hear a child starting to cry in the background.

“I can’t believe someone would treat me like this. She didn’t even care that I had my 18-month-old son with me,” Moran shared with NBC News.

Moran added that this isn’t the first time she’s experienced discrimination against her speaking Spanish, but she said this particular interaction at the gas station was shocking.

“I thought it was a dream. It felt like a nightmare. I couldn’t believe that someone could treat someone else like that. Our race and skin color should not define who we are. We’re all humans,” she said.

Moran later filed a report with a San Jose Police Department and the manager of the gas station said that the employee was fired the day of the confrontation.

After the situation had calmed down and Moran was able to discuss it outside the heat of the moment, she tried to keep a positive attitude regardless of the persecution she received.

“I hope she didn’t mean those hurtful words [she said] to me. I hope and pray that she realizes that we’re all humans and that nobody [deserves] to be treated like that,” Moran said.

Moran’s Facebook post showcasing the incident has been shared nearly 6,000 times and the videos collectively have more than 500K views.

Homeless Man’s Mugshot Goes Viral After He’s Arrested for Knocking Man Unconscious With Bat

A California man whose mugshot went viral this week was arrested for a street fight involving a metal rod and a bat.

According to KSEE24 News, 61-year-old Phillip Lester was arrested in Fresno on Tuesday, March 26th after he knocked a man unconscious with a bat.

The man Lester was fighting with was holding a metal rod, and witnesses said the second man was knocked out cold for several minutes before he was taken to a local hospital. The man’s condition was unknown.

Philip Lester was charged with assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm for his role in the street fight, which KSEE reported was caught on video.

Investigators have no idea what sparked the violent altercation between the men, who are both homeless.

After the incident, Lester’s mugshot went viral on social media as people pointed out the size and awkward shape of the man’s head.

“He’s definitely headed to jail!” wrote one commenter on a Facebook post reporting on the incident. “His head [looks] like a throbbing big toe,” said another commenter.

“He was ahead of the game,” another commenter wrote. “I bet it takes a loooooong time for him to make up his mind,” wrote another.

The jokes even carried over to Twitter, where they used GIFs to illustrate their point:

O.J. Simpson Prosecutor Chris Darden Representing Nipsey Hussle Murder Suspect Eric Holder

High-profile attorney Chris Darden is representing Nipsey Hussle’s alleged killer, Eric Holder.

If that name sounds familiar to you, it should, because Darden is best known as one of the prosecutors who unsuccessfully tried the O.J. Simpson murder case in the 1990s.

29-year-old Eric Ronald Holder appeared in court Thursday (Apr. 4) for the first time since his arrest Tuesday and he was formally charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.

Holder’s attorney, Chris Darden, entered a not guilty plea on his behalf for all the charges. According to the Los Angeles Times, the courtroom was heavily guarded in response to Holder receiving numerous threats on social media.

Holder, clad in a light blue jail shirt and pants and shackled at the wrists, stood in a glassed enclosure and was flanked by several deputies.

He leaned back slightly with his chin up, exposing an array of neck tattoos, and frequently glanced at onlookers.

Holder has received numerous social media threats, and deputies noticeably scrutinized the courtroom.

Darden, who has been privately retained by Holder, asked L.A. Superior Court Judge Teresa Sullivan to ban cameras from the courtroom, which she denied.

Holder was initially held on $7 million bail, but that was reduced to $5 million after Thursday’s hearing. Holder is due back in court on May 10th.

Nipsey Hussle (born: Ermias Asghedom) was shot multiple times on March 31st outside his The Marathon clothing store in south Los Angeles in Crenshaw. Two other men who were near Hussle at the time of the shooting were also wounded by gunfire, but they survived.

Holder was taken into custody on Tuesday (Apr. 2) after someone reported seeing the man police named as a suspect in Hussle’s shooting death. He was arrested outside a mental health facility in the Bellflower L.A. suburb where he was reportedly attempting to seek treatment.

Investigators have said the slaying was the result of a personal dispute between the two men, and not gang-related, despite both men having ties to the Rollin 60’s Neighborhood Crips.

A woman who drove Holder away from the murder scene hasn’t been arrested or charged in the case, though she did turn herself in and said that she didn’t know Holder had shot someone when he jumped in her car.

Holder faces life in prison without the possibility of parole if convicted at trial.

Future Dragged on Social Media for Comparing Himself to Nipsey Hussle

As we all deal with the tragic loss of Nipsey Hussle, social media has been flooded with tributes, anecdotes and inspirational quotes from Hussle.

When Atlanta rapper Young Scooter reposted one of Nipsey’s old tweets about taking care of your own on Instagram, Future hopped in the comments and compared himself to the late rapper, and was quickly met with backlash.

“I taught all my ni**as how to fish,” the Nipsey quote read. “Some caught more than others. Some said they rather be fed. Some [passed] me up in the process. But at the end of it all, I know ain’t hide the game from my people and I’m real for that.”

Scooter wrote in his IG post that we need more people in the world like Nipsey, and Future’s response was “Yeah we do need more like us.. I been teaching and preaching for a decade also showing and proving what hard work and dedication get u.”

Scooter has since deleted the post, but screenshots live on forever.

Needless to say, some people weren’t here for Future’s comment comparing himself to Nipsey Hussle and the “Crushed Up” rapper was subsequently dragged for seemingly making the situation all about himself.

To be fair, Future does give back to the community … but many pointed out that he had no business putting himself in the same light as someone like Nipsey Hussle.

“Nigga I know you ain’t comparing yourself to Nip,” one fan wrote. “I rocks rocks with some of your music, but you need to sit the f**k down! You haven’t done sh*t for your son, let alone your community…and all you rap about is bitches, drug addiction and a bunch of bullsh*t…don’t ever compare yourself to a man like Nip!!! Make sure you’re able to compare yourself to a man like [Russell Wilson] first mf!!! Wtf…what’s one thing you’ve been teaching other than Molly Percocet, stick talk and low life! Sitcho goofy ass down!”

Another fan commented: “STFU…Mr. I Want My Credit [Too]. You can’t even RESPECT a woman or be faithful and it shows… A real KING doesn’t have just a following but a FAMILY FOUNDATION also… Sh*t crazy, everybody [wants] RECOGNITION for sh*t they should be DOING ANYWAY!!! You should be EMPOWERING OTHER BLACK MEN TO BE SUCCESSFUL OR SUCH AS YOURSELF. That’s what [you’re] supposed to do!!!”

Said another fan: “Boy that’s a big cap. No you need to help these kids, [you’re an] influencer bruh, get these young ni**as off the street. Teach them how to own sh*t. Y’all ain’t teaching them nothing but drugs. Bruh stop with the cap my ni**a.”

Another fan wrote: “@future ni**a shut up.. don’t you dare say ‘us’ … [Nipsey] actually raps about life [and] struggles [and] our people. You rap about drugs [and] bitches smh. FOHHHHH”

The dragging didn’t stop there either. You already know folks on Twitter had something to say too.

In the words of DJ Khaled … Future, you played yourself!

Kodak Black Charged With Raping High School Student in South Carolina, Trial Begins This Summer or Fall

Kodak Black will face rape charges in South Carolina after he allegedly sexually assaulted a high school-aged girl after a concert in Florence in 2016.

Because Kodak is currently on tour, South Carolina prosecutors are giving him until summer or fall to return to the state to answer to a criminal first-degree criminal sexual conduct charge. The “ZEZE” rapper could potentially go on trial at that time as well.

“I’m hoping to get it up for disposition by then,” 12th Circuit Solicity Ed Clements said Thursday (Apr. 4) after announcing that the trial that was tentatively scheduled for April was pushed back to the summer or fall.

The State reports:

The rapper committed the crime in a hotel room after performing at a concert in Florence, Clements said. An arrest warrant accuses the 21-year-old rapper of committing the sexual assault in February 2016.

Kodak Black, who was born named Dieuson Octave, was arrested on the sexual assault charge in November 2016, WMBF reported.

The girl did not immediately report the assault to law enforcement; instead she told a nurse at her Richland County high school, who informed the school resource officer before the information was eventually brought to the attention of the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, according to WPDE.

Clements confirmed to The State that the girl was not a minor when the crime occurred; otherwise the charges would have been different to reflect that.

According to the arrest warrant, Kodak Black forced the girl onto the bed, then the floor where he committed sexual battery, although she “repeatedly told the defendant no and to stop. The defendant did not stop.” He also bit the girl on the “neck and her right breast,” injuries that were documented in a rape kit, the arrest warrant said.

The hip hop star was released on a $100,000 bond, WPDE reported. After he was released, Kodak Black agreed to be swabbed and the prosecutor’s office has his DNA, Clements told The State.

“We are slowly but steadily moving toward a disposition,” said Clements, who told The State the rapper could face a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison if convicted, but there are several lesser sentences he could face related to the same criminal sexual conduct charge. “I want to do justice for the victim, whatever that takes.”

Attorneys Beattie Ashmore and Robert E. Lee are representing the rapper, who has been “arrested four times in Florida,” the Florence Morning News reported.

According to the South Florida Sun Sentinel, some of the Pompano Beach native’s charges include accusations “of forcing several people into a car after he suspected somebody of breaking into his house,” being arrested in “a suspected drug deal,” and “possession of cannabis.”

According to the conditions of his bond, Kodak is not permitted to comment on the allegations against him by way of print, electronic, digital or social media.

Violating these terms could result in his bond being revoked, which explains why he stormed out of a Hot 97 interview when host Ebro asked him about the pending case.

Kodak has also been ordered not to have any contact with the victim or her family.

Nipsey Hussle’s Alleged Killer Eric Holder Pleads Not Guilty to Murder, Bail Reduced to $5 Million

The man who allegedly killed Nipsey Hussle appeared before a judge Thursday (Apr. 4) where he was formally charged with murder and attempted murder in Sunday’s shooting that also involved two other victims who survived.

During the hearing, Eric Holder (also known by his street name “Shitty Cuz”) pleaded not guilty to the charges and his bail was reduced from $7 million to $5 million.

The L.A. County District Attorney’s Office charged Holder with a total of four counts, including one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder.

The other two men who were injured in the shooting outside Hussle’s The Marathon clothing store at Crenshaw Blvd. and Slauson Ave. were identified in the criminal complaint as Kerry Lathan and Shermi Cervabta Villanueva.

Holder, 29, was also charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, and could face the possibility of life in prison if convicted.

City of Chicago Moving Forward With Lawsuit Against Jussie Smollett for Refusing to Pay Them $130K

The City of Chicago is preparing to file a lawsuit against Jussie Smollett for failing to pay the $130,000 they say he owes them for costs associated with the investigation of his alleged faked hate crime attack.

Last Thursday (Mar. 28), Chicago officials sent a letter to Smollett and his people, demanding to be reimbursed $130K, but Jussie essentially told them to kick rocks.

PREVIOUSLY: Chicago PD to Jussie Smollett: Pay Us $130K or We’ll Sue You & Prove You Faked Hate Crime Attack

The letter noted that Jussie had seven days to make a decision, and now that today is day seven, the City of Chicago will now be moving forward with the lawsuit.

A spokesman for the City said in a statement: “Mr. Smollett has refused to reimburse the City of Chicago for the cost of police overtime spent investigating his false police report on January 29, 2019. The Law Department is now drafting a civil complaint that will be filed in the Circuit Court of Cook County. Once it is filed, the Law Department will send a courtesy copy of the complaint to Mr. Smollett’s L.A. based legal team.”

Jussie’s refusal to pay up $130K could end up costing him 3 times that much, which is about $390K. Additionally, in the trial, everything will be made public and the City would have to prove that Jussie faked the attack in order to win the case.

Jussie faced 16 felony counts in the case, but the State’s Attorney dropped all the charges, though with this impending lawsuit, he’s still not totally of the hook.

Let the games begin…

Jeff Bezos’ Ex-Wife Will Get Nearly $36 Billion in Biggest Divorce Settlement Ever

MacKenzie Bezos, the now former wife of Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, is now the richest ex-wife in history after walking away from her marriage with almost $36 billion.

Their agreement states that Jeff will keep 75% of his Amazon stock, while MacKenzie will get a 4% stake in the company worth about $35.6 billion and will make her the third-biggest shareholder.

MacKenzie has also agreed to give Jeff all of her interests in the Washington Post and Jeff’s space exploration company, Blue Origin, in addition to 75% of their Amazon stock and voting control of her shares.

Even after losing nearly $36 billion to his ex-wife, Jeff Bezos will remain the wealthiest person alive with a reported net worth of more than $110 billion.

MacKenzie said in a statement on Twitter that she was “Grateful to have finished the process of dissolving my marriage with Jeff with support from each other and everyone who reached out to us in kindness, and looking forward to the next phase as co-parents and friends.” She added that she was “Grateful for the past as I look forward to what comes next.”

Jeff announced his impending divorce in January to scoop reports about his extramarital affair with married journalist Lauren Sanchez.

In February, Bezos wrote a blog post on Medium.com accusing The National Enquirer of blackmailing him with nude photos of him and Sanchez.

Jeff and MacKenzie Bezos were married for 25 years and share four children together: three sons as well as an adopted daughter from China.

According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the pair should expect an official divorce decree to be issued in early July.

Is J.R. Smith a Pioneer in Starting a New Trend of Nude Paternity Photo Shoots?

In this day and age, everything having to do with gender norms is up for debate, reimagination and revision.

Whether it’s the idea of men playing the role as a stay-at-home parent or the concept of wealthy women (like Mary J. Blige) having to pay alimony to their lower-earning husbands or Young Thug wearing a dress for his album cover, what’s considered acceptable for a man to do has never been more fluid than it is today.

But I’m not quite sure we’re ready for what former Cleveland Cavaliers player J.R. Smith is putting on the table in the name of the mens’ revolution: Nude paternity photo shoots.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BvxXcnmF1F1/

J.R. Smith is in between teams, as it was announced in November last year that he’d no longer play for the Cavs. The Cavs agreed to work with him to secure a trade deal, but nothing has materialized as of yet. So J.R. is sitting at home with nothing but time on his hands.

He had his fourth child, Denver, last year in June and that’s who he’s pictured with, butt-naked in the shower. As a father of four girls, J.R. has his hands full and he appears to be a very doting father based on what he shares with us on social media.

So who knows WHY J.R. was naked in the shower with his baby. If you’ve had an infant, you know that blow-out diapers are a thing and a simple clean-up job with wipes won’t do.

Or, if the baby is sick and they’re expelling liquids from both ends, the best thing to do is sit with them in the bathtub while all of the action happens.

But Denver doesn’t look sick and miserable so … that’s just me trying to make sense of this since J.R. offered no context to the photo as his caption simply said: “My sign ain’t water but we #AquaBeingsOverHere.”

While a professional photographer wasn’t hired, this photo (taken by WHOM???) was clearly staged as J.R. had to pose himself and his daughter in such a way as to not expose their genitalia. Which means he wanted this picture out there for public consumption. But why?

Social media users were in search of answers but they didn’t really know what to do with J.R.’s shower shoot.

Honestly, though, when we compare it to what women routinely do for maternity shoots and with their children, is J.R.’s shower pic that problematic?

So is J.R. Smith merely blazing a trail for men so that nude paternity photos like this won’t raise an eyebrow?

Or is this picture just wrong and inappropriate regardless of where we are in our progressive evolution of gender roles and norms?

After Bad Breakups With Lamar Odom & Tristan Thompson, Is It Time for Khloe Kardashian to Leave Ball Players Alone?

When it comes to looking for love, Khloe Kardashian has struck out more than a few times. Particularly, her highest profile relationships have been with professional basketball players that both ended in raging dumpster fires.

Her first marriage to then-Lakers player Lamar Odom started off on the right foot in 2009. The pair seemed like perfect love birds and he even meshed well with the family, making appearances in Kardashian family photo shoots.

But then it all went to hell when it came out that Lamar was a crackhead who sought out the company of prostitutes in brothels.

So Khloe had to ditch that sucker, only to be sucked back into his life briefly to play the part of the concerned ex-lover when his health went into serious decline due to an overdose shortly after their break-up in 2015. Their divorce was finalized in 2016 and at that point, Khloe was fully free to spread her wings.

Where this Kardashian chicken decided to roost was with Tristan Thompson in 2016 (remember, the same year her divorce to Lamar was finalized). Tristan was playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers at the time and Khloe suddenly found herself spending plenty of time Ohio.

By December 2017, she announced her pregnancy and by 2018, rumors of his infidelity started to surface until the whole thing imploded earlier this year when Tristan was caught making moves on Jordyn Woods at his house at an after-party.

So given this rough track record, when Jimmy Kimmel interviewed the Kardashian Krew, he bluntly asked Khloe, “Is it time to stop dating basketball players?”

Khloe was clearly taken aback by the question, although the audience expressed support for a moratorium on NBA players in her love life.

Khloe, who clearly understood where the question was coming from, nonetheless refused to definitively say categorically that she wouldn’t be dating basketball players in the future.

“I like what I like, what can I say,” she responded.

She did add though, that her grandmother warned her about the ballers.

“I should have listened to my MJ, my grandmother. I should probably look to date like accountants or something like that,” Khloe added.

You can watch Khloe’s response and the full interview with Kimmel below.

Surveillance Video Shows Eric Holder aka Shitty Cuz Kicking Nipsey Hussle After Shooting Him

A second surveillance video released online showing Nipsey Hussle’s final moments alive shows that his shooter kicked him in the head after gunning him down.

As we reported yesterday, Eric Holder (aka “Shitty Cuz”) was identified by the LAPD as the man who shot and killed Nipsey Hussle.

He was taken into custody outside a mental health facility in Los Angeles hours later. Sources say Holder was at the facility seeking treatment before he was arrested.

TMZ released a second surveillance video showing Holder opening fire three separate times on Nipsey Hussle.

Holder shoots Nipsey once, starts walking away, and then comes back a second time to shoot again. He returns a third time and fires once again.

After the third time, he kicks Nipsey and runs toward the back alley, where police say he hopped in a getaway vehicle driven by a woman who later turned herself in. The woman reportedly told police she had no idea what Holder had done and is an innocent party.

Nipsey and Holder reportedly had a tense conversation prior to the shooting, in which Nipsey allegedly asked him if he was a snitch because that’s what the streets were saying. Feeling disrespected, Holder went to get a gun and returned to get revenge on Nipsey.

Nipsey was shot and killed Sunday (Mar. 31) in front of his The Marathon clothing store in the Crenshaw area of Los Angeles. He was 33 years old.
