Oh, Really? Pastor Who Bought His Wife a $200K Lambo Begs Church Members for $250K for Roof Repairs

Well, this is awkward…

Remember last year when Pastor John Gray defended his purchase of a $200,000 Lamborghini for his wife for their anniversary? (It was later reported that the car was a “sorry for cheating on you” present.)

At the time, he made it clear that “not a nickel, not a penny” from his church went towards purchasing the gift and folks just needed to mind their business.

“First of all, it wasn’t a pastor that bought the car. It was a husband that bought the car,” he said in a 23-minute Facebook Live video stream.

“I’m a husband first. Don’t confuse what I do with who I am,” he added. “What I do is, I pastor God’s people. Who I am is a husband and a father, and I’ll do anything to honor them, and I won’t ask permission from anybody to do it.”

Well, now Pastor Gray needs about $250,000 for church repairs, and he’s asking his congregation to help him foot the bill. Life sure has come full circle, hasn’t it?

Pastor John Gray said he inherited millions of dollars in debt when Relentless Church took over the building from its former pastor, Ron Carpenter, who moved his Redemption Church ministry to California after 25 years at the Greenville, South Carolina location.

During his “Off the Wall” sermon on February 10th, Pastor Gray brought up a church treasurer to explain that the church has a “challenge with the roof” that’s going to cost around $250,000 to fix. The treasurer said that the roof they have now was put on the building in 2004 and is in bad shape.

Pastor Gray broke down the numbers, saying that the roof repairs could be made if 2,500 people contributed at least $100, or more than half could be raised if 500 people donated $300.

Gray said he needed the money, which would be in addition to tithes and offering, by April 3rd.

“So now we need 499 ’cause I got $300 on it. Anybody else?” Gray asked. “The work must continue. This is not a plea for money, it’s a plea for partnership so we can be what we’re supposed to be.”

Pastor Gray said that Redemption was in massive debt that Relentless had to assume responsibility for once Gray took over, but he believes that Relentless will be debt-free within the next two years.

“(Ron Carpenter) handed us keys. The keys were not to a paid off building, the keys were to an opportunity, an opportunity to continue the work,” Gray said. “Nothing you see is paid off. It wasn’t paid off when we got here.”

He added: “We didn’t take an easy assignment. If we wanted an easy assignment, we would start from scratch without millions of dollars in debt. We took the assignment because we knew God has given us the right people to build with. I believe the best days of Relentless Church are in front of it.”

Pastor Gray went on to say that he was concerned about severe weather that’s predicted to come to the area this Spring, and that the repairs would allow Relentless Church to be a safe haven for those seeking shelter from the storms.

“The Holy Ghost said this to me so I’m going to speak it out, that there is severe weather coming to the region this spring because of all of the climate change and issues,” Gray said. “Whether you understand all the science behind it or not, or agree, I heard the Lord say, ‘I want you to make sure the house is covered so that when storms come people can come in here and be covered.'”

Gray further explained that God told him that the congregation would be able to provide what’s needed for the repairs.

“There’s some stuff on the roof that needs to be fixed,” he said. “And the Holy Ghost said, ‘Ask the people.’ He said, ‘Whatever you need is in the house.’ You know what Relentless Church is, it’s a safe place for people to come in the midst of a storm in the natural and the spirit.”

Earlier this year, Greenville Online reported that Relentless had bought Pastor Gray a $1.8 million house back in October.

Church leaders justified the purchase, saying that the multi-million dollar 7,000+ square foot home was needed to attract a leader of Gray’s caliber.

“This is not anything new,” Relentless CFO Travis Hayes said. “This is a practice that is done with every denomination in the nation. That’s what this is. This is an asset that belongs to the church.”

Well, if that’s the case, and the church needs money to fix its 15-year-old roof … wouldn’t it make more fiscal sense to sell the nearly $2 million house, put Pastor Gray in his wife in a more modest home, and then use that money for the church’s repairs instead of begging members to donate their hard-earned money?

Issa Rae’s “Insecure” Co-Stars Confirm Her Engagement to Longtime Boyfriend Louis Diame

Issa Rae is ready to walk down the aisle. The 34-year-old actress is engaged to her longtime boyfriend Louis Diame.

Issa’s Insecure co-stars Yvonne Orji and Jay Ellis confirmed the news on the red carpet of the 2019 NAACP Image Awards this past weekend.

“We’re very excited for her,” Orji told Entertainment Tonight.

Ellis added: “We all found out in different ways because we’re all on different text chains. We talk at different times, so we all found out at different times in different ways.”

Nipsey Hussle’s Last Photo Shows Him Posing With Young Fan Before He Was Shot & Killed

The last known photo of Nipsey Hussle was taken outside of his South Los Angeles clothing store just moments before he was shot and killed Sunday (Mar. 31)

The photo shows the rapper posing with a fan’s young child. Because Nipsey is a father of two young children, many people believed that the picture was of Nipsey and his son, but it actually originated on a fan’s Facebook page.

Another photo shows 33-year-old Hussle, whose real name was Ermias Asghedom, posing with a man.

In both photos, you can see the parking lot in front of Hussle’s Marathon clothing store where he was gunned down.

Other photos/videos that circulated on social media showed Hussle lying wounded in the same parking lot wearing what looked like the same clothes—a white t-shirt, white durag and red shorts.

One particularly graphic image shows the rapper bleeding from his head, corroborating reports that he was shot in the head.

Gossip On This has seen the photos and video footage showing Nipsey as he bled out and paramedics tried to revive him, however, we are choosing not to re-publish them here out respect for his friends and family.

The photos that we’re choosing to share (above) embody the type of man Nipsey was: a father, a community activist and a prolific leader who was loved by many.

Nipsey was heavily involved in the Crenshaw community, in which he worked to prevent gang violence. He also owned several properties in South Los Angeles, including the strip mall where his clothing store is located.

“My career started right here,” he told FOX 11 last November. “This community put me on.”

Nipsey said his goal at the time was to leave a legacy and financial stability for his two children, a daughter and a son.

“We playing the long game. We don’t want the money to stop when we go. When we can’t work no more. We want it to outlive us, we want it to be generational,” he said.

The sad irony behind all of that is that he was murdered in the same community he worked so hard to uplift.

As for the rapper’s suspected killer, cops are looking for a black male in his twenties. Police said he approached Nipsey by foot Sunday afternoon and fired multiple shots before fleeing in a getaway vehicle driven by a woman.

Two others were shot as well and they remain in critical condition.

Authorities believe the shooting to be gang-related.

Nipsey Hussle Dead at 33 After Being Shot Multiple Times Outside His L.A. Clothing Store

Nipsey Hussle died Sunday (Mar. 31) after he was shot multiple times in front of his clothing store in Los Angeles. He was 33 years old.

Multiple sources tell us the rapper was gunned down Sunday in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, south of the Crenshaw area.

We’re told he was at his clothing company called the Marathon Store. He opened the place back in 2017.

Just one hour before reports of the shooting surfaced online, Nipsey tweeted about having “strong enemies.”

Police said three people in all were shot at Nipsey’s store, and one of those people has since died at the hospital. Multiple sources have confirmed that the deceased person is Nipsey.

A man reportedly fled in a vehicle after the shooting. It wasn’t clear if that man was the shooter.

Nipsey, who is from Los Angeles’ Crenshaw neighborhood, is said to have ties with the Crips, but that hasn’t stopped him from working with artists who have affiliations with rival gangs, including YG and The Game, who both have ties with the Bloods.

Nipsey released a number of mixtapes over the course of his 10-year plus rap career, but just released his debut studio album Victory Lap last year.

The project, which was distributed through Atlantic Records and his own record label, All Money In, earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album last month, but he lost out to Cardi B.

Nipsey was also heavily involved in the Crenshaw community and owned several properties in South Los Angeles, including the strip mall where his clothing store is located.

At the time, Nipsey said his goal was to leave a legacy and financial stability for his two children, a daughter and a son.

The Fox 11 report also noted that in an attempt to attract entrepreneurs to Crenshaw, Nipsey opened up a co-working space called Vector 90, which is a very unique business to the area.

“It’s very important that co-working spaces or spaces like this exist in communities like this for people of color where we can have resources and spaces to work. And to network and to meet with people and collaborate with people,” said community manager Desha Greene.

Nipsey Hussle is survived by his two children and longtime girlfriend Lauren London, who gave birth to his second child in 2016.

He and Lauren just participated in a “Couples Quiz” for GQ, which was just released a few days ago.

The Power star is in serious trouble with the Beyhive after a video went viral showing him kissing Beyoncé twice, with one kiss landing VERY close to her lips.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z attended the 2019 NAACP Image Awards Saturday night (Mar. 30) in Los Angeles, where they were each honored with a major award: Entertainer of the Year (Bey) and the President’s Award (Jay).

At some point during the ceremony, Omari Hardwick and his Power co-star Naturi Naughton greeted hip-hop’s royal couple in the audience.

While Naturi chatted it up with Beyoncé, Omari took a quick photo with Jay-Z and then made a bee-line for Beyoncé. When Hardwick and Beyoncé hugged, he kissed her twice … once on the cheek and the second time near her mouth.

As the video footage showing the moment circulated on social media, Bey’s infamous legion of fans pointed out that Omari’s double kiss was inappropriate and way too close to her mouth for comfort … especially considering the fact that her husband of more than 10 years was standing right there. And Beyoncé’s apparently uncomfortable reaction to that second kiss made the moment even more cringeworthy.

The incident quickly went viral on Twitter and “Omari” was a worldwide trending topic throughout the late Saturday night/early Sunday morning hours.

Of course the Beyhive didn’t keep their backlash within the confines of Twitter.

Beyoncé’s loyal fans also took to Instagram, where they flooded the comments section on Omari Hardwick’s posts with bee emojis. Some fans even threatened the actor.

“So you’re the dude that got too close to Beyoncé? South Carolina College Student Gets Into Car Thinking It’s Her Uber & is Found Dead the Next Day

A University of South Carolina student who was reported missing over the weekend has been found dead.

Police said 21-year-old Samantha Josephson was last seen getting into a black Chevrolet Impala in Columbia’s Five Points neighborhood around 2 a.m. early Friday morning (Mar. 29). Prior to that, she was hanging out with her friends in The Bird Dog bar.

One of Samantha’s friends reportedly told police that Samantha had gotten separated from the group and requested an Uber to take her back home. Somehow, she mistakenly got into a car thinking it was her Uber and that was the last time she was seen alive.

Her friends reported her missing around 1:30 p.m. Friday afternoon, police said.

“When she didn’t show up at her downtown residence and didn’t answer repeated phone calls, her friends became concerned and notified CPD,” read a statement from Columbia, S.C. police.

Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook said that Josephson’s body was found at 3:45 am. Saturday morning (Mar. 30) in a wooded area in Clarendon County, South Carolina, which is about 80-90 miles south of Columbia (about an hour and 30-minute drive). The chief said Josephson’s body was discovered by turkey hunters in a “very rural” part of Clarendon County.

“What we know now is that she had, in fact, summoned an Uber ride and was waiting for that Uber ride to come,” Holbrook said, citing surveillance footage. “We believe that she simply mistakenly got into this particular car thinking it was an Uber ride.”

Samantha’s father, Seymour Josephson, wrote a heartbreaking Facebook post early Saturday morning confirming his daughter’s death.

“It is with tremendous sadness and of a broken heart that I post this! I will miss and love my baby girl for the rest of life. Samantha is no longer with us but she will not be forgotten,” he wrote along with a series of photos of him and Samantha.

“It is extremely hard to write this and post it but I love her with all my heart. I could continue to write about her but it kills me. I sit here and cry while looking at the picture and write this.”

The man who police believe murdered Samantha Josephson was identified Saturday as 24-year-old Nathaniel David Rowland. He was arrested and charged with murder and is being held in jail in Columbia.

Chief Holbrook said he spoke with Josephson’s family prior to releasing the information to the media. “Our hearts are broken, they’re broken. There is nothing tougher than to stand before a family and explain how a loved one was murdered,” he said. “It was gut wrenching, words really can’t describe what they’re going through.”

When Josephson’s friends reported her missing, police began to search for the black Chevrolet Impala she was last seen getting into and located Nathaniel Rowland driving a vehicle matching the description around 3 a.m. Saturday. When an officer asked Rowland to get out of the car, he ran, but was quickly captured, police said.

After searching the Impala, police found blood in the car’s passenger’s side and the trunk that later matched to Samantha Josephson.

Police also said that a cell phone that was found in the passenger door compartment area was Josephson’s. Investigators also found a container of liquid bleach, germicidal wipes and window cleaner in the vehicle.

Chief Holbrook said that the vehicle’s child safety locks were activated, which would make it nearly impossible for someone to open the back doors from the inside.

Authorities haven’t revealed how Josephson died and haven’t provided much information about Rowland, but they did say that the area where her body was found is secluded from the city and is only known to those who are familiar with it.

Police said Rowland lived in Clarendon County and was very familiar with the area where police located Johnson’s body.

Holbrook said there’s a lot to uncover with this investigation. “Our investigators and agents have a lot more work to do,” he said. “We are fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters and it’s just as personal to us and will be a priority and we will be with them every step of the way until this is done.”

Samantha Josephson was a political science major, the University of South Carolina College of Arts and Sciences said on Twitter, and she was reportedly due to graduate in May. “Our prayers are with Samantha’s family & friends, & we join the entire Carolina Family in this time of grief,” the college’s tweet said.

USC President Harris Pastides released a statement, saying: “Our prayers are with the family and friends of Samantha Josephson following the devastating news of her death. Times like these leave me searching for words of wisdom and comfort. However, I take solace that the Carolina Family is here to embrace those who are hurting.”

Pastides also urged students to “look out for one another, be active bystanders. Travel in groups and stay together.”

Columbia Mayor Stephen Benjamin said on Twitter Saturday afternoon: “We are praying for the Josephson family and Samantha’s friends in this incredibly sad time. Nothing mitigates the pain of the loss of a child but I have full faith & confidence in the men & women of the Columbia Police Department & SLED as they ably investigate this tragedy.”

According to Samantha’s father’s Facebook page, her family is from Robbinsville Township, New Jersey.

Robbinsville Mayor Dave Fried wrote on Facebook: “Mayor Dave Fried, B.A. Joy Tozzi and everyone in Robbinsville Township are devastated by the news that the Josephson family of Robbinsville have lost their precious Samantha. Our thoughts, prayers, boundless grief and endless support are with Seymour, Marci and Sydney at this unimaginable time.”

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Samantha’s family lay her to rest. “She was a beloved daughter, sister and friend that will forever be remembered in our hearts,” the page said of Samantha. “Let’s quickly come together as a community and try to help the Josephson family. Rest in Peace, Sami.”

Uber hasn’t commented on the situation yet, but their online safety tips advise riders to make sure that the license plate, driver photo and driver name match the information on the app before getting into the car.

NeNe Leakes vs. Porsha Williams: The Shade Flies Fast & Furiously Over RHOA Reunion & Closetgate

The 11th season of Real Housewives of Atlanta has been one for the books.

While NeNe Leakes is very seasoned in this game, this season of RHOA saw the self-proclaimed Head Bitch in Charge become quite undone as she grappled with a rift that formed between her and her cancer-survivor husband, Gregg Leakes.

This stress manifested itself on the show in the form of tear-filled breakdowns, snappy shouting matches with her castmates and, most surprisingly, in a physical confrontation between NeNe, RHOA production, and Porsha. The incident will henceforth be referred to as Closetgate for brevity.

The two episodes after Closetgate explored the rationale and reaction to NeNe’s outburst. From NeNe’s POV, she was justified in her behavior because she told production beforehand not to film her closet and she also told Kandi and Porsha not to go into her closet and they did so anyway.

Porsha and Kandi admit that she did tell them not to go into her closet, but that the physical confrontation was uncalled for.

Porsha also has been insinuating that during the scuffle, NeNe may have put hands on her as she talked about her belt coming undone while demurring when asked to specify how.

Despite this incident happening in the summer, which was SEVERAL months ago, NeNe is still battling with the rest of the cast over Closetgate as the RHOA season 11 reunion trailer showed.

As subsequent episodes have aired, Kandi and NeNe have started their own little WWHL-style post-show video shows where they provide commentary on the episodes.

Kandi’s is way more sophisticated, as it looks like she has actual professionals filming her stuff and it has a brand, “Speak on It,” while NeNe is just filming herself with her iPhone and asking her son Brent to stitch her stuff together in iMovie.

After last week’s episode, where NeNe was caught gagging and laughing as Marlo spilled embarrassing details she heard from one of Eva’s bridesmaids about financial stability and overall character, Kandi sat with Eva to get her reaction to the episode.

NeNe caught wind of the episode, which saw Kandi and Eva both laugh off the fact that NeNe unfollowed them on social media, and the pair also generally threw shade on NeNe’s various breakdowns and her reaction to Closetgate.

NeNe then announced her own YouTube Live, from her CLOSET no less, where she addressed and clarified a bunch of things that the ladies had to say about her, in particular about NeNe being upset with Kandi and Cynthia for inviting Kenya to an event, about how she never did Eva wrong, and how Porsha is pretending that NeNe put hands on her when she didn’t:

I don’t know how long this fight is gonna last, but after The Shade Room and others picked up on the tiff between the two, NeNe and Porsha both deleted the toxic posts from their respective IG accounts, so it seems like a truce has been called.

Meanwhile, Kandi is over on her social media just GAGGING at the back ‘n’ forth as she prepares for another episode of her “Speak on It” talk show with her next guest… Cynthia Bailey!

In all of this, I think NeNe is wrong more so than the other ladies. And while the producers do paint one of them as the villain each season, and it’s true that she set her boundaries with Closetgate clearly, NeNe also can’t defend violence and pretend like ripping the camera guy’s shirt and shoving folks around is ok. Especially when she lectured Porsha about this exact thing a few seasons ago when Porsha put her hands on Kenya at the reunion.

NeNe’s inability to merely acknowledge where she was wrong is why all of these ladies are going after her.

This desperation to always see herself in the right bleeds over into NeNe making up far fetched scenarios such as Porsha going into a recording studio and fake hollering in a bid to make NeNe look bad. Get the hell on, NeNe.

Jada Pinkett Smith Severs Ties With Kris Jenner & the Kardashian Klan After Siding With Jordyn Woods

If there’s one thing no one should underestimate when it comes to Jada Pinkett Smith, it’s her willingness to stand up in defense of those that she loves. The actress is dogged about protecting her family but that feeling doesn’t just apply to her blood relatives.

That same level of protection apparently extends to those she calls family, such as Jordyn Woods, whose father became close with Will after working with him for many years on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Jordyn refers to Will and Jada as her uncle and aunt, and let me tell you, you do not want to end up on Auntie Jada’s wrong side.

If you’ll recall, when the scandal with Jordyn and Khloe’s baby daddy Tristan Thompson broke, the world seemingly descended on little Jordyn. But Jada lifted Jordyn from the ashes and acted as a human shield for the young girl by inviting her on her Facebook show, The Red Table Talk, to give her a safe platform to push back against the Kardashian narrative being peddled.

It worked and many in the black community have now largely decided that they’re more anti-Kardashian than anti-hoe shit and staunchly align with Jordyn and her Aunt Jada and Uncle Will.

While Jada was polite and mostly neutral toward the Kardashians on her show, her decision to so closely defend and protect Jordyn was certain to put Jada in direct conflict with Kris Jenner and her daughters, who she has been friendly with for years.

Evidence of this is now starting to surface with several media outlets noticing that Jada recently stopped following Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian West and Khloe on Instagram, according to TMZ.

There is a serious rupture in one of the most enduring relationships in Hollywood, because Jada Pinkett Smith has made a move signaling what could be the end of her relationship with longtime, close pal Kris Jenner, as well as Kim and Khloe Kardashian … TMZ has learned.

Jada has JUST unfollowed Kris, Khloe and Kim on Instagram, and our sources say it’s all over the fallout involving Jordyn Woods.

It’s unfortunate when friendships go bust, but in this situation, given Jada and Will’s stance, it was inevitable. I can’t blame either side really, cause Kris has to back her daughters.

Chicago PD to Jussie Smollett: Pay Us $130K or We’ll Sue You & Prove You Faked Hate Crime Attack

After all the charges were dropped in the Jussie Smollett case in Cook County, most of us thought that was the end of that. But the City of Chicago and its police department are not letting go.

They are furious about Jussie getting away with murder (figuratively, y’all) and they’re determined to make Jussie pay (literally).

With the criminal charges against Jussie thrown out of court, the City of Chicago is now ginning up to take Jussie to civil court to collect its coins for all the wasted resources they put into investigating Jussie’s allegedly fake hate crime, TMZ reports.

The City is now demanding he pay $130k for the overtime required to investigate the now-infamous “attack.” A City official sent Jussie a demand letter, but his people have already rejected the request, saying the only person owed anything is Jussie — as in, an apology from the Mayor and Police Superintendent.

This has now set up a courtroom showdown, and sources connected to the Mayor tell TMZ … they will absolutely file a civil case to get the money. Under the law, the City can actually collect 3 times the actual amount owed as a penalty — meaning around $390,000.

If Jussie fights it in court, his “attack” case will be fully litigated. A judge will have to decide if the attack was fake before deciding whether Jussie is required to pay. What’s more, the judge would only have to rule that it’s more likely than not — 51/49 percent — that Jussie faked the attack. That’s a much lower standard of proof than a criminal case, which requires proof beyond a reasonable doubt for a conviction.

Now here’s the hard part for Jussie. If a judge rules the attack was fake, it gives the honchos at “Empire” all the ammo they need to say he’s fired, despite the fact the State’s Attorney has dismissed the criminal case.

And, to add insult to injury, if Jussie loses the case but refuses to pay the judgment, the City can execute on the judgment, and that would include garnishing wages and freezing bank accounts — including his “Empire” salary.

To be honest, in looking at this, I don’t know why the City of Chicago didn’t just pursue Jussie through a civil lawsuit in the first place.

While it’s clear that Jussie’s family pressed their friends in the Cook County prosecutor’s office a little too effectively, as the Cook County prosecutors clearly did everything they could to make this go away for Jussie. But they underestimated how quietly they could make this go away and now the Chicago PD and mayor are out for blood. (We won’t even get into how President Trump also wants to see Jussie go down in flames for his fake MAGA bait tale).

So while many black folks were busy applauding Jussie for getting away with it OJ-style, don’t count your chickens before they hatch. Jussie still may pay for his lies in some way.

Atlanta Teen Shot & Killed After Accidentally Knocking on the Wrong Apartment Door

An Atlanta family is in mourning and a man is in police custody after a teen was shot and killed after knocking on the wrong apartment door by mistake.

According to police, 19-year-old Omarian Banks rode home in a Lyft and was dropped off near the wrong breezeway of The Retreat apartment complex in Southwest Atlanta around 12:30 a.m. Friday (Mar. 29).

Police said Banks and his girlfriend had just moved into the apartments and he wasn’t familiar with the area.

Banks went to what he thought was the apartment he shared with his girlfriend, which is upstairs and to the left, but because he was at the wrong building, “upstairs and to the left” was someone else’s unit.

Banks was talking to his girlfriend on Facetime when he knocked on the door, and when he realized he wasn’t at his own apartment, he started to walk away.

Police said that’s when the man inside, identified as 32-year-old Darryl Bynes, grabbed a gun and went to his balcony to confront Banks.

After a short conversation, Bynes shot Banks, police said, and the teen’s girlfriend who he was on Facetime with heard everything.

“I heard him say, ‘Sorry, I’m at the wrong house.’ Then the man said, ‘No you’re not. N***a, you at the right house.’ And he shot two more times,” Banks’ girlfriend told WSBTV.

Another witness told a story similar to Banks’ girlfriend.

“I see him running around the corner and all you hear him saying is, ‘I am sorry. It was the wrong door,'” said a neighbor. “(He said), ‘You ain’t come to the wrong door’ and shot him a third time. I saw him drop to the ground.”

Police Bynes told them he was acting in self-defense when he shot Banks, but officers pointed out that the man shot Banks from his balcony as the teen was coming down the stairs and trying to get away, which is clearly not self-defense.

A family friend described Banks as a hard-working young man who never bothered anybody. “This is a 19-year-old child that didn’t even deserve to die, that hasn’t even lived his life,” Michael Wallace said.

Bynes was charged with murder and he’s being held at the Fulton County Jail without bail. Arrest records show he’s been to jail before on various charges like criminal trespass (2006), drug possession with intent to distribute (2006 & 2009), and driving without a valid license (2017).

Bynes’ family doesn’t think he should have “murder” added to his criminal record though.

The man’s cousin Makayla Johnson told WSBTV: “He is an innocent father. He has five kids. He was protecting his family. His truck was stolen earlier this week, right now, he’s just trying to protect his family.”

Bynes is scheduled to go before a judge Saturday morning (Mar. 30).

“The Wendy Williams Show” Going on Week-Long Hiatus Amid Reports Wendy’s Husband’s Mistress Gave Birth to Love Child

It hasn’t even been a full month since Wendy Williams returned to The Wendy Williams Show and she’s already taking another break.

Amid reports Wendy’s husband and his mistress welcomed a love child last week, it’s now being reported that The Wendy Williams Show will be going on a pre-planned hiatus the week of April 1st.

According to Page Six, Wendy will air repeats next week and resume taping new episodes the following week.

“‘The Wendy Williams Show’ is taking a previously scheduled spring break hiatus and airing repeat episodes during the week of April 1st,” a spokeswoman for the show said in a statement. “The show will return with original episodes on April 8th.”

Although the timing is kind of awkward, considering all of the drama said to be going on in Wendy’s personal life, sources close to production say that this hiatus has “nothing to do with recent events” and was planned months ago.

One source told Page Six: “The staff is excited to have Wendy back, and they understand what’s been going on with her, but it’s business as usual.”

This latest hiatus comes less than a month before Williams returned from a two-month break.

When Wendy came back to the show on March 4th, she said that she was dealing with complications related to her Graves’ disease, but a couple of weeks later, she revealed she was actually living in a sober house to treat her issues with addiction.

Since then, multiple sources have confirmed that Williams’ husband’s mistress Sharina Hudson did, in fact, give birth to a baby girl and it is widely speculated that Williams’ husband, Kevin Hunter, is the newborn’s father.

The day the story broke, Williams reportedly checked herself out of the sober living home and went on a drinking binge before eventually being found by members of her team who took her to the hospital.

After being treated with IV fluids, she returned to the Queens, NY-based sober facility and taped an episode for her show the next day.

“Wendy is not in a good way, everyone is so concerned for her,” a source told Page Six. “The sad thing is that she’s been working so hard to stay sober and she’s been so honest in her struggles with all her fans, and this just tipped her over the edge. But the fact she still came to the set just shows how strong she’s trying to be.”

When TMZ caught up with Wendy on Wednesday (Mar. 27), she flashed her wedding ring and told them she felt “wonderful.” She said she had just left Pilates and was on her way to a “book meeting.”

Meanwhile, sources say that despite the alleged turmoil going on behind the scenes, Kevin still works on The Wendy Williams Show as an executive producer and judging by how he and Wendy act around people on set, you would never know that their marriage is in shambles.

No. 1 Seed UNC Upset by No. 5 Auburn in Sweet 16 Game, Tar Heels Eliminated From NCAA Tournament

North Carolina has been eliminated from the 2019 NCAA tournament after a devastating 97-80 loss to the Auburn Tigers Friday night (Mar. 29).

UNC’s loss tonight makes them the first No. 1 seed to fall in the NCAA tournament and allows Auburn to move to the next round, the Elite 8.

The first half lived up to the up-and-down track meet promised, with Auburn keeping up with North Carolina’s vaunted pace as the two teams traded blows.

But the end of the half was a premonition of what was yet to come as Auburn closed on a 6-0 run that included a transition layup from J’Von McCormick to beat the buzzer to take a 41-39 lead into halftime.

Auburn kept the throttle on to start the second half, opening with a pair of 3-pointers and a Malik Dunbar jumper to extend its lead to 49-39 and assert full control over the game.

The Tar Heels made repeated efforts to close the gap, getting within 60-54 with 13:41 remaining.

But then the Tigers opened the flood gates. Three-point shots that mostly missed as Auburn played a close first half started to drop with abandon.

Carolina had no answer. It was playing from behind as Auburn only got hotter from the field and failed to find the run that would keep its championship hopes alive.

DoorDash Driver Caught on Camera Sipping Teen’s Milkshake Before Delivering It

Thanks to a number of popular smartphone apps, ordering food from restaurants is hella easy and hella convenient. And most of us who use these restaurant delivery services trust that our food will be handled with care and arrive untouched.

But, unfortunately, that wasn’t the case for one teenager whose delivery driver took a sip of the milkshake he ordered … and the whole thing was caught on camera.

According to Fox40, earlier this month, 14-year-old Stockton, California resident Rishab Malhotra used the popular DoorDash app to order himself a cookies and cream milkshake from Cold Stone Creamery.

The next day, when Rishab’s dad was reviewing the footage from their doorbell’s security camera, he saw the delivery driver drinking out of Rishab’s milkshake before handing it over to the teen, who answered the door.

“I looked at it, ‘Hey, the guy who delivered the food was sipping out of my son’s Cold Stone,'” said Rajesh Malhotra. “(I thought), ‘Whoa, that’s crazy.’ I mean, how can someone jeopardize the product like that, especially the food?”

Rishab told Fox40 he enjoyed his cookies and cream milkshake until the next day when he found out he wasn’t the only one who consumed the drink.

“My dad told me to check out the video from last night and once I checked it out I brushed five, six times,” Rishab said. “I felt really disgusted.”

The Malhotra family says they’re glad no one got sick from the incident, but the experience has ruined food delivery services for them.

“We have trust between the company and the drivers,” Rajesh Malhotra said. “Once that trust is broken, we can’t go back.”

Now all the family wants is an apology from DoorDash and a promise from the company that what happened to them won’t happen again to someone else in the future.

“They just need proper training and then an apology, ‘Hey, what you did was wrong.’ And we want to make sure he doesn’t do that to other people,” Mr. Malhotra said.

The Malhotras said they immediately reported the incident to DoorDash and even provided a video so they could see what happened for themselves, but the company has yet to respond.

10-Year-Old Boy Died By Suicide After Bullies Told Him “Kill Yourself, You Don’t Belong Here”

A Texas mother is mourning the loss of her 10-year-old son who died by suicide after suffering relentless bullying at the hands of his elementary school peers.

Crystal Smith described her son, Kevin Reese Jr., as a “goofy child” that had the biggest smile and loved to draw and paint. “He’s my little goof troop, I called him,” Smith said.

On the outside, Kevin seemed like a happy kid … but little did Smith know, her son was dealing with serious depression issues as a result of being relentlessly bullied by his classmates.

“I just thought he was handling the situations,” Smith told Houston’s ABC13 earlier this week. “They wrote on his tablet to kill yourself, ‘You don’t belong here.’ When it got physical back in November, he came home crying because he didn’t fight back and one of the boys punched him several times coming from recess.”

On the afternoon of January 21st, Kevin’s 13-year-old sister found him hanging in his bedroom closet. Smith was out of town for work at the time and the children’s stepfather was on his way home from work.

“She was just screaming on the phone, and I didn’t understand and she screamed, ‘Kevin,'” Crystal said of her teenage daughter’s immediate reaction to her brother’s suicide. “I told her to hang on with me, if you cut him down and while you’re cutting him down, call 911.”

It’s been two months and Crystal still can’t believe that her son took his life.

“I never thought he would go this far never,” she said. “I’m still in disbelief and it’s taking me a while to actually accept the fact that this happened.” She added: “I just want to find the answer, what happened that day, what was going through his mind.”

Smith said after her son’s suicide, she reached out to his school regarding the November 2018 incident in which Kevin said a boy punched him, but was told by officials that they “never found any bullying going on.”

Crystal hopes that telling her son’s story will help other families. She also urged parents to “pay attention to your child, don’t assume that things are handled at the school, stay on top of it until you see something come out on the end.”

Disturbing Video Shows Guy Beating the Crap Out of His Girlfriend After She Played a “Break Up Prank” on Him

Social media is in an uproar over a viral video that shows a guy beating the crap out of his girlfriend after she played a “break up prank” on him.

The internet is known for its prank videos, and when one girl decided to take part of a viral trend called the “break-up prank,” where you sit your significant other down and tell them that your relationship is over, she was mercilessly beaten by her boyfriend.

The video being shared all over social media appears to begin right after the girlfriend tells her boyfriend that she’s breaking up with him.

“Don’t touch me bruh,” he says to her. “What is it?” she replies. “Bruh, you tell me,” he says. “You mad?” she asks.

The boyfriend then says “You don’t wanna be with me?” and the girl grabs his arm as if she knows what was about to happen next. “I don’t care,” she says, laughing.

At that point, the boyfriend punches the girl right in her face, knocking her head against the wall behind her. He continues to punch her multiple times as she whimpers and tells him “It’s a prank! It’s a prank!”

Someone in the background can be heard yelling “Y’all chill!” and the guy eventually stops, telling his girlfriend, “Stop playing with me then bro!” before letting her know he’s leaving.

It isn’t clear exactly when the video was originally recorded, but multiple versions of it popped up online late Wednesday night/early Thursday morning (Mar. 28). One version on Twitter has over 2 million views.

According to some of the commenters on Twitter, the teenaged girl and boy are from Waco, Texas.

Internet sleuths uncovered both the girl and her boyfriend’s Instagram pages.

Some Twitter users said the girl, whose IG handle is @itss.kalayaa went on IG Live defending her boyfriend’s actions, and the guy, whose IG username is @dso.hotboyy, also allegedly defended himself, saying that he “didn’t mean for it to go down like that.”

We weren’t able to find an archived video of the full live stream though so we’re not able to verify this information … but we did see one short video from the girl’s IG Live in which she says she and her boyfriend “punch each other” because “we got real love over here.”

Meanwhile … their respective IG pages seem to paint a totally different picture than the one seen in the video of him beating the crap out of her. Take a look at some of the photos/videos we saw of them all “boo’d up” below:

One particularly alarming photo the boyfriend shared to his IG stories though shows him pointing a gun to the girl’s head. He captioned the pic: “Somebody I love at the end of the day so what!”

The girlfriend also posted a text message thread on her IG stories in which she downplays what happened in the video, saying “Everybody just making a big scene about it” and “it’s not that serious.”

She wrote in a caption over the screenshot of the messages: “Maaaannn the sh*t didn’t go as planned; mind yours!!!”

The boy said in another post, in response to the backlash he’s been receiving: “I’m 17 [the f**k] y’all worried about me for … she good, we good, she ain’t got no bruises or [nothing, the f**k] y’all steady talking for!”

Many social media users are calling for the boyfriend to be arrested, but it doesn’t look like the girlfriend will be pressing charges anytime soon.

In another post shared to her IG Stories, the girl urged people to “follow my man” and “stop reporting us.”

One Twitter user said in a private message that the Waco Police Department DMed her saying that they were investigating the incident.

It’s (almost) reunion time! We’re just two weeks away from the Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 11 Reunion, and Bravo is giving us a sneak peek at what to expect.

From the looks of it, NeNe Leakes has beef with the ENTIRE cast. It’s literally Nene versus ERRBODY (minus her bestie Marlo Hampton, of course).

Earlier this month, after filming the reunion special, NeNe reportedly unfollowed all of her RHOA co-stars except for Marlo … and now we see why.

The minute-and-a-half clip shows the ladies addressing everything from the “closet-gate” incident at the “Bye Wig” party when NeNe allegedly put her hands on Porsha and did something with a belt … to the demise of NeNe and Cynthia’s friendship.

NeNe feels like she betrayed her by not warning her about Kenya Moore attending Porsha’s baby shower, but Cynthia says she had no idea Kenya was going to be there.

“If NeNe wants to fall out over this petty ass shit, then let us fall out over it,” Cynthia says.

NeNe also calls Tanya a “f**king liar” and even goes at it with Eva.

“The fact that you would give a big f*ck you to all of us,” Porsha snapped at NeNe, pointing to herself, Cynthia, Eva and Tanya, “We are NOT friends!”

WATCH: Cardi B Brags About Drugging Men & Setting Them Up With “Trannies” As Punishment for Cheating

This is just not Cardi B’s week. Yet another video clip of her bragging about drugging men has resurfaced and is being shared all over social media.

Earlier this week, the “Please Me” rapper was forced to apologize for an old video that went viral where she talks about how she used to drug and rob men who would proposition her for sex back in her stripper days. And now another video of her talking about doing disturbing things to men has gone viral.

As the #SurvivingCardiB hashtag took over Twitter in response to the first video, internet sleuths uncovered a second video in which Cardi breaks down in graphic detail how she would get back at a man who cheats on her.

Cardi said instead of getting mad, she would simply get even by getting her cheating boyfriend drunk and high on Percocets and then setting up a threesome with and a transgender woman without his knowledge.

“I’m gonna get him all perked up and everything. We’re gonna have a good time. Get him super twisted. Then bring a bitch around. We’re gonna have a threesome,” she said.

“And when he wakes up he’s gonna be like ‘What the f*ck?’ because the bitch was a tranny… I’m gonna be like, ‘Yeah we had a threesome with a tranny. Yup, a tranny sucked your d*ck.”

Cardi concluded her disturbing rant by telling her female fans “You don’t gotta f*ck another ni**a to get even bitch, there’s other ways to get even.”

Cardi caught a lot of heat on Twitter over the original video showing her talking about drugging and robbing men.

The Bronx-bred rapper said in the now viral clip: “I had to go strip, I had to go, ‘Oh yeah, you want to f*ck me? Yeah, yeah, yeah, let’’ go back to this hotel,’ and I drugged n***as up, and I robbed them. That”s what I used to do.”

Cardi was clearly speaking in the past tense, and the video itself is three years old, according to the rapper herself, but that didn’t stop the clip from going viral on social media and inspiring the hashtag #SurvivingCardiB, an obvious reference to the Lifetime docu-series Surviving R. Kelly.

Some Twitter users claimed she should lose her endorsement deals, while others (probably Nicki Minaj fans) called for her incarceration.

One user wrote: “Bill Cosby drugged women some 60 years ago. Still people went apeshit. We need to do that NOW TOO!! She didn’t do better! She’s a criminal and belongs to jail.”

Others pointed out a double standard, saying that if Cardi was a man, she would be canceled without question.

“The thing that gets me is if a guy admitted to this publically, they’d be bashed left and right, so why is it ok in the reverse situation?” questioned one user.

And then there were those who came to Cardi’s defense, with one person calling the #SurvivingCardiB hashtag “fake outrage.”

“This #SurvivingCardiB hashtag is just another example of fake outrage,” the Twitter user wrote. “Do you know HOW MANY RAPPERS you would have to CANCEL based on their “street life”? Chile! Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Jay Z? Do I need to keep going? Nobody said its right. Thats HER REALITY.”

Cardi eventually (kinda sorta) apologized for her comments in the video and explained her thought process at the time she was doing the things she talked about in the clip.

“I never claim to be perfect or come from a perfect world [with] a perfect past I always speak my truth I always own my sh*t,” she said. “I made the choices that I did at the time because I had very limited options. I was blessed to have been able to rise from that but so many women have not … Whether or not they were poor choices at the time I did what I had to do to survive.”

R. Kelly’s Former Hairdresser Says He Forced Her to Perform Oral Sex on Him & Also Spit on Her

One of the many women accusing Robert Sylvester Kelly of sexually abusing them in his 10-count indictment has come forward to tell her story.

Forfeiting her anonymity, Lanita Carter—a woman identified as “L.C.” in the indictment—sat down for an interview with CBS This Morning this week and broke her silence about the alleged sexual abuse she suffered at the hands of R. Kelly.

Through tears, Lanita described in great detail the February 18th, 2003 assault that helped lead to Kelly’s arrest almost 16 years to the date later.

She said she working for Kelly as a hairdresser at the time, and on the day of the alleged sexual assault, she said the singer asked her for a head massage, which she refused.

Lanita, who was 24 years old at the time of the alleged incident, said she told Kelly she didn’t do massages, and laughed off his request because she didn’t think he was serious. But he quickly made it clear to her that he was very serious.

Lanita said Kelly “pulled my braid down by him. And he said, ‘Suck it for daddy, suck it for daddy.’ And I said, ‘No.'” Lanita said the singer proceeded to spit on her at least six times as he forced her to perform oral sex on him.

Lanita says she went straight to the police after the incident and submitted the shirt she was wearing into evidence. She said investigators found semen on the shirt and later told her that the bodily fluids were a DNA match to the one and only R. Kelly.

Lanita, who said she saw Kelly as a big brother before the alleged incident and even stood by his side throughout the 2008 child pornography case, chose not to file charges and eventually settled a lawsuit against him for $650,000.

In 2009, R. Kelly released a song called “Hair Braider,” in which he sings about having sex with a woman who braids his hair.

When Lanita called Kelly out on how the song seemed to reference the alleged 2003 sexual assault incident, he paid her an additional $100,000 in damages and promised to never perform the song or release it on his albums. (You can still find it online though … see the video below.)

Lanita said she immediately went to the Cook County State Attorney’s Office after prosecutors put out a call earlier this for Kelly’s victims to come forward amid the uproar surrounding Lifetime’s “Surviving R. Kelly” docu-series.

“I was sexually abused by him and I live after that. I try to pick up the pieces every day,” she told CBS correspondent Jericka Duncan. “It’s hard but I know I’ll get through it. I’m not ashamed of my past anymore. I’m not ashamed of what naysayers say. This is a release.”

She went on:

“I’ve been carrying this since 2003. I have had to sit on a public bus and watch public conversation: ‘Did you hear about what they did with R. Kelly? They need to leave that man alone.’

“And I can’t stand up for myself. I finally realized: I don’t wanna be this victim. I don’t wanna be a part of this.

“When I finally realized I don’t want to be this victim, I don’t want to be a part of this, every time I tried to pick myself up again, I felt like something on the news brought me back to what I thought I swept under the rug.

“Today I say: no more. You can talk about me. You can not like what I’m sayin’ about your favorite singer. But this is my life. This is my truth. This is what I have. If I die tomorrow, I know that I told the truth.”

R. Kelly, of course, vehemently denied the allegations listed in the indictment in his own CBS This Morning interview with Gayle King. You’ll remember, he broke down crying and shouted “I didn’t do this stuff … I”m fighting for my f***ing life!”

Lanita said she watched that interview and was couldn’t believe how Kelly was “able to get on television and lie.” She said the interview is actually the reason why she chose to speak out: “It’s actually the reason that I’m here.”

Things really haven’t been working out so much in Usher’s favor in recent years.

His music ain’t been toppin’ the charts like it used to, for starters. Then there was the horribly embarrassing news that broke in summer 2017 that Usher allegedly has herpes and was out here distributing it to folks like candy on Halloween.

So it’s safe to say Mr. Raymond’s been on a losing streak the past couple of years … which is why it’s understandable that he retreat to a time and era when he was on top of the world: 2004, when Confessions was released.

There’s been talk some time of Ursha doing a sequel to Confessions, but it’s never come to fruition. That is, until now … when Usher shared a shot of him and Jermaine Dupri working together in the studio on March 17th.

The two hitmakers being in the studio didn’t confirm that the sequel to his chart-topping album was in the works though. No, that came in a follow-up post the next week, on March 27th, where he posted a pic of himself in the studio asking, “Dis what yall want…”

What I want is grammar and punctuation in your social media posts, Usher, but let’s not get carried away.

If you didn’t notice, in the background of this picture, on the dry-erase board, it says Confessions 2, which confirms that the follow-up to the 2004 album is indeed real, and actually in the works.

Honestly, if the music is good, then great. Bring on Confessions 2. But if it’s trash, calling it Confessions 2 isn’t going to do shit for him.

And since he’s going the “confessions” route, I hope he plans on addressing, once and for all, whether he has herpes or not. Cause the amount of gossip out on the streets about Usher’s lumpy, bumpy genitalia was simply too much to pretend like we didn’t hear it.

Plus, you can’t really be a heartthrob, sex symbol, R&B Romeo again if half of your fanbase is distracted by thoughts of you spreading STIs to your groupies, jumpoffs and side chicks.

Diana Ross’ 75th birthday party was a star-studded affair, and the whole thing was topped off with an impromptu Beyoncé performance.

Surrounded by partygoers, Queen Bey serenaded Ross with a rendition of the “Happy Birthday” song during the music legend’s “Diamond Diana” celebration at the Warwick in Hollywood Tuesday night (Mar. 26).

Tracee Ellis Ross reportedly asked Bey to do the honors of singing “Happy Birthday” to her iconic mother.

“Wait, Beyoncé, are you still here?” Tracee asked. “Do you want to sing ‘Happy Birthday?’ Come on down.”

Despite there being a “no phones” policy, everyone pulled out their phones as soon as Beyoncé started singing.

Ross thanked the crowd after hugging Beyoncé. “Thank you all. I am so blessed to have so many people here to share this with me. I love you so much,” she said.

In addition to Beyoncé, a number of celebs were in attendance, including Bey’s own mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, Diddy, French Montana, Berry Gordy (with whom Ross shares a daughter with), Robin Thicke, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, Angela Bassett, Gabrielle Union and more.

Earlier that night, Ross performed a sold-out show at the Hollywood Palladium and brought out Diddy and his three daughters, D’Lila Star, Jessie James, and Chance to join her for a performance of “Stop! In the Name of Love.”

“One of the best days of my life!!!” Puff tweeted. “My three Queens sharing the stage with the legendary and the beautiful @DianaRoss!!!!!!”
