South Carolina 5th Grader Dies After Suffering Serious Injuries From School Fight, Family Says She Was Bullied

A South Carolina fifth grader who was severely injured in a classroom fight has died.

According to local ABC affiliate WCIV, 10-year-old RaNiya Wright suffered serious injuries after getting into a fight with another student at Forest Hills Elementary School in Walterboro, S.C. (near Charleston) on Monday (Mar. 25).

Because her injuries were so severe, Wright was airlifted from the school to the Medical University of South Carolina, where she was unresponsive on life support for two days before eventually passing away early Wednesday morning (Mar. 27).

The other student involved in the fight was suspended from school. It isn’t clear if the student will be charged with a crime as the fight remains under investigation. Authorities haven’t released any further details about the incident.

The extent of Wright’s injuries and her cause of death weren’t immediately made available, but Colleton County Coroner said an autopsy will be conducted on Friday.

The school district deployed a crisis response team to the school Tuesday to offer support to students and staff.

“We are devastated by this news, and we want our communities to keep their thoughts and prayers with the student’s family at this time,” the district said in a statement, adding that guidance and counseling services were being provided to students, staff and family members “as needed.”

The district’s statement continued: “The well-being of our students and staff will remain a top priority as we deal with the emotions surrounding this tragedy. Children may be coming home with questions and worries about this loss. Please feel free to contact the school counselors if you have an issue you would like to discuss.”

School district spokesperson Sean Gruber personally released a statement on behalf of superintendent Dr. Franklin Foster extending “heartfelt condolences” and “thoughts and prayers” to the family.

“Raniya was a wonderful student,” Gruber said. “She loved to write, spend time with her friends, play basketball and loved being a big sister. She was actively involved in her church as a junior usher. She will be missed greatly by her family, friends, and the entire school community.”

RaNiya Wright’s family say she was a victim of bullying, and prior to her passing, a Colleton County teacher, who asked to remain anonymous, told ABC News 4 that bullying is a problem in the school district.

“I feel that our children aren’t safe,” the teacher said. “My child had personally went through it on two different occasions. At one point she had to switch schools and it was not handled properly.”

The teacher said that she’s reported several incidents of bullying in her own classroom this year alone. “I immediately stop it when I see it. If I notice it as a continuous thing, I report it,” she said.

She added that the bullying is so bad that she’s considering moving. “It’s making me want to leave, making me want to pack up my children and just move on,” the teacher said.

A GoFundMe page has been setup to help RaNiya’s family to help pay for her medical costs and funeral expenses. The fundraiser’s $25,000 goal was surpassed less than an hour after RaNiya’s passing was announced.

Arby’s Manager Charged With Murder After Shooting & Killing Customer Who Spit in Her Face

An Arby’s manager in Tulsa, Oklahoma has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder after shooting and killing a customer who spit in her face during a heated altercation.

Tulsa police said they responded to a crash at a local Walmart on Saturday (Mar. 23) and discovered the driver, 25-year-old Desean Tallent, had been shot.

Upon further investigation, police said Tallent had been involved in an altercation with a manager at a nearby Arby’s, which ended with him “making threats to the manager and spitting in her face.” (FYI: Spitting on someone is considered assault.)

Police said the manager, 25-year-old Deionna Young, flagged down officers near the restaurant and filed a report on the incident, naming Tallant as the assault suspect. Young told police that Tallant threatened to return to the Arby’s, which he did about an hour later.

As Tallant circled the parking lot, Young ran outside, got into her car and chased him down the street. Young shot once at Tallant’s vehicle and then drove back to work.

Tallent later died from a gunshot wound to his upper torso.

Tulsa police said they tracked Young down and arrested her at her apartment, where they say they found a pistol, but Young claimed that the destroyed the murder weapon.

Young confessed to the crime and showed police where she disposed of the gun. She was booked for first-degree murder and is being held on $1,000,000 bond, her arrest report states. She’s due in court in April 4th.

Arby’s said in a statement to ABC affiliate KTUL that it was conducting a “comprehensive internal investigation into the incident.”

Monica Files for Divorce From Husband Shannon Brown After 8 Years of Marriage

It’s over between R&B singer Monica and her former NBA player husband Shannon Brown.

According to TMZ, Monica filed paperwork in Atlanta earlier this month to divorce Shannon after eight years of marriage.

The 38-year-old Grammy winner and 33-year-old former L.A. Lakers star secretly wed in November 2010 but kept their marriage under wraps for months before confirming the news in January 2011.

Monica and Brown later tied the knot again at a second ceremony for their family and friends in July 2011.

There was speculation that the Browns had separated in October 2018, but the rumors were quelled after she posted a lovey-dovey photo of the pair on a double date with Kobe & Vanessa Bryant.

Former “RHOA” Star Phaedra Parks’ Ex-Husband Apollo Nida Getting Out of Prison One Year Early

It looks like while former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Apollo Nida has been wasting away in federal prison, he’s been on his best behavior.

Lucky for him, federal judges are apparently paying attention to those who keep their noses out of trouble.

According to a report from Entertainment Tonight, Phaedra Parks’ ex-husband is going to be released from prison a whole year earlier than expected.

Nida, who was initially sentenced to 96 months in prison on July 8, 2014, for conspiracy to commit bank fraud, has had his sentence reduced to 84 months in the ruling from United States District Judge Charles A. Pannell, Jr.

After the reduction, Nida has just over a year left on his sentence and will be released in August 2020.

This is certainly good news for Apollo, but so far, his ex-wife Phaedra hasn’t reacted.

Apollo’s new bae, Sherien, will undoubtedly be glad to welcome her fiancé home sooner than she’d expected.

Cardi B sparked a viral hashtag on Twitter after an old video resurfaced in which she admitted to drugging and robbing men who propositioned her sex back in her stripper days.

The Bronx-bred rapper says in the now viral clip: “I had to go strip, I had to go, ‘Oh yeah, you want to f*ck me? Yeah, yeah, yeah, let’s go back to this hotel,’ and I drugged n***as up, and I robbed them. That’s what I used to do.”

Cardi was clearly speaking in the past tense, and the video itself is three years old, according to the rapper herself, but that didn’t stop the clip from going viral on social media and inspiring the hashtag #SurvivingCardiB, an obvious reference to the Lifetime docu-series Surviving R. Kelly, which extensively covered allegations that R. Kelly committed multiple acts of sexual abuse against various women.

Some Twitter users claimed she should lose her endorsement deals, while others (probably Nicki Minaj fans) called for her incarceration.

Others were a bit more supportive, though, and pointed out that Cardi B shouldn’t be held accountable for actions she did while she was in the struggle.

Cardi initially seemed unfazed by social media’s efforts to “cancel” her and announced she was taking a couple of days off Twitter.

When Cardi returned to social media, she explained the video’s origins and her thought process at the time it was filmed.

“So I’m seeing on social media that [an Instagram] live I did 3 years ago has popped back up. A live where I talked about things I had to do in my past right or wrong that I felt I needed to do to make a living,” she wrote in a post on Tuesday. “I never claim to be perfect or come from a perfect world [with] a perfect past I always speak my truth I always own my sh*t.”

The rapper said that while many artists glorify violence and crime in their music, that’s never been her style.

“There are rappers that glorify murder violence drugs [and] robbing. Crimes they feel they had to do to survive,” she said. “I never glorified the things I brought up in that live I never even put those things in my music because I’m not proud of it and feel responsibility not to glorify it.”

While the former stripper admitted she wasn’t proud of her past actions, she felt as though they were necessary at the time.

“I made the choices that I did at the time because I had very limited options. I was blessed to have been able to rise from that but so many women have not,” Cardi said. “Whether or not they were poor choices at the time I did what I had to do to survive.”

She concluded: “The men I spoke about in my life were men that I dated that I was involved with … men that were conscious willing and aware. I have a past that I can’t change … we all do. All I can do now is be a better me for myself my family and my future.”

Wendy Williams Hospitalized for Alcohol Relapse Following Reports of Husband’s New Baby With Mistress

Wendy Williams has reportedly relapsed and was taken to the hospital after she was “found drunk” and “in a bad way” after taping Monday’s episode of her daytime talk show.

According to sources, Wendy’s alcohol relapse was triggered by the birth of her husband Kevin Hunter’s new love child with his mistress Sharina Hudson.

It’s understood the star’s sober coach, who had been with her 24 hours a day, raised the alarm.

A studio source told DailyMail.com: “She was in a bad way and disappeared from the studio after her show Monday. She went back to the sober house only to check herself out and decided to start drinking. It’s not clear where she went but she headed in the direction of her home in Jersey and managed to find alcohol along the way.

“Word got back to the studio and there was panic and concern, everyone was looking for her, no one knew whether there would be a show today. She was eventually found and was drunk, she was immediately taken to the hospital.

It’s understood Wendy was given a banana bag—a bag of IV fluids containing vitamins and minerals which helps clear a person’s system and sober them up. The solution has a yellow color hence the term “banana bag.”

“Wendy was in a bad way so everyone was amazed that she made it in to the studio this morning to do the show,” the source added.

Trooper Wendy didn’t seem worse for wear on her show on Tuesday morning but she’s still torn up over her husband Kevin Hunter having a baby.

Hunter’s massage therapist mistress H 33, is believed to have given birth to a little girl last week. She was discharged from the hospital on Sunday, according to reports.

Wendy was spotted looking downtrodden leaving her sober house on Monday morning and noticeably absent was her wedding ring. However, by the time her show aired, she slipped it on. She did the same thing again on Tuesday.

The source says Wendy is keeping her ring on during filming until she has worked out what to do, but takes it off once outside of the studio.

“Wendy is considering divorcing Kevin. She’s really distraught over the situation, she knew about Sharina but didn’t think a baby would arrive, she didn’t think Kevin would go this far, she’s lost and everyone is worried for her,” they added.

Wow … Sounds like Wendy is really going through it! She just needs to go on ahead and divorce that man because it’s obviously taking a toll on her health and sobriety.

Jussie Smollett’s Criminal Case Has Been DROPPED, Chicago Police Reportedly “Furious”

Jussie Smollett won’t be going to jail anytime soon … because all of his criminal charges had been dropped!

In what may be the final shocking plot twist of the Jussie Smollett hate crime attack scandal, TMZ reports that the “Empire” actor will NOT be prosecuted for allegedly the attack and his record has been wiped clean.

Via TMZ:

Jussie and his lawyers ran to court Tuesday morning in Chicago, where he was facing 16 felony counts of lying to police in the alleged racial and homophobic attack.

Jussie will surrender his $10,000 bond. But, that’s it. The case is over.

We’re told the State’s Attorney, Kim Foxx, told Chicago police she was dropping the case because Jussie would have only gotten community service if convicted and she said he has already performed community service so there is no point in prosecuting him. We could not find any record of Smollett doing community service.

We’re told Chicago police are “furious” and feel something untoward is going on with Kim Foxx.

Jussie’s lawyers say, “Today, all criminal charges against Jussie Smollett were dropped and his record has been wiped clean of the filing of this tragic complaint against him. Jussie was attacked by 2 people he was unable to identify on January 29th. He was a victim who was vilified and made to appear as a perpetrator as a result of false and inappropriate remarks made to the public, causing an inappropriate rush to judgment.”

The lawyers go on … “Jussie and many others were hurt by these unfair and unwarranted actions. This entire situation is a reminder that there should never be an attempt to prove a case in the court of public opinion. That is wrong. It is a reminder that a victim, in this case Jussie, deserves dignity and respect. Dismissal of charges against the victim in this case was the only just result.”

A source close to Jussie says the prosecution’s case “disintegrated.” As we reported, there were issues with the $3,500 check the 2 brothers received from Jussie. The Police Superintendent had said the money was payment for the fake attack, but it appears it was actually for physical training.

The Police Superintendent also said during a news conference that Jussie wrote that threatening letter 6 days before the attack when in actuality the FBI had not concluded who wrote the letter.

State’s Attorney Kim Foxx’s office says, “After reviewing all of the facts and circumstances of the case, including Mr. Smollett’s volunteer service in the community and agreement to forfeit his bond to the City of Chicago, we believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case.”

Jussie’s family has also released a statement celebrating the news. They state, “This morning truth has prevailed and (Jussie) has been vindicated.”

They continue, “While many were quick to rush to judgment before hearing the actual truth, we are grateful that the truth about Jussie has come to light. We look forward to bringing the real perpetrators to justice.”

Sources say Chicago Police Department Superintendent Eddie Johnson is “furious” and that he received no notification about the charges being dropped.

Blac Chyna Takes Her Foot Off Rob Kardashian’s Neck When It Comes to $20K Monthly Child Support

There’s good news for Rob Kardashian: His monthly expenses just got a whole lot more affordable.

According to a report from TMZ, Blac Chyna has agreed to cut Rob’s mandated $20,000 a month in child support.

Rob Kardashian will no longer have to fork over heaps of cash to Blac Chyna every month … in fact, he won’t have to pay her at all.

Sources close to the former couple tell TMZ the two have hammered out a final custody agreement for their 2-year-old daughter, Dream. We’re told Rob and Chyna will split custody 50/50 … though Rob will likely have his daughter more of the time.

What’s really incredible … Rob was paying Chyna $20K per month in support and now he’ll pay nothing. Our sources tell us the agreement states each parent will only pay for Dream’s needs when she’s with them … and things like medical expenses and school will be split down the middle.

This is yet another positive step in the right direction for Rob and Chyna. The two are definitely no longer romantically involved, but their co-parenting relationship seems to be finally on the right track.

And with Rob getting more time with Dream than she will, it makes sense that the child support burden is eased. Given that Chyna has to do late-night club appearances (and link up with random men like YBN Almighty Jay, Kid Buu and Soulja Boy for clout and sex), it’s understandable that she’d relinquish more custody to Rob. The club ain’t no place for a baby.

In all honesty, the person who is most likely relieved is Kris Jenner, cause you know her ass has been paying that $20,000 on Rob’s broke-ass behalf.

Eva Marcille’s Bitter Baby Daddy Kevin McCall Has Social Media Meltdown After Eva’s RHOA Wedding Episode Airs

While most people know Eva Marcille Pigford for being one of the early winners of Tyra Banks’ reality show modeling competition America’s Next Top Model, she’s also unfortunately known for the hot ghetto mess that was her relationship with Chris Brown’s one-time homie, Kevin McCall.

McCall has a very contentious relationship with reality, stability, and frankly, sanity. His emotional outbursts on social media are legendary as he’s repeatedly gone back and forth with celebrities on social media such as Chris Brown and Wale.

He also attempted to get his life together by going on Iyanla Vanzant’s Fix My Life, but not even Iyanla’s magical mammy titty and spiritual voodoo could fully heal this traumatized, broken boy masquerading as a man.

After McCall’s relationship with Eva went south, he completely went ham on her, and in one of the saddest episodes to play out on social media ever, he PUBLICLY disowned his baby girl with Eva, Marley, telling Eva she could keep their daughter and that he was erasing all memories of Marley, according to the Atlanta Black Star.

Well, Eva took Crazy Kev up on his offer and promptly erased the title of “daddy” or “father” whenever she referenced him going forward and has since taken to calling Kevin Marley’s “donor” rather than her father.

Eva repeatedly made it a point to highlight this during the most recent episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta where she married Michael Sterling, a lawyer, who she referred to as Marley’s father.

She also explained to her cast mates that the reason she moves so often and is private about her location is because Kevin is volatile, violent and has supposedly stalked her in the past. If you’ll recall, she accused him of domestic violence when they split back in 2015.

This pissed Kevin off, and he took to social media to let his feelings be known about the matter, with very colorful language:

You know, you have to be careful what you wish for. Kevin publicly and openly claimed he was deleting his daughter out of his life, mind and spirit and now Eva is holding him to that incredibly hurtful claim.

So now that Kevin has changed his mind, it’s really quite unfair to play the “woe is me” act. But then again, he is clearly mentally and emotionally impaired so he likely didn’t post what he did with all of his faculties.

But if that’s the case, he should be routinely posting and reposting an apology to his daughter Marley and retracting his cruel posts where he disowned his own flesh and blood.

Dr. Dre Bragged About Daughter Getting Into USC “All On Her Own” As If $70 Million Donation Didn’t Help

At a very young age, most of us are taught that it’s not kind or wise to brag. Unfortunately, hip-hop is a genre where nearly 90% of the talent and material consists of nothing more than stunting on your peers, your enemies and hell, even your own family.

But Dr. Dre is a whole-ass 54-year-old billionaire who, for the most part, keeps his mouth shut, head down and minds his business.

So when Dre posted a mocking post on his Instagram account that highlighted the fact that his daughter, Truly Young, got into USC without cheating (a clear dig at Aunt Becky ‘nem who’ve been in the headlines for the college admissions scandal), it seemed tacky and ill-advised.

“My daughter got into USC all on her own. No jail time!!” he stupidly wrote on his Instagram post, which has since been deleted.

But little did we know that the web was about to get a WHOLE lot more tangled.

You see, it turns out that Dre’s hands actually weren’t all that clean as he personally donated $70 million to USC in 2013. And in fact, they have a whole department named after him at the university: The Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation.

So while Dre might not have hired a college admissions coach to fake an athletic career for Truly or have someone help her to cheat on her SAT tests, his daughter clearly benefited from the same kind of privilege and unfair advantages that the wealthy have when it comes to the college admissions process as there is little doubt that her father’s GENEROUS donation to the university absolutely helped greatly sway the likelihood of her application turning into an admission.

Even more damning is the fact that Truly, like Olivia Jade, was out here on social media ADMITTING that her dad was PUSHING for her to go USC. TMZ spotted the post, which is still up on Truly’s IG for some reason:

This is a textbook example of why minding your business is a thing that more folks should do for their own health and well-being.

If Dre had QUIETLY and PRIVATELY celebrated his daughter’s admission to USC, none of this attention would be on his family right now in what should be a very joyful moment.

But because Dre wanted to use his success as an opportunity to step on people he thought were beneath him, the internet quickly opened his files and read him his rights.

Kehlani has officially entered a new chapter in her life as a mother.

The 23-year-old singer and her partner, guitarist Javie Young-White, welcomed their first child together, a daughter they named Adeya Nomi, over the weekend.

Kehlani announced the happy news on Instagram Monday evening (Mar. 25) alongside a photo of what appears to be a baby blanket.

“This weekend our angel arrived healthy & perfect in every way in our bathroom at home,” she wrote. “Unmedicated homebirth was the absolute hardest yet most powerful thing I’ve ever done. thankful beyond words. in love beyond comparison.”

She added that she wouldn’t be posting on social media for a little while she recuperates and spends time with her family. She continued: “We just wanted to say thank you to everyone who sent well wishes, love, and support in all forms while waiting & working to bring Adeya earthside.”

Kehlani’s boyfriend, who, like Kehlani, is bisexual, also shared the news of his daughter’s arrival on social media.

“Adeya is home,” Javie wrote on Twitter Monday. “Kehlani gave birth at home standing up, unmedicated, into my arms as we spoke her 1st words to her. The most beautiful moment of my life … These two are my reason & resolve. We are enjoying each other & our health, resting & surrendering to love. My heart is full.”

Kehlani first announced her pregnancy last October in a since-deleted Instagram post showing off her baby bump.

In a lengthy message, she talked about having an “amazing partner” whom she trusts her body and her life with. She called who we now know is Javie Young-White her “best friend and lover.”

Kehlani wrote to her daughter: “Dearest little girl, I am so proud to be your mommy. I am so proud to have received you. I cannot wait to meet you, I know you will be 50,000 times more special than I can even imagine at this moment. I am happy to document this journey and feel the freedom any pregnant person should.”

Keri Hilson Eyes Music Comeback: “The Wait is Over … Summer 2019”

Keri Hilson is gearing up for a major comeback. It’s been 8 years since the singer-songwriter has released an album, and she plans on changing that real soon.

Sunday (Mar. 24) was the 10th anniversary of the release of Keri’s debut album In A Perfect World, and she marked the occasion by announcing that she will be returning to music this summer.

Internet reports have been running rampant that Williams’ husband Kevin Hunter was having a baby with another woman. And now it’s being reported that Hunter’s mistress, Sharina Hudson, has given birth to a baby girl.

Last December, LoveBScott.com broke the news that Hunter had gotten Hudson pregnant, which is said to have triggered Wendy’s alleged drug relapse before eventually landing her in rehab and forcing her to take a several-weeks-long break from her popular daytime talk show while various celebrity guest hosts filled in for her.

According to YouTube vlogger Tasha K … Kevin and Sharina’s love child was born on Wednesday (Mar. 22), and the couple is said to have pulled all the stops to make sure this “confidential information” didn’t leak to the media … which obviously didn’t work because here we are reporting on it.

Tasha K says Sharina and Kevin paid cash for the hospital visit. On top of that, Kevin allegedly used a different name on medical records, and he’s also allegedly not listed on the baby’s birth certificate.

Despite the mounting reports about Kevin and Sharina’s extramarital affair, Wendy continues to refute the rumors, and insists her marriage is just fine.

The day she returned to her show (Mon, Mar. 4), Wendy totally downplayed the whole thing, despite the reports about Kevin getting Sharina pregnant, not to mention the photos of the two of them and out and about.

“I want to shout out to my husband. I’m still wearing my ring,” Williams said as the audience applauded.

“Believe me you, when you’ve been with somebody for 28 years…married for 25 years…we know each other. He’s my best friend, he’s my lover, he’s all this and he’s all that. I know what you’ve been seeing and I know what the streets have been talking about,” she said.

She added: “Anybody who’s been married for 5 minutes or 500 years, you know marriages have ebbs and flows. Marriages are not easy. Don’t ask me about mine until you see this [ring] gone and it ain’t going anywhere — not in this lifetime.”

Last Tuesday (Mar. 19) on her show, she revealed that she was treating an undisclosed addiction issue by living in a sober house.

“After I go to the Pilates I go to several meetings all around town in the tri-state area, and I see my brothers and sisters caught up in their addiction and looking for help,” she said. “They don’t know I’m Wendy. They don’t care I’m Wendy. There’s no autographs, there’s no nothing. It’s the brothers and sisters caught up in the struggle. It’s been really interesting, this ride.”

She said that the only people who knew she was seeking treatment were her husband, Kevin Hunter, and son, Kevin Jr. “Only Kevin and Kevin know about this. And that is my truth,” she said.

“Not my parents, nobody. Nobody knew because I look so glamorous out here. After I finish my appointments … I am driven by my 24-hour sober coach back to a home that I live in the tri-state with a bunch of smelly boys who have become my family … We talk and read and talk and read and then I get bored with them. Doors locked by 10 p.m., lights out by 10 p.m., so I go to my room and stare at the ceiling and fall asleep to come here and see you. So that is my truth.”

Just days ago, The Daily Mail published photos showing Wendy’s husband as he continues to live a double life alongside his much younger massage therapist mistress.

According to the UK newspaper, Hunter’s mistress wants him to leave Wendy, and she’s given him several ultimatums, but he told her can’t leave his multi-millionaire wife because she’s financing his luxury lifestyle.

“Kevin is in love with Sharina but he can’t leave his wife because he and Sharina can’t take care of themselves – they need her money,” a source told DailyMailTV.

Joycelyn Savage’s Family Afraid R. Kelly Will Run Away With Her to Dubai If Judge Lets Him Travel

R. Kelly recently asked a judge to grant him permission to travel to the Middle East, but the family of one of his girlfriends fears the singer plans to flee the country and never come back.

According to the Blast, Joycelyn Savage’s family believes that Kelly wants to take Joycelyn and his other alleged sex slave/live-in girlfriend, Azriel Clary, out of the United States to a “safe haven” in Dubai where the troubled singer would be free of criminal charges and could escape prosecution.

The Savages are reportedly worried that Kelly will take advantage of the fact that that there is currently no extradition treaty between the United States and the United Arab Emirates … even though there are thousands of American troops in the U.A.E. and Dubai’s Jebel Ali port is a major port of call for the U.S. Navy.

Kelly’s attorney claimed in court docs that the U.A.E. wouldn’t “jeopardize that relationship to harbor R. Kelly,” but the Savage family believes that if Kelly is given permission to travel, it will erase all hopes of them ever getting Joycelyn to come back home.

TMZ reported that Kelly was trying to arrange a meeting between Joycelyn and her parents, but plans fell apart because both sides couldn’t agree on a location.

Kelly’s rep, Darrell Johnson, said Joycelyn wants to see her mom and dad, but only in Chicago, and the Savages want to meet at Joycelyn’s grandmother’s house (which is outside of Chicago) because she’s battling cancer.

Kelly’s team and the Savages went back and forth for two weeks before Kelly and co. eventually decided to call the whole thing off.

After Kelly’s court hearing Friday (Mar. 22), a reporter asked Kelly’s publicist why a meeting hadn’t already been arranged between the women and their families, and he got very snippy and totally dodged the question.

Joycelyn Savage’s parents have said that whenever they get the chance to see her in person, they plan to bring along a psychologist to give her a mental evaluation.

Meek Mill Says He Uses An App Called “goPuff” to Get Plan B Pills Delivered Straight to His House

Meek Mill just put a lot of people up on game via social media when it comes to obtaining Plan B pills hassle-free.

Any sexually active adult should know about the various forms of contraception, whether you’re preventing the spread of STDs or making sure you’re not creating a whole human being.

We all know about condoms, birth control and Plan B pills (for those random “oops!” moments). But what you probably didn’t know is that there’s a service out there that will deliver all of these things (and more) to you for a VERY low fee.

Ladies and gentlemen, meet “GoPuff.” Think: UberEats, Postmates, GrubHub, etc … but this isn’t for food.

According to their website, GoPuff stocks thousands of products in centralized warehouse facilities (similar to how Amazon works) and, using your smartphone, you can browse their catalog and order things to be sent straight to your house, all for a flat low fee of $1.95 per order.

As for what you can order, their products include basically anything you would find at a 24-hour drug or convenience store.

Meek Mill says he uses the service to score Plan B pills without having to make a mad dash to the drug store and awkwardly requesting emergency contraception.

“You can get a plan b from @gopuff delivery straight to ya house!” the rapper tweeted. “They deliver hookah full set up too! This my shiddddddd.”

Meek went on to explain why the service is especially useful for a high profile person such as himself.

“I had to go in the store and ask for a plan b one day,” he said. “Every worker knew me … @gopuff is key!”

GoPuff states on their website:

“We deliver snacks, drinks, essentials, and basically all of your convenience needs right to your door. We store 3,000+ products in your city’s centrally located goPuff facility, so when you order, your stuff comes straight from us to you. We don’t charge crazy surge pricing because we’re not a courier service, and because we’re delivering direct instead of picking it up from the store, we deliver fast.”

For what it’s worth, Meek’s tweets read like an advertisement, but he doesn’t have any hashtags in his tweets to indicate the posts were sponsored. (FYI: Celebrities and social media influencers are required by law to let their followers know whether or not post are sponsored by brands.)

Regardless … GoPuff sounds like a pretty convenient service! And the best part about it is its EXTREMELY low price of $1.95 per delivery.

Meek didn’t mention it, and their website doesn’t explicitly state it, but you can also probably use GoPuff to get condoms too.

Basically, anything you can find in a 24-hour convenience store can be quickly sent to your doorstep simply by using an app and paying a small delivery fee.

The service is only available in about 60 U.S. cities—including Atlanta, Charlotte, Denver, Orlando, Philadelphia (Meek’s hometown), Phoenix, Raleigh, Seattle, Washington, D.C. and more—but the folks behind the company say they’re always expanding into new markets.

So, if this thing catches on like all of the other delivery and transportation services, you should expect GoPuff to be available in your city soon.

Mom Sues Spirit Airlines for Leaving Her Daughter Behind at the Airport

Imagine you’re a parent on an airplane, and mid-flight, you realize that your child, who was supposed to have boarded the plane with you, is nowhere to be found … and it turns out they were left behind at the airport, unbeknownst to you and your family.

That’s exactly what happened to one woman from Michigan who decided to gamble with her family’s lives and fly via Spirit Airlines, and now she’s suing the company for $75,000, citing emotional distress.

Detroit’s WXYZ-TV reports:

The alleged incident happened in April 2018 when the family was returning from Ft. Lauderdale and had to switch planes in Tampa.

Stacy Giordano had a seat with her son in the back of the plane, and her daughter was reportedly assigned to a seat in the front of the aircraft. That’s when Giordano’s attorney Jerry Thurswell claims Giordano’s daughter was suddenly removed from the plane to make room for another passenger due to overbooking.

“They didn’t want to hear anything. They just pulled her off the plane,” Thurswell said.

Thurswell said the teenager attempted to reach her mother by phone, but was unable to do so because of the airline’s mandatory “airplane mode” policy on cell phones. Giordano’s phone was not receiving messages.

The girl was put on another flight back to Detroit hours later. Giordano didn’t realize her daughter was gone until mid-flight.

“You don’t just separate a child from their mother,” Thurswell said.

“The safety and security of our Guests is our top priority,” Spirit Airlines said in a statement.

Thurswell said the airline refunded Giordano a ticket and offered her extra flight miles.

The family is suing for more than $75,000 in damages.

I’m honestly not surprised this happened on a Spirit Airlines flight because based on the horror stories I’ve heard from my own family and friends who’ve risked their lives flying Spirit, their company policy seems to be “We’re responsible for getting you from Point A to Point B alive … and dassit.”

One friend told me the plane felt like it would literally drop out of the sky at any moment. And my sister, years later on a totally different flight, said she feared for her life the whole trip and damn near kissed the ground when she finally landed.

On top of that … have you seen the memes?!

Even Spirit’s flight attendants know they’re trash.

Their low prices may look good at first glance, but once you’ve put your life in their hands, there’s no turning back.

Mugshot Madness: Marc Gomez, Man in Viral Video Kicking & Punching Elderly Woman on Subway Train, Arrested

The man who was seen in a viral video repeatedly punching and kicking an elderly woman on a subway train in the Bronx borough of New York City has been arrested.

The horrific incident reportedly took place two weeks ago, on Sunday, March 10th around 3:10 a.m. at the Nereid Ave. Station in the Bronx on a northbound 2 train, and it was all caught on video that surfaced on social media, where it quickly went viral.

Witnesses stood by without intervening, and instead pulled out their smartphones to record as the helpless 78-year-old victim was brutally attacked by the man, later identified as 36-year-old Marc Gomez.

Gomez has since been arrested and charged with multiple counts of assault.

NYPD Chief Dermot F. Shea shared a photo of the assailant on Twitter, announcing that the suspect had been apprehended and was in police custody. He added that the victim was treated in a hospital for her injuries and has since been released and is “getting the care, advocacy and support needed.”

“Thank you to the worldwide community for the tremendous assistance,” Chief Shea said.

Gomez’s arrest comes just one day after NYPD posted a short clip of the incident showing the man’s face asking for the public to help identify him.

The shocking video, which had already gone viral on social media and was seen by millions, shows Gomez hitting the woman multiple times as she tries to protect her face. Gomez can be heard saying “Who the f**k was you talking to?” as he finishes his brutal assault.

A female passenger is heard saying “excuse me” to Gomez, but he ignores her and exits the train.

Police said he got off at the 238th St./Nereid Ave. stop and fled on foot, while the woman he assaulted was left in her seat on the train holding her head in her hands.

Before Gomez left the train though, he let everyone know he was fully aware that he was being recorded by saying “Worldstar that my ni**a,” referring to the popular website WorldStarHipHop.com, which is known for its shock content and fight videos.

Police said they weren’t notified about the incident until a bystander reported it when the train arrived at the next and final stop, at the Wakefield-241st Street station.

Officials said the 78-year-old woman rode the train to one more northbound stop and was met with first responders as soon as she stepped off the train. She was taken to the hospital and treated for her injuries. She reportedly suffered bleeding and swelling with cuts to the face.

Gomez was arrested Saturday morning (Mar. 23) after a tipster who’d seen the viral footage online recognized him and gave police the info. they needed to nab him.

He was charged with felony second-degree assault, misdemeanor third-degree assault, and harassment assault. After prosecutors discovered Gomez had a misdemeanor conviction and open gun possession charge in the Bronx on his criminal record, a judge set his bail at $30,000.

Law enforcement sources told the New York Post that last November, Gomez was caught in possession of a 12-gauge shotgun and ammo after he was stopped by police on the Cross Bronx Expressway. He’d been free without bail in that case.

Police also said Gomez’s criminal record has old, sealed arrests for assault, gun possession and marijuana possession.

Gomez’s court-appointed lawyer spoke on his behalf at his hearing Saturday, saying that Gomez didn’t kick the woman and accusing her of threatening him with a knife.

“She was homeless and lying across the seat and wanted all other passengers to move,” said attorney Steven Mechanic. “She said, at that point, ‘I have a knife and I’m going to stab you,'” and flashed “a sharp instrument,” Mechanic added.

The victim’s former neighbors in the Bronx told the Post that she is a childless, retired kindergarten teacher who moved out three or four years ago.

Neighbors also told the Post that the elderly woman suffered from a mental illness and had threatened residents with a knife in the past.

R. Kelly Says Lisa Van Allen is a Lying Opportunist: I NEVER Had Sex With Aaliyah’s Mom

R. Kelly says that Lisa Van Allen is a liar who is desperate for attention and is out to smear his name in any way possible … even if that means making up a story about him having sex with Aaliyah’s mom.

Lisa Van Allen, one of the many women who accused Kelly of abusing her in the Lifetime docu-series Surviving R. Kelly, said in an interview with VladTV that Kelly told her that he and Aaliyah’s mother, Diane Haughton, had a sexual relationship while he was also having sex with Aaliyah.

Van Allen claimed that Kelly stayed at Aaliyah’s home in Detroit in the 1990’s, and when she was asleep, he would go in the living room, and he and her mom “would do sexual acts on the couch.”

But sources close to the singer-songwriter say that’s all lies.

Sources close to R. Kelly say he absolutely denies he and Diane had anything but a friendly relationship. We’re told Kelly believes the only reason Van Allen made those claims in the Vlad TV interview is to further smear his name and grab headlines for herself.

Lisa also said that Kelly falsified marriage documents to show that Aaliyah was 18, instead of her actual age, which was 15.

She said the only reason Kelly and Aaliyah got married was because “they felt like if he was married to her and if he said he thought she was 18, that he wouldn’t be charged if someone found out she was pregnant until they were able to get the abortion and get [the marriage] annulled.”

Lisa was adamant that all of this came straight from Kelly’s mouth too. “I could take a lie detector test to this, this is what he told me,” she said.

Meanwhile, Kelly’s attorney, Steve Greenberg, claims that it was Aaliyah who lied about her age when she and Kelly tied the knot.

Kelly is currently out on bail (thanks to a friend who posted his $100K bond) after he was hit with a 10-count indictment on sexual abuse charges allegedly involving minors.

He was also on the hook for $160K in child support to his ex-wife, but thanks to the help of yet another “friend,” that issue was taken care of as well.

Kelly returned to the Cook County Courthouse in Chicago Friday (Mar. 22) and his lawyer filed a motion to request he be given permission to leave the country to perform in Dubai next month.

Greenberg also formally asked for a copy of the sex tapes attorney Michael Avenatti said he gave to law enforcement, but the judge hasn’t responded that request yet.

Greenberg has also asked the judge to protect the sex tapes from public viewing … which is strange, because Kelly’s legal team has been so adamant that Kelly is not the man in the footage, and if that’s the case, why would they not want the public to see that?

Anyway, we have to ask…

14-Year-Old & 12-Year-Old Sisters Accused of Killing Their Own Mother Say They’re Innocent

Two Mississippi girls who were arrested in connection with the murder of their mother say they are completely innocent.

32-year-old Ericka Hall was found dead outside her Magnolia, Missippi home in the early morning hours of Saturday, January 5th, 2019 after being shot and stabbed multiple times.

Hall’s two daughters—14-year-old Amariyona Hall and her 12-year-old sister, whose name has been withheld due to youth court laws—were taken into police custody and accused of their mother’s murder.

Amariyona was released from jail last weekend after $10,000 bail was posted, and her sister was released from the Pike County Juvenile Detention Center as well.

The Hall sisters spoke to reporters earlier this week and deny having anything to do with their mother’s tragic death.

According to WBALTV:

When a reporter asked Amariyona Hall if she could take back what happened, she said yes.

Despite admitting to that, Amariyona Hall and her sister said they are not responsible for the death of their mother and that they were at an aunt’s home when it occurred.

Amariyona Hall also told reporters there was abuse taking place in the home where she and her sister lived. However, the Pike County Sheriff’s Department said it never received any reports of abuse.

Their father, Eddie Isaac, said he is still trying to get to the bottom of what happened the day Erika Hall died.

“It feels good to have them out. A lot of people don’t think they should be, but they are kids. It was a lot. We didn’t come to the bottom of it. There was a lot of stuff we didn’t know. But it’s coming out,” he said.

Children 13 and older accused of certain crimes are automatically charged as adults in Mississippi. Judges can transfer cases to youth court. District Attorney Dee Bates has said he would oppose a transfer.

Amariyona Hall’s attorney has said the defense will be based on a self-defense theory.

“I can tell you that I anticipate my client and her sister are both going to be defended on a theory of self-defense,” lawyer Greg Malta said previously.

Ebony Hall, Ericka Hall’s sister, said one of the girls tried to run over their mother in a car several nights before she was killed.

Pike County Sheriff’s Chief Investigator Chris Bell has testified that the girls confessed to planning the killing in advance, faking a knock at the front door to lure Ericka Hall from her bedroom.

The night of Ericka Hall’s murder, Amariyona Hall and her sister allegedly asked their neighbor for a ride as their mom lay wounded across the street.

Jeremy Lenoir told The Enterprise-Journal that his mom thought it was odd that Hall’s car lights were on at the time, and she tried calling out to the woman, but received no response, so she contacted Hall’s relatives.

“We rushed down the street to her daddy and her sister’s house, and when they came and drove down here, we found her on the other side of the car laid out,” Lenoir said.

Hall had a knife in her back, Lenoir said, and she looked like she had been struggling with her killer (or killers) before her death.

“When I went over there, she was laying on her back with both of her fists balled up, eyes open, so you could tell she was trying to fight them back,” Lenoir said. “That was a terrible sight. That messed me up, and to think that her kids did that.”

Lenoir said the girls were acting calm, but something seemed off about them.

“They seemed weird,” he said. “The girls, they came over here straight-faced, like nothing had ever happened.”

Ericka Hall, a single mother who worked nights at a chicken processing plant, also had 1-year-old and 16-year-old daughters.

Whenever someone famous deals with a tragic loss of a family member, conspiracy theorists immediately point to the ridiculous notion that all celebrities are a part of a secret cult called the “Illuminati” and in order to achieve fame, you must “sacrifice” someone close to you.

But Megan wants everyone to know that her mother died from a cancerous brain tumor … not an “Illuminati sacrifice.”

“People on the internet be sick AF,” she wrote on her Instagram stories Saturday (Mar. 23), “My mother had a brain tumor that was cancerous for a while now.” She added: “Not that I owe strangers an explanation.”

Megan didn’t mentor the “Illuminati” rumors outright, but it’s clear she was referring to them, hence the mention that “people on the internet” are “sick AF.”

Losing a parent is already bad enough, but having to deal with it in front of the world probably makes things a lot worse.

We suggest Megan take some time away from social media and mourn her mother in private, because she’s right … people on the internet ARE sick as fuck.
