Lauren London Honors Nipsey Hussle With a Tattoo: “When You See Me, You Will Always See Him”

Lauren London is still grieving the loss of the love of her life, Nipsey Hussle, but she’s honoring him in a way to make sure that he is always with her.

Shortly after giving an emotional and touching speech at Hussle’s “Celebration of Life” memorial service, London unveiled a new forearm tattoo of late boyfriend’s face.

“Real love never dies,” she captioned the post. “When you see me, you will always see him.”

London’s tattoo also includes a phrase that was featured on one of Hussle’s own tattoos: “God will rise.”

Nipsey Hussle, a Grammy-nominated artist, community activist, and philanthropist, was shot outside of his LA clothing store on March 31st. He and London had been dating since 2013 and share a 2-year-old son, Kross.

21,000 people gathered at the Staples Center on Thursday (Apr. 11) to celebrate Hussle’s life.

“I’ve never felt this type of pain before, but I know God is alive,” an emotional London told those also grieving. “My pain is for my 2-year-old son, who probably won’t remember how much his dad loved him.”

“My heart hears you,” she continued. “I feel you everywhere. I love you beyond this earth, and until we meet again, the marathon continues.”

London is not the only person to pay tribute to Hussle with a tattoo.

NBA player J.R. Smith and close friend The Game both got fresh tattoos to honor Hussle after his passing.

If you’re looking for a visual representation of Nipsey Hussle’s impact, look no further than this awe-inspiring video showing thousands of the rapper’s fans and supporters gathered around the silver hearse carrying Nipsey’s casket as it arrived the rapper’s The Marathon clothing store in Crenshaw.

Nipsey was laid to rest Thursday (Apr. 11) after an emotional public memorial service at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles, where his family members and closest friends—including girlfriend Lauren London, his business partner Karen Civil, rapper Snoop Dogg, music legend Stevie Wonder, and many others—paid tribute and celebrated his life.

Hussle (born: Ermias Asghedom) was described as a person who cared about his community and made it his mission to make the world a better place for everyone.

Following the service, which was live streamed online and also aired on television via BET and local L.A. TV networks, Nipsey was taken on a 25-mile journey throughout Los Angeles for a final “victory lap” as thousands of people lined the streets to say goodbye to a neighborhood hero and legend.

Along the route, fans reached out to touch the silver hearse carrying the late rapper’s body, while others snapped photos and captured video footage of the occasion.

When Nipsey’s hearse arrived at The Marathon clothing store, where he was fatally shot on March 31st, a massive crowd assembled outside the store and spilled out onto the street.

In addition to his girlfriend of six years, Lauren London, and his two children, daughter Emani and son Kross, Nipsey is survived by his mother and father, Angelique Smith and Dawit Asghedom, his brother, Samiel “Blacc Sam” Asghedom, and his sister, Samantha Smith.

Nipsey Hussle’s Brother Blacc Sam Tells Story at Memorial of Nipsey Building Computer From Scratch (VIDEO)

Nipsey’s Hussle’s public memorial service was filled with many anecdotal moments from the rapper’s closest friends and family members, but perhaps the most interesting stories came from someone who’d known Nipsey since birth—his older brother Samiel Asghedom.

Samiel aka “Blacc Sam” was one of the many speakers who took to the stage during Nipsey’s funeral at the Staples Center and did his best to hold back tears as she spoke about his little brother.

Of the many stories Sam shared, one of the most interesting was about the moment he realized Ermias (Nip’s birth name) was a gifted individual when he built a whole computer from scratch.

Sam explained that a then 12-year-old Nipsey started “coming home from school with a backpack full of computer parts” and storing them in the bedroom they shared.

At first, Sam said he didn’t think Nip could do it, but he admitted that he was “amazed, really was mind-boggled” once Nipsey completed the task and the computer actually worked.

“I was proud of him, mom, everybody couldn’t believe it…he was able to do something like this,” Sam said, adding that Nipsey later used that same computer to download software to record music.

Sam went on to share the story about how they bought the abandoned parking lot at Slauson and Crenshaw that Nipsey used to sell CDs in after officials threatened to kick them out. That location later became the home for their Marathon clothing store.

Quoting a lyric from Nipsey’s song “I Don’t Stress,” Sam said Nipsey embodied his music wholeheartedly.

“I swear to God, everything he said in the music is who he was… I hope he knows were all proud of him. Well know the music: ‘If I die today I know the set proud ni**a.’ And that’s how Nip thought, he loved everybody and just wanted to inspire and bring something back… It wasn’t about handouts and giving… Nip was about demonstrating, and coming back.

“He appreciated, whether he said it or not, the pats on the back. That sh*t meant a lot to him… You made the world proud… The whole family appreciates everything. That was my little bro man… I hope he knew I loved him and I was proud of him.”

Asghedom also talked about being knocked out cold in a fight with neighborhood bullies, and he woke up to see his little brother fighting with the guys who knocked him out. “Bro held it down while I was out, for sure,” he said, laughing.

Blacc Sam also said the two used to talk about leaving a legacy, and people would say that once Nipsey made it, he would abandon the neighborhood he grew up in, which he didn’t.

“We don’t know if we’re going to go at 80, 60, 30. Or 20,” he said. “The one thing is that when you go, you go the right way. You stand up for what you believe in. You put your money where your mouth is. And you never fold. Never let the pressure sway you from doing what you want to do. Never let the politics stop you from coming around and staying around. And I hope everyone knows that’s what bro did. Bro stayed and he died on Crenshaw and Slauson.”

50 Cent Trolls Wendy Williams Hours After Announcing Her Divorce: “WTF Kinda Crack Make You Look Like This”

While even the harshest Wendy Williams critics have shown the outspoken host some love and support in recent weeks, 50 Cent is not one of them.

Just hours after learning the host had filed for divorce from her husband, Fif wasted no time trolling her on social media. He posted an unflattering pic of Williams with her eyes bulging out.

“What the f*ck kinda Crack make you look like this,” Fitty wrote, and clear reference to Williams past addiction to cocaine and her recent stent in a sober living house.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BwJ0kFJHLtj/

Fif then shared a Daily Mail TV clip that detailed Williams’ marital woes in-depth. The report claimed that Williams’ husband told his alleged lover that he couldn’t leave his wife due to financial reasons.

“So when she look like ET, she gotta pay all the bills,” 50 wrote on Instagram.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BwJ3QAunFjf/

The beef between and 50 Cent and Williams has been well-documented for several years.

Among many things, Williams has questioned the rapper’s sexual orientation and dragged him on her show for not wanting to pay child support.

In retaliation, Fitty often makes fun of Williams’ looks, drug use, and marital issues.

Fifty clearly has a lot of time on his hands because Williams isn’t his only target.

Just yesterday, he trolled singer Teairra Mari by trademarking the catchphrase she’s been using against him—”I Ain’t Got It”—and unveiling his own line of merchandise.

One Person Killed, Three Injured in Drive-By Shooting During Nipsey Hussle’s Funeral Procession

One person was killed and three others were injured in a drive-by shooting on the route of Nipsey Hussle’s funeral procession Thursday (Apr. 11).

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the shooting took place on 103rd St. and Main St. around 6:25 p.m.

Police said three black men and a black woman between the ages of 30 and 50 were shot by several suspects riding in a gray Hyundai. Officials didn’t say which of the four shooting victims died.

The shooting happened as thousands of fans lined the streets of South L.A. to honor the life of Nipsey Hussle, who was tragically gunned down outside his The Marathon clothing store in Crenshaw on March 31st.

LAPD Chief Michel Moore addressed Thursday’s shooting, saying in a tweet: “We must stop this senseless violence.”

Earlier in the day, a public memorial service was held for Nipsey at the Staples Center, and a number of the rapper’s celebrity friends and close family members paid tribute to the rapper with speeches and performances.

Kevin Hunter Already Taking the Gloves Off & Demands $10 Million in Wendy Williams Divorce (Report)

It’s day one of Hunter v. Hunter divorce proceedings and it’s already starting to get ugly.

Kevin Hunter was reportedly waiting backstage at The Wendy Williams Show on Thursday morning (Apr. 11) when he was unexpectedly served with divorce papers.

Sources say Hunter is now demanding a $10 million payoff from Wendy Williams and is willing to play dirty, if necessary, to get it.

“Kevin won’t go quietly,” a source exclusively tells Radar Online. “He’s seen Wendy at rock-bottom and knows all of her deepest, darkest, dirtiest secrets!”

According to a recent report by Money Inc., Williams has amassed an estimated net worth of $60 million throughout her broadcast career. The report states Williams currently earns $15 million a year from her daily talk show alone.

The ex-couple’s marriage has been plagued by rumors and speculation in recent months, with Hunter taking most of the hits for his alleged infidelity and abusive behavior.

Radar’s source says Kevin will use the divorce to expose Williams’ dirty deeds if the proceedings aren’t in his favor.

“Kevin has so much on her, there will certainly be no Wendy Williams Show by the time he’s finished! He feels a few million for him to sign an NDA and start fresh is a bargain. It’s either that — or certain ruin for Wendy!”

We may also learn if Hunter, in fact, had a child outside of his marriage with rumored longtime mistress Sharina Hudson.

Radar is reporting that Williams demanded Hunter take a paternity test and threatened divorce if he didn’t. (I’m assuming he didn’t take the test.)

Williams doesn’t seem to be expecting a contentious divorce, either.

According to the documents she filed, the host is requesting the court to “equitably” divide their assets and property and to establish an appropriate amount of child support for their 18-year-old son.

A rep for Williams stated that “Kevin is supportive” of his soon-to-be ex-wife and that the couple is “working through this process together.”

50 Cent Trademarks Teairra Mari’s Catchphrase & Releases His Own Line of “I Ain’t Got It” Merchandise

We told you to stay to tuned to see how 50 Cent responds to Teairra Mair’s diss record she dropped last week, “I Ain’t Got It.” Well, Fitty announced his revenge plot and he may have gotten the last laugh … while driving to the bank.

Being the petty, but clever, troll that he is, 50 Cent took to Instagram to unveil his new line of swag using Mari’s own “I Ain’t Got It” catchphrase. The line features a T-shirt, tote bag, and a phone case.

“Somebody forgot to trademark this,” he wrote, referring to the phrase. “I’ll just take it.”

50 Cent also bought the domain name, Iaintgotit.com, which Mari clearly forgot to do. The domain immediately redirects to the G-Unit store where the “She Ain’t Got It” t-shirt can be purchased.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BwIYkPKnMO6/

Teairra Mari debuted her own line of “I Ain’t Got It” merch earlier this week, featuring t-shirts and phone cases.

Unfortunately for her bag, her nemesis took the extra step in getting the phrase trademarked.

50 could legally stop Mari from profiting off of her own material. Oh, the savagery!

The monetary beef between the two began earlier this year after a judge ordered Mari to pay $30,000 worth of 50 Cent’s legal fees in her revenge porn case. Mari sued the rapper for reposting images from her leaked sex tape last year. A judged dismissed 50 Cent from the case in January.

50 Cent wants his money, but Mari has repeatedly claimed that she doesn’t have it, prompting her to drop the diss track.

Lauren London Gives Emotional Speech at Nipsey Hussle’s Funeral: “You’ve Been My Turn Up, and My Church…”

Lauren London gave an emotional and moving speech as she memorialized the love of her life at Nipsey Hussle’s public funeral service.

Wearing sunglasses and a white suit, Lauren took the podium and told the audience as she held back tears: “Never was I prepared for something like this so bear with me, y’all.”

She said she had never felt so much pain before and called Hussle’s soul “majestic.”

Nipsey was “brilliant … a divine light … completely self-taught … constantly seeking knowledge,” London said.

“My pain is for my 2-year-old who probably won’t remember how much his dad loved him,” Lauren said, adding that Ermias (Nipsey’s birth name) used to tell her you don’t get to possess people, but experience them, a statement she seemed to find some comfort in, but London was clearly heartbroken beyond words as she paid tribute to the man she’s loved for the past six years.

London also read aloud a text message she wrote to Nipsey in January 2019 as she watched him sleeping one morning.

“Ermias was asleep one morning, and I was watching him. I used to watch him sleep. I wrote him a text when he was sleeping so when he woke up he would read it,” she said.

The text read, in part: “I want you to know I feel real joy in my heart when I’m around you, I feel safe when I am around you, protected… I am totally myself when I am around you… I don’t wear my cool mask anymore. You’ve made me into more of a woman. Been with me when I am sick, through all my fears … inspired me to reach higher. You’ve been my turn up and my church. I wouldn’t want to go through this journey with anyone but you.”

She continued: “When we are at odds, I feel defeated and sad. You’ve been the greatest boyfriend to me. You aren’t perfect… you and I work. We fit, and you’re the coolest guy in the world to me… I love you … unconditionally. I’m never going to give up on you.”

London told the audience of more than 20,000 mourners that the grief over Nipsey’s death was not just hers, but also the community’s.

“We won’t ever be the same,” she said before reminding people of a line that Hussle used to say: “The game is going to test you. Never fold. Stay ten toes down. It’s not on you. It’s in you, and what’s in you, they can’t take away. And he’s in all of us.”

Lauren London concluded her eulogy with this: “And to Ermias, the love of my life … You know what it is. Grief is the final act of love. My heart hears you. I feel you everywhere. I’m so grateful that I had you. I love you beyond this earth. And until we meet again … the marathon continues.”

At one point during the service, Hussle’s kids, Emani and Kross, were brought on stage as well.

London’s son Kameron, whom she shares with rapper Lil Wayne, talked about a dream he had about “Ermias” and asked the crowd to say “Respect” on his count of three.

When it came time for Hussle’s daughter to speak, she was too nervous and upset. Instead, the mic was given to Kross, Hussle’s 2-year-old son he shared with London, who babbled a few baby words and received a lot of laughs from the crowd.

A letter from former President Barack Obama was also read out loud at the memorial service.

The letter read, in part: “I’ve never met Nipsey but I’ve heard his music through my daughters, and after his passing … While most folks look at the Crenshaw neighborhood where he grew up and see only gangs, bullets and despair, Nipsey saw potential. He saw hope… I hope his memory inspires more good work in Crenshaw and communities like it.”

Nipsey Hussle’s children, daughter Emani and son Kross, appeared on stage at the slain rapper’s memorial service at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Thursday (Apr. 11).

Hussle’s two kids were joined by the rapper’s longtime girlfriend (and Kross’ mom) Lauren London, London’s son, Kameron Carter, Hussle’s nephew, Khalil Kimble, and Hussle’s sister, Samantha Smith, as they paid tribute to the late rapper.

Kameron, London’s 9-year-old son with rapper Lil Wayne, gave an especially touching tribute to his stepdad.

“On the night of April 2, I had a dream that I was in paradise, and I was playing in the ocean water when Ermias popped up right behind me,” Kameron said of Hussle, whose real name was Ermias Asghedom.

“He said, ‘What up, Killa?’ cause that’s my nickname to him. I turned around and I yelled his name and I gave him a hug. Shortly, he was gone but it was still cool, I guess.”

Kameron added: “I told my mom about the dream and after I told her, I was thinking about it. And I realized that Ermias told me what heaven was like. He told me it was paradise.”

Kameron then led the crowd to all say “Respect” out loud because Nipsey would say the word to him in the mornings.

After his big brother shared his touching tribute, Nipsey and Lauren’s 2-year-old son Kross adorably took the mic and babbled into it as the crowd erupted with cheers.

Though Hussle’s daughter, Emani Asghedom, didn’t share any words at her father’s funeral, she did write a poem for Nipsey that was included in his obituary.

Lauren spoke briefly, telling the crowd “Give the kids some love, they’re a little nervous,” which was met with applause.

Soulja Boy Arrested for Violating Probation, Held Without Bail Until Next Court Date

Soulja Boy will be spending the next couple of weeks in jail after a judge determined he violated his probation in more ways than one during a court appearance today.

TMZ reports:

Soulja walked into an L.A. courtroom Thursday for his hearing, but was taken into custody at the end. The judge said the rapper had failed to do his court-ordered community service … and even conspired to falsify evidence that he had completed it.

But, the big no-no came during a raid at Soulja’s San Fernando Valley home in February. TMZ broke the story … police went to his house to investigate a claim by one of his ex-girlfriends that Soulja had tied her up and held her captive in his garage.

According to the judge, cops found ammunition during the search … which is a problem because Soulja’s on probation for a weapons case that dates back to 2014.

Soulja was arrested back in March after going to see his probation officer, but was released that same day. As soon as he got out, he bragged he wasn’t going out like Tekashi69.

This time he’s being held without bail and will remain in custody until a hearing scheduled for April 30.

We’re told Soulja had a gig scheduled for tonight in Ohio, and Saturday night in Tennessee. If you’re holding a ticket for either of those shows … sorry, he ain’t gonna make it.

Damn, Soulja…

Wendy Williams’ Cheating Husband Speaks Out After Being Served Divorce Papers on the Set of Wendy’s Show

Kevin Hunter made his first public statement since receiving divorce papers filed by Wendy Williams.

Hunter exclusively spoke to Radar Online, but he seemed to be still processing the dissolution of his marriage.

“This just happened,” Hunter said. “Not speaking now.”

Williams officially filed for divorce in the New Jersey Superior Court on Wednesday (Apr. 10) after 21 years of marriage. The news of the separation broke today.

According to TMZ, Hunter was at The Wendy Williams Show studio when he was served. Via TMZ:

Sources on Wendy’s talk show tell us … Kevin was served with the divorce papers Thursday morning at the studio. We’re told extra security was on hand in case Kevin got enraged about the split, but he didn’t.

According to the court documents filed, Williams states that her marriage has been in “breakdown” for a “period of six months” and there is “no reasonable prospect of reconciliation.”

She’s also asking the court to “equitably” divide their assets/property and establish an appropriate amount of child support for their 18-year-old son.

Williams also released a statement through a personal representative. The statement reads:

“Thank you to everyone for respecting the family’s privacy during this time. Kevin is supportive of Wendy and they are working through this process together. No additional comment will be provided at this time.”

The state of Williams and Hunter’s marriage has dominated tabloids in recent months after rumors that Hunter’s alleged longtime mistress, Sharina Hudson gave birth to their first child last month.

It has yet to be confirmed if Hunter fathered a child outside of his marriage to Williams.

Wendy Williams Finally Kicked Her Cheating Husband to the Curb & Filed for Divorce

Wendy Williams finally did what we’ve all been telling her to do: She filed for divorce!

The talk show host is done with her (allegedly) cheating, (allegedly) abusive husband, Kevin Hunter.

Williams’ attorney confirmed the talk show host filed for divorce today (Apr. 11) after 21 years of marriage.

The Hunter marriage has been plagued with multiple rumors for several months culminating in reports that Hunter, 46, welcomed a child last month with his rumored longtime mistress, Sharina Hudson.

Williams, 54, slammed the reports following her abrupt two-month hiatus from The Wendy Williams Show. While flashing her ring, she defended her marriage.

“I’m still very much in love with my husband,” she said. “Don’t ask me about [my wedding ring]. It ain’t going anywhere. Not in this lifetime.”

Williams’ mysterious two-month absence from her talk show early this year was initially blamed on her Graves’ disease and an injured shoulder, but the length of the break sparked further speculation that something more serious was going on in the Hunter home.

Williams eventually admitted on-air that she was seeking treatment in a sober living facility to deal with past her addiction of cocaine, pills, and alcohol. She also has a 24-hour sober companion.

Many wondered if Hunter’s infidelity and abusive behavior triggered Williams’ addiction issues, and possibly caused her injured shoulder.

A former intern for Williams’ radio show recently told the New York Post about the disturbing behavior between the couple. Via Page Six:

“She would hide in the bathroom and tell me to knock on the door when he left the office so she wouldn’t have to see him,” an intern from Williams’ former radio show told The Post, adding that it was common for Hunter to pull Williams into a private room and for staff to hear them fighting.

“You’d hear slaps or some type of tussling going on,” said the intern.

Another source told The Post that Hunter is a “control freak” and “a terror.”

Hunter is an executive producer of The Wendy Williams Show and is a business partner with Williams in several projects, including their production company. As of now, it’s unclear how or if they will part ways professionally.

The former couple share an 18-year-old son, Kevin Hunter Jr.

Kodak Black to The Game: “You Was a Booty Shaker! 50 Cent Had to Get You off the Pole!”

Even though basically all of social media has explained to Kodak Black that he was way out of line for his comments about Lauren London shortly after Nipsey Hussle’s murder, the rapper is still popping off at the mouth over the criticism. His latest target: The Game.

Kodak hopped on Instagram Live and let it be known that he doesn’t care about what Game had to say because of his alleged stripper past.

“50 [Cent] grabbed that boy off the pole,” Kodak said before directly addressing Game.

“You was a booty shaker, you was a male stripper. 50 Cent had to come get you off the pole like what you talkin’ bout. Yo, leave me alone. Stop talking about me. If Lauren ain’t said nothing, y’all need to leave me alone.”

https://www.instagram.com/p/BwD8c11gX6l/?utm_source=ig_embed

Kodak was rightfully called out by social media and fellow rappers last week after stating that he would give London, Hussle’s girlfriend, a year of “crying and sh*t” before trying to shoot his shot.

“Lauren London that baby, though. She about to be out here single,” Kodak said. “She’s finna be a whole widow out here. I’ll be the best man I can be for her. I’ll give her a whole year. She might need a whole year to be crying and sh*t for him.”

Following the insensitive comment, Game took to his Instagram to advise Kodak to keep London’s name out of his mouth.

“This is to Kodak Black or anybody disrespecting my n***a’s legacy, his family… Keep my n***a name out your fucking mouth, n***a,” he said. “Keep his girl’s name out your fucking mouth, n***a.”

T.I. also publicly shared his thoughts on Kodak’s comments.

“Hey, Kodak Black: You outta pocket,” he said. “Fix that sh*t—quickly, expeditiously.”

Kodak’s response to Tip was “dude just wants first dibs on her.”

Given the immediate backlash, he made an extremely poor attempt at an apology to London.

“If I disrespected you, Lauren London, in any shape or form, I’m sorry, even though I didn’t”

Le sigh. The man —who is currently facing rape allegations—clearly just doesn’t get it.

Nipsey Hussle’s Mom Says He “Was More Beautiful in Death Than He Was in Life” (VIDEO)

Nipsey Hussle’s mother says she has “perfect peace” knowing that her son’s memory has “no bounds and no limits.”

Nipsey (born: Ermias Ashgedom) was shot and killed outside his The Marathon clothing store in the Crenshaw neighborhood of Los Angeles on March 31st.

In a nine-minute video shared on Facebook Tuesday (Apr. 9), days before the iconic west coast rapper is scheduled to be laid to rest, Nipsey’s mother, Angelique Smith, offered a few words of encouragement to his fans.

“I have strength, and I want to lift you up,” Smith said. “Because Nipsey is great. And now he’s even greater because he has no bounds and no limits. His energy is everywhere. He’s there with you now and he’s here with me now. And please be encouraged.”

Smith also said that “Ermias was more beautiful in death than he was in life,” and that he looked peaceful and like an angel after her passed away, which she attributed to the good life he lead.

“When you walk this earth and you do good deeds for people and you are loving and kind, those are the things that will show on your face—you will look more beautiful,” Smith said in the video.

Despite her son’s untimely killing, Smith also said that death is not something to be feared.

“When you live life and you have god on your side, when God dwells inside of you, you have no fear, she said. “Everything is in perfect order. Everything is in the divine perfect order of our creator. And we have perfect peace. I have perfect peace.”

“Death is just the beginning of a wonderful world,” she added. “And I tell myself, Ermias liked thrilling things. And now my son knows the mystery—the secret, rather, to the mystery of life.”

Nipsey Hussle was laid to rest Thursday (Apr. 11) following a public memorial service held at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.

Watch the live stream here:

More than 20,000 people attended the “Celebration of Life” services to pay their respects to the slain rapper. Hussle’s body arrived hours ahead of the service via a silver hearse.

Free tickets to Nipsey’s public memorial weren’t easy to come by, as they were gone within minutes after being made available to residents of California. TMZ reports that the service will be heavily guarded “with a mix of muscle from LAPD and Nation of Islam, as well as Staples Center personnel.”

More from TMZ:

The memorial program is full of notes of goodbye and memories from close friends and family. Lauren London shared a touching text she sent to Ermias — Nipsey’s real name — before his death. There are also letters written by James Harden, DJ Khaled, Kendrick Lamar, LeBron James, The Game, and tons of others.

We also got the Order of Service and it confirms many of Nipsey’s celeb friends will be heavily involved … including Anthony Hamilton, Marsha Ambrosius, Snoop Dogg, Jhene Aiko, YG, Stevie Wonder and Big Boy. Minister Louis Farrakhan will also speak during the ceremony.

After a short delay due to ticketing issues, the service starts just before 11 a.m. PT (2 p.m. ET) and lasted around 2 hours.

Following the service, a funeral procession carried Nipsey’s casket on a 25-mile journey through Los Angeles, stopping at a few notable landmarks, including his The Marathon clothing store in Crenshaw.

Throngs of fans and supporters flooded the streets as Nipsey made one final victory lap through the neighborhoods and communities he supported.

Nipsey Hussle was gunned down outside his store in L.A.’s Hyde Park area. He was pronounced dead of gunshot wounds to the head and torso less than an hour after being shot.

His closest friends and family members attended a private viewing Wednesday (Apr. 10) at the Angelus Funeral Home on Crenshaw Blvd.

Nipsey Hussle, whose real name was Ermias Asghedom, was laid to rest at Forest Lawn cemetery.

“RHOA” Star Porsha Williams Owes Over $240K in Back Taxes & the IRS is Threatening to Take Her House

Porsha Williams must be holding onto her peach pretty tight right about now, praying that she makes it season 12 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta … because she reportedly owes the IRS more than $240K in back taxes!

According to a document obtained by Daily Mail, Williams has been hit with a federal tax lien because of her failure to pay the government $240,524.10 over the past eight years.

A large portion of the money stems from the 2017 tax year when she failed to pay $197,907.58.

Williams received notice of the lien back in late-January. The federal government is threatening to take her property as payment if she does not pay Uncle Sam.

The document states:

We have made a demand for payment of this liability, but it remains unpaid. Therefore, there is a lien in favor of the United States on all property and rights to property belonging to this taxpayer for the amount of these taxes, and additional penalties, interest, and costs that may accrue.

Back in 2015, it was reported that Williams owed money “all over Atlanta” and was experiencing financial hardships following her 2013 divorce from former NFLer Kordell Stewart.

Williams was not granted any alimony, money, or a portion of Stewart’s NFL retirement fund following the divorce.

Stewart even kicked her out their marital mansion by changing the locks, forcing Williams to live with her mother.

A source close to Williams at the time gave more insight into the situation to Radar Online.

“Porsha was basically broke when she walked away from her marriage. She didn’t want anything from the divorce. Some of those debts her husband was responsible for, but it all came back to her.”

“Everyone makes mistakes and everyone has financial issues,” the source added. “Porsha is human, and is not ashamed of her past.”

However, Daily Mail notes that a massive chunk of the money Williams owes the IRS—over $235K—accrued after the divorce in the years of 2015 and 2017.

Money issues aside, Williams seems to be enjoying the blessings in life.

She gave birth to her first child, Pilar Jhena, last month and is engaged to Atlanta entrepreneur, Dennis McKinley.

Instagrammer Has Epic Meltdown Over Prospect of 9-5 Job After Account is Deleted: “I’m Nothing Without My Following”

The struggle is real out here for a social media influencer with no social media.

Instagrammer Jessy Taylor just had a breakdown to end all breakdowns believing she’s going to end up as a homeless prostitute doing meth because her IG account was deleted.

Worst yet, she fears having to get a 9-5 job.

“I know people like to see me be down and be like them and the ninety percenters—the people who work 9-5—that is not me, I am in L.A. to not be like that,” she said.

A hysterical Taylor recorded a nearly 4-minute YouTube video after realizing her Instagram account had been deleted.

Though it’s unclear why her profile was erased, Taylor blames trolls who repeatedly reported her account, which had amassed a pretty large following of 113K.

“I’m nothing without my following,” Taylor sobbed into her camera, explaining that all of her money comes from her online presence.

She went on to say that she was “worthless” and had no job qualifications, despite having some college education.

“What some of you guys have to realize is I have no skills, I’m twenty-f**king-thousand dollars in debt from college so I can’t even go to college if I wanted to.

“I used to work at f**king McDonalds before I did YouTube, Instagram, before I had 100,000 followers, before I had everything in my life I was a f**king loser.”

The 21-year-old revealed that she used to be a prostitute and a stripper, and she fears she’ll have to return to sex work.

“The last thing I want to be is a homeless prostitute in the f**king street doing meth,” she said. “That is the last thing I want to do so stop trying to ruin my life for all the ice-decided trolls out there.”

Taylor’s viral YouTube clip has become her most-watched video with nearly 400K views.

The epic millennial meltdown has been mocked by social media and Taylor responded via her new Instagram account.

“Motherf**kers need to shut the f**k up and go back to mother f**king work and get their mother f**king bag and don’t mother f**king worry about me. How ’bout that?”

Clearly not as “influential,” Taylor’s newly created Instagram account only has a little over 6,000 followers.

Kim Kardashian Stuns the World by Announcing She’s Studying to Become a Lawyer & Plans on Taking the Bar Exam in 2022

Since I feel like I’ve been living a bizarre twilight zone since November 2016, let me go ahead and paint this future for you:

America somehow survives two terms of a Trump presidency. (And yes, we’re all still free!) It’s 2025 and Kanye West has just been inaugurated as the 46th President of the United States. Kim Kardashian stands by his side, not only as FLOTUS, but as a Supreme Court justice!

This is obviously a hyperbolic hypothetical foretelling of our future, but back to reality, one thing is true: Kim Kardashian has confirmed her interest in becoming a lawyer and has begun the steps to do so.

“I had to think long and hard about this,” Kardashian exclusively tells Vogue. Last summer, the reality star and business mogul began a four-year apprenticeship at a law firm in San Francisco, with hopes of taking the bar exam in 2022.

California is one of four U.S. states that allow people to take the bar exam by “reading the law” or apprenticing with a practicing lawyer or judge.

Kardashian will need to take a “baby bar” exam this summer and will be allowed to continue her studies for three more years if she passes.

“First year of law school, you have to cover three subjects: criminal law, torts, and contracts. To me, torts is the most confusing, contracts the most boring, and crim law I can do in my sleep. Took my first test, I got a 100. Super easy for me. The reading is what really gets me. It’s so time-consuming. The concepts I grasp in two seconds.”

Kardashian felt compelled to follow in her father’s footsteps after playing a major role in convincing President Trump to grant clemency to Alice Marie Johnson in 2018.

The 63-year-old had been in prison for 21 years due to a first-time, non-violent drug offense. Kardashian, along with a team of activists, met with Trump at the White House to advocate for Johnson’s release.

“The White House called me to advise to help change the system of clemency and I’m sitting in the Roosevelt Room with, like, a judge who had sentenced criminals and a lot of really powerful people and I just sat there, like, ‘Oh, shit’ I need to know more. I would say what I had to say, about the human side and why this is so unfair. But I had attorneys with me who could back that up with all the facts of the case.

“It’s never one person who gets things done; it’s always a collective of people, and I’ve always known my role, but I just felt like I wanted to be able to fight for people who have paid their dues to society. I just felt like the system could be so different, and I wanted to fight to fix it, and if I knew more, I could do more.”

Since Johnson’s release, Kim has quietly continued her work in criminal justice reform by visiting prisons, petitioning governors, and even attending more meetings at the White House.

She’s also been working with #cut50, a national bipartisan criminal justice form advocacy group co-founded by CNN commentator Van Jones and attorney Jessica Jackson.

Kardashian was also present in the Oval Office when Trump signed the FIRST STEP Act, a “sweeping bipartisan criminal justice bill,” that many activists argue will have minimal effect.

Kardashian said of the signing: “I never in a million years thought we would get to the point of getting laws passed. That was really a turning point for me.”

Naturally, following the unexpected revelation that Kim Kardashian wants to be the real Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, social media had a few thoughts.

The mother of three—with a fourth on the way via surrogacy—already knows people will doubt her decision, but she’s content with that and ready to prove them wrong.

“I don’t pay attention to that anymore,” she said. “I love to be put in a situation where I can have a conversation with someone who might not be inclined to think much of me, because I can guarantee they will have a different opinion and understand what’s important to me after they’ve met me.”

Kim’ late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., was an attorney, famously known for being part of O.J. Simpson’s dream team of lawyers during his 1994 murder trial. Kardashian recalls sneaking into her father’s office and being fascinated by the forensics and files of the case.

Kim Kardashian, attorney at law, is definitely not something any of us probably anticipated. But truth be told, the amateur sex tape star turned mogul has shut-up her haters one-by-one, including me, with her formidable business acumen. And now she’s using her influence as an advocate for justice and political change.

At this point, I put nothing past Mrs. Kim Kardashian-West.

Police Confirm Bodies Found in the Dominican Republic Belong to Missing New York Couple

After two bodies were found in the Dominican Republic near the site of a car crash where the missing New York couple would have been driving, authorities have confirmed that one of the bodies has been identified as the missing woman.

According to the New York Daily News, police said 32-year-old Portia Ravenelle was found unconscious on March 27th on a road that leads to the international airport in Santo Domingo.

Ravenelle was rushed to a local hospital, where she died on April 4th.

The woman was identified by her fingerprints, Dominican National Police spokesman Frank Felix Duran Mejia told DR newspaper Diario Libre.

More via NY Daily News:

The body of a man was found in the ocean on March 31 — about 20 miles from where Ravenelle was found. Authorities believe it is her boyfriend Orlando Moore.

Because the corpse was water damaged and decomposed, fingerprints can’t be used to identify the body, Duran Mejia said.

Instead, photos of tattoos inked on the man are being sent to Moore’s brother for identification, police said. Moore sported a “MILANO” tattoo on his arm.

Authorities believe the couple crashed and went off the road into the ocean as they headed back to the airport just before 2 a.m. on March 27 to fly home. Their rental car, cops said, is in the sea.

The couple’s neighbors in Mount Vernon reacted with shock Wednesday.

“I had no idea they were going on vacation. I had some things going on in the house and I needed Orlando’s assistance. He told me he was out of the country,” said John Hollis, 52, Moore’s neighbor. They last spoke early on March 26, and Moore said he was coming home.

Hollis said he and Ravenelle — who had two daughters and a son — were good friends.

“Orlando was a very vibrant, outgoing person that would do anything for you if you asked him to. He was always asking me if I needed help getting stuff done,” he said. “She would call me up in the morning and say, ‘Hi handsome’ and I would say ‘Hi beautiful.’ I’m going to miss that.”

Not everyone who knows the couple buys the story being sold by the Dominican police.

Moore’s ex-girlfriend, who declined to give her name, is skeptical of the official account.

“It just doesn’t add up. Orlando and I have been on trips together and it doesn’t add up. Orlando is very cautious. If they were driving at night, he would’ve been very careful. I mean, it’s the DR, they have their advisories,” she said.

Others who know the pair also fear the worst.

“…Sounds like it’s open season on American tourists. They wait for you, they scope you out,” said Ivy Durkin, 64, who lives next to Ravenelle’s mother. “To be honest, it’s a very high possibility, when they got on the road, somebody cut them off and did what they did.

“No worse thing could happen to these people. They are just such good people.”

What do you think happened to the couple? We’re not fans of conspiracy theories around here, but this does sound a bit fishy…

Kodak Black: T.I. Called Me Out About Disrespecting Lauren London Because He Wants “First Dibs”

Kodak Black ruffled a lot of feathers when he said he was going to holler at Lauren London after giving her a year (or two) to cry over her boyfriend Nipsey Hussle’s murder.

One of his most outspoken critics was T.I., who said to Kodak in an Instagram video: “Hey, Kodak Black: You outta pocket, n***a. Fix that shit—quickly, expeditiously.”

In addition to publicly calling Kodak out, T.I. also removed Kodak’s exhibit at his Trap Museum in Atlanta, which didn’t faze the “ZEZE” rapper not one bit.

In fact, this was Kodak’s exact response to the news: “Rest in peace Shawty Lo. F**k that p***y ass museum, bitch. I ain’t give y’all permission to put me up there anyway, bitch.”

And now, Kodak Black is doubling down on his disrespect of T.I. by claiming that the Atlanta rapper’s reasoning behind coming after him over his Lauren London comments were impure and had nothing to do with respect for Nipsey Hussle at all.

“Dude just wants first dibs on her,” Kodak said about T.I. in a recent Instagram Live video.

The video’s poor quality makes it hard to hear the rest of what the Florida rapper says, but he makes it clear that T.I. just “wants first dibs” by repeating the statement multiple times before telling to rap elder to “eat a baby d*ck.”

Kodak’s theory is interesting, considering Lauren London did play T.I.’s girlfriend in “ATL.” But that movie is more than a decade old, and if T.I. really wanted Lauren London, he probably would have made a move years ago before he got married to Tiny in 2010 and before she got into relationships with Lil Wayne (who T.I. is good friends with) and, more recently, Nipsey Hussle.

The fallout from Kodak Black’s comments regarding Lauren London and Nipsey Hussle has been swift. In addition to T.I.’s reaction, Real 92.3’s Big Boy and Power 106 both banned Kodak’s music from their station until he issues a proper apology.

Kodak previously made a poor attempt at an apology by saying “If I disrespected you, Lauren London, in any shape or form, I’m sorry, even though I didn’t.”
