As the saying goes: It takes a village to raise a child. And it’s completely understandable for families with children of a different race than their parents to ask for help when it comes to parenting and cultural differences.

But one problematic white mom went back to her plantation roots while basically seeking a mammy for her black child.

A white mother recently logged onto the Facebook parenting group “Portland Mamas” in need of a “grandmother figure caretaker” for her 3-month-old biracial daughter. She preferably wanted a black woman so the little girl would be “cared and expressed to the culture of her [ancestry].”

That’s all fine and dandy. But here’s the problem: White mama doesn’t want to pay the black nanny for her services. Payment for the caretaker position is a “community partnership,” as she put it.

“Our pay is more of a community partnership and less of a financial incentive,” the clueless mom wrote.

Another mom in the group quickly called out the problematic request, especially given the historical context of black women taking care of white people’s children for free.

“Are you legitimately asking for a Black woman who is no kin to you to take care of your child like family without financial compensation?” the offended member asked.

“This is problematic in all sorts of ways. As you’re raising a black child, please educate yourself on how and why this is just awful,” the member continued.

As the End of an NBA Era Approaches, Let’s Appreciate the Greatness We’ve Been Given

Before the NBA season even kicked off, many people already knew how it was going to end: with the Golden State Warriors in the Finals for the fifth year in a row. And here we are, eight months later, exactly where we all knew we’d end up.

The Warriors are sitting on the precipice of winning their third straight championship and fourth in the past five years, but maybe that’s not as big a problem as some would make it out to be.

For years, this has been a common complaint with the NBA. It’s become too predictable. And it’s not an unfounded claim.

This decade has seen the LeBron led Miami Heat in four straight finals, followed by the Warriors going against the then LeBron led Cavaliers for four years straight. It’s led many to question what the point is in even watching it all unfold if we already know the outcome.

While these criticisms do hold water to a certain degree, there’s also another argument that could be made. We’ve experienced one of the most impressive eras of NBA basketball, and we should be more appreciative because soon, it’s all going to come to an end.

Now, admittedly, I never got to witness the greatness that was Michael Jordan in his prime. My experience with his NBA career was the tail end, where he came out of retirement (for the second time) to play for the Wizards.

And I certainly don’t remember the Lakers and Celtics dynasties of the infant years of the NBA. So for me, this decade has served as a very unique era of basketball where we’ve witnessed an unparalleled greatness.

Despite the somewhat predictable nature of professional basketball right now, in ten or twenty years, NBA fans will be able to say they witnessed arguably the best player in basketball history as well as perhaps the greatest team the sport has ever seen, all in a ten-year span.

When the conversation for GOAT is brought up, the consensus to this day is Michael Jordan, and understandably so. And while certain other players (Kobe, Kareem, Magic, etc.) bear mentioning, there’s really no one who can challenge the throne quite like LeBron James. Since joining the league in 2003, he’s willed his team to the finals nine out of the sixteen years he’s played.

He’s passed MJ in all-time scoring, is top ten all-time in assists, and top twenty in all-time steals. It’s no wonder he only missed the NBA Finals twice this entire decade.

And while the argument of who truly is the greatest of all time can never be settled, we can at least look back and say we got the opportunity to watch one of the greatest players in all of history play in his prime, and that’s something that doesn’t happen often.

One of the reasons he isn’t the consensus favorite is his six losses compared to three victories in the Finals. And the reason he’s lost three out of his last four is that he just so happened to be going up against arguably the greatest team in the history of the league: the Golden State Warriors.

Even before adding NBA MVP Kevin Durant, the Warriors held the title for the most wins in the regular season, toppling the Jordan led Bulls mark of 72-10 by one victory. Granted, they ended up losing in the Finals to, you guessed it, LeBron James, yet they still set a mark that will likely never be reached again. Or at least not anytime soon.

Helmed by a pair of shooters who altered the way the game is played, the Warriors have dominated the second half of this decade in the same manner that LeBron James controlled the first half.

Had it not been for a blown 3-1 Finals lead (and an unfortunate, yet earned one-game suspension for Draymond Green), the Warriors would be competing for their fifth straight title, a feat not accomplished in the modern era.

So whereas some might complain that the NBA has become too predictable and even boring, I say we’ve been able to witness one of, if not the, greatest player as well as one of, again, if not the, greatest teams the league has ever seen. And while some could argue that Michael Jordan and his Bulls teams are the best overall, we never got to see the greatest player go up against the greatest team, because they were one and the same.

So thirty years from now, when NBA fans are recounting their heyday of professional basketball, we’ll be in a unique position of saying that we got to witness something this league has never seen before, and, perhaps, will never see again. Boring and predictable or not, this decade has given us a level of greatness that deserves to be recognized, especially since it’s coming to an end.

For the first time in eight years, LeBron is watching the NBA Finals from the comfort of his Los Angeles home. It’s understandable. Not purely because his surrounding cast isn’t great or that he spent much of the season sidelined with an injury. No, it’s because he’s going on his seventeenth season and greatness at that level can’t be sustained.

Whether it’s one more year or four, LeBron is on his way out, meaning we are losing one of the most tried and true staples the NBA has had this decade. But his greatness isn’t the only one that we are losing.

With Kevin Durant most assuredly leaving the Warriors after this Finals, both Klay Thompson and Draymond Green getting ready to enter free agency, and an aging supporting cast in Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston, the Warriors are also about to be changed forever, perhaps in a way that eliminates the confidence that they will once again be a shoo-in to make the Finals.

In essence, we are looking at the end of an NBA era that gave us both one of the greatest players ever and one of the most dominant teams ever. The face of the NBA is about to be forever changed, and while some may cheer on that prospect, let us not ignore the gift that we’ve been given.

Jason Mitchell Loses MTV Award Nomination As ‘The Chi’ Showrunner Reveals “Everyone” on Set Knew About His Sexual Misconduct

Following the decisions by Netflix and Showtime, MTV has also dropped actor Jason Mitchell. The network has rescinded his MTV Movie and TV Awards nomination.

Earlier this month, Mitchell was nominated in the “Best Performance in a Show” category at the 2019 MTV Movie and TV Awards for his work on the series The Chi.

However, today (May 29), Mitchell’s nomination was officially rescinded due to several allegations of misconduct while on the set of the Showtime series.

“In light of recent developments, we have removed Jason Mitchell as a nominee,” an MTV spokesperson confirmed today (May 29).

Mitchell was the only male nominee in the category, as MTV eliminated gender-specific categories a few years ago. His nomination will not be replaced and the category will remain with just four female nominees.

Facing “serious” allegations of sexual misconduct in the workplace, Mitchell was recently fired from his lead role in The Chi (just ahead of its third season) and an upcoming Netflix film, Desperados. Soon afterward, he was also dropped by his talent agency, management company, and lawyer.

At least two women accused the actor of misconduct, including his Chi co-star, Tiffany Boone. She felt so unsafe onset that she complained to producers and had her boyfriend accompany her onset when she had to film scenes with Mitchell.

A new showrunner for the Showtime drama, Ayanna Floyd, who joined the show for Season 2, recently stated that “everyone was well aware of [Mitchell’s] behavior,” including creator/executive producer, Lena Waithe.

Floyd said in a statement:

“When I took the helm in season two, it was Lena who informed me of the issues between Jason Mitchell and Tiffany Boone from season one, and that Tiffany was thinking of leaving the show because of it. As a result of this information, I discussed Tiffany’s claims with the studio’s HR department and set up HR presentations for the writers, cast and crew.

“Ultimately, everyone was well aware of Jason’s behavior and his multiple HR cases, including Lena, the creator and an executive producer of the show, who is very involved at the studio and network level.

“As showrunner, I did everything I could to deal with his behavior, by speaking with the studio’s HR department multiple times and instructing one actress to call HR herself, before I became a target of his rage and inappropriateness, and had to report him to HR, as well.”

Michell also faced allegations back in 2016, following his breakout role as Eazy-E in the film, Straight Outta Compton. An 18-year-old woman claimed he physically assaulted her during a hotel party.

Michell has not commented on the most recent allegations and his career troubles.

Kodak Black Denied Bond for Weapons Charges, Judge Calls Him a “Danger to the Community”

Kodak Black will remain in a Miami, Florida jail after a judge ordered him to be held without bond following his arrest earlier this month for weapons charges, saying that the rapper is a “danger to the community” and should be detained until he goes to trial in August

CBS Miami reports:

Federal prosecutors went to court Wednesday to appeal a judge’s decision to release the 21-year-old Pompano Beach native on $550,000 bond.

The rapper, whose current legal name is Bill Kapri and who was born Dieuson Octave, was arrested before his scheduled festival performance at the Rolling Loud festival this month in connection with an earlier weapons purchase.

U.S. District Court, Judge Federico Moreno said the rapper was a “danger to the community” based on his lengthy criminal record and should be detained until trial and set an August trial date.

Black previously pleaded not guilty to falsifying information on federal forms to purchase three firearms.

Authorities are investigating three unrelated shootings in the Miami area with possible connections to the festival. Authorities also say one weapon purchased by Black was found at the scene of a shooting in nearby Pompano Beach.

In Florida, he has been charged at different times with drug and weapons possession, armed robbery, sexual assault, probation violations and fleeing from officers, but Black has never done significant prison time.

He also faces drug, weapons and sexual assault charges in other states.

Kodak was arrested in Miami on May 11th right before he was scheduled to hit the Rolling Loud stage for allegedly lying on his Firearms Transaction Record (Form 4473).

According to the feds, Kodak lied on his form on not just one, but two separate occasions when he purchased three firearms from Lou’s Police Distributors gun store in Hialeah, Florida earlier this year.

On the part of the form that asks if the person filling it out is under indictment, Kodak reportedly checked “no,” despite his previous indictment for criminal sexual conduct for a 2016 case in South Carolina.

Kodak faces 10 years in prison if he’s convicted of falsifying information on federal forms.

Peter Gunz Calls Rumors He Has a Pregnant Teenage Girlfriend “Stupid,” Says He “Can’t Make a Baby” Anyway

Peter Gunz is clearing his name amid rumors he is dating a 19-year-old girl who is allegedly pregnant with what would be his 11th child from.

Earlier this week, it was widely reported that the 50-year-old former Love & Hip Hop star was dating a teenager and had recently impregnated her, but Peter Gunz says that’s “stupid talk” … because according to Peter, he “can’t make a baby” anyway, which also confirms reports that he had a vasectomy.

And it’s a good thing too … because a 50-year-old man with 10 children and five baby mamas dating and impregnating a 19-year-old girl is just wrong on so many levels, even though it’s perfectly legal.

Rah Ali From “Love & Hip Hop” Loses Baby Girl After Premature Birth at 5 Months, BFF Nicki Minaj Offers Support

Former Love & Hip Hop star Rah Ali is going through it right now after losing her baby girl five months into her pregnancy.

Multiple sources have confirmed that the 35-year-old “Stiletto Expert” gave birth to a daughter prematurely at five months on Sunday (May 26), but the baby sadly died “almost immediately” after being born, according to TMZ.

Sources close to the reality star said she wasn’t due until mid-October.

We’re told Rah Ali was in her house Sunday when her water broke and contractions started. She was rushed to the hospital, but doctors were unable to save her baby.

The premature birth came as a complete shock — we’re told all of Rah’s previous doctors visits revealed no signs of trouble with her pregnancy.

TMZ also reports that Rah’s good friend Nicki Minaj has been supporting her in the wake of the tragic loss. If you’ll recall, Ali allegedly tried to fight Cardi B for Nicki last year during that infamous shoe-throwing incident at the Harpers Bazaar NYFW party.

Our sources say Nicki’s doing everything she can to be supportive in the wake of the child’s death … calling and checking on Rah, and trying to lift her spirits … as much as possible considering the devastating situation.

Ali was reportedly planning to announce her pregnancy in June with a series of maternity photos like the one below.

Maxine Waters Calls Donald Trump a “Low Life, Lying, Crooked, Tax Evader, Porn Star Fornicator,” Says He Needs to “Take His Ridiculous Self Home”

Auntie Maxine is fired up! And y’alls president is catching all the heat.

Donald Trump has been on Congresswoman Maxine Waters’ bad side ever since he was elected president in 2016, but now he’s really pissed her off.

Over the weekend, Trump tweeted that he, unlike some of his own “people,” wasn’t bothered by North Korea’s recent weapons testing because the country’s dictator, Kim Jong Un, has already shown his loyalty to him by mocking his latest rival Joe Biden

“North Korea fired off some small weapons, which disturbed some of my people, and others, but not me,” Trump tweeted Sunday (Saturday, U.S. Time) while visiting Japan. “I have confidence that Chairman Kim will keep his promise to me, & also smiled when he called Swampman Joe Biden a low IQ individual, & worse. Perhaps that’s sending me a signal?”

Trump then doubled down on those comments in a subsequent news conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, saying: “Kim Jong Un made a statement that Joe Biden is a low-IQ individual. He probably is, based on his record. I think I agree with him on that.”

Biden’s camp fired back at Trump, calling his attacks “beneath the dignity of the office” and pointing out that he’s attacking a former U.S. Vice President “on foreign soil” during Memorial Day weekend.

“The President’s comments are beneath the dignity of the office,” Biden Deputy Campaign Manager Kate Bedingfield said. “To be on foreign soil, on Memorial Day, and to side repeatedly with a murderous dictator against a fellow American and former Vice President speaks for itself. And it’s part of a pattern of embracing autocrats at the expense of our institutions — whether taking Putin’s word at face value in Helsinki or exchanging ‘love letters’ with Kim Jong Un.”

The Cheeto in Chief returned to Twitter Tuesday to respond to Team Biden, saying that he was “actually sticking up for Sleepy Joe” when he publicly cheered a North Korean dictator for insulting the ex-veep.

“I was actually sticking up for Sleepy Joe Biden while on foreign soil,” Trump tweeted. “Kim Jong Un called him a ‘low IQ idiot,’ and many other things, whereas I related the quote of Chairman Kim as a much softer ‘low IQ individual.’ Who could possibly be upset with that?”

As we all know, Maxine Waters is probably the most outspoken Democrat when it comes to the President.

And in response to him once again proving to the world that he has no idea how to run a country, she went ALL THE WAY OFF on Twitter, calling him a “lying, crooked, tax evader, porn star fornicator” and saying he should “take his ridiculous self home, resign, and free us of what we will have to do to impeach him and throw him out of office!”

Trouble in Paradise? Porsha Williams Unfollows Fiancé Dennis McKinley & Posts Cryptic Message on Instagram, Sparking Break-Up Rumors

Porsha Williams’ fairytale may not have a happy ending after all. The newly engaged Real Housewives of Atlanta star is sparking rumors that she and her fiancé Dennis Mckinley are having relationship issues.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Porsha unfollowed Dennis on Instagram on Monday (May 27). And co-star Kandi Burruss knows all too well that Porsha will unfollow you when you’re not on her good side.

But not only that, Porsha’s sister, Lauren, and mother Diane, have also unfollowed Dennis!

Though it’s only social media, the three women standing together and shunning the Hot Dog Factory owner does make it seem like this is serious.

Porsha’s last IG post with Dennis was posted on May 18th. And just a few days ago, she posted a cryptic message, which many now wonder if it was referencing the rumored relationship woes.

“Not gonna worry tonight. God had it last time, God has it this time,” she wrote.

Porsha and Dennis are fresh off the heels of starring in their own Bravo spin-off, Porsha’s Having a Baby. The three-part mini-series focused on Porsha’s final months of pregnancy with her first child, Pilar.

The couple welcomed Pilar—first child for both parents—in March. The first picture of baby PJ was revealed earlier this month.

Porsha and Dennis went public with their relationship in June 2018 and got engaged in October. The happy couple was planning a New Year’s Eve 2019 wedding, which Porsha said she was “super exciting” to start planning.

“Game of Thrones” Star Kit Harington (Jon Snow) Reportedly Checked Into Rehab for Alcohol & Stress

Game of Thrones star Kit Harington has reportedly checked himself into rehab for issues related to stress and alcohol.

According to Page Six, Harington—who played Jon Snow on the hit HBO series for eight years—secretly checked into the Privé-Swiss luxury rehab center in Connecticut ahead of the show’s series finale, which aired on May 19th and “really hit him hard,” multiple sources said.

The report states that Harington has been undergoing “psychological coaching, practicing mindful meditation and cognitive behavioral therapy to combat stress and deal with negative emotions” at the high-end facility, which costs over $120,000 a month.

The British actor’s wife, fellow GoT star Rose Leslie (who played Jon Snow’s Wildling companion Ygritte) has reportedly been “extremely supportive” throughout his treatment.

A friend told Page Six of Harington, “The end of ‘GoT’ really hit Kit hard …

“He realized ‘this is it — this is the end’, it was something they had all worked so hard on for so many years. He had a moment of, what next?

“He’s in the clinic predominantly for stress and exhaustion and also alcohol. His wife Rose is being extremely supportive. Everyone close to him really wanted him to get some rest. Right now, he just needs peace and quiet.”

After eight seasons following his character Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen on their separate journeys, then finally as a couple, in the final episode, “GoT” fans saw Jon stab Dany – the woman he loves – to death in the heart to save the realm. The episode broke TV records, with 19.3 million viewers tuning in.

A “GoT” behind-the-scenes documentary titled “The Last Watch” released at the time of the finale showed Harington breaking down in tears and holding his hand to his mouth in horror at the moment he first learned his character would kill Dany.

The actor became totally choked up during a table read with the entire cast, where the actors were led through the finale script for the first time by show creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.

Harington later said of that emotional moment, “I was very shocked and surprised at certain events,” during a “Late Show with Jimmy Fallon” appearance, “and then I blubbed my eyes out. I cried.”

The actor has been allowed the freedom to leave the facility for breaks over the past month and has been seen by locals in Connecticut heading to a fitness and wellness studio, plus a local book store.

On the same weekend of the “GoT” finale, he was spotted at RJ Julia Booksellers in the small town of Madison, Conn., telling staff he was on “holiday” in the area, according to local reports.

One resident who has repeatedly seen the actor in recent weeks on his trips out of the facility told us, “Kit looks really good and appears to be very focused on his health and wellness.

“I have personally seen him out in the community many times. I think it’s wonderful that he is taking time to take care of himself – more people should.”

Harington has been open about his struggle as the show turned him into a huge international star and admits he sought therapy after learning Jon would kill Daenerys.

He recently told Variety his lowest and “darkest” point came as he became the focus of the show as Jon was killed and then came back to life.

“It wasn’t a very good time in my life,” he said. “I felt I had to feel that I was the most fortunate person in the world when actually, I felt very vulnerable. I had a shaky time in my life around there — like I think a lot of people do in their 20s.”

“My darkest period was when the show seemed to become so much about Jon when he died and came back,” he explained. “I really didn’t like the focus of the whole show coming onto Jon.

“When you become the cliffhanger of a TV show, and a TV show probably at the height of its power, the focus on you is f**king terrifying.

“That was a time when I started therapy and started talking to people,” he said, “I had felt very unsafe, and I wasn’t talking to anyone.”

He also told Esquire in April that he had a “full-on breakdown” after filming his final scenes for “GoT” and that he felt he was “being skinned” taking off his Jon Snow costume.

“My final day of shooting, I felt fine … I felt fine … I felt fine … then I went to do my last shots and started hyperventilating a bit …Then they called ‘wrap’ and I just f**king broke down. It was this onslaught of relief and grief about not being able to do this again.”

He added, “But the weirdest bit was when we came off set and they started taking the costume off and it felt like being skinned … It felt like they were unceremoniously for the last time ripping off this character.”

We can imagine that being a part of a huge show like Game of Thrones for so long has its pros and cons … and now that it’s over, we’re sure it’s a bittersweet moment for the entire cast.

Hopefully, Kit Harington is getting the help that he needs and comes out of this stronger than ever!

#LivingWhileBlack: Lawmakers Are Pushing to Make It Illegal for White People to Call the Police on Black People for Existing

Attention all BBQ Beckys, Permit Pattys and Cornerstore Carolines: You’re officially on notice.

That’s right, after a year in which several high-profile cases spawned by white people calling the police on black people for doing ordinary things like, barbecuing in a park, selling bottled water or walking by a white woman in a convenience store, certain municipalities are fed up with the waste of public resources and the unwanted national media attention.

The Los Angeles Times has a thorough report that notes that Grand Rapids, Michigan, which had a #LivingWhileBlack incident of its own, is the latest city to join the fight against white people who use the police as their own personal form of harassment.

The city recently introduced legislation that would fine those who place racially motivated phone calls against their neighbors and fellow citizens.

A proposed ordinance would make it a “criminal misdemeanor to racially profile people of color for participating in their lives” and subject people behind those 911 calls to a $500 fine.

“A policy like this makes it so people have to think about whether their decision to call 911 is grounded in something significant,” said Senita Lenear, a Grand Rapids city commissioner who is the first black person in her position. “Our resources can’t be wasted on police addressing nonissues. You can’t ignore that people of color are the ones who have been victimized…. That is a part of a pattern.”

Did y’all catch that? Senita Lenear, as a black woman, is the one advancing our agenda and our cause. This is why when we tell y’all black asses to get out and vote, we mean it.

More representation means our interests are better heard and laws that are designed to protect us stand a chance of being openly discussed, debated and voted on.

Because police departments are a local government service, we likely won’t see a federal rule across the board, so expect to see more and more cities and states following in Grand Rapids footsteps as they attempt to swat down Permit Patty and her kin.

Similar legislation to the Grand Rapids one is already popping up in Oregon and New York State.

One person who’s not jumping up and down for joy in Grand Rapids though is interim police chief, David Kiddle. He declined to formally take a position on the ordinance, according to the LA Times. I bet you can’t guess his race?

“I look forward to the community and stakeholders having the opportunity to weigh in and discuss the proposed ordinance and I look forward to working with the city as it moves forward,” he said.

Uh huh. OK.

He’s looking forward to this ordinance becoming law about as much as Stevie J looks forward to a child support payment. Come on now.

Lamar Odom Was So High On Coke & Ecstasy One Time That He Threatened to Kill Khloe Kardashian

When Lamar Odom was going through it, he really was going through it.

While we read many reports about the former NBA star partying hard and living it up, the details coming forth in his new book Darkness to Light shed new light into just how far down the rabbit hole Lamar fell.

Radar Online reports that Lamar was so high that he took a golf club and trashed their home and he more shockingly, he threatened to kill his wife.

Lamar admitted that he began hallucinating, prompting Khloe to call his friends for help. However, when the friends left, Lamar admitted he was so outraged he “forcefully” grabbed the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star as he shouted threats in her face.

“What the f**k are you doing?” Lamar said he screamed at Khloe. “You trying to embarrass me in front of my friends? I’ll f**king kill you! You don’t know what I’m capable of!”

OK … I guess Lamar wildly disagreed with Drake’s “No New Friends” anthem at that time then?

Moving on from the friendship tip, the hard-hitting damage that Odom caused to his home’s drywall with a golf club had to have been staggering.

The former Los Angeles Lakers player added that he believed people were following him and microphones were recording him.

“They could read my thoughts. They were in my phone,” Lamar wrote. “They were in my head. They were in the walls.”

In the midst of his drug-fueled rage, Lamar said he began destroying his home with a golf club.

“I just kept swinging and ripping out the drywall,” he wrote. “Before I was done there were dozens of gaping holes in the walls. The golf club was bent in half.”

I don’t know if Lamar has homeowner’s insurance again, but if he does, he’d better hope his current insurers aren’t finding out about this incident via the news. Cause if they weren’t aware of it before, that premium will DEFINITELY take off now.

So far, no comment from Khloe on how she feels about her ex-husband blathering about her so much, but I’m gonna take it that she’s not a fan of this particular story since, you know, he threatened her with domestic violence.

Wendy Williams Shops Tell-All Interview As Future of Talk Show Is Uncertain Due to Her Drinking Problem

Wendy Williams is ready to tell all—but for a price.

The talk show host is reportedly pitching an hour-long primetime interview spot to share all the details regarding her messy divorce and battle with addiction. However, it seems the major networks are hesitant to meet her demands.

According to the Daily Mail, Williams has shopped the interview idea to ABC, NBC, and Oprah’s OWN. But here’s the problem: Even Gayle King didn’t give R. Kelly an hourlong spot … and his drama was waaaayyy juicier.

“Her people wanted a morning show initially but then the idea came along for her to get an hour-long prime time slot, which most of the networks have balked at,” a source tells the Daily Mail.

“An hour of Wendy time is a lot of time. Gayle King didn’t even give R. Kelly an hour. The other concern for the networks is which of their star names would sit down with her.”

Just days after her son was arrested for punching his father, Williams apparently wants to do the interview in order to create positive buzz around her and her talk show.

Insiders say the future of the popular show is in limbo because Williams has reportedly stopped going to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and network execs fear she may relapse.

Williams doesn’t think she has a drinking a problem and attributed her recent drinking habit to the stress caused by Kevin Hunter. Now that he’s gone, she believes she no longer needs AA. But sources are still concerned.

“She has been going out partying after work and comes into the show in the morning with her big sunglasses on, no one knows for sure but everyone is worried for her,” one insider said.

Williams unexpected two-month hiatus earlier this year while she checked herself into a sober living facility reportedly cost the show $1 million due to lost ad revenue.

“Some major sponsors, including Walmart, had to cut campaigns because of Wendy’s absence,” a source said.

“The show lost $1 million in ad revenue. That’s had a knock-on effect and the show has had to cut certain people’s salaries which has been a major issue.”

The talk show’s current deal is set to end in summer 2020. If it were to be renewed, a deal would normally already be reached at this point. However, Fox is “stalling” because of Williams’ personal issues.

Presidents of the Deb-Mar Mercury production company even flew out from Los Angeles to New York last week to have a talk with Williams.

Sources also say that Williams has created a “toxic atmosphere” on the set of the show since divorcing Kevin Hunter and ousting him as an executive producer.

“People are backstabbing each other and Wendy’s decisions are causing further chaos,” a source said. “Kevin was not well liked but at least he kept things together, he kept people in check.”

Amid the behind-the-scenes chaos, executives and staffers are vying for promotions or jumping ship, including longtime producer Talia Parkinson-Jones, who recently departed to join the new Tamron Hall talk show.

Though it’s difficult to sort fact from gossip when it comes to Williams’ divorce and addiction, one thing is certain: Wendy Williams’ house is definitely not in order.

The former Love & Hip Hop star—who is 50 years old and apparently is deathly allergic to condoms—reportedly has a 19-year-old girlfriend, and according to internet rumors, she’s pregnant with his 11th child.

Last year, rumors surfaced that Gunz was engaged to an 18-year-old, and now a year later, his alleged teen girlfriend is reportedly carrying his baby.

Media Take Out claims to have spoken with a Love & Hip Hop producer, who didn’t necessarily confirm the rumors, but alluded to Peter having a very interesting storyline for the show if they decide to bring him back.

“We’re considering re-adding Peter to the cast of Love & Hip Hop NY,” the producer reportedly said. “There’s a recent development in his life that would be interesting to his fans.”

If you’re one of the millions of people who watched Peter Gunz make a fool out of his wife and baby mama (two separate people) on national television, this news shouldn’t surprise you one bit because his whole storyline was about getting women pregnant and cheating on them.

According to a couple of screenshots floating around the internet, Gunz’ ex-wife Amina dropped hints on social media last year that Peter was in a serious relationship with a “younger woman.”

She wrote on an Instagram Live stream: “You don’t gotta show her to this mean world out here but u can admit u dating a younger woman while you at the topic. Especially when u planning on marrying her while we haven’t finalized the divorce.”

Whoever this “younger woman” is … if she is indeed pregnant, not only will the baby be Peter’s 11th child, but the woman would be his SIXTH baby mama.

Princess Love Says She’s Leaving “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood”

Princess Love has announced that she will not be returning to Love & Hip Hop Hollywood this year after five seasons on the VH1 show.

The reality star and wife of Ray J broke the news to her fans on Instagram Sunday evening (May 26) that she will not be appearing on LHHH‘s upcoming sixth season.

“Thank you for all of your support over the years but I will no longer be a part of Love and Hip Hop,” Princess wrote on IG with a heart emoji as the caption.

Princess didn’t give a specific reason as to why she chose to part ways with the series after being a longtime cast member since the first season (some online rumors suggest she was fired), but her fans were very supportive of the decision.

“Good sis. That show is toxic,” IG user Irisliniado responded to the post.

“Happily married with a baby, that show doesn’t like that kind of energy,” another user wrote.

Princess’ announcement comes just a few days after she shared pictures of her and Ray J celebrating their daughter Melody’s first birthday at Disneyland.

Murder Suspect Carried Victim’s Casket at Funeral & Told Family He Had Nothing to Do With Shooting Death

After former Greenville High School (South Carolina) athlete LaMarckus Boswell was shot and killed in March 2018, longtime “friend” Kendrick Cobb stood by mourning family members and carried Boswell’s casket as a pallbearer at his funeral.

Now, 14 months later, Cobb has been charged with Boswell’s murder after he told family members he had nothing to do with the man’s shooting death.

Cobb was denied bond during an initial hearing on May 19th, but during a second hearing on Friday (May 24), Boswell’s family was given the opportunity to address the court, which is when they revealed the shocking news that Cobb was a part of Boswell’s funeral services.

According to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, Boswell got into an altercation with another man inside a Greenville, S.C. apartment the night of March 25th, 2018.

When the argument spilled into the parking lot, shots were fired, and Boswell was hit. He was pronounced dead on the scene from gunshot wounds to the chest, the Greenville County Coroner said.

Deputies later determined that the gun used in the shooting belonged to Boswell’s “friend” Kendrick Cobb. Police believe two others also fired weapons at the scene, but those bullets didn’t strike Boswell. Investigators said they’re still trying to identify the other two gunmen.

At Friday’s hearing, Boswell’s family members wore t-shirts and jewelry featuring pictures of the victim to honor his memory. They told reporters they were shocked to find out Cobb was identified as a suspect because he had previously told them he wasn’t involved.

“I wanted to be here to make sure that he wouldn’t get back on the street and harm anyone else,” Boswell’s mother, Dorothy Boyd, told The Greenville News. “There were so many people out there when it happened, and nobody spoke up. If they had did it at the time, we wouldn’t have gone through what we’ve been through this whole year and two months.”

Community activist Traci Fant, who has been working closely with Boswell’s family to help them get justice for his murder, said the victim’s relatives feel betrayed after finding out a supposed friend was responsible for taking his life.

“They look at him like a brother, like a son, like a family member, and in return, he took their loved one’s life,” Fant said. “You have to understand, this is difficult for both sides of the board.”

Boswell, also known as “Boz,” left behind three children, and Cobb also has two children of his own, Boswell’s family said.

“The children is what’s suffering the most out of this. It’s the children. It’s about the children,” Scotty Jerrell Parks, another family member, said during the hearing Friday. “Whatever you do from this day forward, you ask God to forgive you, and we’ll try to forgive you in our hearts.”

And while some of Boswell’s family members have already forgiven Cobb for his alleged actions, the victim’s sister isn’t there yet.

“I’m still angry,” said Leslie Chillious. “I asked him, we all asked him, ‘Tell us the truth,’ and he still lied.”

She said Cobb was with the family at the mortuary, attended LaMarckus’ funeral and was among the men who carried his casket.

“Something is wrong with him, a sick individual,” Chillious said.

Chick-fil-A has always been there for me and I can always count on them.

But who knew I could count on Chick-fil-A even during a natural disaster? Like who knew Chick-fil-A would be there to help me so I don’t end up like Dorothy and Toto in The Wizard of Oz?

Well, apparently, Chick-fil-A has my back in more ways than I ever knew, and a video clip going viral online shows just how much the franchise values its customers.

In the video clip, Chick-fil-A employees at an Oklahoma City location are seen motioning customers to jump through the drive-thru window to escape a possible tornado in the area. The employees helped the customers get inside the restaurant and in a safe place.

For several days, flooding, severe storms, and tornadoes have impacted the state of Oklahoma, resulting in at least six people being reported dead and nearly 100 injuries.

No one was injured at the Chick-fil-A in Oklahoma City, however.

At the end of the day, Chick-fil-A makes me realize that I’m never alone out here. That no matter how hard it gets, Chick-fil-A will be by my side and down to ride.

Florida Brothers, Aged 5 & 6, Found Dead at Bottom of Apartment Complex Swimming Pool After Sneaking Out While Mom Was Asleep

Summer hasn’t even officially kicked off yet and drowning-related deaths are already beginning to make headlines and break the hearts of families across the country.

Just in Florida last week, two young brothers died after drowning in an apartment pool in North Lauderdale.

6-year-old Ja’Kye Joseph and 5-year-old Branario Minto were found unresponsive at the bottom of the pool by their family members Wednesday night (May 22) at the Silver Palms Condominiums, the apartment complex where they lived.

According to authorities, the boys’ family members pulled them out of the pool and performed CPR while they waited on first responders to arrive.

The brothers were then rushed to the Northwest Medical Center where they were pronounced dead.

Their mother Wildine Joseph told reporters that she believes her sons snuck out of the house while she was asleep and climbed over the fence that guarded the pool, which was locked and closed at the time of the tragic incident.

“I’m sorry, I was sleeping and didn’t get there fast enough,” she said, according to Local 10.

Joseph apologized to her sons for letting them down and said she will always miss them.

“I wasn’t there to save them but they’re in a better place now,” Joseph said. “That’s all that matters. I will always miss my babies. I’m sorry Ja’kye, I’m sorry Branario. They were only five and six, I lost my babies too early.”

She also told reporters that one of her sons had been recently taking swimming lessons and thought he could swim.

“He thought he could swim but they cannot swim, I think the brother tried to help him so he jumped in too,” said Joseph.

Police are investigating the brother’s drowning deaths and are asking anyone who may have seen anything to reach out.

The Department of Children and Families have removed the two younger siblings of the brothers, a 4-month-old and 1-year-old child, from the family home as the investigation is ongoing.

During a dependency hearing on Friday (May 24), a judge ruled that both infants would remain in state custody. The court will also be holding a hearing next month in which the state may move to terminate Wildine Joseph and the father of the children’s parental rights.

“The department wants to give notice that we will be staffing this for a possible termination of parental rights,” a child protective representative said.

According to The Department of Children and Families, the family has a history with CPS.

Zion Williamson hasn’t even been drafted into the NBA yet and he’s already getting multimillion-dollar sneaker and move deal offers.

The New Orleans Pelicans won the 2019 NBA Draft Lottery, which means they get to make the first pick of the draft … and because Zion Williamson is the #1 draft pick, it’s highly likely he’ll be chosen by the Pelicans to join their team for the 2019-2020 season.

New Orleans natives Master P and Romeo recently spoke to TMZ and let it be known that they had a special offer for Williamson if he ends up getting drafted by Nola’s NBA team.

Not only do the Miller Boyz want Williamson to star in the third installment of “I Got the Hookup” (which also features Jeezy, Michael Blackson, D.C. Young Fly and others), but they’re also offering him a $20 million sneaker deal.

“I got a beautiful idea, we need to get Zion in ‘I Got The Hook-Up 3,'” Romeo said.

Master P added: “I know Zion gonna get a big shoe deal from Nike or Adidas or whatever. We gonna get him a deal just to have to wear shoes outside of basketball … Just to wear it on the side, not in the game, I’m saying $20 [million].”

DaBaby Issues Warning After Knocking Clout-Chaser Out of His Pants: “N***as Love to Play Victim Then Call the Police”

DaBaby wants the world to know that he is 100% about that life and stop playing with him … or else you too will end up beaten and bloodied (or dead) like his other victims.

For those who haven’t seen the video that’s been circulating social media … DaBaby was minding his business doing some shopping at the Louis Vuitton store in SouthPark Mall in Charlotte, North Carolina Saturday when all of a sudden a clout-chasing fellow Charlotte rapper named Cam Coldheart approached him, called him a “bitch a** n***a” and then challenged him to a fight that he ultimately lost.

DaBaby shared the footage on his own Instagram page (see below) and it quickly went viral, sending a strong message to anyone out there who may have ideas about running up on him in the future. He captioned the video: “When bullying Baby on the internet goes wrong.”

Right after the mall beatdown, DaBaby and his crew went straight to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where the rapper performed a concert for the tourist spot’s Memorial Day Weekend festivities.

“N***as love to play with me, play victim, then call the police,” he said in a video shared to his IG stories, referring to Saturday’s mall beatdown, while relaxing in the bed in his Myrtle Beach hotel Sunday morning (May 26).

While it’s still unclear whether or not DaBaby actually handled the guy all by himself (he says he did, while the other guy says it was the “Suge” rapper’s security) … the message still stands. If you mess with DaBaby, you WILL get beat the f**k up.

This latest incident marks the second of its kind in two weekends. If you’ll recall, last week, a fan was severely beaten by DaBaby’s security after insisting on a photo with the rapper ahead of a concert in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

The fan, later identified as an aspiring rapper named Don Trag, was taken to the hospital, where he remains in a coma with significant brain and neck swelling and “is not doing well,” according to family members who say that he’s in danger of dying.

Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and a group of girlfriends were spotted attending Janet Jackson’s Las Vegas residency “Metamorphosis” at the Park Theater at Park MGM Saturday night (May 25) for what was described as a “fun girls’ night.”

According to ET Online:

Bey sat in lounge seating just behind the main crowd for what our eyewitness says was clearly a “fun girls’ night.”

“She was all smiles and was dancing in her seat and even standing up dancing to Janet,” the eyewitness says, noting the mom of three looked “beautiful.” “She left just before the show ended, presumably to avoid the crowds.”

Clips of the singer, which have since surfaced online, show Beyonce enjoying her night out alongside fellow Destiny’s Child member, Kelly Rowland. The pair were clearly having fun bopping along to Jackson’s career-spanning show.
