Gay Trump Supporter Says His Autism (Not Racism) Made Him Call Cops on Black Women at Swimming Pool

It’s just another day in America and that means we’re facing yet another story of a scared white person calling the police on black people for existing.

This time we have Nick Starr-Street, a gay Trump supporter (can you tell he’s full of contradictions?) who claims to be autistic, but at the same time is incredibly anal-retentive about the glassware policy of the leasing office at The Edition—his apartment complex in Hyattsville, Maryland.

I’m going to quickly recap the issue using details from this report from WUSA9 and then I want to ask so many questions because so much of this story and scenario don’t make a lick of sense.

A man called police on two separate groups of black women at an apartment complex, and the ladies believe their race played a factor.

The encounters took place at the swimming pool inside of The Edition Apartments on East-West Highway in Hyattsville, Maryland this past weekend.

Starr-Street told WUSA9 he noticed the glass bottles from his apartment window and decided to go to the pool to get proof that the women were breaking a rule.

In the first video posted on Soso’s Twitter account, you can see Starr-Street recording one of the women and telling her “glassware is not allowed at the pool.”

The woman in the video agreed to get rid of the glass and asked, “What else do I need to do for you to be comfortable?”

You can view the video of the first confrontation, which happened on Saturday (Jun. 22), where one of the women confronting him was calm, poised and polite as she tried to de-escalate the situation.

That patience didn’t pay off as Starr-Street still felt compelled to call the police on the women BBQ Becky-style.

On Sunday (Jun. 23), Starr-Street’s policing of the music and glassware policy got even more intense when he confronted another group of black women about the policy they were supposedly violating.

This confrontation got a little more aggressive as the woman Starr-Street was confronting with his smartphone pointed at her smacked it out of his hand.

Nick claimed that this constituted an assault and proceeded to call the police on this second group of black women and then, shockingly, FOLLOWED the women out of the apartment complex as they walked to their car.

This all seems terribly unnecessary given the supposed infraction that Starr-Street was trying to police these black women over.

But according to Starr-Street, this hyperfocus has nothing to do with racism and everything to do with his autism.

“My sense of right and wrong is 0 or 100. I don’t care,” Starr-Street said.

He explained that he called security on a group of white women at the pool on Monday, but admitted he never recorded them or called Hyattsville police.

“I’m autistic. I just see right and wrong,” Starr-Street explained. “I don’t see race. I don’t see gender. I don’t see color. I don’t see any of that.”

Who Is Nick Starr-Street? And If He’s So Scared of Black People, Why Does He Live in the Blackest County in Maryland?

So here’s one of the things that is the most confusing about this whole Nick Starr-Street incident.

If you’re going to be racist and can’t stand the sight of black people drinking alcohol, laughing and listening to music, then maybe you shouldn’t live in the blackest county in the state of Maryland?

Seriously, Prince George’s county is 64% black.

What is a gay, Trump-loving, scaredy-pants white man doing living in an apartment complex in the blackest county in Maryland?

That’s like a klansman deciding to go watch Black Panther in a Magic Johnson theater. You’re just asking to be irritated, annoyed and angry.

If you’re wondering how I know Nick is a Trump-loving racist, it wasn’t that hard finding that info. because Nick was loud and proud about his viewpoints, which confusingly included being “Anti-LGBTQ” even though he himself is gay.

The evidence is disappearing though as he is currently deleting his social media profiles as the backlash sets in.

But one of the victims on the receiving end of his harassment, Felecia Soso, snagged a screenshot of his Instagram page before he deactivated it:

He’s married to a man named Brian Starr-Street who works at a coffee shop/bar/bistro called Slipstream DC.

Due to the media attention and backlash, the restaurant has currently suspended Nick’s husband from work.

Having your nosy-ass husband sticking his nose in other’s people’s business for no good reason is grounds for filing for divorce in my opinion. But Brian might be the “stand by your man” type.

Nick Starr-Street Gets Evicted From The Edition

The Hyattsville Police Department washed their hands of this hot mess early on and said that no one was charged or in trouble because this insane white man didn’t like that black women were sipping beverages out of glassware by the pool.

It’s still not clear why this glass prohibition is even a rule for the apartment complex in the first place, but I digress.

But the latest breaking news, which comes courtesy of Felecia Soso, is that Nosy Nick is being evicted from The Edition.

Like so many of these white folks who call the police on black folks for nothing, Nick is the one who is finding himself in hot water rather than his intended victims.

When will white people learn that in 2019, calling the police on blacks for existing isn’t going to work out in your favor because we have smartphones and we can document the bullshit that they’re trying to pull?

But more importantly, what nickname are we giving to Nick Starr-Street for his white-man-scared routine?

Kamala Harris Took Joe Biden Over Her Lap & Whooped His Butt in First Democratic Presidential Primary Debate (Night 2)

If you wanted to see a truly awe-inspiring instance of Black Girl Magic on display, then you got it Thursday night (Jun. 27) when Kamala Harris sneak-attacked Joe Biden during night two of the first Democratic Presidential Primary Debate in Miami.

For those who might have missed Biden’s controversial comments, he patted himself on the back about being able to work productively with people in Congress he disagreed with, which included segregationists.

But perhaps even more troubling, Kamala Harris went for the jugular on Biden’s previous opposition to busing black students into white schools and enforcing integration.

Kamala: “[I]t was actually very hurtful to hear you talk about the reputations of two United States senators who built their reputation and career on the segregation of race in this country. And it was not only that, but you also worked with them to oppose busing.

“And you know, there was a little girl in California who was a part of the second class to integrate her public schools, and she was bused to school every day. And that little girl was me. So I will tell you that, on this subject, it cannot be an intellectual debate among Democrats. We have to take it seriously.”

Biden: “The fact is that in terms of busing, the busing, I never — you would have been able to go to school the same exact way because it was a local decision made by your city council. That’s fine. That’s one of the things I argued for, that we should not be — we should be breaking down these lines.

“So the bottom line here is, look, everything I have done in my career, I ran because of civil rights. I continue to think we have to make fundamental changes in civil rights. And those civil rights, by the way, include not just African Americans but the LGBTQ communities.”

Kamala: “But Vice President Biden, do you agree today, do you agree today that you were wrong to oppose busing in America then? Do you agree?”

Biden: “I did not oppose busing in America. What I opposed is busing ordered by the Department of Education. That’s what I opposed.”

Kamala: “It’s a failure of states to integrate public schools in America. I was a part of the second class to integrate Berkeley, California public schools almost two decades after Brown v. Board of Education.”

Biden: “Because your city council made that decision. It was a local decision.”

Kamala: “That’s where the federal government must step in, that’s why we have the Voting Rights Act, the Civil Rights Act. That’s why we need to pass the Equality Act, it’s why we need to pass the E.R.A. Because there are moments in history where states fail to preserve the civil rights of all people.”

I mean for Joe Biden, in 2019, to argue that it’s best for STATES to determine whether black students should be integrated into schools is insane. Especially for a man who claims to be a staunch civil rights supporter.

Kamala’s personal testimony that SHE was one of those students who was bused back in the day also made the confrontation more personal than perhaps Biden was prepared for, cause homeboy looked shook while Kamala was talking.

As Kamala delivered her zingers, social media lit up to applaud her for her smooth and masterful takedown of Vice President Biden.

Y’all, I know Joe Biden was in the lead according to polls and this is just one debate, but Kamala might have just secured her spot in the next round of this primary with this exchange.

Eric Holder Shot Nipsey Hussle After the Rapper Called Him a Snitch, Holder’s Getaway Driver Testifies

The woman who drove the getaway vehicle after Eric Holder murdered Nipsey Hussle says a conversation about snitching triggered the fatal shooting that claimed the rapper’s life.

The woman, whose identity hasn’t been released, recently testified in front of a grand jury and explained what happened in the parking lot of Nipsey’s The Marathon clothing store the day the beloved rapper was killed.

According to TMZ:

The woman — only identified in court docs as Witness 1 — says she and the accused, Eric Holder, were hanging out on March 31 when they went to The Marathon Clothing strip mall to get food. She says they pulled in and recognized Nipsey … she says she was excited to see him.

According to the docs, Holder went into the burger joint to get food and she then saw him walk over to Nipsey. Holder was speaking to Nipsey and his crew for several minutes while she waited to take a selfie with him.

Witness 1 claims she saw Nipsey wave off Holder, as if he didn’t want to speak with him … but not before accusing Holder of being a snitch. She also claimed to the grand jury to have overheard Holder ask Nipsey if he ever snitched. She says Holder left the conversation and got his food from the restaurant … then they both got into the car.

The woman says Holder then instructed her to drive around the corner from the mall, and then she saw him pull out a black, semi-automatic handgun. He pulled back the slide and then asked her to go around the block so he could do a drive-by shooting. She says she refused.

She says Holder then got out of the car, put on a red shirt and instructed her not to move. He went through the alley, allegedly fired several shots at Nipsey and others and ran back to the car. She says when he got back in the car Holder had 2 guns — the black semi-automatic and also a smaller revolver. He put the 9 mm in his bag of food.

According to the docs, Witness 1 was testifying under an immunity agreement … meaning nothing she said can be used against her in any future prosecution. She has not been charged in connection with the murder.

Additionally, Nipsey’s business associate, Herman Douglas, testified for the grand jury — he was at Marathon Clothing the day of the murder, and says he and Nipsey saw Holder in the car when he drove into the strip mall. Herman says Nipsey said, “Is that Shitty (Holder’s street name)?”

Herman describes the conversation between Nipsey and Holder as non-confrontational, but he too says Nipsey told Holder he’d heard rumors about him snitching … and Nipsey advised Holder to take care of it.

Herman says Holder denied it, saying, “Motherf***ers be hating on me.” He says at the end Nipsey and Holder shook hands and parted ways with zero animosity.

Following a two-day manhunt, Eric Holder (aka “Shitty Cuz”) was arrested in the Bellflower area of Los Angeles outside a mental health facility.

The 29-year-old was charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder (for the other two men who were shot along with Nipsey), two counts of assault with a firearm and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.

Holder—who could face life in prison, if convicted—has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Stevie J & Faith Evans Spark Breakup Rumors After They Unfollow Each Other and Share Cryptic Social Media Posts

Longtime friends Stevie J and Faith Evans shocked fans when they got hitched in a quickie Vegas wedding last year. Now, many are wondering if the newlyweds have already called it quits.

Signs of possible trouble in the marriage were noticed earlier this week when Stevie and Faith unfollowed each other Instagram. This was then followed by cryptic messages they each posted on social media.

“Cherish what you love. Just know nothing will last forever,” Stevie wrote in an early morning tweet on Wednesday (Jun. 26).

In fact, he’s posted a series of early morning cryptic tweets this week, including: “All that glitters ain’t gold.”

Faith fueled flames when she shared an Albert Einstein quote.

“If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough,” she posted.

So, what’s going on between this musical couple?

Some find it interesting that the alleged rift occurred soon after the latest episode of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta in which Stevie makes a mockery of ex Mimi Faust’s current relationship and sarcastically asked her to give him a kiss during their argument.

And back in March, Stevie’s other ex, Joseline Hernandez, warned Faith to
“keep an eye” on her husband because he might call her to shoot his shot the next morning.

Joseline also called Stevie out last year for asking her to marry him even though he was with Faith at the time. She shared the alleged text message as proof, which she later deleted.

As of now, both Stevie and Faith acknowledge each other in their Instagram bios. If that changes, then we’ll really know something’s not quite right with the Jordans.

Police Believe New Orleans Rapper Kyyngg Was Shot By His Own Brother During Argument

New Orleans rapper Kyyngg was the victim of a shooting last weekend, and now police are suggesting that the man who pulled the trigger was the rapper’s own brother.

The June 21st shooting was initially described as a robbery attempt, however, the New Orleans Police Department is saying that the rapper was shot as the result of an altercation between him and his brother.

NOPD Seventh District detectives shared a photo of the person of interest in the shooting (below), and, according to online reports, the image is of the rapper’s younger brother Prynce—seen in the photo at the top of this article giving Kyyngg a kiss on the cheek.

Via NOPD News:

Through investigation, NOPD Seventh District detectives learned that at approximately 11:35 a.m., the victim and the pictured subject had a verbal altercation.

During the altercation, the victim reportedly struck the suspect to the face with a closed fist. The wanted subject then reportedly obtained a firearm that was in his waistband and fired several shots at the victim, striking the victim in the leg.

The suspect then fled the scene…

Right after the shooting, which coincidentally happened not long after Kyyngg was released from jail, the rapper took to Instagram to update his fans on his condition.

“Kids, stay away from sucker duck ass people who envy you for no reason and want what you got but don’t want to work as hard as you to get what you got,” he said from a hospital gurney.

The 23-year-old rapper, who previously said that he was just 14 years old when he joined a Bloods set in New Orleans, went viral in 2017 after rumors emerged that he was dating a transgender woman.

Illinois is Expunging Nearly 800,000 Marijuana Convictions Statewide After Legalizing Weed

If you live in Illinois and happen to have a marijuana-related conviction on your criminal background, then boy do we have some good news for you.

Now that weed is legal in Illinois, anyone who’s ever been arrested and convicted for marijuana possession in the state will now be able to get that removed from their criminal background.

Earlier this week, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker signed a bill into a law making cannabis legal in the state for people 21 and over.

And not only does the 610-page bill legalize marijuana, but it also provides relief to around 770,000 residents who have marijuana-related offenses on their criminal records.

The state’s new Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act, which takes effect in 2020, allows people to automatically receive clemency for convictions up to 30 grams of cannabis. Those convicted with larger amounts, from 30-500 grams can petition a court to have the charge lifted.

The bill defines expunge to mean to “physically destroy the records or return them to the petitioner and to obliterate the petitioner’s name from any official index or public record, or both.” But it doesn’t require the physical destruction of circuit court files.

The bill also includes a “social equity program,” which makes it easier for those with marijuana convictions to get business licenses. The program also allocates $12 million for startup businesses related to cannabis, as well as funding for job training programs in the state’s cannabis industry, the Marijuana Policy Project says.

The state’s Department of Agriculture and its community college board are creating pilot programs to get people ready to work in the newly legal industry, and the state will require them to focus on enrolling the low income students into those programs.

Illinois is the 11th U.S. state to legalize recreational marijuana and also the latest state to offer clemency for marijuana-related convictions.

According to the Marijuana Policy Project, 18 states have decriminalized marijuana so far, and 34 states in all allow patients with health problems to use medical marijuana.

Alabama Woman Shot in the Stomach While 5 Months Pregnant Charged With Unborn Baby’s Death

An Alabama woman whose unborn baby was killed in a shooting that she initiated has now been indicted in the infant’s death.

27-year-old Marshae Jones, of Birmingham, was arrested Wednesday (Jun. 26) after she was indicted by a grand jury in Jefferson County on a manslaughter charge.

Police initially charged 23-year-old Ebony Jemison with manslaughter, but her charge was dismissed after the grand jury failed to indict her.

Even though Jones was the one who was shot, police said she’s the one who initiated the dispute that led to the shooting, and that’s why she’s being charged.

According to The Birmingham News, the shooting happened in broad daylight around noon December 4th, 2018 outside a Dollar General store.

Jones was five months pregnant at the time and was shot in the stomach. The unborn baby didn’t survive.

Pleasant Grove police Lieutenant Danny Reid said the women were beefing over the unborn baby’s father.

He said the investigation revealed that it was Jones who instigated the fight at the Dollar General, and when Jemison shot her, she was acting in self-defense, which unfortunately caused the death of the unborn baby.

“The investigation showed that the only true victim in this was the unborn baby,” Lt. Reid said at the time of the shooting.

“It was the mother of the child who initiated and continued the fight which resulted in the death of her own unborn baby.”

Reid continued: “Let’s not lose sight that the unborn baby is the victim here. She had no choice in being brought unnecessarily into a fight where she was relying on her mother for protection.”

He added that the soon-to-be-born infant was “dependent on its mother to try to keep it from harm, and she shouldn’t seek out unnecessary physical altercations.”

Jones is being held at the Jefferson County Jail on $50,000 bond.

Toni & Tamar Braxton’s 24-Year-Old Niece Died From Heroin & Fentanyl Overdose, Not a Heart Condition

The cause of death for Lauren “LoLo” Braxton, the niece of Toni and Tamar Braxton who unexpectedly died in April, has been revealed to be a drug overdose.

According to the autopsy report, the 24-year-old died from an overdose of heroin and fentanyl intoxication. However, the manner in which she overdosed is still undetermined.

The medical examiner’s office in Maryland conducted the autopsy.

According to the incident report, LoLo was found unresponsive on the kitchen floor of her Maryland home by paramedics on April 29th.

She was pronounced dead on the scene. At the time of her death, it was reported that she died from a previously known heart condition.

LoLo was the daughter of Michael Braxton, the only son in the famous family. Though LoLo didn’t appear on Braxton Family Values, she was beloved by her aunts.

Tamar faced backlash when she stated on social media that she “didn’t have time” to attend her niece’s funeral. However, she clarified the statement and confirmed that she did go to the funeral.

Our thoughts are with the Braxton family during this time.

Georgia Woman Gets 125 Years in Prison After Her Baby Daddy Recorded Video of Her Shooting & Killing Him

A Georgia woman will be spending the rest of her life behind bars for shooting and killing her child’s father, which he himself recorded on his cellphone.

29-year-old Ciera Harp was sentenced to 125 years on Wednesday (Jun 26) after being found guilty of malice murder and aggravated assault.

On December 29th, 2017, authorities found Rahim Grant dead at his apartment on Lake Ridge Parkway after being shot seven times by Harp.

Harp initially told police that she shot Grant in self-defense after he attacked her with a knife, but videos found in Grant’s cell phone proved otherwise.

Grant captured video footage of himself being shot by Harp in front of their daughter.

PREVIOUSLY: Georgia Rapper Recorded Video of Himself Being Murdered by His Baby Mama

In the footage, which lasts several minutes, Grant can be heard begging Harp for water and asking to give his daughter hug.

Grant also warns Harp that she will go to jail for a long time for killing him.

Harp is heard in the video telling Grant that she doesn’t care if she spends the rest of her life in jail. “I don’t care if I go to jail for the rest of my life,” she said.

During her sentencing, Harp asked the judge for leniency in her case and blamed her decision to kill Grant due to her being drunk. She also apologized to Grant’s mother Geraldine Grant Bryson for taking her son’s life.

“I was not in my right state of mind. Had I not been drunk, it would have never happened,” Harp said in court. “Mrs. Grant Bryson, I am truly, truly sorry.”

Grant’s mother was happy about the 125-year prison sentence Harp was given and said that the whole thing still feels like bad a dream to her.

“It still feels like I’m in a dream and I can’t wake up,” Geraldine Grant Bryson told Channel 2 news.

Ms. Bryson said that Harp killed her son because he was leaving her and wanted to move on with his life.

She said she told her son, Rahim, to take his phone out and record if he ever felt in trouble, which he did before losing his life.

“I told him get the video, record it and lay the phone down,” she said.

During the court proceedings, Harp’s mother, Adrienne Thurmond, was one of the most vocal supporters of Harp receiving a serious sentence.

Thurmond asked the judge to give Harp life in prison without parole. She also called for Harp to be sterilized “to prevent any more children being born.”

Thurmond said to her daughter: “You murdered Rahim. Wherever you went chaos and trouble were sure to follow. You repeatedly hurt the family. Our family.”

Harp was said to be sneering and mouthing obscenities at her mother as she denounced her name during the trial and condemned her jealous ways.

“Your envious nature took control, and you murdered Rahim for moving on without you,” Thurmond said to her daughter.

Reginae Carter Unfollows Boyfriend YFN Lucci on Instagram After He Comments on NSFW Video

Reginae Carter and YFN Lucci’s rocky relationship may have just imploded for good, all because of some social media shenanigans.

Reginae just unfollowed Lucci on Instagram and scrubbed any trace of him from her own Gram account.

Lil Wayne’s daughter made the drastic move after her rapper boyfriend commented on an explicit video shared by Boosie Badazz.

Boosie posted an explicit video of a woman getting dirty with a cucumber and Lucci was one of the many men who had something to say, by posing an upside-down smile emoji in the comment section.

Reginae saw it and replied: “you a clown.”

Just three days ago, Reginae posted a photo of herself and Lucci boo’d up and laughing, captioning it with “mine” and a tongue emoji.

She has since deleted the cute pic and all the other photos she had with Lucci.

The couple’s relationship troubles have been chronicled on the reality show, T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle.

Though neither have confirmed a split, it’s safe to say that Reginae is not happy that her boo was appreciating another woman’s “skills.”

Google Offers Job to Black Artist Who Created Viral Juneteenth Doodle

Google is known for their Google Doodles highlighting major current events, and when the search giant failed to make one for Juneteenth, artist Davian Chester stepped in and sketched an image that quickly went viral on social media.

“I feel it’s very important for us to know as much as we can about our ancestors,” the 26-year-old told Because of Them We Can in an interview.

“So I feel Juneteenth is already something that isn’t being spread across as much as it should be. I was planning on making an art piece for it anyway, but I noticed Google did not do anything at all. And for a large company like that to create doodles for literally everything under the sun and have nothing at all today, I thought it was odd.”

Chester added: “I always wanted to create a Google Doodle anyway. So I took matters into my own hands.”

On Monday (Jun. 24), Chester revealed that Google had offered him a job.

“Google just contacted me!! They are offering me a JOB!” he said in a post on Facebook.

The rapper announced Wednesday (Jun. 26) that he has invested in the popular hat retailer Lids and now co-owns the entire company.

In addition to his ownership stake in Lids, Meek will also help oversee the company’s brand strategy and will be dropping an exclusive limited edition line of hats in August 2019 with more exclusive releases to follow.

Meek, who joins an esteemed ownership group that includes Fanatics and Ames Watson (which acquired Lids in February 2019), expressed his excitement for the new business venture in a statement.

“I’ve always been a fan of Lids. Growing up, I remember buying their hats to match my outfits and look my best,” Meek said in a press release.

The 10th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s unexpected passing (Jun. 25) came and went without much attention from mainstream media.

The allegations made in the documentary Leaving Neverland left many fans and outlets in a precarious position on how to honor the anniversary, eventually just letting the day pass with little acknowledgment.

And don’t expect Jackson’s children to make any public tributes either. A source exclusively tells Hollywood Life Prince Michael, Paris, and Blanket don’t place significance of the years of their father’s passing and choose to honor him privately by sharing stories with family and watching home videos.

In the decade since the King of Pop tragically died at the age of 54, a dark cloud has slowly encroached his legacy (possibly by his own doing) due to the longstanding allegations of pedophilia.

And Leaving Neverland—which shares two men’s experiences of being sexually abused by Jackson when they were children—may have caused the icon to be forever “canceled” for some.

In today’s “cancel culture” and the #MeToo movement, the allegations against Jackson can’t be ignored (even though he’s no longer able to defend himself).

Post-Neverland, some radio stations have pulled Jackson’s music, casual listeners have deleted his catalog from their devices, and die-hard fans—like myself—are placed in a conundrum of what to do about Michael Jackson.

Senior Yahoo! reporter and self-described “hardcore Jackson fan” Kevin Polowy explained why he couldn’t tribute the legend on the 10th anniversary of his death after forcing himself to watch Neverland.

“I’m not sure how any reasonable human being can watch Leaving Neverland and not believe Jackson was a pedophile,” he wrote.

“The film is especially traumatizing to watch as a parent. I have two young children, one around the same age as [Wade] Robson when he claims the molestation began…I can never listen to Jackson again. As a DJ, I can never spin another one of his songs. I have a visceral reaction to hearing his music now.”

Though parts of Leaving Neverland have been debunked, the damage has already been done. It contributed to the 10th anniversary of the King of Pop’s death to be just an ordinary day, except for his three children.

Jackson died in his sleep on June 25th, 2009 after a fatal overdose of propofol and benzodiazepine.

His private doctor Conrad Murray was charged with involuntary homicide for administering the fatal drug cocktail and sentenced to four years in prison.

Murray was released in 2013 after serving nearly two years of his sentence due to prison overcrowding.

Even though Fantasia is a multi-platinum artist who won her season of American Idol, she wants the world to know that she ain’t living with a silver spoon in her mouth.

Although most people would think that Fantasia’s bank accounts stay ready, Tasia had to let y’all know that she’s been broke TWICE as a celebrity so she ain’t nobody’s rich nothing.

While being interviewed by Tammi Mac on KJLH on L.A.’s KJLH, Fantasia said: “A lot of artists that you see…they look like they have it…and we smile, and we come out, and we put on a good show, but in real life, some of them are struggling. I am just now building myself up. I lost everything twice.”

“So I cook my own food. I get my own groceries. I drive myself,” she added. “If I had the money to do it, I still wouldn’t do it.”

I mean, that’s real as hell. But damn, girl. I think you make enough coins to at least get an Instacart every once in a while.

Do you really have to run down to the Aldi your damn self every time you get your frozen chicken wings and Kool-Aid mix?

As for her throwing shade at some of her peers who might be struggling with NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) fees, I don’t not believe it. But it’s a bit toothless if she’s not gonna name names.

And I’ma be nice and not point out the obvious that if you went broke or bankrupt twice, it’s probably because you never learned how to manage money.

And I also won’t go in too much about that baby daddy she picked up from the T-Mobile store, Antwaun Cook, and how that drama probably contributed to her financial ruin.

While Tasia was out here talking about cooking her own grits, picking out her own fruit and getting behind the wheel of her Toyota Corolla, she also took time to shout out Mr. Tyler Perry for having her back during her multiple low points in life.

“Tyler Perry actually is a good friend of mine. He would call and check up on me. He was one of the ones that when I lost everything, he came and blessed me. I thank him for that,” she said.

“Everything he said last night [at the BET Awards] is true. You look around, and you’ve been working for 10 years, and you’ve got all of these people on your team, and you look up, and you have no money in your bank because you’ve given it to everyone else. That is what I said when I said about prostituting a gift. You’re allowing everyone else to profit off your gift.”

Jussie Smollett Offered Abel Osundairo a “Happy Ending” Massage and Bought Lots of Drugs From Him, Texts Reveal

The never-ending saga that is the Jussie Smollett case keeps on going and going like the Energizer Bunny.

One of the main reasons this thing won’t die down is because Jussie refuses to publicly admit that he was in on the whole hoax.

But the Chicago Police Department is not letting up one damn bit and the latest batch of damning evidence the department has put forward just casts Jussie in an even more unflattering light.

We’ve already got the cringeworthy footage of Jussie wearing that noose that he (allegedly) had the brothers throw together around his neck, but now the details of some blushworthy text messages are also in the air.

The Daily Mail has the details on how Jussie awkwardly approached Abel Osundairo about getting a happy ending-style massage.

In the text messages, Jussie sounds like a giddy 12-year-old girl talking to her crush as he playfully asks Abel if he’s interested in a non-sexual massage by a man.

When Abel quickly swats down the offer of a massage by saying “I’m good with sticky fingers,” Jussie then changes his story up and claims that the masseuse he was referring to was actually a woman. It’s confusing as hell, but you can read the text messages yourself below.

My hunch is that Jussie was interested in some kind of sexual relationship with Abel and he was trying to test the waters with him to see if he could turn him out.

Once Abel rejected his offer of a “non sexual massage” by a “dude,” Jussie then pretended like he was joking and claimed that the masseuse was a woman after all.

But it doesn’t end there. Abel sees through Jussie’s gender switcheroo with the masseuse and emphasizes again that he doesn’t need any massage services.

Jussie seemingly accepts this, but then randomly texts that “This n**ga is handling life. Sucking my d*ck and it’s all good and working.”

So the masseuse that Jussie insisted was a woman is now back to being a man, and said man is apparently doing his massage with a happy ending service very well for Jussie.

There’s so much of this exchange that I want to unsee.

Abel Works Hard as Jussie’s Drug Dealer

I don’t know if this is common, but for someone who’s a personal trainer, Abel Osundairo seems to be awfully reckless when it comes to recreational drugs.

The text message records reveal that Jussie routinely hit Abel up for cocaine, molly and weed.

To be fair to Abel, maybe he was just a dealer and not a user. But damn. For someone who was an aspiring actor and active physical trainer, he sure was focusing on the wrong things!

NeNe Leakes Denies Being Forced to Sit Out of RHOA Filming Over Closet Brawl: “I Have NEVER Been Suspended”

NeNe Leakes is setting the record straight once and for all!

While sitting down for an interview on the Majic Radio Show, NeNe addressed reports that Bravo suspended her from filming the first half of the upcoming 12th season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. And according to her, the reports are untrue.

“I have never been suspended. And I am on Season 12. Thank you very much.”

NeNe also addressed rumors that she was getting her own spin-off. As far as she knows, that was also a false report.

“No, that’s not true. If I’ve gotten a spinoff, they haven’t told me yet, and I need them to tell me. I haven’t filmed a thing … If I had a spinoff, I’d be happily telling you.”

While several cast members have already started to film RHOA, NeNe has yet to shoot any scenes.

And for several weeks, it’s been reported that NeNe was forced to sit out of filming because she grabbed a cameraman during the infamous season 11 closet brawl.

“[He] got choked up, scratched up, and went to the hospital,” Porsha Williams revealed during the reunion. The cameraman also had scratches on his back and lost a tooth.

A rep eventually explained NeNe hadn’t started filming RHOA because she was still in contract negotiations.

Though NeNe didn’’ state if she had reached a deal with Bravo or reveal when she’d start filming, we still should expect the OG housewife to hold a peach when Real Housewives of Atlanta returns for its 12th season later this year.

Popular YouTube Gamer Etika Found Dead at 29 One Week After He Was Went Missing Following “Goodbye” Video

The body of popular YouTube gamer Etika (real name: Daniel Desmond Amofah) has been positively identified by New York City police nearly a week after he was reported missing.

News of Etika’s death comes nearly one week after the popular streamer uploaded a video to YouTube titled “I’m Sorry,” which shows him walking outside in New York City and saying what sounded like to many of his fans a final goodbye.

Authorities confirmed they recovered Etika’s body Monday night (Jun. 24) off Pier 16 in the East River in Lower Manhattan, about a half a mile away from the Manhattan Bridge, where Amofah was seen walking toward in his final video.

Police said while canvassing the area last Thursday (Jun. 20), they found what appeared to be some of his belongs, including his wallet, driver’s license, cell phone, and his black and red Nintendo Switch, along with with his laptop bag, which contained a pair of boxers, a shirt, shorts and headphones.

An official cause of death hasn’t been revealed, though it can be assumed that he drowned. He was 29 years old.

The NYPD released the following statement (via Kotaku):

“At approximately 18:18 hours [yesterday], police responded to a 9-11 call with a person floating in the water in the vicinity of the South Street Seaport in the confines of the 1st Precinct.

“Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive, unidentified male at that location. The NYPD harbor removed the male to Pier 16, where EMS pronounced him deceased. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing.”

Desmond “Etika” Amofah was born on May 12th, 1990 in Brooklyn, New York and began creating videos about gaming on YouTube in 2012.

Over the course of seven years, Etika amassed a dedicated fanbase of more than 800,000 followers across YouTube and Twitch, which he called the “JoyCon Boyz,” named after the Nintendo Switch controllers, according to Kotaku.

Etika had a long history with mental health issues, starting publicly last October when he self-destructed his YouTube channel and made references to suicide on Reddit, writing “It’s my turn to die” before editing his statement to say “Guys I’m fine, please stop worrying about me LOL. You know I like to be overdramatic. Carry on!!”

Just two months ago in April, he was detained by NYPD police while streaming on Instagram Live in front of 20,000 viewers after he threatened to commit suicide in his Brooklyn apartment, which resulted in him being admitted into the psychiatric ward of a hospital.

In May, Amofah got into an altercation with a cop or security guard on the street that led to another trip to the hospital.

Last week, he published an 8-minute video, which YouTube has since taken down, apparently saying goodbye to his fans.

“You know I wasn’t suicidal before—I really wasn’t,” he said in the video. “But one thing I didn’t realize was that the walls were closing around me so fast. I really had no intention of killing myself but I’d always push it too far. I guess I am mentally ill.”

He continued: “I’m sorry for leaving such a stained legacy. I hope that my story maybe helps to make YouTube a better place in the future where people know boundaries and limits and how far things should go. In an attempt to be edgy, I fucked up my entire life.”

“It was a fun life,” he added. “I had a great time. It was great. But for it to be cut so short—it’s f**ked.”

Amofah’s friends and family had been unable to get in contact with him since before the video was posted.

Wendy Williams’ Son Kevin Jr. Pleads Not Guilty to Assault Charge, Both Parents Waited Outside the Courtroom in a Car

Wendy Williams’ son appeared in court and entered his plea for the assault charge he obtained after being arrested for allegedly punching his father last month. Kevin Hunter Jr. pleaded not guilty.

Kevin Jr. appeared in the New Jersey courtroom Tuesday morning (Jun. 25) alongside his lawyer, while both of his parents reportedly waited outside in a car.

The prosecutor also asked the court for more time to “review factors in the case” and said that the case should be resolved by the next hearing. The intimation being a plea deal is on the table or that the entire case could be dismissed given that Kevin Hunter Sr. did not want to press charges.

Little Kevin was slapped with the assault charge last month after allegedly punched his father in the nose during a disagreement about his parents’ impending divorce.

Despite Kevin Sr. not wanting to press charges, Kevin Jr. was still arrested and charged because it was a domestic incident.

Following the scuffle, Big Kevin accused Williams of “brainwashing” their son against him. However, the estranged couple is attempting to put their personal issues aside for their son.

“There’s still love between us, regardless of the divorce,” Williams told a friend.

It was previously reported that Williams and Big Kev would appear in court and quietly support their son together. However, the parents opted to wait in the car and not make a spectacle after being told their presence was not necessary.

Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” Blocks Yet Another Taylor Swift Song From Going #1 on Billboard Hot 100

“Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X is the No. 1 song in the country for the 12th week in a row, and while that’s good news for him and his fans, it’s bad news for Taylor Swift and her “Swifties.”

Why is that bad news for Taylor Swift, you ask?

Well, she just released a new song and music video last week called “You Need to Calm Down,” and it debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, right under “Old Town Road.”

And this isn’t the first time this has happened. A little over a month ago, Swift’s newly released song at the time, “Me!” debuted behind “Old Town Road” at No. 2 as well.

In fact, as Chart Data points out on Twitter, the country-rap hybrid, which features a verse from Billy Ray Cyrus, has prevented six (count em: SIX!) songs from topping the Billboard Hot 100 since it first entered the chart back in April.

If “Old Town Road” manages to hold to the top spot for another four weeks, it will tie the record for most weeks at No. 1—a record jointly held by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men’s “One Sweet Day” and Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber’s “Despacito.”

Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus performed their hit single Sunday night at the 2019 BET Awards, which Miley’s daddy said was an “honor” to do.

“I’m just kinda in shock in this moment,” he told Entertainment Tonight after the performance.

“The crowd stood up and they sang every word,” Cyrus said. “I never felt a moment quite like that.”

He added: “It was just such an honor being here. And being a part of this festival and these festivities and this celebration of music. It’ll be a moment that I’ll always cherish and remember. It was very special.”

Nas—whose debut EP 7 was just released over the weekend—previously celebrated the track’s massive success by personally gifting Billy Ray with a red Maserati GranTurismo convertible, a nod to Cyrus’ line in the song where he sings “Ridin’ down Rodeo in my Maserati sports car.”

The expensive give came not too long after the pair dropped the star-studded music video for their smash hit, which you can watch below:

Chicago Police Bodycam Video Shows Jussie Smollett With Rope Around His Neck After Alleged Attack

The Chicago Police Department has released 70 hours of video footage from the Jussie Smollett investigation, including bodycam footage showing officers speaking with the “Empire” star with a rope still tied around his neck nearly an hour after he was allegedly attacked.

The video, which was blurred by police, shows Smollett’s manager leading officers into the elevator of Smollett’s building and then into his apartment, where the actor can be seen dressed in a red and white sweater with the rope still hanging from his neck.

When the cops ask Jussie if he wanted to take the rope off, he responded that he would remove the rope from his neck, but he wanted them to see it before he did to show evidence of a racially motivated attack.

Smollett also told the officers he didn’t want to be recorded once he realized they were wearing body cameras. The actor can also be heard saying that he didn’t want his neighbors to hear what’s going on and mentioned that his alleged attackers had poured bleach on him.

Another video shows Abel and Ola Osundairo—the two Nigerian-American brothers Smollett allegedly paid to stage the fake hate crime assault—riding in a taxi wearing hoodies and ski masks before arriving at the scene of the alleged attack.

And another video shows them running, presumably after the alleged attack:

The release of all of this footage comes as Chicago police have released hundreds of pages of damning evidence against the disgraced actor.

Smollett was indicted on 16 felony counts back in March for after he was accused of lying to cops about the alleged hoax attack, but those charges were eventually dropped after the actor’s defense team struck a deal with prosecutors in which Smollett would be ordered to perform community service and forfeit his $10,000 bond.

A special prosecutor will now review the case, which could lead to new charges being brought against Smollett.
