Video Shows Miami Cops Shooting at Spring Breakers Refusing to Leave Park After Coronavirus Lockdown

South Florida police are going to great lengths to get Spring Breakers to stop gathering in large crowds amid coronavirus fears.

Video footage has surfaced showing officers shooting at a group of college students who refused to leave a Miami-area park after the Miami-Dade County mayor ordered all beaches, parks and “non-essential” commercial and retail businesses to close over the COVID-19 pandemic.

The footage shows officers firing non-lethal pepper balls at young non-violent college students partying for Spring Break.

According to social media reports, the incident happened Thursday (Mar. 19) when hundreds of college students organized an impromptu “flash” party at a Miami park. Because the beaches are now closed, Spring Breakers now have to be creative if they want to party.

Police were notified about the event and quickly rushed to break up the gathering, but were very unprofessional in doing so.

In the video, the officers can be seen cursing at the young people and pushing them while being particularly aggressive towards a group of Black Spring Breakers, who they tackled to the ground and arrested for “resisting.”

At one point, one officer can be seen pulling out an automatic rifle and firing non-lethal pepper balls at the Spring Breakers.

Fortunately, it doesn’t appear anyone was seriously injured in the melee.

North Carolina Police Find 18,000 Pounds of Toilet Paper in Stolen 18-Wheeler Truck

While Americans are having trouble finding toilet paper in retail stores, police in North Carolina came across nearly 18,000 pounds of commercial bathroom paper products inside a stolen 18-wheeler truck on Wednesday (Mar. 18).

Guilford County Sheriff’s Office Deputies first spotted the truck driving on Interstate 40 in Whitsett, N.C. just outside of Greensboro.

Police said after they followed the truck to a warehouse/dock facility not far from the interstate and pulled it over, they discovered that it had been reported stolen and was being used to transport nearly 18,000 pounds of household paper products.

Captain Daryl Loftis told the Associated Press the cargo included a mixture of paper towels, toilet paper, and other commercial products, describing it as “legitimate cargo going to a legitimate place.”

This comes as stores all over the country are low or out of toilet paper because Americans have been stocking up as the nation deals with the coronavirus outbreak.

Police said because the shipment was lawful, no arrests have been made, however, the driver is a suspect in the trailer’s theft. The trailer was headed to a business in Greensboro, but Capt. Loftis said he didn’t know the name of the business and deputies helped get the truck to its intended destination.

Police said they aren’t releasing the truck driver’s name due to the topic of toilet paper being “fairly sensitive right now.”

Get Yo Kids: Teens Are Kissing & Touching Each Other’s Faces to Do Fruit Roll-Up Challenge Amid Coronavirus Scare

While the rest of us responsible adults are self-isolating and practicing social distancing in the midst of the coronavirus takeover, the younger generation for some reason just isn’t getting the memo.

Videos of teens doing a new challenge called the Fruit Roll-Up challenge has gone viral on TikTok and other forms of social media.

In the videos, the teens chew opposite ends of a Fruit Roll-Up and continue until they almost kiss. Some even kept going until their lips and faces touched, which is a big no-no right now with the coronavirus quickly spreading and affecting over 265,000 people throughout the world.

After getting some much-needed laughs and support from her fans, Ross said that she might “spill the full tea” on Instagram Live.

However, the wound is still too fresh and she decided against the IG Live session.

20-Year-Old Spanish Soccer Coach Died of Coronavirus Right After Finding Out He Had Leukemia

A 20-year-old soccer coach from Spain died from the coronavirus while also unknowingly battling leukemia, according to reports.

According to UK newspaper The Independent, Francisco Garcia—who coached a youth team at Malaga club Atletico Portada Alta—was diagnosed with leukemia after going to the hospital with COVID-19 symptoms.

The Spanish newspaper Malaga Hoy reported that the coach, who would have turned 21 in October, had been advised to seek medical attention after he started having trouble breathing.

After going to the doctor, Garcia was told that not only did he have both coronavirus and pneumonia, but he was also suffering from leukemia, which, coupled with pneumonia, greatly increased the level of risk he was exposed to after contracting COVID-19.

Pep Bueno, Atletico Portada Alta’s club president, said the hospital called him on Sunday (Mar. 15) and said Garcia was in stable condition. But within the hour, he was told that Garcia’s health had deteriorated tremendously.

“I do not believe it. It seems impossible to me,” Bueno said, according to the Independent.

Infectious disease experts said if Garcia hadn’t been suffering from leukemia, he likely would have eventually recovered from coronavirus.

Health officials have also said that the majority of deaths from coronavirus across the world have been among people who are elderly or have underlying health conditions.

Garcia’s stepfather, Juan Fernandez, told UK newspaper The Sun that Garcia thought he just had a common cold when initially fell ill on March 6th.

“He had a sore throat but he didn’t have a temperature,” Fernandez said. “His doctor told him to take paracetamol [acetaminophen] and sent him home and said there was no need to worry.”

The next day after his symptoms worsened, he went to a different doctor, and was sent home again, this time with antibiotics.

“By the next day, he couldn’t stand up properly and he had a fever,” Fernandez said. “That was the last time Irene and I saw him,” he added, referring to Garcia’s mother, Irene Gomez, who was too devasted to speak with reporters.

“We knew coronavirus was killing people — but we never thought it would kill Francis,” Fernandez told the paper.

Prior to testing positive for coronavirus, Garcia was diagnosed with pneumonia. A day later, blood work showed he also had leukemia. He died on Sunday (Mar. 15), a little over a week after he first started showing symptoms.

Fernandez said dying from COVID-19 meant he and Garcia’s loved ones were unable to see him to pay their last respects and his body was “taken to the cemetery without us being able to say goodbye to him.”

“I’m sure it was the coronavirus that took him so quickly,” Fernandez told the Sun. “We’re proof that this virus needs to be taken deadly seriously.”

He added that the whole family was “devastated and still in a state of shock.”

“A fortnight ago we were a normal family,” Fernandez said. “Now I’m stuck indoors with my wife and my mother-in-law, grieving and worrying if we’ve all got coronavirus too.”

So far, at age 20, Garcia is the youngest to die from coronavirus in Malaga.

34-Year-Old California Man Who Beat Cancer Dies of Coronavirus 2 Weeks After Visiting Disney World

A California man is making headlines after being one of the youngest people to die from the coronavirus.

34-year-old Jeffrey Ghazarian passed away Thursday morning (Mar. 19) due to the viral disease that has shaken the whole world up over the past few weeks.

Jeffrey’s death has debunked theories that young people aren’t as at risk for the virus as the older generation.

Here are some things to know about his death:

Jeffrey Ghazarian tested positive for coronavirus after visiting Disney World.

Jeffrey Ghazarian’s family told TMZ he tested positive for COVID-19 two weeks after visiting Walt Disney World and Universal Studios in Florida.

Jeffrey initially went to Orlando for a work conference and decided to stay longer to visit the popular theme parks with friends.

“Jeff flew to Orlando out of LAX for a work conference on 3/2. When he left us he was healthy. He extended his trip two days to visit DisneyWorld and Universal Studios with good friends,” his sister Lauren wrote on Facebook.

Days later, on March 7th, Jeffrey developed a cough and also began to cough up blood. He flew back to LAX on March 9th and immediately went to the ER, where doctors discovered he had pneumonia.

Jeffrey died less than a week after results came in that he had contracted the virus.

After a chest X-ray confirmed Jeffrey had pneumonia, doctors prescribed him fluids and antibiotics and sent him home to self-quarantine until his results from the coronavirus test came back.

On March 13th, Jeffrey’s results came back and he tested positive for COVID-19. He was sent back home with a portable oxygen meter.

According to TMZ, things quickly took a turn for the worse when Jeffrey’s lungs started to fail on him.

On March 14 he was taken by ambulance to the hospital and quickly transferred to the ICU when it was discovered his lungs were 60-70 percent blocked with pneumonia. Doctors decided the best path forward was to sedate and intubate, hoping a ventilator would help his lungs heal.

Doctor’s placed Jeffrey in a medically-induced coma and put him on a ventilator to help his lungs heal, but that wasn’t enough to save his life.

Jeffrey’s family claims that he was approved for an anti-viral medication, but the medication was delayed getting to him and he passed before being able to give it a try.

Jeffrey had previously beat testicular cancer.

Jeffrey’s family revealed that he had undergone surgery for testicular cancer in 2016 and actually beat the disease.

He also suffered from a host of other health problems, including asthma and bronchitis when he was a child.

Due to his health conditions, Jeffrey was at higher risk to catch the viral COVID-19 disease.

“He suffered a lot and put up a good fight. We will miss our Jeff every day, but we are thankful for all the fun, happy memories of the times we had together,” his sister Lauren said in a Facebook post.

Walt Disney World and Universal Studios have announced that they are temporarily closing due to the coronavirus.

Last week, both Orlando-based amusement parks announced that they will be closed until the end of the month to ensure the safety of their guests and staff.

Disney also announced that Disneyland in California would be shutting down too.

This comes in line with several other companies and brands revealing that they will be closing doors until the coronavirus epidemic is gotten under control.

N.C. Resident Who Attended Millennium Tour 2020 Concert in Raleigh Tests Positive for Coronavirus

A North Carolina resident who attended the Millennium Tour 2020 at PNC Arena in Raleigh last Friday (Mar. 13) has tested positive for COVID-19 aka coronavirus.

The individual, who is from Wake County, was reportedly at the concert from 8:20 p.m. to midnight and was symptomatic while attending the event.

No information about the person, including their age or gender, has been released.

WNCN reports that the person had floor seats in Section 5, but moved throughout the crowd during the show.

“Because the crowd was so mobile, it would be very difficult to determine who came within six feet of the affected person for 10 minutes or more,” Wake County Medical Director Dr. Kim McDonald said. “If you went to the show and spent time on the floor, you may be at risk of exposure.”

The Wake County Public Health Division has set up a special hotline for people who attended the show or worked at PNC Arena on March 13th. The phone number affected Wake County residents have been asked to call is 919-857-9375.

Wake County is also sending out e-mails to anyone who bought tickets to the concert to inform them about the situation and advise them on the next steps.

At this time, county officials are saying that anyone who was at PNC Arena outside of the aforementioned timeframe wasn’t at risk of contracting COVID-19.

The Millennium Tour 2020 features headliners Omarion and Bow Wow, as well as supporting acts Ashanti, Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd, Sammie, Pretty Ricky and Soulja Boy.

In response to circumstances surrounding COVID-19, show promoters have rescheduled upcoming tour dates.

Detroit Teen Guilty of 1st-Degree Murder After Shooting 2 Gay Men & a Trans Woman at House Party for Being LGBTQ

A 19-year-old Detroit man has been convicted of the slaying of two gay men and one transgender woman at a house party last year.

Devon Robinson was found guilty of first-degree premeditated murder, assault with intent to murder, and felony firearm on Tuesday (Mar. 17).

Robinson shot and killed Alunte Davis, 21, Timothy Blancher, 20, and Paris Cameron, 20, after a house party in May 2019 that was attended by 15 people.

Davis and Blancher were both gay men, and Cameron was a transgender woman.

Prosecutors and police believe Robinson targeted the three because of their sexual orientation and gender identity.

Robinson met the three victims at a gas station earlier that night and Cameron invited him to the party. An employee at the gas station told Robinson the three friends were LGBTQ.

Robinson walked to the location of the party and video footage shows him pacing outside before entering the house party.

Witness Clifton Keys testified that Robinson was “hugged up” with Cameron while at the party. But he left with a “blank” look on his face.

“I couldn’t tell what was going on in his head,” Keys said. “I couldn’t tell if he was happy, sad or mad. [His face] was blank.

Robinson left the party and returned with a gun. He opened fire, shooting upwards of 20 bullets.

Davis, Blancher, Cameron were all shot while in the living room. Two other people were also shot, but they survived their wounds.

Keys said there was so much blood that it was seeping through the walls.

The special prosecutor of the case argued that Robinson targeted Davis, Blancher, and Cameron because they were LGBTQ. However, Robinson called the accusations “a fanciful theory.”

Robinson will be sentenced on April 13th. He faces a life sentence without the possibility of parole.

The FBI reports that crimes against the LGBTQ community are on the rise, particularly crimes against people for their gender identity.

The Human Rights Campaign also notes that trans women of color are at a higher risk of violence than others within the LGBTQ community.

“The epidemic of hate violence that targets people of color and LGBTQ people, particularly Black trans people, is an urgent crisis,” said Sarah McBride of HRC in a statement.

“Our policymakers and leaders must do more to ensure the safety and dignity of every person in our country.”

S.C. Man Arrested for Arson, Attempted Murder After Shooting Up Baby Mama’s House & Setting It on Fire Because She Wouldn’t Let Him See Daughter

A South Carolina man is facing major charges after he shot up his baby mama’s house and set it on fire.

33-year-old Johnathan Ahren Emilien was wanted by police for arson and attempted murder, but has since been arrested.

Fountain Inn Police Chief Michael Hamilton said they responded to a call from the area Tuesday (Mar. 17) around 9:30 p.m. in regards to a victim suffering from a gunshot wound and a home that was on fire.

The condition of the gunshot wound victim hasn’t been revealed by officials, but Chief Hamilton says they were treated at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Emilien was on the run as of Wednesday, but Fountain Inn Police confirmed early Thursday morning that he’d been apprehended in Mississippi.

Here are some things you need to know about Johnathan Ahren Emilien and the recent events that took place.

Days before the incident, Johnathan posted videos of him arguing with his baby mama on social media.

https://www.facebook.com/yung.emilien.7/videos/193734432064819/

Johnathan shared several videos of him going and back and forth with his baby mama over their daughter Salana.

In one of the videos, Johnathan accuses his baby mama, Monique, of not allowing him to see his child because he’d stopped paying her bills.

Monique reveals in the video that Johnathan broke a window into her home to confront her about seeing their child.

Johnathan captioned the video:

“I want my own house and everyone’s mad at me because they want money from me. I stopped paying bills and started only buying for Salana. Now I got the whole family mad. How can you be mad because I want my own. NOW SHE THREATENING NOT TO LET ME SEE MY CHILD. BITTER. I WANT MY OWN HOME. Women hate independent men that don’t need them for sh*t.”

On Wednesday, March 11th, Johnathan posted a video of him first telling his baby mama Monique she’s being vindictive towards him and then spends the rest of the video talking to his infant baby girl and telling her that he loves her and will always be in her life no matter what.

https://www.facebook.com/yung.emilien.7/videos/193749272063335/

He captioned the footage: “This is an old video. I’m posting all because I know they will slander me with my child.”

Police responded to reports of a gunshot wound victim and a residence that was set on fire on Tuesday evening (March 17) on Lakeview Drive in Fountain Inn.

It was later revealed that Johnathan Ahren Emilien was responsible for the horrible crime and was wanted by authorities. He was considered armed and dangerous.

The gunshot victim’s condition is unknown, but they were treated at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Some on social media were saying the gunshot wound victim was the mother of Johnathan’s baby mama (his child’s grandmother), however, we haven’t been able to verify that information.

According to Fox Carolina, the Red Cross announced Wednesday (Mar. 18) that they were assisting five adults and one child who were affected by the residential fire.

https://www.facebook.com/LaurensCountySheriff/photos/a.259116144517883/874409242988567/?type=3&theater

Fountain Inn Police confirmed via social media early Thursday morning that Emilien had been arrested.

Chief Hamilton said authorities in Mississippi took Emilien into custody late Wednesday night. He was charged with arson and five counts of attempted murder.

Hamilton said Thursday that all five victims were doing OK.

Following the crimes he committed, Johnathan posted videos of him on the run and speaking on how he’s not going down without a fight.

https://www.facebook.com/yung.emilien.7/videos/198755851562677/

In a video posted hours after the shooting and arson, Johnathan said he was not going to turn himself in to police until he sees his daughter.

Johnathan also said he would kill his baby mama and her friends and family over his daughter.

“Before my daughter thinks I left her, I will annihilate you motherf*ckers,” he said.

In one of his last video posts, Johnathan admits to firing bullets into his baby mama’s home and setting the house on fire. But he makes it clear next time, he won’t miss.

“I set their whole sh*t on fire, and as soon as they opened the door, I went to letting bullets off in that b**ch,” he said. “I’m gonna kill them b**ches. Only person that’s gonna live is Salana.”

Johnathan said he went back to the crime scene the next day and saw police there, but they didn’t notice him.

He also said he was going to finish the job and kill his baby mama Monique and her family.

“I missed last night. I’m not gonna miss again. And I’m going to kill y’all. I’m already wanted for it, so I’m telling you what I’m going to do.”

Johnathan also named several of his baby mama’s friends and made it clear if she tries to hide from him, everyone she knows will die.

Tori Spelling Apologizes After Getting Dragged for Dressing 8-Year-Old Daughter As Woman Named “McQuisha”

Social distancing is getting some of these celebrities caught up with their social media antics.

Shortly after Vanessa Hudgens was dragged for making light of the deaths caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Tori Spelling was dragged after posting an offensive image and caption of her daughter on Instagram.

Spelling posted a photo of her 8-year-old daughter Hattie wearing a green handkerchief on her head and Cheetos attached to her fingers as long fingernails.

The actress explained the image:

“Days kept inside we have to get creative… Hattie has become McQuisha in her Cheeto extension nails!”

For obvious reasons, many felt the post was racist and proceeded to drag the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star and mother of five.

On Wednesday (Mar. 18), Spelling wrote that she was “truly sorry” for the offensive post and explained image was an homage to Hattie’s love of the 90s sitcom, Martin, and her favorite character, Sheneneh.

“I posted a story the other day that upset many of you. I’m truly sorry. That was NOT the intention at ALL.

“Hattie is 8. We watch and adore old reruns of Martin. She loves the character Shanaynay. She made up that name with “Mc” bc her last name is McDermott. She was reenacting the over the top fun and amazing character from Martin.

“She is innocent and didn’t mean anything by it. I should have thought about how it could have been perceived and misconstrued before I posted. I did not. I’m truly sorry.”

First of all, if Sheneneh was really the inspiration for Spelling’s post, why not just say that in the original caption and truly pay the homage the wanted?

And who is Quisha, and why does she need a “Mc” in front of her name?

This Martin explanation may be genuine, but it’s definitely coming off as a quick damage control excuse.

Regardless of how it came about, we now know that Tori Spelling is out here playing racist dress-up with her kids and giving them stereotypical black women names and personas to reenact for funsies.

Do better, Donna Martin.

Judge Overturns Verdict That Ruled Katy Perry Stole Music From Christian Rapper Marcus Gray

Katy Perry has reason to make a joyful noise at the moment. A judge has overturned a jury’s verdict that found the singer stole music from a Christian rap artist.

U.S District Judge Christina Snyder overturned the verdict earlier this week, citing that the disputed sections of Perry’s “Dark Horse” and Marcus Gray’s “Joyful Noise” were not distinctive enough to be protected by copyright.

Snyder wrote:

“It is undisputed in this case, even viewing the evidence in the light most favorable to plaintiffs, that the signature elements of the eight-note ostinato in ‘Joyful Noise’ is not a particularly unique or rare combination.”

In August, a jury awarded Gray—whose stage name is Flame—and his co-writers $2.78 million. The jury also found that Gray was entitled to 22.5 percent of the “Dark Horse” profits.

Perry and her co-writers, which include Dr. Luke and Max Martin, would all contribute to the amount. Perry was ordered to personally pay $550,000.

“When the jurors returned a unanimous verdict of infringement, I cautioned my clients that we had only finished Round 11 of a 15-round match and that the next round would take place in the court of appeals,” Gray’s attorney said in a statement after Snyder overturned the verdict.

“We believe the jury was right and will do our best to restore their verdict on appeal.”

Gray’s “Joyful Noise” was released in 2009. Perry and her co-writers testified in court that they had never heard of the song when “Dark Horse” was released in 2013 and spent four weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100.

Gray first sued Perry in 2014 and was seeking $20 million.

Oprah Shuts Down Wild Rumor She Was Arrested for Sex Trafficking, Adding to Her Rough 2020

It’s not been a great 2020 for Oprah so far. And it doesn’t seem to be getting any better with the latest mess she’s been dragged into.

Oprah’s name began trending earlier Tuesday morning (and continues to trend) after a wild rumor that the media mogul had been arrested for sex trafficking started to spread on the internet.

According to the rumor, Oprah’s estate in Boca Raton, Florida was raided by police and led to the 66-year-old’s arrest for sex trafficking.

The rumor was so outrageous and gained so much traction, that Oprah personally addressed it on Twitter.

“Just got a phone call that my name is trending. And being trolled for some awful FAKE thing. It’s NOT TRUE. Haven’t been raided, or arrested,” she wrote.

The rumor was apparently started within QAnon, a far-right conspiracy theory that believes there is a secret plot to overthrow Donald Trump.

The conspiracy theory is fueled by “Q,” a person who supposedly works in the Trump administration and has access to classified information.

They have falsely accused several liberal Hollywood celebrities and Democratic politicians and political figures of child sex trafficking, plotting against Trump, and other crimes.

“Oprah has worked for decades of behalf of others,” defended director Ava DuVernay. “Shame on all who participated in this.”

So far in 2020, Oprah has faced criticism for picking a controversial book for her monthly book club, forced to leave a #MeToo documentary focusing on Russell Simmons, best friend Gayle King was dragged for mentioning Kobe Bryant’s rape case shortly after his death, and plus she fell onstage while ironically discussing balance during her wellness tour.

Connecticut Dad Charged With 1st-Degree Murder After Allegedly Shaking Infant Son to Death in 2018

A father was just arrested on first-degree murder charges in connection to the death of his infant son in 2018.

Rashaad Ratchford, 25, turned himself in Connecticut authorities earlier this month after a warrant had been issued for his arrest for the death of his son who died after being violently shaken.

Ratchford faces charges of first-degree murder and risk of injury to a child. He remains in jail with a bond set at $250,000.

Assistant Chief of Investigations Karl Jacobson said in a statement:

“Although it is important not to re-victimize a family that loses a child, in this case Detective Leonardo Solo and other members of the Special Victims Unit used their diligence and fought for justice for the child who no longer had a voice in the matter.”

Ratchford’s infant son was hospitalized in October 2018, suffering from severe brain injuries caused from being violently shaken. He was pronounced dead the next day.

Police conducted an investigation into the death that included search warrants, forensic tests, and numerous interviews. The investigation led to Ratchford in February.

Though he turned himself in, Ratchford pled not guilty. His next court date is March 31st.

Rapper Eric B.’s Daughter, Erica Barrier, Dead At 28 After Being Rear-Ended by 18-Wheeler Truck

Rapper legend Eric B. is mourning today after his 28-year-daughter, Erica Barrier, tragically passed away.

Erica sustained serious injuries after being rear-ended by an 18-wheeler truck on a Connecticut highway on Sunday (Mar. 15).

Eric’s publicist confirmed his daughter’s death in a statement Tuesday (Mar. 17).

“She fought a valiant fight, however we trust God & His ultimate decision to bring her home. We want to sincerely thank everyone from around the world for the outpouring of support and love during this difficult time. Please continue to keep our family in prayer as we now prepare to lay Erica to rest.”

The statement went on to express compassion for the driver that rear-ended Erica, with the family understanding the crash was a tragic accident.

“This was an unfortunate vehicular accident that claimed her life however, and it’s also crucial that we pray for the other driver involved. Our hearts also go out to him and his family as we hold no ill will in our hearts for those involved. Again, we accept GOD’s will and want to sincerely thank the good samaritans, first responders and impeccable medical staff who cared for our daughter at Hartford Hospital, Hartford CT.”

Earlier today, Eric B. shared a video of his daughter as he welcomed her onstage. He captioned the post simply with a heart emoji.

Eric B.’s music partner, Rakim, also expressed his condolences on social media.

“Deepest of condolences to my brother Eric B. and all of the extended family… his daughter Erica passed on after sustaining injuries in an automobile accident,” he wrote on Facebook.

“Erica was the brightest of stars and while we miss her physical form greatly, we will celebrate her life and her energy eternally. Please put a blessing in the air.”

According to an accident report, Erica was driving her Mini Cooper Countryman on I-91 at 1 a.m. on Sunday. She stopped in the center lane and the driver of the oncoming truck was unable to properly break in time.

Erica sustained serious injuries and was taken to Hartford Hospital. The driver of the eighteen-wheeler was unharmed.

Yung Berg Says Woman Who Accused Him of Pistol-Whipping Her Set Him Up for Home Invasion Robbery & He Acted in Self-Defense

Yung Berg aka Hitmaka is responding to allegations that he pistol-whipped his “girlfriend,” saying that the woman in question is, in fact, NOT his girlfriend and he actually acted in self-defense after learning that she’d set him up to be robbed.

As was previously reported, the rapper/producer, whose real name is Christian Ward, was under investigation by the LAPD for allegedly violently assaulting a woman during a fight early Saturday morning (Mar. 14) in his Los Angeles home.

The police report, originally obtained by The Blast, stated that Ward and the woman got into a verbal dispute before Berg hit her several times with a pistol.

The woman reported the incident to the LAPD and was admitted to Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, where she was diagnosed with a “closed head injury, closed fracture of nasal bone, and facial lacerations” that required “several stitches.” She also shared photos showing off her injuries.

But apparently, there are two sides to the story, and Hitmaka took to Instagram Tuesday (Mar. 14) to tell his via a statement from his attorneys.

According to the statement from Hitmaka’s lawyers, there was no domestic dispute, but rather a “planned and coordinated home invasion robbery and assault.”

Hitmaka’s attorneys said a couple of armed robbers were apparently working with the alleged victim, whose name is Talia Tilley, and she’d been communicating with them throughout the night and also sent them her location to coordinate the robbery and assault.

Hitmaka also made it a point to note that Tilley is NOT, nor has she ever been, his girlfriend, but they were acquaintances, as she’d been to his house in the past.

Hitmaka said he first grew suspicious after Tilley suggested they get in the hot tub together, even though it was 4 a.m. and 50 degrees outside.

He said while he declined Tilley’s request to get in the hot tub, the two did share an intimate moment, at which point Tilley “made a calculated, unprovoked attack” on him, “slapping and punching him repeatedly,” the statement read, adding that he defended himself against the attack.

As Hitmaka was being assaulted, the security alarm for his back door went off, and two armed assailants were captured on his Ring doorbell camera jumping the fence into his backyard, while a third suspect acted as a lookout.

Fortunately, the robbers weren’t able to get into the house because the back door was secured by a heavy chain with a lock.

After the robbers realized they weren’t going to be able to get in through the back door, they tried to kick open his front door, but were still unable to get into the house.

Hitmaka said he later went through Tilley’s phone, and saw that she’d been communicating with and sharing her location with an unknown person who was calling and texting her before, during and after the attempted home invasion robbery.

The statement concluded: “Mr. Ward has provided this information and material, including videos and phone records, to the Los Angeles Police Department in the hopes that the perpetrators may be captured and brought to justice.”

In addition to the statement from his lawyers, Hitmaka also posted a personal statement as well as some of the surveillance footage and screenshots showing two of the suspects’ faces.

“On Saturday 4:30am three gunmen made an attempt on my life & home invasion,” he wrote on Instagram. “I have all the surveillance footage which some I’m posting & also other evidence needed. I retained legal [counsel] & decided that with this matter which I’m totally traumatized about that I must let the truth out as media outlets without having proper info are attempting to stain my character and reputation that I have spent my entire life building.

He continued: “I could’ve been murdered inside my home on Saturday & I would like to take this time & thank all of my family, friends, & colleagues who have reached out regarding the matter sending love and positive energy.

“This footage is very alarming to all my fellow people in music & living in los [angeles] area pls be safe and monitor who you allow in your home. I made a crucial mistake which could’ve costed my life THIS WOMAN WAS NOT MY GF EVER. I won’t dive further into this & will let my lawyers move forward accordingly. Pls stay safe amidst these tragic times not only for myself but the entire world.”

NeNe Leakes Says She & Gregg Have An “Understanding” Just Days After It Was Reported They Have An Open Marriage (VIDEO)

NeNe Leakes’ marriage to Gregg Leakes has been under a microscope for the past few days, and the reality star did a bad job at trying to shift the focus.

Last week, we reported that NeNe caught Gregg having a “inappropriate conversations” with one of her employees and now the couple has an open marriage.

In Sunday’s episode (Mar. 15) of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, NeNe gave her castmates advice on how to weather the storm after their significant other cheats.

“Just because a man cheats, doesn’t mean he’s a bad man,” she said. “That’s when your communication needs to be real hardcore.”

During the RHOA After Show, producers wanted to make sure NeNe and Gregg were OK. But NeNe’s revelation that they have an “understanding” only made things even more vague.

“Gregg and I have been together for a really, really long time and we are family for real. We’re just not gonna be apart, we do have an understanding. We have a great understanding.”

“Our understanding, we see each other. That’s all I can tell you,” she continued.

When producers pointedly asked if their “understanding” allowed them to see other people, NeNe remained coy.

“If we did, we wouldn’t tell you,” she said.

NeNe was emphatic that she and Gregg love each other and are “committed to staying married,” adding that they most likely won’t be getting divorced again.

She also said that she wants to make sure Gregg will always be on her “great” health insurance because of his health issues.

Gregg battled colon cancer last year and the illness unexpectedly put a strain on their marriage; the two even contemplating divorce.

More of their marital woes will be seen on RHOA later this season. In promos, NeNe actually prods Gregg on his thoughts about open relationships.

NeNe Gregg married in 1997 and have one child together. They divorced in 2011, but remarried in 2013.

O.T. Genasis Shares First Photo of Newborn Son Ace Flores With Ex-Girlfriend Malika Haqq

Say hello to Malika Haqq and O.T. Genasis’ newborn son Ace Flores!

Malika announced Monday that she’d given birth over the weekend (Sat, Mar. 14), posting an adorable photo on Instagram showing the infant’s tiny fingers resting in her and O.T.’s hands. She captioned the pic: “Ace Flores 3.14.2020.”

But O.T. took the birth announcement a step further by releasing the first photo showing off the newborn’s face … and he looks just like his daddy!

Ace is Haqq’s first child and O.T.’s second.

O.T. has another son from a previous relationship named Genasis, who will celebrate his 10th birthday on March 24th.

Malika first announced her pregnancy back in September 2019, but initially chose not to disclose the child’s father.

“I have always wanted to be a mother and it’s still a little bit surprising but I’m overjoyed!” she told People at the time. “I’m a very emotional person anyway, but this is another heightening of emotion … I feel really good about where I am in my life being pregnant now.”

While it was widely speculated that O.T. was the father, Malika confirmed the rumors at her baby shower back in February, which was thrown by her longtime best friend Khloe Kardashian.

“I’m incredibly thankful to Odis Flores for my little boy,” Haqq said of her ex-boyfriend in her speech.

The rapper also confirmed the news on Instagram, sharing a photo from the event and captioning it: “My son on da way … Give me a baby name now … GO!!!”

Despite Malika and O.T. no longer being romantically involved, they are both committed to being the best co-parents for their son.

“Relationships don’t always work out the way we would hope but between love & friendship we have created a baby boy that will be here very soon,” Malika shared on Instagram back in February after her baby shower.

“I’ve been single the last 8 months but I am in no way alone. OT and I have attended every doctors apt and over all loved on our son together while anticipating his arrival.

“My priority over the past few months has been to nurture and protect my unborn child. Our baby would not be who he is without his father and I thank God for the spirit that grows inside of me. Only thing that matters, we are Baby Flores parents.”

Charlamagne Contemplating Quitting ‘The Breakfast Club,’ Has “A Lot of Other Potential Deals in the Air”

After 10 years of co-hosting The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne Tha God just may be ready to step away from the popular radio show.

Charlamagne’s contract is set to end in December 2020, and it’s unclear if he will resign. In fact, a source tells Page Six that Charlamagne has “a lot of other potential deals in the air.”

“He loves working for [Power 105.1 parent company] I Heart Radio, but he is contemplating his next move. He’s not sure what he is going to do…he just wants to keep his options open and think strategically.”

Speculation that Charlamagne was thinking of exiting TBC first arose last week during an interview with NeNe Leakes of Real Housewives of Atlanta.

When discussing if NeNe was leaving the reality show, Charlamagne reluctantly admitted that he had already “mentally quit” in regards to TBC and noted the end of his contract is near.

Rumors of Charlamagne’s exit comes at an interesting time because his relationship with co-hosts DJ Envy and Angela Yee has been strained recently.

During the same interview with NeNe, Envy said Charlamagne can be “disrespectful at times” and Yee has been very vocal about her issues with her colleague.

Last year, Yee and Charlamagne unfollowed each other after Charlamagne failed to defend her in his one-on-one interview with Gucci Mane, in which the rapper called her a “punk-ass bitch.”

The two radio hosts have made it clear they are not friends and have no personal relationship outside of TBC.

In its 10-year history, The Breakfast Club has become an influential platform for hip-hop and urban artists, and a must-stop for politicians seeking the Black vote during election cycles.

San Francisco Going on 24-Hour Lockdown for Three Weeks Due to Coronavirus Pandemic

San Francisco Mayor London Breed confirmed at a press conference Monday (Mar. 16) that, much like Italy, the entire city will be placed on a mandatory lockdown for THREE weeks starting at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday morning in an extreme effort to help curb the spread of the coronavirus.

Officials say that residents in Six Bay Area counties can only leave home for doctor’s appointments or grocery store runs due to the “shelter-in-place” order, which is the strictest measure of its kind in the country.

Residents are being told to stay inside their homes and away from others as much as possible over the next three weeks as public health officials work to combat the rapidly spreading COVID-19 virus.

“The new public health order that we’re announcing will require San Franciscans to remain at home, with exceptions only for essential outings,” Mayor Breed said. “These measures will be disruptive to day-to-day life, but there is no need to panic.”

“Essential government services like our police, our fire [department], our transit, and sanitation will continue,” the mayor assured. “Your garbage will be picked up. Police officers will be out there on the front line.”

“Grocery stores, pharmacies, banks and gas stations will remain open,” Mayor Breed added. “Restaurants will be open for take-out only. But non-essential stores like bars and gyms will close effective midnight tonight.”

From the San Francisco Chronicle:

The directive begins at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday and involves San Francisco, Santa Clara, San Mateo, Marin, Contra Costa and Alameda counties — a combined population of more than 6.7 million. It is to stay in place until at least April 7. Three other Bay Area counties — Sonoma, Solano and Napa — were not immediately included.

The order falls just short of a full lockdown, which would forbid people from leaving their homes without explicit permission. The order calls for county and city sheriffs or police chiefs to “ensure compliance,” and local authorities said they would not “rush to enforce” the directives as residents adjusted to understand what activities are no longer allowed.

“We were seeing a tipping point here in Santa Clara County with exponential growth of our cases,” said Dr. Sara Cody, health officer for Santa Clara County, at a news conference Monday. The county has 138 cases as of Monday — an increase of 24 overnight.

“Over the weekend, I had a discussion with fellow health officers in the Bay Area and we realized that we are one region, and that what’s happening in Santa Clara County today will soon be happening in the adjacent jurisdictions. We decided collectively we need to stake swift action as soon as possible to prevent further spread.”

“These orders were crafted with great thought and with great care,” Cody said. “They were also crafted very, very quickly.” She said residents would get more information over the coming days as to what exactly is expected of them — but the priority is to stay inside and away from others.

The local “shelter-in-place” order will be in effect until at least Tuesday, April 7th, and Mayor Breed said that it can be amended, lengthened, or shortened as new information is made available.
