Tekashi 6ix9ine Signs $10 Million Record Deal From Prison, Believes Snitching Won’t Affect His Rap Career

Tekashi 6ix9ine doesn’t even have a solid release date from prison, and yet he’s already signed a multi-million record deal while behind bars. Or at least that’s what TMZ is reporting.

According to TMZ, Snitch9ine has inked a record deal worth over $10 million with his former label 10K Projects.

Once the controversial rapper is released from prison, which could be as early as next month when he’s formally sentenced, he’ll release two albums—one in in English and one in Spanish.

Tekashi was facing a minimum of 47 years for firearms and racketeering charges, but snitched on his former gang members to reduce his sentence. He even outed Cardi B, Jim Jones and Trippie Redd as gang members.

It remains to be seen if being publicly labeled and mocked as a snitch during his high-profile trial will have any effects on any music he releases in the near future. (Or his life.)

However, Tekashi is reportedly not worried about all of that, because sources close to him say that he’s under the impression that him testifying against his old gang members—Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack—will be a long-forgotten afterthought once he’s released from prison. (Spoiler Alert: It won’t, but we’ll let this guy live in his fantasy land.)

Sources close to his legal team also told the New York Daily News that the rapper doesn’t consider what he’s doing as “snitching” because he just met those guys back in 2017 and they’re not his day ones.

“It’s not like he ratted out on his homeboys he knew since he was 3 years old,” the source told the newspaper. “He barely knew them.”

Tekashi is so confident that his rap career won’t be affected by his snitching (which, again, he believes isn’t really snitching) that he’s already reportedly setting up studio time to prepare for his post-prison comeback.

“It looks like he will be making music right away when he comes home,” a music insider told Page Six. “He already contacted a young NYC producer, and someone purchased two beats for him.”

Other sources told TMZ that Tekashi also plans to forgo witness protection and use his own security instead. The insiders said the rapper is “still itching to make new music, and believes he can pick up where he left off.”

Jason Weaver Explains Why He Turned Down $2 Million Check to Do “Lion King” & Took Royalties Instead

With renewed interest in The Lion King, have you been wondering what Jason Weaver has been up to? Don’t worry, the actor/singer is sitting quite comfortably, thanks in part to his working in the original Lion King film.

Weaver—who provided the singing voice for Young Simba—revealed in a recent VladTV interview that Disney offered him a flat $2 million to do the film. However, he turned down that offer because his mom was looking at the bigger picture.

“That amount of money, to an average middle-class family in Chicago in the early 90s, I mean … that’s something. But immediately, my mom goes, ‘Wait a minute,'” he shared.

“Disney had a reputation for re-releasing stuff…so she [Weaver’s mother] was able to see the playing field and go, ‘Wait a minute, this is going to make a lot of money over time, so what happens when my son turns 40? Is he going to be able to get a check for this when they eventually re-release this?'”

Weaver ultimately rejected the $2 million check and accepted $100,000, plus a share of royalties in perpetuity.

It turned out to be one of his best business decisions ever.

25 years later, Weaver, who just turned 40, says he has made well over the two million he was initially offered due to the massive box-office hit and the popular Lion King franchise.

“They got the Animal Kingdom in Disney World that’s themed off The Lion King. They got dolls and T-shirts and video games. I mean I got a platinum plaque for a storybook that they released that was really just a storybook with my song in it.”

“When I got my first royalty check, me and my mom thought it was a mistake,” he added. “Shout out to my mother…She was absolutely right. That residual income that I generate, that is so helpful.”

Jason Mitchell Receiving Mental Health Treatment Following Multiple Sexual Misconduct Allegations

After facing several sexual misconduct allegations that ultimately led to major career consequences, Jason Mitchell is reportedly seeking mental and personal health treatment.

A source exclusively revealed to The Shade Room that the embattled actor recently completed a mental health course in connection to the allegations his industry colleagues have lobbied against him.

Mitchell began with a doctor in his hometown of New Orleans in May. The source says he had worked on anger management, self-awareness, acceptance of responsibility, and purpose.

Earlier this year, Mitchell was fired from his lead role on The Chi, an upcoming Netflix movie, and dropped by his talent agency after several incidents of sexual misconduct came to light.

His Chi co-star and onscreen girlfriend, Tiffany Boone, felt so uncomfortable with him on-set that she refused to shoot scenes with him and often brought her real-life boyfriend to set as protection.

She complained to producers about Mitchell’s behavior and was released from her contract—by her own request—to pursue other projects.

A showrunner for the Showtime drama also came forward to reveal that she, too, was a “target of [Mitchell’s] inappropriateness” and reported him to HR. She also asserted that everyone involved with the show was “well aware of Jason’s behavior.”

Mitchell remained silent as the fallout of his alleged behavior unfolded. However, he released a statement on the situation in August via Instagram. He wrote:

“To everyone commenting without any knowledge of what’s going please stop…and to all my supporters I appreciate you all and I’m sorry I will no longer be in (“The Chi”)..but don’t believe what you read in the media.”

And if The Shade Room’s source is correct, we now know that this statement was made around the time he began treatment.

Rihanna Says She “Absolutely” Turned Down the Super Bowl to Support Colin Kaepernick: “I Just Couldn’t Be a Sellout”

Much like her mentor Jay-Z, Rihanna said no to the Super Bowl last year … and now she’s confirming the reports that she declined an offer to perform in support of Colin Kaepernick.

In her cover story interview for Vogue magazine’s November 2019 issue, Rihanna was asked about her decision to not perform the Super Bowl halftime show.

Here’s an excerpt (via Vogue.com):

I ask Rihanna if we can discuss politics. “How deep you wanna get?” she says. “However deep you’re willing to go,” I say.

She signals that I may proceed, and I ask if it’s true that she turned down the Super Bowl halftime show in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick.

“Absolutely,” she says. “I couldn’t dare do that. For what? Who gains from that? Not my people. I just couldn’t be a sellout. I couldn’t be an enabler. There’s things within that organization that I do not agree with at all, and I was not about to go and be of service to them in any way.”

There you have it. Rihanna is definitely with Kap!

Politics aside, Rihanna also talked about her highly anticipated forthcoming album, which would be her first project since 2016’s Anti.

“I have been trying to get back into the studio,” she said. “It’s not like I can lock myself in for an extended amount of time, like I had the luxury of doing before. I know I have some very unhappy fans who don’t understand the inside bits of how it works.”

Rihanna described her next, currently untitled album, which the Navy (her fans) are calling “R9” for now (it will be her ninth) as “reggae-inspired or reggae-infused.”

“It’s not gonna be typical of what you know as reggae. But you’re going to feel the elements in all of the tracks,” she said.

“It doesn’t matter how far or long removed I am from that culture, or my environment that I grew up in; it never leaves. It’s always the same high,” she added.

“Even though I’ve explored other genres of music, it was time to go back to something that I haven’t really homed in on completely for a body of work.”

Rihanna refused to give a possible release date when asked, and with good reason. Her fans are “scary,” as she put it in her own words.

When I ask about a release date, Rihanna’s face morphs into a grimace, equal parts amusement and terror.

“No, oh my God, they’re gonna kill you for that” she exclaims. “And they’re going to kill me more!”

It is so strange to see @badgalriri exhibit any sort of emotion categorizable as fear that for a moment I have no clue who she’s talking about. Wait—Vogue? Your record company? The international reggae police?

“I’m talking the Navy—my scary fans,” Rihanna clarifies. “But they’ve earned it,” she is quick to add. “They got me here.”

Rihanna is a very busy woman these days with multiple businesses (Her Fenty brand alone is POPPIN’ POPPIN’), and fans worry that music has become an afterthought for her.

But they needn’t worry, Rihanna says.

Does any part of Rihanna foresee a day when she might decide that, in fact, there will be no more music?

“Oh, nooo,” she says. “Music is, like, speaking in code to the world, where they get it. It’s the weird language that connects me to them. Me the designer, me the woman who creates makeup and lingerie—it all started with music.

“It was my first pen pal–ship to the world. To cut that off is to cut my communication off. All of these other things flourish on top of that foundation.”

Black Judge Tries to Explain Why She Hugged the White Cop That Killed Botham Jean & Gave Her a Bible

The black judge who seemingly broke courthouse norms to hug a convicted white cop for killing a black man in his own home is attempting to justify her actions.

Judge Tammy Kemp gave her first interview since sentencing former Dallas officer Amber Guyger to 10 years in prison for shooting and killing Botham Jean.

Kemp says it was her faith and desire to see Guyger live a purposeful life that led her to hug and gift Guyger her own Bible following the trial.

“Following my own convictions, I could not refuse that woman a hug. I would not. And I don’t understand the anger. And I guess I could say if you profess religious beliefs and you are going to follow them, I would hope that they not be situational and limited to one race only.”

Kemp explained that Guyger had asked to hug her twice after the sentencing and she couldn’t refuse the request, especially given that she witnessed a “marked change” in Guyger during the trial.

“She asked me if I thought that God could forgive her and I said, ‘Yes, God can forgive you and has,'” Kemp told The Associated Press.

Kemp then took her personal Bible and gave it to Guyger.

“If she wanted to start with the Bible, I didn’t want her to go back to the jail and to sink into doubt and self-pity and become bitter because she still has a lot of life ahead of her following her sentence and I would hope that she could live it purposefully.”

Judge Kemp’s actions have been heavily criticized by many and considered unethical.

One group has requested a misconduct investigation into the matter and activists have argued that the controversial hug has taken focus from the justified conviction of a white cop killing a black man.

Guyger also received a hug from Jean’s brother, Brandt Jean, who forgave her. “I love you as a person and I don’t wish anything bad on you,” he told her.

Brandt’s show of sympathy was also criticized because convicted black criminals are rarely afforded that same forgiveness and grace by white victims or by the family of white victims.

Guyger was found guilty of murder and sentenced 10 years last week after shooting her neighbor, Botham Jean, to death in his own apartment in September 2018.

After working a long shift, the former cop entered Jean’s apartment, mistakenly thinking it was hers (Guyger’s apartment was directly below Jean’s).

Believing he was an intruder, Guyger shot an unarmed Jean; she was still in uniform at the time of the shooting.

Travis Scott Denies Cheating on Kylie Jenner With Instagram Model YungSweetRo

Travis Scott has broken his silence since breaking up with Kylie Jenner. He is denying all rumors that his infidelity led to their split.

The internet was convinced that the rapper’s rumored affair with Instagram star, Rojean Kar, was the reason Kylie called it quits.

However, Scott took to his own Instagram on Friday (Oct. 4) to shut down the cheating rumor. He wrote:

“It’s really affecting when u see false things said about u once again these false stories about me cheating are just simply not true. Focusing on life, music, and family at this moment is what’s real.”

Kar—who goes by YungSweetRo on Instagram—has been linked to Scott for most of 2019, including attending his LA birthday party in May and popping up at other places where the rapper happens to be.

Kar also released a statement via Instagram last week denying any connection with Scott.

“None of these rumors are true, it’s just the internet creating a false narrative,” she wrote. “Please stop spreading lies & leave us alone because it’s affecting real lives. Thank you.”

While Travis, Ro, and sources close the situation all deny the cheating rumors, a source told People that Jenner does have some trust issues where Scott is concerned.

“She still has trust issues with Travis,” one insider said. “He hasn’t been giving her the commitment that she needs.”

The source again iterated that the trust issues are not due to cheating. “They still have some trust issues but their problems have stemmed more from the stress of their lifestyles.”

As Scott’s career takes off, he is often away from Jenner and their 1-year-old daughter, Stormi. Their hectic schedules may have strained the relationship. Scott even alludes to this in his newly released single, “Highest in the Room.”

“I’m doing a show, I’ll be back soon /  That ain’t what she wanna hear,” he raps in the song.

After a 2-year relationship, Jenner and Scott announced their split last week. Though not an official break-up, the two have decided to take time apart to assess their relationship.

Joshua Brown, Botham Jean’s Neighbor Who Testified Against Ex Cop Amber Guyger, Shot & Killed in Dallas

Joshua Brown, the neighbor of Botham Jean who testified against former cop Amber Guyger in her murder trial, was shot and killed in Dallas, Texas.

According to the Dallas Morning News, Brown was murdered around 10:30 p.m. late Friday night (Oct. 4).

Police said several witnesses flagged them down and pointed out where Brown was.

He was found on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the Atera apartments located in the 4600 block of Cedar Springs Road in Dallas’ Turtle Creek neighborhood.

Brown was rushed to Parkland Memorial Hospital, where he died of his injuries.

Witnesses told police they heard several gunshots and saw a silver four-door sedan speeding out of the parking lot where Brown was located. Police believe the shooting was a drive-by.

A description of the suspect(s) has not been released and the alleged killer(s) are still at large.

Brown’s shooting death comes at a very interesting time … just days after his moving testimony against Amber Guyger that helped the prosecution secure a murder conviction for the shooting death of Botham Jean.

Guyger was sentenced to 10 years in prison for Jean’s murder.

Lee Merritt, the attorney for Botham Jean’s family, wrote about Brown’s shooting death on social media.

Merritt noted that Brown—a former athlete turned entrepreneur—”lived in constant fear that he could be the next victim of gun violence, either state sanctioned or otherwise” and he was visibly from Botham Jean’s shooting death when he took the stand to testify for the prosecution.

Merritt added that Brown’s murder “underscores the reality of the black experience in America.”

Mom of 2 Shot & Killed in Front of Kids By Boyfriend in Murder-Suicide

The shooting death of an Alabama woman who was killed in front of her kids by her boyfriend is making headlines as police investigate the incident as a murder-suicide.

Jasmine Fields, a 26-year-old mother of two, was shot and killed by her ex-boyfriend, Tyvontae Johnson, on Thursday (Oct.3) at a home in Whistler as her young children watched.

Here are some things to know about Jasmine and her tragic death.

1Jasmine Field’s family members say her ex-boyfriend Tyvontae Johnson murdered her in front of her two young children.

Prichard Police discovered Jasmine Fields and her ex-boyfriend Tyvontae Johnson both dead outside a home on Bellmeade Drive early Thursday morning.

Although police haven’t confirmed this, Jasmine’s family told the news that Tyvontae shot and killed her before turning the gun on himself.

Jasmine’s family also said that he killed her in front of her two young children, ages 7 and 5.

A third person was said to be injured in the shooting, but was recovering at the hospital.

Police released the following statement about the murder-suicide:

On 10/3/2019 @ approximately 12:19 hrs, officers responded to 2927 Bellmeade Dr, in reference to shots fired in the area. Upon their arrival at this location, it was quickly observed that there were multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

A black male subject (Tyvontae Johnson) and a black female subject (Jasmine Fields) were both pronounced dead on the scene, while a third victim was transported to USA Hospital for treatment of a gunshot injury to the chest.

Upon speaking with several witnesses, this incident appears to be Domestic related, and will probably be investigated as a “Murder/ Suicide.”

We will also be seeking counseling through Mobile Child Advocacy Center (CAC) for the female victims (2) young children, who were inside the vehicle at the time this incident happened, and watched their mother get gunned down. The case is still ongoing.

2Alleged text messages of Jasmine Fields’ accused murderer Tyvontae Johnson saying he was going to kill her were released on the Internet.

A disturbing text message thread in which Jasmine’s Field’s ex-boyfriend Tyvontae Johnson tells his cousin that he is about to kill her has been getting around on Facebook.

In the text messages, Tyvontae’s cousin tries to convince him that killing her isn’t worth it and to reconsider his decision.

The cousin even brings up Jasmine having two kids in the conversation and tells his cousin to just leave the relationship.

However, Tyvontae makes it known several times during their text conversation that his mind was made up and that he felt like he had no choice but to take Jasmine’s life.

Jasmine’s family also said that she had issues with Tyvontae in the past.

3Jasmine’s friend, Sameka Stabler, tried to save her.

According to Fox10, the third victim in the shooting is Shemeka Stabler. She was hospitalized for a gunshot wound to the chest.

Shemeka is also being called a hero in the shooting.

Jasmine’s sister Tajuana Fields told the news station that Shemeka tried to save Jasmine’s life and stop Tyvontae Johnson from killing her.

While attempting to do this, she was shot herself.

“She tried to stop him while he was trying to shoot her,” Tajuana Fields said. “She jumped in front and he shot her first before he chased my sister down and shot her down.”

4Sameka Stabler was shot and killed by Tyvontae Johnson’s brother three weeks later.

Prichard Police said they weren’t sure when or where Stabler was shot, but she was found in a Toyota Camry on the side of an interstate in Mobile Wednesday afternoon (Oct. 23) with several bullet wounds in her upper torso area.

She was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. Police said they believe Stabler was driving to a hospital after she was shot.

Investigators said Stabler was able to identify 19-year-old Tremaine Johnson as her killer before she died. He has since been charged with her murder.

Prichard Police said Tremaine is the brother of Tyvonte Johnson.

5Jasmine was said to be a fun person who was a joy to be around.

Tajuana Fields told Fox10 News that her sister Jasmine was “spunky, fun, she’s what you would call a rainbow. She’s always nice, always laughing, always silly.”

Fields also spoke on when she heard the news about her sister’s death.

“We received a call almost close to 1:00 that my sister was deceased, laying on the ground where her former boyfriend had killed her and he killed himself,” Tajuana told Fox10.

Tajuana said that all she could do was hope that the news was not true.

“Lord, let this not be true. Lord, let it be a joke,” she said kept going through her mind.

She also revealed that Tajuana’s children saw her being killed and are still messed up by the tragic incident.

“My little niece, she’s crying saying, ‘My mom, my mom, he shot my mom and I loved her so much,'” Fields said. “And my nephew, he’s just been crying and he’s actually been sleeping a lot.”

6A GoFundMe page has been set up for Jasmine’s kids and to help cover burial costs.

Jasmine’s family has made a GoFundMe page to raise money for her burial and to help support her two kids.

The page reads:

“Words cannot express the pain our family is going through right now. Our sister Jasmine Fields lost her life today, October 3, 2019 to domestic violence.

“She leaves behind two beautiful kids, whom witnessed this terrible tragedy. Jasmine Fields was loved by many. She had a bubbly spirit, and was beautiful, inside and out.

“Our family has set up a GoFundMe account for those who wish to donate to this tragic situation. We greatly appreciate your support and prayers.”

Jasmine’s two children will be getting counseling through the Mobile Child Advocacy Center after witnessing the tragedy.

Travis Scott’s Alleged Side Chick Denies Causing Kylie Jenner Break-Up

And she speaks! Travis Scott’s alleged “side chick” that fans believe caused his recent split from Kylie Jenner has broken her silence.

Since Travis and Kylie announced they are “taking space apart” earlier this week, many fans have accused Instagram model Rojean “Ro” Kar as the reason for the breakup.

The going theory is that Travis and Ro have been having an affair for the better part of 2019, if not longer.

After being dragged into the headlines, Thursday afternoon (Oct. 3), Ro made a statement on her Instagram denying having any involvement in Travis and Kylie’s relationship.

She wrote:

“None of these rumours are true. It’s just the internet creating a false narrative. Please stop spreading lies and leave us alone because it’s affecting real lives. Thank you.”

Back in May, we reported on Ro and Travis’ rumored relationship after she attended his extravagant LA birthday, which was thrown by Kylie.

And based own Ro’s own IG posts, fans have noticed that there have been quite a few incidences this year where Ro and Travis are seemingly in the same place, such as a snow-covered vacation spot, a casino, and even one of Kanye’s Sunday services.

Ro has also trolled Kylie on social media, writing “tell ur bd I said thx” in one post while sporting a blinged-out watch, and then claiming Kylie repeatedly blocks and unblocks her on Instagram.

A source with knowledge of Travis and Kylie’s split denies that infidelity was a factor in the decision. The source said:

“Any rumors of cheating are totally and completely false and press should really report on facts rather than rumors and speculation.”

Kylie has not addressed the rumors about Ro.

However, she did take to Twitter to share that she and Travis are on “great terms” and are focusing on co-parenting their 1-year-old daughter, Stormi.

She also set the record straight that she was not on a date with her ex, Tyga, on the same night news broke of her split from Travis. She says it was by happenstance that they were at the same location.

Travis has not made any statements regarding Ro or his breakup with Kylie. He’s been preparing for the release of his single, “Highest in the Room,” which is out today (Oct. 4).

Travis and Kylie dated for two years and sources say this isn’t their first break, but the couple has always managed to work things out.

“Kylie and Travis aren’t officially calling it quits on their relationship, but are taking space apart,” a source told E! News after the couple’s late break. “It’s not a firm split. They’ve been fighting again, but have still seen each other within this last month.”

Chingy Says Tiffany Haddish Is Lying About Them Hooking Up in the Early 2000s: “She Used to Hook Up With My Brother, Not Me”

Oop! Tiffany Haddish just got called out by Chingy for lying about their alleged romantic past together.

Haddish appeared on Ellen earlier this week and participated in the show’s “Burning Questions” segment, a game in which celebrity guests reveal private or funny details about themselves.

The comedian revealed that her first celebrity crush was Steve Urkel and that she likes to bake biscuits naked.

But when asked if Haddish had ever dated a celebrity that we don’t know about, she initially said no. She then recalled a hook-up with Chingy and threw a little shade when she questioned if it still counted since the rapper was most popular in the early 2000s.

“Chingy. I mean, it was a hook up. But that was the early 2000s y’all, I don’t even know if that counts anymore.”

The “Right Thurr” rapper saw the clip of Haddish sharing their alleged one-night rendezvous. But he says it never happened.

In a now-deleted Instagram post that including the clip, Chingy said that Haddish was lying and that she actually hooked up with his brother, not him.

“Now @tiffanyhaddish knows damn well that’s a lie [and] since she lied I’ma tell the truth. She used to hook up with my brother not me, but she liked me. Hey if we gone be honest let’s be honest. #Chingy #facts #justlikethat.”

Haddish has been known to exaggerate or fudge a few details of tales from her private life or encounters with celebrities for the sake of a joke.

But maybe Chingy and his brother really look alike and she thought she was hooking up with the famous rapper.

Haddish has not responded to Chingy’s denial.

So, who do you believe? Tiffany Haddish or Chingy?

Kylie Jenner Spotted Hanging Out With Tyga After Travis Scott Break Up

Not long after the news broke that Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott had broken up, Kylie reportedly went to see her ex-boyfriend Tyga late Tuesday night (Oct. 1).

According to the Daily Mail, after a night of partying with a couple of her girlfriends, Anastasia “Stassi” Karanikolaou and Kelsey Calemine, Kylie and co. “headed straight to the Sunset Marquis, where Kylie’s ex-boyfriend Tyga was working in the hotel’s recording studio.”

But before you get to thinking that Kylie wants that old thing back, a source told E! News that “nothing romantic is going on” between Kylie and Tyga. At least not now.

“Kylie wanted to have a girls’ night out last night and Stassie thought it would be best to get her out of the house and her mind off the news,” E!’s source explained.

“He was with a few of their mutual friends at Sunset Marquis and invited Kylie and her girlfriends to come hangout, since they were already out.”

The insider added that while Kylie and Tyga “have been in touch” since their breakup in 2017, they don’t really talk that often.

E!’s insider also made it a point to note that Kylie’s brief reunion with Tyga “wasn’t an intentional jab at Travis”

As for why Kylie and Travis have decided to take from their relationship after two years together, one source told People that the parents of 1-year-old Stormi Webster are simply on two different pages in their lives right now.

“There were several issues that made them decide to take a break,” People’s source said. “Kylie is all about family life and really wants a second baby.”

The insider continued: “She still has trust issues with Travis. He hasn’t been giving her the commitment that she needs. Travis isn’t ready to give her all that she wants.”

While the 22-year-old makeup mogul wants to get married and have more kids, Scott, 28, is focused on his music career.

People’s source added that Kylie looks up to her big sister, Kim Kardashian, for inspiration when it comes to relationship role models.

“Kylie looks up to Kim and really wants what she has with Kanye [West],” the insider said.

Kylie and Travis’ last public appearance together was back in August at the premiere of Travis’ Netflix documentary Look Mom I Can Fly. The pair also recently collaborated on Playboy magazine’s Pleasure issue.

Kylie and Travis have yet to publicly address their split and aven’t posted about each other on social media in weeks, however.

While they’re figuring out things as a couple, Travis and Kylie are dedicated to co-parenting their daughter.

“Kylie has been allowing him to see Stormi,” an insider told E! News. “She would never take that away from him.”

You Big Dummy! Drug Dealer Arrested on Drug & Gun Charges After Stunting Too Hard on Social Media

A Louisiana man is learning a serious lesson about stunting on social media.

WBRZ reports that Dymonet Green from Baton Rouge is facing several drug and weapon charges after flaunting money all over the internet.

Green, who also goes by the street name “Nichie,” apparently gained the attention of authorities after he posted a number of photos of himself on Facebook and Instagram with loads of cash and a Mercedes Benz.

In one similarly incriminating photo, the 34-year-old is seen posing in front of a Maybach.

And a number of other photos on Green’s Instagram account show him hanging out with celebrities, like rapper Waka Flocka Flame and Cash Money Records co-founder Ronald Jay “Slim” Williams.

Somehow all this eventually led to Green selling heroin to an undercover cop and authorities getting a search warrant to go inside his home, where they found (SURPRISE!) money, drugs, and guns.

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office bragged about their score on Facebook:

In early September of 2019, EBRSO Narcotics conducted a controlled purchase of an ounce of heroin from Dymonet Green aka “Nichie” (dob 9/25/85).

Through post buy investigation, Agents were able to obtain search warrants for Green’s residence, 1984 Denver Drive, and his automotive shop located at 2704 N. Ardenwood Drive (D and D Automotive).

The following was seized:
-$32,912
-Kilo press
-Numerous scales with heroin residue
-Smith and Wesson .40 caliber handgun (stolen)
-9mm handgun (stolen)
-Numerous high capacity magazines
-1 stolen vehicle (BRPD took possession)

Green was charged with distribution of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a stolen firearm, as well as a bench warrant for domestic abuse battery.

If this ain’t dumb, I don’t know what is! If you’re going to earn a living doing something illegal, at least be smart enough not to be flexing all over social media.

Botham Jean’s Brother Forgives Amber Guyger, Hugs Her After Testimony: “I Love You & I Don’t Wish Anything Bad on You”

After former Dallas police officer Amber Guyger was sentenced to 10 years in prison for murdering Botham Jean in his own apartment, the victim’s brother, Brandt Jean, gave an impact testimony and used his moment on the stand to forgive Guyger.

Botham Jean was shot and killed by Amber Guyger while he was sitting on his couch, eating ice cream and watching television in his own apartment.

Guyger testified that she accidentally walked into his apartment, which was unlocked, thinking it was her own, and opened fire on him, believing that he was an intruder.

She said she had worked a long shift that day and mistakenly parked on the fourth floor instead of the third floor where her unit was, directly below Jean’s.

While on the stand yesterday before her conviction, Guyger tearfully apologized for killing Jean and said she “never wanted to take an innocent person’s life.” She added: “I’m so sorry. This is not about hate — it’s about being scared.”

Following his victim impact testimony, Brandt Jean made it clear that he holds no ill will towards the former cop who killed his brother and accepts her apology.

“If you truly are sorry, I can speak for myself, I forgive and I know if you go to God and ask him, he will forgive you. And I don’t think anyone can say it, again I’m speaking for myself… but I love you just like anyone else.

“And I’m not gonna say I hope you rot and die just like my brother did but I presently want the best for you. And I wasn’t going to ever say this in front of my family or anyone, but I don’t even want you to go to jail. I want the best for you, because I know that’s exactly what Botham would want you to do.

“And the best would be to give your life to Christ. I’m not going to say anything else. I think giving your life to Christ would be the best thing that Botham would want you to do. Again I love you as a person and I don’t wish anything bad on you…”

Brandt then asked the judge if he could give Amber a hug. The judge said yes, and the two shared an embrace that lasted nearly a full minute as sobs could be heard in the background.

Ex-Dallas Cop Amber Guyger Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison for Murdering Botham Jean in His Own Apartment

Amber Guyger, the former Dallas police officer who was found guilty of murder in the shooting death of her unarmed neighbor, Botham Jean, was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Wednesday (Oct. 2).

Via ABC News:

The Dallas County jury reached a unanimous decision on the sentence just before 4 p.m. Central Standard Time, after deliberating for a little over an hour.

Judge Tammy Kemp ordered Guyger and her attorney’s to stand as she read the jury’s decision on sentencing.

Earlier in the day, the panel heard tearful victim impact statements from family members and friends of the victim, Botham Jean, and Guyger’s relatives and former colleagues in the Dallas Police Department.

The sentencing phase came a day after the jury rejected Guyger’s self-defense claims and convicted her of murder in the fatal shooting of Jean, 26, an innocent man eating ice cream in his own home just before he was killed on Sept. 6, 2018.

The 12-member jury reached its unanimous guilty verdict after deliberating for less than two days.

Guyger, who was fired from her job as a Dallas police officer in the wake of the shooting, had faced a maximum sentence of five to 99 years in prison.

Before the jury began deciding Guyger’s punishment, Dallas County Assistant District Attorney LaQuita Long suggested to the panel that the sentence should not be lower than 28 years, noting that Jean would have turned 28 this past Sunday.

“The only reason we all sit in this courtroom today is because of her actions,” said Long, pointing to Guyger seated at the defense table. “And for her actions, there must be consequences.”

She left the jury with a quote to mull over from the eulogy Botham Jean’s minister gave at his funeral: “To the defendant, he was just a silhouette in a room. To EVERYONE who knew Bo, he was the brightest light in the room.”

Guyger’s defense lawyer Toby Shook asked the jury for mercy, pleading with them not to give Guyger a sentence meant for someone who kills out of “hate, for self-gain, who does so without remorse.”

He said Guyger is incredibly remorseful and that she made a series of “horrible mistakes” that caused her to “pull that trigger in an instant, an instant she’ll have to live with the rest of her life.”

After being found guilty, the 31-year-old Guyger was immediately taken to jail and spent Tuesday night in custody. She was in handcuffs and leg irons when guards escorted her into court on Wednesday morning.

Dallas County District Court Judge Tammy Kemp granted a request from Guyger’s defense team that the restraints be removed while Guyger was in court.

Earlier Wednesday, Jean’s father, Bertrum Jean, broke down in tears on the witness stand as he spoke of his son. He said how much he missed the conversations on the phone that they shared every Sunday.

“Sundays are not a good day for me because I’m not hearing his voice,” he said.

Bertrum Jean said his son’s death has traumatized his family. Showing him a photo of him hugging his wife on the day of their son’s funeral, Long asked him to describe what was going through his mind when the photo was taken.

“How could that happen to us, our family?” said Bertrum Jean, his voice choking with emotion. “How could we have lost Botham — such a sweet boy. He tried his best to live a good, honest life. He loved God. He loved everyone. How could this happen to him?”

“How could it be possible?” he continued, wiping his eyes with a handkerchief. “I’ll never see him again.”

On Tuesday, Bertrum Jean’s wife, Allison Jean, testified, saying, “My life has not been the same. It’s just been like a roller coaster.”

[…]

On Tuesday and Wednesday, prosecutors showed the jury numerous text messages and social media posts in which Guyger shared racist and violent views, or chimed in on equally offensive memes.

Under one meme reading “I wear all black to remind you not to mess with me, because I’m already dressed for your funeral,” Guyger allegedly commented, “yah i got meh a gun a shovel an gloves if i were u back da f— up.”

In a text exchange with police colleagues from Jan. 15, 2018, Guyger, who had been assigned to crowd control at the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade in Dallas, answered a colleague who wrote, “When does this end lol.” Guyger allegedly wrote, “When MLK is dead… oh wait…” She later texted about the parade crowd, writing, “Just push them… or spray your pepper spray in that general area.”

10 years is NOT enough time. She should have gotten life!

Myah Autry: Quick Facts About Woman Who Climbed Into Lion Enclosure at Bronx Zoo

Video footage showing a woman who can only be described as batshit crazy climbing into a lion enclosure at the Bronx Zoo in New York has gone viral on social media.

The woman in the footage has been identified as Myah Autry, who also goes by the name “Myáh Lareé Israelite” on Instagram.

Here’s what you need to know:

1Myah Autry ignored warnings and concerns from others prior to climbing into the lion enclosure.

When Myáh Lareé Israelite was climbing over the fence to get closer to the lions in the enclosure, those around her could be heard telling her how much of a bad idea it was.

“You’re not supposed to do that,” a man behind the camera says three times as she blatantly ignores him. “Go ahead and fall in there and see what happens,” the man warns.

But Myáh doesn’t listen and proceeds to wave at the lion standing mere feet away from her.

As the woman appears to taunt the lion by waving at him and shaking her body, a conversation continues in the background between her male friend and another male bystander:

Do you know her?
Yeah, I know her.
Can you tell her to get back?
I told her … She don’t listen to me.
She is…
I know.

Other short video clips from her IG account and from the account of a bystander show her wiggling her fingers, dancing, and at one point telling the animal: “Baby! I love you!”

The woman wrote in the caption of one of her videos: “I REALLY HAVE NO FEAR OF NOTHING BREATHING!!”

Fortunately, no one was injured.

2Myah Autry (aka Myáh Lareé Israelite) was celebrating her birthday at the Bronx Zoo.

Myah Autry (aka Myáh Lareé Israelite) is a Harlem resident and, according to a series of posts on her Instagram page, she was celebrating her birthday at the Bronx Zoo when she decided to endanger her life, and possibly the lives of others, by hopping a fence and climbing into a lion enclosure.

One post, in particular, is a video of her at the entrance of the zoo dancing to Big Pun’s “Still Not a Player” and taking a puff from a joint before declaring that she’s about to go “f**k around with mother nature.”

She also mentioned that her birthday was “9/30.”

3Other videos show Autry engaging with peacocks and inside a giraffe exhibit.

Myah Autry didn’t just interact with the lions at the zoo.

She also engaged with a peacock, and while she doesn’t appear to invade the bird’s personal space (as she did with the lion), another video clip does show her inside a giraffe enclosure.

She wrote: “Notice when I told the giraffe I loved him or her it came closer … even the baby both wagged they tails watch!”

4The woman also posed for pics with NYPD cops in Times Square.

Not long after pulling her viral stunt at the Bronx Zoo, Myah Autry took to Times Square, where she met up with a group of NYPD cops and posed for a couple of pictures with them.

5The Bronx Zoo filed a complaint with the NYPD for criminal trespass and released a statement about the incident, saying that what Autry did was very dangerous and could have gotten her killed.

A spokesman for the Bronx Zoo issued the following statement condemning Myah Autry’s actions:

“This action was a serious violation and unlawful trespass that could have resulted in serious injury or death. Barriers and rules are in place to keep both visitors, staff, and animals safe. We have a zero-tolerance policy on trespass and violation of barriers.”

According to CNN, the Bronx Zoo also filed a complaint for criminal trespass with the New York Police Department.

An NYPD official said no one called 911 and no arrests were made, and they were just notified about the incident on Tuesday (Oct. 1) and had no further information to provide.

Wendy Williams Struggling to Book A-List Celebs for Season 11 Because of Her “Mean Girl” Attitude

Wendy Williams just kicked off the 11th season of her talk show. But it seems the host is having a hard time booking A-list guests and it’s all because of her slick mouth and mean girl ways.

A close source to Wendy Show production revealed to The Daily Mail that the show is struggling to book top-tier guests for the show because Williams has resorted to attacking friends and colleagues on-air after showing a softer side last season while divorcing her husband, battling addiction issues, and worrying that the future of her show may be jeopardy.

Via the Daily Mail source:

“There’s always been a segment of Hollywood stars who would never come on Wendy’s show. There are still a lot of big-name black stars in particular who made a vow a decade ago to never appear on her show based on things she said about them doing her radio days.

“But just when we thought things would be easier for getting guests and engaging people who aren’t just reality stars and B-players in sitcoms and movies, she’s making it hard again.”

Williams gained much sympathy and support from celebrities earlier this year as her personal life spiraled downward.

However, she’s quickly losing that support since returning to her purple chair and reverting to her “mean girl ways” like throwing shade at friend Jerry O’Connell.

O’Connell guest co-hosted Williams’ show several times while she was out due to illness and seeking treatment at a sober house. During the summer, he tested his own talk show executive produced by Williams.

But on her season 11 premiere show, Williams shadily announced that O’Connell’s talk show had not been picked up by a network.

Her own producer quickly informed her that O’Connell’s show isn’t dead yet and that they’re still pitching it to networks.

“She knew good and well what the hell she was doing,” the source said.

“Once Wendy got her green light to return for two more seasons, she didn’t have to play nice any longer and pretend she was onboard with Jerry’s show being her sibling show,” the source continued.

“She always believed her executives were trying to groom Jerry to replace her and that pretend mix-up she did on-air was her Wendy way of sabotaging Jerry.”

Williams has also gotten in hot water with friend Christie Brinkley for saying the model faked her Dancing with the Stars wrist injury which took her out of the competition, only to be replaced by her daughter.

“I’m totally shocked, because I have been there for Wendy Williams. That is so weird,” Brinkley said during an appearance on The Talk.

“My message to Wendy is: It’s so much more fun to be kind. Try it,” she added while the Talk hosts all shamed Williams for being mean.

Williams also helped reignite a feud between Tamar Braxton and her former The Real co-hosts. Williams dismissively called The Real a “cute show,” but said that it needed Braxton.

“Thanks for calling us a ‘cute show’ Wendy. We’re also an Emmy-winning show,” co-host Loni Love shot back during a live broadcast of The Real, a clear jab at the Wendy Show never winning an Emmy despite several nominations during its 11-year run.

The Wendy Williams Show was just renewed for two more seasons.

The Daily Mail reports that while the network is frustrated that big-name celebrities continue to avoid the show because of Wendy, they hope season 11 will still be successful … as long as Williams’ personal life remains in check.

Remy Ma Says Fat Joe Can Use the N-Word Because “He’s Black, Like, That’s It. Period.”

When Remy Ma is not busy playing the role of mother, reality TV star or rapper, she’s busy with her job as one of the hosts on State of the Culture, the bootleg, hip-hop version of The View.

During a recent episode, Fat Joe’s comments about the blackness of the Latinx community and particularly, his ethnic background (he’s Cuban and Puerto Rican), were brought up.

Jinx, another of the hosts on SOTC, felt some type of way about Joe using the n-word in his music. But Remy Ma, who considers Joe her “brother” and long-time friend, predictably came to his defense.

“He’s Black, like, that’s it,” said Remy. “Joe is Black and that’s it. Period.”

“I see him as a Black person, to me,” chimed in co-host Eboni Williams.

“That’s still not the same thing,” said Jinx.

You can watch the whole debate play out on the State of the Culture below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qf0I6wxyhQE&feature=youtu.be

So here’s the thing: Fat Joe is right that MOST Latinx people have African descent and therefore, can and should be considered Black. And if they are Black, then logic follows that they can be opted in to using the n-word.

But here’s the problem: Not all Latinx people are black or at the very least, visibly Black.

Latinx is a cultural designation. Latinx people are a mixture of European, African and Native Americans.

So while it’s true that MANY Latinx people are black, there are some who aren’t and some who are but don’t look it. So the question then becomes: How black does someone have to be to use the n-word?

That question was never asked or addressed, but that’s really what lies at the root of the question.

Or maybe, just maybe, we should all (black, white, Latinx or otherwise) stop making complicated rules on who can use an offensive word and just opt out of this convoluted attempt to “reclaim” the n-word. It ain’t worth the trouble.

Stacey Dash Gets Bailed Out by Her Husband After Crying Broke & Getting a Public Defender

The story of Stacey Dash has been sad and sorry for some time.

She was once the IT black girl in Hollywood after her star role in Clueless, but once she stepped out as a black conservative, most of her (minority) fan base washed their hands of her.

Stacey seemed perfectly fine with that as she catered to and sought the approval of conservative white people on Fox News instead.

She even opted to seal the deal with a MAGA-loving white man, her fourth husband, Jeffrey Marty.

But her MAGA-loving life blew up in her face when she was arrested for assaulting her husband and her stepdaughter recently.

The good news for Stacey fans is that Stacey Dash has been bailed out by her white knight (Marty) for a mere $500.

The Daily Mail has the tea:

Stacey Dash has been bailed out of jail by the man she is charged with assaulting.

Court documents obtained by DailyMail.com show that Jeffrey Marty paid the $500 to get his wife of just over one year released from custody early Monday morning.

Dash is still facing a sentence of up to one year in prison after she allegedly attacked Marty following a fight with her stepdaughter.

The cash appearance bond does not yet list a date however for her next court appearance, and instead reads: ‘To be set.’

Interestingly, in the same court documents that Daily Mail was perusing through, it came up that Stacey was claiming to be broke and in need of a public defender.

Dash has said in court documents that she is indigent, which could mean that the state will have to provide her with a public defender.

In order to qualify for that status, Dash will have to provide financial documents to the court that prove she cannot afford an attorney.

It seems that the actress may have already done so, with assistant public defender Peter J. Gorn listed as her attorney in the case file seen by DailyMail.com.

Kanye West GIF - Find & Share on GIPHY

Damn, Stacey. It’s really like that? Did the Clueless royalties stop rolling in? Was the Fox News gig you got let go from in 2017 your last paying gig?

On the positive side, it sounds like her husband still wants her back, even though she slapped and scratched him and shoved his daughter around.

So she should focus on repairing the damage her anger violence caused in that situation.

But then again, given that she claimed her husband got his kids to lie on her to get her arrested, I have a feeling Thanksgiving conversations are gonna be real awkward this year.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRZsdE5hm0o

Or she can pack it up with her MAGA man and call up her fellow Trump-loving friend Kanye West and ask for a loan and a couch to crash on.

Her kids are grown as hell, so she’s got options.

Kylie Jenner & Travis Scott Break Up, Proving That None of the KarJenners Can Keep a Man

It seemed like Kylie Jenner had something that would last in her relationship with Travis Scott, but alas, it wasn’t meant to be.

TMZ cites sources close to Kylie and Travis that confirm the two are broken up … at least for now.

To be fair though, things have been a bit of a rollercoaster between Kylie and Travis for a while now.

Back in May of this year, one of Travis’ alleged side chicks, Ro, caused some mess on social media when she attended the birthday party Kylie organized for Travis and began antagonizing Kylie on social media.

As we previously reported:

Ro then started trolling Kylie on social media, writing “tell ur bd I said thx” in one post, and claiming Kylie repeatedly blocks then unblocks her on Instagram.

Since the news about Kylie and Travis’ split is traced back to “sources” talking to TMZ and the fact that Kylie attended Justin Bieber’s wedding without Travis recently, I wouldn’t be surprised if this turns out to not be true.

But it also wouldn’t be surprising if it were true, because again: The Kardashian/Jenner gals can’t keep a man.

Kylie just better get out before she suffers some kind of Khloe-level embarrassment like how Tristan did Khloe with Kylie’s former best friend, Jordyn Woods.
