“American Horror Story” Reveals Season 8 Title: “Apocalypse”

The title of American Horror Story‘s 8th season has been announced!

Friday (Jul. 20) at midnight PST during Comic-Con 2018 in San Diego California, AHS revealed the title of their eighth season: “Apocalypse.” The big announcement was accompanied by an image of a baby covered in blood being touched by a creepy-looking black hand.

In the past, showrunner Ryan Murphy has kept details of upcoming American Horror Story seasons under wraps, but this time, he chose to reveal a bit of info. about the next AHS season early on. Last month, Murphy tweeted that AHS Season 8 would be a “Coven/Murder House crossover.”

AHS’ first season, and arguably its best, “Murder House,” centered on a family who moved into a restored mansion, unaware that the house was haunted by the ghosts of its former residents and their victims. The third season of AHS, “Coven,” followed a coven of Salem witches fighting for survival in the present-day while dealing with issues from the past.

AHS Season 8 will reportedly be set in the near future (18 months in the future, according to Murphy) and will feature a long list of returning stars: Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson (who will be playing multiple characters), Kathy Bates, Cheyenne Jackson, Billy Eichner, Adina Porter, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd and Emma Roberts. Franchise newcomer Joan Collins will play the grandmother of Evan Peters’ character, who is said to be a “comedic hairdresser.”

“It’s a season unlike anything we’ve done because there’s a big hook to it,” Murphy said about AHS: Apocalypse. “There’s a huge thing that happens in Episode 5.”

Because Season 8 will be a crossover season, it’s highly likely that actors/characters from “Murder House” and “Coven” will appear. Murphy has said that he is optimistic that many of the original AHS stars will return for the crossover season, including Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton and fan favorite Jessica Lange.

“I want all of them,” Murphy said. “I want Dylan, and Connie and Jessica [Lange]. They’ve all said — Kathy Bates, too — everybody who is involved in the show has always said, ‘Yeah, that sounds like fun, let’s get the band back together again.’ So that is one of the reasons why the writing process of that season is taking longer because it’s literally 25 people’s schedules. But I’m hopeful they will all be back.”

As one Facebook user put it, “We lived in the Murder House. We escaped the Asylum. We protected the Coven. We attended the Freak Show. We checked into the Hotel. We experienced the Roanoke nightmare. We joined the Cult. And now we will survive the Apocalypse.”

American Horror Story: Apocalypse premieres Wednesday, September 12th on FX.

Stevie J & Faith Evans’ Friends & Family Reportedly Upset Over Secret Wedding in Las Vegas

Are Stevie J and Faith Evans REALLY married? That’s the question on the minds of many after TMZ reported yesterday that the couple applied for a marriage license on Tuesday (Jul. 17) just hours before they tied the knot in a secret “quickie wedding” in Las Vegas.

Several attendees at the top-secret ceremony confirmed the news to TMZ that Stevie and Faith exchanged “I Do’s” in their Vegas hotel room around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night, about four hours after Faith called in a local minister to ask him if he was available to do a wedding at Trump Hotel ASAP.

Because folks like receipts when it comes to stuff like this, TMZ also published a photo of the supposed newlyweds outside of a courthouse in Las Vegas after obtaining their marriage license.

TMZ reported:

The ceremony was performed in the living room of their hotel suite with Faith and Stevie overlooking the Vegas strip. Sources close to the couple tell us they held hands and teared up while “Ave Maria” played on a portable speaker.

We’re told the “Gypsy Minister” — whose services cost a couple hundred bucks — had no idea she was marrying off celebs. She even asked Faith if she was a model or an actress. Faith politely said she’s a singer … to which the minister said, “Me too!”

Apparently, after tying the knot, the couple exchanged tweets affirming their love for one another. Stevie tweeted “I love you Faith Renee Jordan” and Evans tweeted back, “I love you back Steven Aaron Jordan.”

The reports have fans scratching their heads because while Stevie and Faith have dated in the past, them getting hitched seems to be a bit … strange. If they are, indeed, married, as the multiple reports suggest, this is Stevie’s first marriage and Faith’s third. She has previously been married to Todd Russaw and the Notorious B.I.G.

Though Stevie has never been married, he currently has six children and a grandchild. His sixth child, his daughter with his former Love & Hip Hop Atlanta co-star Joseline Hernandez, is barely two years old.

News of their marriage also comes immediately following the release of a sneak peek of the video for their collaboration “A Minute,” which also has fans wondering if this is all a publicity stunt for reality TV and to promote their new song and video, which will both be released “EVERYWHERE on July 27th,” according to this tweet from Faith:

Stevie J and Faith Evans have known each other for a while, since the 90’s to be exact, when Stevie was a producer for Evans’ then-husband, the Notorious B.I.G. Stevie and Faith started dating in 2016 after working together in the studio, but broke up for a brief period.

“I’ve known her for like 25 years,” he told The Breakfast Club in December 2016. “We was like family and then as years progressed, we just began to hang out more [and] talk more.”

A few months later, in her own interview with The Breakfast Club in March 2017, Evans said of the romance, “I never took Stevie serious, actually.”

She continued, “I think probably in the last 10 years, I would say, is he trying to flirt? Lets go. But I never saw him like that. I have always had plenty of male friends. Never dated any of them. I was just really cool like that. I think I really should have been a boy or something. But I’m just cool with dudes. I would check on him, just hear if he was going through stuff and find out how to get in touch with him….[I was] Just really sincerely his friend.”

Faith explained that when she and Stevie finally got together, she told him the relationship had to be serious, or else it would be nothing at all. She said, “You know, I’m like, ‘you know I’m not about all the craziness. If I’m going to be in a relationship, it’s gotta be a serious one. You know?’ And I think probably for a few months he definitely went through the convincing and not getting a real response. You know, just, even though I was brushing him off, [he was] like, ‘no for real I really wanna be with you, I love you.’ And I’m like, ‘I love you too, but I don’t know if I wanna be with you.’ You know what I’m saying?”

In April 2018, Stevie and Faith rekindled their romance when Stevie attended a party Faith was throwing, and the whole thing was documented on Stevie’s VH1 reality show Leave it to Stevie. “Faith is beautiful,” Stevie said on his show. “When I’m around her, I feel like I’m the best version of myself.”

Stevie said to Faith: “If I’m being honest, I did some things I shouldn’t have done.” Evans replied: “You know we are always solid.”

“I want to be tighter than solid, you know what I’m saying?” Stevie J said. “I never speak to you anymore.” Stevie then got on one knee, as if he were proposing to her. “I know what I need to do,” he said, and Evans laughed back, “Where’s the drinks?”

A few months later, it looks like Stevie J made good on the joke he made to Evans. And friends and family of the “newlyweds” are reportedly not too pleased that they got married in a secret ceremony.

According to TMZ, family sources on both sides said they were never given a heads-up that a marriage between the two was even a possibility. The person who’s most upset? Faith’s 21-year-old son CJ Wallace—her child with Biggie Smalls.

We’re told there was never talk — not a hint — of a wedding. Faith was scheduled to be in L.A. getting ready for a London trip, and Stevie was just in Atlanta for ‘Love & Hip Hop’ … so the Vegas rendezvous that ended in “I do” floored everyone.

Our sources say there are a lot of hurt feelings among those close to the couple … especially their kids. We’re told Faith’s son, CJ Wallace — her child with Biggie Smalls — is especially upset … because he’s also Stevie’s godson.

Family sources on Faith’s side tell us … Faith told them Stevie J went to her Tuesday and told her they needed to get married that day. The sources think Stevie J knew if Faith started telling friends and family she was marrying him, they would talk her out of it.

And, get this … friends and family members were blowing up Faith’s phone Wednesday, asking her why she did it. She responded by sending them a song she just recorded with Stevie J called, “A Minute” with the explanation … it only took a minute to fall in love.

Meanwhile, Twiter has thoughts and questions:

Whew Chile, THE GHETTO! Love & Hip Hop Hollywood’s Season 5 Super Trailer Is Here (VIDEO)

VH1 has released the Love & Hip Hop Hollywood Season 5 super trailer … and whew chile, THE GHETTO!

On the surface, Love & Hip Hop Hollywood would seem like it would be a bit more “classier” than its NYC, ATL and MIA counterparts. But nope, LHHH is just as ghetto as its sister shows. If not, more!

Kimberly, the artist formerly known as K. Michelle, has moseyed her way on over to yet another Love & Hip Hop franchise. After showing her ass (literally) in Atlanta and New York City, she’s taken her talent out west to Los Angeles, and she’s decided to remove those massive butt implants that helped catapult her to superstardom. But the road to self-love does come with a few caveats: dealing with the haters in L.A.

Princess Love and Ray J are FINALLY with child, but unfortunately, they’re still dealing with cheating rumors, which is pissing momma Sonja and sister Brandy off because Ray J isn’t really cheating “this time” (or so so they say). Oh, and Moniece is still hurling insults at Princess, and Princess is hurling them right back, which causes Moniece to attempt to attack a whole pregnant woman.

Lyrica and A1 have always been the most drama-free of the LHH Hollywood couples, but not this season. K. Michelle (err, we mean “Kimberly”) has come armed with a few allegations of infidelity on Lyrica’s part, and Brooke Valentine is corroborating those claims. Back in ATL, Karlie was shaking the tables, but in Hollywood, Lyrica is FLIPPING tables while Brooke laughs at her after calling her out for being “lit” with a “husband and a side n**ga.”

Lyrica Garett and A1’s mom Pam are back to beefing, and food and chairs go flying when the subject of Lyrica Anderson stepping out on A1 is brought up. And wayment. Is Safaree the man Lyrica has been sleeping with? Because A1 certainly thinks so, and jumps on top of a table to go after him.

And last, but certainly not least, is Teairra Mari, who has a new man in her life, but as usual, he comes with some problems. She’s apparently not his number one chick OR number two chick, but the NUMBER THREE chick in Akbar Abdul-Ahad’s harem of women. And he has also “allegedly” released explicit videos and photos of her. After busting the windows out his car, Jazmine Sullivan-style, Mari teams up with Lisa Bloom for a press conference announcing a “revenge porn” lawsuit against Abdul-Ahad with her BFFs Moniece and Brooke by her side.

Like I said before… WHEW CHILE, THE GHETTO!!!

Love & Hip Hop Hollywood Season 5 premieres on Monday, July 23rd, but before then, get into the super trailer below:

Cardi B “My Mama Said” Tattle Tale Memes Are Taking Over Social Media

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you will know that at least three major news events occurred over the past week.

The 12 boys from the Thailand soccer team, along with their coach, were successfully rescued from a cave they’d been trapped in for two weeks. France won the 2018 FIFA World Cup. And Cardi B memes are running rampant all over the internet.

Someone recently shared a picture of Cardi B (real name: Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar) as a child, and as Twitter is wont to do, they turned it into a hilarious meme, pointing out Baby Belcalis’ “tattle tale” stance and combining it with the phrase “my mama said…”

Perhaps the funniest part of the meme is that we all know a little smart azz child who doesn’t mind putting your business out there. Hell, some of us were that annoying, smart-mouthed kid. But the captions are what really set this meme off. Combine that with the thought of Cardi B’s voice as a tiny tot and you have the perfect recipe for pure hilarity.

Take a look below:

Mugshot Madness: Michael Boatwright, Second XXXTentacion Murder Suspect, Arrested

Police have arrested a second suspect in XXXTentacion’s murder case.

22-year-old Michael Boatwright was arrested on an unrelated drug charge on Thursday, July 5th, and while he was in jail, he was served with a warrant on Tuesday, July 10th for first-degree murder.

According to court docs, when Boatwright was pulled over on July 5th for tinted windows, officers smelled marijuana and then discovered 6 grams of crack cocaine in his pocket.

Boatwright’s arrest record shows that, in addition to the murder charge, Boatwright is being held on charges of cannabis possession, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver, possession of the drug flakka, battery on a specified employee, resisting/obstruction without violence, and probation violation, among other charges. He’s being held without bond and it wasn’t immediately clear whether he had obtained legal representation.

XXXTentacion was shot and killed outside of a motorcycle dealership in Broward County, Florida on June 18th. According to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, Michael Boatwright is one of the two armed suspects who confronted the rapper outside Riva Motorsports before he was gunned down. Police believe four people in total were involved.

22-year-old Robert Allen was also identified by investigators as a person of interest in connection with the killing of the 20-year-old rapper after he was spotted on surveillance video at the motorcycle in Pompano Beach were XXX was shopping before he was murdered. Allen is still wanted, along with another unnamed suspect.

Boatwright’s arrest came a few weeks after 22-year-old Dedrick Williams was arrested and booked for first-degree murder, however, police have said that he is not one of the men who actually shot XXXTentacion.

Body of Murdered New Orleans Teen Renard Matthews Displayed in Front of TV Playing Video Game

A New Orleans family chose a very unique way to remember their loved one at his wake.

18-year-old Renard Matthews was killed late last month (Tues, Jun. 26) during a shooting in his neighborhood. He had been walking his new dog when he was fatally shot in the head and his cellphone was taken, his aunt said.

For his wake at the Charbonnet Labat Glapion funeral home in New Orleans’ Tremé neighborhood last Sunday (Jul. 8), Matthews’ family decided to mourn him in the same way he lived his life.

The teen’s body was placed upright in a chair, with his hands holding a PlayStation 4 controller, surrounded by some of his favorite snacks, with his beloved Boston Celtics playing on NBA2K on a TV screen in front of him. He was wearing Celtics star Kyrie Irving’s #11 jersey, black pants, green socks with Irving’s face on them and black Nike slides. Matthews’ mother Tameka said her son was a homebody and a big fan of Kyrie Irving.

While this is certainly a rather “different” way to commemorate a loved one, you have to give Matthews’ family some originality points. While strange, it also probably helped lighten the burden of losing him, as seeing him in a casket would have likely been hard on the family, especially considering how young he was.

Renard Matthews’ funeral and burial were held two days after his wake, on Tuesday, July 10th.

WATCH: Adam “Pacman” Jones Gets Into Fight With Atlanta Airport Worker

NFL free agent Adam “Pacman” Jones got into a huge fistfight at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta Tuesday evening (Jul. 10) after he was attacked by an airport worker.

According to Fox 5 Atlanta, Jones had just touched down in ATL Tuesday when police say an employee of the facility-service ABM Industries made a “gesture” towards Jones as he was walking through the airport with a woman.

Video footage posted online shows Pacman calling out the airport worker and confronting him. After exchanging words with Jones, the ABM employee, Frank Ragin, still wearing his bright orange fest, went after former Cincinnati Bengals cornerback, which sparked the fight.

Police said Ragin punched Jones in the face, and after being hit, Jones defended himself and hit Ragin back, before eventually knocking him to the ground. At some point during the fight, Ragin reportedly hit the woman with Jones, hurting her hand.

Cops were called and arrested Ragin on two counts of battery. Jones was not arrested because Ragin through the first punch was the instigator in the fight, police said.

XXXTentacion Signed a $10 Million Record Deal Weeks Before Shooting Death

Just weeks before he was shot and killed in Florida, XXXTentacion signed a record deal worth $10 million, the New York Times reports. According to the Times, X was offered the contract by Empire, the same label he released his debut album 17 on last year.

According to multiple people who were “briefed on the terms,” Empire planned on releasing the Florida rapper’s third album sometime this year, and he had been in the studio working on new music at the time of his death.

Empire founder Ghazi Shami confirmed that the rapper had finished “a significant amount of material” for the album before he died. XXXTentacion’s posthumous third album isn’t expected to drop until at least October due to a clause in his last record contract with a distribution unit of Universal Music Group.

The release of his third album will no doubt contribute to the controversial rapper’s posthumous rise in popularity. The week after his death, his latest single “Sad!” jumped from No. 52 to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and he beat Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s Everything Is Love joint album for the #1 spot for that week.

The video for “Sad!”—which was released the day of his private funeral and eerily shows him attending his own funeral and fighting with his own resurrected body—has been viewed more than 60 million times on YouTube, bringing his total audio and video streams for his music to a whopping 4.6 billion, according to Nielson.

Cardi B & Offset Welcome Baby Girl Kulture Kiari Cephus

Baby Bardi is here! Cardi B is officially a new mom after giving birth to a baby girl.

Cardi and her husband Offset welcomed their daughter Tuesday night (Jun. 10) at a hospital in Atlanta, and Cardi officially announced the birth of Kulture Kiari Cephus via Instagram Wednesday. Kiari, the baby’s middle name, is Offset’s real first name.

In her announcement photo, Cardi can be seen posing nude surrounded by a bed of flowers. Cardi tags her husband in the caption on the photo, which also reads the name of their baby girl her birthday: 07/10/18.

This has been a long journey for Cardi, who was rumored to be pregnant back in February after Super Bowl weekend. When fans questioned her via Twitter, she denied the pregnancy rumors, saying that she was just gaining weight and told them to “let me fat in peace.”

A month later, pregnancy rumors swirled even more when she attended and performed at the iHeart Radio Music Awards wearing outfits that were clearly covering her belly, and also reports at the time suggested she would be a VERY pregnant woman by the time her Coachella performance came around.

By April, Cardi decided she was going to reveal the news herself, and confirmed her pregnancy by debuting her baby bump during her SNL performance the week before Coachella. She confirmed she was having a girl in May, and continued to work throughout her pregnancy, releasing videos and performing shows here and there, and even making a surprise appearance at the birthday bash in Atlanta in June.

The birth of Cardi and Offset’s daughter Kulture comes mere weeks after Cardi (born Belcalis Almanzar) confirmed that she and Offset (born Kiari Kendrell Cephus) secretly wed this past September, a month before he publicly “proposed” to her. “Well now since you lil nosey f**ks know at least ya can stop saying I had a baby out of wedlock,” she wrote on Twitter.

Baby Kulture is Cardi is her first child and her first with husband Offset, who already has three other children (two sons and a daughter—Jordan, Kody, and Kalea Marie) from previous relationships.

“Orange Is the New Black” Season 6 Trailer Shows Inmates Struggling in Litchfield Max

Netflix released the first official trailer for “Orange is the New Black” Season 6 on Monday (Jul. 9), and it looks like this season is going to be pretty bad for the women of Litchfield as they struggle to adjust to new life in the maximum security prison they were shipped off to after Season 5’s riot went terribly wrong.

From TV Line:

As you’ll recall, Season 5 ended on a major cliffhanger. A newly engaged Piper and Alex stood hand-in-hand with their fellow inmates — including Red, Nicky, Gloria, Taystee, Cindy, Suzanne, Blanca and Freida — waiting for the inevitable entry of armed officers following the conclusion of the prison riot. Meanwhile, the rest of the penitentiary’s populace got loaded onto buses and hauled to different prisons.

The trailer confirms everyone from the basement has been shipped to max—that is, except for Alex, who’s nowhere to be found. Additional inmates found in max include Lorna, Daya, Flaca, Pennsatucky and Boo, as well as unofficial prisoner Linda.

Eagle-eyed viewers will also spot Lolly (at the 1:23 mark in the trailer), who was last seen at the tail end of Season 4. At the time, she took the fall for Alex, who murdered Kubra’s hitman, and was dragged off to a psychiatric ward.

“Orange Is the New Black” Season 6 will hit Netflix at midnight PT (3 A.M. ET) on Friday, July 27th.

Check out the OITNB Season 6 trailer below:

“The Song Is Mine”: Did Brandy Shade Monica By Remixing “The Boy Is Mine” Lyrics?

Brandy is singlehandedly keeping the beef between her and Monica alive.

While performing at the 2018 Essence Music Festival in New Orleans, Brandy took the audience on a trip down memory lane by singing her 20-year-old hit single “The Boy Is Mine,” which also features Monica. During the song, Brandy switched the lyrics from “the boy is mine” to “the song is mine,” which was clearly meant to be shade towards Monica.

“The Boy Is Mine” was released as a joint single in May 1998 and was featured on Brandy’s second studio album Never Say Never. A month later, Monica also released the track as the lead single from her sophomore album titled The Boy Is Mine.

The song marked the first #1 Hot 100 hit for both artists and spent 13 weeks at the top of the chart. Both singers also won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group at the 1999 Grammy Awards.

It is believed that part of the song’s success came from ongoing rumors that Brandy and Monica had an unspoken rivalry. Monica also reportedly had an issue with Brandy performing the song on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno without her, and Brandy was reportedly upset with Monica for using the song’s title for the name of her album.

The beef gained so much traction that the singers’ managers were forced to release a joint statement addressing the feud after rumors began to swirl that the duo almost had a physical altercation while rehearsing for the 1998 MTV Video Music Awards. Their managers blamed the media, calling the behavior “disturbing” and saying that the “ongoing negativity [was] totally unfair.”

Although Brandy and Monica reunited 14 years later on “It All Belongs To Me” in 2012, it looks like Brandy still has some unfinished business to tend to and is taking the title of their 2012 collaboration literally.

Fans on Twitter were hella confused and quickly voiced their opinions online:

Of course, as some of the tweets above suggest, this is far from the first time Brandy has thrown shade at Monica. Based on our own records, Brandy has taken jabs at Monica at least seven times (including this one) over the past couple of years. See below for proof:

Jul. 18, 2016: Brandy Goes Full Diva and Shades Monica on Instagram, Then Deletes the Post

Aug. 27, 2016: Brandy Is Not Here For Monica or the #SoGoneChallenge

Sep. 17, 2016: Is Brandy OK? The Singer Responds to Monica’s “The Real” Interview With Strange Snapchat Videos

Nov. 28, 2016: Petty Brandy Throws Shade at Monica During Soul Train Awards Performance & on Instagram, Tamar Braxton Joins In

Nov. 29, 2016: Brandy’s Mama Sonja Norwood Joins in to Shade Monica on Instagram, and Brandy Is Not Letting the Beef Go

Aug. 9, 2017: Brandy Celebrates Whitney Houston’s Birthday by Insinuating the Icon Loved Her More Than Monica (Again)

Aug. 9, 2017: Black Twitter Drags Brandy for Claiming Whitney Houston Passed the Torch to Her Before Her Passing

As you can see, it’s clearly time for Brandy to move on with her life and let that hurt go. Because this beef is CLEARLY one-sided. Instead of focusing on the “boy is mine” part of the song, she needs to focus on the “you need to give it up” part.

Beyonce, JAY-Z & More to Perform at Global Citizen Festival Honoring Nelson Mandela in South Africa

A special Global Citizen Festival will be held in South Africa later this year in honor of Nelson Mandela, who died in 2013.

The concert, which will be held on December 2nd at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, will mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of the anti-apartheid leader and Nobel Peace Prize winner, organizers announced early Monday (Jul. 9). Beyoncé and JAY-Z are set to headline the show, which will also feature performances from Ed Sheeran, Pharrell Williams, Chris Martin, Usher and African artists including Wizkid, Cassper Nyovest, and Femi Kuti.

Oprah Winfrey will deliver a keynote address on Mandela’s legacy, organizers said. Other hosts will include Naomi Campbell and actors Forest Whitaker and Tyler Perry. The Global Citizen movement has a goal of ending extreme poverty by 2030, and with its Mandela campaign, it hopes to rake in at least $1 billion to help make that goal a reality.

“Global Citizen’s campaign, which aims to rally $1 billion in new commitments, with $500 million of that set to impact the lives of 20 million women and girls worldwide, will focus on the first six Global Goals: ending poverty, zero hunger, good health and well-being, quality education, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, and life below water,” the festival’s announcement reads.

In lieu of putting tickets on sale, the festival is asking fans to earn tickets through advocacy and social justice work starting August 21st. To sign up and find more info about the concert, head on over to the Global Citizen website.

“Power” Season 5 Episode 2 Recap: Tommy Gets in Trouble With the Italians, Dre Is (Unfortunately) Still Alive, and Ghost Turns Into Dexter

It was a rough couple of days for the characters of Power in Season 5 Episode 2 as everyone dealt with the consequences of their actions from the past.

Keisha is looking at the St. Patricks sideways because no one seems to be willing to fill her in on the circumstances surrounding Raina’s murder, even though it’s painfully obvious that they know what happened. Ghost and Tasha are having a rough time dealing with their daughter’s death, and it’s clear that they both feel responsible. That little life of crime Tariq was living last season may be coming back to bite him in the azz pretty hard, and I honestly can’t wait to see it happen.

Tommy is feeling the wrath of all of the different organizations he’s connected to—the Serbians and the Italians—over his various f*** ups. Dre has hired a couple of morons to help him run his organization, and it’s starting to backfire. Without even realizing it, Tommy is pretty much GIVING his new organization away to Kanan, who is working on backdoor deals to secure his own bag.

Angela is out here taking big risks with her career as an AUSA by helping cover up Tariq’s involvement in Raina’s murder and the subsequent revenge killing of Officer Raymond Jones (aka Ray Ray). Thanks to Mak, Proctor’s law license is on the line after helping his criminal clients get off scot-free on various crimes. And the AUSA team is hot on Ghost’s tail because of that one lady (Maria Suarez) who heard his voice when he killed her husband.

Now, let’s get into this recap, shall we?

Power Season 5 Episode 2, titled “Damage Control,” opens up with the Jimenez Cartel throwing a wrench into Jason’s L.A. port deal by offing a couple of the Serbians, which pisses Jason off, obviously. He later rolls up on Tommy, Ghost, and Kanan, blaming Tommy for the deal going south, and threatens to kill all three of them. But Tommy saves the day by offering to kill the Jimenez and agreeing to pay him the $2 million he lost from the failed port deal.

Lucky for Tommy though, he’ll have the help of Ghost and Kanan, because Jason pretty much required it. This is also a chance for the Three Amigos to kill two birds with one stone, because now that Dre is rolling with the Jimenez, they can off them all at the same time.

But those plans are immediately put on hold when Tommy is approached by Sammy, who forces him to take a ride with him to go visit a very badly wounded Carmine, thanks to Tommy’s botched hit on Dre (because Tariq wanted to be captain save-a-hoe).

When Carmine suggests that they tell Vincent what happened, Tommy pulls out his burner to put Carmine out of his misery, but Sammy quickly lets him know “that’s now how we do things” because Carmine is “Vincent’s godson” for Christ’s sake. Tommy puts his gun away and tells Sammy that he “just needs to talk to Teresi.” Sammy and Tommy then leave to get Carmine some “fresh bandages,” as if that’s going to help him. THIS MAN NEEDS A HOSPITAL, NOT BAND-AIDS.

Later, Tommy goes to visit his very pissed off daddy in jail. Because they’re communicating behind prison walls, Teresi has to be very covert in the way he reprimands Tommy for making him look bad in front of the Italians.

“I heard you threw a party, and a couple of guests didn’t show up,” Teresi tells Tommy. “The problem is, you didn’t invite the guest of honor. And you’re gonna tell him you threw that party. He’s gonna be pissed, and you’re gonna apologize like a man, and you’re gonna take whatever punishment he hands you, you understand me?”

In other words, man the hell up, tell Vincent you screwed up, and DON’T MESS UP LIKE THAT AGAIN, YOU HEAR ME?!

Tommy nods his head in agreement. “You should have come to me first,” Teresi tells him before giving him an angry look of disappointment and cutting their visit short. Tommy grew up without a father in his life, and it’s kind of funny seeing him get in trouble with his dad as a grown, 30-something-year-old man.

Things for Tommy get a little more complicated when he and Sammy return to Carmine and find him dead, and Vincent wants answers. Tommy finally confesses, but lies by telling Vincent he “took care” of whoever killed Carmine and Marco, and Sammy vouches for him. Vincent lets Tommy know that he appreciates the transparency, but he’s not getting off the hook that easily.

Vincent makes Tommy take a 50 percent loss on the weight they discussed in the previous episode, and Tommy promises to make restitution to the dead hitters’ families.

After Vincent leaves, but not before warning him not to tarnish Teresi’s good name, Tommy breathes a sigh of relief that he gets to live to see another day and attempts to thank Sammy for covering for him. But not so fast, because Sammy cold clocks Tommy not just once, but TWICE in the face for putting him in such a compromising position.

Sammy says he told Teresi he wouldn’t let Vincent hurt him, but he didn’t say anything about him not punishing him. “I’m not lying for you ever again,” Sammy warns Tommy, who is quickly learning that being a part of an Italian mob family isn’t as glamorous as it looks in the movies.

Back at the AUSA’s office, Angela and Co. tie the gold gun used to kill Uriel last season to the murder of the couple we watched die in their penthouse apartment last season. This, along with the La Araña card found on the Cruz family’s bodies, leads the AUSAs to the conclusion that the Jimenez are the connect for the Toros Locos gang, which is huge, because if they can connect the Jimenez siblings to the killings, it’ll be a major win for the Feds.

Angela has a rather awkward run-in with her colleague D. Gaines—the same guy whose login she used to delete Tasha’s gun from the system—who congratulates her on her promotion and also asks her to check in with IT because his login is all of a sudden not working. Something tells me this isn’t going to end well for at least one of these people.

In a subsequent meeting with the AUSA team, Angela reveals her big break in the Cruz murder case. After reviewing the surveillance footage from the building, she sees Diego Jimenez leaving the building the day of the murder, along with a woman carrying a baby. With the Feds working under the assumption that the other Jimenez is a brother, not a sister, Angela posits that the woman carrying the baby is Diego’s wife, and if so, “I can get her to talk.”

While Angela seems pretty confident in front of her co-workers, she’s not as certain when it comes to the whole Tasha/Tariq mess she’s found herself smack dab in the middle of. Throughout most of the episode, she spends her time trying to figure out if anyone else can link Tariq to Ray Ray, and finds out that the only two people that could—Brains and Big Country, the guys from Kanan’s burglary ring—are dead. She tells Tasha this in one of several private meetings and Tasha is relieved that as long as Tariq doesn’t get linked to the burglaries, he should be OK.

Dre is finding out very quickly that being a boss ain’t easy, and also, Diego Jimenez is a voyeuristic psychopath. Dre walks in on Diego having a threesome in front of huge floor-to-ceiling windows in his apartment, and when Dre tries to leave, Diego insists that he stays because the fact that he has a live audience excites him even more.

After Diego … finishes … he, still completely naked, expresses to Dre how he’s not happy about losing 86 keys of product to the feds because of a raid, which he blames Dre for. The good news, though, is that he was able to seize some product from the Serbians (remember Jason’s failed L.A. port deal at the beginning of the episode?), and he wants Dre to move it quickly to help recoup all of the money they lost due to the raid.

Diego also brings up all of the fighting within the Toros Locos gang now that they don’t have a leader yet, and he wants Dre to swoop in and fix it immediately because neither he nor his sister Alicia “have the time for f**** ups.” Dre ensures Diego that he’ll take care of it as well as secure the nightclub deal he stole from Ghost last season.

Following his meeting with Diego, we catch up with Dre and one of his goons, a reckless opportunistic fellow by the name of 2-Bit. Dre explains to 2-Bit that their first Jimenez shipment is coming in and he wants him to be there to receive it. Of course, 2-Bit jumps at the opportunity because this would essentially make him the next man in charge.

Cristobal walks in, and you can tell he’s not too trusting of Dre’s minion, and asks to talk to Dre alone, but Dre insists that 2-Bit is cool, which he later finds out was a HUGE mistake. Cristobal tells Dre what’s going on with the Toros and suggests that Dre take out the youngest member, which would shift power to Lorenzo. 2-Bit suggests that they take out Lorenzo instead of the younger Toros member because he would be easier to control. Dre agrees with 2-Bit, and he and Cristobal come up with a plan that involves killing the hitmen after they take of Lorenzo so that the hit can’t be traced back to them.

Outside, Ghost and Kanan see Dre and Cristobal leaving the warehouse. Ghost wants to kill Dre right then and there, but Kanan points out that they need Dre to lead them to the Jimenez.

Their conversation quickly pivots to Tariq, who Kanan says reminds him of Ghost when he was that age, only Tariq is even more of a thug than Ghost was. Ghost says he doesn’t want that life for his son, and after they get rid of Dre, he’s out the game for good. Kanan then puts a bug in Ghost’s ear that if Tommy didn’t f*** up the deal with the Italians, Dre would already be dead and Ghost could have already moved on with his life. Is Kanan trying to pit Tommy and Ghost against each other? Because it sure as hell sounds like it.

Later, we find out why Cristobal was giving 2-Bit the side-eye, because this guy is NUTS. While riding around with Spank, they spot Lorenzo and use that as an opportunity to take him out in hopes of impressing Dre and moving up in the ranks. But what those idiots don’t know is that if the Toros finds out that they killed Lorenzo, it could all fall back on Dre, which would be bad news for their organization.

As you can imagine, Dre is pretty pissed when 2-Bit waltzes in bragging about how he killed Lorenzo and calls him by his government name “Francis,” because what’s a better way to express your anger with someone than yelling their corny birth name in their face. “The Jimenez and these clubs really got you thinking you’re better than everybody else?” 2-Bit (aka Francis) yells at his former equal.

Dre reminds 2-Bit that he’s the boss now, and he is to do whatever he tells him to do from this point forward, no ifs and or buts. Dre also lets him know that him and Spanky will no longer be working their corner as punishment for this. Meanwhile, in a car across the street, Kanan—who has been following Dre the whole episode—sees (and hears, due to the shouting) everything. Later, Dre meets up with Arturo, the younger Toros Locos member, and acts like he thinks Arturo is the one who took Lorenzo out. And a hella confused Arturo just goes along with it.

Saxe not only wants to take down Ghost, but he also wants to end Angela’s career, which, she probably deserves at this point. Mak feels like it’s a waste of time for them to parade a blindfolded witness in front of the jury, but Saxe thinks otherwise and is 100% convinced that this is the opportunity take down both Ghost and Angela. Saxe has his way of bringing Ghost and Angela down, and Mak has his.

Mak’s way of ending Ghost is to get his lawyer, Joe Proctor, to flip on him. But little does he know, Joe is the most loyal attorney in the world, especially when it comes to his #1 client, Ghost. Also, he’s probably afraid of what would happen to him if he ever decides to flip on Ghost. Remember last season when Tommy threatened Proctor and basically told him, “you’re in the family now” while holding a knife to his neck? Right after he watched Tommy murder someone? Yeah, I’m pretty sure Joe doesn’t want those types of problems in his life.

Mak pops up on Proctor while he’s enjoying a drink at the bar with his friends, and offers to withdraw his conflict of interest complaint in his upcoming bar committee hearing if Proctor gives him the information he needs on his clients (aka Ghost). Joe immediately shuts Mak down, but as John is leaving, he casually mentions that Joe needs his job to take care of his daughter.

Now that he knows Proctor isn’t going to cooperate, he moves on to Plan B. He ambushes Proctor’s former second council on Ghost’s trial and Tasha’s side piece, Terry Silver, who Mak nows has some issues with Proctor, and his testimony would help put the nail in the coffin that is Proctor’s legal career, but Terry doesn’t want to testify against his former colleague. Unfortunately for Terry, Mak is pretty smart, and slides a subpoena in his jacket, forcing him to appear in court anyway.

At his hearing, Proctor holds his own pretty well because he’s been down this road before. This is the third time, to be exact. The only difference is that Mak is out to get him and he’s forced Terry Silver to testify against him. During the hearing, we find out a little bit of info regarding Proctor’s past, as he explains why he doesn’t use his birth name.

After the death of his father, who was acquitted of attempted murder charges, Joe took his stepfather’s last name when his mother re-married. He said he was happy to change his last name due to his father’s side of the family’s extensive criminal history because that doesn’t represent who he is. “Just because I stand beside criminals in rooms like this, doesn’t mean that I am a criminal,” he says.

Everything seems to be going well for Joe until the judges introduce his former co-council Terry Silver as a witness. Terry admits that he did ask Proctor to recuse himself from James St. Patrick’s murder case due to a conflict of interest between St. Patrick and his other client Thomas Egan.

Terry pointed out that Proctor refused and told James not to take a plea deal that would have also been an admission of guilt for a crime he didn’t commit because he was innocent. Proctor then flips the situation on Terry by asking him if there was ever a time where he compromised himself for a client who he felt was innocent, to which Terry replies no, but we all know that’s a lie.

Ghost and Tasha are obviously having a hard time dealing with Raina’s death. While Tasha seems to be the most grief-stricken of the pair, Ghost is showing that he’s falling apart in his own way. Tasha spends most of her time crying in Raina’s room, while Ghost spends his avoiding it. “You can’t come in, and I can’t leave,” Tasha says to Ghost.

Tasha brings up the idea of attending a grief counseling group for parents who’ve lost children, and Ghost reluctantly agrees to do it just for her. At the meeting, while listening to stories from the other grief-stricken parents, one particular story sticks out to Ghost about a couple whose son died six months ago at the hands of a drunk driver a week from his 16th birthday, and how the man continues to stop by a liquor store daily, continuing to drink and drive. “It’s only a matter of time before he kills another kid,” the man says before asking, “Is it wrong to want him dead?” Tasha tries to raise her hand to share her story, but Ghost grabs it to keep her from speaking.

Outside their apartment, Tasha expresses to Ghost how she needs to talk to someone, but Ghost tells her that’s a bad idea because “those people don’t understand what we’re going through” and “it’s best to not say anything at all.” After angrily getting out of the car, Tasha drops a truth bomb on Ghost: “Maybe we should ask the Reverend to refer us to a support group for families of murdering drug dealers! They’ll understand us right, Ghost?”

Councilman Tate, slithering around like the snake that he is, is obviously using Raina’s death to help him get elected governor of New York, but he’s disguising his mission as caring about Raina and wanting to help James and Tasha get through their rough time.

In a one-on-one meeting about the community center they’ve been working together on, Tate lets James know that he is bad for business after Raina’s murder, which doesn’t look good in regards to their fundraising efforts. Tate says in order for him to allow James to continue to work with him on this, they’ll need to solve Raina’s murder. James says it’s out of his hands at this point, but Tate suggests that the St. Patricks hold a press conference to offer a reward to help the NYPD solve the case. Ghost is hesitant, but says he’ll speak with Tasha about it.

Without hesitation, Tasha immediately shuts that sh** down with the quickness, considering they already know who Raina’s killer is, and speaking about it so publicly could make matters worse for the family, especially Tariq. James lets Tate know that they won’t be able to speak at the press conference, but they’ll at least attend.

And in an unsurprising move, Tate puts them on the spot when they arrive, and invites them to the podium to talk about Raina. Tasha and James, completely caught off guard by Tate’s sneakiness, speak about their daughter without revealing anything, and afterward, Tasha goes in on Ghost for setting for her up, but Ghost says that it was Tate who set them both up. James then turns his anger to Tate, who couldn’t care less because it’s all about the “QCP numbers” for him. And this is exactly why people don’t trust politicians.

After multiple failed attempts at reaching out to Angela, Ghost is starting to lose it. He even left her a voicemail telling her “he’s not doing so good.” After she ignores his phone call for the second time in a row, Ghost turns to a bottle of liquor to help ease his pain.

Remember the story about the father who stalks his son’s killer outside the liquor store he frequents? Well, Ghost has taken it upon himself to track the man down and follows him to a nearby alley before brutally stabbing him to death. Has Ghost now become a vigilante, Dexter-style? Or was this just his way of lashing out for his daughter’s murder? It’s hard to say, but based on how this show works, I wouldn’t be surprised if this somehow comes back to haunt Ghost down the road.

Extras:

  • Mak and Co. find out via the prison’s visitors’ logs that Tommy is Tony Teresi’s son, which can’t be a good thing.
  • Tommy looks like he wants that old thing back with Keisha, who may be vulnerable enough at this point to give him some play.
  • Kanan is a sneaky motherf***** for going behind Tommy’s back and planning on setting up his own meeting with the Serbians.
  • Is it bothering anyone else that Tariq—who took drugs, did hoodrat things with Kanan, was largely responsible for the death of his twin sister, and then killed an undercover cop—isn’t receiving ANY type of punishment from his parents? Maybe they’re too distraught over Raina’s death to focus on their son and his ain’t sh*tness, but if he were my child, I definitely wouldn’t even be considering sending him off to some fancy private school as if he deserves to be rewarded for anything at this point.

Britney Allgood: Fast Facts About Memphis Teen Fatally Stabbed During Fight

A homicide investigation is underway in Memphis following an incident in which a teen was stabbed to death while fighting another girl around her age this week.

18-year-old Britney Allgood lost her life late Thursday (Jul. 5) after getting into a fight with another woman later identified on social media as Bianca Sims.

Cell phone footage showing the fight and the stabbing went viral on social media.

According to WSOC-TV, police were called to the scene of what they described as a “neighborhood fight” Friday, and when they arrived, they found two women, who witnesses said knew each other, fighting. “Once she pulled off, the victim was bleeding heavily,” one witness told Fox 13 Memphis.

Britney Allgood, a recent high school graduate, was taken to St. Francis Hospital, where she later died from her injuries. Bianca Sims, the woman responsible for the stabbing,  remained on the scene and was later detained by officers, but wasn’t charged.

According to MPD, this is an “ongoing investigation” as they determine whether the homicide was justifiable.

Here’s what you need to know about Britney Allgood and the stabbing incident that took her life:

1Britney Allgood was fighting a girl named Bianca Sims when she was fatally stabbed. The fight was apparently related to an ongoing “beef” over a boy Britney’s friend was dating.

Memphis police said two young women got into a fight near the intersection of Knight Arnold and Ridgeway around 6 p.m. Thursday evening (Jul. 5) The fight happened between two females who knew each other, police said. Those two women were 18-year-old Britney Allgood and a woman later identified on social media as Bianca Sims.

At one point during the fight, Bianca pulled out a knife and stabbed Britney. Britney was taken to St. Francis Hospital by private vehicle and later died as a result of her injuries. Bianca remained on the scene and was detained by officers, but she wasn’t charged with anything.

According to one woman on Facebook, the fight was the result of an ongoing beef over the past year between Bianca and a friend of Britney’s over a boy.

“Everything started when I got with my Ex that is currently Britney’s best friend (Rossiar) boyfriend,” a woman using the name “Kash Key” wrote on Facebook. “Rossiar started wanting to fight because of the simple fact that the lil nothing a** boy wanted me. Rossiar, Rossiar’s mother, and [Rossiar’s] friend followed me and the boy to the Southaven Mall and was trying to jump me then. So of course just like anybody else folks my people [were] pissed off about it & that’s when [Rossiar’s] best friend (Britney) got in the situation. This is [an] ongoing beef since like last year.”

2Cell phone video footage showing the moment Britney Allgood was stabbed went viral on social media.

Video footage showing the fight and the moment Britney Allgood was stabbed by Bianca Sims was shared on social media, where it quickly went viral.

The viral cell phone footage also showed a baby being taken from a car near the chaos at one point. In one clip, a woman can be heard saying “don’t shoot!” insinuating that someone had pulled out a gun. “She cut the sh** out of her,” says another man off-camera. “With the big knife?” the woman asks. “Yeah,” the man replies.

A man named Julius Hughes told WREG Memphis that he saw the commotion as he was driving by. “I busted a U-Turn because I was trying to figure out what was going on and I understand she was stabbed, blood was coming from everywhere,” Hughes said. “It was broad daylight. It was hot. It was broad daylight. It’s crazy out here, this area’s known for a lot of crime, it’s getting bad out here.”

Another eyewitness, who didn’t want to be named, said he was leaving work when he saw the fight. He said he saw one of the women pull out a knife and stab the other. The stabbing victim (Britney Allgood) could be seen in the video footage running from the scene.

“Once she pulled off, the victim was bleeding heavily,” the anonymous witness told Fox 13 Memphis. “It’s like they were trying to jump the young lady, the victim,” the eyewitness said, adding that many other spectators were also recording the incident with their cell phones. “One girl had her camera out and was hitting the girl at the same time her friend was dying,” he said.

3Someone who was with Britney Allgood allegedly pulled out a gun during the fight, and Bianca Sims is claiming she stabbed Britney out of self-defense because her baby was in the car.

Friends of Bianca’s, some of whom were present during the altercation, say that she stabbed Britney out of self-defense because a man who was with Britney pulled out a gun and pointed it at the back of Bianca’s car, where her baby was sitting.

Kash Key wrote on Facebook: “The day Britney was stabbed Bianca was taking her baby to the Emergency Room, Britney and a car full of girls and a boy seen Bianca waiting at a stop sign by her house and turned around and started following her (FOR EVERYBODY SAYING “WHY WOULD SHE BRING HER BABY TO A MEET UP”). She was telling them that she wasn’t [about to] do all that [while] her baby was in the car & the dude with the gun was hanging out the back seat pointing a gun towards Bianca’s back seat to where her baby was.”

Kash Key continued: “Bianca stopped at a gas station where PLENTY [of] people [were]. They approached Bianca car, THEY OPENED HER DOOR. That is SELF DEFENSE FOR SURE. The Detectives pulled the City street cameras and seen the car who was following Bianca Ran 2 red lights trying to get to her and they also pulled the store cameras and seen that they approached her car! That’s why ITS A JUSTIFIABLE HOMICIDE.”

Kash Key also answered the question as to why Bianca had a knife in the car to begin with, and she also cleared up some discrepancies with the stories, most notably the fact that local media outlets are saying that Britney was stabbed in the head, which Kash Key said isn’t true.

“Just because we all had words in the past [does] not justify them pointing a gun towards her baby or putting her baby in harm’s way. Just like Bianca should’ve never pulled over they should’ve never been following her. Y’all can come up with however many stories y’all want to but FACTS [ARE] FACTS, and what’s done is done,” she said. “And as far as Bianca having a knife in the car she [KEEPS] a knife in the car, pepper spray too. The same reason these n****s walk around with guns every day. AND FOR EVERYBODY ASKING ‘WHY SHE DIDNT STAB THE BOY,’ the boy wasn’t the one who opened her door, Britney was! And all the news information is FALSE, Britney was NOT stabbed in the head.”

Read Kash Key’s entire Facebook post below:

4Britney’s cousins say the gun was pulled out AFTER Britney was stabbed and they’re questioning Bianca’s claim that she was driving her baby to the ER at the time of the incident.

After the incident, Britney’s cousins went on Facebook Live and explained their side of the story.

They said that the story from Bianca’s people saying that a gun was pulled out at the beginning of the fight was not true. According to Britney’s cousins, the gun was pulled out AFTER Britney was stabbed.

Britney’s cousins also questioned Bianca’s claim that she was driving her baby to the Emergency Room at the time of the incident.

“She [Bianca] claims she was taking her baby to the emergency room for some odd reason. But, why you at a gas station? Oh, ’cause they was following you. Why would you pull up at the gas station, b**ch go to the emergency room, the f*** is you pulling up at the gas station for. I wanna know the real story, that’s all I wanna know.

“It’s too many stories. First of all, y’all said she was going to the Emergency Room. But, on the post, how the f*** was she going to the Emergency Room when she was supposed to ‘meet up’ with Britney. But, next thing you know, I hear Britney was supposed to be waiting on Rossia at the pool. So what the f*** really going on.

“You had a knife on you for what? That [doesn’t] sound right. Why would you ride around with a kitchen knife on you? … Damn right they had a gun, and guess what, fool? The gun got pulled after Britney got stabbed, leaking, dying, running…

“They hollering about gun this and gun that… the gun was pulled out after Britney was stabbed. You can see Britney running, fool. And then they like, ‘Don’t shoot, don’t shoot.’ Damn right, don’t shoot. Britney was already f***ing gushing.”

Keyshia Cole Confirms Pregnancy: She’s Having a Baby With Her Young Bae Niko Khalé

UPDATE: Keyshia Cole says she was just trolling about the whole pregnancy thing.

“I KINDA APOLOGIZE for #TROLLING yesterday, telling y’all I was ##Preggo !!!! Buuuuuuut y’all need to stop body [shaming] me and sayin I’m [PREGNANT] EVERY OTHER DAY !!!! Like seriously, it hurts my feelings HER @fashionnova thought it was sweet that you all were excited about the news tho @NikoKhale.”

Original story:

Keyshia Cole is pregnant with her second child.

Just days after a gossip site spilled the tea that Keyshia Cole was pregnant with her young boyfriend’s baby, the 36-year-old singer decided to go on ahead and confirm the news herself via Instagram.

In an Instagram post advertising clothing brand Fashion Nova on Thursday, Keyshia confirmed her pregnancy with the use of hashtags: “#PreggoInMyFashionNovaFit #CongradulationsAreInOrder” and the weary and devil face emojis.

Gossip In The City broke the news via their private Facebook group first Sunday evening (Jul. 1), writing, “Keyshia Cole a** is pregnant by the little boy. I thought they broke up but they didn’t. She should announce it soon as she makes it past the safe zone.”

We’re not sure if Keyshia is “past the safe zone” just yet, but it looks like Gossip In The City’s report made her go on ahead and announce the news herself.

Though she didn’t explicitly reveal who her baby daddy is, it wouldn’t be wrong to assume that it’s her 22-year-old rapper boyfriend Niko Khalé, considering she just posted a photo of him with her and her son DJ on the 4th of July.

“#HAPPY4Th from Me and My loves @daniel_gibsonjr & @nikokhale,” she captioned the pic.

Khalé posted the same photo along with another one of just him and Keyshia. He captioned his pic: “Jus livin our best lives.”

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bk3a4NcBOfN/?taken-by=nikokhale

DJ (Daniel Gibson Jr.) is Keyshia’s 8-year-old son with her ex-husband, former NBA player Daniel Gibson. Cole and Gibson split in 2014 and documented the aftermath of their divorce on last season of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, which showed off a pretty awkward living arrangement (he was living in her house).

If you’ve been following Keyshia and Niko’s relationship, you’ll know that the couple broke up not even a full month ago.

RELATED: Keyshia Cole Breaks Up With 22-Year-Old Boyfriend Niko Khalé, Deletes All Instagram Photos

Back in mid-June, Keyshia deleted all of her Instagram photos and made her account private, and Niko deleted most of the pictures and videos of Keyshia he had on his page as well. He also posted a photo of himself with the caption, “What’s far fetched to a dog off the leash?” (insinuating that he was single) before changing it to “My drip a little different” after folks started asking him questions in the comments.

But it looks like all of that is in the past for the couple, who have only been dating for a few months. Niko has even updated his IG with a bunch of new photos/videos of Keyshia. “N**** that’s ALL ME… she ain’t goin no where,” he captioned one pic. He even posted a video of the two of them enjoying some of his new music:

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bky-D7Eh2Xh/?taken-by=nikokhale

Keyshia and Niko first went public with their relationship on social media back in February, and the two have regularly posted photos of each other on their respective accounts since. She even wrote a lengthy post defending her relationship against “judgemental” people:

“Now the reason I’m posting The pepper to my salt @nikokhale is because he’s been such a sweetheart to me, and I know people have been very judgmental about our relationship but I gotta nurture what nurtures me.”

Mugshot Madness: Chris Brown Arrested for Felony Battery Warrant After Concert in Florida

Right after a concert in Florida Thursday night (Jul. 5), Chris Brown was arrested and booked into the Palm Beach County jail over a felony battery warrant from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Brown had a show at the Coral Sky Amphitheater in West Palm Beach Thursday, and several officers were waiting there for him to finish. When he exited the stage, he was promptly arrested.

According to PBSO officials, the singer posed for a mugshot (above) and was released after paying a $2,000 bond.

The warrant was issued in connection with an incident at a Tampa nightclub in April 2017 in which Chris allegedly attacked a photographer.

Oh Lawd, Not Again: Kirk Frost Is Reportedly Having ANOTHER BABY With a Woman Who is NOT Rasheeda

Here we go again. The word on the curb is that Kirk Frost is having ANOTHER baby with ANOTHER woman who is NOT Rasheeda.

Yes, you read that right. After spending the Season 7 of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta in the biggest dog house ever after it was “confirmed” that he fathered a lovechild with former stripper Jasmine Washington, it seemed like Kirk was getting back on his wife Rasheeda’s good side. I mean, she did let him back in the house after all, even though she “cut it in half” with the help of blue painter’s tape. But still… progress, right?

And now, reports (via Gossip In The City) are floating around the internet that all of that progress may be completely thrown out the window … because he’s STILL cheating on Rasheeda, and not only that, but ANOTHER stripper is carrying his child.

A screenshot posted on GITC’s Instagram shows a Facebook post from someone making the not-so-shocking claims. “Kirk cheated on Rasheeda AGAIN… If she ain’t sick of him I SHO AM!!” the post reads. “Some girl on IG posted her baby saying he the father, she a stripper like Jasmine, know he like those type.”

Does this story sound familiar to you? Well, it should, because we spent the majority of 2017 trying to figure out whether or not Jasmine Washington’s son was Kirk’s, and according to a paternity test, he IS the father of Baby Kannon. Rasheeda filed for divorce, and after Kirk’s mother passed away, the pair grew closer and reconciled.

On a recent episode of LHHATL, Kirk was tricked into meeting Baby Kannon at a park by his daughter Kelsie.

A source revealed to Hollywood Life last August that Kirk and Rasheeda’s relationship was repaired with the help of couple’s counseling. “Rasheeda and Kirk are in couples counseling and it’s amazing how much it’s helping,” the tipster said. “They’re going very deep and Rasheeda says she’s actually starting to understand Kirk better and why he does the crazy things that he does. He’s not off the hook, but it’s easier for her to find forgiveness for him.”

But if Kirk has indeed gotten another stripper pregnant, I don’t think any form of couple’s therapy is going to repair their marriage this time around. In fact, I have a feeling this is going to be Rasheeda’s exact reaction:

Or at least it should be.

Police Issue Arrest Warrant for Robert Allen, Second Person of Interest in XXXTentacion’s Murder

Police are still looking for the men responsible for the murder of Florida rapper XXXTentacion, and while they already have one suspect in custody, two others remain at large.

According to the Sun-Sentinel, a Broward County judge has signed off on a warrant for the arrest of 22-year-old Robert Allen of Ft. Lauderdale. The warrant was signed Tuesday (Jul. 3), 10 days after Allen was named a person of interest in the killing of XXXTentacion.

Allen was reportedly seen in surveillance video footage at RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach on June 18th—the same day XXXTentacion was shopping there and was later shot and killed. Allen’s arrest warrant, which isn’t related to the homicide investigation, was issued June 28th.

The Broward County Sheriff’s Office said that Allen has been on probation for possessing PVP, also known as “flakka,” and for carrying a concealed firearm. According to his arrest warrant, he has “failed to make every effort” to find a job and owes the state more than $3,000 for community supervision.

XXX was behind the wheel of his black BMW i8 when he was killed. An SUV blocked X’s car as it was leaving RIVA Motorsports’ parking lot, and two gunmen—one in a black mask, the other wearing a red mask—jumped out of the SUV and struggled with the artist, whose real name was Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, before shooting him multiple times and making off with his Louis Vuitton bag filled with cash.

22-year-old Dedrick Devonshay Williams of Pompano Beach, Florida, the driver of the SUV, was arrested June 20th—just two days after XXXTentacion’s murder—and faces a premeditated murder charge. Police don’t believe he was the person who pulled the trigger and they are searching for two other suspects Wiliams is being held without bond at the Broward County main jail facility. An internet rumor suggested he was raped and assaulted in the jail’s shower, but officials at the jail debunked that story, saying nothing of the sort happened.

XXXTentacion was laid to rest last week in a private mausoleum following two services—a public memorial attended by thousands of fans at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL and a private funeral service attended by family, close friends and industry peers.

His mother, Cleopatra Bernard, shared on Instagram a photo of his mausoleum, which is located in Gardens Memorial Park in Boca Raton, Florida.

XXXTentacion’s Mother Shares Photo of Rapper’s Burial Site, a HUGE Private Mausoleum

XXXTentacion’s mother made sure her late son was put away VERY nicely.

Following XXXTentacion’s private funeral service last Thursday, his mother, Cleopatra Bernard, shared a photo on her Instagram page of XXX’s final resting place. In lieu of a traditional burial site, Cleopatra opted for a massive private mausoleum for X.

“My guardian angel,” Bernard wrote in the photo’s caption on IG. The mausoleum bears XXXTentacion’s name across the top in large font, along with his real name, Jahseh D. Onfroy, below in a smaller font.

The grey and black monument was flanked by red, black and silver flowers—the same flowers that were placed near his casket at his public memorial and private funeral.

Fans have said that XXX’s burial site is located in Gardens Memorial Park in Boca Raton, Florida and his mother plans on hiring security to guard it 24/7.

XXXTentacion was shot and killed during an apparent robbery attempt outside of a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida on June 18th. So far, police have made one arrest related to the shooting. 22-year-old Dedrick Williams is currently being held on a first-degree murder charge at the Broward County Jail without bond while his two accomplices are at large.

Last week, the music video for XXX’s latest single “SAD!” was posthumously released, which eerily depicted the rapper attending his own funeral. The video was reportedly shot weeks before his murder.

“SAD!” skyrocketed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 marking the first time an artist has posthumously reached the top of the chart since Notorious B.I.G. in 1997. Cardi B’s “I Like It” (ft. Bad Bunny & J Balvin) knocked X’s single down to No. 2 this week.
