Andre 3000 Says He’s Not Motivated to Make New Music: “My Focus Isn’t There, My Confidence Isn’t There”

For years, Andre 3000 fans have been anxiously waiting for new music, whether it be a solo album or an Outkast project, but a new interview the rap legend recently did with the Broken Record podcast suggests he won’t be releasing anything in the foreseeable future.

“I haven’t been making much music, man,” Three Stacks told Rick Rubin around the 13:30 minute mark in the podcast. “My focus is not there, my confidence is not there.”

He continued: “I tinker a lot. I’ll just go to a piano and I’ll set my iPhone down and just record what I’m doing, moving my fingers and whatever happens, but I haven’t been motivated to do a serious project.

“I’d like to, but it’s just not coming. In my own self, I’m tryna figure out where do I sit. I don’t even know what I am and maybe I’m nothing. Maybe I’m not supposed to be anything.

“Maybe my history is kinda handicapping, in a way, so I’m just trying to find out what makes me feel the best right now. And what makes me feel the best is when I just do these random instrumental things. They make me feel the most rebellious … I don’t like to go with the flow, really. I don’t know why but I just feel best when I don’t, so I have to honor that.”

Andre went on to elaborate on how his massive success and the pressures of fame have stifled his creativity.

“Any little thing I put out is instantly attacked, not in a good or bad way,” he said. “People nitpick it with fine-tooth combs. ‘Oh, he said that word!’ And that’s not a great place to create from. And it makes you draw back and maybe I don’t have the confidence that I want or the space to experiment like I used to.”

We hope that changes sometime soon … because if it’s one thing the world needs is new music from Andre 3000.

For now, we’ll have to just learn to live with wholesome stories of him randomly being spotted by fans playing the flute in public places like airports.

NY Teen Karol Sanchez Tells Police She Faked Kidnapping to Be With 23-Year-Old Boyfriend Who’s a Crip

As new details emerge in the staged kidnapping case of Karol Sanchez, it’s being reported that the 16-year-old told police she faked her abduction so that she could be with her 23-year-old boyfriend, who is a reputed member of the Crips gang.

Blurry surveillance footage captured a harrowing scene Monday night just before 11:30 p.m. in which two men emerged from a beige sedan and snatched Karol Sanchez out of the street as she walked with her mother along Eagle Avenue in the Melrose area of the Bronx.

The mom tried to fight the men off, but she was shoved to the ground as they forced Sanchez into the car, which contained another two men, and sped off down East 156th Street, police said.

The New York Police Department quickly issued an Amber Alert, and the neighborhood was flooded with posters showing Sanchez’s picture.

Less than 24 hours later, around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sanchez reappeared at the same spot where she was “abducted” the night before and turned herself in to police.

It was at that point that Sanchez admitted to authorities that she staged the whole thing with four male accomplices, who all turned out to be friends of hers, with one of them believed to be her gangbanger boyfriend.

According to the New York Post, Sanchez’s boyfriend—whose name is being withheld because he hasn’t been charged with a crime in the staged kidnapping case yet—has a number of prior arrests on his record, including one for murder and another for attempted murder.

Police sources said Sanchez’s fake kidnapping was a plan concocted by the couple so that they could be together.

Sanchez was also upset that her mother planned to uproot the family from NYC to return to her native country Honduras.

“Her mother wanted to move them back to Honduras, but she [Karol] was adamantly against it,” said one high-ranking NYPD source.

Police said Karol, for now, isn’t expected to face any charges for her role in the fake kidnapping, however, that could possibly change as more developments emerge in the case.

The other people involved in the staged abduction haven’t been charged yet either.

Also, contrary to previous reports, the Sanchez family aren’t residents of the Bronx. They live about 90 minutes north of the city in upstate Poughquag, and were visiting relatives at the time of the incident.

Tekashi 6ix9ine Sentenced to 2 Years in Prison With 5 Years of Supervised Release

Tekashi 6ix9ine will NOT be walking away from court today a free man as suggested by previous reports … because the judge says 13 months in custody is not enough time for the serious crimes he’s accused of.

Tekashi, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, appeared in federal court Wednesday (Dec. 18) for sentencing in his racketeering case, and Judge Paul A. Engelmayer revealed that the rapper will not be released from prison with time served.

“Mr. Hernandez, I’ve given it a lot of close thought, including your cooperation. The following are my thoughts…

“You are in custody for 13 months. I agree you deserve a great deal of credit for cooperation. However,  I cannot agree with your counsel that time served is appropriate. In my judgment, your conduct is too violent and selfish to make 13 months reasonable. You will not be going free today.”

Engelmayer’s judgment also included mentions of incidents with rappers Trippie Redd, Chief Keef and Casanova, with the judge also noting: “Before you, the gang didn’t fight with rap entourages. They had no independent interest in going after musicians and their management groups … I reject the portrait of you as a passive participant.”

Judge Engelmayer later added:

“Mr Hernandez, if you expected to be released today, you will be disappointed. But you were wise to cooperate. Your cooperation will result in years more liberty.

“It is the judgment of the court you are to serve a term of 24 months in prison, with five years of supervised release.”

Because Tekashi has already spent 13 months in jail, that means he’ll only have to serve 11 months of that 24-month sentence … meaning he will be out of prison sometime in November 2020.

Once he’s out, he will spend the next five years on “supervised release,” and will be required to perform 300 hours of community service and pay a $35,000 fine.

Tekashi faced the possibility of life in prison, so while he will not be released today, 11 months is a far cry from what he was facing.

“The Breakfast Club” Explains Why Tekashi 6ix9ine Isn’t Welcome Back on Their Show If He’s Released From Prison

Today is the day we find out whether or not Tekashi 6ix9ine will be walking out of court as a free man.

With his potential release looming, the rapper’s team has apparently reached out to The Breakfast Club hosts Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy separately to offer them first dibs on his first interview … at an undisclosed location, of course, since so many people want Tekashi’s head.

However, neither Charlamagne nor Envy are even remotely interested in giving Tekashi Snitch9ine a platform, and they both explained their reasonings on The Breakfast Club Tuesday (Dec. 7).

“I feel like he used his gang affiliation to benefit himself,” Envy said. “First, he came out, he was allegedly a Crip, then he was allegedly a Blood, and he was talking crazy online for clout and for people to stream his music and it worked.”

Envy continued: “When that backfired, then you decided to tell on everyone that you was just riding on. All those hits that you allegedly did, that didn’t work for you. So what do you do, you turn on everybody? You get released and you’re rewarded for it?

“I just don’t necessarily think it’s a message that I wanna do. I don’t want to promote to kids that you go wild and do some stupid ish and you just go tell on the people you’ve done and all of a sudden you come out and can put out records and it’s all cool.”

Charlamagne agreed with Envy about not wanting to be associated with the troubled rapper following his legal drama.

He also said he doesn’t believe a 6ix9ine interview, at this stage, would offer anything of educational value to listeners, and he doesn’t feel like the rainbow-haired troublemaker has truly learned his lesson.

“When we sit down with someone, it has to entertain or educate or possibly both,” Charla said. “Would it be entertaining? I’m sure it would be. But I think it could absolutely send the wrong message.

“There’s a lot of misinformation in that 6ix9ine situation. It doesn’t feel like there’s been any accountability on his part and it would be irresponsible of us to empower that dysfunction.”

Stepping in to play devil’s advocate, Yee said Tekashi could be a changed man after spending time behind bars, and suggested that giving him an interview could provide him a platform to tell his side of his story.

“What about if there is a story of redemption here?” she asked. “What about if there is a lesson to be learned for people? We don’t know what it is yet.”

Charlamagne explained that doing interviews should be the least of Tekashi’s worries.

“That young man has a target on his back,” he said. “He needs to come home and figure out his life. Figure out who he is as a man before he jumps into the character of 6ix9ine. Daniel Hernandez has to do some soul searching.”

RHOA Producers Desperate to Have Kenya Moore’s Estranged Husband Appear on Season 12 Reunion: “Marc Wants Nothing to Do with Her”

Kenya Moore and husband Marc Daly confirmed their separation a few months ago, but Real Housewives of Atlanta producers are working hard to get them back together—for reunion show purposes only, of course.

Kenya’s return to the show and Marc’s first full RHOA season has unfortunately captured the breakdown of their relationship.

A source tells Radar Online that producers are hoping Marc agrees to show up for the reunion taping and openly discuss the strained marriage.

Daly has reportedly been critical of RHOA, even refusing to appear on the reality show when he first married Kenya. Getting him to the reunion may not be an easy feat.

“Marc wants nothing to do with Kenya, he’s over the show, he’s over the marriage,” the source said, also revealing that producers have yet to offer him a deal to tape the reunion with the other RHOA husbands.

“If Marc shows up it will be the most dramatic reunion ever because Marc loves NeNe,” the source continued.

NeNe Leakes—Kenya’s RHOA foe—reportedly likes Marc and has no issues with him. In fact, it’s also been reported that Marc reached out to Nene and husband Gregg Leakes for marriage advice.

After two years of marriage, Kenya and Marc announced their separation in September, citing “recent and ongoing circumstances.” They reportedly split following an explosive argument at a charity event which was captured by RHOA cameras.

“Marc told Eva’s [Marcille] husband that he is tired of Kenya’s sh*t,” an insider previously told Radar.

The estranged couple has yet to file for divorce or legal separation.

Kenya recently stated that she and Marc are cordial and focused on co-parenting their 1-year-old daughter, Brooklyn.

Karol Sanchez Confesses to Staging Kidnapping Because She Was “Unhappy” & Wanted to Get Away From Strict Mom (Report)

The 16-year-old girl who was apparently kidnapped late Monday night (Dec. 16) while walking with her mother in the Bronx staged the whole thing, sources say.

CBS New York reports that Sanchez confessed to staging the kidnapping incident after she was reunited with her family on Tuesday.

Blurry surveillance footage showed the allegedly staged abduction, in which four men in a sedan pulled up to Sanchez and her mother, grabbed the girl and pushed the mom to the ground.

An amber alert was issued by the New York Police Department and the neighborhood was flooded with posters showing Sanchez’s picture.

Around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sanchez showed up at the scene and turned herself in to police. Not long afterward, she was reunited with her family.

Sources say Sanchez allegedly staged the incident with four accomplices all because she was “unhappy” due to family issues.

A source told the New York Daily News Sanchez staged the abduction as a way to “get away from her strict mom.”

Sources said the mom wanted to move the family back to her native country, Honduras, and Karol didn’t want to go.

After the teen and her “kidnappers,” who all turned out to be friends of hers, found out their stunt had made national news and was the talk of social media, they gave up on their hoax.

“Once they realized what they did, with the amber alert on their phones, it was like, ‘Oh, sh*t, we got a problem,'” said NY Daily News‘ source.

Police said no charges have been filed at this time, and they are looking for Sanchez’s four male accomplices.

NYPD officials said they want to talk to everyone involved before deciding who, if anyone, to charge.

16-Year-Old Karol Sanchez Found Safe & Reunited With Family After Apparent Kidnapping

UPDATE (6:07 P.M.): Karol Sanchez Confesses to Staging Kidnapping Because She Was “Unhappy” & Wanted to Get Away From Strict Mom

UPDATE (4:40 P.M.): Good news! Karol Sanchez, the 16-year-old girl who was apparently kidnapped right in front of her mother while walking in the Bronx Monday night (Dec. 16), has been found safe.

Police said Sanchez was reunited with her family Tuesday afternoon (Dec. 16) and she’s being interviewed by authorities.

Her picture was all over the neighborhood where she was taken, and people immediately recognized her as she walked with an officer towards a parking garage, CBS New York reported.

“We was at the pole over there, looking at her picture, and we walked up the block, she was crossing the street to the cop car, and I was like ‘Yo, that’s her right there,'” Tommy Feliciano said.

“She was shaken up. She was bending over, grabbing her knees, and discussing with the police. And that’s when they took her into the parking garage for questioning,” said Zani Koxha.

“It’s breathtaking because she’s home for the holidays. She’s safe,” said Moises Rivera added.

Residents had been worried about Sanchez all day as they kept a close eye on their own children.

They also worried about Sanchez’s mother, who witnesses said was visibly and audibly distraught after her daughter was taken right in front of her.

“She was just screaming ‘My daughter, my daughter, my God, someone please help me.’ She was screaming hysterically. And I was looking, wondering what was going on. She was just screaming in the street,” one witness said.

Of Karol Sanchez’s condition, one family member told CBS NY: “They didn’t touch her. She’s fine.”

The surveillance footage shows two men jumping out of the car before grabbing Karol and forcing her into the vehicle. Karol’s mother tried to intervene to save her daughter, however, she was violently pushed to the ground as the men sped off.

Police said there were a total of four men in the vehicle, which went east on E. 156th Street after the abduction.

Sanchez is described as 16 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 150 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue bubble jacket, white undershirt, blue jeans, black shoes, and a white backpack.

Moniece Breaks Down After Fizz Dismisses Her Mental Health Issues & Demands Full Custody of Their Son on “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” Reunion

For several seasons, Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood fans have seen Fizz shame Moniece Slaughter for her mental health issues and repeatedly portray her as a bad mother.

But during this season’s reunion special, he stooped to a new low, outright asking her to give up joint custody of their son because of her mental health while also refusing to step in and co-parent during her low periods.

Moniece recounted that in the midst of one of her recent depressive bouts, she asked Fizz to come pick up their son while she got better.

Unfortunately, the B2K member refused because it was Moniece’s week and insinuated that she only wanted an out of her parental responsibilities.

“Don’t sit here and constantly down me when I’m saying I’m in a bad space emotionally, the medication isn’t working. I gotta figure it out. I’m thinking of checking into a treatment center,” Moniece pleaded.

That’s when Fizz hit back by challenging Moniece to give up joint custody and grant him full custody of their son.

“You don’t want to be responsible,” he said. “Until you go get the help you need and feel like you can be the mother that you want to be to our child, then cool, we can have joint custody again.”

Throughout the tense exchange, Fizz repeatedly asked Moniece to take full accountability of her mental instability while also seemingly accusing her of using her mental health as an excuse.

But the thing is, Moniece has always been honest about her struggles with mental health and has sought to get better, including during this season. But when she asked Fizz to step in with their son because she’s not at her best, he refused to do so and blamed her.

LHHH fans did not like the way Fizz treated the mother of his child, especially since he allegedly helped current girlfriend Apryl Jones during her mental health and custody issues.

Mental health is a serious issue, especially in the black community where it’s not openly addressed and properly treated. For years, Moniece has been brave by being honest about her struggles on the popular reality show.

Fizz doesn’t seem to be too sympathetic to her plight. Let’s hope Moniece gets the treatment she needs and that the two can get to a better place to co-parent their son.

Part 3 of the Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood reunion airs Sunday (Dec. 22) on VH1.

Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” is #1 on Hot 100 After 25 Years & Also Her 19th #1 Hit

Christmas came a bit early for Mariah Carey. For the first time ever, “All I Want for Christmas” is No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 after 25 years!

Carey’s holiday album “Merry Christmas” was first released way back in 1994, and since then, the highest any of her Christmas songs have ever been near the top of the Hot 100 was back in December 2017 when the same song was ranked No. 3.

In addition to that amazing feat, “All I Want for Christmas” is the first holiday No. 1. on the Hot 100 in over SIX DECADES and only the second holiday No. 1 ever, according to Billboard, joining The Chipmunks’ “The Chipmunk Song,” which reigned for four weeks between 1958 and 1959.

“Christmas” also adds Carey’s 19th Hot 100 No. 1, extending her record for most songs among soloists, Billboard reports. One more #1 hit and she’ll tie with the Beatles, who have the most Hot 100 No. 1s at 20. Behind her is Rihanna (14), Michael Jackson (13) and Madonna and The Supremes (12 each).

Carey’s last No. 1 single was “Touch My Body,” which spent two weeks at the top more than a decade ago in April 2008.

“It’s a little bit of a whirlwind!” Carey told Billboard shortly after the Hot 100 announcement. “Last night was [my show at Madison Square Garden]. I loved the show and the fans were incredible. I was just like, ‘Okay, even if [“All I Want For Christmas Is You”] is No. 2, that’s a huge accomplishment.’

“Wow. I don’t even know what to say. We definitely wanted to kick it into high gear this year with the song to celebrate the 25th anniversary, but I definitely didn’t expect it to hit No. 1 two weeks before Christmas! I just want to thank everybody. I want the world to have the best holiday ever.”

Mariah Carey isn’t the only one celebrating this achievement either, as fans of the music legend are showing their support on Twitter.

Video Resurfaces of Charlamagne Saying He’ll Suck Tekashi 6ix9ine’s D*ck if He Beats His Racketeering Case

A video clip that has clearly NOT aged well has resurfaced showing Breakfast Club host Charlamagne Tha God saying he’ll give Tekashi 6ix9ine the gift of oral sex if he ends up beating his RICO case and doesn’t spend the majority of his life behind bars.

Following Tekashi’s November 2019 arrest for racketeering and firearms charges, Charlamagne appeared on The Brilliant Idiots podcast and made this bold declaration:

“If Tekashi 6ix9ine beats this case, I will suck his d**k and he doesn’t even have to ask me.”

https://youtu.be/ZFbOv0W0IWY?t=5670

Charla’s comments are hella interesting … considering the fact that here we are, one year later, and all signs are pointing towards Tekashi 6ix9ine being released from prison this Wednesday (Dec. 18) thanks to him snitching on various members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

It remains to be seen whether or not Charlamagne will make good on his “promise,” however, the Twitter trolling has already begun.

WATCH: Jay-Z Snatches Phone Out of Guy’s Hand for Trying to Record Beyoncé at Diddy’s Party

If you ever find yourself in the presence of the greatness that is Beyoncé, make sure her husband Jay-Z doesn’t catch you pulling out your phone and trying to record the moment.

Jay-Z, Beyoncé and a slew of other A-list celebrities attended Diddy’s 50th birthday party over the weekend at the Bad Boy founder’s Holmby Hills mansion in Los Angeles.

During the star-studded bash, Beyoncé was seen cutting a rug on the dance floor with Kelly Rowland, Saweetie and others when a man boldly attempted to record the moment with his smartphone. But, unfortunately for the guy’s personal archives (and his pride) Jay-Z wasn’t having it.

Before the unidentified gentleman could even point his camera at Beyoncé, Jay-Z quickly snatches the phone out of his hands, creating a hilarious moment that has since gone viral on social media.

The video ends as Jay appears to give the man his phone back, as if to say “Don’t do that here,” and Beyoncé can be seen comforting the guy after being embarrassed in front of everyone.

Another angle caught on video shows the man appearing to be in the background as Hov and Bey mingle with Saweetie and Quavo.

Tekashi 6ix9ine to Be Released From Prison After U.S. Federal Government & DA Drop ALL Charges (Report)

UPDATE: Tekashi 6ix9ine Sentenced to 2 Years in Prison

Tekashi 6ix9ine will officially be a free man within the next 72 hours if online reports are to be believed.

According to an exclusive report from Hip-Hop website OnSmash.com, the U.S. Federal Government, probation department and the defense attorney have officially come to terms to give Tekashi Snitch9ine time served.

And if that’s the case … that means Mr. Snitch9ine will be released from prison this Wednesday (Dec. 18).

6ix9ine is set to be released from jail in less than 72 hours, and will appear in court to be sentenced to one-year and a day.

Under FEDs sentencing guidelines, the mandatory minimum of 47 years in prison will be cut to time served.

It’s expected that he’ll immediately leave the court, with security, after Federal Judge Paul Engelmayer goes through with the final call.

Considering both the FEDS and the DA are both on the same page, for this serious case, Judge Engelmayer is putting trust in both parties for Tekashi.

Previous reports have suggested that Tekashi (real name: Daniel Hernandez) would only get 10 years shaved off of his possible 47-year sentence after prosecutors indicated that they planned to dismiss count 2 of his racketeering indictment—possession of a machine gun in furtherance of a racketeering conspiracy.

“The Government will move to dismiss Count Two at sentencing,” federal prosecutor Michael Longyear said during a court hearing on Friday (Dec. 13). “Thus … the defendant’s mandatory minimum term of incarceration would be 37 years’ imprisonment.”

Federal sentencing guidelines would require him to face a mandatory prison term (up to 37 years in this case), however, because of his cooperation with prosecutors (i.e. “SNITCHING“) against various members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, Judge Paul Engelmayer will likely impose a sentence far below the guidelines range—meaning that Tekashi could get time served when he’s sentenced on Wednesday.

Stay tuned for updates.

James “Radio” Kennedy, Who Inspired 2003 Cuba Gooding Jr. Movie, Dies at 73

Cuba Gooding, Jr. pictured here with James "Radio" Kennedy in 2003

James “Radio” Kennedy—the man who inspired the movie “Radio,” starring Cuba Gooding, Jr.—has died. He was 73 years old.

Kennedy’s niece and caregiver, Jackie Kennedy, confirmed the sad news to WYFF News 4 Sunday morning (Dec. 15). Jackie said her uncle was taken to Hospice of the Upstate in Anderson County Saturday afternoon, and he passed away early Sunday morning.

Kennedy was a regular fixture on the sidelines of T.L. Hanna High School in Anderson, South Carolina for more than 50 years after he started showing up at the games as a teenager and unofficial 11th grader in the mid-1960s.

Explaining how he got his nickname, Former T.L. Hanna High Principal Sheila Hilton wrote a few years ago:

“At that time, he was a teenager, with a transistor radio seemingly attached to his ear, who could barely speak and had never learned to read or write. He was nicknamed Radio by the coaches and players.

“He became a fixture at football practices, standing passively and watching, until one day when he began to mimic the coaches’ signals and tried his hand at yelling out commands.

“At that point, he could have been labeled a distraction and sent away. But he was not. The coaches embraced him, and as coaches came and went, someone would always take over in caring for him.”

In 1964, Radio was befriended by former T.L. Hanna football coach Harold Jones, and the story of their relationship would later become the plot for the 2003 film “Radio.”

Jones said Radio—who was inducted into the T.L. Hanna Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016—was previously hospitalized in early December to be treated for pancreatitis, along with ongoing diabetes and kidney issues.

New Photos of Drake’s 2-Year-Old Son Adonis Surface

New photos of Drake’s 2-year-old son Adonis have surfaced on the internet.

One photo shows a blonde-haired Drake posing with Adonis and the boy’s mother, former porn star Sophie Brussaux, while another shows Drake and Adonis apparently spending some quality father-son time alone while the toddler drinks from a bottle.

A third photo shows Adonis, with his blonde curls, by himself looking up at the camera.

This is the first time the public has seen Adonis since summer 2018, the first time photos were leaked eight months after his birth in October 2017.

Drake wished his son a happy birthday on Instagram this past October, writing “Happy Birthday King” in the caption of a photo showing off gold birthday decorations including “ADONIS” spelled out in a balloon arch.

The history of Drake’s relationship with his son is interesting, to say the least.

In May 2018, Pusha T released a diss track called “The Story of Adidon,” in which he accused Drake of hiding a secret child.

The following month, Drake confirmed he fathered a son named Adonis in a number of songs from his Scorpion album.

On one track, “Emotionless,” Drake rapped: “I wasn’t hidin’ my kid from the world, I was hidin’ the world from my kid.”

Kodak Black Claims He Was Drugged & Beaten by Correctional Officers in Prison

Kodak Black has revealed that he has been a victim of police brutality and inhumane treatment while behind bars.

In a lengthy post he published on Instagram, Kodak speaks on being laced with an unknown substance by police officers, denied medical attention, and beaten by officers and other inmates to the point he thought he was going to die.

Kodak also claims a police officer tried to use his celebrity status to get a huge payday.

Peep Kodak’s message below:

On October 29th I was laced with an unknown substance here in Miami, FDC. That substance gave me an out of body experience and had me feeling like I was possessed and dying slowly. Upon this experience i managed to go to the CO’s office to seek medical Attention (As shown on surveillance cameras). I was denied ! This left me in a state of paranoia. Shortly after I got into an altercation with an innate. This same CO who denied me medical attention, proceeded to pepper spray me which instantly impaired my vision and I was oblivious to who was punching and grabbing me repeatedly in the face. Even after I was on the floor they continued to strike me and deploy more people. I was summoning for them to stop while gasping for my breath.

This near death experience felt like dogs were tearing at my skin while they were grabbing and beating me while I was under the influence of this unknown substance that mysteriously hasn’t popped up in my Urine analysis and mysteriously the inmate I was fighting with went home the next day. I was beaten so brutally that I had to be taken to the Box in a wheelchair. I have been here for 45 days without commissary, hygiene stressed out and on psych meds. Having to mourn the loss of my brother Juice World behind the doors.

Prior to this there were a few inmates who intentionally beat up … An officer and no charges were filed. Meanwhile I get into a fight with another inmate and this officer jumps in to inflict harm on himself and capitalize on my status as a local celebrity … I had officers tell me that the CO was ok that night and that he is trying to go this route. Because he self checked himself in the hospital. I have also heard officers tell me that the CO has been back to FDC and bragging that he will her a quarter million from me.
I want to shed this light on police brutality and the tactics they use to cover their behinds.

Kodak was sentenced in November to more than three years in prison on weapon charges.

His incarceration stemmed from him being arrested on gun charges right before his performance at the Rolling Loud hip-hop festival in Miami back in May.

Police later revealed that Kodak was specifically arrested at the festival after he lied on documentation to purchase firearms.

Just a month prior to his arrest at Rolling Loud, Kodak was arrested on gun and drug charges near Niagara Falls, New York, while trying to enter the U.S. from Canada.

In August, he pleaded guilty to making false written statements when trying to acquire firearms from a federally licensed firearms dealer.

Kodak is also under indictment on charges of criminal sexual conduct in South Carolina from 2016. If found guilty he can receive the maximum sentence of 30 years in that case.

Wells Fargo Employee in Charge of Cash Vault Stole $88,000 & Was Caught Flexing on Social Media

An aspiring rapper with an apparent taste for the finer things in life has been accused of stealing thousands of dollars from Wells Fargo while he was supposed to be guarding the cash vault at a branch in Charlotte, North Carolina.

According to a recently unsealed indictment, 29-year-old Arlando Henderson was arrested last week on 34 counts of financial institution fraud, theft, embezzlement and misapplication, making false entries and money laundering.

Court documents state that Henderson was hired by Wells Fargo in April 2019 to guard their cash vault, and on at least 18 occasions, he stole cash from deposits made by bank customers stored in the vault.

Henderson allegedly started pocketing relatively small amounts of money just two months into his employment without getting caught, according to the indictment obtained by the Charlotte Observer.

On June 12th, he allegedly took $446, and a week later, he allegedly pocketed another $200.

Two days after that, the indictment alleges he stole $411, and from there, the amount and frequency of the thefts quickly escalated as he gained more confidence.

By the end of June, he had already allegedly stolen close to $2,000. In July, his takings rose to $19,000 with $8,100 coming from just one day’s haul.

He eclipsed that amount with an $8,700 theft on July 10th, the indictment said, and five days later, he set yet another one-day high by stealing $13,450.

During that time, prosecutors said Henderson would make regular deposits through an ATM near his job, with most of the transactions involving large amounts of $50 and $100 bills.

As a part of his criminal enterprise, Henderson also allegedly destroyed documents and rigged the bank’s books to cover up his illegal income stream. In all, he stole $88,000 from the bank.

Prosecutors said Henderson used the money for personal expenses and to make a large cash down payment ($20K all in $100 bills) on a brand new 2019 Mercedes Benz. He obtained a loan for the remaining balance from another bank by providing falsified bank statements, the indictment said.

As his indictment points out, between the months of July and August 2019, Henderson—who purportedly served in the U.S. Army at some point and is also an aspiring recording artist who performs under the stage name “Aceey4oez”—used his Facebook and Instagram accounts to post photos showing large stacks and fans of $100 bills.

Other photos posted to Henderson’s social media accounts showed him flaunting a gold, diamond-encrusted watch and designer clothes, including a Balmain sweatshirt and a Burberry button-down shirt with matching shorts.

Henderson also posted a photo of himself posing in front of his ill-gotten luxury car wearing a t-shirt with the acronym AWBB, which means “Ain’t Wit Being Broke.”

In the caption of a photo of him holding a stack of bills, Henderson wrote: “I make it look easy but this shyt really a PROCESS.”

Following an FBI investigation, Henderson was indicted in November.

One of his last photos posted on his Facebook was taken in September San Diego, where he was arrested by FBI agents on December 4th.

Henderson made his initial court appearance two days later, and he’s due back in court on Tuesday (Dec. 17) for another hearing. He faces decades in prison if convicted as charged.

13-Year-Old Boy Arrested for Fatal Stabbing of College Student in New York City Park

A 13-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the murder of an 18-year-old college student in New York City, according to multiple reports.

Tessa Majors, a freshman at Barnard College in Manhattan, was killed Wednesday night (Dec. 11) when three teens tried to rob her while she was walking through Morningside Park.

NYPD Detective Vincent Signoretti said at a hearing Friday that the 13-year-old boy, whose name hasn’t been released because he is currently not being charged as an adult, told police that he and two other teenage boys had gone to Morningside Park with the sole intention of robbing people.

“They followed a man with the intention of robbing him and decided not to,” Signoretti said, according to the New York Times.

The teens later spotted Majors in the park, Signoretti said, adding that the 13-year-old boy told him that he watched his two friends grab Majors and put her into a chokehold before taking things out of her pockets.

Signoretti said one of the teens then pulled a knife on Majors and stabbed her several times before the trio fled. A law enforcement official said a roughly four-inch folding knife was found near the scene and was being tested for DNA and fingerprints.

The 13-year-old boy was arrested on trespassing charges Thursday after in a building near the park.

He was interviewed by detectives with his uncle present, officials said. The boy’s uncle and aunt are his legal guardians.

His statement led investigators to the other two suspects, one of whom is a 14-year-old boy who was detained Friday and remains in police custody, the New York Daily News reported. Officials said the 14-year-old was interviewed with a lawyer present.

The third suspect, believed to be the teen who stabbed Majors, was still being sought, officials said.

The 13-year-old, who the Times reports lives in Harlem and is 5-feet-5 inches tall, hasn’t been formally charged with a crime as of yet. He’s expected to eventually be arraigned on charges of second-degree felony murder, robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.

Rachel Glantz, an attorney for New York City, said the allegations were “the most serious charges that can come before a family court.”

According to New York state law, minors charged with intentional murder can be tried as adults, but the 13-year-old will be prosecuted in family court because he’s facing a felony murder charge, meaning that he isn’t accused of stabbing Majors, but of taking part in the robbery during which she was killed.

The boy’s attorney, Hannah Kaplan of the Legal Aid Society, said he’s never been arrested before and police didn’t have any evidence beyond his statement.

“There is no allegation my client touched the complainant in this case,” Kaplan said. “He was merely present when this took place.”

50 Cent Says Oprah Only Calls Out Black Men Accused of Sexual Misconduct: “No Weinstein, No Epstein, Just Michael Jackson & Russell Simmons”

50 Cent has a serious bone to pick with Oprah Winfrey.

Thursday night (Dec. 12), the rapper seemingly reignited his beef wth the media mogul after he took to Instagram to call her out over the upcoming #MeToo documentary she’s producing that will focus on Drew Dixon–one of the women accusing Russell Simmons of sexual misconduct.

The film, directed by Kirkby Dick and Amy Ziering, is described as “…a profound examination of race, gender, class and intersectionality, and the toll assaults take on their victims and society at large,” according to the Los Angeles Times.

50 Cent says Oprah only targets alleged sexual predators who are black men, all while remaining silent on white male high-profile predators.

Fiddy used Oprah’s controversial sit-down interview with Michael Jackson accusers Wade Robson and James Safechuck as one example, and her upcoming documentary about Russell Simmons’ documentary as another.

“I don’t understand why Oprah is going after black men,” 50 wrote. “No Harvey Weinstein, No [Jeffrey] Epstein, just Micheal jackson and Russell Simmons this sh*t is sad.”

He then focused his attention on Oprah’s BFF Gayle King, who did a primetime interview with R. Kelly earlier this year amid renewed outrage over his alleged sexual abuse.

“Gale [sic] hit R Kelly with the death blow documentary. Every time I hear Micheal Jackson I don’t know whether to dance or think about the little boys butts. These [documentaries] are publicly convicting their targets, it makes them guilty till proven innocent.”

50 followed that post up with another one showing a collection of male celebrities who’ve been accused of sexual misconduct, pointing out that only the black men, so far, have been jailed over rampant accusations, unlike their white male counterparts.

The image showed Epstein, Weinsten, Kevin Spacey, and Donald Trump with the word “walk,” while Bill Cosby and Kelly’s pics had the word “jail” written on them.

“You think Oprah don’t notice how this sh*t playing out?” 50 asked in the post’s caption.

50 Cent has a rocky relationship with Oprah. He sat down with her on her “Next Chapter” show back in 2012 to squash a years-long beef that apparently started after Oprah criticized rappers over their lyrics.

50’s messages came just one day after Harvey Weinsten reached a $25 million settlement with dozens of his accusers. The disgraced movie producer, who denies all of the allegations against him, is still facing life in prison over sex-crime charges he’s facing in Manhattan.

Meanwhile, Russell Simmons has since taken to Instagram himself to respond to the news that Oprah is producing a documentary regarding the sexual assault allegations against him.

In his post, Simmons not only denies the allegations, but calls it “troubling” that Oprah has decided to “single” him out.

Simmons wrote, in part: “Dearest OPRAH, you have been a shining light to my family and my community. Contributing so much to my life that I couldn’t list a fraction of it in this blog. I have given you the gift of meditation and the groundbreaking book ‘THE POWER OF NOW’ we bonded to say the least.

“This is why it’s so troubling that you choose me to single out in your recent documentary. I have already admitted to being a playboy more (appropriately titled today “womanizer”) sleeping with and putting myself in more compromising situations than almost any man I know.

“Not 8 or 14 thousand like Warren Beatty or Wilt Chamberlain, but still an embarrassing number. So many that some could reinterpret or reimagine a different recollection of the same experiences. Please note that ur producers said that this upcoming doc was to focus ONLY on 3 hand chosen women.”

Comedy Central Comedian Chris Cotton Dies Suddenly at 32, Months Before Pregnant Wife to Give Birth

Comedian and Comedy Central personality Chris Cotton has died. He was only 32 years old.

On Thursday (Dec. 12), Comedy Central confirmed via a tweet that the up-and-comedian had unexpectedly passed away. A cause of death has not been publicly revealed.

The loss is especially devastating to his wife of eight years, Ericalynn, who is expecting their first child together in February. The couple were reportedly childhood sweethearts.

A Philadelphia native, Cotton was a regular on the Philly and New York comedy scene. He performed at NYC’s Caroline’s on Broadway comedy club just last week.

Cotton was best known for his work on Comedy Central, serving as a host of the network’s weekday online talk show, Every Damn Day.

He joined the show as a writer through Comedy Central’s Creators Program and was then promoted to host. He has also appeared on other CC shows and was a red carpet correspondent for some of the network’s events.

He also released a memoir last year titled What My Dad Did: My Theory on Joke Writing.

The comedy community is mourning over his sudden loss. Comedians like Hannibal Buress and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon writer Nate Dern shared their memories and condolences on social media.

An official GoFundMe page has been set up in Cotton’s honor, raising over $40,000 so far. Proceeds will be donated Ericalynm and their unborn baby and Cotton’s family.

The page also announced memorial/comedy shows to celebrate his life in both Philly and NYC. The dates have yet to be determined.

Philadelphia restaurant The Loft at City Winery has already announced a memorial for Cotton to be held on January 6th.

Our thoughts go out to Ericlynn and the Cotton family.

Cynthia Bailey & Kenya Moore Force “Real Housewives of Atlanta” Co-Star to Abruptly Quit Show (Report)

The heat apparently got too hot for one star of the Real Housewives of Atlanta and she had to get out of the Bravo kitchen.

As the current season twirls on, one of the RHOA ladies has been accused of secretly recording Cynthia Bailey trash talk NeNe Leakes. The recording got back to NeNe, and Cynthia and Kenya Moore want the “snake” exposed.

“That person needs to step up, because you need to be a sly dog and a little snake in front of everybody,” Kenya said. “Don’t bring it up unless you can really show the receipts.”

While it has not been revealed who allegedly recorded Cynthia, a source tells Radar Online that it was “friend” to the show Yovanna Momplaisir.

Yovanna denied the accusation on a recent RHOA episode. However, Radar’s source says the ladies kept “pushing for details” and Yovanna eventually gets outed.

“Of course, Yovanna is the ‘snake’ they all speak of, but she didn’t do it all by herself,” the source said.

The insider says Cynthia and Kenya both refused to film with Yovanna, and it became too much for the newbie—who’s on her second season—to handle.

“Kenya and Cynthia refused to film with Yovanna, so she left the show mid-season!” the source revealed.

And there’s more. According to Radar’s source, it’s not even certain a recording actually exists. “Many believe she made it up to keep filming,” the insider said.

In fact, no cast member or production staff has heard the alleged recording that NeNe claims she heard.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays in Bravo.
