It isn’t clear how long he and NeNe have been dating but rumors of their relationship were sparked last week when she was spotted out in Miami with him and Peter Thomas (who reportedly hooked them up).

NeNe’s new relationship comes just three months after her late husband of over 20 years Gregg Leakes passed away from colon cancer.

NeNe Leakes just turned 54 and she celebrated her birthday Tuesday night (Dec. 14) with family and close friends down at the Linnethia Lounge in Duluth, Georgia right outside Atlanta.

“This year I didn’t want to celebrate my birthday in a big way! I just wanted to chill wit a few love ones but my fam would NOT let it be that way!” she shared in a post on Instagram.

“Paid in Full” Drug Kingpin & Informant Alpo Martinez Shot & Killed in Harlem Drive-by Shooting

A 55-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting in Harlem, New York City early Sunday morning (Oct. 31), and according to a number of online sources, that man was Alberto “Alpo” Martinez.

A report from New York Daily News states that the victim, believed to be Martinez, “was struck multiple times in the chest in a hail of bullets fired from a passing vehicle on W. 147th St. near Frederick Douglass Blvd. just after 3:20 a.m.”

EMS rushed the man to Harlem Hospital, where he died. While the man’s name has not been released, many sources are saying that it was definitely Alpo Martinez.

Martinez was a big drug kingpin in Harlem back in the 1980’s and he became famous after rapper Cam’ron portrayed him in the 2002 cult classic movie “Paid in Full.”

Martinez had a long history of violence and is believed to have murdered dozens of people. Most notably, he was accused of killing his former friend Rich Porter for allegedly overcharging him for cocaine.

Martinez was released from prison in 2015 while serving a 35-year sentence for drug charges, 14 counts of murder and conspiracy to commit murder. His early release was due to him being an informant and testifying against his former associates.

News of Martinez’s death comes after he was previously spotted receiving a warm welcome in Harlem a little over a year ago in 2020.

Dallas Woman Reportedly in Critical Condition After Doing the Milk Crate Challenge

Unless you live under a rock, just about everybody and their mama has heard about the Internet’s latest trend … the Milk Crate Challenge.

Social media has been in a frenzy with users posting videos of themselves and others doing the ridiculous challenge, mostly ending in participants falling off the crates and painfully crashing to the ground.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCX37_loy7I

While it seems to be all fun and games, the challenge is actually very dangerous and can result in serious injuries.

A Dallas woman is reportedly in critical condition after doing the challenge and it is being said that she may not survive.

Footage of the woman doing the challenge shows her falling from the top of the crates and landing head first on the concrete outside of a gas station.

After the fall, the woman lies on the ground lifeless as paramedics attempt to treat her. A bystander can be heard in the video screaming and saying the woman was bleeding badly from her head.

Watch the video here:

It is also being said the woman did the challenge for a measly five bucks.

Celebrities including rappers Blueface and DDG have also participated in the Milk Crate Challenge and posted videos of them successfully completing it.

Rapper Lil Boosie even held a Milk Crate Challenge competition at his mansion in Atlanta offering anyone who could make it up and down the crates $4,000.

If you are down on cash the Milk Crate Challenge can be very tempting … but ending up with broken bones or in a casket just ain’t it.

Illinois Family Buries 5 Children Killed in Apartment Fire

While many Americans spent the past week getting their kids ready to go back to school, sharing their first-day outfits on social media and how excited the kids were to finally be able to attend in-person classes, a family in Illinois had the devastating duties of burying their five children following a tragic fire that occurred earlier this month.

The fire happened on August 6th at an apartment building located in the 500 block of 29th Street in East St. Louis, Illinois. The mother of the five children, Sabrina Dunigan, left the children home to go pick up her boyfriend from work. When she returned to the apartment she found the building in flames.

According to authorities, Dunigan tried several times to enter the apartment to save the children, but was unsuccessful and suffered burns on her arms and feet. The children’s grandfather and his girlfriend were also at the apartment at the time of the fire and had to jump from the apartment’s second floor.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and were able to rescue three of the children from the apartment, however they unfortunately later died from smoke inhalation. The other two children they were not able to rescue burned alive inside the apartment.

“They are blameless in this. They’re just kids. It’s tough,” Assistant Fire Chief George McClellan said in a statement regarding the tragic incident.

The five siblings were 9-year-old Deontay Davis Jr., 8-year-old twins Heaven and Nevaeh, 4-year-old Jabari Johnson, 2-year-old Loyal Dunigan.

On Saturday (Aug. 21), funeral services for the children were held at Greater St. Mark Church of God in Christ. Family and friends gathered at the church to pay their final respects.

Custom caskets were made for each child and each one reflected their personality and things they were interested in.

“These children were wonderful children. If you look at the caskets, each casket reflects their personal desires, the games they played with, the toys they liked, (and) the colors they were interested in,” Serenity Memorial Chapel Funeral Director Walter Taylor told news reporters. “If you look at the casket, it’s really a glimpse of their young lives.”

https://www.facebook.com/yayo.barton.3/posts/309715117574486

While it’s unclear what started the fire, the matter is currently under investigation by the Illinois State Fire Marshal and the Illinois State Police Department.

R.I.P to those babies…this is so sad.

Sha’Carri Richardson Roasted on the Internet After Coming in Last Place in Prefontaine Classic Race

Sha’Carri Richardson is once again the talk of the Internet, but not in a good way.

Back in July, the track star made headlines after she was disqualified from the 2021 Tokyo Olympics for failing a drug test. Richardson was banned due to marijuana being detected in her system. Many found the banning unfair and unjust due to the drug not being a performance-enhancing substance.

Despite the devastating news, Sha’Carri took responsibility for her actions and also revealed that during the time she used the drug to cope with the death of her mother.

Along with the general public, celebrities including Diddy, Gabrielle Union, Halle Berry, Seth Rogen, Cardi B, and many more spoke out in support of Sha’Carri and even voiced that the Olympic’s rules against marijuana were outdated and needed to be changed to represent the current state of America.

Rapper Kanye showed his support of Sha’Carri by enlisting her for a Beats by Dre ad promoting his upcoming album Donda. Nike also released a statement showing their support to Sha’carri and stating they would keep their sponsorship with her.

Though she was not allowed to participate in the 2021 Olympics, there is no doubt Sha’Carri has felt all of the love and support and for sure has been given her flowers. On July 30th she tweeted asking her fans if they missed her yet.

The tweet received mixed results from followers, with some taking Sha’Carri’s tweet as being arrogant and not humble. Some also took it as she was throwing shade at some of the other participants in the Olympics.

Sha’Carri fired back at all those who had something to say and advised them to unfollow her page if they had a problem with her tweets.

Despite the backlash, it was later announced that Sha’Carri would be given her chance to return to the track on August 21st at the Nike Prefontaine Classic at the University of Oregon. This would be her first race since being disqualified from the Olympics.

Days before the race, Sha’Carri posted a video on Instagram with Nicki Minaj playing in the background and making it clear that she wasn’t coming to play no games.

She captioned the video: “August 21 and I’m not playing nice.”

However, Sha’Carri’s return to the field didn’t go nearly as she or fans expected.

On Saturday (Aug. 21) the track star came in last place in the 100-meter dash race against 8 other competitors, including three of the Jamaican sprinters who won gold, silver and bronze during the Olympics. Footage showed Sha’Carri trailing behind the other sprinters throughout the entire race.

Jamaican sprinter Elaine Thompson-Herah ended up taking first place in the competition.

Following the race, Sha’Carri spoke to NBC and stated that she wasn’t upset about falling short in the race and that she is far from done.

“Having a month off. Dealing with all I was dealing with. I’m not upset at myself at all,” she said during the post-race interview.

“This is one race. I’m not done. You know what I’m capable of. Count me out if you want to. Talk all the sh*t that you want cause I’m here to stay.

“I’m the sixth fastest woman in this game ever. And can’t nobody ever take that away from me. Congratulations to the winners, but they not done seeing me yet.”

Of course, Twitter has been roasting Sha’Carri to shreds about getting smoked in the race and for being overly confident and not getting the job done.

Hopefully she will get them next time. But right now, it looks like it’s time for Sha’carri to have a nice slice of humble pie.

Drake Disses Kanye West on New Song “Betrayal” with Trippie Redd, Calls Him Old & Burned Out

Looks like the beef between Kanye West and Drake is far from over.

Despite reports that the two rappers had patched things up and squashed their long-running beef, a new track from rapper Trippie Redd featuring Drake is stating otherwise.

Last month, a Twitter user tweeted that Drake should release his new upcoming album Certified Lover Boy on the same day Kanye drops his highly anticipated album Donda that he continues to push back.

Social Media maven/YMCMB affiliate Karen Civil responded back to the tweet and revealed that would not happen because Kanye and Drake are friends again.

While this may have be the case at the time, something has definitely changed because Drake is throwing shade for days at Kanye.

On Trippie Redd’s new song “Betrayal” Drake raps:

“All these fools I’m beefin’ that I barely know. Forty-five, forty-four (Burned out), let it go. Ye ain’t changin’ shit for me, it’s set in stone.”

Along with the rest of the Internet, Kanye caught wind of the shots fired and responded with an Instagram post of a picture of a group chat in which he addresses Drake’s diss and sends warning shots.

The group chat showed to include 8 people, one of those people being Pusha T and it is being rumored Drake was also a part of the group chat. The message also included a photo of Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker.

“I live for this. I’ve been f**ked with by nerd a** jock n**gas like you my whole life. You will never recover. I promise,” Kanye wrote in the group chat.

Rapper Consequence, who was previously signed to G.O.O.D. Music and has collaborated with Kanye on several projects, also responded to Drake’s diss and called it flat out disrespectful.

The timing of Drake’s diss is very interesting considering the fact that both rappers have projects dropping soon, but maybe Drake’s diss will be enough motivation to get Kanye to stop playing and release Donda for Christ’s sake.

Gervonta Davis Goes on Instagram Live After Private Jet Crashes

Professional boxer Gervonta Davis ran into a pretty serious scare on Saturday.

Gervonta revealed in an Instagram Live video that his private jet crashed this afternoon during takeoff.

The boxer had just boarded the plane with his team when something went wrong and the jet failed to properly take off and crashed down to the airport grounds.

Luckily Gervonta and company didn’t suffer any major injuries from the crash, but he was still kind of shook up from the incident.

“The plane crashed. The plane didn’t even take off. It took off, but it didn’t take off,” Gervonta said in the Instagram Live video. “I’m good, it’s just my a** is hot. I’m sitting on concrete. My a** is on fire. It feels like it’s boiling. I’m definitely thankful. God is good.”

Before the jet crashed, Gervonta posted photos on Instagram of him with his team along with children and a few pets about to board the plane.

Following the scary incident, Gervonta made it very clear that he is done with flying. Instead, he said he will drive or take a train going forward.

“For everybody want to fly private I think it’s over with for that. I’m driving or catching a train,” Gervonta said in the Instagram Live video.

Celebrities are no strangers to plane crashes. Former NBA star Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant and several others tragically passed during a helicopter crash in 2020. Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker recently made headlines after boarding a plane with his girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian for the first time since surviving a plane crash in 2008 that killed four people and left him severely injured with third degrees burns to his body.

Thank Goodness Gervonta and his folks made it out safely.

Known internet troll and hacker Oliver Warders threatened the CEO of Hush Media Networks multiple times about extorting money from the company. A representative of Hush Media Networks shared with us private information regarding the dispute.

Japanese Pop Sensation LiLi Spotted in Tokyo on a Six-Figure Shopping Spree

It is widely known that Tokyo is one of the most expensive cities in the world to live in but that doesn’t seem to matter to Amada Records recording artist LiLi, who is rumored to spend six figures on her day-to-day shopping sprees.

As CEO of the Tokyo Dreamgirl entertainment company, she’s raking in the big bucks and shopping like a rock star. She lives in the most popular and expensive building in the country, has three supercars, and a wardrobe room bigger than most people’s houses.

She tries to keep her financial status private, but it’s pretty obvious when you see her driving around in Bentleys and Ferraris every day, and shopping at all the most expensive stores in the city.

One good thing is that she hasn’t let her money and success go to her head, and apparently she’s always nice to everyone. So there are actually some rich people who are not snobs after all. Bravo LiLi!

RedrumSociety’s concert in Delray Beach sold out in 48 hours. According to reports, Redrum Society recently hosted a live show in Delray Beach, FL. The club promoters reported that the show’s tickets were sold out within 48 hours of the announcement, which is a huge success for the band.

The South Florida band has been making great waves in the music industry after its comeback in 2018. The band’s lead singer Zach Cohen rejuvenated the band after his demise, leading to the glory that it has never seen before.

Most recently, the band also released its new hit “Seeing Things” which has become a sensation amongst its fans. Sources wanted to know more about how the band is approaching its goals and had an up-close and personal interview with Zach.

Talking about the latest release, Zach shared some insights on how the song was created and what it expressed.

“It’s about infidelity and how it causes relationships to break. As always, I’m reflecting on my personal life with the song and how my girlfriend used to have suspicions. However, the reason why the song has been so prominent among our fans is that it’s a common thing that everyone is facing,” he stated.

“People do have suspicions; however, letting them overcome the feelings of yourself and your partner destroys the true essence of the relationship. That is what I tried to present in my song and it’s the reason why many people resonated with it because they’ve faced the situation of being accused of something they didn’t do and that led to destroying their relationships.”

Previously, the band had released “Street Fights,” which topped iTunes charts. “Later All Night” was also previously released and was equally popular among the fans.

In the latest venture on the Delray Beach, fans were able to rejoice in the return of the band with its spectacular performance. Melissa B. Gives an Outstanding Performance on Vincent Lyn’s New Song “Just Imagine People United”

Just Imagine — that on earth all human beings were united as one, living together in harmony. We all know how beautiful that would be. What a wonderful world it could be…

Vincent Lyn

We were able to speak to Vincent Lyn about “Just Imagine People United,” his recent release with Melissa B, and this is what he said:

“Four years ago my colleague Melissa Bailey (Melissa B), an incredibly talented singer/songwriter/performer and fellow Grammy artist approached me and said, ‘Why don’t we write a song about global peace?’ 2017 was a devastating year with natural disasters such as catastrophic floods, wildfires and earthquakes affecting millions across the globe. So, it certainly seemed like then was the right time. And so I sat down at the piano and jotted down some chord changes and a bare melody, and over the course of a few weeks had something that I liked. I passed it along to Melissa and she started writing some lyrics. Months passed and we threw ideas back and forth and made some brief changes and then Melissa called up a friend Armand Hutton who collaborated with her on adding some changes to the lyrics. But the song sat collecting dust, weeks went by, then months and years passed.

Melissa B.

“Fast forward 2021 and those natural disasters have increased ten-fold. COVID-19 continues to ravage the world. We are seeing not only a 100+ year pandemic but also the effects of climate change that we can no longer as a global society just brush under the rug. Even more depressingly, the study from the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) shows that the world has gotten progressively less peaceful since 2017. Out of 162 countries, 151 of the world’s nations are currently involved in some form of conflict. It is sad to say, but there are currently ongoing wars in 40 countries, most of them in the Middle East, North West Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, and a major ongoing drug war in Mexico.

“If there ever was a time to release a song about global peace and uniting people now was the appropriate time. Look around, the world is on the precipice of catastrophic proportions unlike anything we’ve seen in over 100 years. COVID-19 has changed the landscape of our world. Many parts of the world are still locked down and many of us took true value in the solitude and made good use of the time. For example, I wrote a book on my humanitarian experiences that has just been published with Barnes & Noble — CHILDHOOD LOST.

Barnes & Nobile — Hard Copy, Paperback, E-Book Versions
Three Versions Released Including World Remix & Instrumental

Just Imagine People United then rose from the ashes. It woke us all up to the calamities ravaging our world, the timing was right, the stars were aligned, and we all felt that the release of Just Imagine People United needed to happen. It took on a globe-trotting production and connection of artists, musicians, producers all over the world. A collaboration was made with colleague Nuno Olim Marote who has an NGO in Portugal called Give Peace A Voice and together with my international foundation We Can Save Children an amazing initiative was formed.

“Melissa recorded her lead vocal in NYC. Nuno Olim Marote founder of Give Peace a Voice invited me to travel to Portugal to record the piano part and met with cello composer Manuel Faria and prodigious cellist Irene Lima and together we recorded our parts. But the song needed a choir and it had to be the orphaned youth I worked with in Uganda. My first meeting with Buyinza Morgan was in 2016, when I went to Uganda on a humanitarian mission to aid him and the 300 orphaned youth that were at his high-school. Buyinza, now 20-years-old, has been leading a group of singers called the Precious Choir. I called Buyinza and told him about the song and he was very thrilled to be a part of the project, and so the Precious Choir recorded their parts in Uganda.

A gomesi or busuuti is a colorful floor-length dress. It is the most commonly used costume for women in Buganda and Busoga. Traditional male attire is the kanzu.

“All the members traveled a few hours by bus or boda boda (motorbike service), from their village in Wakiso District to the capital city of Kampala. There they would all be huddled together in a cramped and spartan recording studio, certainly by western standards. There were days they had no electricity and would just sit around for hours waiting and praying it would come back on. But it was all worth it. It was the icing on the cake, and we all felt magic had been made. To think we all recorded this in the far reaches of the world during a global pandemic. It’s truly astonishing. Melissa Bailey (Melissa B) and I created a small seed 4 years ago and together with co-lyricist Armand Hutton, now the world can hear our magic.”

All the front sales are to be donated equally between We Can Save Children and Give Peace a Voice.

This song pays homage to the Portuguese Secretary General of the United Nations U.N. António Guterres in partnership with the Portuguese NGO Give Peace A Voice and my Foundation We Can Save Children. The project Just Imagine People United has the institutional support of the Portuguese Government, namely, Pedro Siza Vieira, Minister of State, Economy and Digital Transition and Tiago Brandão Rodrigues, Minister of Education.

“The visual arts, like music, can be vehicles for peace, so it was a special experience for me to create the drawing for the cover of Just Imagine People United, following the invitation by Nuno Olim Marote. Just as it was a privilege to feel the harmony in the encounter with Vincent Lyn, through martial arts and meditation: to find an admirable man, available to the universe and to others. His serenity and his generosity are reflected in his music on behalf of peace.” — Joana Vasconcelos (contemporary visual artist renowned for her monumental sculptures)

As of this writing the song both Remix and Original versions for the second week at #3 and #4 respectively on the Worldwide iTunes Music Charts! Submitted to the Global Music Awards — World Music Category.

RedrumSociety Releases New Single “Seeing Things”

RedrumSociety has released a new single called “Seeing Things” that is making moves on the Billboard charts. Their creator and lead singer Zach Cohen has led the South Florida band, bringing great success.

It was in 2015 that Zach’s personal demise led to the fall of the band. However, after recuperating, Zach relaunched the band with several songs and hits, including “Street Fights,” which became a sensation amongst the fans.

“Street Fights” was a great hit and it created the foundation needed for the band to recreate their footings in the music industry. It soon reached the top spot on iTunes in the Blues section. Later, the band released “All Night,” which made it to the Billboard charts again, furthering the band’s success in the industry.

Their latest release, “Seeing Things,” is also becoming quite popular amongst fans. As stated by the band, the song is all about revealing insecurities and seeing the truth as it is. Sources wanted to get more insights about it and had an up-close and personal interview with the band’s lead singer Zach.

According to Zach, the song talks about his life and his relationship with his girlfriend. “It’s about gaslighting and suspicions shown by my girlfriend on me cheating on her. Infidelity is something that comes into a relationship when partners stop trusting each other,” he stated.

“The song is about infidelity and how it gives a chance for suspicions to arise in a relationship. I have used the song to highlight it while gaslighting the accuser in my song. The lyrics themselves are composed in an open-ended question-like format, leaving them ambiguous, which makes it interesting,” he added.

Overall, the song has become a stunning approach to today’s relationships, which is why millions have loved it. The song has a smooth southern rock music touch to it with a dark chorus, led by the specialty of Zach himself.

It’s not the first time RedrumSociety has made it to the news with its fantastic releases. Every latest innovation released by the band comprises songs that have addressed the personal issues faced by Zach. The reason for its popularity is how Zach addresses issues from his life that many people are unable to speak about.

He narrates his life dealings in his songs, which makes it easier for the listeners to resonate with the music, potentially attaching them. Listening to the band’s music brings the audience face to face with their unheard feelings, linking them to what they’ve experienced.

Several artists have made their way into the music industry with this amazing technique. RedrumSociety, under the leadership of Zach Cohen, is making new heights with this same proceeding, attaching with the audience as if their feelings are being narrated.

The band has been successfully leading the Billboard charts with their releases and the latest sensation has kicked off splendidly as well. What’s left to see is how well the band comes with another sensation before enjoying the peak of their success.
