Future Opens Up About Ciara: We Prayed After Sex, God Didn’t Tell Me To Wait

Future is finally opening up about why his relationship with his baby mama Ciara didn’t work out.

In part 1 of his “Like I Never Left” documentary, Future does a quick interview with Rap Radar CEO Elliot Wilson and reveals that the reason he didn’t marry Ciara was because he didn’t want to have a big hollywood wedding.

“I want to marry you but can’t have no big wedding on E! News. I can’t have all these big ass media outlets cover my wedding and I’m not comfortable. I’m not even comfortable with the people in here. I’m not comfortable where I’m at in my career. I’m not comfortable about compromising – being the person that I am – being the man I am. I feel like my better judgement is to go back to record and make better music… I felt like I knew what I was doing…I said it.”

Future also says he felt some type of way after Ciara kicked him off her album despite all of the success they reached with her hit single “Body Party.”

“She was pregnant and she started working on her next album. Me and Mike Will finished the album before the album she just dropped [referring to Ciara].

She didn’t want us to be a part of it at first. Like damn, we just came off a No. 1, and you go straight to Dr. Luke and start working with him? You go right back to the pop lane after we get a little steam?

We shouldn’t do that. We should’ve just finished what we started. You know what I’m sayin? Go back into that ‘Body Party’ lane and give the fans what they want. That’s what they want from you. Like, let’s give them that and let it cross over to pop — instead of trying to chase that crowd.”

But that wasn’t the end of Future spilling the beans on he and CiCi’s former relationship.

Future also recently sat down with HuffPost live and spoke on how Ciara never made him wait for sex, but they did pray after their first time together. (Sounds a bit weird, huh??)

Future’s comment came well in good timing, considering Ciara’s new boo Russell Wilson recently confessed that God came to him and told him to wait until marriage to have sex with Ciara.

“God told me something else. He ain’t tell me to wait. I guarantee you that,” Future said. “We prayed afterwards though. After we did it, we prayed. That’s a true story.”

This guy!!! (LMAO)

Future also shot down rumors that he cheated on Ciara while they were together.

Orlando Scandrick Filed a Restraining Order Against Draya Michele

Well, damn. Orlando Scandrick’s breakup with Draya Michele is getting nastier and nastier as the days go by.

TMZ has obtained documents showing Orlando recently filed a restraining order against Draya.

Sources close to the couple also tell TMZ:

The relationship between the two has gone downhill fast ever since Orlando called off their engagement earlier this month. And Scandrick filed the docs, in part, to get her to move out of his home ASAP.

So far neither Orlando nor Draya’s reps are commenting on the situation.

This is so sad. We knew there was trouble in paradise when Orlando called off the wedding, but damn, we didn’t know it was this bad!

Did Birdman Throw a Drink on Lil Wayne at the Club? Watch the Video!

This past weekend, Lil Wayne and Birdman both showed up to Jim Jones’ birthday party at Liv nightclub in Miami, and things didn’t turn out so well for the former father-and-son duo.

While Wayne took to the stage to perform his song “CoCo” — a track from his Sorry for the Wait 2 mixtape, in which he disses Birdman and Cash Money — someone from Birdman’s VIP section threw a drink at Wayne.

In video footage captured, Wayne can be seen stopping in the middle of his set after being hit with the drink, before he looks up in Birdman’s direction who’s standing in a balcony above the stage and appearing to have a look on his face like, “Yeah, bitch, I threw a drink at you, what you gone do now?”

Sources inside the club tell TMZ that Birdman was the one who threw the drink, which wouldn’t be surprising, considering their VERY public legal feud.

Club owners reportedly ended up shutting the party down before things got out of hand. Um, Happy Birthday Jim Jones?

Chicago Rapper, Chief Keef Associate Capo Killed in Drive-By Shooting

Rapper Capo, a member of Chief Keef’s Glo Gang, was shot and killed in a drive-by this past weekend in Chicago.

The 22-year-old was shot around 2 p.m. and took gunshots to the hip and the back. He was later pronounced dead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

In addition to Capo, a 13-month-old baby killed after being ran over by the suspects as they were trying to flee the scene.

Graphic video footage of Capo laying in a pool of blood with friends and family surrounding him surfaced on the web shortly after the tragic incident took place.

The up-and-coming rapper (real name: Marvin Carr) was pronounced dead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Police reportedly have two suspects in custody.

Steph Curry and Wife Ayesha Welcome 2nd Daughter Ryan

Adorable little Riley Curry is officially a big sister now!

NBA champion Steph Curry and his wife Ayesha welcomed their second child into the world on Friday (Jul 10).

The couple had previously announced that the baby would be born around this time, however, no one had heard any updates from them in recent weeks. That is, until early Saturday morning when Steph tweeted, “My wife is a champ!”

The message sounded like the Golden State Warriors player was admiring his wife for handling the birth of their second child like a “champ,” and hours later, suspicions were confirmed after Ayesha herself authenticated the baby news with a post on her personal blog:

God is amazing. The gift of life is truly an indescribable thing. We were fortunate enough to experience it all over again friday night! Our beautiful little Ryan Carson Curry arrived perfectly healthy and happy!

She arrived a little early through a quick 3 hour labor and was a small 6lbs 1 oz. I was able to birth her naturally without an epidural. This is something I’ve always wanted to do and was so happy to get through it with the help of my darling husband and amazing doctor. This time around I felt more prepared and was able to take in the entire process. It was a miracle!

Stephen, Riley and I are enjoying this gorgeous gift from God and basking in the present! We are now officially a family of 4! Riley is completely enamored with her little sister and has taken on her role as big sister beautifully. I am already so proud of her!

Sounds like Riley, whose 3rd birthday is next Sunday (Jul 19), is handling the arrival of the new baby quite well.

Now, whether or not Riley shares the spotlight with her little sister during post-game interviews and press conferences in a couple of years remains to be seen. But if Ryan is anything like Riley, big sis will have no choice but to share at least some of the attention.

2 Chainz Facing $5 Million Lawsuit Over “#IsThisYoThot?” Video

Using the word “thot” in the presence of a groupie could cost you some major bucks. Just ask rapper 2 Chainz.

2 Chainz is being sued $5 million dollars by a North Carolina woman named Christine Chisolm, who claims he ruined her reputation by calling her a “thot” in a video recorded while she was backstage at one of his shows.

The video in question, which was posted on YouTube, WorldStarHipHop and various other video-sharing sites, shows 2 Chainz (real name: Tauheed Epps) asking various members of his crew “#IsThisYoThot?”

For those who don’t know, the word “thot” is an acronym for “that hoe over there.”

TMZ reports:

According to the lawsuit, Chisholm claims two weeks after the video was posted — and was seen by 10 million people — she was fired from her job at a barber shop because the manager thought the video would bring negative publicity to the shop.

Chisholm claims being called a ho subjected her to harassment and abuse in public and has severely damaged her reputation … and she wants $5,000,000 in damages.

To 2 Chainz’s defense, in the video, Chisholm acknowledged that she was being recorded and the footage would be put on a blog. So how can you really be mad when you put yourself in a position to be mocked and made fun of?

After 50+ Years, South Carolina Finally Removes Confederate Flag from Statehouse Grounds

In what South Carolina governor Nikki Haley is calling “a new day” for her state, the Confederate flag was officially removed from statehouse grounds “with dignity and respect” Friday morning (Jul 10).

South Carolina lawmakers voted this week to remove the flag, which has been flying on a flagpole located on the grounds of the S.C. Statehouse since it was moved from the building’s dome in 2000. Gov. Haley signed the bill into law Thursday afternoon.

It took just a few minutes for brave North Carolina woman Bree Newsome to hoist herself up the flag pole and yank that mofo down last week, but it took S.C. lawmakers DECADES (MORE THAN FIVE OF THEM!!!) to to get this done. YAY, FREEDOM!

The news comes nearly one month after the shooting death of nine members of a black church in Charleston. A white man named Dylann Roof, who used the Confederate flag as a symbol of hate has been charged in the shooting deaths, and authorities have called the killings a hate crime.

Led by a 7-man honor guard, the six-minute ceremony kicked off at 10 a.m. this morning in front of a large crowd that reportedly included Charleston mayor Joseph P. Riley, Jr.

The crowd applauded, cheered and chanted “USA, USA,” “God Bless America,” and “hey, hey, hey, goodbye” as the Civil War-era flag was ceremoniously lowered.

The infamous Confederate flag will be relocated to a relic room, where racists citizens honoring their “heritage” can visit it at their own leisure.

The Confederate flag was placed on statehouse grounds in 1961 to mark the 100th anniversary of the Civil War. It remained there as a protest to the civil rights movement.

Decades later, following mass protests agains the flag by those who considered it a symbol of racism and white supremacy, South Carolina (the first state to secede from the Union in 1860) offered a compromise in 2000 after lawmakers insisted that the flag was a symbol of “Southern heritage.”

The two sides agreed to move the flag from the dome to a 30-foot pole next to a Confederate museum in front of the Statehouse.

Before the Charleston Church shooting, Gov. Haley supported the flag, but the Republican had a change of heart in the days after the killing, and she personally urged legislators to pass a bill before the end of the summer.

After the flag was taken down, President Barack Obama said on Twitter that it was “a signal of good will and healing, and a meaningful step towards a better future.”

Ariana Grande Apologizes for Saying She Hates America, But She Still Hates Donuts

Adult baby Ariana Grande says she’s sorry for saying “I hate Americans” and “I hate America” in a recently leaked video of her in a donut shop over Fourth of July weekend.

Grande made headlines earlier this week after TMZ posted video footage of the pint-sized Pop star and her new backup dancer boyfriend Ricky Alvarez inside Wolfee Donuts making out and taking turns licking pastries while playing a friendly game of truth of dare.

At one point, Ariana, after receiving a tray of fresh donuts, blurted out: “What the fuck is this? I hate Americans. I hate America.”

But Ariana (who we have to remember is just a wittle baby) says she doesn’t hate America at all, and her comments were totally taken out of context. In fact, she’s “EXTREMELY proud to be an American.”

In a lengthy statement to BuzzFeed, Ariana apologizes for her comments towards her country, saying that they were made in jest due to her being an “advocate for healthy eating.”

I am EXTREMELY proud to be an American and I’ve always made it clear that I love my county. What I said in a private moment with my friend, who was buying the donuts, was taken out of context and I am sorry for not using more discretion with my choice of words.

As an advocate for healthy eating, food is very important to me and I sometimes get upset by how freely we as Americans eat and consume things without giving any thought to the consequences that it has on our health and society as a whole.

The fact that the United States has the highest child obesity rate in the world frustrates me. We need to do more to educate ourselves and our children about the dangers of overeating and the poison that we put into our bodies. We need to demand more from our food industry.

However I should have known better in how I expressed myself; and with my new responsibility to others as a public figure I will strive to be better.

TL;DR: Sorry for saying I hate America and Americans. I really hate donuts and America’s childhood obesity rates. Not sorry for licking that donut though.

Orlando Scandrick Apologizes for Making Draya Michele Feel Like a Clown: “I Still Love Her”

Orlando Scandrick feels bad for blasting his ex-fiancee Draya Michele by revealing that he was the one who called off their engagement and making her feel like “a clown,” as she put it.

As we previously reported, Scandrick told TMZ that he made a bad decision in deciding to propose to Draya and had permanently ended their relationship.

“I have made the decision to call off the engagement and permanently end the relationship I had with Draya,” Orlando said in his statement. “In hindsight, it was a poor decision to propose. I am anxious to move on with my life both personally and professionally.”

Draya responded saying she felt betrayed by Orlando and treated like a fool, tweeting: ““It must be fun to watch someone throw stones at a person, so much fun others want to join in on the rock slinging. I was just involved in a circus and didn’t know I was the clown.”

Draya also shut down rumors claiming she bought her own engagement ring. “I would NEVER buy my own ring or fake an engagement,” she tweeted.

After catching wind of Draya’s tweets, Orlando is trying to make peace with his ex and is apologizing for the statement he released to TMZ.

He says he let his emotions take over, and he still has love for Draya, despite their relationship not working out.

“I want to apologize for my original statement,” he said. “I let my emotions fly impulsively. Draya is a great mother, works hard and I wish her nothing but the best. I still love her.”

Orlando also cleared up the rumors and admitted he bought Draya her engagement ring and that cheating played no part in their relationship ending.

“I purchased the ring. I proposed,” he told TMZ. “There was no cheating involved, we just couldn’t make it work.”

Even though it seems like things are completely over, we still have hope for these two — they appeared to be so good for each other.

Khloe Kardashian & James Harden Fuel Dating Rumors, Hit Up Spin Class Together

The pair were first romantically linked after they spent the Fourth of July in Vegas together this past weekend.

TMZ reported that Khloe, James, “and his famous beard” were spotted having dinner Saturday night (Jul 4) at “a fancy Asian restaurant in the Wynn.”

Spies said the pair “looked very couple-ly — snuggling side by side during the meal,” and after dinner, they hit up a nightclub where they watched Chris Brown perform.

Earlier that day, Khloe and James were spotted near the pool at the Encore Hotel, and TMZ posted a photo (above) of the couple showing PDA “right in the open,” further proving that they’re dating.

Subway Suspends Relationship with Spokesman Jared Fogle After Child Porn Raid

Hours after Jared Fogle’s Indiana home was raided by the FBI as part of a child pornography investigation, Subway and their longtime spokesman “mutually agreed to suspend their relationships,” the sandwich chain said in a statement on Facebook.

“Jared continues to cooperate with authorities and he expects no actions to be forthcoming,” the statement continued. “Both Jared and Subway agree that this was the appropriate step to take.”

Subway found themselves in an awkward position this week when their beloved spokesman ended up involved in a child porn sting, thanks to a man linked to Fogle named Russell Taylor.

Taylor — a former director at Fogle’s Jared Foundation, a charity Fogle founded to combat childhood obesity — was arrested and convicted of possessing child pornography earlier this year.

Taylor was allegedly found with hundreds of videos containing child pornography and he’s also accused of producing some of the material, and the Jared Foundation fired him after his arrest.

Fogle’s house was raided early Tuesday morning (Jul 7) in connection with the ongoing investigation.

He hasn’t been placed under arrest and cooperated with investigators during the raid, which included a daylong forensic sweep of electronic items such as computer hardware and DVDs.

Fogle became the face of Subway around 2000 after losing 245 pounds thanks to a diet based on chain’s sandwiches.

In the wake of the child porn scandal, Subway has removed pages referencing Fogle from its website, and we wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve already pulled his commercials from the air.

Justin Bieber Gets Colorful in “Where Are Ü Now” Video with Skrillex and Diplo

The official video for Skirllex and Diplo’s “Where Are Ü Now” featuring Justin Bieber is here, and it’s perfect.

Skrillex and Diplo (collectively known as Jack Ü) don’t make any appearances in the colorful clip, leaving Justin Bieber all alone in front of the camera for the video’s entire duration. On paper, that sounds pretty boring, but it works!

In front of an artsy backdrop, Bieber’s skin and the area around him transforms, constantly shifting into a canvas of colors, fan illustrations and calligraphy — a simple,  yet effective, way to promote this catchy EDM track.

“You have art being done in the background where they are actually taking each frame and giving it to an artist and they all are painting,” Bieber told ABC’s Good Morning America.

“We rented out an art gallery and then from there we took all the frames from the video and invited different artists, fans, whoever wanted to come and draw on the different framed,” DJ/producer Skrillex added.

Big Sean Grows Old with Jhené Aiko in “I Know” Video

Big Sean and Jhené Aiko grow old together in the video for their collaboration single “I Know.”

The playful video sees Sean and Aiko as senior citizens who fall in love at a nursing home, however their mutual attraction refuses to be tied down to the confines of the home.

So in the middle of a sanctioned mixer/dance, the elderly couple sneaks out and heads to a bar where they reclaim their youth, playing pool, arm wrestling with the young people, throwing back shots and singing karaoke on stage.

At the end of the video, after they kiss in the dark, a light is switched on by a nursing home staffer and Big Sean and Jhené Aiko return to their normal, 20-something selves.

Walt Disney World Confirms Bill Cosby Bust Statue Removal

A spokesman for the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlanfo, Florida confirmed today that a bronze bust statue of Bill Cosby has been removed from the park.

The statue, which was on display at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park, was removed when at the close of business Tuesday night, the spokesman told NBC News.

The decision to take down the statue came just one day after unsealed court documents revealed that Cosby admitted to using quaaludes and Benadryl to drug women he wanted to have sex with.

A Change.org petition was created several months ago urging Disney World to remove the statue, which was displayed at Disney World’s Hall of Fame Plaza alongside statues depicting other famous TV icons who have been inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame such as Lucille Ball, Oprah Winfrey, Andy Griffith and Walt Disney himself.

“The Disney name is synonymous with family-friendly entertainment and with Mr. Cosby in the media daily facing accusations of sexual assault with the number of victims ever-climbing, it is inappropriate for Disney Parks to have a replica of Mr. Cosby’s likeness on display,” the petition stated.

An individual with knowledge of the statue’s removal told The Wrap that Disney’s decision was made after an internal review, and was not sparked by the petition.

Jill Scott Admits She Was “Wrong” for Defending Bill Cosby Against Rape Allegations

Last November, after dozens of women had already come forward accusing Bill Cosby of drugging and raping them, Jill Scott defended Cosby on Twitter, questioning the claims made by the alleged victims.

Now, after finding out that her former mentor admitted in a court deposition to drugging women he wanted to have sex with, Scott is admitting she was “wrong” to defend the now-disgraced comedian.

Paula Deen Reignites Racist Scandal with Brownface Photo

It’s been two years since Paula Deen‘s career imploded after she admitted to using racial slurs towards African Americans, and it looks like the former Food Network star still has not learned her lesson. Racism equals NOT COOL, bro.

Tuesday morning, Deen tweeted the above photo for #TransformationTuesday — an image of her and her son Bobby dressed up as Lucille Ball‘s character and Ricky Ricardo (played by Cuban-American Desi Arnaz) from “I Love Lucy,” complete with what many blogs and media outlets are calling “brownface.”

As any one should know in the year 2015, wearing blackface, or in this case, “brownface,” is a no-no. But apparently Paula Deen (or the person running her social media accounts) didn’t get that memo.

After the dumb tweet created a shit storm online, it was promptly deleted and the person behind the posting was fired.

“Paula immediately had this picture taken down as soon as she saw the post and apologizes to all who were offended,” Deen’s spokesman told The Huffington Post. “As such, Paula Deen Ventures has terminated their relationship with this Social Media Manager.”

Paula Deen was first outed as a racist in 2013 after court documents from a former employee’s lawsuit against her revealed that she admitted to using the N-word multiple times in reference to African Americans.

As a result, Deen was dropped from a number of lucrative endorsement deals and she went on an apology tour, tearfully declaring on the Today show “I is what I is.”
