Halle Berry “Heartbroken” Over Sudden Death of “BAPS” Co-Star Natalie Desselle-Reid

Halle Berry is mourning the death of her B*A*P*S co-star Natalie Desselle-Reid.

Responding to the sudden news, Berry took to Twitter Monday afternoon (Dec. 7), writing: “I’m in total shock… completely heartbroken. Gonna need a minute. #RIP @NatalieDesselle”

She also retweeted a post she’d tweeted last week (just days before Desselle-Reid passed) of them on the set of B*A*P*S back in 1996.

Halle then followed that post with an emotional tribute about her friend, saying that she’s still “processing” the “devastating news.”

“Natalie was one of the most precious people I’ve ever known,” wrote Berry, who said she met Desselle-Reid through actor and director Robert Townsend. Berry and Desselle-Reid both starred in the cult classic comedy B*A*P*S, which was directed by Townsend.

“The second I met her our hearts [were] intertwined — we had a connection that was simply unexplainable, and she stayed her same sweet self all the years I knew her,” Berry said of her co-star.

Desselle-Reid was also known for her roles in the UPN series Eve (2003-2006), the 1997 retelling of Cinderella, which starred Brandy and Whitney Houston, Madea’s Big Happy Family (2001), Set It Off (1996), among many others.

Continuing her post, Berry wrote that through her characters, Desselle-Reid taught “love, joy and humor,” adding that her friend “could never dim her light, and it was infectious.”

“With her I laughed harder than I’d ever laughed before,” Berry recalled. “She showed us it was ok to be goofy and funny while still being sincere and extraordinarily kind. She and I would hoot and holler over every BAPS tribute we came across, sending them back and forth to one another, overwhelmed that our on-screen friendship meant as much to you as it did to us. She was especially humbled by that, as am I.”

Berry went on: “Natalie represented actual black women, not what black women are perceived to be. For that she was often underrated, passed over — deprived of the platform she truly deserved. But her light continues to shine through the people who grew up watching her, the people who knew her best and those of us who loved her.”

“Above all, she was a daughter, wife, friend and mother; and my heart is with her entire family, especially with Leonard, Sereno, Summer and Sasha,” Berry concluded, referring to Desselle-Reid’s husband and children. “I’ll love you forever my sweet friend. ima miss you Nat Dog!”

Desselle-Reid’s passing was first announced Monday afternoon by Holly Robinson Peete.

Deselle-Reid’s own Instagram account confirmed the sad news about an hour or so later.

“It is with extremely heavy hearts that we share the loss of our beautiful Natalie this morning from colon cancer,” the post’s caption read. “She was a bright light in this world. A queen. An extraordinary mother and wife.

“Her diverse career touched so many and she will be loved forever. Naturally, we are grieving and processing this profound loss and we thank you in advance for respecting our privacy at this extremely difficult time.”

While the official statement didn’t reveal Natalie’s cause of death, TMZ reported that she passed following a private battle with colon cancer.

A family member said the actress was diagnosed with the disease earlier this year. They also said she was in hospice care in her final days and was surrounded by family when she passed.

Lil Baby Responds to Porn Star Ms. London Exposing Him for Paying Her $6,000 for Sex: “If I Pay for P***y You Not Supposed to Speak On It”

Not only is Lil Baby killing the rap game, apparently he is a monster in the bedroom as well.

Pornstar Ms. London got real messy on Twitter tonight and without name-dropping “The Bigger Picture” rapper revealed that his d**k game is amazing and that his girlfriend/baby mama Jayda is NOT going anywhere.

Ms. London also claimed that Lil Baby paid her $6000 for the occasion and blew her back out without saying a word to her.

Just last week, Lil Baby and his GF/baby mama Jayda Cheaves (aka “Jayda Wayda”) celebrated his 26th birthday together along with many of his industry friends.

During the party, Jayda gifted Lil Baby a super expensive Richard Mille watch, which cost her a hefty $200,000 and is 1 out of 12 ever created.

The young Hip Hop couple is widely admired by fans and lately have appeared to be unbreakable.

However, Lil Baby’s response to Ms. London’s claims may show that they might not be as happy as they put on to be.

Lil Baby confirmed that he and Ms. London did sleep together, but also called her out for speaking on the encounter after he paid her for the goods.

“What’s the point of paying if you do all that !! You fu**in the game up !! If I pay for p***y [you ain’t] supposed to speak on it. That’s bad business mama,” the “Woah” rapper wrote in a message.

Jayda also gave her take on the incident and surprisingly appeared to be on Lil Baby’s side. She tweeted that Ms. London was trying to ruin Lil Baby’s brand and was bad for business.

Jayda also spoke on people plotting against you when they see you gain any form of happiness, and said that it’s best to stay lowkey.

We hate to see it for Jayda because she is a real ride or die.

Lil Baby better get it together before sis realizes her worth!

R&B Singer Ann Marie Arrested for Allegedly Shooting “Side Dude” in the Head

Up and coming R&B singer Ann Marie is facing some pretty serious charges after she allegedly shot her “side dude” in the head … but she claims the whole thing was an accident.

Here’s what you need to know about Ann Marie and the shooting.

Ann Marie was hit with 2 felony charges for shooting her “side dude” in the head.

Atlanta police said they responded to reports of a shooting at a hotel around just before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 2) and when they arrived, they found the victim laying on the floor inside a room suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

The 24-year-old man, whose identity wasn’t released, was reportedly rushed to Grady Hospital conscious, alert and breathing to receive medical treatment.

Police who responded to the scene and spoke with the person who made the call, as well as Ann Marie (whose real name is Joann Slater).

The 25-year-old told detectives that the whole thing was an accident. She said the gun fell off a table in the room, and it discharged, striking him in the head.

Police obviously didn’t buy her story, because she was arrested on the spot, and is now facing two felony charges: aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.

Because Ann Marie is currently in a relationship, the man who was shot is being described as her “side dude.”

Unconfirmed reports online suggest the songstress shot her “side dude” because she’d found out he’d been cheating on her.

Ann Marie was previously arrested in November 2020 and August 2018.

According to online arrest records, Ann Marie has been arrested twice in Georgia before the shooting incident.

She was arrested in August 2018 by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office on a bench warrant for speeding, driving without a valid license, and failure to have license on person stemming from an incident in 2017.

Just last month, she was arrested by the Atlanta Police Department on a simple battery charge and was released on a $1,500 surety bond. Details about that case aren’t available.

Ann Marie is an up and coming singer from Chicago best known for her single “Secret” featuring YK Osiris.

Ann Marie is from Englewood, Chicago (a neighborhood in the city’s South Side) and is signed to Interscope Records.

She’s best known for her single “Secret” (featuring rapper/singer YK Osiris), which was released in January 2019. The video for the single has received over 50 million views on YouTube and peaked at #22 on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart.

Her debut EP Pretty Psycho was released through Zulu Entertainment and Interscope on July 10th, 2019. Prior to that, she released three mixtapes independently: Unf**kwittable (May 2017), Tripolar (April 2018) and Tripolar 2 (2019).

Ann Marie also has songs with R&B singer/songwriter Jeremih (“Drip”), Alabama rapper Yung Bleu (“Ride for Me”), and Chicago rapper G Herbo (“Stress Relief”).

Ann Marie was discovered at a G Herbo concert in Chicago in 2017 and was signed to Interscope just two years later.

When Ann Marie was signed to Interscope last year, Variety described her music as a healthy mix of “90’s and 2000s-era R&B with contemporary sounds, in a way consistent with Ella Mai and H.E.R.”

Variety’s article also noted that Marie has “been lauded by the hip-hop and R&B press as well as Pitchfork and Rolling Stone.”

According to Variety, Marie was discovered by rapper and co-founder of City Entertainment Group Mikkey Halsted in 2017 after he met her at a G Herbo concert in Chicago.

Halsted said she had “star written all over her,” and he signed her to his management company immediately.

“Management was just the best fit for Ann and me, because I wanted to be as hands-on as possible and knew she’d be huge really fast,” Halsted said.

Caroline “Baroline” Diaz, Interscope’s senior director of A&R (who also signed DaBaby), also reached out to Ann Marie early on.

“She’s a rare combination of singer/songwriter that speaks for a generation and whose sound is already resonating beyond her Chicago roots,” Diaz noted.

At the time of her signing, Ann Marie told Variety: “I’m really excited to be joining the Interscope family, they love and are supportive of everything that I’ve built so far on my own. I’m just ready to go even harder and keep putting out amazing music.”

5-Year-Old Boy Hit & Killed After Mom’s Boyfriend Forced Him Out of Car As Punishment for “Acting Out”

A 5-year-old Alabama boy is dead after he was hit by a car Saturday night (Nov. 28) in Fort Mitchell after his mom’s boyfriend forced him out of the car as punishment for “acting out” and “being unruly.”

Police said the child, Austin Birdseye, was riding in a vehicle with his mother’s boyfriend, 35-year-old Bryan Starr, on an “exceptionally dangerous road” when he was forced out of the car in the middle of the rain.

Russell County Sheriff Heath Taylor told CBS News that his office, along with state troopers, responded to calls about a pedestrian being hit, and didn’t know it was a child until they arrived on the scene.

Taylor told local news station WTVM Austin wandered onto Highway 165, which he described as a busy road, and was killed after he was struck by another vehicle.

The sheriff said Starr had taken the boy on a drive to “calm him down” because he was acting up at home, but even in the car he continued “being unruly,” Starr told authorities.

“[Austin] was still acting out and so Mr. Starr pulled off the road and told him to get out of the car,” Sheriff Taylor said. “Now, this is 8:00 at night, it’s raining, it’s cold and he tells the child to get out of the car.”

Starr told authorities when the boy got out of the car and started walking, he lost sight of him.

“And the next thing he knows, he walked out into a very busy four-lane and gets hit by an oncoming vehicle,” Taylor said of the 5-year-old, who later died at the hospital.

Taylor said the boyfriend was arrested for murder and is out on bond. He could face 20 years to life in prison if convicted as charged.

“I definitely think Mr. Starr made a bad decision,” Taylor said. “I can understand trying to discipline a child — I don’t understand putting a child out in the rain and losing sight of the child. That’s what is just mind-boggling to me. I don’t know what he was thinking.”

Taylor pointed out that Starr and the boy’s mother, Christina Birdseye, have been in a long-term relationship, and they live together in a home off the highway where the boy was hit and killed, and Starr “knows how congested that road is.”

“For him to put a child out in the area on purpose and intentionally tell the child to get out of the car, I’m struggling following the mindset there,” Taylor said.

“I hope it serves as a lesson to parents. There’s way to discipline your child… but we have to do it the right way and we can’t do it in a way that’s going to potentially bring harm.”

The sheriff, who wasn’t at the scene, said deputies told him Starr—who is in the military and is stationed at Fort Benning in Georgia, which borders Russell County, Alabama—showed remorse after the incident.

“They said you could tell he was upset. I don’t know that was certainly his intent originally to do that, but his actions caused the death, ultimately, with Austin,” Taylor said.

The driver of the car who hit the boy isn’t facing any charges, and the crash itself is being investigated by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Pretty Ricky’s Spectacular Blue Smith Arrested for Punching Disney World Employee After COVID-19 Joke

Spectacular Blue Smith of the group Pretty Ricky was arrested Monday (Nov. 30) after he allegedly assaulted a Walt Disney World employee who asked him to stop joking about COVID-19.

Orange County police said the 35-year-old was in line for a ride at the resort’s Animal Kingdom theme park Monday night when he walked past a Disney World employee, pretended to sneeze and said “coronavirus.”

The employee told Smith that he didn’t think his joke was funny, to which the rapper allegedly responded: “I thought it was.”

According to the arrest affidavit (via People), the employee then told Smith: “Then you’ll think it’s hilarious if I asked you to step out of the line.”

After Smith refused to leave the line, he and the employee argued for a few moments before the employee put his arm out in an attempt to stop Smith from proceeding in the line.

At that point, Smith “turned and punched him on his right side jaw and right temple area,” the affidavit said.

The employee told authorities that he stumbled and fell after the hit, and said he “was in shock and thought he might have lost consciousness.”

The staffer was taken to a nearby hospital, where he underwent a CT scan and was diagnosed with a concussion.

Two witnesses told police they heard the exchange, and police said there were two others who said they saw Smith punch the staffer.

Smith’s son, however, reportedly told police that his dad lost his balance while trying to duck under the worker’s arm, and when he reached out for something to grab, he “accidentally” punched the worker.

Smith was arrested for battery and was released after posting $500 bond. The rapper took to social media after the incident, writing on his Instagram stories:

“The more success you have as a black man, the bigger target you are. The media will put out a one sided story even without facts, because they enjoy demonizing our culture and bringing us down. It’s sad.

“However, when you know your rights, you know you have the right to remain silent and a right to have a lawyer present before giving a statement. With that said, there’s 2 sides to every story and since this story is bigger than me and the color of my skin, I’ll wait till my attorney gives the green light. Thanks for your support. Love … Ps: Y’all know my character.”

U.S. Justice Department Investigating Trump Administration for Potential Presidential Pardon Bribery Scheme

Cash for presidential pardons, anyone?

CNN is reporting that they have obtained unsealed federal court records uncovering an investigation from the United States Justice Department into President Donald Trump’s administration for “a potential crime related to funneling money to the White House or related political committee in exchange for a presidential pardon.”

The court records reportedly include 20 pages of partially redacted documents made public by the D.C. District Court Tuesday afternoon (Dec. 1).

The records show a review from Chief Judge Beryl Howell back in August requesting prosecutors to access documents obtained in a search as part of a bribery-for-pardon investigation.

While the filings don’t reveal a specific timeline of the alleged scheme, or any names of people potentially involved, it does show that communications between people, including at least one lawyer, were seized from an office that was raided sometime before the end of the summer, CNN reports.

At the end of this summer, a filter team, used to make sure prosecutors don’t receive tainted evidence that should have been kept from them because it was privileged, had more than 50 digital devices including iPhones, iPads, laptops, thumb drives and computer drives after investigators raided the unidentified offices.

Prosecutors told the court they wanted permission to the filter team’s holdings. The prosecutors believed the devices revealed emails that showed allegedly criminal activity, including a “secret lobbying scheme” and a bribery conspiracy that offered “a substantial political contribution in exchange for a presidential pardon or reprieve of sentence” for a convicted defendant whose name is redacted, according to the redacted documents.

Communications between attorneys and clients are typically privileged and kept from prosecutors as they build their cases, but in this situation, Howell allowed the prosecutors access. Attorney-client communications are not protected as privileged under the law when there is discussion of a crime, among other exceptions.

“The political strategy to obtain a presidential pardon was ‘parallel’ to and distinct from [redacted]’s role as an attorney-advocate for [redacted name],” Howell wrote in her court order.

The grand jury investigation also appears to relate to unnamed people acting as unregistered “lobbyists to senior White House officials” as they sought to secure a pardon and use an intermediary to send a bribe, the unsealed court records say.

Prosecutors were unable to provide evidence of any criminal wrongdoing to the judge (i.e. a direct payment to the Trump administration), and no one appears to have been publicly charged with a related crime to date, however, they were able to prove that someone was seeking clemency due to past and future political contributions.

The investigators reportedly told the court that they planned to “confront” three people with communications to complete their investigation.

The case is the latest legal twist in the last days of the Trump administration after several of his top advisers have been convicted of federal criminal charges, and as possibility rises of Trump giving pardons to his loyalists.

Can January 20th, 2021 get here any faster?

Quincy Hosts Safe, Socially Distanced Party with Shaggy & Patoranking in “Aye Yo” (Remix) Video

Quincy has teamed up with reggaeton legend Shaggy and Africa’s Patoranking for the remix of his dancehall hit song “Aye Yo”

The music video sees the trio playing it safe and adhering to today’s social distancing standards by coordinating and hosting a “digital” party via live streaming from various locations around the world.

Though Quincy is in the United States, Shaggy is in Jamaica, and Patoranking is in Nigeria, they’re not letting a global pandemic stop them from being able to party together.

Quincy spoke on the significance of uniting various voices across the globe to complete his vision for the song and video, saying via press release: “As a new artist, I wanted to execute a different aspect of a REMIX, not just to release a new version for the life of the song, but for our fans to see why this alliance was key in highlighting the merge of sounds and visuals. . For me, creating the video was like taking two steps back, as all three of us are in different parts of the world – US, Jamaica and Nigeria.”

He continued: “It’s about uniting people in a new age. I also wanted to highlight what is happening in Nigeria (SARS, a scandal involving Nigeria’s Special Anti-Robbery Squad), and supporting Patoranking’s movement there. I am also grateful for Shaggy, as his music brings light and rhythm to so many around the world. With this song and video, I’m in really good company.”

“Aye Yo” (Remix) follows the release of the original track, which dropped back in August.

Jeremih Taken Off Ventilator & Transferred Out of ICU After COVID-19 Health Scare

Jeremih is on the road to recovery after contracting COVID-19. The R&B singer’s family says he’s out of the ICU and has been transferred to a regular hospital room.

“Jeremih has been transferred out of ICU,” his family said in a statement. “He will spend the rest of his recovery time in a regular hospital room. The true healing begins. Thank you all for your continued prayers and wishes.”

The news comes after the 33-year-old’s agent revealed Thursday (Nov. 19) that he’d been taken off the ventilator, but his condition was still considered critical at the time.

However, now that he’s been moved to a regular hospital room, it sounds like his condition has done a complete 180 … though he’s not completely out of the woods just yet.

It isn’t clear whether Jeremih still has the coronavirus or when/how he contracted it, but let’s just continue to keep him in our prayers.

News of Jeremih’s hospitalization first broke last Saturday (Nov. 14) when 50 Cent revealed that he’d been placed in the ICU after testing positive for the deadly virus that has so far claimed the lives of over 250,000 Americans.

“Pray for my boy @jeremih he’s not doing good this covid s— is real … he’s in ICU in Chicago,” 50 Cent wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the pair, who have collaborated multiple times over the years. The rapper later added in another post: “Thank you for [praying] for my boy Jeremih he is responsive today, doing a little better.”

A number of Jeremih’s other celebrity friends also solicited prayers via social media, including Hitmaka, Chance the Rapper, Big Sean, Toni Braxton, and more.

Summer Walker Confirms Pregnancy With London on Da Track’s Baby (PHOTOS)

Summer Walker is pregnant with her first child.

The 24-year-old singer-songwriter took to Instagram Friday (Nov. 20) to confirm speculation that she’s pregnant with her boyfriend London on Da Track’s baby.

In the post, she’s clearly rocking a growing baby bump, which she cradles with her hand, and she captioned the post with a bunch of angel emojis.

Walker’s pregnancy announcement comes after weeks of speculation by fans who claimed to have noticed her showing in a recent IG live session.

Walker, at the time, denied being pregnant and said that she was simply “bloated.”

Walker and London, who’ve been dating on and off for over a year, have been seemingly keeping this pregnancy under wraps for some time.

Just a week ago, the couple posted photos on IG from a recent picnic date at the park, and a midriff-baring Walker could be seen performing yoga poses in a bra and leggings, which sparked speculation about her pregnancy status in the comments.

Boosie Badazz Did Have Surgery on His Leg After Being Shot, But It Was NOT Amputated

While Boosie Badazz did go under the knife after getting shot in the leg, contrary to reports, surgeons did NOT remove his foot (or his leg), and he’s already home from the hospital recovering.

TMZ reports:

Our sources say Boosie had a procedure to remove bullet fragments, and he had some screws put in to make sure his foot properly heals.

Boosie has diabetes, which led to speculation about potential amputation, but we’re told the only medical decisions in relation to his diabetes had to do with his pre-surgery diet.

Our sources say Boosie and his docs had to hammer out a diet to make sure he would be fine while under anesthesia, and Boosie ended up taking 24 hours to decide if he even wanted the procedures done.

As was previously reported, Boosie was shot in the leg last weekend in Dallas, just days after his friend and collaborator Mo3 was killed there in a fatal shooting.

Sources say Boosie was released from the hospital Tuesday (Nov. 17) and he’s currently resting at home, but still in a lot of pain because the gunshot wound is near his knee.

It’s going to take him at least six weeks to recover, but hey … at least he still has both of his legs!

Kyle Rittenhouse, 17-Year-Old Kenosha Shooter, Released From Jail After Posting $2M Bail

Kyle Rittenhouse—the 17-year-old domestic terrorist accused of shooting three people, two fatally, in Kenosha, Wisconson—is a free man … for now.

Rittenhouse was released from the Kenosha County Jail Friday afternoon (Nov. 20) after posting $2 million bail.

The teen is accused of fatally shooting Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber and wounding Gaige Grosskreutz during a Black Lives Matter protest back in August following the police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha.

He posted bond through his attorney around 2 p.m., Kenosha County Sheriff’s Sgt. David Wright said.

Rittenhouse—who is from Antioch, Illinois—told police he was attacked while guarding a business and that he opened fire in self-defense.

He faces a litany of charges, including intentional homicide, reckless endangerment, and being a minor in possession of a firearm. Under Wisconsin law, minors are not permitted to carry or possess a gun unless they’re hunting.

Rittenhouse’s case has taken on political overtones, with BLM supporters painting him as a trigger-happy white supremacist, and conservatives upset over property destruction during recent protests portraying him as a patriot exercising his right to bear arms during civil unrest.

A legal defense fund for him has raised millions of dollars in donations, and his mother received a standing ovation from women at a Waukesha County GOP function in September.

The teen’s attorney, Mark Richards, originally asked for $750K bail, and John Huber—father of Anthony Huber—asked Kenosha County Circuit Court Commissioner Loren Keating to set his bail between $4 million and $10 million.

Huber said Rittenhouse thinks he’s above the law and also noted the effort to raise money on his behalf. He also suggested militia groups would do their best to hide him from police if he were released.

Ultimately, Keating set Rittenhouse’s bail at $2 million, saying that he was a flight risk given the seriousness of his charges. He’s due back in court on December 3rd for a preliminary hearing.

Rittenhouse spoke out publicly for the first time in an interview with the Washington Post, and said that he does not regret killing two people and injuring another because he believes he was protecting himself and considers himself “patriotic.”

“I was going into a place where people had guns, and God forbid somebody brought a gun to me and tried to shoot me,” he said. “So, I like wanted to be protected and I ended up having to protect myself.”

Rittenhouse added: “No I don’t regret it. I feel I had to protect myself. I feel like I would have died if I didn’t.”

The Washington Post also found out that Rittenhouse, who was too young to buy a rifle himself, arranged for an adult friend to buy the weapon for him using money Rittenhouse received from a government stimulus program.

Bobby Brown Jr’s Family Says He Died After Experiencing Flu-Like Symptoms

The family of Bobby Brown Jr. says he wasn’t feeling well in the days leading up to his death and he was experiencing flu-like symptoms.

As was previously reported, Bobby Brown’s son was found dead Wednesday (Nov. 18) in his Los Angeles-area home, and police said they believed there was no foul play involved.

Family sources say while the 28-year-old was experiencing flu-like symptoms, he did NOT have COVID-19.

The news adds up because shortly after his passing, one of Bobby Jr’s friend’s leaked a recent conversation they had in which he complained of having a “cough” that came on suddenly. He also complained of other flu-like symptoms, but made it clear that he did not have COVID.

The Brown family said they’re letting authorities conduct an investigation into Bobby Jr’s death, and Bobby Sr. is asking for prayers.

“Please keep my family in your prayers at this time,” Brown said in a statement. “Losing my son at this point in our lives has devastated my family. There are no words to explain the pain.”

Police also said there were no signs of foul play, there were no drugs found at the scene and they will be conducting a toxicology test.

Chicago PhD Student Accused of Stalking & Killing Her Ex-Boyfriend

A gender studies Ph.D. student at the University of Illinois Chicago is facing serious charges after she allegedly stalked her ex-boyfriend by following him all the way to Washington, D.C. before shooting and killing him.

37-year-old Nijinsky Latassia Dix, who was also an employee at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, was charged with second-degree murder Saturday (Nov. 14) in the death of 44-year-old Terry Hickman, police said.

According to court documents obtained by NBC Chicago, when officers arrived at Hickman’s apartment, they found Dix kneeling at his feet with a gun in her hand. The cops then asked her to drop the weapon, and she did, the docs stated.

Hickman was pronounced dead at the scene. While there, the officers heard a voice and noticed that a cell phone was connected to a call on speakerphone.

The cops then picked up the phone and spoke to the other person on the other end of the call who identified herself as Dix’s mother.

“The individual stated the defendant called her and stated, ‘He pushed me, and I shot him,'” the court docs continued.

Police said prior to the shooting, someone spotted the former couple in a parking garage.

Witnesses reported hearing a woman screaming “Oh my God!” and “Help me!” after multiple shots were fired around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, and they also said they saw a woman pacing on the balcony.

After the shooting, Dix was taken to a hospital where she told a doctor she’d “blacked out” and suffered from memory loss.

Emergency medical staff said the woman had an abrasion inside her lower lip, but the cause was unclear. One doctor told police it didn’t look like Dix had been physically assaulted.

At the police station, Dix complained of suffering from memory loss once again, and asked detectives to show her something that might help jog her memory.

When they showed her a picture of Hickman, Dix allegedly started crying and repeatedly said: “Get it away from me.”

At one point Dix said: “You don’t do people you love like that, that’s not love, I don’t want that, he can’t do people like that, you don’t do people you love like that. I’m sorry.”

Detectives later talked to an individual who said Dix had been “stalking [Hickman] and that she was from out of state but somehow found out where he resided,” the court filings stated.

That person said Dix and Hickman dated for three months before breaking up in May.

A spokesman for the University of Notre Dame confirmed Dixon’s employment, saying that she was the director of the “Talent Search Upward Bound” program known as “TRIO,” and that they were “aware of her arrest and will cooperate with law enforcement as appropriate.”

Missy Elliott Sends Bride $1,300 to Purchase Her Dream Wedding Dress

Ireanna Bradshaw’s getting married in March, but she and her fiance, Roderick Purdie, are also trying to move into their own place while planning the wedding, and long story short … the costs were pilling up.

The rapper congratulated Ireanna, but also followed up with a message saying “Your Dress is paid for now.” Sure enough, Ireanna tells us she was in a restaurant with her mom when she saw Missy sent the money in full … and broke down in tears.

Ireanna says Missy’s been an inspiration for a long time — one who helped her love herself and be open to love … which brought her to Roderick.

She says without the financial gift she would have had to settle for a simple white dress or something much cheaper. Ireanna tells us Missy “literally made it possible for me to have my dream dress and be confident on the most precious day in my life.”

How nice of Missy!

Boosie Badazz Still in the Hospital After Dallas Shooting, Leg Could Be Amputated (Report)

Boosie Badazz is reportedly still in the hospital days after he was shot in Dallas, and we’re hearing that he’s suffering from major complications … so much so that he could possibly lose the leg he was shot in.

As was previously reported, Boosie was paying his respects to slain Dallas rapper Mo3—who was a friend and collaborator of his—when he was shot in the city on Saturday (Nov. 14).

Police said Boosie and his crew were driving in a sprinter van near a strip mall called Big T’s Plaza at the time of the shooting. They said at some point during the day, someone opened fire on the vehicle and one of the bullets struck Boosie in the leg.

The shooter(s) fled the scene, and Boosie was taken to a hospital, where he was treated for a gunshot wound below the knee.

Sources close to the rapper said he was doing fine, and his injury was life-threatening, but now it’s being reported that he’s still in the hospital and experiencing serious complications in the leg he was shot in.

According to Gossip of the City: “We’re being told that Boosie is still in the hospital & is having complications in the leg that he was shot in due to his diabetes. From what we hear it’s not looking good for his leg.”

Because Boosie suffers from diabetes, which he reportedly doesn’t take care of regularly, his leg is not healing properly … and we hear that if things continue to get worse, doctors will recommend an amputation so that the infection doesn’t spread throughout his body, which would kill him.

GOTC also reported that Boosie was shot because the opps thought he was in Dallas to retaliate after Mo3 was murdered … but that wasn’t the case at all.

He was just there to pay his respects to his late friend, who was honored at a vigil held at Dallas City Hall.

We’re praying for a speedy recovery for Boosie.
