Paul McCartney Says He & John Lennon Got Bored One Night & Masturbated Together With Friends

Paul McCartney and John Lennon were super close back in the day. And when I say “super close,” I mean REALLY CLOSE. I’m talking, closer than close. So close that they, erhm … pleasured themselves together once (or twice).

In a new interview with GQ, McCartney was talking about the early days of The Beatles when he revealed that he and Lennon got hella bored one night and masturbated together along with some friends, giving the popular Beatles songs “All You Need Is Love” and “I Want to Hold Your Hand” have totally different meanings.

McCartney said he was over at John’s house with a small group of friends “instead of just getting roaring drunk and partying—I don’t even know if we were staying over or anything—we were all just in these chairs, and the lights were out, and somebody started masturbating, so we all did.”

Paul went on to say that he, Lennon and around three of Lennon’s friends would shout out the names of sexy celebs to make their jerking off more pleasurable. “We were just, ‘Brigitte Bardot!’ ‘Whoo!’ and then everyone would thrash a bit more.”

But their circle jerk came to an abrupt halt when John killed the mood by shouting out the name “Winston Churchill.”

Asked whether this group jack-off session was a one-time thing, McCartney said: “I think it was a one-off. Or maybe it was like a two-off. It wasn’t a big thing. But, you know, it was just the kind of thing you didn’t think much of. It was just a group. Yeah, it’s quite raunchy when you think about it. There’s so many things like that from when you’re a kid that you look back on and you’re, ‘Did we do that?’ But it was good harmless fun. It didn’t hurt anyone. Not even Brigitte Bardot.”

Paul McCartney also revealed more “intimate” moments with his former bandmates, like that one time they cheered a 17-year-old George Harrison (the band’s lead guitarist) on while he lost his virginity.

“I know we had one bed and two sets of bunks,” McCartney said, “and if one of the guys brought a girl back, they could just be in the bed with a blanket over them, and you wouldn’t really notice much except a little bit of movement. I don’t know whether that was George losing his virginity—it might have been.”

(Editor’s Note: George Harrison himself told his side of the story years ago in ‘The Beatles Anthology.’ He said: “My first shag was in Hamburg – with Paul and John and [the group’s first drummer] Pete Best all watching. We were in bunk beds. They couldn’t really see anything because I was under the covers, but after I’d finished, they all applauded and cheered. At least they kept quiet while I was doing it.”)

Paul continued, “I mean, I think in the end this was one of the strengths of the Beatles, this enforced closeness which I always liken to army buddies. Because you’re all in the same barracks. We were always very close and on top of each other, which meant you could totally read each other.”

And when Paul McCartney says he and his bandmates were “very close and on top of each other,” he means that in a literal sense. Once, McCartney said the lads were so cold while touring in a van in the middle of the winter, they laid on top of each other to keep warm. “We suffered for a while, just shivering, and then someone said: Well, why don’t we…? So we did a Beatles sandwich.”

McCartney can’t recall who was on top of the Beatles sandwich though. “I don’t know,” he said. “It would be lovely if I remembered. It warmed us. It was a good idea.”

As for the rumors that drug-loving rock stars were throwing wild orgies at the height of their fame, McCartney denied those, saying that wasn’t really his thing. But he did admit to having sex with two hookers in Vegas, and he also talked about how John had sex with a man’s wife while the husband looked on.

“There weren’t really orgies, to my knowledge. There were sexual encounters of the celestial kind, and there were groupies. The nearest it got… See, this is my experience, because I’m just not into orgies. I don’t want anyone else there, personally. It ruins it! I would think—I’ve never actually done it. Didn’t appeal to me, the idea.

“There was once when we were in Vegas where the tour guy, a fixer, said, ‘You’re going to Vegas, guys—you want a hooker?’ We were all, ‘Yeah!’ And I requested two. And I had them, and it was a wonderful experience. But that’s the closest I ever came to an orgy.

“See, the thing is, in the next room I think the guys might have ordered something else off the menu. So that would figure if John was saying, yeah, it was all bacchanalian.

“I think John was a little more that way, because thinking back, I remember there was someone in a club that he’d met, and they’d gone back to the house because the wife fancied John, wanted to have sex with him, so that happened, and John discovered the husband was watching. That was called ‘kinky’ in those days.”

Sounds like The Beatles had a lot of “fun” back in their heyday.

Baltimore Cops Carry Toy Guns to Plant on People They Shoot

We already know of a few Baltimore cops who are trash. In fact, we know of at least seven police officers from the Maryland city who we would consider “bad cops.”

Lieutenant Brian Rice, Sergeant Alicia White, Officer William Porter, Officer Garrett Miller, Officer Edward Nero, and Officer Caesar Goodson were directly responsible for the death of Freddie Gray in April 2015. The charges against all six of them were dropped, and they were all back to work by November 2017.

And just last month, Officer Arthur Williams was caught on video punching and tackling an unarmed man for no reason. He was suspended with pay and charged with assault. He pleaded not guilty, because of course.

But if you needed further evidence that some members of the Baltimore Police Department are walking garbage cans, look no further than this Vice article from January 2018 talking about how a trial revealed how Baltimore cops have a way to shoot anyone they want with impunity: they carry toy guns in their patrol cars to plant on innocent people.

From Vice:

Detective Maurice Ward, who’s already pleaded guilty to corruption charges, testified that he and his partners were told to carry the replicas and BB guns “in case we accidentally hit somebody or got into a shootout, so we could plant them.” The directive allegedly came from the team’s sergeant, Wayne Jenkins, the Washington Post reports.

Though Ward didn’t say whether or not the tactic was ever used, Detective Marcus Taylor—another cop swept up in the scandal—was carrying a fake gun almost identical to his service weapon when he was arrested last year, according to the Sun.

The revelation is just one of many egregious abuses that have come out of the sprawling trial that the Sun has called “Baltimore’s biggest police corruption scandal in memory.” Prosecutors say the squad, which was tasked with getting illegal guns off the streets, abused its power by robbing suspects and innocent people, raiding homes without warrants, and selling confiscated drugs, among other crimes.

This is America.

Donald Trump Bragged About Having the Tallest Building in Manhattan Hours After the Twin Towers Collapsed on 9/11

Not much has changed about Donald Trump over the years.

17 years ago, on September 11th, 2001—infamously known as “9/11″—Donald Trump bragged that he owned the tallest building in downtown Manhattan just hours after the Twin Towers collapsed. And it wasn’t even true.

Over the years, Trump has made a number of false and tone-deaf remarks regarding the worst terror attack on U.S. soil, but we don’t think anything can top what he said the day of the attack itself.

In the hours following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the real estate mogul called into a New York radio station and made a very distasteful comment about how his 40 Wall Street building was Manhattan’s tallest skyscraper now that the World Trade Centers had been reduced to ash and rubble.

“40 Wall Street actually was the second-tallest building in downtown Manhattan, and it was actually, before the World Trade Center, was the tallest—and then, when they built the World Trade Center, it became known as the second-tallest,” he said. “And now it’s the tallest.”

Not only was that a ridiculous thing to say on the day thousands of Americans lost their lives, but it was also ridiculously false. According to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, the 70 Pine Street building is about 25 feet higher than 40 Wall Street, with the former being 952 feet tall, and the latter being 927 feet tall.

Trump also claimed $150,000 from the government’s 9/11 fund, money that was originally set aside to help small businesses cover “rent loss” and “repairs,” claiming that Trump Tower was damaged. Guess what: it wasn’t.

More than a decade later, Trump (who by then was a reality TV star and host of The Apprentice) tweeted a bizarre message out to the “haters and losers” on the anniversary of the attack.

“I would like to extend my best wishes to all, even the losers and haters, on this special date,” he wrote in 2013.

Two years later, in November 2015, during his presidential election campaign, Trump notoriously claimed he had seen thousands of Muslims cheering in New Jersey as the Twin Towers collapsed.

“I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down, and I watched in Jersey City, New Jersey where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down,” he said at a rally in Birmingham, Alabama.

Trump later claimed the cheers came from areas with “large Arab populations,” however, many residents of New Jersey and police representatives have refuted the ridiculous claim.

He also claimed to have lost “hundreds” of friends in the 9/11 attacks, which would mean that he knew around one in ten of the nearly 3,000 people who died. Meanwhile, he’s never named a single person he lost in the tragedy.

Trump has also insisted that he would have handled terrorism better than his predecessors George Bush and Bill Clinton, saying both of them failed to prevent the attack.

He also said 9/11 never would have happened under his immigration policy, despite the fact that 15 of the 19 terrorists involved in the attacks were actually citizens of Saudi Arabia—a country that was not a part of his travel ban.

“Those people that knocked down the World Trade Centre most likely under the Trump policy wouldn’t have been here to knock down the World Trade Centre, just so you understand,” he said during an August 2016 campaign rally in Florida.

And we can’t forget about April 2017 when in an interview with the Associated Press about his first 100 days in the White House, he boasted that his TV ratings at the time were higher than those for 9/11 news coverage.

“It’s the highest [ratings] for ‘Deface the Nation’ since the World Trade Center,” he said of the CBS show that is actually called Face the Nation. “Since the World Trade Center came down. It’s a tremendous advantage.”

Yesterday, on the 17th anniversary of 9/11, Trump was called out on Twitter for his extremely minimal tweet recognizing the tragedy.

He simply wrote: “17 years since September 11th” to commemorate a day in which thousands of American lives were lost.

And Twitter users were quick to let him know how much of a trash tweet it was.

Someone even pointed out how he looked as he arrived at a ceremony in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, the site of the United 93 crash:

https://twitter.com/Dommy00785548/status/1039530288026726400

For comparison’s sake, this is what a tweet from the POTUS about 9/11 should look like:

FAKE NEWS ALERT: No, a Man Did NOT Accidentally Burn His House Down After Setting Nike Shoes on Fire

A story about a man who accidentally burned his house down after setting his Nike shoes on fire in protest over the company’s ties with Colin Kaepernick is 100% fake news, according to Snopes.

Following Nike’s announcement on Labor Day 2018 (Mon, Sep. 3) that controversial free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick would be part of the company’s ‘Just Do It’ 30th-anniversary ad campaign, the hashtag #NikeBoycott quickly became a trending topic.

Disgruntled consumers then took to social media to show that they would no longer be supporting the brand by destroying their Nike apparel, mostly by fire

So this created a perfect storm for someone to come up with some fake news. One person created a viral Facebook post that made it look like he suffered severe foot burns by setting his Nike shoes on fire while he was wearing them.

Then the faux news website Huzlers joined in on the “let’s make sh** up” fun by posting an article saying that a Florida man had accidentally burned his house by down while trying to burn a pair of Nike sneakers over the company’s public support of Colin Kaepernick. The article even had a picture of a white man with a tattoo on his forehead that reads “racist” to make the story seem more plausible.

A Florida man has been arrested after he reportedly accidentally burned his home down by attempting to burn a pair of Nike sneakers in protest of their latest Colom Kaepernick Ad.

According to authorities, Jason Helms, 26, placed a pair of Nike sneakers in his garage and soaked them in Kerosene before lighting them on fire. The fire ended up spreading to the the garage walls and ceiling before spreading to his actual home. All in protest against Nike, who recently made an Ad featuring controversial NFL star Colin Kaepernick and reading: “Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything… Just do it”. “Don’t burn your Nike gear” says police officer Don Greestien, “just send them over to me”.

Jason Helms also has a history of race related crimes in the past and is now being charged with Arson and reckless endangerment and can face up to a few years in prison.

That same article was also published on other fake news sites imitating the appearance and domains of real news organizations such as the Fox News Channel and USA Today, and with the location changed from Florida to Rochester, NY and Bartlesville, OK.

The bogus story went viral on Facebook and has been shared thousands of times. Facebook users were quick to joke about swift “karma” or the alleged victim’s intelligence, but there’s one problem: THIS NEVER HAPPENED.

Kevin Garnett Sues Former Accountant for Allegedly Stealing $77 Million From Him

What would you do if you found out $77 million of your hard-earned cash was missing? In Kevin Garnett’s case, he’s pointing the finger at his former accountant.

Garnett has reportedly filed a malpractice lawsuit against his former account Michael Wertheim, along with his firm, Welenken CPAs, on allegations that they knowingly helped wealth manager Charles A. Banks IV steal roughly $77 million from him.

The lawsuit states that Wertheim “possessed actual knowledge that Banks was helping himself to millions of dollars of Garnett’s money and did nothing about it.”

The suit continues: “Banks intentionally … looted Garnett of his earnings and assets for many years, including the many years that Welenken and Wertheim provided accounting services to Garnett and his business interests.”

The suit also says that Wertheim “took direction from Banks and for some reason chose to have virtually no contact with Garnett.”

Oddly enough, even though banks was the one who ran off with the money, he wasn’t named as a defendant in the suit.

Garnett’s attorney, Mark Gaughan, declined to say why Banks wasn’t named in the suit, however, Banks is being sued by Hammer Holdings, a company that “counted Banks and Garnett as partners and that Banks allegedly used to steal from Garnett,” according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

The lawsuit alleged that Wertheim also “worked in concert” with Banks to put Garnett on a strict allowance and set budgets that he was urged to follow.

According to the suit, when Garnett asked to withdraw $40,000 of his own money in 2013, Banks denied his request via e-mail implying that the 15-time NBA all-star couldn’t afford to.

“Kevin, I have all the info from the accountant and suggested (and required cuts),” Banks wrote, according to correspondence from Banks to Garnett that is part of the suit. “This e-mail is just meant to convey the cold, hard facts, no opinion or judgement [sic]. It’s pretty ugly and going to be very difficult, but you can do it and it will change your life forever (financially).”

The lawsuit states that Banks took around $2 million for himself around that time. The e-mail implying that Garnett’s finances were in dire straits came three years before he retired in 2016.

According to Business Insider, Garnet earned $326 million over his career, making him the highest-paid player in NBA history at the time.

Michael Wertheim and Welenken CPAs deny the accusations of theft, and their defense attorney Greg Simpson said they “intend to vigorously defend themselves against the allegations, deny any wrongdoing and believe the suit lacks merit. They will be moving to dismiss it at an early stage.”

Garnett’s attorney said that “based upon the facts, we are confident this matter ultimately will be resolved in Mr. Garnett’s favor.”

WATCH: Viral Video Shows Cheerleader Giving “Bully” a Well-Deserved Beat Down

Video footage showing the moment a high school cheerleader beat down a “bully” who challenged her to a fight and then sucker-punched her has gone viral on the internet.

The video of the cheerleader, later identified as Savannah Sprague, and an unidentified girl was posted on Twitter Saturday (Sep. 8) by the cheerleader’s sister, Sierra Sprague.

“So my little sister got in a fight tonight and I don’t think I’ve ever been more proud,” Sierra Sprague tweeted. “With her phone in her hand & everything lmao THATS MY MF SISTER LETS GOOOOOOO.”

The clip on Twitter has more than 8 million views, over 100K retweets and close to 400K likes. It was also reposted on WorldStarHipHop where it has nearly 2 million views.

In the footage, the girl can be heard asking Savannah, who was wearing her cheerleading uniform and sitting at a table with other members of her cheerleading squad, if she wanted to fight, to which Savannah responds: “Nobody wants to fight. You guys want to fight us. Nobody speaks on you guys. Nobody talks about you guys.” The girl then walks up oto Savannah and stands over her and Savannah can be heard telling the other girl to get her finger out of her face.

“What are you going to do? Are you going to make me get back?” the unidentified girl says before shoving Savannah, who shouts “Don’t f***ing touch me!” Seconds later, the unidentified girl hits Savannah in the face, and, from there, it’s on like Donkey Kong.

At one point, Sprague gets the best of her unidentified opponent and can be seen on top of her pummeling her with repeated blows to her back and face while other students cheer them on.

One student off-camera could be heard shouting “You got your a** beat!” as the two part ways after brawling. It’s not clear who they were referring to, considering another version of the video shows Sprague’s opponent landing a number of punches as well.

Here’s the full video:

The other girl posted the “unedited” version of the fight on her Twitter account (which she has since deleted) and retweeted several people supporting her. “Looking at this video it was a tie now. If it wasn’t ole girls sister wouldn’t have went out her way not to post the whole thing,” one person tweeted.

“That cheerleader did not beat her ass. If anything it was a fair fight. I’m only commenting cuz I’m sick of seeing the video and her bragging she whooped ass like sis didn’t get wit her towards the end,” tweeted another.

A third person said, “Didn’t take no L are we watching the same fight nobody won they both had great moments stand up skinny girl was winning but she should’ve stay up cuz she got f*cked up on the ground so TIE fight again.”

Others, however, said the video still showed the cheerleader winning.

“She like triple her size and fighting someone who didn’t wanna fight so yeah the big girl still took a L,” wrote one person.

“The girl in the yellow still lost,” said another. “Damn that skinny white girl rocked u,” another person tweeted.

“You still got beat by a girl that didn’t wanna fight take your L sis,” wrote another Twitterer.

Another tweeted: “Bruh I’m still pumped for the white girl. Unedited or not girl in the yellow thought she had an easy ass fight… picking on someone half her size AND SITTING DOWN?!?”

Savannah’s sister, Sierra Sprague, a 19-year-old YouTuber, wrote to the other girl: “wouldn’t be bragging with that [sleep emoji] you got rocked by someone who’s 150 pounds less than you with ONE HAND after you sucker punched them … no hair pulling like you did, straight hands. accept the L.”

Sierra added: “Let somebody else lay a hand on her and you gonna get rocked by me too.”

The incident occurred at Clayton Valley Charter High School in Concord, California, where Sprague is a student and a cheerleader for the Ugly Eagles, according to the New York Post.

Neither school officials nor the cheerleading team’s coach have commented on the fight, but according to a tweet from Sierra, Savannah is still on the team “and in no trouble.”

Taraji P. Henson Reportedly Pregnant With Second Child at 47

The word on the curb is that Taraji P. Henson is pregnant at the age of 47!

According to internet reports, the “Empire” actress attended the U.S. Open this weekend with her former NFL star fiancé Kelvin Hayden, and people close to them were saying that Taraji was “acting pregnant.”

And how on earth do you “act pregnant,” you ask? Well, apparently, all you have to do is stop drinking, and BOOM, folks will say, “Yep, she’s deflee preggo!”

Now, full disclosure, this news comes from Media Take Out, so it’s to be taken with a huge grain of salt, but they claim to have “credible” insiders who say that Henson is 100% with child.

One insider told the outlet, “Taraji did not drink, and [Kelvin] was walking her around arm-in-arm. They were acting like she was pregnant.”

Another insider who saw Taraji inside a luxury suite at the event told MTO, “She had a clear belly bump, and ate everything within arms reach. But no alcohol. Yeah, she’s pregnant.”

Taraji and the former Indianapolis Colts cornerback were excited to attend the tennis event, and she even took to Instagram to mark the special occasion. “Just us just living our lives putting [a check] on our bucket list,” she wrote in the caption.

https://instagram.com/p/BnizE_EBbQw/?utm_source=ig_embed

In the photo, Taraji was rocking a black bomber jacket and matching black pants, which fueled the pregnancy rumors, since black is a slimming color and a bomber jacket will definitely hide a growing baby bump.

Whether or not the pregnancy rumors are true remains to be seen, but, as most of her fans know, Taraji is already the mother of an adult son, 23-year-old Marcel Johnson.

Taraji and Kelvin confirmed they were dating back in December of last year, and they announced their engagement in May of this year, around Mother’s Day.

Taraji has spoken about having more kids in the past. She once told Essence that she was “open” to the idea if she were to ever come across the right man.

Taraji was ecstatic over the proposal and she took to social media at the time to post: “I said yes ya’ll!!! He started with the Cartier love bracelet BUT that was my #MothersDay gift and then he dropped to his knee and I almost passed out!!! #sheisofficiallyoffthemarket and she is sooooooooooooo HAPPY!!!!!! #GODIS”

Asked whether whether we would be hearing wedding bells in the future, Taraji told Entertainment Tonight back in May: “People are hitting me up. It’s starting to get overwhelming, and we’re thinking, we’re talking a year from now, and I know how fast that’s going to go, so it’s a lot. I’m trying to just enjoy being blissfully engaged for a minute.”

John Legend is the First Black Man to Achieve EGOT Status After Emmy Win

Congratulations are certainly in order for John Legend, who made history over the weekend after achieving EGOT status thanks to a recent Emmy win.

Sunday night (Sep. 9), Legend took home a Creative Arts Emmy for Outstanding Variety Special (Live) for his producer role in the televised musical “Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert,” giving him the highly coveted EGOT status.

Achieving “EGOT” status is no easy feat, as the acronym stands for Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony—and not many people have that. In fact, John Legend is the first African American male AND the youngest person to achieve the legendary status.

Legend joins only 14 others who have received the quadruple crown—a distinguished list that includes Whoopi Goldberg, Audrey Hepburn, Mel Brooks and composer Richard Rodgers (the first to have received all four).

In addition to his new Emmy AWard, Legend has 10 Grammys earned between 2006 and 2016, one Oscar (Academy Award) from 2015 for Best Original Song (“Glory” from Selma), one Tony Award from 2017 for Best Revival of a Play for the stageplay Jitney.

Legend’s wife, Chrissy Teigen, showered her husband with praise on social media. She posted an Instagram video legend, still wearing his tux, pulling out a piano bench to reach the top shelf of his awards collection and placing his Emmy in the center as he stands back and grins. “Perfect,” she says in the background. Her caption on the post read: “And I say hey, what a wonderful kind of day.”

She also posted a video on Twitter of Legend in a robe making “EGOT pancakes.”

“We inspire each other,” Legend told reporters of his marriage to Teigen after accepting his Emmy Sunday night. “She inspires my songs, she inspires me to want to be a better husband and a better father. We support each other fully in everything that we do. I root for her in her career and everything she’s doing. And I expect that she’ll be up here winning Emmys herself for all the awesome work that she does.”

No, Faith Evans & Mary J. Blige Did NOT Fight at a Party Hosted by Diddy in the Hamptons

Mary J. Blige and Faith Evans became trending topics on Twitter over the weekend after a rumor spread that they had gotten into a fight at a New York Fashion party hosted by Diddy in the Hamptons.

Well, as it turns out, the whole thing was just fake news. Mary J. Blige and Faith Evans DID NOT get into a fight at a NYFW party hosted by Diddy in the Hamptons.

As a matter of fact, Diddy didn’t even have a party in the Hamptons. And on top of that, Mary J. Blige was thousands of miles away in Louisiana that night … and Faith Evans was even further away in Newport Beach, California.

“The story is completely fabricated,” the Executive Vice President of Communications for Combs Entertainment told Heavy.

“This is totally false,” a rep. for Faith Evans assured Hollywood Life. “I have no idea how this rumor started. Puffy didn’t even have a party.” The “Soon As I Get Home” artist reportedly was in Newport Beach, California, not Long Island, New York, at the time of the alleged incident.

Mary J. Blige shut the rumor down herself while doing press at a Dennis Basso show for NYFW Monday (Sep. 10). “Of course that was made up. I was shooting a movie in Louisiana … I just got here today,” she told Page Six.

Rumors of a fight between the R&B legends were fueled by accounts of a fight that really went down between rap stars Nicki Minaj and Cardi B Friday night (Sep. 7).

Video footage from the highly publicized brawl shoes Cardi trying to go after Nicki Minaj, but after being stopped by the latter’s bodyguards, the former took her high-heeled shoe off and threw it at her.

Cardi—who left the party with a huge knot on her forehead, either from getting hit by Rah Ali (someone in Nicki’s entourage) or one of Nicki’s bodyguards—then took to Instagram to explain that Minaj had insinuated she wasn’t a good mother to her child, Kulture.

As news of that fight spread, someone made up a rumor that Mary J. Blige and Faith Evans had also gotten into a brawl, and it quickly spread like a wildfire on an already busy weekend for news and crazy headlines: Mac Miller died, George Zimmerman threatened Beyoncé and JAY-Z, Machine Gun Kelly dropped an Eminem diss track, Post Malone got into a car accident, a white female cop walked into a black man’s home and shot him to death, and more.

The person who started the rumor about the Mary J. Blige and Faith Evans fight eventually came forward and apologized, saying that they were simply making a joke to “illustrate how stupid the [Cardi B]/Nicki Minaj beef was” and they “didn’t [think] people would believe it.”

Meet the Family of Naomi Osaka, the Pro Tennis Player Who Beat Serena Williams in the U.S. Open

Naomi Osaka, born October 16th, 1997, is an American-Japanese professional tennis player who defeated Serena Williams in the final of the U.S. Open on Saturday (Sep. 8).

Her older sister, Mari Osaka, is also a professional tennis player, and together, the two sisters represent the three cultures they were raised with: American, Japanese and Haitian.

Here’s what you need to know about Naomi Osaka and her family:

1Naomi Osaka’s father, Leonard François, is Haitian and her mother, Tamaki Osaka, is Japanese.

https://instagram.com/p/Bea9a5BFWKk/?utm_source=ig_embed

Naomi Osaka was born in Ch??-ku, Osaka, Japan, to a Japanese mother, Tamaki Osaka, and a Haitian father, Leonard “San” François.

In Nemuro—a city and port located in Hokkaido, Japan—where Naomi’s mother, Tamaki grew up, Tamaki wasn’t used to seeing people who didn’t like her. But that all changed after she started attending high school in Sapporo, Hokkaido’s capital, where she met “a handsome college student from New York,” the New York Times explains. That handsome college student, who attended NYU, was Leonard Maxime François, who was Haitian by birth and “one of only a handful of black men in all of Hokkaido,” according to the Times.

The culture divide between Osaka’s parents led to a number of difficulties in the beginning of their relationship. For instance, Tamaki told the NY New York Times that her father was furious when he found that she was dating a black man and chastised her for bringing disgrace on the family.

The couple then moved to Osaka, where both Tamaki, and Francois, whose Japanese was improving, found work and got married.

As a result of her interracial relationship, Tamaki did not have any contact with her family for over a decade.

2Naomi’s sister, Mari Osaka, is also a professional tennis player.

https://instagram.com/p/BZQWpPZlo_2/?utm_source=ig_embed

Much like her U.S. Open opponent Serena Williams, Naomi Osaka’s sister, Mari, is also a professional tennis player.

In fact, Naomi and Mari Osaka have been compared to the Williams sisters on multiple occasions. W Magazine ran a feature in their July 2018 issue titled, “Mari and Naomi Osaka Could Be the Next Venus and Serena Williams.”

W Magazine‘s Brooke Marine wrote:

“Though Naomi has just been shockingly knocked out of the 16th round of Wimbledon, at just 20 years old, the tennis star has been a professional for nearly five years… Now, the Osaka sisters follow in the footsteps of Venus and Serena Williams, as two young sisters who are making waves in the field of professional tennis, and crushing their competition both on the court and on social media.”

https://www.instagram.com/p/BhHa_EWlB0v/

Mari, who is Naomi’s older sister by just 18 months, is currently ranked #344 in the women’s singles rankings.

3Naomi and Mari Osaka both took their mother’s last name, instead of their father’s.

https://instagram.com/p/BeyO7edlsoK/?utm_source=ig_embed

In Japan, a country that is racially homogenous, the Osaka sisters are considered h?fu, which is Japanese for biracial.

Instead of taking their father’s last name, the girls used their mother’s last name “Otaku,” a Japanese surname that that is coincidentally the same name as their birth city, because it made their lives easier for things like enrolling in schools and renting apartments.

The Osaka family moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 2006 when Naomi was three years old so that they could focus on tennis full time.

Mari Osaka can speak Japanese fluently, while Naomi can only speak it partially.

4Leonard François trained his daughters and was inspired by Richard Williams, father of Venus & Serena Williams.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BnhGwAqlAeC/

Another way the Osaka sisters can be compared to the Williams sisters is the manner in which they received their tennis training.

While watching a broadcast of the French Open in 1999, when the girls were just toddlers, Leonard François became inspired by Richard Williams, the father of Venus and Serena Williams. The Williams sister teamed up to win the doubles title that year, and at that moment, François hatched a plan to turn his daughters into champions.

François had played a little tennis in his earlier years, but Williams, who coached his daughters, had played none at all, so François felt like if Williams could do it, he definitely could. “The blueprint was already there,” François said.

And it looks like François’ strategy has paid off big time, considering Naomi beat Serena Williams in the 2018 U.S. Open. Serena also previously described Naomi as a “really good, talented player. Very dangerous.”

5Naomi Osaka represents the country of Japan on the court.

Even though she has lived in the United States for most of her life, since the age of three, to be exact, Naomi Osaka plays tennis for Japan. Her father made that decision long ago due to the competition amongst American tennis player,s plus she could command more money as a Japanese player. The NY Times’ Brook Larmer writes:

“Osaka has been embraced by Japanese media, companies and fans hungering for a female tennis star. Nissin, one of the world’s largest instant-noodle companies, has already signed her to a lucrative deal, as has Wowow, the tennis channel that broadcasts her matches in Japan. The Osaka camp plans to announce a large new endorsement deal before the U.S. Open, and other Japanese multinationals are circling. Osaka’s biggest payday may come at the end of the year, when her Adidas shoe-and-apparel contract expires — just in time for the prelude to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

“If Osaka played under the American flag, it’s very unlikely that these opportunities would exist. Japanese companies would have no reason to court her and U.S. brands would have other higher-ranked young guns to consider, like Madison Keys and Sloane Stephens. But as Japan’s top-ranked player, Osaka has the full attention of the country’s top brands, whose sponsorship fees can run far higher than those of their Western counterparts.”

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bnhg3m6Fb70/?taken-by=naomiosakatennis

Asked what it felt like growing up in a multi-cultural heritage household, Osaka said, “I don’t necessarily feel like I’m American. I wouldn’t know what that feels like.”

About her Japanse culture, Osaka told the Washington Post, “Japanese culture? I love everything about it. . . . America, I live here. I train in Florida. . . . And Haiti, if you’ve ever met a Haitian person, they are really positive, and literally if you’re friends with them, then they will do anything for you. That’s something that is a really good trait, and I’m really happy that my grandparents and my dad’s side of the family is like that.”

On playing Serena Williams, Naomi Osaka has previously said that “loves” Serena, and hopes to emulate the famous tennis pro. She said, via USA Today, “I was really impressed by her and wanted to play like her when I was little. Well, I hope I’m starting to play like her now.”

Cartoonist Slammed for “Racist” & “Sexist” Drawing of Serena Williams at the U.S. Open

Cartoonist Mark Knight is catching a lot of heat for his cartoon rendering of Serena Williams, which was published in Monday’s (Sep. 10) edition of Australian tabloid The Herald Sun.

The drawing comes after an intense final at the U.S. Open in which the 36-year-old clashed with umpire Carlos Ramos, who accused her of breaking the rules by receiving instruction from her coach in the stand.

https://twitter.com/Knightcartoons/status/1039017329030393856

Knight’s cartoon shows an extremely exaggerated caricature of Williams, with enlarged lips and a much larger figure, stomping on her tennis racket with a pacifier near her feet, suggesting that her conduct at Sunday’s U.S. match was childish.

The image of the 23-time Grand Slam winner has been labeled “racist” and “sexist,” and has drawn anger from all sides of the internet, even compelling Nicki Minaj to give Knight the “C**ksucka Of The Day” award on her “Queen Radio” show.

The drawing also showed Ramos saying “Can you just let her win?” to Williams’ opponent Naomi Osaka, who Knight falsely depicted as a small white woman with straight blonde hair. FYI: Naomi Osaka is NOT a small white woman with straight blonde hair. She is of Haitian and Japanese heritage, which has been pointed out by many users on social media who are nowhere near here for this cartoon.

Nicki Minaj wasn’t the only celebrity to weigh in on the cartoon and call Mark Knight out for creating such a demeaning image to represent a black woman. Author J.K. Rowling also slammed Knight for his picture, calling out its racism and sexism, while ESPN commentator Jemele Hill said the drawing was “about as subtle as Fran Drescher’s voice.”

In an attempt to defend himself against accusations that he doesn’t hold male tennis players accountable for their outbursts during matches, Knight tweeted out another recent cartoon he’d drawn of male Australian player Nick Kyrgios.

“Here’s a cartoon I drew a few days before when Australian male tennis player Kyrgios at the US Open was behaving badly,” Knight tweeted, along with the cartoon. “Don’t bring gender into it when it’s all about behavior. I’ll accept your apology in writing.”

https://twitter.com/Knightcartoons/status/1039056385462349825

Some people pointed out that this isn’t the first time Mark Knight’s work has been deemed “racist.”

The argument over Williams’ passionate response to Ramos during the U.S. Open has centered on the question of whether Williams was treated differently because she’s a black woman.

After Knight posted his controversial image, one Twitter user revealed several instances in which Ramos seemed to essentially give white tennis players (male and female) a slap on the wrist for the same exact behavior.

Following Williams’ controversial loss, she was fined $17,000 from her $1.85 million prize: $4,000 for the coaching warning, $3,000 for breaking her racket and $10,000 for the “verbal abuse” she directed at Ramos, the United States Tennis Association said.

WATCH: Drake Brings Out Meek Mill to Squash 3-Year Long Beef at Boston Concert

Drake and Meek Mill have been beefing since 2015, with Meek Mill unfortunately on the “wrong” side of the beef. But after appearing onstage together at Drake’s concert in Boston Saturday night (Sep. 9), it looks like the longstanding beef between the two rappers has officially been squashed.

Three years after Drake and Meek Mill launched high-profile diss tracks at one another, the two rappers officially put their feud to rest during the Boston, MA stop of Drake’s “Aubrey and the Three Migos” Tour featuring Migos.

“I wanna say something right now. This right here is a long time coming. This right here is important. This one of my favorite rappers, for real for real,” Drake told the crowd at Boston’s TD Garden after Meek rapped his famous hype hit ‘Dreams & Nightmares.’ “This is my brother, and that’s how it started, and that’s how we’re gonna finish this sh**, for real. Y’all make some noise for Meek Milly from Philly in the f***ing building!”

Drake and Meek’s beef goes back to 2015 when Meek accused Drake of using lyrics from a ghostwriter on a song from his album Dreams Worth More Than Money because Meek was mad that Drake didn’t promote the album.

The feud between the two rappers was definitely among the biggest hip-hop stories of 2015, and inspired Drake’s hit single “Back to Back,” which followed his first not so great diss track “Charged Up.” No one really remembers Meek’s diss tracks.

The beef continued into the end of January 2016 when Drake dropped “Summer Sixteen,” another track going after Meek. The Philly rapper responded with an easily forgotten verse on Fat Joe and Remy Ma’s “All the Way Up” remix.

In 2017, Meek got sentenced to prison for a probation violation and was released in April 2018. In an interview with the Breakfast Club the following May, Meek said that he and Drake had both “moved past” their beef and he appreciated his former foe for backing a campaign for his release from jail.

“He put good energy in the air,” Meek said of Drake’s support at the time. “What happened happened. We moved past that. I think we’ll have a conversation next time we see each other, and get it going.”

Now it looks like all is definitely well between Drake and Meek Mill. The two were seen in multiple photos and videos posted on social media embracing each other.

Drake celebrated his reunion with his old friend on Instagram, writing:

This really gave me peace of mind tonight. Healing and moving forward created one of the most electric and gratifying moments of my career. @meekmill I’m happy that you are home and that we could find our way back to our joint purpose. Cue the Kevin Garnett “anything is possible” adlib).

“Power” Season 5 Finale: Angela Gets Shot! Is She Really Dead?!

SPOILER ALERT: This post contains major spoilers about the “Power” Season 5 finale. Do not read if you have not watched “Power” Season 5 Episode 10: “When This Is Over.”

***

Well, that was a hell of an episode, wasn’t it?! After watching Power on Sunday (Sep. 9), I vowed to never watch that show again until Season 6 premieres next summer.

Power is known for its cliffhangers. In the first season, Holly took a bullet meant for Ghost, leaving viewers to wonder whether or not she would survive to see a second season on the show.

In Season 2, Kanan Incredible Hulked his way out of a botched killing at the hands of Ghost. The Season 3 finale had us all kinds of f***ed up when we saw Tariq passed out on that lean, and Kanan was supposedly holding him for ransom. Plus, Angela arrested Ghost for the murder of Greg Knox. Season 4’s finale made Season 3’s look like an episode of Sesame Street, because Raina got shot and killed over her brother’s bullsh**.

And now that we’ve made it to Season 5, things are really heating up. At the end of last night’s Season 5 finale episode, once again, a bullet meant for Ghost ended up hitting someone else, and this time it was AUSA Angela Valdes—who got hit right in the chest. And guess who pulled the trigger? Ya boy Tommy Egan. Like, WTF Tommy?!

After getting caught by the feds at the end of last week’s episode, Angela put herself on a 24-hour clock to make a decision as to whether she would snitch on Ghost and Tommy (and Tasha too) or fight the law to prove her (not) innocence.

In this 24-hour timespan, Angela rallied Ghost, Tasha and Tommy to make sure everyone was on the same page and to close up any gaps the AUSA office could use to take them down.

Meanwhile, Mak & Co. spent that same 24 hours trying to get Tasha, Tommy, LaKeisha, Proctor, Angela, Dre, etc. to flip on all or some of Ghost’s organization to save themselves.

When it looked like the case wouldn’t move forward, Saxe, frustrated as hell, went to Tommy and told him that Ghost tricked him into killing his own father, Tony Teresi. Saxe gave Tommy a copy of the tape in which Teresi implicated Ghost in Mike Sandoval’s murder, but made sure to say Tommy played no part in the crime, saying that Tommy keeps him at “arm’s length” when it comes to all of his dealings.

Tommy, filled with rage about Ghost supposedly double-crossing him, Tommy tracked Ghost down and found out he was meeting with Angela at their old high school (where they had met earlier as a group, including him and Tasha). During their secret meeting, Angela asked Ghost point-blank if he had killed Terry Silver, who had returned to try to get Tasha to snitch on everybody, but had disappeared near the end of the episode after we saw Ghost watching him and Tasha have sex from a distance.

After an awkward pause, Ghost swore he had nothing to do with Silver’s “disappearance” as we watched a flashback of him choking the lawyer to death. As he and Angela kissed, he told her he loved her, and when Angela looked up, she saw Tommy pointing a gun at her from above. Angela pushes Ghost out of the way, and then BAM! She gets shot. When Ghost looked up and saw Tommy, wearing a look of satisfaction, Ghost did his famous Harambe scream. As the screen fades black, all you can hear is “Angie! Angie! Angie!” as the AUSA struggles to breathe.

Wayment. Is Angela really dead?! Because if so, her and Ghost are officially done. In order for them to work out, she has to at least be alive.

We’ll have to wait for the Season 6 premiere, which will be around summer 2019, to find out what happens, but if you’re wondering whether or not Angela has already gone up to that great big courtroom in the sky, showrunner Courtney Kemp has the answer for you. And it’s no: Angela isn’t really dead… YET?

“I can say [Lela Loren, who plays Angela] is in Season 6, but I can’t say what she’s doing,” Kemp told TV Line. So it sounds like Angela is still with us… for now, at least.

TV Line also asked Courtney whether or not we are reaching the end of Power‘s story. She has has said in the past that Power isn’t a 10-season show, and we’re already halfway there, with Season 6 set to go into production in the fall.

“I’m not allowed to answer that, per Starz,” Kemp said in response to a question about Season 6 possibly marking the end of Power. “But what I can say is that the story is coming to an end.”

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, who executive produces the show along with Kemp, has said that he doesn’t think Power will go past Season 7. “I was telling [executives] in the very beginning, when they talked about how long do you think the series is going to last, I said seven,” he told ABC news. “It’s going to go seven.”

50 Cent’s character Kanan died in last week’s episode, but Courtney says Fiddy still be a major part of the show behind the scenes.

“[Jackson] will he have other things to do [on the series]. For sure, that’s the whole point,” she told Deadline. “He’s expanding into producing much more and really giving notes and reading scripts.”

Fifty added that no one is safe on Power, much like The Sopranos.

“We’ve created a template for the show that is non-Hollywood,” the actor told Deadline,” he said. “Anyone can go. There’s no one in the show that can’t die.”

Former CBS Boss Les Moonves Was Obsessed With Destroying Janet Jackson’s Career After Super Bowl Wardrobe Malfunction (Report)

It’s no secret that Janet Jackson’s career took a downward spiraled in the immediate fallout from the Super Bowl 2014 “Nipplegate” scandal when Justin Timberlake exposed her naked breast on live TV in what they called a “wardrobe malfunction.”

But, according to a new report from the Huffington Post, Leslie “Les” Moonves, the now former chief executive of CBS Corporation, played a particularly vengeful role in the aftermath.

Citing “multiple sources,” freelance journalist Yasher Ali, a prominent voice of the #MeeToo movement, said that Moonves—who resigned Sunday after a new wave of sexual assault allegations were brought against him via a New Yorker article—allegedly became obsessed with ruining Janet Jackson’s career after the incident.

“From actors to entertainment lawyers, people who ended up on the wrong side of Moonves would often become his target for years after they upset him,” Ali wrote. “One target of Moonves’ ire and vengefulness was Janet Jackson.”

Ali said that Jackson “became a years-long fixation for Moonves after the so-called ‘wardrobe malfunction’ of 2004, where her breast was exposed for nine-sixteenths of a second after Justin Timberlake tore a piece of fabric off her bustier during their Super Bowl halftime performance.”

CBS and MTV—which, at the time, was owned by Viacom, the then parent company of CBS—faced huge criticism and a hefty $500,000 fine from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Both singers insisted the incident was accidental, with Timberlake saying he only meant to rip away a small portion of fabric to expose red lace, but instead ripped away everything, exposing Janet’s breast to more than 100 million Super Bowl fans.

“Moonves, however, was convinced it wasn’t a malfunction, but rather an intentional bid to stir up controversy,” Ali wrote, adding that the incident caused Moonves “embarrassment,” and he did not think Jackson was “sufficiently repentant.”

According to Ali, as a result of the incident, both Janet and Justin were banned from the 2004 Grammys, which aired on CBS just a few days after the Super Bowl, but Moonves allowed Justin to perform “after he tearfully apologized for the incident.” Jackson, however, irked Moonves when she didn’t issue a similar apology, according to Ali.

Ali’s report claims that Moonves “ordered Viacom properties VH1 and MTV, and all Viacom-owned radio stations, to stop playing Jackson’s songs and music videos,” which, unsurprisingly, had a negative impact on sales of her 8th studio album Damita Jo, which was released in March 2004, just a month after the Super Bowl.

Ali wrote: “A major point of controversy, particularly among Jackson’s black fans, was that the reaction to the wardrobe malfunction fell solely on Jackson’s shoulders, even though Timberlake was the one who actually pulled off the fabric to reveal her breast. While Jackson’s career was significantly damaged, Timberlake’s flourished. CBS insiders who spoke to me felt strongly that Moonves played a large part in how Jackson was perceived by the public.”

Even after seven years had passed, Moonves still hated Janet Jackson, Ali’s report claims. He reportedly became enraged found out that Jackson had signed a book deal with Simon & Schuster, which is owned by the CBS Corporation. “How the f*** did she slip through?” Moonves is said to have asked. Ali also wrote that Moonves told another source that “heads were going to roll as a result of the deal.”

Ali continued: “It’s not clear whether Moonves ever actually took action against anyone who gave Jackson the book deal, but his tone when he spoke about Jackson was so aggressive, one source said they couldn’t speak to me on the record because ‘I’m not interested in having that man following me to the grave and trying to screw me over the whole time.'”

Les Moonves was the subject of an expose by Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Ronan Farrow back in July in which six women accused the CBS boss of sexual harassment. Additionally, more than two dozen CBS Corporation employees, past and present, described episodes involving harassment, gender discrimination or retaliation at the network between the 1980s and the 2000s.

Some of the women claimed that Moonves forced them to perform oral sex on him, that he exposed himself to them without their consent, and that he used physical violence and intimidation against them.

Farrow’s report included accusations from actress Illeana Douglas, who said Moonves lured her to a hotel to talk business, and while there, he made sexual advances towards her and forcibly kissed her.

Dinah Kirgo, a screenwriter, shared a story similar to Douglas’s. She said Moonves pretended to be interested in a business meeting with her, only to pursue a dinner with her alone. Kirgo said she believed that rebuffing Moonves’s sexual advances damaged her career.

Les Moonves announced his resignation as CEO of CBS Corporation on Sunday (Sep. 9) shortly after a more recent New Yorker article about his sexual misconduct allegations was published.

Moonves acknowledged that he had relations with three of the women accusing him of sexual assault, but he said those interactions were consensual and the allegations against him are “untrue.” He also said that he has never used his position to hurt the careers of women.

Without addressing the allegations directly, CBS Corporation said that Moonves will donate at least $20 million to one or more organizations that support the #MeToo movement and equality for women in the workplace.

“The donation, which will be made immediately, has been deducted from any severance benefits that may be due to Moonves,” the statement said.

George Zimmerman Allegedly Called Beyoncé a “Broke Whore” & Threatened to Kill Her & Jay-Z

The BeyHive is up in arms over reports that George Zimmerman allegedly threatened Beyoncé and JAY-Z during the filming of “Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story,” a six-part documentary series that was co-produced by JAY-Z.

The Blast reports that Zimmerman, who is known for getting away with the murder of Trayvon Martin (which he claims was self-defense), sent a series of text messages in which he called Beyoncé a “broke whore” and promised that she and Jay would “find themselves inside a 13 foot gator.”

His words verbatim: “Tell Jay-Z he’s a bitch and his wife is a broke whore. If I see either of them in my life, they’ll find themselves inside a 13 foot gator.”

The disturbing messages were allegedly sent when private investigator Dennis Warren was reaching out to people, including George, to potentially appear in the docu-series, which is about Trayvon and the tragedy that inspired the Black Lives Matter movement.

George, who was acquitted in Trayvon’s shooting death, allegedly sent hundreds of harassing messages and voicemails to Dennis, and they’re all (including the threats towards Beyoncé and JAY-Z) set to appear in the upcoming finale of the docuseries. The interactions eventually led to George being charged with misdemeanor stalking back in May.

Despite the charge, Zimmerman tried to hit Warren with a subpoena that demanded him to show him records of his investigation, but Warren fought it, arguing that revealing that information could put a number of already fearful participants at serious risk.

In addition to Warren, Zimmerman also sent similar threatening messages to Michael Gasparro, who executive produced the series alongside JAY-Z. According to the Blast, George messaged Michael with the producer’s own address and told him that members of the Genovese family, a known powerful organized mafia family, were looking for him.

George Zimmerman’s threatening messages to the production crew are similar to ones he directed at JAY-Z last year when he threatened to “beat” him and feed him to an alligator after George claimed production was harassing his family for interviews.

Once word of Zimmerman’s threats against Beyoncé and JAY-Z hit the internet, the BeyHive—Beyoncé’s loyal fanbase—made it crystal clear that they were not here for any slander against the King and Queen of Hip-Hop.

https://twitter.com/crowdgoinape/status/1038293454768496640

Meanwhile, some folks are just tired of the fact that George Zimmerman is still breathing.

The final episode of “Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story” airs on Monday (Sep. 10) at 10:00 p.m. ET on the Paramount Network.

Wayment. Did Mary J. Blige and Faith Evans Get Into a Fight at Diddy’s Party in the Hamptons?!

UPDATE: No, Faith Evans & Mary J. Blige Did NOT Fight at a Party Hosted by Diddy in the Hamptons

******

Original story below:

What. The. F***. Is. Going. On?!

While we’re all still reeling over the fact that Cardi B and Nicki Minaj almost came to blows at a New York Fashion Week event, which culminated in Cardi throwing a shoe at Nicki and walking away with a knot on her forehead after allegedly getting elbowed by Nicki’s security, comes news of another big brawl Friday night (Sep. 7).

According to an unconfirmed internet rumor, our favorite R&B aunties, Mary J. Blige and Faith Evans, got into a fight of their own, and it all allegedly went down at a party hosted by Diddy in the Hamptons.

No credible news sites have reported on the alleged incident, and no one from the party has come forward to confirm or deny the rumor.

We also have no idea where this rumor started from and why Faith Evans and Mary J. Blige would be fighting in 2018 in the first place. But none of that is stopping folks from talking about it on Twitter. So much so that “Mary J,” Faith Evans” and “Mary and Faith” are currently trending!

We’re not sure which incident happened first—Cardi and Nicki’s or the alleged fight between Faith and Mary—but the fact that Cardi and Nicki got into it sparked rumors that Faith and Mary got into their own altercation as well.

Check out the tweets below:

Again, we have no idea how credible this story is, because, at this point, it is simply a rumor that has taken a life of its own on Twitter. Most tweets are people simply asking whether a fight even happened between Mary J. Blige and Faith Evans.

We’ll keep you posted on any updates about this rumor.

WATCH: Videos Show Cardi B Trying to Fight Nicki Minaj at NY Fashion Week Party

Cardi B turned a classy New York Fashion Week event into a Love & Hip Hop fight scene when she “aggressively approached” her rap nemesis Nicki Minaj and tried to physically attack her. “The wild skirmish included hair-pulling and shoe throwing,” Page Six reported.

Cardi and Nicki, dressed in beautiful black tie gowns, were reportedly walking off the red carpet when they crossed paths and things got ugly real fast.

“It was bad,” a source told Page Six. “They were separated by security, but Cardi was still trying to get at her. She took of a giant red shoe and threw it at Nicki — who was being blocked up against a wall by a huge security guard.”

More via Page Six:

Cardi was then led into another room while Nicki was held back with security in front of her.

“There was a giant fist full of hair on the floor. One of Cardi’s assistants came and grabbed it and took it with her.” As for the shoe? Sources tell us someone from Nicki’s camp was heard saying “keep it.”

Summed up another source, “Wigs pulled, Cardi carried off.” A source said that “Cardi was escorted out… She has a knot on her forehead from getting hit.” Another source said, “it started because someone pushed Cardi from behind. She went flying.” But a different source said it was Cardi who started it.

Another witness said that members of the rappers’ entourages — including “Love and Hip Hop” star Rah Ali, who was with Minaj — got involved, and that Cardi B’s dress wound up ripped. “It was ripped totally down the back. Her a– was showing,” said a gobsmacked fashionista of the scene.

Another witness said of the melee, “It was everyone’s people,” and, “Cardi’s standing there with her dress ripped and underwear showing and yelling with a bunch of guys holding her back.”

One guest’s video allegedly shows Ali “trying to go after Cardi after Nicki was against the wall, and Cardi screaming obscenities.”

WHEW CHILE, THE GHETTO!

Video footage showing the scuffle has been shared all over the internet, but TMZ managed to compile into one big clip.

You can actually see Cardi take off her shoe and throw it at Nicki. You can also clearly hear Cardi saying “Like some sh** about my daughter again!” and “Keep f***ing playing with my kid bitch!” as she is being escorted out.

Watch below:

And here’s another angle from the fracas, showing how Cardi’s dress was ripped and her underwear was showing, corroborating Page Six’s report:

Cardi B Explains Why She Tried to Fight Nicki Minaj, Says It Was Over Her Daughter Kulture

Cardi B says she has let a lot of things slide when it comes to Nicki Minaj, but she is NOT letting Nicki off the hook for coming for her parenting skills.

Cardi B was escorted out of a New York Fashion Week party hosted by Harper’s Bazaar Friday night (Sep. 7) after trying to fight Nicki Minaj.

Video footage posted on social media showed Cardi being held back as she was escorted out of the party, and reports emerged that Cardi threw a shoe at Nicki after Nicki’s bodyguards blocked her attempts to lay hands on her.

Amid all of the ruckus, Cardi ended up getting hit by someone (reportedly one of Nicki’s bodyguards), and photos showed Cardi leaving the party with one shoe off and a knot on her forehead. Nicki later posted a video on Instagram, apparently driving away from the party, seeming completely unbothered.

Cardi, who just gave birth to her daughter Kulture in July, also took to Instagram shortly after leaving the event to explain her side of the story and why she decided to try to fight Nicki.

Without mentioning Nicki by name, Cardi freely laid out all of her issues with her rap nemesis, saying that Nicki tried to blackball her from the industry. But the last straw came after Nicki allegedly attacked her parenting skills.

“I’ve worked [too] hard and come too far to let anybody fuck with my success!!!!” Cardi wrote. “Bitches talk about that sh** in [their] raps but in real life they p***y!! This sh** really is for entertainment!!”

Nicki has yet to publicly address the altercation, but she has been updating her Instagram with photos of her at the party, including this one with her, Lala Anthony and Kelly Rowland:

Meanwhile, Twitter has been having a field day with the drama:

Cardi B Got Into a Fight With Nicki Minaj at NY Fashion Week & Walked Away With a Huge Lump on Her Forehead

Welp, it looks like this beef between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj is as real as it gets.

In what sounds like a scene straight out of Love & Hip Hop, Cardi B “aggressively approached” Nicki Minaj at a New York Fashion Week party hosted by Harper’s Bazaar Friday night (Sep. 7), and threw a shoe at her.

According to TMZ spies, when Cardi walked up to Nicki Minaj at her table, Cardi said “Let me tell you something” and she lunged towards Nicki.

When security tried to stop her from making contact (they reportedly elbowed her in the face), she took off her shoe and threw it at her, but missed. TMZ reported that Nicki was “cool as a cucumber” and “didn’t even flinch.”

As for Cardi, she was escorted out by security and she left the building with one shoe on her foot.

Here’s a picture of the shoe Cardi tossed at Nicki:

And here’s a photo of Cardi being escorted out of the building. Notice how she doesn’t have a shoe on:

And also check out the lump on her forehead, which was a result of her being elbowed in the face by Nicki’s security:
