Pooch Hall Arrested for DUI, Was So Drunk He Let His 2-Year-Old Son Drive: Police

Pooch Hall was arrested Wednesday night (Oct. 3) for DUI and felony child endangerment, TMZ reports. Police said the actor was so drunk, he allowed his 2-year-old son to get behind the wheel and drive the vehicle. Uhm… WOW?!

According to authorities, Hall was driving in Burbank, California around 7:30 p.m. when witnesses called 911 after seeing Hall’s 2-year-old son in his lap holding the steering wheel.

TMZ reports:

We’re told the witnesses were horrified to watch the car veer off and smash into a parked car. Thankfully, there were no injuries. One eyewitness tells us he saw the child crying in the front seat. The eyewitness says he looked in the window and the car seat was just laying among the junk in the back seat. It was not installed.

When police arrived on the scene, they Hall reeked of alcohol and could barely walk. They said his blood alcohol level was a .25, which is more than THREE times the legal limit. (FYI: A BAC of .30 is considered alcohol poisoning, and you can die at .40)

Hall was taken into police custody and jailed on $100,000 bail. He was still in jail as of Thursday morning at the time this article was published. His son was released into his wife’s custody.

Pooch Hall is an actor best known for his starring roles on The Game and Ray Donovan, the latter of which still airs on Showtime. Hall plays titular character Ray Donovan’s younger half-brother Daryll on the show.

Hall’s big break as an actor came when he played football star Derwin Davis on The Game for five straight seasons before the show was revamped with new starring characters. He was also in the 2011 box office smash “Jumping the Broom.”

Hall is a father to four children—20-year-old daughter Djanai, 11-year-old daughter Djaeda, 9-year-old son Djordan and 2-year-old son Djulian (the one who was allegedly behind the wheel of Hall’s vehicle when he was sh*t-faced drunk). His oldest child, Djanai has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair.

Hall described himself as a “family man” to People Magazine last year. “As far as me, being an actor and a family man in this world that we are working in … it’s never going to be easy,” he said.

Last Tuesday (Sep. 25) Hall was the emcee for Africa-America Institute’s (AAI) 65th Anniversary Gala at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

One Officer Killed & 6 Others Injured As Man Held Children Hostage in Florence, South Carolina

The Florence, South Carolina cop who was killed in the line of duty today in an active shooter situation has been identified by officials as Officer Terrence Carraway.

Officer Carraway, along with six other cops, was shot Wednesday evening (Oct. 3) during a confrontation with a man who was holding children hostage. City of Florence spokesman John Wukela confirmed to the Associated Press that Carraway had died. He was 52 years old.

The conditions of the six other wounded officers haven’t yet been released, though Florence Mayor Stephen Wukela said that some of the officers are in “serious condition,” and the Florence County Sherriff’s Office said two of the officers were described as “touch and go.” A female officer was among those who were shot, FCSO officials said.

Florence County Sheriff’s Deputy Chief Glenn Kirby confirmed that a 20-year-old male civilian had also been shot, and his condition wasn’t immediately known.

Officials said Officer Carraway had just celebrated 30 years with the Florence Police Department, and today had been a “horrific day” for the community.

“I want you to pray for the family who lost the bravest police officer I have ever known,” Florence Police Chief Allen Heidler, visibly emotional, told reporters at a press conference.

Immediately after Officer Terrence Carraway was ID’d as the cop who was killed in the shooting, tributes started pouring in via social media, with many remembering him as a “good man” who was well-respected, loved and appreciated by those who knew him.

“Please pray for the Carraway Family!” a woman named Melissa Hardwick Welch wrote on Facebook. “As well as all the other officers fighting for another day to serve. Officer Carraway served his community to the fullest, his service and love for others will not go unnoticed.”

A man named Bruce Williams wrote: “My heart and prayers go out to the officers. My heart is full at this time. To Officer Terrence Carraway’s family, he was a very positive officer that looked out for many people in Florence. He was fair to everyone and an awesome man. RIP Officer Carraway.”

The Copperheads LE/MC Pee Dee Chapter, a bike club in South Carolina described as a nonprofit organization “with the sole purpose of supporting our brothers in law enforcement and military,” shared on Facebook that the group was planning a ride in honor of Officer Carraway.

“If you have a bike join our Chapter and many other clubs riding in Sgt. Terrance [Carraway’s] procession to honor his life and sacrifice,” the group wrote on Facebook. “Officer Carraway was one of the 5 officers shot today in Florence. Thank you Sir and rest easy brother.”

Carraway used to coach football years ago and was a huge fan of the Oakland Raiders, according to Heavy.com.

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster and S.C. Senator Tim Scott asked for prayers on Twitter.

“This is simply devastating news from Florence,” Gov. McMaster wrote. “The selfless acts of bravery from the men and women in law enforcement is real, just like the power of prayer is real… I ask that you pray for them, pray for their recovery, pray for their families, and pray for all of Florence.”

“Prayers with injured officers in Florence and their families,” Sen. Scott tweeted.

President Donald Trump also tweeted about the shooting and offered his “thoughts and prayers” to the Florence County Sherriff’s Office and the Florence Police Department. “We are forever grateful for what our Law Enforcement Officers do 24/7/365,” he said.

2The shooting suspect surrendered to police and is in custody. He was later identified as 74-year-old Fred  Hopkins, a disbarred lawyer and Vietnam Veteran. A motive hasn’t been released.

Around 5 p.m. on Wednesday (Oct. 3) reports came in of three sheriff’s deputies and two city of Florence police officers being shot during an active shooter situation. It was later confirmed that seven officers in total, three deputies from the Florence County Sherriff’s Office and four officers from the Florence Police Department, had been shot.

Sheriff Kenney Boone said during a press conference: “Fire was being shot all over. The way the suspect was positioned, his view of fire was several hundred yards. So he had an advantage and the officers couldn’t get to the ones that was down.”

Florence Mayor Stephen Wukela’s Office released the following statement:

“City of Florence Police Department responded to an incident in support of Florence County Sheriff’s Deputies. They took fire and several officers were wounded, some seriously. The incident has now concluded with the suspect in custody. Mayor Wukela will issue a statement at a later point.”

The suspect surrendered to deputies after talking with a negotiator, Florence County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Glen Kirby said.

Around 6 p.m., the Florence County Emergency Management dispatch released an update via social media that the suspect was in custody, writing: “The active shooting situation is over and the suspect is in custody. We are asking everyone to stay away from Vintage Place as there is still an active crime investigation in progress.”

Authorities said the shooting happened as sheriff’s deputies were attempting to serve a warrant at Vintage Place, an upscale neighborhood in the western part of the city, around 4 p.m.

The wounded deputies had to be removed using a bulletproof vehicle, Major Mike Nunn, with the Florence County Sheriff’s Department, said.

The shooter was later identified as a 74-year-old disbarred lawyer and Vietnam veteran named Fred Hopkins. He’s in custody at McLeod Regional Medical Center and hasn’t talked to police because he’s recovering from a head injury he suffered after falling during the shooting incident.

Florence is a small town about 70 miles north of Myrtle Beach with a population of about 37,000 people.

State Rep. Jay Jordan, R-Florence, asked that the South Carolina State House take a moment of silence for Officer Carraway and the injured police officers.

Rep. Terry Alexander, who represents parts of Florence, released a statement saying: “It’s just a very sad situation. We have got to do something about these guns. We should also remember to be calm and let the process take place. Let’s see what our magnificent law enforcement officers come up with to make sure that our people are safe, especially our children. I am in prayer for all six families who are hurting right now, including that of the shooter.”

Former Clemson Football Player C.J. Fuller Dies at 22

C.J. Fuller, a former Clemson football player, died Wednesday (Oct. 3).

Gill Payne, the athletic director at Easley High School, where Fuller was a star player and led his team to the state playoffs three consecutive years, confirmed his death to multiple media outlets. He was 22 years old.

An autopsy report revealed Fuller’s cause of death to be a “pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis” related to a recent knee surgery. Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley said he died from a blood clot that lodged in an artery in his lungs.

Fuller played for Clemson between 2014 and 2017 and was part of the 2016 National Championship winning team. He redshirted in 2014 before accumulating 599 yards and rushing on 147 carries with five touchdowns over the next three seasons. He also racked up 290 yards on 17 career kickoff returns.

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney released the following statement regarding C.J.’s death:

“Our thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathies are with C.J.’s family. I’ve known C.J. a long time and watched him grow up through the Easley rec leagues all the way through Easley High School. I’m proud of what he accomplished as a Clemson Tiger, most of all, his accomplishment of being a Clemson graduate. Our deepest condolences and the thoughts of our program are with his family this evening. May he rest in peace.”

Fuller, whose position was running back, left Clemson’s football team after the 2017 season and was planning to transfer to play elsewhere. He graduated from Clemson with a sociology degree in August.

Damon Wayans Announces He’s Quitting ‘Lethal Weapon’ TV Show: “I’m Too Old For This”

Damon Wayans says he’s DONE with “Lethal Weapon.” The actor announced this morning (via EurWeb) that he is quitting the hit Fox series, effective this December after he finishes filming the initial 13 episodes for the show’s upcoming third season.

“I’m a 58-year-old diabetic, and I’m working 16-hour days,” so he’s just over the whole thing at this point, a noticeably irritated Wayans said. “I’m done… like Murtaugh [his character on the show] says, ‘I’m too old for this.'”

The actor went on to explain that his mother and daughter recently underwent surgeries that he had to miss because he was working. “It’s hard for me to play this loving, supportive father/husband/ friend on TV, but be the guy in life that is telling everyone, I can’t I have to work,” he said.

He continued: “You have to look yourself in the eye and ask, ‘Who are you?’ It can’t be all about work. I’m from a big family, a loving family. All the family gatherings, I haven’t seen them. I’m too tired or I can’t because it conflicts with work… I have seven grandkids. I’ve been missing recitals and graduations. To me, it’s just not worth it. There is a better way to live life.”

Earlier this year, Damon put his former co-star Clayne Crawford on blast after Crawford was fired from the show.

Wayans blamed Crawford for a stunt that injured him, and claimed Crawford was mean and intimidating on set, and enjoyed making women cry.

“How does the shrapnel from this hit me on the opposite side of the head? #directedby @claynecrawford” Damon tweeted back in May along with a photo of a bloody scar on the back of his head.

Damon also said staffers would often call Clayne an “emotional terrorist.” He also claimed Crawford was physically abusive, writing, “He hit another actor in the mouth with a bottle of green tea and busted his mouth open.”

Wayans said that shooting the first 13 episodes of the season would give producers plenty of time to find a replacement for him. He said in 2019, he plans to return to the comedy stage so that he can “try to find [his] smile again.”

Video Shows Machine Gun Kelly’s Bodyguards Brutally Attacking Actor Gabriel “G-Rod” Rodriguez

Last month, Machine Gun Kelly’s crew was accused of brutally attacking actor Gabriel “G-Rod” Rodriguez, and now there’s proof of the incident in the form of a recently released surveillance video.

As we previously reported, G-Rod approached MGK at a bar in Atlanta and called him a “p***y” over his beef with Eminem, which was allegedly sparked from a years-old tweet in which MGK called Em’s then 16-year-old daughter “hot.”

G-Rod’s exact words were: “I’m gonna say it because it has to be said, you’re a p***y for going for family!” Video footage showing G-Rod’s initial altercation showed Machine Gun Kelly appearing to shove G-Rod, who told TMZ that five of Kelly’s bodyguards got involved after the video stopped recording, and that’s when MGK “suddenly got tough and started challenging him.”

Two hours later, as G-Rod was walking towards his hotel, which was right across the street from the bar, he and MGK’s crew got into yet another verbal confrontation, which caused the police to intervene. After the officers left, G-Rod said he offered to fight MGK and his bodyguards one-by-one, but instead, the bodyguards all jumped him at once.

The surveillance video, obtained by TMZ, shows the physical altercation that ensued, and in the footage, you can see a member of MGK’s crew run up behind G-Rod and put him in a bear hug before picking him up and body slamming the 230-pound actor pretty hard.

Moments later, three other men from MGK’s posse begin stomping and beating the crap out of G-Rod. Kelly isn’t seen in the footage, but G-Rod said the rapper stood by and watched as his bodyguards punched him and kicked him in the face.

According to TMZ, one of the guys who assaulted G-Rod is MGK’s drummer “R00K.” Another guy in the video goes by the name “Slim.”

G-Rod was reportedly treated at a nearby hospital for facial injuries, and he told TTMZ’s he’s already lawyered up and plans to sue MGK, but he said he’ll call the lawsuit off and drop the criminal charges if MGK signs a waiver to fight him in the octagon “man-to-man without goons or weapons.”

“Real f**king manly of this BITCH!!!” G-Rod said to TMZ in response to the surveillance footage. “Tell him I’ll take him plus 1 of his goons to get him to my weight class!!! And I’ll drop all charges!! MGP***Y”

Parking Lot Barbara: Woman Calls Police on Mom Sitting in Her Own Car With Her Own Baby

Here we go again: Another white person has called the police on a person of color for simply existing. When will it ever end?

This past weekend, the hashtag #ParkingLotBarbara became a trending topic on Twitter after a video went viral showing a white woman in California calling the police on a mother, who just so happened to be Hispanic, for (GASP!) sitting in her own car with her own baby.

The woman said she was concerned because the child wasn’t properly shielded from the sun’s rays.

The footage starts with the woman admonishing the mother, “Because you told me it was ‘None of your business that your child is in pain,’” as she held a cellphone to her ear.

“She’s not in pain — she’s sleeping in her car seat,” replied the mother. “What are you doing? Tell everyone what you’re doing.”

The woman spoke into the phone, “I have this child here in this car at the PetSmart parking lot and the sun is kind of beating right at the baby’s face in the back seat. She’s still in a little car seat, I don’t know how old she is.”

“In the car with her!” insisted the mother. The woman answered, “No, you’re not, you’re out here yelling at me.”

The mother’s husband then emerged. “She says Elsie is in pain … because she’s sleeping in the sun…” said his partner.

The woman continued her call, “Now she’s outside yelling at me. She wasn’t in the car.” When she spotted the husband, the woman placed the call on hold and the mom exclaimed, “Oh, because he’s white? Because he’s white, it’s OK because he’s here now?”

“Because he’s acting sane — you’re screaming at me,” said the woman, adding that she hadn’t seen an adult present. Then she turned to the mother — who pointed out that she did see her — and scolded her, “One of us at a time.” The woman also told the mom, “It is my business when I mistakenly think the child is in distress.”

The husband then asked the woman to admit her mistake, and she replied, “Yes, I can see that she’s OK now.” She also insisted that she didn’t realize the baby’s father was white, due to his baseball hat and beard.

Twitter, for the most part, called the woman out for being a racist POS and escalating a clearly innocent situation, but there were some far less sane folks arguing that she had good intentions and was simply confused.

Le sigh… Can we all just agree that wypipo calling the po-po on POCs is becoming an old and tired trope at this point?

Mugshot Madness: Florida Man Offered to Buy Woman’s 8-Year-Old Daughter for $200,000

Police in Florida say a man offered a woman at a Walmart in Port Orange $200,000 to buy her 8-year-old daughter from her.

According to WKMG TV, Hellmuth Kolb was arrested Saturday (Sep. 29) after a woman claimed he walked up to her while she was sitting on a bench inside the store with her daughter. The woman, Tracy Nigh, told police the 81-year-old man asked her if she was married before quickly changing the subject to her daughter. “It seemed like a friendly conversation. He didn’t seem like a threat at first,” Nigh said.

Kolb then asked Nigh several times if she would take money in exchange for her 8-year-old daughter. “The first amount was $100,000, the second amount was $150,000 and then the final amount was $200,000,” Nigh said. “I then said ‘No, we have to go.'”

Nigh said she was becoming more and more uncomfortable with the situation so she got up to leave with her child.

“I think what was going through my mind was, ‘What was going to happen here?’ and I just need to get her away as quickly as possible,” she said.

As the pair were leaving, police said, Kolb grabbed the girl’s arm, tried to pull her in toward him and kissed her wrist. Nigh pulled her daughter back and left the area immediately, notifying Walmart security before leaving the store, according to the arrest report. The incident was captured on surveillance video at the store. Deputies said the video shows Kolb grab the victim and forcibly restrain her against her will.

Deputies were able to identify Kolb through his credit card transaction and other investigative means, including social media, where another woman said she had experienced a similar incident with Kolb.

Nigh posted about the incident on Facebook to warn others about the encounter. “I felt like it was a duty to my community that I needed to warn other parents,’ Nigh said. “The more that come forward the better I think for this and for the community.”

Police said when they interviewed Kolb at his home, he said he remembered sitting next to a mother and her daughter at the Walmart. He also admitted to complimenting the woman, but said he didn’t recall grabbing her daughter, according to WNDB radio. Nigh later picked out Kolb from a photo lineup.

After being booked into the Volusia County Jail Saturday, Kolb was charged with simple battery and false imprisonment, and was ordered by a judge not to have any further contact with the girl or her mother.

That’s one bold MF to walk up to a woman to offer her money in exchange for her young child. WHO TF DOES THAT?!

Y’all be careful with your kids out here. Some people are legit CRAZY CRAZY.

Biddy Brawl: Lyrica & A1’s Mamas’ Beach Fight on “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” Had Twitter in Shambles

Those of us who’ve regularly been following Love & Hip Hop Hollywood already know about the off-and-on feud between A1 and Lyrica’s mamas Pam Bentley and Lyrica Garrett. One minute they’re brawling, the next they’re patching things up, and then a minute later they’re back to beefing all over again.

This season, they’ve been at odds over rumors that Lyrica cheated on A1 with Safaree. On this week’s episode, A1 and Lyrica “surprised” their mothers with a beach house vacation, where they were supposed to patch things up.

Just when things started to look like they were going well between these two, sh** started to go all the way left when Pam got pissed off that she wasn’t invited to A1 and Lyrica’s first ultrasound appointment. “How come I wasn’t invited?” Pam asks, to which Lyrica G responds, “I don’t know… maybe you need to ask A1.”

Then all hell broke loose after Pam brought up the fact that she wants “to have a DNA” once the baby is born to see if he’s really her grandson. (Spoiler Alert: A1 and Lyrica said they’re having a boy yesterday on Wendy Williams, plus they already did a pre-birth DNA test, and A1 IS the father.)

Lyrica G called Pam “ignorant” and Pam responded by trying to throw a beach chair at her. The whole thing was a hilarious mess, and Twitter was in shambles over it, and the fact that Pam and Lyrica G can’t ever seem to get their wig game straight.

Bossip probably said it best: “It’s a shame these women couldn’t get along because they could really bond over blend struggles and bundle poverty.”

Issa Boy! Lyrica & A1 Reveal They’re Having a Son, and A1 IS the Father

The wait is finally over. Love & Hip Hop Hollywood couple Lyrica Anderson and her husband A1 Bentley have revealed that they are having a boy, and not only that, they took a paternity test to confirm that A1 is the baby’s father.

A1 and Lyrica’s storyline on LHHH Season 5 has been EXTREMELY messy, with rumors floating around that Lyrica slept with Safaree and may have gotten pregnant by him.

Lyrica denied the rumors, although Safaree “admitted” to Ray J that he smashed. While we’ll never know what really happened between Lyrica and Safaree, A1 can finally rest easy knowing that his wife’s unborn baby is actually his.

The couple appeared on The Wendy Williams Show Tuesday (Oct. 2), and while there, A1 told Wendy that he had a pre-birth DNA test performed on Lyrica following the cheating accusations. The results of the test proved that he is, indeed, the father.

“I knew it,” A1 told Wendy. “But things happen, you know.” Lyrica—showing off her growing baby bump—chimed in, adding, “Listen, Wendy, I did this for him … I wanted him to feel comfortable. I felt like since I was the one getting badged with the rumors, he was owed that. Other than that, I always knew.”

The rumors of Lyrica and Safaree having an affair was sparked by messy azz K. Michelle, however, A1 and Lyrica are clearly past the drama and are looking forward to raising their son together. Congrats to the couple!

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 11 Cast Photos: Where’s Kenya Moore & Sheree Whitfield?

In addition to releasing the Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 11 trailer earlier this week, Bravo also unveiled the official cast photos for the new season.

In the big photo, which features the entire cast, from left to right is Kandi Burruss, Porsha Williams, Cynthia Bailey, NeNe Leakes, Eva Marcille (who’s been upgraded from friend to official peach holder), and Shamari DeVoe—who leapfrogged over longtime “friend of the show” Marlo Hampton to secure her own peach on her very first season.

As you can see, two faces are clearly missing from the photo: Kenya Moore and Sheree Whitfield!

As we previously reported, Kenya Moore was let go from the show because she refused to let cameras document her marriage to Marc Daly, and getting pregnant obviously wasn’t enough for her to keep her peach.

We also heard that Sheree Whitfield was fired as well, and it looks like the rumors were true. We’re not entirely sure why Sheree had her peach snatched from her, but we can take a wild guess that it had something to do with her felon bae storyline not being interesting enough to bring in viewers.

“RHOA” Season 11 Trailer: Porsha’s Pregnant, Eva’s Getting Married, Shamari DeVoe Is the New Girl & Cynthia Bailey Has a New Man

The “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” will soon return to your TV screens, and Bravo is giving fans their first look at what to expect from the show’s upcoming 11th season.

The trailer, which clocks in at just a little over two minutes, shows Porsha Williams announcing her pregnancy and showing off her new fiancé Dennis McKinley, new peach-holder Eva Marcille having some wedding issues, newcomer Shamari DeVoe—who is married to Ronnie DeVoe from New Edition—making her RHOA debut and holding her own peach as well, and more. (Fun fact: Shamari used to be a part of the 90’s/early 2000’s girl group Blaque!)

But Porsha Williams isn’t the only one showing off her new man. Cynthia Bailey is also in a new relationship. “At the rate we’re going, we’re going to be married soon,” she says. “Did I say soon?” Uhh, yes ma’am, you did!

Meanwhile, series vet NeNe Leakes is back for yet another season, with cameras capturing her husband Gregg’s battle with cancer. “The type of cancer that Gregg has… is it beatable?” she asks his doctor. And the ladies aren’t too keen on Porsha’s fiancé. “He’s a dog alright,” says Kandi Burruss. However, according to Porsha, he has her name tattooed on him, so “he ain’t going nowhere!”

Noticeably absent from the trailer are Kenya Moore and Sheree Whitfield.

Marlo Hampton is still peach-less, but of course, she’s back to stir up some drama between the ladies, and in the trailer, she has her eyes set on Eva Marcille. “You’re a fraud! You’re a fraud!” Marlo shouts while Eva tells her “Don’t come for me!”

Bill Cosby’s Fellow Prison Inmates Have Already Given Him a Hilarious Nickname

Say hello to “OG Bill!” Or at least that’s what his fellow prison inmates are reportedly calling him.

Believe it or not, Bill Cosby has already earned the respect from “the toughest cellblocks” at the State Correctional Institution Phoenix, where he will be spending the next 3 to 10 years of his life, Radar Online reports.

“Prisoners are excited that Cosby is there,” a source close to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections told Radar. “Even the toughest cellblocks showed respect for him.”

Cosby is so well-respected at the prison that his fellow inmates have already given him a nickname.

“They’re calling him the ‘OG’—lingo for ‘original gangster,'” the source said.

As previously reported, shortly after Judge Steven O’Neill sentenced the convicted sex offender to 3-10 years in prison for drugging and raping Andrea Constand, he was immediately taken to SCI Phoenix, a new state prison outside Philadelphia, after making a stop at the Montgomery County Jail.

“We are taking all the necessary precautions to ensure Mr. Cosby’s safety and general welfare in our institution,” Corrections Secretary John Wetzel said. “The long-term goal is for him to be placed in the general population to receive the programming required during his incarceration.”

Scrapp DeLeon From “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” Released From Prison After Serving 2 Years of 5-Year Sentence

Scrapp DeLeon is finally a free man! The Love & Hip Hop Hop Atlanta star has reportedly been released from prison after spending the past two years behind bars.

Scrapp received a five-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to drug trafficking (for marijuana). He also received 15 years probation and a $100,000 fine. We watched him be hauled off to prison in 2016, which made for a very emotional reality TV moment.

He wasn’t supposed to be released until 2021, but earlier this year, we reported that he could be granted an early release for good behavior.

Momma Dee shared the happy news about him being sprung from prison on Instagram Saturday (Sep 29) by posting a photo of them together.

She wrote in the caption: “Showing love to @iamthequeenkarenking Scrap free at last thank God almighty he is free much [love] from the palace.”

Scrapp’s own momma, Karen KK King, also confirmed the news with a photo of Scrapp’s super sculpted post-prison body.

And his baby mama Tiarra posted a screenshot of a recent FaceTime session, praising him for being a devoted father and revealing how anxious she was for him to get back to his co-parenting duties.

“Been keeping this low key but welcome home chump … Now take yo son G! I need a break break! Best dad ever,” she wrote, also adding that she’s taking him to a strip club in Miami as soon as he’s able to leave the state.

One person we haven’t heard from so far is his ex Tommie, which isn’t surprising considering she’s been dealing with her own legal issues lately, plus she and Scrapp didn’t exactly leave on the best of terms.

Regardless, we’re sure all of this will be documented on the upcoming 8th season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, which is currently in production and will likely premiere sometime in Spring 2019.

WATCH: XXXTentacion’s “Moonlight” Music Video

Nearly four months after his death, XXXTentacion has posthumously released the official video for his hit single “Moonlight.”

The two-minute video, which was written and creative-directed by XXX himself, shows the late rapper wandering around an outdoor party with a smile on his face as excited youths enjoy the gathering while he keeps to himself listening to music through wireless headphones.

The video ends with a dedication to the 20-year-old rapper, born Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, which reads: “Energy never dies. He is amongst us. Long live Jah.”

“Moonlight,” which peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 (his second-highest charting release), is the third single release from the album ?—the last project XXX released while he was alive. The video marks the rapper’s second posthumous release, following “SAD!”—which was released just 10 days after his tragic shooting death.

X also posthumously appeared on Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V album in the song “Don’t Cry” and he’s also expected to be featured on Kanye West’s upcoming album Yandhi.

X, who was shot to death in an apparent robbery on June 18th, had reportedly signed a massive record deal worth around $10 million just weeks before his passing and was already working on his third album, for which he had already recorded “a significant amount of material.” That album is set to be released this fall.

Bill Cosby is having a pretty tough time adjusting to his new life behind bars, if recent reports are to be believed.

As we previously reported, Bill Cosby was found guilty of three felony counts of aggravated indecent assault for drugging and molesting a woman named Andrea Constand nearly 14 years ago. More than 30 other women have come forward accusing Cosby of drugging and engaging in sexual acts with them without their consent as well.

Last week, after the disgraced comedian was sentenced to 3-10 years behind bars, his bail was immediately revoked and he was escorted to prison directly from the sentencing.

“The day has come,” Judge Steven O’Neill told the 81-year-old before sentencing him. “Your time has come.”

A source from the Montgomery County told Radar Online after Cosby was sentenced, he was allowed a brief phone call by speakerphone to his wife of 54 years, Camille, who did not attend the sentencing.

Bill reportedly told Camille that his first prison dining experience horrific. The source told Radar: “He said he had a stale hotdog bun thrown at him and he fell down a few steps because he wasn’t being guided.”

The source also said that the former TV dad also complained about deprived of his cane, tie, and shoelaces because they think he’ll harm himself.

Cosby, who reportedly whined that he was “under siege,” is also said to have desperately begged his wife to get ready to do anything she could to get him out of prison.

“He told Camille, ‘Grab the checkbook and hire anyone and everyone’ who could get him out as soon as possible,” the source added.

Bill Cosby is currently serving his sentence at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, and it sounds like he has a long road ahead of him.

Rapper Lil Xan Hospitalized After “Overdosing” on Flamin’ Hot Cheetos

This past week, I learned two things. One: There’s an actual rapper named Lil Xan (you know, like the pill Xanax?) And two: It is possible to “overdose” on Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.

Last Monday (Sep. 24), Lil Xan had to be rushed to the hospital after consuming too many Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. After sharing a picture from the back of an ambulance to his IG stories, the 22-year-old rapper explained what happened in a video he posted on Instagram.

“I went to the hospital today,” he said. “You know, getting ready to pack for this tour. I just want to let everybody know I was in the hospital—not due to any drugs—but I guess I ate too many Hot Cheetos and I guess it ripped something in my stomach open, so I puked a little blood…”

He wrote in the caption: “Just wanna let everyone know that I’m good, healthier then I’ve ever been and ready to kick of my third Tour in NY ina couple days! Also be careful, Hot Cheetos are one hell of a drug aha.”

Of course some folks were all “WE DON’T BELIEVE YOU, YOU NEED MORE PEOPLE” regarding his alleged Hot Cheetos overdose, but apparently, OD’ing on Hot Cheetos is an actual thing.

In fact, according to USA Today’s The Commercial Appeal blog, the consumption of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and Takis are the leading cause of gastric-related hospital visits among kids, with one children’s hospital in Memphis, Tennessee estimating this year that it sees at least 100 to 150 patients per month following overconsumption of spicy snacks, which leads to abdominal pain and/or acid reflux.

Just this past July, a Memphis woman told WREG that her 17-year-old daughter had to have her gallbladder removed after eating too many Takis.

“When my daughter had to have this surgery, I knew I had to tell everybody about it,” Rene Craighead said. “She loves [hot snacks]. Every time I go out she says, ‘Bring me back some Hot Takis, bring me back some Hot Chips.’ I want to make her happy, so I brought them back. She was eating big bags and would take them to school with her.”

Craighead said her daughter was consuming around four bags of hot snacks per week.

Dr. Cary Cavender, a gastroenterologist at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis says there’s a lot of factors that go into having a gallbladder removed, but he believes eating hot chips probably contributed. “We do see tons of gastritis and ulcer-related stuff due to it,” Dr. Cavender told WREG.

“It’s reached the point where almost the first question we ask is ‘Have you been eating hot chips?’ Because there are an uncanny number of them that are,” Cavender said to The Commercial Appeal. “There is something amazingly addictive about them. The kids just go nuts for them.”

In a statement on behalf of Takis, Buchanan Public Relations said: “We assure you that Takis are safe to eat, but should be enjoyed in moderation as part of a well-balanced diet. Takis ingredients fully comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations, and all of the ingredients in each flavor are listed in detail on the label. Always check the serving size before snacking.”

Frito-Lay, the parent company behind Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, also said in a statement: “We aim to delight our consumers and food safety is always our number one priority. Flamin’ Hot Cheetos meet all applicable food safety regulations, as well as our rigorous quality standards. That said, we realize some consumers may be more sensitive to spicy foods than others and may choose to moderate consumption or avoid spicier snacks due to personal preference.”

As for Lil Xan, despite having a hole burned into his stomach from Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, it seems like he’s having some trouble staying away from the spicy snack.

Last Wednesday (Sep. 26), just two days after his emergency hospitalization, the rapper–who kicked off his “Total Xanarchy Tour” in New York City that night–was offered a bag of Hot Cheetos by a TMZ cameraman, and he happily ate a Cheeto on camera.

Teacher Lowered Student’s Grade Because He Stopped Having Sex With Her, Lawsuit Claims

A former South Carolina teacher allegedly forced a student to have sex with her multiple times, and actually lowered his grade after he began to fend off her advances, according to a lawsuit filed by the student’s mother.

The suit, which was filed last month on behalf of the then 17-year-old male student and his mother, alleges that 28-year-old Jennifer Danielle Olajire-Aro—who taught math and was a tennis coach at Burke High School in Charleston, S.C.—blackmailed the teen into having a sexual relationship with her, and when he eventually refused, she would remind him that she controlled his grade.

The lawsuit says that the boy told his mother after the teacher dropped his grade from a 98 to 89 when he refused to have sex with her in December 2017. After confessing to the sexual encounters with the teen, Olajire-Aro was arrested that month and charged with sexual battery with a student. She was released on $100,000 bail and her criminal case is still pending.

The suit, which claims negligence, is against Olajire-Aro’s employer (the Charleston County School District). She is not named as a defendant.

The student’s complaint argues that the district failed to properly give him a “safe, educational, and harassment-free environment to receive a high school education” and accommodated “an environment which enabled [Olajire-Aro] to prey on the vulnerabilities of adolescent males.”

According to an affidavit, Olajire-Aro allegedly engaged in “an intimate and sexual relationship with her 17-year-old male student” on three occasions between November and December 2017 at her home and other locations in Charleston.

Olajire-Aro taught pre-calculus and algebra at Burke, the Post and Courier reported. She graduated from the University of Texas with a master’s degree in education, and had no prior record, her attorney said.

Olajire-Aro—a native of Dallas, Texas—also has a family of her own. “She is married. Her husband is a student at the Medical University of South Carolina (in) the residency program. She has a 10-month-old baby, a girl,” her attorney said in court in December.

A Charleston County School District spokesman declined to comment on the lawsuit as it is pending litigation. He said Olajire-Aro was hired by the district in 2017 and was placed on leave on December 18th, the same day officials found out about the allegations.

Olajire-Aro was fired in late January 2018, the district spokesman said.

Cardi B Turns Herself in to Police Over Strip Club Fight

Cardi B will surrender to police Monday (Oct. 1) to answer to charges stemming from a fight at a strip club she was allegedly involved in two months ago.

TMZ is reporting that Cardi will be charged for allegedly sicking her posse on two bartenders at Angels Strip Club in Queens, New York City back in August. The two bartenders, Jade and Baddie G, say Cardi had been beefing with Jade because Cardi thought she had slept with her husband Offset.

Cardi, who was at the strip club because Migos was performing, confronted Jade and Baddie G, and allegedly told her crew to attack them with bottles and chairs. Both women were badly injured and required medical care after the assault.

Sources close to Cardi tell TMZ that the attack against the women, who are sisters (pictured above), was not premeditated. It was “spontaneous” and was triggered after someone tossed a drink. The women say Cardi never personally laid a hand on them, however, she did reportedly yell, “I’m blood I’ll f**k you bitches up!”

Once Cardi surrenders to police, she will be charged with at least two misdemeanors: reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. She won’t be arrested though; she’ll just receive a summons to appear in court on the charges, according to TMZ.

CNN Founder Ted Turner Reveals He Has Lewy Body Dementia, The Same Disease Robin Williams Suffered From

Ted Turner, the American media mogul best known as the founder of TBS (Turner Broadcasting System) and Cable News Network (CNN), has revealed that he is battling a disease called Lewy body dementia, the same form of dementia that actor Robin Williams suffered from in the last few years of his life, which led him to commit suicide in 2014.

Turner made the shocking revelation in an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, which aired last night (Sun, Sep. 30). The 79-year-old compared his case to a “mild case of Alzheimer’s … but not nearly as bad.” He added, “Alzheimer’s is fatal. Thank goodness I don’t have that.”

According to the website for the Lewy Body Dementia Association, LBD affects at least 1.5 million Americans. The disease is described as a progressive neurological disorder that affects a person’s memory and cognition (especially decision making), as well as their mood, behavior and balance. It is often misdiagnosed with Parkinson’s, as Williams’ case was, or bipolar disorder, like Turner’s was.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a definitive test for LDB. Doctors arrive at the diagnosis by using a patient’s imaging scans, a physical exam, their medical history and blood work. Once diagnosed, cases are typically managed by neurologists, who may also refer patients to cognitive specialists and psychologists to help address the mental symptoms.

During his interview with Ted Koppel, Turner displayed some of the memory problems associated with LBD as he struggled to remember the name of his disorder.

“I also have got … let’s … I can’t remember the name of it…” he said before suddenly recalling what he was trying to say. “That’s dementia. I can’t remember what my disease is,” he said, laughing. Turner said LBD leaves him “tired” and “exhausted,” and said that the other symptom that bothers him the most is “forgetfulness.”

Turner said his father committed suicide at 53 years old and left him a note apologizing for what he’d done. “He just said he was sorry,” Turner explained to Koppel. “That he got in … he felt like he was in over his head, but he wasn’t. He just apologized. Sad. I loved him very much, and he was a hero of mine.”

Asked if he would ever consider suicide, Turner said “No … I’ve got five children and 14 grandchildren, and I wouldn’t put them through that. That was painful. It was painful for me, I know, when my father did it. And I’m not going to even think about doing anything like that for my children and grandchildren.”

Turner was also asked about his thoughts on how things are being run at CNN. While he doesn’t watch the news as much anymore, Turner did have an opinion on how the company he founded nearly four decades ago in 1980 is being operated.

“I think they’re sticking with politics a little too much,” he said. “They’d do better to have a more balanced agenda. But that’s, you know, just one person’s opinion.”

The Broward County Sheriff’s Office has released the surveillance video showing a group of men ambushing and killing rapper XXXTentacion as he was leaving a motorsports dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida back in June.

The haunting footage showing the final moments of XXX’s life was played in public for the first time Thursday (Sep. 27) by prosecutors during a Broward County court hearing for one of the suspects.

The video shows X arriving at RIVA Motorsports at 3:30 p.m. on June 18th. X had a bag in his left hand as he and a friend entered the dealership.

A minute later, the footage shows the suspects’ car arriving and two of them walking into the store behind X. The men walked past XXXTentacion, who briefly looked at them before continuing his conversation with an employee at the store (as seen in the image above). The video shows the suspects walking to the back of the store and talking on their cell phones.

Less than 30 minutes later, around 3:55 p.m., as XXXTentacion was leaving the store and driving out of the parking lot, the rapper’s BMW was blocked by an SUV from exiting. When XXX stops his car, two men wielding guns jump out of the SUV—one holding some sort of assault rifle—and confront the rapper, while a person in X’s car flees.

Investigators say the men threatened and robbed XXXTentacion, and the video shows the men struggling with him. In the video, you can actually see the men reaching into X’s car as he resists.

As one of the men points a large gun into the driver’s side window, the other man goes around to the open passenger door and enters the vehicle. Shots are fired before the men flee with a Louis Vuitton bag from the rapper’s car. As previously reported, the suspects made off with $50K in cash, which was in the LV bag.

Prosecutors explained XXX’s final moments alive during a discovery and bail hearing for Robert Allen, one of four suspects charged with the rapper’s murder.

Prosecutors said the man who pulled the trigger is Michael Boatright and the other man seen in the footage who jumped into the passenger side of the vehicle is Trayvon Newsome. Dedrick Williams and Robert Allen were the two men seen following X into the dealership.

During Allen’s court hearing, in which he asked the judge to reduce his band, his attorney, Jim Lewis, said Allen never left the vehicle and did not take part in the robbery.

“He was at the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong people,” Lewis said (according to CBS Miami). “It’s always been my client’s position is he didn’t know this was going to be a robbery, he didn’t participate in it. He didn’t share any of the fruits of it.”

But prosecutors and investigators say that is far from the truth, and Allen is accused of playing a role in the murder—from being linked to the rental car to communicating with the other men who were outside the store prior to the murder.

The judge ultimately denied Allen’s request to reduce his bond, and all four men remain in Broward County Main Jail on premeditated murder charges.
