For the first time since being elected president in 2016, Donald Trump will be forced to work with a Congress that the Democrats control.
The Democrats won a majority in the U.S. House of Representatives on Tuesday’s mid-term elections, and now talk has switched to the actions the party could take against President Trump.
Not too long after that news was announced, posts quickly popped up on social media noting that one of Trump’s toughest critics—Democrat Maxine Waters—will likely be in charge of the House Financial Committee, which is probably one of Trump’s worst nightmares.
Why is this such a big deal, you ask? Well, whoever assumes the position of chair of the House Financial Services Committee would be able to subpoena Trump’s bank records, his tax returns and anything else related to his finances.
And if that person just so happens to be Auntie Maxine, then you better believe she’s going to use her power to do just that.
From the looks of it, Twitter seems to be pretty excited over the possibility of Ms. Waters making Trump do something he’s refused to do for YEARS:

Remember when Trump said Maxine Waters has "low IQ"? Auntie Maxine will become the new chairwomen of the House Financial Services Committee. And she will subpoena Trump's tax returns.
Plot twist. Maxine Waters is now head of financial services and can subpoena Trump’s tax returns. Baby, let me stock up on some Lipton’s, because the tea is about to be scorching hot ??? pic.twitter.com/OcnRASct1Z
President Trump’s first press conference following yesterday’s midterm election was, unsurprisingly, a whole sh*t-show.
In between yelling at CNN’s Jim Acosta and dodging questions regarding his statement that he’s a white nationalist, Trump also denied knowing Lil Jon—who appeared on Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice show not just once, but TWICE.
Near the end of Trump’s bizarre post-midterm press conference, he was asked about accusations of racism, including Lil Jon’s claim that Trump called him Uncle Tom.
“Michael Cohen recently said you called black voters stupid; Omarosa has accused you of using the ‘N’ word, and the rapper Lil Jon has said you called him ‘Uncle Tom.’ What’s your response?” asked one reporter.
“I don’t know who Little Jon is,” Trump responded. “I really don’t.”
“He was on ‘The Apprentice,'” the reporter replied. (FYI: Lil Jon appeared on the reality show with Trump as a contestant in 2011 and 2013.)
“Oh, he was?” Trump asked. “OK. Oh, I see. I don’t know… I would never do that, and I don’t use racist remarks, and you know what, if I did, you would’ve known about it.”
“When this ‘Uncle Tom’ incident happened on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ in the boardroom several of my castmates and I addressed Mr. Trump immediately when we heard the comment,” the rapper/producer wrote on Twitter. “I can’t say if he knew what he was actually saying or not, but he did stop using that term once we explained (its) offensiveness.”
Here is a video showing Donald Trump warmly embracing Lil Jon and posing for photos with him just five years ago during an appearance at Trump Tower:
In addition to saying he had no idea who Lil Jon was, Trump also said that he doesn’t think Oprah likes him anymore—which is probably true.
“I was tempted to ask you why you liked Oprah,” one reporter said.
“Why do I like Oprah? What kind of question is that? He’s a comedian here,” Trump responded, gesturing to the journalist. “I do like Oprah. She was a person I knew well. She came to my place in Palm Beach often and I have a lot of respect for her.”
Trump added: “I don’t know if she likes me anymore but that’s okay.”
Per President Donald Trump’s request, Jeff Sessions is out as attorney general.
Trump fired AG Jeff Sessions Wednesday, just one day after the midterm elections, which resulted in the loss of the House of Representatives to Democrats.
Sessions’ firing came not too long after Trump’s insane press conference in which he waged a war against Democrats and sparred with a number of journalists, including CNN’s Jim Acosta.
In a resignation letter sent to the president, Sessions said that he was asked to resign (basically insinuating that he was not doing this on his own terms), but thanked Trump “for the opportunity” to serve as the 84th attorney general for the past year-and-a-half.
Sessions also listed what he considered his accomplishments during his nearly 21-month tenure.
Read Sessions’ entire letter below:
Dear Mr. President,
At your request, I am submitting my resignation.
Since the day I was honored to be sworn in as Attorney General of the United States, I came to work at the Department of Justice every day determined to do my duty and serve my country. I have done so to the best of my ability, working to support the fundamental legal processes that are the foundation of justice.
The team we assembled embraced your directive to be a law and order Department of Justice. We prosecuted the largest number of violent offenders and firearm defendants in our country’s history. We took transnational gangs that are bringing violence and death across our borders and protected national security. We did our part to restore immigration enforcement. We targeted the opioid epidemic by prosecuting doctors, pharmacists, and anyone else who contributes to this crisis with new law enforcement tools and determination. And we have seen results. After two years of rising violent crime and homicides prior to this administration, those trends have reversed–thanks to the hard work of our prosecutors and law enforcement around the country.
I am particularly grateful to the fabulous men and women in law enforcement all over this country with whom I have served. I have had no greater honor than to serve along them. As I have said many times, they have my thanks and I will always have their backs.
More importantly, in my time as Attorney General we have restored and upheld the rule of law–a glorious tradition that each of us has a responsibility to safeguard. We have operated with integrity and have lawfully and aggressively advanced the policy agenda of this administration.
I have been honored to serve as Attorney General and have worked to implement the law enforcement agenda based on the rule of law that formed a central part of your campaign for the Presidency.
Following his insane post-midterms press conference, President Donald Trump fired U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions Wednesday (Nov. 7), forcing Sessions to immediately submit his resignation.
“At your request, I am submitting my resignation,” Sessions wrote in a letter to White House chief of staff John Kelly.
Sessions’ exit was expected for weeks amid Trump’s attacks over Sessions’ decision to rescue himself from the Justice Department’s inquiry into Russia’s meddling with the 2016 election.
With Sessions out, the attorney general’s chief of staff Matthew Whitaker will serve as interim attorney general.
Sessions’ departure comes after Trump’s intense press conference one day after the midterm elections, in which Democrats took back the House.
“I don’t have an attorney general. It’s very sad,” Trump said in an interview with Hill.TV in September. “I’m not happy at the border, I’m not happy with numerous things, not just this.”
Trump has attacked Sessions in interviews, tweets, and press conferences as “beleaguered” and often expressing “disappointment” in his attorney general.
So why aren't the Committees and investigators, and of course our beleaguered A.G., looking into Crooked Hillarys crimes & Russia relations?
Sessions recused himself from the probe in March 2017 for failing to disclose election-year meetings with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.
That – and Trump’s abrupt dismissal of FBI Director James Comey in May – prompted the appointment of former FBI Director Robert Mueller as the Justice Department’s special counsel to direct the inquiry.
With Whitaker at the helm, it was not immediately clear what it meant for Mueller’s future.
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who had been overseeing the probe, was at the White House Wednesday for what administration officials described as a previously scheduled meeting.
Who is interim Attorney General Matthew Whitaker?
Whitaker, a former football player in Iowa who rose there to become a federal prosecutor and chief of staff at the Justice Department, had been considered for a variety of jobs in the Trump administration.
Among Whitaker’s possible posts included No. 2 at Justice or as White House counsel. Whitaker had served as Sessions’ chief of staff since October 2017.
Whitaker, in a 2017 article published by CNN before joining the Justice Department, called on Rosenstein to “limit the scope” of Mueller’s investigation and block review of Trump’s family finances.
Whitaker also wrote a column for USA TODAY on July 5, 2016, that said he would have indicted Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee for president that year, for handling classified documents as secretary of State on a private email server.
How did Jeff Sessions react to the news of his firing?
In a resignation letter sent to the president, Sessions thanked Trump “for the opportunity” to be attorney general. He also listed what he considered his accomplishments during his tenure.
“Since the day I was honored to be sworn in as Attorney General of the United States, I came to work at the Department of Justice every day determined to do my duty and serve my country,” Sessions wrote. “I have done so to the best of my ability, working to support the fundamental legal processes that are the foundation of justice.”
What are the Democrats saying about Sessions’ ousting?
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., vowed to protect Mueller, saying it would create a constitutional crisis if Session’s departure were a prelude to ending, or greatly limiting, Mueller’s investigation.
“I find the timing very suspect,” Schumer said.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., called Trump’s move a clear effort to derail Mueller’s probe.
Following yesterday’s mid-term elections, Donald Trump held a press conference this morning that has been described by media outlets as “wild,” “off-the-rails” and “insane,” among many other things.
Trump—obviously pissed that the Democrats won control of the House—first called out each of the Republicans who lost in Tuesday’s (Nov. 6) midterms, saying they did “very poorly” and mocking them for failing to “embrace” him and his administration.
He also rambled about possible House investigations into his administration, talked crap about NAFTA, and bragged about how the United States has “the cleanest air.”
And then when it came time to answer questions from reporters, that’s when Trump really lost his sh*t.
Trump began taking questions and called on Acosta, who tried to ask about the president’s characterization of a migrant caravan of roughly 4,000 Central American immigrants who are walking through Mexico to claim asylum in the U.S.
Trump immediately interrupted Acosta as the journalist began to ask his question. “Here we go,” Trump said to Acosta.
Acosta then challenged Trump’s use of the word “invasion” to describe the caravan and asked the president if he thought he had demonized immigrants. Trump then said he wanted immigrants to “come in legally.”
When the president tried to go to another journalist, Acosta declined to give up the microphone and asked about possible indictments by special counsel Robert Mueller based on the ongoing investigation into Trump’s presidential campaign.
Trump told Acosta to “put down the mic” and a White House staffer tried to take the microphone from the CNN correspondent but he wouldn’t give it up.
Acosta finally relinquished the mic and sat down, but Trump then began to verbally berate him from the lectern.
“CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them,” Trump said. “You are a rude, terrible person. You shouldn’t be working for CNN.”
Trump added that the way Acosta had treated Press Secretary Sarah Sanders was “awful.”
The president then moved to address the next questioner, NBC News White House correspondent Peter Alexander, who defended Acosta.
“In Jim’s defense, I’ve traveled with him and watched him, he’s a diligent reporter who busts his butt like the rest of us,” Alexander said.
“Well I’m not a big fan of yours either,” Trump said.
Acosta then stood up and began speaking to the president off microphone, to which the president responded, “When you report fake news, which CNN does a lot, you are the enemy of the people.”
Ladies and gentlemen, this what happens when you elect an oversized toddler to be POTUS. I pray to God we as a country make better decisions 2 years from now in the 2020 elections.
Stacey Abrams, the Democratic candidate for Georgia governor, has decided to decline to concede the tight race to Republican rival Brian Kemp Wednesday (Nov. 7), telling her supports to expect a December 4th runoff election.
'We are still on the verge of history, and the best is yet to come.' — Stacey Abrams says she refuses to concede as the Georgia governor race remains too close to call pic.twitter.com/frR0u4nS34
Abrams, who if successful would become the first female African-American governor in U.S. history, has gained 48.3 percent of the votes, compared to Kemp’s 50.8 percent, at the time of reporting. Ted Metz, the Libertarian candidate, attracted 0.9 percent. But Abrams said that there are still more votes to be counted and that people should plan for a December 4 runoff election.
After a long night, Abrams pledged: “Georgia still has a decision to make. To all of Georgia’s voters, including the 1.2 million who haven’t shown up before, welcome aboard. If I wasn’t your first choice or if you made no choice at all you are going to have a chance to do a do-over.”
It has been a contentious and headline-grabbing race. In the state of Georgia, the top two candidates advance to a runoff if no candidate wins more than 50 percent of the vote. Kemp has, but Abrams said on Wednesday that “votes remain to be counted.”
“There are voices that are waiting to be heard,” she told supporters while taking to the podium this morning, in an address that was streamed to Facebook. “Across our state folks are opening up the dreams of voters in absentee ballots and we believe our chance for a stronger Georgia is just within reach. But we cannot seize it until all voices are heard and I promise you tonight we are going to make sure every vote is counted. Every single vote.”
Kemp, who is the secretary of state who also oversees elections, is hoping to remain in power. He is accused of voter suppression. A lawsuit, filed on Tuesday, attempted to ban Kemp from having any involvement in the counting of votes because of his allegedly “clear bias.” The suit was dismissed by Kemp’s office as a “twelfth-hour stunt.”
On Sunday, two days before the vote, Kemp claimed he was investigating a “failed attempt to hack the state’s voter registration system.” He alleged that it was somehow linked to the Democratic Party. In 2016, Kemp made a similar accusation, claiming that an intrusion attempt had been discovered on voting systems. The suggestion was widely-discredited.
In response, Abrams branded his hacking rhetoric a “desperate attempt” to distract voters. On Twitter today, her campaign wrote: “We will fight for every vote. The best is yet to come.”
DaBaby is now a free man and has so far not been charged for allegedly shooting and killing a man who reportedly tried to rob him at a Walmart store in Huntersville, NC.
The popular Charlotte, North Carolina-based rapper was released from jail Tuesday afternoon (Nov. 6) not even 24 hours after he reportedly shot and killed a man in self-defense at Walmart Monday evening.
In an Instagram post, DaBaby (whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk) announced his freedom and dispelled rumors that he was using the shooting incident to promote his recently released mixtape Blank Blank. He also offered his “condolences to the other parties involved.”
https://www.instagram.com/p/Bp2kRFxgO_Q/
Kirk was reportedly shopping near the produce section of Walmart when a man allegedly tried to rob him. Acting out of self-defense, the 26-year-old shot the man multiple times, killing him.
An officer doing a routine security check at the store heard the gunshots and took the rapper into custody without incident. The shooting victim, later identified by Huntersville police as 19-year-old Jalyn Domonique Craig, was pronounced dead on the scene.
A graphic photo of the shooting victim has been widely circulated on social media. It shows a man lying on the floor holding himself next to a pool of blood. A gun can also be seen near him in the photo.
Because he acted out of self-defense, it’s highly likely Kirk will not face any charges.
The Democrats have taken control of the House of Representatives while Republicans will control the Senate, NBC News reports.
Some of the key House races that allowed NBC News to call Democratic control of the House included Minnesota (3), Colorado (6), Florida (27), New York (11), Virginia (2), Texas (32) and Missouri (11).
Republicans will hold the Senate after Sen. Tred Cruz (R-Texas) defeated his Democratic opponent Beto O’Rouke, NBC News projected.
Because the Dems now control the House and the Repubs are in control of the Senate, the Democratic party has gained new power to challenge President Trump and sets up a divided Congress until the 2020 elections.
Juanita Barnes was removed from her duties as an assistant alternate election judge Tuesday (Nov. 6) after a black voter reported her for making a racist comment and assaulting her at a polling place in North Houston, Texas.
According to the Houston Chronicle, a black woman named Rolanda Anthony told police that Barnes approached her after she was having trouble with a dispute over her address.
Anthony was told that she had to fill out a form to clear up the matter, and that’s when Barnes started yelling that it was illegal to change her address on election day. As several voters looked on, Anthony said she told Barnes her address hadn’t changed.
Barnes, who is white, then told Anthony “Maybe if I’d worn my blackface makeup today you could comprehend what I’m saying to you,” according to Anthony and a witness.
Edith Randle, the presiding election judge overseeing the polling place, intervened, eventually told Barnes she was wrong and to get out of Anthony’s way. As Anthony and the poll worker filled out the form, Barnes approached her again and yelled at her.
When Anthony later told Barnes she was going to call police, Barnes walked up to her again and aggressively bumped her with her shoulder. Anthony said Barnes then said to her: “If you call the police, they’re going to take you to jail and do something to you, because I’m white.”
Barnes was relieved of her duties and left the building after sheriff’s deputies and two lawyers and an investigator from the Harris County Attorney’s office arrived to take reports from witnesses.
At least one of the poll workers quit in protest in response to Barnes’ actions, and another was in tears as she gave a statement to a sheriff’s deputy about the altercation.
Anthony said she believes the incident was a blatant attempt at voter suppression. “I feel like my vote today is more important than ever,” Anthony told The Chronicle.
“I think it’s really ridiculous and I think her purpose was to prevent me from voting,” Anthony said. “She did it egregiously. She did it because she wanted to prove that she had some kind of white supremacy over me. She did that purposely and intentionally to intimidate me, but I will not be intimidated.”
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said Barnes was given a Class C misdemeanor citation. Gonzales later tweeted: “Voters and poll workers should feel safe from harm while participating in our democratic process. We will not tolerate any form of violence or intimidation at the polls.”
Prestina Stuckey, a poll worker and daughter of Edith Randle, the election judge, said she left the polling site because she couldn’t stand to tolerate the abuse she said Barnes gave out to her mother and Anthony. “She had just been saying little stuff all day,” Stuckey said. “She was nitpicking all day.”
Anthony wrote about her experience in a Facebook post.
“I was racially profiled and disrespected, then threatened by a white lady working at the CHURCH where I’m voting,” she said, adding that Barnes was “relentless” as she followed her around the polling place and “[got] in her face.”
Good morning. I've just had to call the sheriff's at my voting location. I was racially profiled and disrespected, then…
“Good morning. I’ve just had to call the sheriff’s at my voting location. I was racially profiled and disrespected, then threatened by a white lady working at the CHURCH where I’m voting.
“This lady questioned my residency. When I explained that the address is completely correct, she told them to check it again because it couldn’t be. When I finally challenged her she declared, maybe if I wore my black face make up today you’d be able to understand me.
“After her atrocious statement I walked away, she was relentless she followed me throughout the voting location and got in my face not one but two times finally I had enough and said I’m calling the police.
“She had the audacity to say I’m white they’ll arrest you and charge you with a crime not me, haven’t you seen the news. Her name is Juanita Barnes and she’s the assistant election judge in Harris county precinct 1012. I’m currently awaiting the arrival of Harris county sheriff’s deputies.”
Anthony did confirm that she was able to vote despite all of the drama.
Voter intimidation is illegal, but it can often be hard to define or prove in a court of law.
The law is defined as any act of an individual that works to “intimidate, threaten, or coerce” a voter or voters. If convicted, you can face up to a year of jail time.
A California high school teacher was arrested after he was caught on video fighting a student in his classroom.
According to ABC 7, students in the class said an argument over a dress code violation led to the physical altercation between the teacher and the student.
Video footage from the confrontation at Maywood Academy High School in Maywood, CA went viral on social media last week.
#PressPlay: Teacher FIGHTS student after student disrespects him! ???Do you think the teacher was wrong for hitting the student?
After listening to the student hurl insults at him, the teacher swings at the student and punches him right in the face, and all hell breaks loose.
After all was said and done, the 14-year-old freshman student was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries and the teacher—later identified as 64-year-old Marston Riley—was arrested on suspicion of child abuse and causing great bodily injury.
Opinions on social media about the incident are divided. Some people who have watched the clip are on the teacher’s side, while others believe the teacher should have handled the situation differently. But a student at the school says both parties were responsible for the fight.
“I think it was both of their faults, like the teacher and the student,” said student Enrique Deharo. “I was scared for the kid, and partly for the teacher, too.”
“It was just back and forth, back and forth, and then the teacher just decided to throw a punch and that’s when everything happened,” another student said.
The video shows the student cursing at and antagonizing Riley while repeatedly using the n-word. The student even calls Riley a bitch at one point in the clip. The below video shows the student hitting Riley with a basketball.
A Black band teacher-Marston Riley was arrested after he defended himself from a hispanic student who hit him with a basketball, called him multiple epithets, & continued to threaten him. If this were a Black student, the kid would have been arrested & the teacher would be a hero pic.twitter.com/0KkQi3Zk2t
“I felt, like, a little bothered, because you know, it’s kind of racist,” student Ivan Valencia said.
As for parents, they’re divided on the issue. One mother said Mr. Riley was simply defending himself and was completely in the right.
Another woman said Riley is known for being aggressive.
“I think something needs to be done,” Miriam Guizar said. “That’s way out of hand. I don’t know what is the teacher’s problem. I know kids say stuff that they shouldn’t, but he should be accountable.”
“I’m shocked. Why did it have to escalate to this point?” one woman said. “I think something needs to be done. That’s way out of hand,” said another parent.
“I send my kids [to] school to learn, not to hit,” another parent remarked.
DaBaby—a popular rapper out of Charlotte, North Carolina—was reportedly involved in an altercation at a Walmart that led to the shooting death of another man.
The Charlotte Observer reports that a man was shot and killed Monday night (Nov. 5) around 6 p.m. in the Walmart on Bryton Town Center in Huntersville, NC. According to police, shots were fired in the aisles near the produce section.
Investigators said in a Facebook post that the shooting suspect was being questioned, along with “several people” who were arrested at the store “due to an altercation.”
It wasn’t clear if the altercation was connected to the shooting, and though the alleged shooter’s name hasn’t been revealed, Hip Hop Overload says police have confirmed to them it was Charlotte rapper DaBaby (not to be confused with Atlanta rapper Lil Baby).
A graphic photo of the shooting victim has been widely circulated on social media. It shows a man lying on the floor holding himself next to a pool of blood. A gun can also be seen near him in the photo.
“At this time there is no reason for the community to feel unsafe as we believe all responsible parties have been taken into custody,” the Facebook post read.
Huntersville Police Chief Cleveland Spruill said he couldn’t estimate how many customers were in the store when the shooting happened. “I think the official answer to that would be ‘a lot,'” he said.
An officer was doing a routine security check at the store “when he heard gunshots … and took an individual into custody,” said the Facebook post. The shooting victim, later identified by Huntersville police as 19-year-old Jalyn Domonique Craig, was pronounced dead on the scene.
“It’s very uncommon for that to happen,” Chief Spruill said. “We don’t have shootings inside of any retail store.”
The store was locked down immediately after the shooting so officers could speak to witnesses and anyone who may have been involved, Chief Spruill said. Officers obtained contact information from customers in the store before allowing them to leave, Spruill said.
According to online reports, DaBaby (whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk) shot Craig out of self-defense after the man tried to rob him.
“We just heard he got into an altercation with some rapper,” Craig’s friend, Jaden Major, told WSOCTV. “That’s what was going around on Instagram.”
Major said the death of his friend has been difficult to process.
“It hurt me, and it hurt a couple of his friends because they called me crying about it,” Major said.
One woman who said she was in the store at the time of the shooting told WBTV that customers screamed and ran for cover after hearing gunshots.
“I don’t want to be a sitting duck, so as soon as I saw the coast was clear, I just wanted to get my daughter out of there,” Denise Burton told the station. “With everything going on, you just don’t want to be sitting there.”
Walmart employee Christian Diaz said he rushed to get people out of the store’s back door when gunshots rang out just after 6 p.m. “We just heard a bunch of gunshots,” Diaz said.
Walmart released a statement about the shooting, saying: “We are deeply saddened by what has happened. We are thankful for the quick actions by the Huntersville Police Department and their arrest of those believed responsible for this crime. We are working closely with law enforcement. Since this is an active investigation, we will refer additional questions to them.”
It’s unclear if any charges will be filed against DaBaby.
“At this time, the Huntersville Police Department has identified all parties involved and are consulting with the District Attorney’s Office with what, if any, charges will be filed,” the HPD said in a statement.
DaBaby has since been released from police custody and posted a video on Instagram Tuesday night (Nov. 6) letting everyone know that the shooting was not a publicity stunt to promote his new mixtape.

This isn’t the first time DaBaby has been involved in a shooting incident. About a month ago, he was confronted by gang members and shots were fired with DaBaby standing his ground.
He also said in an interview with XXL that in the past, five armed, masked men ran into his house and he “legally shot somebody and they took off.”
DaBaby was also previously arrested back in July in Raleigh, NC for possession of a stolen firearm.
Before he became a rapper, DaBaby, who also goes by the name Baby Jesus, was in the streets. After becoming bored with that way of life in 2014, he started rapping.
He went viral in 2017 when he was spotted walking around SXSW in nothing but a diaper and tennis shoes.

DaBaby just released a new mixtape on November 2nd called Blank Blank. It’s actually really good and you should take a listen.
Kenya Moore is a mom for the first time at the age of 47 years old.
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star gave birth to a baby girl, Brooklyn Doris Daly, early Sunday morning (Nov. 4) about three weeks earlier than her due date, and her husband, Marc Daly, was by her side the whole time.
Kenya wasn’t due until around Thanksgiving, but she took to social media last week to announce that she would be delivering her baby a little earlier than expected because she had developed preeclampsia.
She shared a picture of her extremely swollen feet on Instagram on October 27th, writing: “I gained 17 lbs in ONE week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure, and excess protein in urine. This is NOT normal!”
According to People, Baby Brooklyn was born via emergency c-section at 9:39 a.m. ET and weighed in at five pounds, 12 ounces. This is Kenya and Marc’s first child together.
Kenya explained the meaning behind Brooklyn’s name to People, saying, “Brooklyn because that’s where we met and fell in love, and Doris after my grandmother who passed away last year and who raised me.”
Kenya and Marc just had a baby shower a few weeks ago on October 20th that was attended by a number of RHOA cast members, including Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams. Even Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant and Dr. Heavenly from Married to Medicine were there.
Noticeably absent from the festivities, however, was NeNe Leakes, who wrote on Instagram in response to the pictures: “OMG! You guys look so amazing! Congrats @thekenyamoore wish I could have been there #babydaly.”
NeNe also commented on a photo on The Jasmine Brand’s Instagram account, saying: “I’m just like OMG with all these beauties pictures! Kenya is the most beautiful pregnant woman i have ever seen! Shame on Bravo for not showing her amazing life this season. Never seen her look so happy.”
Meanwhile, fans on social media are hilariously pointing out how Kenya Moore ended up giving birth the same day of the RHOA Season 11 premiere. Whether or not that was done on purpose remains to be seen, but we certainly wouldn’t put it past Kenya aka the “Shade Queen.”
Peep the Twitter reactions below:

After the news broke of Angela Simmons’ ex-fiancé and baby daddy Sutton Tennyson being shot to death, the “Growing Up Hip Hop” star took to social media to share how heartbroken she was.
“Thank you for leaving behind my greatest gift,” she wrote on Instagram Sunday morning (Nov. 4) along with a few pictures of her, Sutton and their 2-year-old son. “I’m hurting. I’m numb. Thank you for the out pouring of love everyone. I can’t believe I’m even saying Rest In Peace Sutton. I promise to hold SJ down in every way I promise.”
As we previously reported, Sutton Tennyson was shot and killed Saturday (Nov. 3) at his home in Atlanta. Police said they responded to a “shots fired” called just before 5 p.m. Saturday, and when they arrived at Tennyson’s home, they found him dead in the garage with multiple gunshot wounds.
Authorities said the shooting was the result of an argument between Tennyson and another man, and not a home invasion as previously reported by several media outlets.
Tennyson and the alleged shooter were having a conversation, and things escalated to the point where Sutton was shot several times. Police said the man who shot Tennyson fled the scene and no arrests have been made.
Angela and Sutton started dating in 2015 and welcomed their son, Sutton Jr., in September 2016. The pair were engaged at the time of Sutton Jr.’s birth, however, just a little over a year later, in December 2017, Angela confirmed that the engagement was off.
According to Fox 5 Atlanta, police were dispatched to a home on the 600 block of Jewel Drive around 4:48 p.m. Saturday in response to calls about shots being fired.
Police said when they arrived at the home, they found a man dead in the garage with multiple gunshot wounds. The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office later identified the shooting victim as 37-year-old Sutton Tennyson.
Initial reports stated that the shooting was the result of a home invasion robbery, however, authorities have denied those reports, saying that the shooting happened after an argument between Tennyson and another man.
Tennyson and the alleged shooter were having a conversation, and things escalated to the point where Sutton was shot several times. Police said the man who shot Tennyson fled the scene and no arrests have been made.
Angela Simmons and Sutton Tennyson began dating in 2015 and welcomed their son, Sutton Jr., in September 2016.

The year 2019 will officially mark 20 years since Tyler Perry introduced Madea to the world. It will also be the year Tyler Perry kills off the hilarious, tough-talking, gun-toting character that everyone loves.
During a recent appearance on Bevy Smith’s Sirius XM show “Bevelations,” Tyler said he’s planning a farewell stage tour and will be releasing a film he shot two years ago called “A Madea Family Funeral” in 2010 to finally end the character.
“It’s time for me to kill that old bitch, I’m tired man,” Perry said on Monday (Oct. 29). “I just don’t want to be her age playing her.”
Perry also confirmed the news in an interview with Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show.
“It’s time for me to bury that old broad man,” Perry told Fallon Tuesday night (Oct. 30). “I’m sick of that old bitch”
Madea, a character Perry has said was based on his own mother, as well as Eddie Murphy’s performance in “Nutty Professor II: The Klumps,” was first introduced in Perry’s 1999 play “I Can Do Bad All By Myself.”
Madea—whose “real name” is Mabel Simmons—is known for her comical and vulgar language, and she also has an extensive rap sheet that was highlighted in the 2009 film “Madea Goes to Jail,” which was based off Perry’s 2006 play of the same name.
The Madea film franchise spans 10 installments and has earned more than $500 million worldwide, despite some criticism that the character is a stereotype of black women.
While Perry didn’t reveal whether the funeral in the upcoming film would be for Madea herself, it can only be assumed that she will die in the movie considering his comment saying he’s ready to “kill that old bitch.”
Each and every year, celebrities prove that they’re (kinda sorta) just like us by dressing up for Halloween. And it’s always fun to see who went as what, especially since celebs have extra money in their bank accounts to make their costumes stand out and look as authentic as possible.
From Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s tribute to black Olympic athletes to Heidi Klum going all out (per usual) with her Princess Fiona costume, here are our favorite celebrity Halloween looks from 2018!
Police say at least two people are dead and at least six others were wounded after a gunman open fired Friday (Nov. 2) at a yoga studio in Tallahassee, Florida.
Police reportedly received a call around 5:37 p.m. of a shooting at the Hot Yoga Tallahassee studio and found multiple gunshot victims when they arrived at the small shopping center where the yoga studio is located.
The gunman killed one person and wounded four others before he shot and killed himself, police said.
Police Chief Michael DeLeo told reporters that the six wounded were being treated at local hospitals.
One person was in critical condition, three were serious and two were in good condition, according to Danielle Buchanan, spokeswoman for Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.
“The suspect is deceased and one victim has passed away at the hospital,” DeLeo said.
The Tallahassee Democrat reported that Alex Redding, a customer at a nearby bar, said several people came inside seeking assistance, saying a tall man with a beard had been acting strangely inside the Hot Yoga Studio and then began shooting during a class.
Redding said a man with blood on his head told patrons at the bar he tried to stop the shooter, but he was pistol-whipped before the shooter turned the gun on himself.
Authorities believe the gunman acted alone and there wasn’t an immediate threat to the Tallahassee community. Officials didn’t give a motive for the attack or any details about the shooter.
“All evidence points to a single actor who has stayed on scene and is deceased at this time so there is no additional threat to the public,” DeLeo said.
A source said there were 11 people signed up for the 5:30 p.m. hot yoga flow class and one canceled earlier in the day. The class instructor was reportedly uninjured in the shooting.
Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum, the Democratic nominee for state governor, said he stopped campaigning to return to the city.
“I’m deeply appreciative of law enforcement’s quick response to the shooting at the yoga facility in Tallahassee today,” Gillum tweeted. “No act of gun violence is acceptable. I’m in close communication with law enforcement officials and will be returning to Tallahassee tonight.”

Megan Nixon was eating downstairs at Riccardo’s Restaurant when she heard something going on upstairs. “We heard pop, pop, pop. It sounded intense. It didn’t sound like gunshots,” she said.
About 30 seconds later, Nixon said she saw two young women run into a bar next door, then she saw a man, covered in blood, run in.
Nixon said the restaurant’s owner locked the door to protect those inside. She said she didn’t understand the events that interrupted what was supposed to be a family night out.
“It’s terrible,” Nixon told the Tallahassee Democrat. “They’re in a yoga studio trying to relax.”
City Commissioner Scott Maddox was among the officials who immediately rushed to the scene of the shooting. “In my public service career, I have had to be on some bad scenes. This is the worst. Please pray,” he posted on Facebook.
Nicki Minaj and Cardi B have either squashed their beef or simply pressed the pause button after sparring online Monday (Oct. 29).
Following their Harper’s Bazaar incident in September, in which Cardi threw a shoe at Nicki and walked away with a knot on her forehead (either from security or Rah Ali, as Nicki later claimed), both parties have continued to toss jabs back and forth, whether it be on wax or social media posts.
But following a recent episode of Nicki’s Beats 1 “Queen Radio” show, Nicki appeared to make a truce to end her beef with Cardi—or at least stop talking about it all the time.
On “Queen Radio” Monday, the “Chun-Li” rapper alleged that Cardi, 26, blocked husband Offset and rapper 21 Savage from collaborating with her on a “Krippy Kush” remix, an accusation — among many others — that Cardi vehemently denied in a series of Instagram videos that night.
“You wanna talk about how I wanted to be on the ‘Krippy Kush’ remix and I wanted to stop your bag? Sis, what are you talking about?” Cardi said, adding that Minaj, 35, turned down a feature on G-Eazy‘s “No Limit,” then got mad at her managers when Cardi’s verse on it contributed to the song becoming a hit.
Elsewhere in Minaj’s broadcast, she said Rah Ali was the one who gave Cardi the knots on her head during the infamous brawl at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party, sniping, “Rah really, really beat Cardi’s a** bad. Rah beat you so bad that I was mad at Rah. You went home and told people security hit you, and we let that ride for legal reasons. Anybody that wanna pull up the surveillance footage, I will give you $100,000.”
Cardi responded to that as well, snapping, “How [are] you saying I got ragged by Rah Ali when there’s so many footages [sic] of that night, every single angle, and where am I getting ragged at? … How you say that I’m the wild animal, that I attacked you, that you was mortified, that you was humiliated, playing the victim but now you a gangsta?” She added, “First you say that your cameraman got the footage, but now you talkin’ about you wanna pay somebody $100,000 if they got the footage?”
The “I Like It” rapper also threatened to sue Minaj for defamation of character due to Minaj’s payola claims.
Cardi also claimed that she actually helped Minaj get work, saying she turned down a deal with Diesel that eventually went to Minaj because she had other fashion endorsements (including Fashion Nova), and that she turned down a feature on Little Mix‘s “Woman Like Me,” which also went to Minaj — and she came with receipts, including emails from Diesel and a “Woman Like Me” track with no rap verse over the instrumentals.
Little Mix, however, responded with an Instagram story claiming that they wanted Minaj to be on the song all along, which Minaj relished in on her own Twitter account.
Minaj and Cardi’s beef dates back to the release of Migos‘ “MotorSport,” after which Minaj accused Cardi of disrespecting her and making her cry. Cardi denied dissing Minaj, saying Minaj was the one who hurt her feelings and allegedly attempted to sabotage her career and use her fans (called Barbz) to attack her.
The feud appeared to hit its apex when the ladies and their entourages got into a melee at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party at New York Fashion Week in which Cardi hurled a shoe at Minaj.
By later Monday evening, however, it appeared the rappers quashed their beef … for now.
“Ok you guys, let’s focus on positive things only from here on out. We’re all so blessed,” Minaj tweeted. “I know this stuff is entertaining & funny to a lot of people but I won’t be discussing this nonsense anymore. Thank you for the support & encouragement year after year. Love you.”
Cardi posted a screenshot of Minaj’s tweet, remarking, “Alright then! Let’s keep it positive and keep it pushing!”

It sure does look like the beef between Nicki and Cardi has been squashed, but you never can tell with these two. Nicki’s already being accused of coming for Cardi in her new song with Tyga.
Do you think Nicki Minaj and Cardi B’s beef is finally over?
The viral photo was actually staged by a group of YouTubers known as The Yes Theory using a Justin Bieber lookalike. The pranksters first planned a fake video of the Bieber impersonator helping an old woman across the street, but that one failed to go viral. They had better luck with their idea of Bieber eating a burrito like a weirdo.
The pranksters finally published a YouTube video explaining how they did it, and it wasn’t a small enterprise. They actually flew a Justin Bieber lookalike from Canada to Los Angeles and meticulously studied the real Bieber’s look. They made sure that the fake Bieber was wearing long pants and a sweatshirt because the real Bieber has quite a few tattoos. They even bought a wig to make the fake Bieber’s hair look closer to the real thing.
The explainer video is actually an interesting look at how to stage a viral prank. The pranksters tried to post the burrito photo to Reddit but were thwarted by the fact that they tried to post it on r/Pics, a huge community, and nobody noticed. But when they posted the image to a smaller sub, r/MildlyInfuriating, the photo finally made waves.
Paper magazine was one of the first mainstream publications to write about the photo and from there it spread everywhere from Cosmopolitan to Vanity Fair. It even reached highly respected mainstream news outlets like the BBC and plenty of morning news TV shows commented on Bieber’s burrito-eating techniques. The internet helped it spread, but this photo was basically made for light-hearted TV news shows.
The pranksters talked to a number of different news outlets and kept up the charade by pretending that they just happened to capture the image in a West Hollywood park. So it’s not like this was a simple misunderstanding. They deliberately set out to prank the internet and succeeded beyond their wildest expectations.
But just as quickly as the photo went viral, it’s also being debunked with incredible speed. The question, of course, is how many people who saw the first photo will see the debunker.
Apparently, however, there’s at least one person out there who knew something was off the whole time.
In the comment section of a video about the prank on Justin’s manager Scooter Braun’s Instagram, Katy Perry wrote: “I knew it wasn’t [him] the hair was too clean.”
The day has finally arrived. Takeoff’s solo debut “The Last Rocket” was released Friday (Nov. 2), and Twitter couldn’t be more excited about it.
Last week, the Migos rapper—viewed by many as the group’s sharpest lyricist—teased fans with the release of his debut solo single “Last Memory” along with its video, and now, everyone can finally hear what Takeoff has been cooking up behind the scenes.
