Beyoncé Dressed Up As “Phoni Braxton” for Halloween, and Toni Braxton Loved It

Before Halloween even came, Beyoncé already owned the holiday.

On October 30th, a whole 24 hours before the rest of the world would dress up for Halloween, Queen Bey channeled Toni Braxton by recreating the R&B icon’s self-titled 1993 debut album cover.

Bey shared a number of photos on Instagram showing her dressed up as Braxton, complete with an off-the-shoulder black leather jacket, a white tank top, high-waisted jeans with a gold chain belt and a black pixie wig.

She called herself “Phoni Braxton,” a play on Toni Braxton’s name and also recreated the artwork for “Another Sad Love,” the first single from Toni’s debut album. To say that she slayed would be a complete understatement.

“Sending love and adoration to one of our talented legends,” Beyoncé wrote in the caption of one of the photos on IG. “Thank you for the countless bops. Your tone, your beauty, your range, and your God-given talent is treasured. Loving you always. Have a Happy Halloween my Kings and Queens.”

Braxton was flattered that Beyoncé chose to pay homage to her. After seeing the images, the 51-year-old wrote on Twitter: “Phoni Braxton!? NEVER!!! How do you look better than me on MY album cover? I LOVE IT, Such a superstar! Thanks for the love sis!”

This isn’t the first time Beyoncé has paid homage to a black female performer for Halloween.

Just last year, she dressed up as Lil Kim (above), and back in 2014, she rocked the hell out of a Janet Jackson Rhythm Nation-inspired costume (below).

We can’t wait to see who decides to pay homage to for Halloween 2019!

Missouri Nurse Fired Over “Beyoncé” Blackface Halloween Costume

A nurse in Kansas, Missouri found out the hard way that blackface is NOT okay.

Shelbi Elliott-Heenan—a registered nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital in Lee’s Summit, Missouri—was fired from her job after photos of her dressed in blackface for what she called a Beyoncé costume went viral on social media. The photos were initially shared by Elliott-Heenan herself on Facebook.

The costume showed Elliott-Heenan covered head to toe in brown makeup along with her husband Jasmond Heenan, who appeared to be in more minstrel-like blackface. Heenan’s husband reportedly has a job with Costco.

In whose alabaster-ass, Megyn Kelly-fied, Jesus-is-a-white-man world is this Beyoncé Has this woman actually ever seen Beyoncé? Any version of Beyoncé? Because whatever this hot mess of shoe polish, low-grade acrylic, and black Uggs with a dash of sequins is, it’s most decidedly not a Beyoncé. It’s just Becky with the blackface.

The whole thing was just awful and shouldn’t have been done, blackface or not. I mean, honestly, it’s hard to even be offended because, MY GOD, those were just AWFUL costumes.

A woman reached out to St. Luke’s hospital Monday (Oct. 29) to let them know that one of their employees was out here wearing blackface and posting it on social media, and Shelbi Heenan was fired by lunchtime, KCTV reports.

In a statement obtained by KCTV, St. Luke’s wrote: “On Monday afternoon, Saint Luke’s Health System became aware of a Saint Luke’s East Hospital employee who posted photos on personal social media accounts of her and another individual dressed in blackface for what appears to be a Halloween event. This information was shared with appropriate health system personnel and an investigation was initiated immediately.”

The statement continued: “While it is against Saint Luke’s policy to comment on specific personnel matters, we can confirm that this individual is no longer a Saint Luke’s employee. Saint Luke’s is deeply committed to our culture of diversity and inclusion. It is fundamental to who we are as an organization and we vigorously protect it on behalf of all our patients and employees and expect those who represent us to do the same.”

Heenan’s well-deserved firing coincidentally (or not) comes amid reports of Megyn Kelly losing her job after making ignorant comments defending the use of blackface in Halloween costumes. And just last week, we reported on a first-grade Idaho teacher being “investigated” for wearing blackface to a Halloween party.

What the hell is it going to take for these white people to realize that wearing blackface isn’t OKAY?

Dr. Makini King with the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s Diversity and Inclusion Division says those particular kinds of white people need to simply be taught the history of blackface, because the issue may not be racism, just pure ignorance. Basically, if they knew better, they would (hopefully) do better.

“We need to do better at teaching history and we also need to be more integrated,” King said. We need to encourage relationships with people who are not like us and that’s a very deliberate thing, It has to be done. It doesn’t just happen because you know you’re a good person … people have to deliberately form relationships with other people so that they have better information about other people’s cultures what’s appropriate and what’s not and then also they get to humanize other people.”

King said simply firing people isn’t always the best solution, but instead using the instances as an opportunity to start a dialogue and get educated.

“We have to be able to make the repairs in order to be progressive in creating justice. It can’t just be punished and then the conversation is over,” she said.

Mugshot Madness: Father & Daughter Arrested for Incest After Their Baby Died

A father and daughter pair from South Carolina were both arrested on charges of incest after the woman gave birth to a baby by her own father that later died.

The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office says 20-year-old Katlyn Lauren Edwards and her 38-year-old father James Travis Brown were engaged in an unnatural sexual relationship, which resulted in Edwards being impregnated by Brown and the eventual birth of a child.

After the baby boy died at a medical facility in Charleston, Edwards was arrested and charged with incest.

Brown, who is already in jail in another county on unrelated charges, will reportedly be transferred to the Johnson Detention Center in Laurens County after he’s released to face his own incest charges.

The infant’s cause of death was heart failure, likely due to complications related to what authorities said was a “consensual and mutual relationship.”

Michael Polson, an investigator with the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office, said that Edwards “left her husband to be with [her father].”

Polson added that Edwards accused her father of sexually abusing her, but said there was “no evidence of that,” and she even at one point said their sexual relationship was consensual.

Polson told People: “All evidence points to the relationship. It doesn’t point to abuse. And then she’s admitted it was consensual.” Polson said Brown also “admitted [the sexual relationship]” and said he felt that his daughter was in love with him.

Investigators said they found evidence to support the claims of a mutual sexual relationship.

Polson says that during Edwards’ childhood, her father was “in and out of her life.” He adds the two “have a troubled past, but she was 20 years old when she decided to do all this. She wasn’t a child.” Polson would not elaborate further on what he meant by “troubled past.”

In October 2017, Polson says, Edwards “left her husband. She moved in with her father and then they got pregnant together in January 2018. They continued communicating until July, and then it ended. She started seeing another guy.”

“She wanted [Brown] to stop and be her daddy,” Polson says. “She wanted [Brown] to be a father figure to her.” According to Polson, the sheriff’s office has handled incest cases before, but this one is unique. “It’s usually a victim saying a family member close to them forced sex on them. It’s rare to have one to say, ‘We had consensual sex and we got pregnant,’” Polson says.

Polson says the baby’s death certificate says he died from heart failure. After speaking with doctors, investigators believe the circumstances of the child’s birth were related to his death. “Anytime in an incest situation, sometimes the inside of the body doesn’t work right,” Polson says, citing doctors.

“It is beyond my comprehension how this could take place between a father and daughter. At this time, I can’t confirm the baby died from complications related to incest, however we wonder if that’s the case,” said Laurens County Sheriff Don Reynolds. “We are working with medical professionals and the Solicitors Office regarding that aspect of the investigation and will update everyone if there are any additional charges.”

YouTuber Chris Sails Arrested for Allegedly Beating Parker McKenna Posey From “My Wife and Kids” & Giving Her a Black Eye

Parker McKenna Posey, a 23-year-old actress best known for playing the daughter of Damon Wayans and Tisha Campbell-Martin on the hit sitcom “My Wife and Kids,” is accusing her ex-boyfriend, YouTube star Chris Sails, of beating her—which landed Sails in jail last week.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Parker told prosecutors that Sails became upset with her after he saw a DM (Direct Message) from another man on her phone. Parker claims Sails beat her up so badly that she thought she was going to die.

The alleged incident happened last month in the former couple’s apartment. Parker says Chris, who is also 23 years old, punched her repeatedly, slapped her in the face, and choked her while slamming her head on the ground.

Parker called the police, and when they got there, they saw that she had a black eye and cuts on her neck. She reportedly told police that she had been attacked by a woman who was visiting their home, but two weeks later, she recanted her story and told police that Sails was the one who beat her up.

Chris was arrested for assault and taken into police custody on Thursday, October 25th. He bonded out of a Houston jail by Friday, the Houston Chronicle reports.

Photos from the incident showing Posey with a black eye and bruises hit social media back in September, however, the story wasn’t confirmed at the time. Her mother and sisters all spoke about allegations that she had been involved in a domestic altercation with Sails, who responded by saying he acted in self-defense.

Parker and Chris began dating after Chris divorced his wife, singer Queen Naija, back in April amid a very public cheating scandal.

Chris and Queen share a 3-year-old son, Chris Jr. It’s unclear if they were ever involved in any domestic abuse incidents.

This isn’t Chris’ first brush with the law either. He was arrested along with three other men back in July for impersonating police officers after they were caught pulling over motorists for a YouTube prank.

Blac Chyna’s mom Tokyo Toni really wants to see her granddaughter Dream Kardashian, and she’s using a highly unconventional method of getting her request heard.

Instead of reaching out to her own daughter privately, Tokyo Toni is reaching out to Dream’s father, Rob Kardashian, and because she doesn’t have his direct contact information, she’s reaching out publicly via social media.

“Hey Rob, this is me Tokyo,” the 46-year-old said in a video she posted on Instagram. “Unfortunately things still haven’t changed since we last spoke, obviously. As far as Chyna is concerned things still haven’t gotten better since the last time you told social media about it. ‘Is it any way possible that you could let me see Dream through FaceTime or send a video to my DM or anything?”

She continued: “I don’t even know how the baby sound[s]. It’s absolutely ludicrous. But this is the only way I can get through to you I don’t have any numbers for anybody any more.”

It seemed things between Blac Chyna and her mom had gotten better after Chyna wished Tokyo a Happy Birthday on her IG stories on October 8th. This was just a little over two months after Tokyo (real name: Shalana Jones-Hunter) went off on Chyna via social media and called her a “statutory rape baby.”

“Blac Chyna, the name I gave you was Angela Renee. The disrespect that you have been giving me for the past quite a few years, I’ve tolerated it because I’m your mama, you the only child. But you better keep in mind I’m a bad bitch,” Tokyo said on Instagram Live on July 31st. “You know exactly who you f***in’ with. That’s why every chance you motherf***in get, bitch, you breathe my whole motherf***in name… You was a statutory rape baby.”

And just a few days before that, she was begging Amber Rose for help to see her grandchildren—so her reaching out to Rob is not the first time she’s contacted someone close to Blac Chyna to get in touch with her grandkids.

“Hey @amberrose you are the only person that I know that knows my daughter who does not fear her. Can you do me a favor if it’s anywhere deep in your heart can you please tell her I said let me see those kids! I’m so very sorry to come at you in this way on social media but there’s no other way. You are a Libra Amber and you know where I’m going with this,” Toni wrote on Instagram. “I have not seen these kids and she’s punishing me for nothing!”

“I really don’t care if she never speaks to me again honestly deep in my heart could care less. Can you do me a favor somehow someway relay this message to her. Tell her you can’t do this I didn’t do it to you. Tell her I said chillout look in the mirror step back and act accordingly,” Toni continued. “You are the only person that I know of her friends that is not fake.”

Now, months later, Tokyo is reaching out to Rob because she probably knows that Blac Chyna and Amber Rose are no longer friends.

Here’s a thought: Maybe Blac Chyna doesn’t want her children around someone—grandmother or not—who refers to their own daughter as a “statutory rape baby” and airs out all of their grievances on a public platform?

“Superfly” Actor & Rapper Kaalan Walker Facing 9 Felony Sexual Assault Charges

Kalaan “KR” Walker, an actor/rapper best known for his role in the movie “Superfly,” was hit with nine felony sexual assault charges Tuesday (Oct. 23) after he was arrested in September for allegedly sexually assaulting a number of internet models.

According to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department, Walker is accused of luring aspiring models through social media under the premise of being hired for professional work, and when he gets them alone, he instead takes advantage of them sexually. Police said the series of sexual assaults all took place in Los Angeles County.

Walker was arraigned at the Northwest District of the Los Angeles Superior Court and was held on $1,000 bail. His charges include five counts of forcible rape, three counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object, and one count of forcible oral copulations.

It’s unclear whether there may be any more victims, but the LAPD has asked that the public come forward with any information relevant to the case.

“The Los Angeles Police Department Van Nuys Area is asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to locating additional victims of suspect Kaalan R. Walker,” the LAPD’S news release reads.

Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooter Robert Bowers Said “All Jews Need to Die” Before Opening Fire at Tree of Life Congregation

A 48-year-old man named Robert Bowers has been identified as the lone gunman who opened fire at a Pittsburgh synagogue in the city’s Squirrel Hill neighborhood Saturday morning (Oct. 27).

There were reportedly close to 100 people inside the Tree of Life Congregation Synagogue during a prayer service at the time of the shooting.

As many as 12 people were shot at the scene, including three police officers. Of the 12 shot, at least 8 are confirmed dead.

Bowers, a resident of Pittsburgh, allegedly yelled “all these Jews need to die” during the attack.

Before entering the synagogue, Bowers wrote on the social media site Gab, “HIAS likes to bring invaders in that kill our people. I can’t sit by and watch my people get slaughtered. Screw your optics. I’m going in.” (FYI: HIAS is the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society.)

According to the Associated Press, the shooting took place during a baby naming ceremony.

Robert Bowers was armed with multiple handguns, including an AR-15 style rifle, and was shot by police.

According to NBC News, Bowers shot at police and was shot at least once by police during the exchange of gunfire at the synagogue. After his standoff with police, Bowers was reportedly crawling due to the injuries he sustained in the gunfire exchange.

After Bowers was apprehended by police, he was taken to the hospital and is undergoing treatment.

The synagogue’s former president, Michael Eisenberg, told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that the shooting took place on the third floor of the building. Eisenberg said there is usually a child’s class on that floor but it had been canceled on the day of the attack.

“It’s a very horrific crime scene. One of the worst that I’ve seen and I’ve been on some plane crashes. It’s very bad,” Pittsburgh public safety director Wendell Hissrich said during an emotional press conference briefing.

A gunman opened fire on a Jewish synagogue in Pittsburgh’s Squirrel Hill neighborhood Saturday morning (Oct. 27) during a prayer service, and 11 people were confirmed dead, CBS Pittsburgh reports.

At least two officers were also shot during the incident at Tree of Life Congregation. The shooter, later identified as 48-year-old Robert Bowers, surrendered and was taken into custody.

According to police, the shooter walked into the synagogue and said “All Jews need to die.” When cops arrived, the gunman started shooting at them.

Bowers was reportedly armed with an AR-15 and three handguns.

The initial 911 call was made around 9:54 a.m. and officers arrived on the scene within a minute. Two officers observed Bowers carrying an assault-style weapon, and he then opened fire on the two cops before retreating back into the building.

One of the officers suffered a gunshot wound to the hand while the other officer suffered several abrasions to his face from shrapnel and broken glass.

Pittsburgh SWAT officers arrived on scene, formed a small team and entered the building. Upon entering the building officers observed the devestation. SWAT medics carried two victims, one male and one female, outside of the building. The victims were transported to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital for treatment.

Officers began searching the third floor of the synagogue when they encountered Bowers again, who opened fire on the SWAT team. One officer was shot multiple times and critically wounded and another officer was also shot multiple times by Bowers. The remaining SWAT officers engaged Bowers while the two injured officers were carried outside to Pittsburgh Paramedics.

Bowers was injured in the exchange of gunfire. After being taken into custody, the suspect made statements to an officer that he wanted all Jews to die and also that Jews were committing genocide on his people, according to authorities.

It is believed that Bowers acted alone.

White Teacher Investigated for Wearing Blackface to Halloween Party

I feel like in the year 2018 (hell, it’s almost 2019), the following statement should just go without saying, and every single person should have it ingrained into their subconscious: doing blackface isn’t cool. Like, stop. Just stop.

Well, apparently that lesson hasn’t fully sunk in for some people, because an Iowa teacher is currently under investigation after she attended a Halloween party rocking blackface. And that lady is Megan Luloff, a first-grade teacher at Walcott Elementary in Walcott, Iowa.

According to reports, Luloff (who is now being referred to as Megan the Minstrel) showed up to the Walcott American Legion’s “Boos Bash” rocking an outfit that was supposed to be Lafawnduh, a black character from the movie Napoleon Dynamite.

What’s even worse is it was a group costume with a handful of her friends also dressing as characters from the movie, and not a single one of them took a moment to stop and say, “Hey, maybe this isn’t cool, Megan.”

Instead, they all nodded and went along with it, and now look where we are.

“It’s sad,” said Vera Kelly, president of the MetroCom NAACP Unit 4019, Davenport. “It takes me back to when I was a little girl. You would think people wouldn’t have that type of mindset now.”

Because of the incident, Luloff is under investigation and her picture has been removed from the school’s website. What makes this whole thing even worse, though, is that the school she teaches at is currently under strict supervision by the state of Iowa for discriminating against minority students.

This is because the district reportedly placed a disproportionate number of non-white students in special education classes and disciplined minority students more frequently and handed out harsher punishments than it did to white students.

Linda Hayes, the woman responsible for overseeing the solution to this issue, said, “I cannot clearly articulate how offensive and appalling it is to people of color. In light of our recent developments within the district, this was in very poor taste, not to mention totally out of line with regard to professionalism.”

The district itself has also issued a statement, reading, “The district was very recently made aware of these images of a district employee at a non-school related event, and an internal investigation is currently ongoing…This situation is not taken lightly by any member of the board. The district will determine how to best address the matter after further investigation.”

You know who hasn’t made a statement? Megan the Minstrel. What a shocker, right?

Tekashi 6ix9ine Gets Probation Instead of Jail Time in Child Sex Case

Tekashi 6ix9ine scored a MAJOR victory in court Friday (Oct. 26) after a judge gave him four years probation (as his attorneys requested) instead of sending him to jail for his child sex case.

CBS News reports:

Judge Felicia A. Mennin handed down the sentence Friday, ordering Hernandez to refrain contact with gang members and must not be arrested during the probationary period. If he is found in violation of the plea agreement, he could face 1 to 4 years in prison.

In May 2015, Hernandez was arrested after video surfaced of him engaging in sexual acts with a girl at a party in Harlem. He was 18 years old at the time.

That October, he pleaded guilty to one count of using a child in a sexual performance. He took a plea agreement that required him to obtain his GED and complete mental health treatment for 2 years.

The agreement also prohibits Hernandez from posting any sexually explicit images of women or children and any images of violence against women or children to his social media accounts.

According to TMZ, when Judge Mennin gave Tekashi his sentence, the courtroom—which was filled with the rapper’s entourage—”erupted in cheers.”

Immediately following his sentencing, Tekashi spoke to the judge directly and “embraced his government name,” TMZ reported, saying that he’s Daniel Hernandez and not his rap persona Tekashi 69.

The rapper said: “I have millions of youth that look at me as a role model and the last place I want to be is incarcerated, they don’t deserve it. Thank you.”

The judge reportedly gave Tekashi credit for one year, so he only has three years of probation left and will not have to serve the full four years. Among the conditions of his probation, he was ordered to perform at least 1,000 hours of community service, not associate himself with any gang members and refrain from participating in any gang activity.

Tekashi nearly lost his freedom after he violated the conditions of an agreement he had with the judge to not get into any legal trouble.

The rapper previously wrote a letter to the judge claiming that his two arrests for assaulting an officer in Brooklyn and attacking a fan at a mall in Houston didn’t constitute a violation of his plea deal.

Tekashi’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro, even argued on his behalf that both arrests occurred long after the October 2017 deadline on his plea deal and he should only get four years probation and be ordered to participate in a youthful offenders program. Prosecutors recommended he get 1 to 3 years prison time, but the judge ultimately gave him probation.

A rep for Tekashi, err, we mean DANIEL, told TMZ that he “understands what he must now do moving forward and we will be with him every step of the way. We also want to thank the judge for being very fair and impartial.”

Christina Milian Allegedly Involved in Bar Brawl, Accused of Throwing Drink at Bouncer

Christina Milian somehow found herself involved in an altercation with a bouncer at a bar at a hotel in downtown Los Angeles Tuesday night (Oct. 23).

The whole thing was reportedly sparked after the bouncer blocked Christina and a friend from entering the hotel bar, and things got so heated at one point during the “brawl” that the singer/actress threw a drink at the bouncer. YIKES.

According to TMZ:

Christina and a group of women, including “WAGs” star Nicole Williams, hit up the Figueroa Hotel in downtown L.A. Tuesday night after attending the Bruno Mars concert. Witnesses tell us they were trying to get to the bar off the lobby, but the bouncer threw up a partial stop sign because it was after last call.

What’s odd is, we’re told he let in Nicole and few others before fully blocking the singer/actress and one other friend. One witness claims one of the friends who was inside reached to open a gate, Christina threw a drink at the bouncer, and then things got outta hand. We’re told he tried to grab Christina, but 2 guys stepped in and the fight started.

Christina’s camp tells us a different story — that the hotel manager told the group they could enter the bar, and when the bouncer started getting aggressive … Nicole left to go find that manager. They deny Christina threw anything, and claim the bouncer actually struck one of her friends during the standoff.

When it was clear he wasn’t budging they called an Uber and left. Christina’s people say the bouncer actually followed them down the street as they walked to meet their ride.

As for the fight — Christina’s peeps say the guys involved were not with her. Law enforcement sources tell us LAPD responded, but no word if anyone filed a report.

A rep for the Figueroa says the fight “was unfortunate and was diffused by hotel staff and security to the very best of their ability.”

Well damn. Lemme found out Christina a whole goon outchea!

But you do NOT, and I repeat, YOU DO not, take a bite out of a burrito from the middle. Unless you’re some sort of monster or something.

Suspected Mail Bomber Cesar Sayoc Once Called Donald Trump the “Greatest Commander in Chief”

A South Florida man was arrested Friday morning (Oct. 26) in connection to the string of mail bombs sent to prominent Democrats this week. That man is 56-year-old Cesar Sayoc, Jr. of Aventura, Florida. And the details that have emerged since his arrest are just as crazy as you’d imagine.

So what’s the first thing we learned? Well, unsurprisingly (considering he was targeting democratic politicians and CNN in his mail bombs), Sayoc was an avid supporter of President Donald Trump, even claiming that Trump is the “Greatest Commander Chief.”

His social media profiles were littered with pro-Trump and anti-Democrat posts and pictures, and he was apparently very excited about the upcoming “red wave” that he believed would take place in the upcoming midterm elections. Here’s just a few from his now-deleted profiles.

He was very happy to celebrate Trump’s birthday, apparently.

And here he is at what Trump claimed was the biggest-ever presidential inauguration.

And here he is proudly sporting the now-famous red “Make America Great Again” ball caps.

Again, none of this is entirely surprising. If someone is intentionally targeting left-leaning people and organizations, it wouldn’t be a leap to think that he also supports Donald Trump. So what else have we learned?

Sayoc was also the owner of a very creepy white van (is there really any other kind of white van besides creepy, though?) and might have lived in it at one time. The van (pictured below) is plastered with pro-Trump, anti-CNN, and “conspiratorial” stickers.

After seeing the van being towed on TV, a local Floridian, David Cypkin, realized he recognized the van, telling The New York Times he often saw that van parked at a local strip mall.

“It struck me because of the crazy conspiratorial stickers covering the windows,” Cypkin said. “It was unsettling, and also it seemed to be occupied. Sometimes the door would be ajar or a window would be open, which indicated to me that maybe somebody was living in the van.”

Now, again, creepy guy sending off bombs in the mail potentially living in a creepy white van? Not the hardest thing to believe. So what else do you got, Sayoc?

Well, according to his Twitter profile, Sayoc was a former professional soccer player, wrestler, and cage fighter.

A former associate of his, Justin Humberger, also said that he had been told Sayoc played college soccer. Now while I couldn’t find any proof that Sayoc played either professional or college soccer, the fighting part, well, I might believe that. I mean the dude’s got some guns for arms, so it could be true.

So what is the ultimately weirdest thing that has come out about Sayoc? Well, apparently he was the manager of a traveling “male revue show” that was described as being in the style of “Magic Mike.”

That’s right, this former soccer player/wrestler/cage fighter who may have been living in his van while sending out homemade pipe bombs through the mail was also managing male strip shows.

But, like many of us, Sayoc wasn’t truly loving his current career and was considering a new business venture. His next great idea? Fish farms. According to Humberger, Sayoc had opened a bank account for the new business before being arrested Friday morning.

And finally, the least surprising detail to emerge. As in most of these type of cases (bombings, shootings, murders), Mr. Humberger also said that Sayoc was “always sweet and a nice guy in general.”

Cesar Sayoc, a HUGE Trump Supporter, Identified as Suspect Who Sent Package Bombs to Top Democrats

Meet the man who law enforcement has confirmed as the package bomb sender. Cesar Altieri Sayoc Jr. was arrested Friday morning (Oct. 26) in connection with the suspicious packages that were sent across the country to various Democrats and to CNN’s headquarters in New York City.

Sayoc is a 54-year-old resident of Aventura, Florida, but is originally from the Bensonhurst neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City. He was arrested outside of an auto parts store in Plantation, Florida—a suburb of Ft. Lauderdale.

Sayoc has an extensive criminal background and (SURPRISE!) is a big Trump supporter.

Here’s what you need to know:

According to online records, Cesar Sayoc is a registered Republican.

He reportedly registered with the GOP in Florida in March 2016 and was pictured at a Trump rally that year wearing a MAGA had and proudly holding a “Welcome President Trump” banner.

2The feds seized a van owned by Cesar Sayoc that was covered in political stickers.

As a part of Cesar Sayoc’s arrest, Federal agents seized a van owned by him that is covered in political stickers including images of President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.

The above photo is a close-up image of one side of the van, taken by Twitter user Mahmud mohamed, shows images with crosshairs over the faces of Hilary Clinton, Michael Moore, CNN’s Van Jones and many others. “I saw this van in Hollywood at a stop light … and thought this was strange,” Mahmud mohamed tweeted.

3Cesar Sayoc has a lengthy criminal history and was charged with making a bomb threat in 2002.

Cesar Sayoc has an extensive criminal background, with arrests in Broward County, Florida dating all the way back to 1991, court records show.

In 1991, Sayoc was charged with third-degree grand theft, which is a felony. That same year, he pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to two years probation.

Sayoc’s own mother sought a domestic violence injunction against him in 1994, according to court records.

In 2002, Sayoc was charged with making a bomb threat in Dade, County Florida and was sentenced to one year of probation. Prosecutors agreed to dismiss the felony charge after he completed the probation in 2003.

Sayoc was also arrested in 2004 on drug charges after he was accused of possession and sale of steroids, including possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, tampering with evidence, filing fraudulent tax returns, criminal use of personal ID info and possession or unlawful issue of a driver’s license. He was sentenced to 18 months of probation that same year after pleading guilty to the charges.

In 2009, Sayoc was charged with operating a vehicle without a valid license, not having insurance and not having a tag light and was fined after pleading guilty to the misdemeanor charges.

In 2013, Sayoc was charged with battery and third-degree grand theft—a felony. He pleaded guilty to the charges in 2014 and was sentenced to probation. While on probation in 2014, he was arrested on a petit theft charge and (of course) violation of probation, which landed him 30 days in jail.

Sayoc was also reportedly arrested in Dade and Palm Beach counties on theft charges in 1992 and 2015.

Cesar Sayoc filed for bankruptcy in 2012 and was working as a store manager at a supermarket in Hollywood, Florida at the time. At one point, he also worked as a tour manager for Chippendales.

In 2014, while on probation for battery and grand theft, court records show he requested permission to travel due to his job as a road manager for Chippendales, International Gold Productions and Caesars Palace Royale Burlesque Show.

Cesar Sayoc shipped several suspicious packages containing pipe bombs to a number of top Democrats and liberals, including philanthropist George Soros, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Barack and Michelle Obama, Joe Biden, Maxine Waters and Robert De Niro.

A suspicious package sent to former CIA Director John Brennan forced the evacuation of Time Warner Center in New York City. Others who received packages included Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, Eric Holder, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Tom Steyer and James Clapper. A total of 14 packages were sent and no one was injured in the attempted attacks.

The FBI is treating their investigation into Cesar Sayoc as domestic terrorism, and if convicted, he could face up to 58 years in prison.

Uhh, No Thanks: Titanic II Set to Sail in 2022, Will Follow Original Route

An exact replica of the Titanic is setting sail in 2022.

It’s called the “Titanic II” and, here’s the kicker: It will follow the exact route of the original infamous ship that hit an iceberg and sank to the ocean floor in 1912, inspiring the blockbuster film “Titanic.”

Thanks, but no thanks!

The interior of the ship, which will cost about $500 million total to recreate inside and out, will look almost exactly like the original. There will be a first class area with a smoking room and an exact replica of the famous grand staircase.

The “Titanic II” will also have first-class dining, a second-class cabin, and third-class dining (for the poors, of course). The massive boat will also have a pool and a “Turkish bath,” and will be able to carry up to 2,400 passengers and 900 crew members.

The new Titanic will have modern safety features and modern lifeboats, but that still isn’t enough for those of us who have good sense to not say “NOPE!” this whole idea.

Keeping with tradition, the company behind the project is called Blue Star Line, a new company founded by millionaire Clive Palmer. (FYI: The original Titanic was operated by the White Star Line.)

The project was originally announced in 2012, so this thing has been 10 years in the making, but it was postponed due to financial restraints.

If all goes according to plan, Palmer says the ship will take off from Dubai and travel to Southampton, England before making its way across the Atlantic Ocean all the way to New York—a journey that will take around a week (about 6-8 days exactly) to complete.

Ticket prices haven’t been announced yet, but I can imagine there are enough curious idiots out there that the first trip will sell out pretty quickly.
