Desiigner Arrested for Allegedly Pointing Gun at Man in Road Rage Incident

Timmy Turner may not need a burner after all.

“Panda” rapper Desiigner was arrested Thursday night (Sept. 8) in NYC for allegedly pointing a gun at a man during a road rage incident. The man called the cops on Desiigner, who they later found in a car full of people with a gun and drugs on him.

According to TMZ:

The people in the SUV and the driver of another vehicle began screaming at each other. The driver of the other car called 911 and claimed Desiigner pointed a gun at him. The SUV left but the driver of the car took down the license plate number.

Cops found the SUV a short time later, searched it, and found a large quantity of loose pills in the center console. Our law enforcement sources say they found Oxycontin and other drugs.

Desiigner was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of controlled substance with intent to sell and third-degree menacing. The 4 other people in the SUV were also charged.

Worst Parents Ever Overdose on Heroin in Car With 4-Year-Old in Backseat

I’m about to introduce you to two of the worst parents EVER!!

A city in Ohio is putting two parents on blast by posting photos of them overdosed on heroin in a car with a 4-year-old in the back seat. East Liverpool hopes to combat drug use and its effects by posting the graphic photos.

Officer Kevin Thompson saw a car drifting while behind a school bus and went to inspect what was going on. He found James Acord with “pin point pupils.” Barely unable to speak, Acord explained he was driving his unconscious passenger, Rhonda Pasek, to the hospital.

Thompson took the keys and then noticed a 4-year-old boy in the backseat. The child is Pasek’s son.

Acord eventually passed out and paramedics revived both with a prescription drug called Narcan, which is used to reverse opiate overdoses. They apparently overdosed on heroin and were taken to the hospital.

They were both charged with endangering a child. Acord was also charged with operating a vehicle and slowing in a roadway, while Pasek was charged with public intoxication and not wearing a seatbelt.

Child services were called for the 4-year-old, but probably not soon enough. I can only imagine what he has seen and experienced in his short life.

East Liverpool posted the photos on the city’s official Facebook page to show the effects of drug use and to shed light on the heroin epidemic currently in their city.

“We feel it necessary to show the other side of this horrible drug. We feel we need to be a voice for the children caught up in this horrible mess. This child can’t speak for himself but we are hopeful his story can convince another user to think twice about injecting this poison while having a child in their custody.

We are well aware that some may be offended by these images and for that we are truly sorry, but it is time that the non drug using public sees what we are now dealing with on a daily basis. The poison known as heroin has taken a strong grip on many communities not just ours, the difference is we are willing to fight this problem until it’s gone and if that means we offend a few people along the way we are prepared to deal with that.”

Porsha Williams & Kandi Burruss Almost Fight While Filming “Real Housewives of Atlanta”

Filming of season 9 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is currently underway, and it seems Porsha Williams is back to throwing hands. This time, sources say, the object of her aggression is none other than (mostly) cool, calm, and collected Kandi Burruss.

Exact details are unclear, but as the Housewives gathered at a restaurant, it seems Williams was apparently caught off-guard when another castmate asked about her anger management classes. Burruss then confronted Stewart for referring to the other ATL Housewives as “b*tches” in another conversation.

Burruss sent Williams over the edge and a source told blogger Tamara Tattles, she had a “bizarre nervous breakdown.”

Tiarah Poyau: Some Things to Know About Student Killed at J’Ouvert Festival After She Told Man to Stop Grinding on Her

22-year-old Tiarah Poyau was murdered during the J’Ouvert Festival in New York earlier this week. Here are some things to know about Tiarah and the tragic shooting that took her life.

1. Tiarah was reportedly shot in the face after telling a man to stop grinding on her.

According to reports, Tiarah was walking with three friends at the parade early Monday morning (Sept. 5) when she was shot at close range above her right eye.

A source on the scene of the crime told the NY Post that the shooting occurred just hours after a man inappropriately approached Tiarah and she told him “get off me.”

Tiarah’s friends, who were walking ahead of her at the time, heard a gunshot and saw her fall to the ground. They told authorities that they didn’t see the shooter.

NYPD Chief Patrick Conrey released a statement saying investigators believe Tiarah was not the intended target in the shooting. Other witnesses in the area said that the shooting wasn’t over a dispute.

20-year-old Reginald Moise was later caught by police and identified as the shooter.

2. She was a college student with a promising future.

Tiarah was a student at St. John’s University and completed her undergraduate degree in accounting back in May. She was also working on her master’s degree in taxation before her untimely death.

St. John’s University President Conrado Gempesaw said in a statement:

“Tiarah was pursuing a dual degree B.S./M.S. program in the Peter J. Tobin College of Business where she recently completed her undergraduate degree in accounting in May 2016, and had just begun graduate work toward her Masters degree in taxation. She had a bright future ahead of her and was taken much too soon. The entire University community sends our thoughts and prayers to the Poyau family during this difficult time.”

On Tiarah’s LinkedIn page, she talked about her experiences studying abroad and shared her goals to become a CPA at a top firm.

My greatest achievement was in Spring of 2014 when I studied abroad in Paris, Rome, and Seville. Apart from being able to get away for a while, I was given the opportunity to push my limits and be responsible for my personal growth and development journey.

Since, I have used all tools available to me to enhance my professional image. My ultimate goal is to be an accountant at a prestigious firm where I can constantly learn new things and pursue opportunities at firm locations around the world.

3. The shooter Reginald Moise was caught Tuesday morning.

20-year-old Reginald Moise was arrested Tuesday morning (Sep. 6) and charged with Tiarah’s murder. According to police, Moise was driving under the influence on three wheels and had a Caribbean flag wrapped around his bloody hand when he was pulled over.

Following the shooting, Moise allegedly told friends that he shot someone at the parade on accident. “I think I shot somebody on the parade route. I didn’t know the gun was loaded,” sources told police Moise said.

Officers also said Moise called his girlfriend and asked to hide his gun at her place before fleeing to her home. After arriving to her home, the NY Post reports that Moise shot two rounds into a mirror, injuring his hand. One of the bullets entered the home of a neighbor, who alerted police. Moise then fled in his gray Ford Explorer, crashing into several parked cars and losing a wheel before patrol cops stopped him around 8 a.m. at Parkside Avenue and Murray Place.

Cops later found Moise’s gun at his girlfriend’s apartment and after running a ballistics test matched it to a shell found at the site of the shooting.

Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said: “On the scene, we find an aluminum-jacket 9 millimeter. It’s not particularly common, but we’ve seen them before. This aluminum-jacket 9 millimeter is also at the crime scene on Empire Boulevard. We start to get suspicious. We then send it down to the lab, and they make the comparison. It’s the same gun.”

Moise was charged with second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.

“We then begin to speak to him in the [71st Precinct] . . . where he goes on to state that he thinks he shot somebody, ‘The gun went off, I thought it was loaded, I’m not sure,’?” Boyce quoted Moise as saying. “And then he requested an attorney.”

4. Tiarah originally didn’t plan on going to the J’Ouvert festival.

According to a close friend of Tiarah’s, Tattuu Phillips, Tiarah had sworn off J’Ouvert in the past and vowed she would never go.

Phillips told the NY Daily News that Tiarah had said she was done with the dangerous festival years ago. But at the last minute, decided to attend with friends.

“We were all speaking out amongst each other that this year, we’re not going to hide. So she ended up accepting the invite to J’Ouvert — which she never goes to — and loses her life.”

Phillips calls for the event, which he described to the Post as Brooklyn’s version of “The Purge,” to be put to an end.

“If even one person is killed every year at J’Ouvert that sh*t has to stop. It has to stop. When did it become cool to focus on the party over life?” he said.

5. A 17-year-old boy was gunned down shortly before Tiarah.

Less than an hour before Tiarah was murdered, 17-year-old Tyreke Borel was also shot and killed a block away at the festival.

Borel was shot in the chest around 3:50 a.m. near Empire Boulevard and Flatbush Avenue. He was taken to the hospital where he died of his injuries. Police believe that he wasn’t an intended target in the shooting. No arrests have been made in connection with his murder and the investigation is ongoing.

Borel’s mother Alima St. Clair spoke with the NY Daily News and said that she cautioned her son to not attend this year’s festivities, but he insisted in order to not stay at home.

“He was just a lovely child who wanted to enjoy the Labor Day. I told him to be safe. But he’s 17. He didn’t want to stay home.”

A GoFundMe page was set up by Borel’s family on his behalf.

6. The parade has a history of shootings.

The J’Ouvert Festival has long been plagued with violence and, according to the NYPD, has had five killings, eight shooting incidents, and one stabbing since 2014.

At last year’s festivities, an aide to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo was struck by a stray bullet. The aide’s brother has called for an end to the event until better security measures can be enforced.

“Obviously, a part of me doesn’t think it should continue until they get a better grasp on security,” Aaron McNaughton said.

Just last week, Mayor Bill de Blasio said that pulling the plug on the event was “on the table” before changing his mind and deciding it won’t be cancelled.

“I think it was very clear yesterday that we were not including the option of ending something which has gone on for decades and decades. We have to find out a way to make it safer,” Blasio said in a press conference with police.

In addition to Poyau and Borel’s shooting deaths at J’Ouvert this year, two other bystanders were shot — a 72-year-old-woman and a 20-year-old man. In two separate incidents, a man and a woman were stabbed at the event.

7. A police officer who tried to save Tiarra shared his condolences on Instagram.

A police officer who was at the scene of Tiarah’s fatal shooting with his partners recalls lying with her in her final moments.

He later wrote about the tragic incident on social media and how her death had affected him.

8. A GoFundMe account has been set up to help cover Tiarah’s funeral expenses.

Tiarrah’s family has set up a GoFundMe account to help cover her funeral expenses and the page has almost reached half of it’s goal of $20,000 in a day.

Friends of Tiarah and her family have also sent out their condolences over her death.

“She’s a very pleasant girl. She always had a smile on her face. She was a good girl from a good family,” Anna Hayes, a neighbor of the family, said. Another friend said that she was a hard-worker and didn’t get caught up with boys.

“Tiarah wasn’t a girl running around. She wasn’t out chasing boys. She was in school, she lived abroad, she did an internship. She was doing things.”

Tiarah’s former classmate Alberto Perez is still upset about the circumstances, but is happy justice was served. “At least we are going to get some type of justice. It’s just horrible.”

Cam Newton Shows Off “New” Touchdown Dance at Panthers-Broncos Game

During the offseason, after the Carolina Panthers’ devastating Super Bowl 50 loss to the Denver Broncos, Cam Newton made it clear that the dab was dead, and he planned to replace it with an all-“new” celebration.

Well, it looks like Newton has finally unveiled his “new” dance. During the second quarter of the NFL regular-season opening game Thursday night (Sep. 4) against the Broncos (their first matchup since the Super Bowl), Cam scored a touchdown that put the Panthers up 14-7 and proceeded to show off his “new” dance.

And just so you know (I’m talking to YOU mainstream sports media), Cam did NOT invent this dance. It’s called the “Milly Rock” and it’s been around since 2014, so it’s nowhere near “new” (hence the quotes around the word throughout this article).

Unfortunately for the Panthers, though, Cam’s “new” dance did not help his team succeed in scoring a redemption win against the Broncos, unfortunately, thanks to Graham Gano missing the 50-yard field goal at the end of the 4th quarter with nine seconds remaining.

But, hey, at least Cam Newton has a “new” dance. 🙂

Viral Photo Shows Malia Obama Sitting Next to Bong While Wearing “Smoking Kills” Shirt

Though Malia Obama has decided to take a gap year before attending Harvard next fall, she is certainly getting the college freshman experience and she doesn’t care what anyone thinks. In a now viral photo, the first daughter can be seen sitting right next to giant bong.

The picture was allegedly taken on September 4th at a University of Pennsylvania frat house.

At this point, there really isn’t any other way to say it: Malia Obama does not give a f*ck! Barely a month after facing criticism (and praise) for a leaked photo that allegedly showed her smoking pot at the Lollapalooza music festival, she’s back at it again.

Malia was in town attending the Made in America Festival. Ironically, she was spotted wearing a “Smoking Kills” t-shirt (the same in the “bong” photo). This was a clear tongue-in-cheek nod to the previous pot “scandal.”

Pregnant Janet Jackson Embarrassed by Weight Gain & Hiding From Public, Now Reportedly Weighs 250 Pounds

Janet Jackson might be regretting her decision to bear an heir to her billionaire husband’s fortune. The 50-year-old is only months into her pregnancy but sources claim her life may be in danger and she’s already “ballooned to 250 pounds.”

The legendary performed shocked fans and the world, really, back in April when she postponed her world tour until 2017 to “plan a family.” A month later, Jackson revealed she and husband, Wissam Al Mana, were expecting their first child.

Any pregnancy can be difficult, but it especially becomes high-risk if the expectant mother is older. At 50, a source reveals Janet is “at risk for serious complications.” Reports say the singer hasn’t been seen in public since July because doctors have placed her on bed rest.

“This pregnancy is doing a number on her. She didn’t want anyone to see that she was already getting huge.”

Jackson has often battled with weight fluctuations, but this report is troubling.

Though its unknown when she’s expected to give birth or the sex of the baby, brother Tito Jackson revealed in June that his sister is just “hoping for healthy baby.”

Does Bishop Eddie Long Have HIV/AIDS? Preacher’s Dramatic Weight Loss Reportedly Due to “Grave Illness”

Bishop Eddie Long has reportedly been hospitalized with a “grave illness” and is said to be fighting for his life.

Last month, the controversial pastor appeared in a video showing off a shocking new slim physique that had us all scratching our heads and asking questions. According to Long, his dramatic weight loss was the result of a new diet that consisted of him eating raw vegetables instead of foods that could be found on what he called the “slave menu” (i.e. unhealthy soul food).

“I said to my congregation that I’m going to live to be 100 years old, maybe add a few more years. But you know what, I wasn’t going to get there by stopping by Popeyes,” he said in the video. “That was my weakness. The biscuits with honey and chicken wangs, spicy, and all of that. Many of us are still eating from a slave menu, you need to check that out.”

Though Bishop Long is attributing his rapid weight loss to healthier eating, he’s likely hiding what exactly inspired him to change his diet, and it apparently has something to do with a “grave illness” that is believed to be HIV/AIDS (or, at the very least, cancer).

One report from Obnoxious TV claims the infamous bishop hasn’t preached in months and he’s been told by doctors that he “only has months to live” due to him having HIV/AIDS.

Obnoxious Media just received word that Bishop Eddie Lee Long – who has recently been in the news and on our blog – has what is being described as AIDS. Obviously, since we are not able to confirm that 100%, we’re going to leave it as an “Obnoxious Report!“. Let’s clear, we are NOT suggesting, nor implying, that we have access to Bishop Eddie Lee Long’s medical records nor do we know his “true” diagnosis.

However, this is what we do know – Bishop Long has been publicly and privately accused of being bi-sexual (publicly: the five young men came forward and admitted their sexual relations with the infamous Bishop; privately: his church admins walking in on him bending “men” over in his office with the KY Jelly on the desk).

In the public lawsuit, four of the five men sued him, and Eddie settled out of court for an undisclosed amount of money: It was rumored they were paid $20 million dollars (Ha! The lawyer was paid the most and left the boys eligible for food stamps). In the past, Eddie Long has purchased countless numbers of cars, homes, paid rent, sponsored shopping sprees, etc., for young men in Atlanta but was more partial to college men.

Recently, while having dinner at one of my favorite eateries with some prominent clergymen, our table was bombarded by an anonymous source who wanted the undivided attention of Sir William, and, in a very humble and polite manner, asked if there was room at the table to join us. Quite naturally, we opened a space to accommodate this person, and it was shared that as a faithful member of New Birth that they had a great deal of respect for Bishop Long and pleaded with me to take it easy on the bishop due to his having cancer (Code Alert: Cancer will ALWAYS be the culprit when it’s really AIDS, but that’s just my opinion).

After a couple of confirming phone calls and text messages, it was proven that the source is very reliable. It was explained that Bishop Long has cancer (hmmph) in his digestive system and it was discovered in the 4th stage and he literally has months to live. This person went on to say that Bishop felt the need to do the “healthy living” video since he was wasting away and had been absent from the pulpit for nearly 3 months. He now needs assistance from his wife, Vanessa, to walk in and out of the services.

Bishop Long has been doing everything he can to live spiritually as well as naturally. He is on a total liquid diet because he cannot digest food at all and even went to see Prophet E. Vernard Jordan for prayer and Spiritual Guidance. While at Jordan’s house, an African Prophet was called to pray and cast out the demonic spirit on Bishop Eddie Long. According to the source, the prophet called the name of a man that was said to have been very close to Bishop Long and may have infected him with a dreadful disease.

Bishop Long has been admitted to an Atlanta hospital this week where he has been since Monday, and not yet been discharged. The Christian Post, who reported on the story from Obnoxious TV, called New Birth Missionary Baptist Church on Monday (Sep. 5), however a phone message notified them that the church wasn’t open at the time. “A message left for the minister on call for urgent matters was not returned,” CP reported.

Bishop Long has since released a statement confirming that he is “recovering from a health challenge” and asking that we respect his privacy.

The full statement, published on a digital letter head with the phrases “Rise Up!” and “Love Live Lead Like Christ!” on it, reads:

“I am recovering from a health challenge that I trust God to deliver me from. It is unrelated to the eating for life diet consisting of mostly raw vegetables that I am continuing, as part of a holistic approach to good health.

Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston’s shocking breakup was the split no one saw coming and we still don’t exactly know what happened. However, it’s quite possible Hiddleston was simply “tired” and “bored” of the singer.

The going rumor is Swift dumped Hiddleston because he wanted to make their relationship a public affair. His request for her to walk the Emmys red carpet with him was allegedly the last straw. Sources now say this isn’t true and that he was the one to kick the pop star to the curb, following his “3-month rule.”

A close friend/source tells Heat Street:

“The reports are wide of the mark and come as news to all Tom’s friends. He grew tired of Taylor, it wasn’t the other way round. Tom drifted from her and it had nothing to do with her being put off by the publicity. It’s more to do with the fact he’s a commitment-phobe who gets bored very easily.”

The Thor actor apparently does not like long-term relationships and has a three-month rule when dating. The source even says his sisters give him a hard time on this rule. As the couple was first spotted kissing in June, September does hit the alleged 3-month mark.

Furthermore, as she admittedly enjoys spending too much time with her cats, it’s completely believable Hiddleston would eventually find her boring, insufferable even.

Kanye West is keeping it all in the family. Soon after his disastrous Yeezy Season 4 fashion show, which left models falling out of their shoes and passing out, West made an official announcement that many also consider a misstep. The hip hop mogul announced that he had signed Tyga to his G.O.O.D. Music record label.

Tyga is obviously Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend and increasingly becoming more known for legal and money issues rather than his music. So, is Kanye just doing his sister-in-law a favor?

Earl Valentine, a North Carolina man who shot his ex-wife and killed his teenage son, is making headlines after he made a chilling confession about the brutal attack on social media before taking his own life.

Here are some things to know about Earl Valentine and the shooting:

1. Valentine shot his ex-wife and son at their home in Norlina, North Carolina.

According to reports, Valentine kicked in the back door of his ex-wife Keisha’s home in Norlina, N.C. on Tuesday morning (Sept. 6) and shot both her and their 15-year-old son Earl Jr. in the chest at point-blank range.

As he fled the scene, Valentine’s son called 911 and told authorities that his father shot him and his mother. The teen later died at the scene.

Keisha Valentine survived the shooting and was taken to the hospital to treat her injuries. She was listed in critical condition. WNCN reports that she underwent surgery on Wednesday for wounds to her chest and has a bullet near her spine.

Police believe the teen was trying to protect his mom and was shot unintentionally.

“It appeared the boy tried to intervene on his mother’s behalf and was also hit in the chest,” Norlina Police Chief Taylor Bartholomew said in a statement.

2. Valentine admitted to the shooting on Facebook Live.

After the shooting, Earl Valentine confessed to killing his wife (who he mistakenly thought was dead) in a Facebook Live video posted on his page, which has since been removed.

In the video, which has been reposted to other social media platforms, Valentine said that he was very sick and that his wife deserved the brutal attack.

“She lied on me, had warrants taken out on me. She drug me all the way down to nothing. I loved my wife, but she deserved what she had coming,” he said. “Pleasure knowing all y’all. I’ve been very sick for months. And this is something that I could not help. So I don’t know if I’m gonna make it where I’m going, but if I don’t, I wish all of you a good life.”

Police also talked on the phone with Valentine, who they say was “cold and callous” during the call and told them he was on the way to Richmond, Virginia to kill more family members.

“I’ve been in law enforcement 20 years and I’ve never seen anything like this this guy is bragging about it on social media. No remorse whatsoever,” Chief Bartholomew said. “When we spoke to him on the phone he told us he is basically armed and dangerous.”

Valentine’s family members were placed under police protection as officers searched throughout North Carolina, and parts of Virginia, and South Carolina for Valentine.

3. Keisha Valentine had a restraining order placed on her ex-husband Earl a year ago.

Valentine’s ex-wife Keisha and her teenage son had moved to Norlina nine months ago to escape his abuse. She was granted a year-long domestic violence restraining order against Valentine, but it expired last month.

Police Chief Bartholomew said that Valentine had also recently exchanged heated words with Keisha’s family on Facebook.

4. Earl Valentine was found dead on Wednesday at a motel in Columbia, S.C.

Police tracked Valentine in Richmond, Virginia on Wednesday morning. He was there visiting his father’s gravesite.

Valentine was then tracked in Columbia, South Carolina, where the US Marshals Service found him dead at a motel. He died due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Valentine’s mother currently lives in Columbia, S.C.

5. Valentine ran a limo service and was said to be a caring person.

A man named Dentis Shaw told WTVR that Early Valentine was his family, and he was shocked by the shooting that took place.

“Earl cared about people. Never in a hundred years did I think this would happen,” Shaw said. Shaw also said Valentine ran a limo service and was last known to live in Richmond.

6. Valentine’s daughter says that her father’s attack was pre-planned.

Keisha and Earl Valentine’s 18-year-old daughter Debonet spoke with NBC12 and revealed that her father had previously made threats to her mother on Facebook.

“He messaged my mom on Facebook and said he would kill her and then kill himself. I just didn’t know when and where,” she said.

Debonet said many of her family members left their homes and went to hotels after Valentine called them and threatened to kill them shortly after the shooting.

7. A GoFundMe has been made for Earl Valentine Jr.

Earl Valentine Jr.’s family has set up a GoFundMe to help cover his funeral expenses. On the page it says, the teen’s last words were “take care of my mom.”

Earl’s sister Debonet told NBC12 that her brother, who died trying to save his mother’s life, will be remembered as being loved by many.

“I’m just sad because my brother didn’t get justice for what happened to him,” Debonet said. “Everybody knew him at school, everybody loved Earl (her brother).”

She said that her mother took the news tough about her brother’s death when she found out at the hospital

“She blamed herself… And she said she wished it was her, instead of my brother,” Debonet said.

Those who protested on the frontline in Ferguson, MO after the shooting of Michael Brown are currently in mourning. Darren Seals, a prominent yet controversial figure of the protest, was shot and killed.

St. Louis police said the 29-year-old’s body was found in a burning car and his death is being investigated as a homicide.

Here are some things to know about Darren Seals and his tragic murder:

1. Police discovered Darren Seals’ body in a burning vehicle with a single gunshot wound.

Police found a burning car around 1:50 am Tuesday morning (Sept. 6) near a predominantly black suburb. The flames had to be extinguished before the body could be identified.

Police have confirmed the deceased is Seals and that he was shot once before the car was set on fire. The case is being investigated as a homicide. However, police have no suspects nor a motive. Witnesses are currently being interviewed.

“We are working with potential witnesses and doing everything we can, the same as we do in every case,” said St. Louis County police spokesman Officer Benjamin Granda. “We need the community’s help on this.”

2. He was near the scene when Mike Brown was fatally shot in 2014.

5. He was a controversial activist who addressed multiple causes.

Though his methods were controversial, many of his supporters say he “practiced what he preached.”

“[Seals] was a young man who cared deeply and passionately about his community,” said local attorney and political analyst Lizz Brown. “Whether he was paying for Christmas gifts for the kids in the neighborhood or organizing young people. He will be missed.”

In addition to police brutality, he often addressed other social justice issues, most notably via social media. His latest cause was supporting Colin Kaepernick in his protest against oppression of black people and minorities by not standing for the National Anthem.

6. Darren Seals was an aspiring rapper who described himself as an “Afrikan in AmeriKKKa.”

According to this Al Jazeera America article, Seals was “an assemblyman at General Motors by day and a rapper by night.” He was reportedly a part of a Hip Hop collective called the Bottom Boyz Movement and went by the name King D Seals.

7. Fellow activists have paid their respects on social media.

Many activists seeking social justice and an end to police brutality had a strained relationship with Seals. He often criticized outsiders as “hijacking” the protests. Even so, many have paid tribute to their fellow protester via social media.

8. Darren Seals’ tragic death is eerily similar to the DeAndre Joshua case.

In November 2014, just a month after the protests, DeAndre Joshua (20) was shot in the head and left in a burning car, near the scene of Brown’s shooting. His death was ruled a homicide but no arrests made. Police say the two murders are not linked, as of yet.

50 Cent Disses Vivica Fox in Petty Instagram Post, Taraji P. Henson Defends TV Sister and “Empire”

50 Cent is one petty dude. The rapper continues to take jabs at ex Vivica Fox and TV show rival Empire on his Instagram account.

50 and Vivica have been at odds and throwing light shade since their breakup way back in 2004. However, the animosity reached its peak when Vivica seemingly questioned the rapper’s sexual orientation during a 2015 appearance on Watch Happens Live! 50 has been in full-attack mode ever since.

For his latest petty move, the rapper compares Vivica to a woman that has suffered extremely botched plastic surgery. (It’s no secret the actress has gone under the knife over the years)

Please catch the Emmy shade Henson throws. 50 has long-maintained his show is better than Empire and was snubbed at the Emmys. Empire has earned 4 nominations since it premiered.

Zendaya Says Cashier Threw Her Wallet, Refused Service Due to Her “Skin Tone”

Actress/singer Zendaya Coleman is not afraid to check somebody for discrimination and micro-aggressions. The 20-year-old said she encountered a less-than-friendly cashier that did not like her “skin-tone” as she tried to buy gift cards at the popular Vons grocery store.

Zendaya, who is biracial but proudly embraces her blackness, wanted to buy $400 worth of gift cards. But according to her, the cashier looked at her as if the Disney Channel alum couldn’t afford the purchase and threw her wallet back at her.

Zendaya shared the experience on Snapchat and feels discrimination played was a major factor in the bad service. She was also accompanied by a black male friend.

She said in part:

“But the lady that was helping us, I don’t think she was a huge fan of our skin tone… In fact, I recall her not trying to help us at all, saying that we couldn’t buy the gift cards, and then throwing my wallet.

I can’t make this s–t up! This is what we deal with! She literally threw my wallet and she was like, ‘You can’t afford this,’ is how she looked at me. It was $400! Long story short. There is so much progress to be done in our world.”

However, Zendaya also gave a “shout out” to the manager of the store, who helped her buy the cards. Vons has also released a statement addressing the issue:

At Vons, we strive to treat each and every customer with the utmost respect. There is a policy that limits gift card purchases using a credit card. Zendaya was able to purchase gift cards up to our limit, and we apologize for any inconvenience or misunderstanding.

We respect Zendaya’s voice in the community and similarly are committed to diversity and inclusion. Moreover, we understand that race is a sensitive issue in America and view this experience as a reminder that every interaction is an opportunity to treat each customer as we ourselves would like to be treated.”

This is not the first time Zendaya has had to deal with issues of race. She famously called out Fashion Police host Giuliana Rancic for criticizing her faux dread locs, by jokingly insinuating the star looked like smelled of “weed” and “patchouli.”

Most recently, the actress faced racially-charged backlash after being cast as Mary Jane in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming, film.

Though I’m firmly behind Zendaya, I still have one question: Why did the cashier have Zendaya’s wallet in the first place?

Chris Brown Believes Baylee Curran Set Him Up As Many Point Out Situation Mirrors Upcoming TV Pilot

Chris Brown is finally speaking out since a 9-hour standoff with LAPD and subsequent arrest after Baylee Curran accused the singer of pointing a gun at her. Though Brown revealed he believes Curran set him up, that’s not even the most interesting new detail regarding this bizarre situation.

Brown exclusively provided Good Morning America and ABC News a video maintaining his innocence and expressing his thoughts on the matter.

“My character’s been defaced and who I am as a person and integrity…. I’m glad that all my real supporters know me and know the truth, and they’ll see the truth.”

With an alleged text message as proof, Brown and his lawyer Mark Geragos, believes Curran set up the entire incident. The two suspect Curran sought revenge after Brown asked her to leave his home.

The alleged text message reads:

“I’m going to set him up and call the cops and say that he tried to shoot me, and that will teach him a lesson.”

The message has yet to be authenticated. Curran is sticking to her original story that Brown pulled the gun on her after she admired jewelry another guest in Brown’s home had.

However, if you’re like me and felt this story was too insane to be true from the beginning, you might be on the right path. Many have noted that Brown’s situation is eerily similar to the pilot episode of an upcoming show based on Geragos’ career.

The first episode of Notorious (ironically on ABC) finds a lawyer arriving at a mansion while his client refuses to surrender to authorities. Sound familiar?

Although Chris Brown would not obviously sign up to be a part of some elaborate publicity stunt just to promote a show, the coincidences are too similar to ignore.

Even so, Brown was released from jail after posting a $250,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court September 20th. Who knows what other details will emerge in the coming weeks?

Kevin Durant Now Has a Huge Tattoo of Rick James’ Face on His Thigh

It looks like joining the Golden State Warriors isn’t the only major life decision Kevin Durant made during the offseason. A post on Twitter last week showed Kevin Durant rocking his latest tattoo: a huge portrait of Rick James on his thigh.

And this isn’t the first musical artist Durant’s gotten tattooed on his leg this summer. Back in June, Durant showed off a picture of Tupac’s face on the side of his leg that he had recently gotten.

You starting to notice a theme here? Apparently Durant is giving up on his previous tattoo strategy and instead wants to pay homage to all of his favorite musicians. So anyone with access to Durant’s iPod hit me up. I want to know who’s going to be next.

Robbers Targeted Rob Ryan Because “He Ain’t Lil Wayne, He Just A Football Coach”

Two potential robbers in New Orleans made it very clear that Rob Ryan “ain’t Lil Wayne.” It turns out Ryan, defensive assistant for the Buffalo Bills and twin brother to Rex, was being targeted by a group of robbers last year when he was still with the Saints.

The diabolical plot never came to fruition, though, because the criminals in question are apparently complete idiots. One of the guys planning the robbery left a message on his partner’s voicemail describing Ryan’s lack of security.

“He don’t got no security,” said the caller. “He’s just a regular football coach…He ain’t…big…like Lil Wayne or nobody…that got bodyguards everywhere. He ain’t like Lil Wayne. He just a…football coach…Defensive coordinator of the Saints. He don’t have no bodyguards…in front his house.”

The only problem is that the robber dialed the wrong damn number. While thinking he was talking to his friend, the guy had actually called a federal worker who turned the voicemail over to local police. Two suspects have been connected to the scheme to rob Ryan along with six others indicted in connection to a conspiracy to run a string of robberies in the NOLA.

Besides the obvious ridiculousness of this story, what gets me is this guy’s obsession with Lil Wayne. He clearly knows a lot about Weezy and his security detail, which leads me to believe Rob Ryan wasn’t their first choice of victim.

And also, robbers, if The Wire taught us anything, it’s that you should either only speak in person or use burners. Rookie mistake, guys.
