Montia Sabbag: What You Need to Know About the Woman at the Center of Kevin Hart Sex Tape Scandal

The woman at the center of Kevin Hart’s cheating/sex tape scandal has been identified and she’s speaking out. During a press conference with her lawyer, Lisa Bloom, on Wednesday (Sept. 20), Montia Sabbag revealed she had brief “intimate relationship” with the comedian and confirmed she is the woman with Hart in the leaked sex tape.

However, Sabbag is adamant that she did not record the secret footage, nor is she the one attempting to extort Hart for millions of dollars in exchange of keeping the footage private. Bloom even said her client is a victim just as much as Hart in this situation.

Here are a few things you need to know about Kevin Hart’s sex tape companion, Montia Sabbag.

Montia Sabbag is a 27-year-old aspiring singer/actress who met Kevin Hart in Las Vegas in mid-August.

Montia Sabbagg (sometimes spelled Montiah Sabagg) is a 27-year-old who lives in Long Beach, California. It has been reported that she is a “traveling stripper” willing to appear at any club that wants her. However, she denied this during her Wednesday press conference as she explained her connection to Kevin Hart.

“My name is Montia Sabbag. I was involved with Kevin Hart a month ago. Since then my pictures and my name have been released with lies written about me. I’m not an extortionist. I’m not a stripper. I’m a recording artist and an actress and I have not broken any laws. I had nothing to do with these recordings.”

According to Sabbag’s attorney, Lisa Bloom, Sabbag first met Hart “on the way” to Las Vegas during the weekend of August 17, 2017. Sabbag did not know she was going to meet the comedian in Vegas, but the two were together for the next few days at the Cosmopolitan Hotel.

A sex tape of Montia Sabbag & Kevin Hart leaked online following a foiled extortion attempt.

In an Instagram video posted on Sept. 16, Kevin Hart revealed he was being extorted for money over an alleged sex tape. Other than a non-graphic screenshot, no footage of the video had been released at the time Hart posted his apology video. However, TMZ and other outlets reported the contents of said video.

The 4-minute and 47 second video is highly produced, with audio from Kevin on various radio shows as the video rolls. The video cuts to a bedroom scene where it appears 2 people are having sex on a bed. You can’t see the people in the bed, but afterward you see a naked man walking in the room and it definitely looks like Kevin.

By that Monday (Sept. 18), footage of the sex tape had surfaced online and was captured by Fameolous. The short clip is exactly as TMZ described. Though nothing graphic is seen, it’s definitely clear at least two people are having sex. It also includes Kevin talking to a second woman at the end of the clip.

Sabbag claims she did not record her encounter with Kevin. Investigators say the video was recorded using an iPhone and Sabbag can be seen using her phone in the footage. Sabbag also claims she was not involved with whoever did secretly record her and Kevin’s tryst.

Bloom says her client is the victim of “multiple felonies” at the state and federal level.

“Montia is a crime victim. Someone apparently snuck cameras into Kevin Hart’s private hotel suite in Las Vegas and recorded bedroom images of the two of them. It is a crime to secretly put cameras in a private place like a hotel room. It is another crime to secretly record people in a private place. It is yet another crime to distribute those images. Montia is the victim of multiple felonies under state and federal laws.”

Suggestive photos of Montia & Kevin at a Las Vegas nightclub have also surfaced.

In addition to the sex tape footage, photos of Kevin Hart and Montia Sabbag surfaced online on Tuesday (Sept. 19). The photos were taken on August 19 at Marquee Nightclub at the Cosmopolitan hotel, but it’s unclear if they were captured before or after Hart and Sabbag engaged in sexual activity.

The pics show Hart and Sabbag very close and intimate. Hart is basically between Sabbag’s legs in one shot, while the two seem to be kissing in another.

Montia & Kevin hooked up during Kevin’s pregnant wife’s birthday weekend & his extortionist wanted $15 million to keep his secret.

The newly published photos fit in the timeline described by Montia Sabbag, Lisa Bloom, and the extortionist. The yet-to-be-identified extortionist claimed Kevin Hart was at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas between August 17-20.

Hart’s pregnant wife Eniko Parrish’s birthday also happened to be August 18.

The extortionist explains in a text-only video that during Parrish’s birthday weekend, Hart “was recklessly partying with my friends and I. Drinking, doing drugs, and having sex with multiple women.”

“Seeing Kevin Hart blatantly disrespect his marriage in the way he did was appalling to me,” the extortionist writes.

So, the plan was to expose Hart as a womanizing cheater and benefit financially from the scandal by selling the sex tape video or blackmailing the comedian, demanding as much as $15 million by some reports.

Once their extortion plot was foiled by Kevin Hart, the extortionist still felt Hart should be exposed and hoped it would be a lesson for other celebrities.

“Kevin Hart was so drunk and drugged up, it was an effortless attempt to film and take pictures of him. I hope every celebrity learns his or her lesson from this. Regardless of your financial status, you are not invincible. Stay honest, faithful and real.

“Everyone knows, Once a cheater, always a cheater.”

Montia Sabbag denies being involved in the extortion plot and says she doesn’t want any money from the comedian.

Montia denies having in part in recording the sex tape or extorting Kevin Hart. “I’m not an extortionist… I have not broken any laws,” she said during her press conference on Wednesday (Sept. 20).

Prior to obtaining Lisa Bloom as counsel, Sabbag’s previous lawyer contacted Hart’s people saying she would take a lie detector test to prove she was not involved in the extortion plot, but only if she was paid $420,000.

Bloom said in a statement that her client is not demanding money, but is willing cooperate with authorities in order to aid in the investigation of who the extortionist and criminal is.

“Montia and I are not asking for a cent from Kevin Hart. This is not about money. We are not suing him. We are not making any claims against him. Any reports to the contrary are false.”

Bloom told TMZ that they have a suspicion of who the extortionist could be and would be informing law enforcement.

The FBI is currently looking into the extortion case and have a suspect as a person of interest. Hart has had at least two meetings with authorities, most recently by phone on Monday (Sept. 18) in an hour and a half long conversation.

Bloom noted that Hart had contacted Sabbag once since the scandal broke to ask her if she was involved (they have each other’s phone number) which Sabbag denied. Bloom hopes Hart will work with them to get to the bottom of the matter.

The ladies of Atlanta are back! Bravo has released the first look at season 10 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and it looks fire! Even Sheree Whitfield can’t believe the drama. “Oh my God! Oh, this is getting’ juicy!” she exclaims in the trailer.

As expected, Sheree, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, and Porsha Williams are all returning. Original cast member NeNe Leaks has replaced a fired Phaedra Parks as a full-time “housewife” and fellow OG Kim Zolciak-Biermann will briefly return as a “friend” to the ladies.

The ladies are still dealing with the fallout over Phaedra’s lies about Kandi from last season and Porsha’s role in the debacle. “Once I don’t f*ck with you, I don’t f*ck with you,” Kandi says of Porsha.

Shockingly, however, it’s NeNe who has Kandi’s back and goes after Porsha the hardest. “You deserve some discipline for what you did to Kandi,” she yells at Porsha, who she also calls a “big ass mother f**king liar.” Porsha shoots back with a “f*ck you” of her own to NeNe.

The second major conflict seems to be between Kenya and Kim. It was reported in July that these two got into it, but now we get to see what really went down. Kim threw the first shot by questioning the legitimacy of Kenya’s surprise marriage to Marc Daily, even calling him a “fan.”

“Worry about pimping your daughter out, b*tch,” Kenya responded, referring to Kim’s eldest daughter, Brielle.

Kenya’s relationship isn’t the only one that gets the women talking. Cynthia also introduced the group to her new boo, Will Jones, but Kenya seems to think he’s still sleeping with other women.

And on top of that Cynthia’s ex-husband, Peter Thomas, isn’t quite ready to let go, telling the Atlanta husbands, “Cynthia and I will get back together.”

Meanwhile, a call from an inmate in federal prison got everybody wanting to know what’s up with Sheree’s love life. We reported in August that she was dating (and possibly married to) Tyrone Gilliams, a man currently serving a 10-year sentence for fraud.

NeNe calls Gilliams a con-artist. “I hope he doesn’t con her out of Chateau Sheree,” Kandi adds.

Other notable moments from the trailer include: a health scare for NeNe’s husband Greg Leakes, Kim insinuating NeNe may have a substance abuse problem, and Kenya dialing 911 to make a report.

Porsha also asks if Kim is her new “frack,” while ladies wonder if Kenya really is Cynthia’s best friend. Oh, and apparently Porsha is a “baby vegan” (but still eating meat).

Mariah Carey Is Stiff as a Board in VH1 Hip Hop Honors Performance

There are many things Mariah Carey is known for: Her diva attitude, her dog-whistle high notes and her love of all things relating to butterflies.

One thing she is NOT known for is being a skilled, agile dancer.

So know that when I say that Mariah’s lack of movement onstage at the 2017 VH1 Hip Hop Honors was strange, it’s not because I had delusions that she was capable of pulling off a Janet Jackson-style “Rhythm Nation” routine. I just expected her to behave like someone with a pulse and a working musculoskeletal system.

Instead, we got the mannequin challenge.

Mariah looked so uncomfortable onstage throughout the entire routine and she required the assistance of two male dancers to move anything more than an inch.

And when she was supposed to interact with Ma$e during his verse, she looked like she was clenching her ass cheeks and suffering from a serious case of bubble guts the entire time. Ma$e, on the other hand, was bubbly and bounced around during his performance like Tigger. Mariah: She gave him nothing but her best Eeyore and had a face that screamed, “Why am I here right now?”

Mariah’s former choreographer Anthony Burrell admitted in recent interviews that Mariah’s laziness onstage is something that he dealt with when he worked with her. He also said she performs with “no f*cks given” and called her recent performances “lackluster.” So we already knew what time it was, especially after we witnessed that horrendous New Year’s Eve performance.

But Twitter still couldn’t help but notice, mock and highlighted just how terrible and awkward Mariah was on VH1 Hip Hop Honors.

I’m gonna need Mariah to do a little bit better than this, please. Either that or put away all of the damn dancers and just pull an Adele. But you can’t have all of these people bustin’ a move and breakin’ a sweat, twirling around you while you lazily gaze at them and sigh, Mimi.

LeLee Lyons of SWV and T-Boz of TLC Are Mad They Weren’t Invited to VH1 Hip Hop Honors

While most people enjoyed the trip down nostalgia lane for this year’s VH1 Hip Hop Honors, which sought to honor “’90s Game Changers,” two people who were on the scene in the 1990s were none too pleased to be left off of the honoree list: LeLee Lyons of SWV and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins of TLC.

In a petty move, LeLee got in her feelings and took to her social media to let the world know that she did NOT appreciate SWV not getting a slot on VH1’s tribute to the ’90s.

LeLee’s statement, which lashed out at unspecified people for benefitting from “payola,” “dick riding” and “popularity contests,” was immediately cosigned by her bandmate, Coco, who chimed in saying, “Say that shit sis!”

T-Boz, who was a major rival to SWV in her hey day, backed her former competitor in Instagram, saying, “I feel you.”

Now I’m no Miss Cleo, but I think the angst both of these ladies are feeling stems from the fact that Xscape received a sizable portion of the spotlight during the special as they sang their hits as a group and then Kandi and Tiny came out to perform TLC’s hit song “No Scrubs,” which they co-wrote.

But this jealousy, envy and bitterness is wildly unbecoming and completely unnecessary given that BOTH ladies’ groups have ridden recent waves of promotion and nostalgia. SWV had a lovely comeback complete with their own reality show on WeTV a few years back. And TLC had a WHOLE-ASS TV movie about their lives and impact air on VH1. So it’s not like these ladies haven’t been celebrated or acknowledged for their impact recently.

Xscape is having their year. They reunited for the first time since their breakup way back when at the BET Awards this year, so it makes sense that they’d be the focus for this event too. Besides, while VH1 sought to honor ’90s game changers, it didn’t claim to be nor did anyone expect it to be an exhaustive list of every artist who changed ’90s.

Jay-Z ran ’90s hip hop and he wasn’t honored. Did you see him throwing a hissy fit?

T-Boz’s behavior and participation in this is especially ugly since her group WAS honored, as Kandi and Tiny DRESSED UP in their likeness as an homage to TLC. And Kandi even posted her T-Boz likeness on Instagram, but Tionne didn’t bother to comment, like or acknowledge Kandi’s shout out.

Instead, T-Boz took to Twitter plug another TLC co-writer that she liked better:

Ok, Tionne. We don’t know this stranger girl whose Soundcloud you’re posting and we don’t know or recognize whatever the hell she wrote for y’all, but we peep your petty.

God doesn’t like ugly or envy and T-Boz and LeLee should stop worrying about others getting shine and worry about being better people. What is meant for you is meant for you, what isn’t meant for you isn’t.

Monique “MoMo” Gonzalez Posted Cryptic Message Right Before Kevin Hart Apologized for Cheating on Pregnant Wife

With a threat of extortion over an alleged sex tape looming over him, Kevin Hart publicly apologized to his pregnant wife for his “bad error in judgement” and cheating on her. However, shortly before his apology, the woman he was caught with over the summer posted a cryptic message of her own.

Rising pop-Latin singer Monique “MoMo” Gonzalez posted a pic of herself emerging from the shadows as sunlight hit her face. Once Hart’s video went viral, Gonzalez’s caption for her post seemed to take on a new meaning. She wrote:

“The truth always comes to light.”

Gonzalez found herself embroiled in a cheating scandal with the comedian in July. The two were caught on video looking very intimate with each other in a car around 5 am after partying at a Miami club.

While nothing incriminating is seen on the video, a source told Radar, “It was obvious they were up to no good.” It was even speculated they were making out as Hart appeared very close to Gonzalez, possibly even getting in the passenger seat with her.

At the time, Hart literally laughed off the rumors he was cheating on his pregnant wife, Eniko Parrish, with a meme. “At the end of the day, you just gotta laugh at the BS,” it read.

A rep for Hart denied the rumor and Gonzalez also told a friend that nothing happened between she and Hart. The friend relayed this to a Miami radio station.

Kevin Hart’s latest cheating scandal was sparked by someone threatening to release “sexually suggestive” tapes of the actor with a woman other than his wife. This person was demanding millions of dollars from Hart in order to keep the videos private.

He chose the cheaper route by going public himself. “I’d rather fess up to my mistakes,” he said.

Gonzalez is not believed to be the woman in the clips as the alleged videos were recorded in mid-August. The FBI has a suspect who they believe attempted to extort the comedian.

Kevin Hart got caught out there in the worst way possible and now he’s been forced to come clean. The comedian has publicly apologized to his pregnant wife, kids and fans after a woman threatened to extort him over “sexually suggestive” videos.

After finding himself in the precarious situation, Hart offered his apologies in an Instagram video he posted on Saturday. He said in part:

“I’m at a place in my life where I feel like I have a target on my back and because of that I should make smart decisions. And recently, I didn’t… I made a bad error in judgment and I put myself in an environment where only bad things can happen and they did…

“At the end of the day man, I just simply have got to do better. But I’m also not going to allow a person to have financial gain off of my mistakes and in this particular situation that’s what was attempted. I said I’d rather fess up to my mistakes.”

Hart’s latest cheating scandal comes after a woman allegedly demanded up to $10 million from the actor to keep her from releasing a series of “sexually suggestive” videos of Hart with a woman other than his pregnant wife, Eniko Parrish.

The videos are not explicit and is not a sex tape, but a sexual encounter is implied. A screencap of the video has been released following Hart’s public admission and sources have described the videos to TMZ.

The first appears to show a woman and Kevin in a club getting cozy. The tape then cuts to a bed, where you don’t see the people in the bed … but hear creaking and what could be people having sex. You never see Kevin in the 2nd clip. The 3rd clip shows 2 people milling around a room, one of them looks vaguely like Kevin.

“Someone tried to set Kevin up in a failed extortion attempt. As law enforcement is involved, we cannot comment further as it could affect the investigation,” a rep for Hart said in a statement.

The FBI is looking into the extortion case and do have a person of interest as a suspect. However, it’s unclear if the extortionist is the same woman in the videos with Hart or someone else who has obtained the footage in some way.

Kevin Hart last had to deal with cheating rumors in July when he was spotted in a vehicle looking very comfortable with Latin singer Monique “MoMo” Gonzalez. However, she is not the woman in the new videos which were allegedly recorded in mid-August.

New Surveillance Videos Show Kenneka Jenkins Stumbling Through Crowne Plaza Hotel Halls & Kitchen Alone

Rosemont police have released surveillance video footage of Kenneka Jenkins that captured her final moments before being found dead in a walk-in freezer at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Chicago.

The raw video footage released on Friday (Sept. 15) shows the 19-year-old exiting an elevator and staggering around the halls of the hotel. She is seen going through doors, back into the hallways, and eventually into an unused kitchen area.

However, what is not seen on the footage released is Kenneka entering a freezer. It has also been revealed the old freezer she was found in did not have a lock and could be opened from the inside.

On Thursday (Sept. 14), Chicago activist Andrew Holmes claimed he Rosemont police showed him video of Kenneka walking into the freezer alone and never coming back out. Kenneka’s mother Tereasa Martin and her lawyer, Larry Rogers Jr. said on Friday police did not release any video that Holmes described to them.

“Despite request for all evidence, we have only been provided snippets of video, none of which shows Kenneka Jenkins walking into a freezer,” Rogers said in a statement. “Serious questions remain as to how she ended up in a Crowne Plaza Hotel freezer and why it took a day and a half for the hotel to find Kenneka.”

A cause of death hasn’t yet been determined after an autopsy and a toxicology report may take weeks or months.

Kenneka was found dead on Sunday (Sept. 10) after she disappeared from a party she and her friends attended at the hotel. Social media has become invested in her mysterious death and have used social media videos to theorize she was murdered.

There have been several protests outside of the Crowne Plaza Hotel seeking justice for Kenneka. Crowne Plaza has offered to pay for her funeral expenses.

Kenneka’s family was able to review the footage prior to it being released to the public.

Video Released to Kenneka Jenkins’ Family Doesn’t Show Her Walking Into Freezer, Lawyer Says

A lawyer representing the family of Kenneka Jenkins—who was recently found dead in a hotel freezer—says they have not received any video evidence from Rosemont, Illinois police that shows the 19-year-old walking into the freezer alone.

Larry Rogers, Jr released a statement Friday morning (Sept. 15) on behalf of Kenneka’s family. It read in part:

Despite requests for all evidence, we have only been provided snippets of video, none of which shows Kenneka Jenkins walking into a freezer. The family has not been provided any video or other evidence of Kenneka Jenkins walking into a freezer.

Serious questions remain as to how she ended up in a Crowne Plaza Hotel freezer and why it took a day and a half for the hotel to find Kenneka. Her death requires a thorough complete and independent investigation.

This is a contradiction to Chicago activist Andrew Holmes who claimed yesterday (Sept. 14) that Rosemont police personally showed him surveillance video from Crowne Plaza Hotel that show a disoriented Kenneka opening the double doors of a freezer, walking in alone and not coming back out.

The anti-violence advocate even held a press conference and deemed Kenneka’s death “an accident waiting to happen.”

“The important part is we all wanted to know: Did anybody call her down there? Did anybody force her down there? Was there anybody on the other side of the room when she got down there? And the answer to that is no.”

Police never confirmed that Holmes was shown such footage, however, Rosemont police spokesman Det. Joe Balogh thanked Holmes’ “[assistance] on behalf of the family and community pursuant to this investigation.”

Holmes has worked closely with several police department over the years due to activism went to the Rosemont Police Department for answers regarding Kenneka’s case allegedly on the behalf of her family.

However, during a protest for her daughter on Thursday, Kenneka’s mother Tereasa Martin said Holmes had “misrepresented” her and said that the statements he made during his press conference were false.

“He came out of the blue and acting … like he was a friend. But he calls me this morning and says, ‘Oh the hotel is not making any money. I think you need to go online and stop the protest.'”

This was a similar statement Martin made about Holmes on Facebook Live prior to attending the protest.

It should be noted that Martin had not seen any video footage at the time she made these statements. She and her lawyer reviewed the footage the following day (Sept. 15).

Although, it is extremely interesting that police would show such vital evidence to an outsider before Kenneka’s mother, and more importantly, her lawyer. Nonetheless, Holmes is standing by his comments following the family’s statement on Friday.

“My point was—and I’m going to stand by it—I didn’t see anyone downstairs behind her. I didn’t see anyone in front of her. I didn’t see anyone trying to force her back there. That’s my point and I’ll stick to it.”

Kenneka was found dead in walk-in a freezer at Crowne Plaza Hotel on Sunday (Sept. 10) after attending a party with friends at the hotel on Friday. Cause of death was not determined after an autopsy and a toxicology report may take week or months.

Despite heavy social media speculation the 19-year-old was murdered, police are currently treating her case as a death investigation, with homicide or foul play not being suspected.

Any hotel surveillance footage is not expected to be released to the public until the investigation is closed.

Monifah Shelton Possibly Arrested During Protest for Kenneka Jenkins

Kenneka Jenkins’ self-proclaimed best friend, Monifah Shelton, may have been arrested while attending a protest seeking justice for Kenneka’s mysterious death.

An arrest has not been confirmed, but it has been claimed on social media that Shelton was possibly arrested on Thursday (Sept. 14) for disobeying police orders. According to online reports, Shelton was “going into the streets and causing disorder during the protest.”

While recording on Facebook Live at a Rosemont, Illinois police station, activist Jedidiah Brown stated that in addition to Shelton, Lamon Records, Joshua Gardner, and a fourth person may have also been arrested for trespassing during the protest. Brown also stated their bond could be set up to $150.

A woman also waiting in the police station for information claimed Shelton was the first to be arrested and Records confronted the officer on her behalf, only to be arrested as well.

A screenshot of Shelton allegedly at the protest has also begun to circulate.

Again, this arrest has NOT been confirmed and is also NOT in connection to Kenneka’s death.

Shelton attended the party at Crowne Plaza Hotel with Kenneka and social media has speculated that she was, in some capacity, involved in the 19-year-old’s mysterious death.

The viral Facebook Live video in which some claimed to hear Kenneka say “Help me” before possibly being assaulted was recorded on Shelton’s account, although Irene Roberts was the one holding the camera and wearing the heavily reflective sunglasses.

Shelton has since been attacked online and it was even rumored that she had committed suicide due to the backlash she was receiving. However, this rumor was started by a fake Instagram account and then falsely reported by a clickbait site.

Kenneka Jenkins was found dead in a walk-in freezer at Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel on Sunday (Sept. 10) after attending a party there with friends on Friday. A cause of death is still unknown, but social media sleuths are convinced Monifah Shelton, Irene Roberts, and another friend, Shamaya Winder, were involved.

Anti-violence activist, Andrew Holmes, revealed Thursday (Sept. 14) that Rosemont police showed him hotel surveillance footage of a disoriented Kenneka walking into the freezer alone and unable to get out.

Kenneka’s mother, Tereasa Martin, refutes Holmes’ claims and will review the surveillance video with her lawyer today (Sept. 15). She has been adamant that there is more to her daughter’s death than what has been told to her so far.

Tyrese Gibson is lashing out at his ex-wife on social media after obtaining a restraining order following accusations the actor/singer abused their 10-year-old daughter. She was also granted primary physical custody until their next court date.

In a lengthy Instagram post on Wednesday (Sept. 13), Tyrese directly addressed his ex Norma Mitchell Gibson and called her “bitter,” “resentful,” and mean-spirited. He seems to believe this is because she hasn’t found a man since they divorced. He wrote in part:

“There’s someone out here for everybody – Norma I know you can see this, I’m sorry I got re-married, I’m sorry we didn’t work out I’m sorry you haven’t been able to find another man since we separated…… Sometimes you get married and have kids and things just don’t work out, but I have NEVER wished harm on you……. I was hoping by now you got over what we used to be… Being bitter, resentful and just felt out mean will has never been good for our daughter.”

Recent court documents show Norma accused Tyrese of abusing their daughter, Shayla, during an incident that occurred on August 19. She claims he “pushed our daughter to the ground, pinned her face down, put his knees on her back, grabbed her hands with one arm and beat her with the other.”

She continues to allege Tyrese hit the 10-year-old girl “between 12 and 16 times.” Norma was informed of the incident when her daughter claimed she felt pain when trying to sit. “Mum, Dad beat me so hard that it hurts when I sit down,” Norma says Shayla told her.

As a result of the accusations, Norma was granted a restraining order against Tyrese. He is ordered to stay 100 yards away from Norma and Shayla. He also lost his visitation rights until the former couple’s next court appearance on Oct. 2.

Tyrese expressed his disappointment with the ruling in a statement to People. He says his main priority is co-parenting Shayla.

“After 9 years of working extremely hard to co-parent our child, I am disappointed to learn that the mother of my daughter has made gross and false accusations against my character in a shameful attempt to ruin our co-parenting efforts.

“There is nothing I love more in this world than my daughter and I would never do anything to harm her well-being or happiness. Co-parenting is tough and it’s unfortunate when your partner tries to sabotage the situation with hurtful lies and irrational behavior.”

Norma made further accusations in the court documents, including claiming Tyrese has been diagnosed with Bipolar disorder and manic behavior by three psychotherapists and that he prevented her from contacting their daughter while she was in his care.

She also claimed the actor is “[prone to] beat on the people he is in conflict with.” And she added he has hit her “a number of times in the past, including when I was pregnant with our daughter.”

Tyrese and Norma were married from 2007-09 and Shayla is their only child. Tyrese married his current wife, Samantha Lee Gibson, on Valentine’s Day this year in a secret ceremony.

Hotel Security Footage Shows Kenneka Jenkins Walking Into Freezer Alone, Chicago Activist Says

There has been a major development in the mysterious death of Kenneka Jenkins. According to a Chicago activist, hotel video surveillance shows the 19-year-old walking into an unused freezer alone before being found dead nearly 24-hours later.

Kenneka was found dead Sunday (Sept. 10) in a freezer after attending a hotel party with friends on Friday night. Her death has garnered much social media attention.

Andrew Holmes, an anti-violence activist, says he went to speak with Rosemont, Illinois detectives on behalf of Kenneka’s family seeking answers regarding her case. Holmes says detectives showed him surveillance video from Crowne Plaza Hotel.

According to the activist, Kenneka can be seen taking an elevator to a lower level of the hotel. Appearing disoriented, she wanders the floor opening several doors. She eventually makes her way to an “unsecured” kitchen area and opens two doors to a freezer. She walks in as the doors close behind her and never walks out.

“It was just an accident waiting to happen,” Holmes, a spokesman for violence victims, said.

Prior to wandering to the elevator, Holmes says security footage show Kenneka waiting in the lobby area of the hotel. This corroborates police previously stating Kenneka was seen on security footage “staggering” past the hotel’s front desk.

Holmes claims Kenneka was waiting in the lobby alone after her friends left her as they went back up to the hotel party to retrieve items they left. Remember, Kenneka’s friends were in possession of her cell phone and car keys, but it’s not clear if these are the items they went to retrieve.

Rosemont police have not confirmed that Holmes has seen this crucial surveillance video.

However, they did announce Wednesday (Sept. 13) that they had offered to show the footage to Kenneka’s mother, Tereasa Martin, and her lawyer. Martin had not seen the footage as of Thursday.

Martin has insisted, along with social media speculation, that her daughter was murdered and there was some sort of cover-up orchestrated by hotel employees or the killers.

Police say they have reviewed footage from 47 security cameras in the hotel, several social media videos of the party, and have interviewed 12 people “involved in some way.” Eight of these people were either at the hotel party Kenneka attended or was present the following morning.

Police are also looking to interview four specific people who were at the party, but didn’t offer details why they are especially crucial to the case.

Social media has become extremely invested in what happened to Kenneka. Many have posed theories suggesting her friends set her to be raped and/or killed, and that clues can found in videos of the party that were posted on social media.

However, police say these gruesome allegations and theories have become a hindrance to their investigation. Rosemont Mayor Bradley Stephens said:

“It’s unfortunate that some of that stuff’s convoluting the investigation because all those leads have got to be followed up on. As I’m sure you’ve seen, there’s a lot of different, conflicting speculation out there, so (police) are doing their best to come to a quick resolution, obviously. I think everybody wants to know what happened.”

Andrew Holmes also chalked up the theories as “just something they made up on social media.”

Kenneka’s case is currently being treated as a death investigation, with homicide or foul play being suspected. An autopsy failed to determine a cause of death and a toxicology report may take weeks or months.

Video footage of Kenneka Jenkins walking into the freezer alone is not expected to be released to the public until the investigation is complete.

New Videos Show Kenneka Jenkins Alive & Well During Hotel Party Shortly Before Her Death

Questions surrounding the death of Kenneka Jenkins grows as new video footage of her final moments surface. The new footage was recorded an hour after the viral alleged “help me” Facebook Live video recorded by Irene Roberts, and briefly shows Kenneka coherent and enjoying the hotel party.

Wednesday morning (Sept. 13), a new Facebook Live video from Ty Roland began circulating on social media which seemingly shows the party Kenneka and her friends attended at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago). Kenneka can be seen on two occasions (1:34 & 3:34). As the video shows, she is clearly alive and well.

Irene Roberts, the person who wore the heavily reflective sunglasses in the previous viral video, can also be spotted.

Unfortunately, the new video causes more questions than provides answers. For starters, its timestamp reveals it was recorded at 2:34 am CDT, a full hour after the Facebook Live video in which some people speculate Kenneka said “help me” before being raped or assaulted in some way.

Many more people are also featured in this video as the party seemed to be at its peak. Its even revealed a hotel manager asked them to bring down the noise. This means there are more witnesses to any crime that possibly occurred in the hotel room.

And probably the biggest observation is that Kenneka doesn’t appear to be drunk. Police initially said the 19-year-old was heavily intoxicated when she wandered into and trapped herself in an unused freezer. This video disputes that claim.

Though it’s possible she became drunk after the video, Kenneka’s friends reported her missing to her mother, Tereasa Martin, only an hour and a half later.

 

Randy Jackson Claims Janet’s Ex-Husband Wissam Al Mana Was “Abusive” & She Felt Like a Prisoner in Her Own Home

An unlikely person is giving us a glimpse into Janet Jackson’s marriage and divorce to Wissam Al Mana and he does not paint a pleasant picture. Steven Randall “Randy” Jackson just revealed his baby sister was in an “abusive” marriage and the situation has taken a toll on the singer.

In an exclusive interview with People, Randy Jackson says Al Mana was “verbally abusive” towards Janet.

“It was quite an abusive situation. It came on later in the relationship, verbal abuse and being [made to feel like] a prisoner in her own home. No pregnant woman needs to go through being called a b*tch every day. There were things like that. That’s what she went through.”

Janet and Al Mana, a billionaire Qatari businessman, secretly wed in 2012 and Janet retreated from the public spotlight as the couple lived in London. Janet announced she was divorcing Al Mana in an April video to her fans with Randy by her side.

The couple split just three months after Janet gave birth to their first child, Eissa Al Mana.

It was reported that religion and cultural differences was a factor in the unexpected split. Al Mana is Muslim, while Janet is Christian. A source recently told E! News:

“Janet and Wissam don’t see eye to eye on many things. One of the many divorcing factors was their religious beliefs. Wissam and Janet did not feel that they were on the same page when it came to this and the way they wanted their child to get raised. Janet is more of a free spirit than Wissam. Cultural difference and backgrounds played a major role.”

However, Randy says Al Mana being Muslim wasn’t the problem.

“I have a lot of Muslim friends and they don’t act that way at all. It’s a personal issue that he needs help with and I’m going to pray for him, too. But I’m not going to allow her to live in that abusive situation. She’s my baby sister.”

Randy, who lives near Janet and Al Mana’s shared London home, witnessed first-hand the issues of Janet’s marriage. Though he says it was never physical, he often urged her to leave.

“I told her, ‘You’ve got to move in with me or I’m going to go over there and there’s going to be hell.’ She was really pissed off. I told her, ‘I don’t care anymore. I’m tired of it. It’s too much.’”

The E! News source described Janet and Al Mana’s relationship as “toxic” and said “it could not be saved,” even though Janet tried.

“Wissam is a very strong minded individual and can come across being hard headed and judgmental at times. Janet started not to feel comfortable around her husband. While she was pregnant Wissam caused stress on Janet and it affected her stress level. They knew it was over before the baby was even born.”

And, according to Randy, Al Mana is making things difficult for his sister. He tells People she cries “night after night” since kicking off her tour earlier this month. The singer recently broke down onstage in Houston.

“What you saw in Houston, it was her situation coming out, what she’s been going through. The abuse is still going on. She has custody and he of course allowed her to bring the baby on tour, but it’s constant harassment.”

Attorneys for Wissam Al Man dispute Randy Jackson’s allegations in a statement released to People.

“Mr. Al Mana is not going to dignify these particular and deeply hurtful allegations with a response. The breakdown of his marriage to Janet Jackson is a cause of great sadness to Mr. Al Mana, and it is the wellbeing and privacy of their son, Eissa, that remains his sole focus.”

Randy’s interview with People is shocking to say the least. We really didn’t know Janet was going through so much. It’s unlike the Jackson family to reveal such private details, but Randy obviously felt like the situation was too serious not to speak up. He will continue to support his baby sis during this trying time.

Phaedra Parks “Desperate” for Money & Begging to Return to Real Housewives of Atlanta (Report)

Life post Real Housewives of Atlanta is not looking too good for Phaedra Parks. Though she has often claimed she has many jobs, the loss of a Bravo check has reportedly done severe damage to her bank account. So much so, that’s she’s begging producers for her peach.

A source tells Radar the lawyer and former RHOA star is “desperate for cash” and wants to return to the show in order to maintain her lavish lifestyle. Unfortunately for Phaedra, she’s being forced to reap what she sowed. RHOA producers want nothing to do with her.

“She has been in constant contact with producers asking to make a cameo or be part of the series in some capacity. They have repeatedly declined her offers because she no longer has an organic relationship with any of the season 10 cast members.”

Phaedra even told producers she would be willing to open up more about her personal life and date on camera. Her efforts were to no avail.

“The producers made it clear that they were more interested in following her story when she was married to Apollo since viewers could relate to the stigma of dating a man with a troubled past and his journey to rehabilitating his life.”

The source also added Phaedra is hard up for cash due to two properties she currently possesses.

“She’s trying to sell one of her homes and lease a recently purchased home because she doesn’t have the substantial income that she was earning on RHOA.”

We reported in July that Phaedra had placed a $2 million mansion for lease. She bought the property last year, but had not yet moved in. It was speculated she was requesting the $10,500 per month rent in order to supplement the loss of income from RHOA.

Once news of the lease hit the blogs, Phaedra (publicly) took down the online listing and claimed she never put her home on the market—another lie!

Phaedra was reportedly fired from the Bravo show in May after admitted she lied and started the rumor Kandi Burruss had a “sex dungeon” and had planned to date-rape Porsha Williams.

Though Bravo has not made an official statement regarding Phaedra’s firing, filming for season 10 of Real Housewives of Atlanta began a few months ago, sans Phaedra. She was replaced by returning OG NeNe Leakes and fellow OG Kim Zolciak-Biermann will make a few appearances as a “friend” to the show.

Real Housewives of Atlanta is expected to return in November on Bravo.

Serena Williams Shares First Images of Newborn Daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr.

We waited patiently and Serena Williams has finally decided she was ready to share the first photos of he daughter.

The tennis great took to Instagram on Wednesday (Sept. 13) to introduce the world to her first child, Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr. This was also the first time we learned the newborn’s name, which is after her father, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.

Williams also shared a video that documents little Alexis Olympia’s journey, which she and Ohanian recorded specifically for their daughter.

“OK, so, you’re pregnant,” a doctor tells Williams as we see an ultrasound. Private moments throughout Williams’ pregnancy are then shown. It concludes with Williams holding her daughter in her arms. “We had a lot of complications, but look what we got. We got a baby girl,” Williams says.

Alexis Ohanian, Sr. also expressed his joy of becoming a father in an Instagram post on Wednesday. He wrote:

“Welcome, Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr., we’re so happy to meet you. We made you a video of o ur adventure together so far (see bio). Our little girl is already mama’s perfect sidekick.”

Williams gave birth on September 1st in West Pal Bach, Florida. Alexis Olympia was 6 pounds, 14 ounces and, as Williams also noted, already has 1 Grand Slam title.

In case you forgot, (unbeknownst to the public) Serena was 8 weeks pregnant when she won the Australian Open in January 2017. So, I’m just gonna say it: Alexis Olympia is definitely a tennis great-in-training.

Kenneka Jenkins Video: Police Reviewing Viral Footage of Chicago Teen’s Final Moments Before Being Found Dead in Hotel Freezer

Police have confirmed they are reviewing several videos related to the death of 19-year-old Kenneka Jenkins, including the viral video that has caused speculation her death was the result of foul play.

DETAILS: Chicago Teen Found Dead in Hotel Freezer After Disappearing From Friends’ Party

The videos were recorded by “friends” of Kenneka just hours before she went missing at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Rosemont, Illinois (suburb near Chicago) on Saturday (Sept. 9) morning. Her body was discovered locked in an unused freezer in a vacant area of the hotel the following Sunday morning.

The 6-minute viral video in question was posted on Monifah Shelton’s Facebook page, but was recorded by Irene Roberts. Irene is wearing heavily reflective sunglasses, which many believe reveals Kenneka sitting on a bed with at least two men. At the 3:08 mark, social media sleuths claim to hear a faint voice (presumably Kenneka’s) saying “help me.”

Gary Mack, a spokesman for Rosemont confirmed on Monday (Sept. 11), investigators have reviewed the video and identified most of the people involved.

“Yes, they’ve looked at it and continue to look at it and all the other social media videos and posts. They are leaving no stone unturned as far as trying to corral everyone they can and talk to them and interview them about what happened and what was going on that night.”

The video has garnered over 4.5 million views and 54K shares. It has caused people to share on social media what they believe they see and hear in the video and to theorize what happened to the young woman by using the hashtag #KennekaJenkins.

Police are also reviewing hotel surveillance footage as well as other videos Monifah Shelton recorded on that night and posted them after her self-proclaimed “best friend” Kenneka went missing. One video shows the group of girls in their hotel bathroom and another in an elevator.


An autopsy conducted on Sunday (Sept. 10) failed to determine a cause of death. The medical examiner is still waiting on results of a toxicology report, which could take weeks, possibly even months.

Police told Kenneka’s mother, Teresa Martin, that her daughter was so intoxicated that she wandered into the freezer and was unable to get out. Martin does not believe this; mainly because a heavily inebriated Kenneka wouldn’t be able to open the freezer doors in the first place.

“It’s something that no one could ever imagine. It’s unbelievable. I believe that someone in this hotel kicked my child,” Martin said.

She also noted that Shelton and Robert’s story has changed “over and over.”

Despite the police’s initial explanation, Rosemont spokesman Gary Mack says police have not yet ruled out foul play. “I don’t think anything has been ruled in or ruled out at this point,” he said. “It’s just considered a death investigation at this point.”

But what this lady didn’t know is that her “fine man” was Ayana’s boyfriend of three years and they lived together.

Instead of confronting her co-worker on-sight, Ayana played along and hatched a cunning plan to expose her cheating boyfriend. The epic tale has become the latest Twitter story to go viral and she can tell it better that I can, so sit back and be captivated by #SameBae.

In an interview with Complex, Ayana explains this isn’t the first time she’s had a boyfriend cheat on her, but she wanted to approach the situation with a different tactic this time around.

“Not the first time I’ve been cheated on. And I ALWAYS react first, and ask questions later. When you do that you usually don’t get the answers you need.

“I decided to just let her do all the talking. I wanted to get everything I needed then decide how I should proceed. This was honestly the best way for me. Sad I had to bring her in the middle of it though.”

Ayana explained her anger about learning this detail to BET News.

“I had my suspicions but this just took the cake. I will say he did not know we worked together. But the fact that she literally lived right down the street from me meant he had absolutely no respect for me even possibly finding out.”

Ayana says she is done with her now-ex-boyfriend. With the exception of a text telling him to collect his stuff she’s packed, they’re not on speaking terms. The 26-year-old revealed to Complex she refuses to be played like she has in the past.

“I mean guys have cheated on me in the past. But I’m older now. I’m a college graduate and a business owner. I feel like I have grown up so much since my past relationships. I have learned so much about myself and my limits. I chose me this time.”

She has even worked things out with her co-worker, even apologizing for involving her in the viral Twitter rant.

“My coworker is very sweet. She had no idea. I was never mad at her. She has seen the thread and I apologized for not letting her know before hand. I also apologized to her for having to relive the moment via social media. She seemed forgiving.”

It’s unfortunate Ayana’s heartbreak has become a viral story for out entertainment, but at least she’s taking it in stride and growing from the horrible situation.

Kenneka Jenkins’ Mother Goes Off on Rosemont Police: “Them Bastards Couldn’t Even Help Us!”

Tereasa Martin, the mother of Kenneka Jenkins, is furious with the Rosemont, Chicago police over the way they initially handled the death investigation for her daughter.

19-year-old Kenneka Jenkins was pronounced dead in the early morning hours of Sunday, September 10th 2017 after having been found in a walk-in freezer at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Rosemont, a Chicago suburb.

Jenkins was supposed to be hanging out with her friends at a party in one of the hotel rooms late Friday night/early Saturday morning, but her friends called her mother around 4:30 a.m. Saturday saying that they couldn’t find her.

So Martin went to the hotel herself around 5 a.m., and after a missing persons report was filed, she asked police and hotel staffers to review the security cameras, which recorded Jenkins “staggering” drunk near the hotel’s front desk at 3:20 a.m. Saturday morning.

About 20 hours after Jenkins’ mother received that frantic phone call from her friends, Jenkins was found dead in the freezer.

In an exclusive interview with the Chicago Tribune, Jenkins’ mother spoke out against the Rosemont police, saying that when they told her her daughter was dead, they didn’t allow her to see her body until several hours later.

On top of that, when she asked for the names and badge numbers of the police sergeant and the detective handling the case, they initially refused to give them to her.

“After they declared she was dead, when I started asking can I see my baby baby body, and they first denied me. And I asked them for the detective name and sergeant name… When I asked the sergeant for his badge number, he said, ‘I gotta talk to the morgue.’

“I said, can I see how my baby lying down there and how she died? And they wouldn’t let me see my baby. They told me she was dead around 1 a.m. but they didn’t let me see her body until four hours later.”

Martin said when they did finally let her see her daughter’s body, they only allowed her and Kenneka’s sister in the room after they had defrosted the freezer and her body.

“They refused my mother, my sisters, her uncles. They refused my family to see her. They said, ‘Only you and your daughter can see her and you can’t take pictures because this is a crime scene.’

“At this time, they had let the morgue move her, and they defrosted the freezer. Her hair had water [in it]. They defrosted the whole freezer. I guess that’s why they gave it four hours, right? But I asked them ‘Can I see my daughter?’ Why I can’t see how she died?”

Police have no idea how Kenneka got into the freezer, but they theorized that she walked in there by herself while intoxicated. But Martin, who works in the foodservice industry, questioned how her daughter was able to open the heavy freezer doors by herself if she was so drunk.

“I know in the deep freezer at my job, you have to have some strength to yank the doors open. Now, mind you, they said she could barely hold herself up, let alone open a door. And the police department said, ‘Freak accidents like that do happen.'”

Martin also doesn’t understand how they don’t know how Kenneka got in the freezer because “there’s a camera sitting right outside.”

Martin then broke down into tears while describing how the police department treated her and her family.

“When they discovered her body, we wasn’t even allowed to stand in the hotel lobby. They put us out. We had to stand outside and look, just hoping and praying that we could get some kind of help. There were people looking at us like, ‘What they doing out here?’

“We were forbidden to come back into the hotel. So we’re [out there] begging for help, and the police department couldn’t even help us. After they found my baby dead, they couldn’t even help us. Them bastards! They couldn’t even help us!”

Martin also had words for the hotel, saying that neither them nor the police were very helpful and they didn’t take her repeated pleas for help seriously.

“To me, I feel like they helped kill my child: the police department and this hotel,” she told CBS Chicago.

Kenneka Jenkins’ death remains under investigation by Rosemont police. Jenkins’ friends and social media sleuths have accused her friends, Monifah Shelton, Irene Roberts and Shamaya Winder of setting her up.

An autopsy performed on Jenkins’ body on September 10th failed to determine a cause of death, and the medical examiner’s office has stated that they’re awaiting toxicology tests and further investigation by police, who have released few details, citing an open investigation.

At this time, Investigators are reviewing social media posts made by Shelton, Roberts and Winder, as well as a Facebook Live video that appears to show Jenkins’ final moments alive.

The video has been viewed millions of times and shared all over social media, and many believe some form of foul play happened in the room, however, police have yet to confirm this.

Gary Mack, a spokesman for Rosemont, told the Chicago Tribune that investigators are reviewing the footage and have identified most of the people in it.

“Yes, they’ve looked at it and continue to look at it and all the other social media videos and posts,” Mack said “They are leaving no stone unturned as far as trying to corral everyone they can and talk to them and interview them about what happened and what was going on that night.”

A viral post on Facebook Monday (Sep. 11) suggested that Irene Roberts had turned herself in to police for questioning, but that hasn’t been confirmed by officials nor have any credible media outlets reported on it.

Mack told the Tribune it may take weeks to find out what happened to Kenneka as the medical examiner’s office awaits results from the toxicology tests.

“I don’t think anything has been ruled in or ruled out at this point,” Mack said. “It’s just considered a death investigation at this point.”

Did Kenneka Jenkins’ “friend” Irene Roberts turn herself in to Chicago police for questioning in regards to Jenkins’ mysterious death? According to posts floating around Facebook, the answer to that question is yes.

Nothing has been confirmed by authorities or any local news outlets, but someone posted on Facebook Monday afternoon (Sep. 11) that Roberts was spotted in a police station station being questioned for her involvement in Jenkins’ death.

There’s also video footage of Roberts allegedly sitting in the in the police station:

The footage and screenshots are very blurry and you can’t tell if this is really Irene Roberts (who was spotted in a Facebook Live stream around the time Jenkins went missing), but it does look like her.

But, again, this has NOT been confirmed by any credible media outlets, so take this “news” with a grain of salt.

19-year-old Kenneka Jenkins was pronounced dead early Sunday morning (Sep. 10) after her body was found in a walk-in freezer in the kitchen area of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois–a suburb just outside of Chicago.

Folks on social media accused Kenneka’s friends Monifah Shelton, Irene Roberts and Shamaya Winder of luring Kenneka to a hotel party, where she was last seen alive. The women allegedly got Kenneka drunk and invited three men to the hotel room to sexually assault her.

The party was live streamed by Roberts on Facebook Live using Shelton’s account, and in the video footage (which is still posted on Shelton’s page), you can hear a lot of activity in the background, though it’s not clear who all was in the room at the time. Most of the video shows Roberts smoking weed with her friends and listening to music. You can also see Shelton in the footage, but apparently she didn’t want to be seen.

Social media sleuths have reviewed the footage multiple times and believe that the answers to any questions people have about Kenneka’s mysterious death can be found in the video. At one point in the video (around the 3-minute mark), a high-pitched sound can be heard, which some are speculating was Jenkins screaming “Help me!” as she was being sexually assaulted (or otherwise harmed) before her alleged screams were quickly drowned out by music.

Roberts can also be heard on the video mentioning $200, which some believe was either a payment from the men to have sex with Kenneka or what the women (Roberts and Shelton) paid the men to “take care of” (i.e. kill) her and hide her body.

Rosemont village spokesman Gary Mack said authorities have identified most of the people on the video.

“Yes, they’ve looked at it and continue to look at it and all the other social media videos and posts,” Mack told the Chicago Tribune on Monday. “They are leaving no stone unturned as far as trying to corral everyone they can and talk to them and interview them about what happened and what was going on that night.”

Mack said that to seasoned investigators, this type of social media attention has become the norm, and, fortunately, it doesn’t hurt the investigation. “In law enforcement this kind of social media has become king, so everybody with a camera is a reporter now, and they’re just taking it in stride as best they can,” he said.

Mack said it could take several weeks to determine what really happened due to toxicology tests routinely taking weeks, months even, to complete. “I don’t think anything has been ruled in or ruled out at this point,” he said. “It’s just considered a death investigation at this point.”

After Kenneka’s death was confirmed by police and subsequently local media outlets, the teenager’s friends took to social media and shared photos of her, with many of them directing their anger towards Roberts, who eventually deleted her Facebook page after many failed attempts to clear her name.

Before taking her page offline, Roberts tried to place the blame on Shelton, saying that she saw her carry Kenneka out of the hotel room and leave her in the hallway. “Man all I kno was nifah took ha out the room she never return wit ha,” she wrote. But Shelton wrote in a now-deleted post that she never took Kenneka out of the room, and Winder corroborated Shelton’s claims, writing:

“We never left, we was standing by our room door, we literally never left the 9th floor, our room # was 926, that’s what door we stood by, literally! We never walked off, she told me go get her phone out the room n that’s what I did.”

According to Kenneka’s mother, Tereasa Martin, the women called her at 4:30 a.m. Saturday morning after Kenneka went missing. They told her that when they were getting ready to leave the party, they realized Jenkins had left her cell phone and car keys back in the room. They said Jenkins stayed in the hallway while they retrieved her stuff, but when she got back to the hall, she was gone. Martin, however, says she doesn’t believe the women’s version of events because they have changed their stories multiple times.

When Martin arrived at the hotel around 5 a.m., she asked staffers to review surveillance footage of the area, but they refused, insisting that they needed a missing persons report from police to look at the tapes. Once that report was obtained, the Crowne Plaza hotel staff and management “actively canvassed and searched the immediate area,” police said.

In the early hours of Sunday, Jenkins was discovered lifeless in the freezer. She “was beyond resuscitation and was pronounced dead on the scene,” Rosemont police said. The police told her family that she was seen on the security footage around 3:20 a.m. Saturday morning “staggering” drunk near the hotel’s front desk, Martin told the Tribune Sunday.

Rosemont police told Martin Jenkins was intoxicated when she walked into the unused freezer, however, Martin says she has doubts about the authorities’ version of events because if her daughter was as drunk as police described her, she wouldn’t have been able to open the double steel doors of the freezer and close them herself.

Also, according to Gary Mack, the unused freezer was located in an under-construction area of the hotel where a new restaurant was being built. “This is not an area where anyone would typically be who was a guest in the hotel,” he told the Tribune.

In several Facebook posts before and after Kenneka’s body was found, Monifah Shelton repeatedly referred to her as her “best friend,” and lashed out at allegations that she and her friends were to blame for her death.

She wrote on Saturday night: “On kewan grave this shit blowin me when I saw kenneka wasn’t behide me we got the lookin everybody in that hotel room was laughing didn’t nobody bother to get tf up and help us I look for her to the top floor to the bottom I was knocking on mfs door rooms I look where the car was at & everything for y’all to sit on here and keep saying shit we Kno fucked up we was drunk wtf yall staying sayin it’s our fault like that shit so fuckin lame man den y’all wanna switch the story around I’m waiting to talk to the police if a mf knew some I would of said some I told her mom who all was there who the boys was & everything y’all steady blaming mfs”

“Bro I don’t give no fuck what nobody sayin I love u more then anything I will never hurt chu man come home please kenneka I never felt like this before you got me sick I Kno everybody gone talk but it don’t even matter just pop up come home god please let her return home safe amen,” she wrote in another post Saturday night.

“G she my bestfriend why would I do anything to harm her man just please leave me alone please,” she shared in another post Saturday. She wrote in another post that everyone was “drunk off our shit” and she had done everything she could to help find Jenkins in the hotel.

She wrote Sunday morning, “Can y’all please leave me alone bro we been bestfriend since 3rd grade we did everything together literally everything we use to call ourself the nene twins we slept together ate together broke bread together that was my ace it hurting me I never thought I was be doin this we suppose to be takin trips we had shit planned out I’m so sorry g  we sisters for life.”

“Everybody Kno our bond was tight she was the sweet friend I was the mean friend Mfs Kno I didn’t play about her & she didn’t play about me I’m so sorry this happen to u u didn’t deserve it u I’m missing tf outta u #Sister4Life,” she wrote in another post Sunday morning.

Shelton’s most recent update on Facebook was a profile photo she shared of her and Jenkins at 10:53 a.m. Sunday morning, which has fueled speculation that she committed suicide. But, as far as we know, those are just internet rumors (spread by a fake “clickbait” site called VybzMedia) and no credible news outlets have reported on that.
