WATCH: Blac Chyna, Rob Kardashian & Family Do Mannequin Challenge in Delivery Room

Blac Chyna, Rob Kardashian and their family may have just won the #MannequinChallenge FOREVER with this one!

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna took the Mannequin Challenge to a whole new level Thursday (Nov. 10) just moments before Chyna gave birth to their daughter, Dream Renee Kardashian.

WATCH HERE:

https://www.instagram.com/p/BMpaNqRhcp2/

The staged video shows Chyna — who actually delivered via C-section — posing in the “pushing position” as she’s flanked by Dream Kardashian’s grandmothers Kris Jenner and Tokyo Toni (Rob & Chyna’s moms) on either side, while dad Rob Kardashian sits at the end of the bed with his arms stretched out ready to “catch” the baby as it pops out.

Chyna’s BFF Paige can also been seen in the video “recording” the birth, as well as step-grandpa Corey Gamble (Kris Jenner’s boyfriend), who appears to be reading test results with a technician. And even though we can’t see her, Baby Dream is probably in mommy’s tummy frozen in time with the rest of her family too.

The video, which is of course backed by Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles” (the official song for the Mannequin Challenge), was initially posted on Chyna’s Instagram and has since gone viral, with over 3 million views.

Sucks for you if you planned on doing the Mannequin Challenge anytime soon, because we doubt whatever you do won’t top this one.

Dream Kardashian Photos: Meet Blac Chyna & Rob Kardashian’s Newborn Baby Girl

Baby Dream Kardashian is barely 12 hours old and she’s already an adorable viral sensation.

As we previously reported, Blac Chyna gave birth to Dream via C-section Thursday morning (Nov. 10) at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. According to reports, she utilized the same $4,000/night hospital suite Kim used when she gave birth to Saint West.

Not too long after Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna welcomed Baby Dream into the world, a photo of the newborn baby, wrapped in the signature blue and pink swaddle blanket all newborn babies get in the hospital, was published via E! News:

E! News has an exclusive first photo of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s baby girl, Dream Renee Kardashian, who was born Thursday morning at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. The exclusive pic shows Rob and Chyna’s newborn daughter lying in a blanket with a blue and pink beanie on. Little Dream gently holds on to a hand, which appears to belong to papa Rob. The newborn looks peaceful as she stares up at her dad with her dark, piercing eyes.

Proud dad Rob Kardashian reposted the photo on his own Instagram page along with the following message:

Today was amazing 🙂 I am so lucky!! Thank you @blacchyna for having our baby and being so strong ! I love you so much and can’t wait to see her get older day by day with you Chy! I love you and Dream so much and Appreciate both of you … I know everyone saying that’s my twin but that’s def your nose Chy lol

Blac Chyna’s BFF Amber Rose also posted a photo of Baby Dream on Twitter. “A Dream come true #DreamKardashian,” she wrote.

Dream Kardashian: Blac Chyna Gives Birth, Welcomes Baby Girl With Rob Kardashian

She’s here! “Baby Kardashian” finally made her big arrival today.

Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian officially welcomed their first child together, a baby girl they named “Dream,” into the world. Chyna reportedly gave birth to the couple’s daughter at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles Thursday morning (Nov. 10). She weighed in at seven pounds, five ounces.

The baby’s full name is Dream Renee Kardashian (Chyna’s middle name is Renee), and she is the first baby in the family to carry the world-famous “Kardashian” name — Kourtney’s children, Mason, Penelope and Reign, all have the last name “Disick” (from their dad Scott Disick) and Kim’s two kids, North and Saint, have “West” as a surname, thanks to their father Kanye West.

According to TMZ, Baby Dream Kardashian was born via C-section at around 9:18 A.M. Thursday morning, and yes, cameras were rolling throughout the entire birth, in case you were wondering. TMZ reported earlier this month that Rob and Chyna were “set to make hundreds of thousands of dollars by bringing TV viewers into the hospital delivery room.”

The couple and their newborn will reportedly star in a “baby special,” which will not only include footage of the birth, but also footage of Chyna’s baby shower, other events leading up to the delivery and the first few days of Baby Dream Kardashian’s life. Their eponymous reality show, Rob & Chyna, was also renewed by E! for a second season.

This makes the Baby No. 1 for Rob Kardashian and the second one for Blac Chyna, who also shares a son, 3-year-old King Cairo, with her ex-boyfriend Tyga, who has been dating Rob’s sister Kylie Jenner since 2014, which means that Dream and King are not only brother and sister, but also step-cousins.

Kris Jenner, who is now officially a proud grandmother of six, gushed to E! News over Baby Dream Kardashian’s birth. “I got to watch [the] delivery,” she said. “It was so beautiful and I’m so excited and happy to have another grandchild! No. 6! It was one of the most precious moments of my life.”

Auntie Khloe Kardashian also expressed her joy over the birth of her new niece. “My new niece is absolutely stunning!!!” she shared on Twitter. “So thankful I was able to land in time to witness this miracle happen! Praise God!”

Hillary Clinton Lost the Election Because Millions of Democrats Did Not Vote

Donald Trump will be the next President of the United States of America. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but the more you say it out loud, the easier it is to digest.

Early projections and polls stated that even though this would be an extremely close race, Clinton had this in the bag, but as we all discovered on Election Night 2016, that was far from the truth.

A lot of political pundits and talking heads are suggesting that Republicans came out in droves this year to support their candidate, but according to a new graph showing popular vote totals from the last three elections, it looks like millions of Democrats simply did not vote this year.

Hillary Clinton didn’t lose the election because Republicans grew their base. She lost because the Democrats chose not to vote this year, compared to the previous two elections, in which Democrats came out in much larger numbers to support Obama.

On top of that, according to Thursday morning (Nov. 10) projections from the United States Elections Project, out of the 231,556,622 eligible voters, only 131,123,000 voters actually went out to the polls to cast their vote (leaving over 100 million votes on the table).

If you look at the graph above, the number of Republicans who voted for Donald Trump was less than the same number who voted for Mitt Romney in 2012 and John McCain in 2008.

In 2008, nearly 70 million Democrats voted for Obama compared to the 60 million Republicans. In 2012, the number dropped down to 66 million Dems compared to around 61 million Repubs. But in 2016? The number of Democrats voting dropped SIGNIFICANTLY, with just under 60 million, compared to the just under 60 million GOP members who voted.

So, this year, around the same amount of Democrats voted as Republicans, which explains why Donald Trump was able to win so many battleground states.

Blame it on Hillary Clinton’s sketchy background, or blame it on the lack of enthusiasm most Dems had for her campaign, but for whatever reason, millions of Democrats chose to either stay at home this year or vote for one of the third-party candidates.

Had Democrats actually got out and voted (or voted for Clinton instead of third-party candidates), Secretary Clinton would have likely won the Election and we would be preparing to swear her into office instead of Donald Trump.

And we wouldn’t have photos like this circulating in the media:

hillary-clinton-supporters-crying

So, if you really wanted Hillary Clinton to win, and you’re looking for a group of people to blame, don’t blame the Republicans; don’t blame the insanely large number of white men (and women) who voted for Trump; don’t blame the media; don’t blame the FBI; don’t blame Florida. And don’t blame social media.

The only people who are to be blamed for Hillary Clinton losing this election are the millions upon millions of Democrats who refused to vote for her.

The good news for Democrats is that Donald Trump, who did NOT win the popular vote (Clinton had 59.5 million votes compared to Trump’s 59.3 million), is the weakest and least popular president-elect in history.

Unless Trump somehow experiences a surge in popularity as president (which is possible, but not likely), Democrats should be able to take the White House back in the 2020 election. He did not run a good campaign, and as an incumbent, he should be beatable.

If the same Democrats who voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012 (and refused to vote for Hillary in 2016) were to vote in 2020, the Democratic nominee would win by a landslide.

As of today, there are 1,454 days until Election Day 2020. Democrats have a LOT of work to do between now and then to unify the party so that this never happens again.

Inauguration Day 2017: When Will President-Elect Donald Trump Be Sworn Into Office?

“When does the new president get sworn into office?”

With the election now over, many are now wondering when the next President of the United States of America, which just so happens to be Donald Trump, will be officially sworn into office to take over the reins of our country.

Before President-elect Donald Trump can begin his task of “Making America Great Again,” he and his VP, Mike Pence, have to be officially sworn into office on Inauguration Day, which will be on Friday, January 20th 2017.

President Obama will serve as the president of the United States until noon EST on January 20th 2017. The swearing in ceremony, organized by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies, will be held at the United States Capitol building.

Per tradition, the vice president, Mike Pence, will be sworn in first, followed by the new president, Donald Trump.

After the ceremony, in which they’ll take the Oaths of Office Trump and Pence, the new president and VP, will attend a luncheon held by Congress, where they will be the guests of honor (obviously). The luncheon will be followed by a parade down Pennsylvania Avenue.

The public is invited to attend the ceremony, as well as members of Congress, Supreme Court justices, high-ranking military officers, former presidents, living Medal of Honor recipients and other dignitaries, including community activists and leaders.

While scoring tickets to the actual inauguration ceremony is no easy task (especially at this point), people who travel to Washington, D.C. can still partake in the festivities by viewing from along the National Mall.

Of course, not everyone can make the journey to D.C. to see the inauguration festivities in person, so a number of major TV networks will be broadcasting live on that day. You can check your local listings for more details closer to that day.

Harambe & Hennessy: Thousands of Americans Voted for Dead Gorilla & Liquor Instead of Trump or Clinton?

It’s the day after “Election Day 2016,” and while everyone is trying to figure out what was so wrong with our country that it decided to elect a man like Donald Trump as president comes “news” about a crazy rumor suggesting that a large number of Americans literally PLAYED with their vote by voting for an animal (or a bottle of liquor) instead of the 2 humans chosen to represent our nation’s biggest political parties.

When faced between “corrupt/lying” Democrat Hillary Clinton and “racist/sexist/xenophobic” Republican Donald Trump, many Americans were vocal about not being able choose what side of history they wanted to be on, which is totally understandable. Lots of Republicans didn’t want to vote for Trump, and, for what it’s worth, lots of Democrats didn’t want to vote for Clinton, which made things overall VERY confusing and/or frustrating.

Apparently, the hate for both candidates was so strong that some Americans decided to vote for Harambe (you know, the dead gorilla), while others decided to vote for Hennessy, a type of cognac that is very popular among Black people.

There are claims online that Harambe received an INSANE amount of votes — over 10,000 — however, because “Harambe” (and “Hennessy” too) — were write-in votes, they weren’t officially counted. This means that while some people likely did vote for “Harambe and Hennessy,” it would be nearly impossible to know the exact number.

Even though this was clearly a close race, it’s also highly unlikely that those votes effectively “gave” Trump the election, considering his margins were more than 50,000 in some of the states he won.

But that hasn’t stopped Twitter from being pissed off and expressing their distaste for American citizens who basically threw away their votes (even though the number hasn’t been confirmed):

https://twitter.com/BrandiAnn_/status/796230873792258048

https://twitter.com/aidenbiz/status/796228389765988352

https://twitter.com/csydelko/status/796223990029119488

https://twitter.com/GoCrazyHecToR/status/796256891395391488

So, the answer to your question of “Did 15,000 Americans REALLY vote for Harambe (or Hennessy)?” is probably NO.

Maybe a few hundred threw away their vote for a dead gorilla and/or a bottle of liquor, but anyone who is reporting numbers in the thousands are probably basing it on this fake report from satire website Daily Snark and shouldn’t be trusted anyhow.

Stevie Wonder: Voting for Donald Trump Is Like Asking Me to Drive You to the Hospital

If you were in an emergency and needed someone to drive you to the hospital, would you let Stevie Wonder get behind the wheel? If you answered “YES” to that question, you obviously don’t care for your life, just like if you vote for Donald Trump, you obviously don’t care about your life or the lives of others.

Voting for Donald Trump is just like asking Stevie Wonder to get behind the wheel of a vehicle, so says Stevie Wonder HIMSELF.

The 66-year-old music legend, who was basically born blind (he went blind shortly after birth), made the hilarious (but VERY TRUE) comparison in an interview with Philly.com Friday (Nov. 4) after his Get Out the Vote concert in support of Hillary Clinton in Philladelphia.

“If you had an emergency situation and needed to go to the hospital, and you had to get there right away, would you want me driving your car?” he asked, to which the reporter replied “no.” He added, “Because I’m not an experienced driver, right?”

The 66-year-old then said Clinton’s track record alone makes her a better candidate.

“So my belief is that Hillary is an experienced person of the government, and she has spent 30 years with a commitment. Not to mention that her parents taught her in a kinder way, to have respect and love for all people. That’s the person I want to govern, to be the leader of this nation,” he said.

The 25-time Grammy award winner also slammed Trump for using his platform to make negative remarks about women, Muslims and Latinos. Wonder said that he would hate to have the “last years of my life in a place of pessimism” under a Trump presidency.

“This is not a reality show. This is life in reality,” he said. “So I’m with her because I believe in where we are, and where we are going to go. I have always believed that America is great. We’re just going to make it greater.”

So when you go out to the polls today (if you haven’t already), remember this: You wouldn’t let a blind man drive, so don’t give a greasy cheese ball the ability to run an entire country.

Phaedra is in the process of finalizing her divorce from Apollo. T.I. Reprimands His “Friend” Lil’ Wayne Over Black Lives Matter Comments

Things just ain’t the same for gangstas…

Back in the day, if a rapper had an issue with another rapper, they used to talk it out man to man, or they’d squad up and have a stare-off at the club or the street corner.

But in 2016, rappers are confronting their peers on Instagram and Twitter. Even among so-called friends.

T.I., who swears he is very cool with Lil’ Wayne, called his “friend” out on social media after footage of Wayne dismissing and disparaging the Black Lives Matter movement hit the web. Tip claims he was shocked and confused by the interview after he alleges his son and daughter showed him the clip, asking him what Wayne meant by the comments.

This is my son & daughter showing me this for the first time & asking me what you mean? I’m at a complete loss of words here. Wayne I’ve known you over a decade. Our daughters grew up together practically. Reginae’ spent countless times at my house with Niq-Niq when you were in prison & you extended my daughter the same courtesy when I was in the same position. Our relationship outside of music is what makes me sensitive to your disposition. I KNOW you wired a bit different than most other responsible adults, but still nigga U TRIPPING!!!! I don’t know what you goin thru,or what you are attempting to avoid but this shit is absolutely unacceptable!!!! You’re disrespecting yourself, bringing shame on your family name & tarnishing your legacy. You have children (including mines prior to now) that have looked up to you. You have sons & a daughter that depend upon your leadership. Bro if you don’t stand for something out here, all the money, jewelry, cars, mansions bandannas & hit records don’t mean shit!!!! Our people are being oppressed!!! We are being hunted, captured & slaughtered out here daily!!! You have to get outta that bubble that you’ve been living in & get out here & educate yourself on what’s going on around US!!! I’m always here to share whatever knowledge or understanding I may have to assist your growth & development, but u MUST STOP this buffoonery & coonin’ you out here doin. You looking like somebody who has something to gain or lose by pretending like it’s not as bad as BLM making it seem & you’re not aware of an issue that needs to be addressed. That’s what would be considered “Uncle Tom Shit”…. I know U,YOURE BETTER THAN THIS!!!!! I’ve been proud to call myself a fan & a friend of Lil Wayne ,but if that must end in order to stand up for those who can’t do it for themselves…So be it. If you’re not prepared for a question in an interview, say No Comment Bro. But stop embarrassing yourself & everyone out here who’s been supporting you. There is no middle ground. Oppression knows no neutral party, either you’re part of the oppressed,or you with the oppressor. There is no such thing as oppression not affecting you. It’s #USorELSE out here

Lil’ Wayne, understandably, was rather unimpressed with T.I.’s social media soliloquy.

So here’s the deal: While what Wayne said about the Black Lives Matter movement was absolutely idiotic and reprehensible, a “friend” does not address this kind of thing on social media first.

If T.I. was truly concerned, he could’ve called Wayne or at the very least texted him. A friend gives a friend the benefit of having a PRIVATE conversation before airing them out publicly.

T.I. made it clear that he was ready and willing to put his on the hot seat. And for what? Extra followers and retweets?

If you’re going to go with a social media first approach, then definitely don’t call these people your friends. Get the attention you so clearly seek and keep it movin’.

P.S. T.I. needs to get his kids a new phone that doesn’t have a cracked screen on it.

Keep scrolling for more info. on each cast member, as well as spoilers and the synopsis for Season 9.

KANDI BURRUSS

kandi-burruss

Kandi Burruss is a Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter who lives in Atlanta with her 14-year-old daughter Riley, 20-year-old stepdaughter Kaela and her husband of 2 years Todd Tucker.

In Season 9, Kandi and Todd are showing off their newborn son, Ace Wells Tucker and are enjoying parenthood together, while also working to get their new restaurant, OLG Restaurant, open and serving customers. Later in the season, Kandi will open up about her “baby daddy,” Riley’s father Russell Spencer, and the issues they’ve had between them over the years.

She’ll also be dealing with rumors that she’s a lesbian, and of course Mama Joyce is back to stirring up trouble and bringing the drama as she drudges up past issues between Kandi and Phaedra.

CYNTHIA BAILEY

cynthia-bailey

Supermodel Cynthia Bailey lives in Atlanta with her 16-year-old daughter Noelle. She’s still running The Bailey Agency School of Fashion, but she now has a few new business ventures, including her successful eyewear line, Cynthia Bailey Eyewear, and her recently launched leather goods line, Cargo By Cynthia Bailey.

Now that she’s finally facing the music regarding the end of her marriage, Cynthia Bailey is looking forward to divorcing her husband Peter Thomas, who was accused of infidelity last year when video footage leaked of Peter being hugged up with another woman at one of his nightclubs.

Cynthia and Peter are now officially separated, and in the premiere episode, Peter makes it clear that he doesn’t want the divorce, but Cynthia says that unlike Peter, she doesn’t want to be married “just to be married.” In teaser clips showing what to expect for the rest of the season, Noelle seems to be worried about her mother’s self-esteem after hearing her and Peter fighting all of the time.

PHAEDRA PARKS

The Real Housewives of Atlanta - Season 8

Phaedra Parks is a self-proclaimed “Southern Belle” who lives in Buckhead, Atlanta’s prestigious community, along with her two young sons. She’s best known as an entertainment attorney and the Managing Partner of The Parks Group, P.C., a national boutique law firm that represents a variety of clients in the entertainment and sports industry. Phaedra is also a best-selling author, funeral director, entrepreneur and a social/political activist.

With her estranged husband Apollo still serving time in prison, Ms. Phaedra is raising her boys Ayden and Dylan as she waits for her divorce to be finalized. Like Peter Thomas, Apollo Nida is NOT eager to get divorced. This season, she’s hired a “governess” named Lisa to help her with her sons, and in a conversation with Porsha, she reveals that she wants some “hardwood loving,” however, she isn’t ready to date just yet.

KENYA MOORE

The Real Housewives of Atlanta - Season 8

Originally from Detroit, Kenya Moore now resides in Atlanta by herself. At one point, she was working to move in with her boyfriend Matt Jordan, but in the Season 9 premiere, she explained that they were not together after Jordan blew up on her while they were on vacation in Mexico.

According to Kenya, Matt became jealous after he went through her phone one night, and he was so enraged that he kicked her door in and trashed their room. Kenya said at that point, she decided that she couldn’t be in a volatile relationship like that, but she wishes that things were different between them. They appear to have gotten back together later in the season, and recent rumors suggest that the couple is currently dating.

In the RHOA Season 9 premiere, we also finally get to see Kenya’s house “Moore Manor,” which still isn’t completely done, but it’s (mostly) livable, so she celebrates that with a huge housewarming party, which she invites everyone to but Porsha because of an incident at the end of last season when she chased a woman down the street.

PORSHA WILLIAMS

porsha-williams

Porsha Williams was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and she’s known as the granddaughter of Civil Rights leader and philanthropist, Rev. Hosea Williams. She’s still thriving in her career as an entertainment news correspondent on The Ricky Smiley Morning Show on “Dish Nation,” and she’s also working on some new business ventures, including luxury hair products and an innovative fitness app.

Porsha’s friendship with Phaedra seems to have grown, as evidenced by Phaedra bringing her along as her plus one to Kenya’s “Moore Manor” housewarming party. Kenya made it clear in her shady invitation that she didn’t want Porsha there, and while Porsha doesn’t want to go, she tells the cameras that she’s only going because Phaedra asked her too, and she doesn’t want to start any trouble in Kenya’s new house.

The Season 9 premiere episode ends with Porsha “crashing” Kenya’s party and Kenya asking to speak with her. Uh-oh…

SHEREE WHITFIELD

sheree-whitfield

And last, but certainly not least, is Sheree Whitfield, an original RHOA cast member who was on the show’s first four seasons that has returned as a main cast member for Season 9 (after coming back as a “friend” last season). Sheree, a socialite and longtime resident of the ATL, is a single mother to her three children, Kairo, Kaleigh and Tierra. She has recently taken on the role of “Momager” as she supports Kairo in his dreams of becoming a model.

This season, we finally get to see the INSIDE of her infamous “Chatea Sheree” McMansion that has been a topic of discussion for YEARS. Last season, she made a bet with Kenya on whose house would be finished first, and this season, the two continue to throw shade at each other over their incomplete homes.

Meanwhile, it looks like Sheree and her ex-husband Bob Whitfield are in a much better place as they mend their relationship, and possibly move towards remarrying … even though Sheree made it clear in the Season 9 premiere episode that they are strictly platonic friends.

Read the official synopsis (via Bravo press release) for “Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 9 below:

If you thought the property-fueled face-off between Sheree Whitfield and Kenya Moore was feisty last season, it’s about to heat up even more. “My name is on my home,” Kenya says. “Your mother’s name is on Chateau Thelma.” Oh, snap!

Meanwhile, Kandi Burruss’ daughter, Riley, faces some of her own growing pains with Kandi, who revealed that “Riley’s old enough to say whether she wants to have a relationship with her dad.” However, it doesn’t look like that journey will be a smooth one.

After dealing with marital strife last season, Cynthia Bailey meets with a lawyer to discuss ending her marriage to Peter Thomas. “I want a divorce,” she says, while Peter pledges, “I was in it til we died.”

Despite Kenya and Matt Jordan falling for one another last season, viewers will see how their relationship took a turn for the worse.

Did the CMAs Erase Beyoncé From Their Social Media & Website to Appease White, Racist Viewers?

Beyoncé and the Dixie Chicks brought the house down Wednesday night (Nov. 2) at the 50th annual Country Music Association Awards with a joint performance of Daddy Lessons, a song from Beyoncé’s critically acclaimed visual album Lemonade.

But, you wouldn’t know that if you decided to check out the CMA’s official website or their social media pages. Why? Because they deleted all traces of the quartet’s performance.

Don’t believe us? Well, carry yourself on over to their Twitter or Facebook pages, scroll until you get to November 1st, and come back and let us know if you see anything about Beyoncé and the Dixie Chicks. As a matter of fact, don’t even waste your time because you won’t see anything. It’s not there. It’s as if the performance NEVER EVEN HAPPENED.

Even the official website of the Country Music Association, CMAWorld.com, was completely scrubbed of any mention of Beyoncé and the Dixie Chick’s performance. (FYI: They later added her picture to the performers and presenters page in the Awards section, but that was after they were called out about deleting her in the first place.)

From TMZ:

Sources directly connected with the CMAs tell TMZ the honchos folded to fans who posted racist and other harsh comments. We’re told the honchos were especially concerned about the reaction to Beyonce’s support and the support of the Dixie Chicks for the Black Lives Matter movement.

Some of the comments included, “That’s right folks. Beyonce performed at the CMAs last night & is on a mission to take country music away from us, hardworking white people!” And, “Beyonce overrated racist n***er bitch.” The comments go on … “@Beyonce the cop hater? No thanks,” and, “What place does @Beyonce who vilifies police officers who keep us safe have to do with #CMAawards50?”

In addition to its website, the CMAs have scrubbed the women from all social media platforms. They did not delete the women from Snapchat … they only deleted the ladies from CMA accounts where users can place comments.

We’re told the CMA people “just want this to go away” and feel it was probably a mistake to invite the 4 women in the first place.

We already knew racist white people weren’t too enthused with Beyoncé’s performance (they expressed as much on social media when it was announced earlier that day), but it’s a bit distressing to know that the organizers of the show felt the need to cater to them and “just want this to go away.”

They were happy to use Beyoncé to bring in those extra eyeballs, and once the sh*t hit the fan, they deleted everything and pulled a Homer Simpson:

All because of ridiculous, nefarious, racist comments like these:

https://twitter.com/Mona_Horton/status/793997372678225920

And this is an actual comment we witnessed on a People.com article about Beyoncé’s presence at the CMAs:

Wow. Just … WOW. And this is the type of stuff that is “normal” in 2016?

Now that the story of them washing everything Beyoncé from their website and social media pages has gained some traction, the Country Music Association is trying to save face by reposting a photo from Beyoncé and offering this piss poor excuse of an explanation that they’re calling a statement (via Billboard):

“CMA has not erased any mentions of Beyoncé’s performance on the CMA awards. In advance of the broadcast, CMA removed a five-second promotional clip from ABC.com and CMA’s Facebook page. The promo was unapproved and CMA removed it prior to the broadcast. Beyoncé’s performance with the Dixie Chicks was a highlight of the evening and we are continuing to share the amazing full-length performance clip via our official social channels.”

Meanwhile, Sarah Trahern, the Country Music Association’s chief executive, is placing the blame on Beyoncé. She told the NY Times that Team Bey asked them to remove a promotional clip teasing the performance.

“Beyoncé’s team hadn’t approved that, so we pulled it down,” Trahern said of the teaser. “Fans can get kind of passionate and read other things into it.” Trahern added that Beyoncé provided her own photographer and her team only approved one official live video of the performance on ABC.com.

“We stand by it,” Trahern said of the performance. “If a program moves people so much one way or another, I think we’ve had a successful show. We believe in free speech and people can post what they’re going to post. It’s about the music, not about politics.”

Thursday night (Nov. 3), the Dixie Chicks took to Twitter to share their feelings on the incident:

Also, for what it’s worth, DC frontwoman Natalie Maines seems to be totally unbothered:

And we think this tweet sums up the whole situation:

WATCH: The Moment Fans Outside Wrigley Found Out Cubs Won the World Series

The Chicago Cubs did it! They won the 2016 World Series, overcoming a 3-1 deficit and defeating the Cleveland Indians 8-7, ending a 108-year title drought. It took the Cubs a long time to get to this point, considering the last time they won the world series, TVs didn’t even exist — you listened to the game on the radio.

So yeah, a lot has changed since the last time the Cubs won the World Series. But one thing that hasn’t changed is the spirit of the team’s most diehard fans, which could be observed outside Wrigley Field Wednesday night (Nov. 2).

wrigley-field-cubs-win-marquee

As you can imagine, Cubs fans completely lost their collective sh*ts after the final out when the marquee outside the Chicago stadium read, “CUBS WIN!”

WATCH HERE (VIA EARTH CAM):

Notice how a lot of people were cheering before the sign changed because they were watching the game on their phone, but once the marquee said those glorious two words (“CUBS WIN”), the ENTIRE crowd erupted with cheers.

Even if you’re not a Cubs fan and/or couldn’t give two wet farts about baseball, it’s refreshing seeing a group of diehards who’ve been waiting their whole lives for this moment finally getting the chance to celebrate a big win like this.

Also, is this (see below) real?

Because if so, whoever was running the marquee last night is a straight up SAVAGE.

Chicago Cubs Championship Parade Info: Where & When Will It Be? [UPDATED]

UPDATE: The Chicago Tribune is reporting that the Cubs will be honored Friday (Nov. 4) with a “parade to stand the test of time,” Mayor Rahm Emanuel said early Thursday. As far as the time is concerned, he said it would be around noon. He said specifics were being worked out “as we speak.”

He also didn’t have any details regarding a possible route, he just told reporters to “stand somewhere in the middle of the city and you’ll see it.”

“I just talked to [Cubs chairman/owner] Tom Ricketts. I talked to him yesterday a couple times, I talked to him this morning again,” Emanuel said when asked about the parade. “I think all of us would just want 20 minutes of consistent sleep, then we’re gonna — Here’s the thing: we’re going to have a parade in Chicago that will stand the test of time. Chicago Cubs fans, rejoice! (As if we needed to tell you that.) After approximately 1,234 years (OK, not really, but 108 years is a LONG TIME) the Chicago Cubs are World Series champs!

After beating the Cleveland Indians 8-7 and winning three straight games, the Chicago Cubs officially put an end to their 108-year title drought during Game 7 of the 2016 MLB World Series at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio Wednesday night (Nov. 2). And you know what that means… Parties and parades!

While this won’t be the first championship parade for Chicago — the NHL’s Blackhawks have won three Stanley Cup titles since 2010 and the White Sox (Chicago’s other baseball team) won the World Series in 2005 — this will be the first time in over 100 years that the city’s Cubs fans can celebrate winning the World Series they, which is a HUGE deal.

Though official details regarding the parade have yet to be revealed (keep checking back here for updates!) it’s safe to say the crowd turnout will be the biggest the city of Chicago has ever seen!

Just look at this massive crowd for the Blackhawks Stanley Cub parade at Grant Park in 2013:

Meanwhile, some are estimating that upwards of 250,000 people (or more) could attend the celebration ceremonies.

As for the actual details regarding the official city parade, which, again, haven’t been revealed just yet, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel — a big-time Cubs fan who reportedly wanted to dye the Chicago river “Cubbie Blue” — said in a post-game interview on the field that officials weren’t ready to announce anything at the moment.

“We’ll tell you when we are ready,” he told Fox 32 (according to DNAinfo Chicago) about a possible ticker tape parade.

Asked when it will be, Cubs President Theo Epstein said: Team Chairman Tom Ricketts said probably Friday, the Tribune’s Paul Sullivan reported.

Cubs President Theo Epstein was also asked about parade and rally plans. His response? “I have no idea, either Friday or Monday, I imagine.” Team Chairman Tom Rickets said the parade is “probably Friday,” as reported by the Chicago Tribune sportswriter Paul Sullivan.

USA Today columnist Bob Nightengale also said the parade will most likely be Friday.

So, there you have it! It could be Friday, it could be Monday. We just have to wait and see what happens from here. Stay tuned for details on when and where the Chicago Cubs championship parade will be as we will keep this post updated with the latest information.

Listen + Download: Beyoncé feat. Dixie Chicks – “Daddy Lessons” Remix (New Music)

Hot on the heels of her “surprise” Country Music Awards (CMAs) performance of “Daddy Lessons” with the Dixie Chicks, Beyoncé decided to treat fans with the studio version of the song’s “remix” featuring Dixie Chicks singers Natalie Maines, Emily Robinson and Martie Maguire.

The song was posted to Beyoncé’s official website as well as uploaded to Soundcloud, where you can not only stream it, but download it also. No official word on whether or not the “Daddy Lessons” remix featuring the Dixie Chicks will be released to radio as a single, though we wouldn’t be surprised if it were.

Also, be sure to listen to the end of the recording to catch some chit-chat between the collaborators.

WATCH: Beyoncé & the Dixie Chicks Perform “Daddy Lessons” at the CMA Awards

After an extremely lengthy wait (it literally seemed like FOREVER!), Beyoncé FINALLY graced the stage with the Dixie Chicks tonight at the 2016 Country Music Awards (CMAs) and performed “Daddy Lessons” as promised.

Initial reports stated that Queen Bey and the Dixie Chicks would open the show, however, that didn’t happen. In fact, they didn’t hit the stage until a little after 10:05 p.m. (with ZERO introduction, might we add) and the quartet did not disappoint for the show’s 50th annual show, which the CMAs touted as “Country Music’s Biggest Night Ever.”

Dressed up in a sparkly gown with puffed shoulders (similar to what she wore in the Lemonade visual) and backed by a full brass and bluegrass band — including a saxophonist with some impressive footwork — Beyoncé and the three ladies of the Dixie Chicks (Martie Erwin Maguire, Emily Erwin Robison, and lead singer Natalie Maines) brought the house all the way down with their “surprise” performance.

The Dixie Chicks even mixed in a little bit of their hit single “Long Time Gone” as well! Overall, the four ladies did their thing and it was great seeing Beyoncé performing at an atypical awards show. Also, pay close attention to the end when the crowd cheers and Natalie says, “Good job, B!” like how Blue does on the album.

The 2016 Country Music Awards aired on ABC live from Nashville, TN.

Beyoncé’s Country Music Awards (CMAs) Performance: Best Tweets & Memes

In case you haven’t heard, Beyoncé is performing tonight at the 50th annual Country Music Awards!

Rumor has it that she’s performing “Daddy Lessons” with the Dixie Chicks, however nothing about her performance has been confirmed, only the fact that it is DEFINITELY happening:

When the news broke, it was initially believed that she would open the show, however, that wasn’t the case. We’re about 30 minutes in, and still no Beyoncé.

But no need to fear, Twitter memes and reactions are here! While we wait for Beyoncé’s (bound to be) epic CMAs performance, enjoy these hilarious tweets:

Beyoncé Is Performing at the 2016 CMAs, and Country Music Fans Aren’t Too Thrilled

Continuing her apparent plan of global domination, Beyoncé is taking her talents to the 50th annual Country Music Awards!

After a ridiculously busy year of wig snatching, with the release of her “Formation” video, her visual album Lemonade, and the Formation World Tour, as well as distinctly different performances at the BET Awards, the MTV VMAs AND the Super Bowl, Beyoncé STILL ain’t done yet.

I mean, honestly, at this point, most artists would be like, “OK, tour’s over, it’s Holiday season … time to rest!” But then again, Beyoncé isn’t like “most artists” and continues to prove she’s at the top of her game by going as hard as she does.

Various sources have been reporting throughout the day that Beyoncé would be taking the stage tonight at the CMAs, and Brad Paisley, the show’s host, confirmed the rumors on Twitter this afternoon, revealing that she’ll possibly be performing some type of crossover collaboration.

Good Morning America, which airs on ABC (the same network where the CMAs will air), also confirmed the news:

Additionally, “multiple sources” confirmed to People that Beyoncé is “currently in Nashville and will attend the awards ceremony tonight — plus, she appears to be performing.”

And if that’s not confirmation enough, a number of popular Beyoncé fan pages have said that a Beyoncé performance at this year’s CMAs is definitely happening, and one Twitter user shared a personal story about how they heard about Queen Bey’s upcoming appearance/performance:

https://twitter.com/TheBeyHiveTeam/status/793872339691864068

For those who don’t know, Beyoncé has a country-ish song on Lemonade called “Daddy’s Lessons,” so while it’s thrilling that she’s taking the stage, it isn’t TOTALLY surprising. Word is, she’ll be sharing the stage as she opens the show with the Dixie Chicks, who LOVE “Daddy’s Lessons” and have performed the song every night on their tour.

But while all of this is exciting for members of The BeyHive, some fans of country music are P-I-S-S-E-D that “cop hater” Beyoncé was invited to perform at the CMAs, and they’ve been expressing their disgust on social media all afternoon.

https://twitter.com/OMJItsRachel/status/793885972979212288

And the complaints don’t end there. Fans also took to Facebook to express how disappointed they were with the Country Music Awards for allowing such a thing to happen.

Of course Beyoncé isn’t the first “non-country” artist to perform at the CMAs, as Justin Timberlake performed “Tennessee Whiskey” last year with Chris Stapleton, and the year before that, Meghan Trainor teamed up with Miranda Lambert for a countrified version of Trainor’s hit single at the time, “All About That Bass.”

The 2016 Country Music Awards will air live from Nashville on ABC starting at 8 p.m.

World Series Game 7 Is Tonight: “Empire” Returns to Fox Next Wednesday!

It’s been three whole weeks since Empire has aired on TV, and fans of the hit Fox show are beginning to get a little restless.

The last Empire episode, Season 3 Episode 4, aired on October 12th, and afterward, Fox announced that the show would be returning after the MLB Playoffs and World Series, which have been going on since Friday, October 14th.

The last MLB playoff game went down on Saturday, October 22nd, and the Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Indians have been battling each other in the World Series since October 25th. As of tonight, the 7-Game series is “3-3” after the Cubs overcame a 3-1 deficit.

Had the Cubs lost Game 5 or Game 6, “Empire” would have returned to TV tonight (Nov. 2), but Game 7 is tonight, meaning that “Empire” will officially return to television NEXT Wednesday, November 9th.

So, don’t fret “Empire” fans, we have just one week left!

https://twitter.com/tattedupbreezy/status/793963989671837696

Read the official synopsis for “Empire” Season 3 Episode 5 (“One Before Another”) below:

Lucious and Andre are on high alert as they wait for Shine to retaliate; Jamal teams up with Hakeem for a performance that he thinks could help him face his fears; Cookie is caught off guard during a routine meeting with her probation officer.

A fast-moving promo for the upcoming episode shows Shine and his gang preparing for war against the Lyons. “After the World Series, television’s number one drama returns,” the video voiceover says.

In the one-minute clip, Andre can be seen telling Nessa, “Lucious wants to have a sit down with Shyne” as the scene transitions to Shyne and his gang stocking up on weapons and saying, “Let’s go kill some Lyons.”

Meanwhile, Jamal, still struggling with PTSD after the shooting, can be seen standing on an empty stage, and Lucious tells him, “You want to help the family, get back on the stage again.”

The minute-long promotional footage also shows Tariq and the feds raiding Lucious’ office. “Who did this?!” Luscious asks. His half-brother Tariq replies, “We are investigating.”

The video clip ends with Shine surprising Andre in his apartment with a gun pointing at him. “Good morning sunshine!” he tells the elder Lyon son.

Sheree Whitfield Hosts Housewarming Party for “Chateau Sheree,” Which Is STILL Uninhabitable

We’ve joked and waited and joked some more (and waited some more) for years. “Chateau Sheree” has finally made its grand debut! Well, sort of.

Sheree Whitfield held a somewhat-lavish housewarming for the dream home that has been under construction for the past five 105 years. Dressed in their best, guests arrived Friday night (Oct. 28) to get a first look into the long-awaited home.

Porsha-Kenya-Chateau-Sheree-Housewarming

Reportedly 50 or 60 guests attended the event, including Real Housewives of Atlanta cast members Kandi Burruss, Todd Tucker, and Porsha Williams. Despite the shade she has thrown at Chateau Sheree, Kenya Moore was also present with Matt Jordan as her plus one.

Kandi-Burruss-Chateau-Sheree-Housewarming

Former Atlanta “housewives” Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Lisa Wu were also spotted. Cynthia Bailey’s estranged husband Peter Thomas made an appearance.

Kim-Lisa-Peter-Chateau-Sheree-Housewarming

It’s being reported Sheree’s housewarming will serve as the season 9 finale for RHOA (Kenya’s “Moore Manor” housewarming is expected to be the premiere).

Chateau-Sheree-Housewarming-Cake

In Halloween spirit, there was a masquerade theme and guests were asked to wear masks. “Shade” masks were also provided. However, not many guests followed the theme. Guests could also enjoy a photo booth as phones were checked at the door to prevent leaked photos. (Which seems to have worked out GREAT! **side-eye**)

Chateau-Sheree-Housewarming-3

But, wait. Now that Chateau Sheree is finished, does that mean we have to stop cracking jokes? Not just yet. I called the event “somewhat lavish” because insiders say Chateau Sheree is still not in livable condition — EVEN AFTER ALL THESE DAMN YEARS!!!

Apparently, Sheree hasn’t even spent one night in the mansion. Sources say Bravo production rented furniture just for the occasion and only decorated the first floor sitting areas and a few bathrooms. The kitchen doesn’t even have appliances!

Chateau-Sheree-Housewarming-2

Though Sheree’s bedroom is the only upstairs room furnished, she hasn’t lived in the home due to plumbing, mold, and other issues that come from taking centuries to build a home.

Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta premieres November 5th on Bravo.

Lil Wayne Ain’t Got Time for the Black Lives Matter Movement

While most black celebrities and musicians are tripping all over themselves to appear and sound woke on social media, Lil Wayne can’t be bothered.

The New Orleans rapper sat down for an interview with ABC News’ Nightline program and in the interview, he confessed that he didn’t get what all the fuss was when it came to this whole Black Lives Matter thing. When the interviewer for his thoughts on the movement, his initial question was, “What is it? What do you mean?”

Seriously? Is this what we’re doing?

After the reporter breaks it down for Wayne, he says the incidents in which young black men have been killed by law enforcement are just “incidents in which someone got shot by a police officer for a fucked up reason.”

Is that all? Well, gee golly, wonder why we’ve been so bothered by any of this.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, Lil Wayne then points to his alleged wealth and success as evidence that black lives DO matter. And the final knife in the back of the black community comes when Wayne encourages black people to disconnect and mind their business.

lilwayne-blacklivesmatter2

“If it ain’t got nothin’ to do with me, I ain’t connected to it,” he says.

I guess we know that if Wayne was living in slavery times that he would’ve quietly stayed in the fields picking cotton and not worried himself at all with notions of freedom and independence.

I’m tempted to go in on Wayne but then I have to remember he’s a rape victim and a substance abuser. (And he has seizures.) His way of coping with life is to numb himself and not feel or care about anyone or anything. So of course he’s not going to get stirred up about issues of race and injustice. But still, it’d be nice if he’s at least keep his mouth shut and not sabotage the cause for the rest of us.
