Tinashe Attempts to Clarify Colorism Comments After Being Dragged by Black Twitter

Tinashe is doing a little bit of social media damage control. The singer spent part of the day attempting to clarify comments that got her dragged by Black Twitter.

The mixed singer was a trending topic Tuesday (Jun. 13) after she suggested colorism is partly the reason for her music career obstacles. Black Twitter pointed out that Tinashe’s management and PR team have failed her, not the black community. Many also admitted they didn’t even know she was mixed.

Tinashe responded to the backlash on Twitter. She says her comments were taken out of context as The Guardian article made it seem the colorism claim was specific to the music industry, when, in actuality, she was talking about her overall life experience as a mixed woman.

It’s quite possible the 24-year-old’s comments were misconstrued between the initial interview and the published article. However, the article and, presumably the interview, was about her experiences and setbacks in the music industry. Why would colorism even come up if she didn’t feel it was relevant to the interview?

If you look past the mess, I think Tinashe attempted to raise valid issues about black women in the music industry, but unfortunately used a poor word choice for her argument. However, this impromptu Twitter “press conference” seemed like a way to save face and alleviate some of that Black Twitter backlash.

Is Kenya Moore officially an Atlanta housewife? We all know her Real Housewives of Atlanta peach is safe, but what I’m wondering is if Kenya is now somebody’s wife. The internet is buzzing that the reality star just got married in a private ceremony.

Blogger Tamara Tattles first broke the news and posted photographic receipts. The blogger reports Kenya married her secret boo of nearly eight months over the weekend in a private ceremony in St. Lucia.

Tamara Tattles writes:

“A Tamara Tattles spy has sent photographs which appear to show Kenya getting married… I know for a fact that the couple has been at Sugar Beach, the new hot spot at the foot of Pitons, for several days. The thing that pushed this story over the edge for me is that Kenya’s best friend, Brandon Deshazer, was there. No one gets married without their GBF.”

Kenya has posted two photos on Instagram in recent days showing a beach getaway. “#AllINeed #Thankful,” she captioned a photo with 2 wine glasses, 2 sunglasses, and an ocean backdrop.

The identity of Kenya’s possible new husband is currently unknown. She recently revealed on Watch What Happens Live! that she was dating again, following her tumultuous relationship with Matt Jordan, and she has stated she’s “very happy” with her romantic life in other interviews. However, she has never given a name nor has any man publicly confirmed a relationship recently.

Tamara Tattles also reports that Kenya’s boyfriend/husband is age appropriate and has adult children. However, he was “disturbed” by Kenya’s reality show drama which is why she chose to keep the relationship private and off TV.

Kenya Moore’s wife status has yet to be officially confirmed (hell, knowing Kenya this could very well be a movie or photo shoot). However, we wish the hopeless romantic well and hope she’s finally formed the family she’s always wanted.

Tinashe Dragged by Black Twitter for Blaming Colorism for Her Lackluster Music Sales

Tinashe has been on the music scene for a minute now, but, unfortunately, her career has not gone the way she had intended. The singer recently revealed why she believes she hasn’t gotten a fair shake in the industry, but social media is not feeling her explanation.

In an interview with The Guardian, published on Monday (Jun. 12), the mixed singer blamed colorism for the reason her music doesn’t reach Beyoncé or Rihanna sales.

“There’s colorism involved in the black community, which is very apparent. It’s about trying to find a balance where I’m a mixed woman, and sometimes I feel like I don’t fully fit into the black community; they don’t fully accept me, even though I see myself as a black woman. That disconnect is confusing sometimes. I am what I am.”

The comments did not go over well with Black Twitter, causing the singer of Zimbabwean and Danish descent to be a trending topic. Users were quick to point out that Tinashe’s light complexion is not the reason her music doesn’t sell well, while many didn’t even know she was mixed.

The 24-year-old may have valid criticisms of the hip-hop industry, but marketing is also a key factor. Unless you can rest solely on your talent and personality, it takes a team of people to support and promote the artist to the masses. Unfortunately, as Black Twitter pointed out, Tinashe’s team has failed to properly manage her.

Nick Gordon Arrested After Allegedly Attacking Girlfriend, Domestic Violence Charge May Impact Bobbi Kristina Death Investigation

The honeymoon phase is officially over. Bobbi Kristina Brown’s former boyfriend Nick Gordon has been arrested on domestic violence charges after he allegedly attacked his girlfriend.

Sanford, Florida police picked Gordon up at a bar near his home and arrested him on Saturday (Jun. 10). He is facing battery and kidnapping/false imprisonment of an adult charges.

Leil pressed charges on Saturday following a Friday night (Jun. 9) altercation. She claims Gordon accused her of flirting with one of his friends while they were at a sports bar. She denied the insinuation, but did admit their relationship had become “toxic.”

They began arguing, but things got physical when she attempted to leave Gordon’s home, which he suggested she do in the first place. Leil alleges Gordon began “punching and hitting her” in her face and the back of her head with closed fists.

She attempted to contact her sister using the laptop, but Gordon took it from her. Leil was only able to get away after she woke up Gordon’s mother, who lives with him. She drove Leil home and Leil’s sister took her to the hospital.

Gordon is currently being held on $15,000 bond and sources tell TMZ he might not be able to make bail. He also claims that Leil hit him first and wants to press charges against her.

Gordon and Leil first went public with their relationship back in April. Leil posted several pictures of the new couple looking quite in love. She even posted a message praising her boo.

“My sweet, handsome, considerate, protective, loving, charismatic, entertaining, compassionate, comforting, warm hearted, outstanding, simply incredible boyfriend: I’m beyond blessed because you’re the best.”

The Fulton County D.A. in Georgia also says Gordon’s domestic violence arrest may impact the ongoing investigation into Bobbi Kristina’s 2015 death, saying it “[adds] an additional layer of evidence to the final resolution of this matter.”

Though he was not criminally charged, Gordon was found legally responsible for her death in a wrongful death lawsuit. He was ordered to pay her estate $36 million.

Corinne Olympios Says She Never Consented to Sexual Encounter That Caused “Bachelor in Paradise” Misconduct Investigation

The Bachelor in Paradise scandal (possibly) just got worse. One of the contestants claims she never gave consent to a sexual encounter that caused the ABC show to abruptly shut down production.

Production was halted amid a misconduct investigation into a hook-up between Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson that became X-Rated. The encounter reportedly involved kissing, rubbing, licking, and fingering. Here’s the major problem: Corinne claims she doesn’t remember any of it!

According to TMZ, the 25-year-old claims she was in a blackout state due to alcohol and was unable to give consent to the poolside hook-up. She was made aware of the sexual encounter the next day by fellow contestants, who also expressed concern to production crew.

Production took no action regarding the complaints and continued filming. However, production also says that no such complaints were made while Corinne and DeMario were hooking up.

DeMario remembers the encounter, but Corinne does not blame him because he, too, was intoxicated. She blames producers for not intervening and removing her from the situation. She has reportedly obtained legal counsel.

As we reported earlier, production was stopped after a female producer felt “uncomfortable” about the explicit footage recorded and filed a misconduct complaint against the network. Production transported the cast from Mexico back to the States and began an investigation into the situation.

However, after learning about Corinne’s recollection of events, it raises the question whether the investigation was sparked by the female producer’s complaint or Corinne’s claim she was unable to give consent — which is clearly a serious matter.

Corinne also revealed that she currently has a boyfriend and wouldn’t have jeopardized that relationship by intentionally engaging in sexual activity with another contestant.

Xscape Set to Star in Bravo Reality Show Produced by Mona Scott-Young

We already know Xscape is back onstage, but now we’re hearing the 90s R&B group will be hitting our TV screens next. Xscape has reportedly signed on to star in a Bravo “docu-series.”

The group reunited earlier this year, following a 18-year hiatus due to tensions within the quartet. The Bravo reality show will feature all four members (Kandi Burruss, Tiny Harris, LaTocha and Tamika Scott) as they prepare for their first performance together at the Essence Festival.

TMZ reports the show is currently filming in Atlanta and Bravo is seeking a November 2017 premiere. The show will coincide with Kandi’s Real Housewives of Atlanta, in hopes to capitalize on the popular show’s audience.

Here’s the true kicker: The show will allegedly be executive produced by Mona Scott-Young! The Love & Hip Hop creator is good friends with Kandi and the two of them have reportedly been discussing the project for months.

Even though the group is finally on good terms, Mona will definitely manipulate capture all the drama, which may be bad for Xscape, but great for us!

X-Rated Hook-Up Shuts Down “Bachelor in Paradise” Production, Misconduct Allegations Being Investigated

Two of the Bachelor in Paradise contestants must have forgotten they were shooting a show for network television instead of pay-per-view. A hook up session reportedly got so raunchy that it shut down production.

Season 4 of the ABC show has only been filming for a week in Sayulita, Mexico. However, production was abruptly suspended Sunday (Jun. 11) due to “allegations of misconduct.” The contestants were flown to Houston while producers have launched an investigation into the matter.

Here’s what we know so far:

The alleged incident reportedly involved Corinne Olympios (The Bachelor, season 21) and DeMario Jackson (The Bachelorette, season 13). The two were consuming alcohol and getting real close at the bar. They began making out with “intense rubbing.” Things then moved to the pool and got naked and that’s when the hook up turned X-rated, including licking and fingering.

TMZ is reporting DeMario’s version of events. However, his account has been disputed, thus the need for an investigation. Here is the booted Bachelorette’s version of the hook-up:

DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios were told by producers one of the storylines would be the 2 of them hooking up… We’re told the 2 met at the bar and the alcohol was flowing. DeMario says Corinne jumped in his lap and started making out with him. We’re told there was lots of “intense rubbing.”

DeMario says Corinne then suggested they retreat to the pool, with the cameras rolling. They took off their clothes, started making out and “rubbing, touching and fingering.” He says she put her genitals in his face and he began licking, but we’re told this allegation is a big point of contention and others disagree with his account. He says he was not able to engage in intercourse because of the alcohol.

According to Los Angeles Times writer Amy Kaufman, a female producer was “uncomfortable” by the footage that was shot. She did not come to work the next day and filed a third-party complaint against the network for misconduct.

Warner Bros. released this statement:

“We have become aware of allegations of misconduct on the set of “Bachelor in Paradise” in Mexico. We have suspended production and we are conducting a thorough investigation of these allegations. Once the investigation is complete, we will take appropriate responsive action.”

Corinne and DeMario were first dismissed from production. The full cast was then transported back to the States as a full investigation was launched. Neither Corinne nor DeMario have publicly commented on the situation.

There’s also no word if the show is still slated for an August 8 premiere.

Was Adam West the Voice of the Mayor on Family Guy?

In the early days of television, Adam West starred as the titular character on one of the earliest iterations of the “Batman” franchise.

West played the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman for a total of three seasons (120 episodes), from 1966 to 1968. But fans of modern-day TV know Adam West best for playing himself on Family Guy.

West died in Los Angeles at the age of 88 on June 9th after a short battle with leukemia, TMZ reported, and one place that the legendary actor will be missed is in the fictional town of Quahog.

He has been voicing the role of of “Mayor Adam West” (himself) since 2000, just one year after the show premiered on Fox. According to IMDB, he appeared in over 100 episodes, and his last appearance was on the May 21st episode, “Dearly Deported.”

West’s role as the mayor of Quahog on Family Guy was a tongue-in-cheek reference to Clint Eastwood’s time as the mayor of Carmel in California during the 1980s. West played an exaggerated version of himself on the show and the character seemingly mocked the actor’s apparent eccentricities.

Seth MacFarlane, the creator of Family Guy, first met Adam West when the pair worked together on the Cartoon Network series Johnny Bravo. MacFarlane explained why he chose West to play the mayor of Quahog in a January 2005 interview with the AV Club:

I wrote on a show called Johnny Bravo when I was at Hanna-Barbera, and he guest-starred as himself. He was so funny, and he’s got this way about him. I think he likes playing into what he’s known for, even on a casual basis. He’s a really fun guy to work with, and genuinely gets comedy.

It’s not the type of situation where you just bring somebody in to make fun of themselves. The character we’ve created is kind of this alternate-universe Adam West where he’s mayor of this town, and we deliberately have not made any references to Batman, because we like keeping that separate. It’s the obvious place to go. We tried it, we thought it would be funny to do something different with the mayor of this town.

People like Clint Eastwood and Martin Sheen who have taken whacks at this sort of thing–there’s a precedent for it, actors getting into politics. He’s the mayor, but he’s this guy who clearly does not have it all together. The first couple episodes we did, we got a great response from fans in their teens, who I can’t imagine, necessarily, know who he is from the old Batman show.

He’s one of the characters we get the most requests for more of. It’s nice, because to me it means we’ve built a funny character around him that doesn’t just play off of the fact that he’s a celebrity. He’s playing himself, but he’s not playing himself.

West explained to IGN how he snagged the iconic role in an April 2012 interview:

I had done a pilot with Seth [MacFarlane] that he had written for me. It turned out we had the same kind of comic sensibilities, and got along well. When Family Guy came around and Seth became brilliantly successful, he decided to call me and see what I was doing, He asked if I would like to come aboard as the Mayor, and I thought it would be neat to do something sort of absurd and fun.

West went on to joke in the interview that the people behind the show “abuse” him. He said, “They beat on me in the recording room, screaming “More! More! More!”

He also said that the show’s creators/writers/producers allow him to improvise as needed. “The wonderful thing with some of the things I’ve done – most of them, really – is to be trusted,” he siad. “To be able to do your thing, to work on it, hone it into my gem of creativity!”

Asked about his favorite role on the show, the acting legend revealed, “I think any episode that allows me to really run with something absurd or ludicrous, or inventive is great.”

Adam West Cause of Death: How Did the “Batman” & “Family Guy” Star Die?

Adam West, who starred on TV’s “Batman” and “Family Guy,” has died at the age of 88. What was his cause of death? How did he die?

According to TMZ, the actor passed away “after a short battle with leukemia.” The website reported that West died Friday night (Jun 9) at his home in Los Angeles.

West played Batman/Bruce Wayne in the 1960’s version of Batman — one of the first of the franchise, which was very campy at the time. Years later, in 2000, he landed a recurring role on Family Guy as the mayor of Quahog.

He also played a bit role as himself and Catman on Nickelodeon’s The Fairly OddParents from 2003 – 2008, as well as one episode of The Simpsons.

His family released a statement after his death, saying, “Our dad always saw himself as The Bright Knight, and aspired to make a positive impact on his fans’ lives. He was and always will be our hero.”

“Black Panther” Poster & Teaser Trailer Released, Black Twitter Erupts in Excitement

As if the first official poster wasn’t enough, Marvel Studios just dropped the first Black Panther trailer. And it looks AH-MAZING!

The two-minute trailer, which aired during Game 4 of the 2017 NBA Finals Friday night (Jun. 9), gives us a glimpse of Wakanda and its newly crowned king, T’Challa a.k.a. Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman).

Though the trailer doesn’t offer any plot details, it does suggest T’Challa will be tested as the fictional African nation’s new leader. In a voiceover, elder Wakandan statesmen Zuri (Forest Whitaker) tells T’Challa:

“The world is changing. Soon there will only be the conquered and the conquerors. You are a good man with a good heart, and it’s hard for a good man to be a king.”

We’re also treated to glimpses of Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan), an exile who attempts to dethrone T’Challa, and Lupita Nyong’o, who plays Black Panther’s love interest and is a member of the Dora Milaje, the king’s all-female personal bodyguards. And if you blink, you might miss Angela Bassett, Black Panther’s mother.

The trailer was preceded by the release of the first official poster.

The poster and trailer combo got Twitter (Black Twitter, especially) extra hyped for the already highly-anticipated film, which features a predominately black cast and is the first superhero film with a black superhero lead.

Though we may want the film now, unfortunately, there’s a long wait until the Ryan Coogler directed film hits theaters. Black Panther will be released February 16, 2018.

At least we have ample time to plan out outfits.

Lil Wayne Sued for “Hate Crime” by White Club Bouncer Over 2016 Nightclub Brawl

The man who believes racism no longer exists was just slapped with a hate crime lawsuit. A white Hollywood security is suing Lil Wayne and alleging the rapper assaulted him because of his “Caucasian ancestry and descent.”

Andrew Nunemacher was a bouncer at Hyde Sunset nightclub in LA on June 27, 2016 at the BET Music Awards after party. He claims, while doing his job monitoring the flow of traffic entering the club, Wayne and his crew became angry and rowdy because he didn’t allow some of Wayne’s entourage in the club.

According to the bouncer, Wayne punched him with a closed fist and knocked him to the ground. He also claims the rapper threw a glass filled with alcohol in his face.

Nunemacher believes the incident was partially racially motivated because Wayne allegedly said, “F*ck you, white boy” during the assault. According to Variety, Nunemacher used California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act and the Ralph Civil Rights Act to file the hate crime lawsuit.

Citing assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, the bouncer is seeking $25,000 in damages.

Nunemacher is also suing Young Money Entertainment, Universal Music Group, SBE Entertainment (which owns Hyde), and the company that promoted the BET Music Awards after party, Made Hollywood Inc.

The rapper’s reps denies he had any involvement in the incident.

Wayne facing a hate crime allegation is ironic because he has claimed that racism no longer exists because his concert audiences are predominantly white and claims he’s never personally experienced racism. He also received backlash for not supporting the Black Lives Matter movement.

Amanda Bynes Reveals She’s Sober Now & Reflects on Past Bizarre Behavior in First Interview in 4 Years

You may have been wondering why has Amanda Bynes been a trending topic all day. Fortunately, it’s not because she set anything on fire, threw a bong out of a window, or went on some bizarre rant on Twitter. Bynes is making headlines because she has resurfaced stable and in a much better place in life.

The former child star sat down with The Lowdown host Diana Madison to give her first interview in four years. It’s been five years since Bynes’ personal life spiraled out of control which led to several arrests and multiple stints in psych wards. However, all of that is now in her past.

The actress-turned fashion student says she’s been sober for three years and is very happy with life.

“I’m doing great, thank you. Really great… I’ve been going to school lately, fashion school—FIDM. And I love it. I’ve learned how to sew, I’ve made patterns, and I want to start a clothing line in the future, so FIDM has been helping me with that. Other than that, I hike, I go spinning—I take spinning classes—and I feed the homeless.”

Bynes also took the time to explain some of her bizarre antics, such as the time she tweeted: “I want @drake to murder my vagina.” Well, she actually wasn’t kidding. Bynes is very attracted to Drake, but blamed drugs on the way she chose to express her affections.

“I actually wasn’t being insincere. I was like saying, ‘Murder my vagina.’ I was serious, but I was also on drugs, so that was my way of saying, ‘Let’s do it, man.’ But I was on drugs and trying to be hilarious. He’s hot!”

Though dhr doesn’t know what it feels like, she definitely knows what she meant by the statement. “What does that even mean? It just means, like, ‘F*ck me, Drake!'”

Remember when Bynes has microdermal piercings on her cheeks like Blac Chyna is known for? Madison asked if Chyna had stolen Bynes’ look, but that’s not how it went down.

“I stole her look! I was getting the microdermals in my cheeks because she had them. I thought they looked super hot on her. I never said that she stole my look. I’m a fan of hers. She’s adorable, she’s a cutie pie.”

Fans of Amanda Bynes should will also be pleased to know that she intends to make an acting comeback. The actress “retired” in 2010 in the midst of her issues, but now misses performing.

“I’m going to start acting again. I want to do TV. Maybe a few guest spots on some shows that I’m a fan of and maybe another TV show where I’m the star of it, in the future. That’s what I hope.”

It’s great to see her in a healthier place after the rough years she’s faced. Most 90’s kids grew up with Amanda Bynes and she’s a talented comedic actress. If she stays on this positive path, she just might be back on TV screens in the near future.

Bernice Burgos Believes She’s Being Played by T.I. Because He’s Still Close to Tiny

T.I.’s alleged side chick is tired of being a side chick. Bernice Burgos is reportedly upset Tip continues to be close with his estranged wife Tiny Harris and is ready to move on.

A source tells Hollywood Life that Bernice is feed up with the rapper because he has been lying to her regarding the status of his relationship with Tiny. Despite T.I. claiming the two are no longer intimate, Bernice can’t help but feel like she’s being played.

“Bernice had no idea T.I. was still seeing Tiny the way he is. He totally lied to her and she’s not taking it well. Bernice feels like he‘s been playing her and it really hit a nerve. Bernice knows she deserves to be treated better than this and she’s ready to find a new man.”

The 37-year-old Instagram model was already (allegedly) feeling some type of way because T.I. has refused to publicly confirm their relationship, but she might actually have reason to worry.

Though the recent pregnancy rumors are most likely untrue, during a June 6 interview on Jules UnCut, Tiny did admit that she Tip are in a much better place.

“We are back talking now and that was really mistake, I don’t know how that started happening. He always does that, he finds a way to get in a call and then we start talking again.”

Bernice also went on an Instagram rant Thursday (Jun. 8) that many assumed was a shot at T.I. She wrote:

Bernice is reportedly done playing games and if T.I. doesn’t get right, she’s prepared to move to the next dude, which just may be Chris Brown. A source says Bernice is interested in Chris because there’s no better way to get under the skin of a player (T.I.) than to date a younger version of himself.

Offset From Migos Threatens to Beat Up Hot 97’s Ebro Darden Over Instagram Joke

Instagram is causing a lot of celebrity beefs this week. First it was Tamar Braxton vs. Toya Wright and now Offset from Migos and Hot 97 personality Ebro Darden are exchange words on social media.

The one-sided beef was sparked by a comment Ebro made regarding a headline about Offset’s relationship with Cardi B. The (likely satirical/fake) headline suggested Cardi broke up with the rapper because he wanted to charge her $250,000 for a feature on her song “Lick.”

The Hot 97 host posted the headline on Wednesday (Jun. 7) and joked:

“Wait!!…This is not true! Funny on so many levels tho! An Offset verse is $250K??”

Offset apparently saw Ebro’s quip and hoped into the comment section. The rapper — who will be performing at Hot 97’s Summer Jam this Sunday (Jun 11) — told Ebro to stop questioning his talent or he will “beat yo old ass.”

“Ima b at Summer Jam too ima see if the same joke funny when I see you sucker stop trying my craft n**ga like you tryna say I’m trash or sum I’ll beat yo old ass.”

He then added in a followup comment immediately afterward:

“U a sucker Ebro on my mama”

Ebro reposted The Shade Room’s post and made light of the situation. He explained to Offset that he meant no harm.

“Stop being so sensitive! You already rich.. Love you n**ga.. See you Sunday! @offsetyrn”

This seems to be squashed (at least on Ebro’s end), but we’ll keep you posted if anything pops off between these two at Summer Jam.

Mary J. Blige Ordered to Pay Kendu Isaacs $30K Per Month in Spousal Support to Accommodate Lifestyle

Mary J. Blige is ready to permanently say goodbye to her estranged husband and former manager Martin “Kendu” Isaacs, but she will also have say goodbye to some of her money. A judge has ruled that the singer must pay Kendu spousal support.

A judged ruled on Thursday (Jun. 8) that Mary must pay Kendu $30,000 a month in temporary spousal support as their divorce continues to play out in court. The spousal support will be used to “accommodate the style of living” Kendu has become accustomed to during his 13-year marriage to the entertainer.

Though it’s significantly less than the $129,319 Kendu was initially seeking, Mary will also have to retroactively pay support dating back to September as well as pay Kendu’s attorney fees. The monies total to an addition $235K.

The judge also found that the couple had been living outside their means and are currently in debt, owing millions in back taxes.

Mary acknowledged their financial issues in December when she filed documents contesting Kendu’s initial spousal support request. Oprah Says ‘Underground’ Would be Bad Business for OWN Due to High Budget & Low Ratings

The road to bringing Underground back to our TV screens just got a little bit more difficult. Oprah has decided to pass on the critically-acclaimed cancelled show, stating it would be bad business for OWN.

The John Legend-produced drama about Georgian slaves seeking freedom via the Underground Railroad was cancelled by WGN America after conservative media company Sinclair Broadcasting bought the network. Producers are currently shopping the show with a strong social media following around to other networks.

However, during a press event for the second season of Queen Sugar, Oprah announced OWN will not pick up Underground due to its high cost and low ratings.

“I can’t afford Underground. It costs twice as much to make [as Queen Sugar]… It’s like $5 million an episode…

“And also, it doesn’t have the – I think the highest number I saw was like a 0.4 or something. It has the social media following, but it doesn’t have the numbers to justify it as a business, for me, at this stage in my business, to spend $5 million an episode.”

Oprah also revealed that her team had been trying to “make it work” for weeks when she got a personal call from Legend. Ultimately, OWN will not be Underground’s new home.

BET and Hulu are currently the other networks in the running to pick up Underground. However, even prior to Oprah’s comments, the show’s budget was proving to be an issue for potential suitors.

Tamar Braxton Apologizes to Tiny & Shades Toya Wright on Instagram, Toya & Daughter Reginae Clap Back

The feud between longtime friends Tamar Braxton and Tiny Harris may finally be coming to an end. Meanwhile, another one of Tamar’s many feuds may be heating up.

Tamar has been to known to throw lots of shade without offering much detail or context. Lately, friends like Tiny and Toya Wright have been the target of the singer’s petty jabs. However, Tamar attempted to squash the beef and offered to make amends with Tiny.

On Wednesday (Jun. 7), the singer penned a seemingly-sincere note addressed to her son’s godmother, Tiny. She wrote that despite their recent disagreements, she still has love for Tiny (and T.I.) and suggested they sit down to talk things out. She apologized for hurting Tiny in any way and is ready to forgive.

Tamar wrote in part:

I love you and all my God babies (all the kids) with all of my heart and you know this. I also love your husband @troubleman31 because he is my family also. How about we ALL sit down and talk and declare our new Love and mutual respect for each other… Life is too short and I’m ok with ignoring single, miserable hateful friends who WANT to see you and I at odds and instigating feuds with you and your husband…

[W]ho said it will be easy but Love and forgiveness is easier than being mad and full of hate. So with that all being said @majorgirl I’m sorry for my part in the hurt and want to have my best friend AND her family Including all of our kids and TIP all back together again.

Tiny commented on the post and was receptive to Tamar’s apology. She expressed her love for one of her closest friends and wrote that it was “time to kiss & make up.”

While that friendship might have just been saved, Tamar only made matters worse with Toya Wright. In case you didn’t catch the shade, in her note to Tiny, Tamar referenced “paperback Toya” and accused Toya of spreading lies.

Toya clapped back though. She went all the way off on Tamar in an Instagram rant. She called the former talk show host fake, petty, and pathetic.

Toya wrote in part:

Paperback Toya? Really B*tch?? What does your non-sincere apology and fake ass public outreach have to do with me?? You are THE fakest bitch I know. You wrote all of that pathetic, attention seeking bullshit but you conveniently forgot to tell them why ur REALLY mad??

… I’m sick of you popping off on everybody and then playing victim with yo over the top under the table ass. You talk shit about your own sisters! U a disrespectful, disloyal, jealous attention fiend…

And, of course, Toya’s outspoken daughter, Reginae Carter, jumped in to defend her mother:

Tiny added her two cents regarding Tamar/Toya in the comment sections and urged Tamar to reach out to Toya as well, but off of social media.

For context, Tamar’s issues with Tiny and Toya are supposedly related to The Real. Toya appeared on the talk show and Tiny congratulated singer Monica for guest co-hosting the show all after Tamar was shockingly fired. It’s believed Tamar felt betrayed by her friends during the trying time.

However, she stresses The Real has nothing to do with her beefs with the two women.

Mehgan James Denies Planting Rob Kardashian Dating Rumor in Detailed Instagram Rant

Rob Kardashian and reality star Mehgan James have both denied knowing each other. So exactly how did rumors of their alleged relationship even start? It seems what many speculated may be true.

TMZ is accusing Mehgan of planting the story herself. News hit the web last week that Rob and Mehgan have been dating for three months. Several unnamed sources confirmed the relationship, but Rob denied knowing the former Bad Girls star on social media. Mehgan also seemed dumbfounded and shot down the rumors.

But a source tells TMZ, Mehgan knows exactly where the dating rumors came from.

Now the truth … Mehgan was the mastermind of the whole thing.
Our sources say Mehgan’s “team” contacted a bunch of media outlets planting the story. We’re told her goal was SOP … spread her name, grow her following.
Mehgan’s at 806k Instagram followers — doubling in a week — so sadly, mission accomplished.

Following TMZ’s claim, Mehgan defended herself in a long Instagram rant that she has since deleted. The former Basketball Wives star said she would never plant a story for fame or followers and that if she was going to fake a relationship, it would be with Prince Harry.
She also wrote that she doesn’t have the power to plant such a story, but implied that the Kardashian family has enough control over media to do so.

Mehgan wrote in part:

“I did not fake anything. Like I said I never confirmed that I was dating rob. Any one that asked I told them it was not true. It takes two people to fake a relationship, anyone who fakes a relationship by themselves is a complete idiot…

“I’ve been working in entertainment since I was 18 I’ve done a multitude of Tv shows as well as a couple films. As well as have had over half a million social media followers over two years…

“If I ever wanted to fake a relationship with a rich white guy it would be PRINCE HARRY! Not rob Kardashian!”

Meanwhile, Rob isn’t giving “Megan something” a second thought. It seems his eyes have moved on to T.I.’s rumored side chick, Bernice Burgos. He posted a sexy video of Burgos modeling Fashion Nova jeans.

Photo Sparks Baby Bump Rumors Despite T.I. & Tiny Ending Marriage

T.I. and Tiny may be ending their marriage, but is the ex-couple expanding their family? A recent candid photo has many wondering if Tiny is expecting her fourth child with her soon-to-be ex-husband and if the surprise pregnancy could reunite the hip hop couple.

MediaTakeOut “reported” on Monday (Jun. 5) that the pregnancy rumors are true. The site posted a photo of Tiny wearing a fitted white shirt last week which the site claims shows a “clear baby bump.”

Despite the unlikelihood and no announcement from Tiny or T.I., several blogs picked up MTO’s report. While not totally impossible, a baby on board is improbable given that the couple hasn’t lived together in quite some time. Tiny is also in the midst of revitalizing her music career with Xscape.

It’s more likely that the photo in question was just snapped at an odd angle. Tiny posted a photo in the same outfit on Instagram and the “clear baby bump” magically disappears.

Even if Tiny was pregnant, the baby probably wouldn’t save their marriage. Tiny filed for divorce in December. In the Family Hustle series finale, both accused the other of cheating, but also agreed its time they go their separate ways. T.I. is also rumored to be in relationship with Bernice Burgos.

As always, take MTO’s reporting with a grain of salt. However, I would suggest to save you baby congratulations for the birth of Beyoncé and Jay Z’s twins.

Rob Kardashian & Mehgan James Deny Knowing Each Other Despite Several Sources Confirming They’re Dating

Just kidding?! Though many entertainment news outlets and even sources confirmed the relationship, Rob Kardashian and Mehgan James are denying they even know each other.

The news of the rumored relationship broke earlier this week. However, Rob took to Twitter on Thursday (Jun. 3) and referred to the reality star as “Megan something.”

And Mehgan retweeted the post!

On Friday (Jun. 2), Mehgan also denied the relationship and said she was “confused as everyone else.”

In a longer post on Instagram, the former Basketball Wives and Bad Girls star basically insinuated the romance rumors were sparked after she posted a pair of Rob’s Arthur George socks.

She wrote in part:

“I’m CLEARLY not dating rob, nor have I ever confirmed that I was… I posted one pair of Arthur George socks 2/3 weeks ago & now all of a sudden I’m a home wrecker, a fraud, a hoe… etc. I do not control the media, BUT we all know who has the media on their payroll. Sooo… don’t point any fingers this way! I’m just “Megan something” that most of you “never heard of.”

Sources previously told People that Rob and Mehgan had been dating for about three months and Rob’s family are hoping the relationship is “short-lived” because they don’t want to deal with another Blac Chyna situation.

The sudden odd coupling made many question if Mehgan put out the story herself. But, at this point who knows what’s actually going on?
