Is Christina Aguilera Staging a Comeback? Singer Reportedly to Receive VMA Vanguard Award & Working on New Album

Christina Aguilera is still determined to make a musical comeback.

We’re hearing rumblings that the former The Voice coach is ready come off the sidelines and take center stage with a new album and new sound. She has even sparked speculation she may be the 2017 recipient of the MTV Video Vanguard Award.

Like many of her 2000s contemporaries (with the exception of the visionary Beyoncé), the talented singer has struggled to find mainstream success in a digital age that has been pretty much dominated by the likes of Taylor Swift.

However, a source tells Hollywood Life Christina is ready to return to the pop scene.

“The comeback is brewing. Christina has been working on new music and is ready to take over the pop world again. She really is looking forward to making a serious splash and be in the limelight all over again.”

The 36-year-old and mother of two hinted back in February that she was working on the final touches of a new album. She even missed the last three seasons of The Voice so that she can fully focus on her comeback.

Earlier this week, Aguilera sparked more speculation that a new album was on the way. Though she has amassed 16.4 million followers on Twitter, she only follows 24 accounts, with the Video Music Awards (@vmas), being added to her selective list on Tuesday (Jul. 11).

Fans of the singer immediately took this as a sign she would be receiving this year’s coveted Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

Though this year’s Vanguard Award recipient has not been confirmed, one source does say Aguilera would like to attend the VMAs to promote her new album.

“It’s gearing up to start at the MTV Video Music Awards. She is looking to drop an album by the holidays and announce a tour next year. She can’t wait to get back into the swing of things and get back to being the Diva she is.”

Aguilera has attempted two comebacks in the past seven years with Bionic (2010) and Lotus (2012). Both albums received mix reviews and disappointing sales, even despite The Voice momentum/promotion for Lotus.

There’s no word on what influenced her “new sound,” but, as a huge Aguilera fan, I have long wished she could bounce back, particularly with a duets album.

Aguilera has had several successful duets and collaborations throughout her career. Working with current chart-toppers would allow her a space in today’s music scene and to, again, become musically relevant.

A duets album is the perfect formula for someone in Aguilera’s position. It most recently worked for legends Barbra Streisand (Partners, Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway) and Tony Bennett (Duets II), earning them both No. 1 debuts on the Billboard 200, something Aguilera hasn’t achieved since 2006.

Here’s to hoping 2017 is the year of the Christina Aguilera comeback!

Idris Elba Says He Has No Intentions of Ever Getting Married Again: “It’s Not My Life’s Calling”

If you were hoping to one day become Mrs. Idris Elba, I hate to inform you that you’re out of luck. The hunky actor says he has no interest in getting married anytime soon.

Idris is featured on the cover of the August 2017 issue of Essence magazine. He opens up about his busy career, fatherhood, and his love life. The 44-year-old father of two says marriage just isn’t his “life’s calling.”

“Am I ever gonna get remarried? I don’t think so. Yeah, I don’t think so. Marriage is an institution of sorts. And I’ve done it. It’s not for everybody. It’s not my life’s calling.”

The actor has actually jumped the broom twice. He was married to makeup artist Hanne “Kim” Norgaard from 1999 to 2003, and they share a 16-year-old daughter named Isan. Elba then married Sonya Nicole Hamlin in 2006, but separated just six weeks later.

Elba also has a 2-year-old son with his ex-girlfriend Naiyana Garth. He says being a present father keeps him young.

“Because I’m 44 years old with a two-and-a-half-year-old boy, I’m rolling around playing and then I’m at a Drake concert with my teenage daughter. Having a young child now keeps me young, without a doubt.”

Though Elba is known to post thirst traps or make a dirty joke or two, his career is currently a higher priority than marriage right now. He is set to star in six projects this year and will also be making his directorial debut with the film adaption of the novel, Yardie.

Just when you thought the Maia Campbell situation couldn’t get any sadder… Someone has leaked a sextape featuring a woman who is believed to be Maia Campbell and a mystery man!

The nearly 1-minute clip shows the “In the House” actress (supposedly) lying on her back and getting smashed to smithereens by some random guy in Atlanta. Near the end of the clip, the guy can be seen “finishing” on the woman’s breasts.

It’s unclear if the woman in the video is actually Campbell or exactly when/where the explicit footage was recorded. But, if it IS her, it couldn’t have been recent because she has a front tooth missing—as seen in the recent video of her begging for crack in Atlanta and the video of her denying LL Cool J’s help—and the woman in the video clearly has all of her teeth.

As we previously reported, Maia Campbell was admitted to a rehab facility in Dekalb County, Georgia Monday night (Jul. 10) to undergo a mental health evaluation, but within 24 hours, she left of her own free will.

“She’s left the facility, so she’s no longer with Dekalb,” a woman who goes by the name Rose said in a video update on Instagram. “And, at this point, she’s an adult, all we can do is pray and help her to see that she needs the help. But we cannot force her to do anything, she’s an adult, and I’m trying to collaborate with her family and see what can happen. But, at this point, we just have to keep her in our prayers.”

Jasmine Washington Accuses Kirk Frost of Child Abandonment, Judge Could Force DNA Test & Child Support (Report)

Woah! Jasmine Washington is playing no games. The woman that has maintained for over a year that Kirk Frost is the father of her son is not backing down. In fact, she’s taking the situation to the next level and accusing Kirk of child abandonment.

According to the blog Fameolous, if Jasmine can show probable cause in court, a warrant will soon be issued for Kirk for child abandonment, which is illegal in the state of Georgia.

The Instagram blog states that child abandonment occurs (in Georgia) when a parent hasn’t contributed to the child’s welfare in more than 60 days. However, the Superior Court of Fulton County states abandonment occurs in 30 days.

Via the Superior Court of Fulton County:

Child abandonment is a misdemeanor offense in Georgia with a penalty of a $1,000 fine or up to 12 months in prison, when a parent has failed to provide sufficient food clothing, or shelter for the needs of the child for 30 days.

A warrant is applied for by the custodial parent or caretaker of the minor child through the warrant office in their county. Once the warrant is applied for, a hearing is scheduled. A judge will determine whether or not the abandonment occurred.

Since Kirk has refused to take a paternity test, a judge can enforce one. If he’s found to be the father, a judge would then order Kirk to pay child support.

Fameolous reported Jasmine’s child abandonment case against Kirk would be heard on Wednesday, July 12th. And, in fact, such cases are heard only on Wednesdays in Fulton County. However, Kirk’s lawyer was able to push the hearing to a later date—2 weeks later, in fact, on July 26th.

Jasmine’s bold move comes days after she released receipts that seemingly proved she and Kirk had an ongoing affair. She posted a series of text messages which show Kirk begging her not to dump him and even claiming that he loved her. Kirk also asks about Jasmine and the child’s well-being shortly after she gave birth in July 2016.

A source tells Hollywood Life Kirk felt “betrayed” by Jasmine for posting their private conversations on social media.

“Kirk feels completely betrayed by Jasmine after she posted all of their private text messages. He can’t believe she would do that and he feels they are taken completely out of context. Now that she has attacked him online, he is not sure of what to do next, but he knows now that Jasmine is simply not to be trusted.”

During the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta season 6 reunion, and in front of his wife of 17-years, Rasheeda, Kirk claimed that he only had sex with Jasmine once and that he used protection. He also explained why he has refused to take a DNA test.

“I damn sure wasn’t going to do it on national TV to give scammers the key…don’t try to set [me] up. You’re using that baby as a pawn to carry three people forward. That’s f–ked up.”

Well, if a judge finds probable cause and rules Kirk abandoned his child with Jasmine, I’m sure he would have been better off just taking the DNA test months ago.

Fresh Kid Ice Cause of Death: How Did the 2 Live Crew Rapper Die?

Christopher Wong Won—better known as “Fresh Kid Ice,” the co-founder of the popular Miami, Florida Hip-Hop group 2 Live Crew—has died at the age of 53.

How did he die? What was his cause of death?

According to the group’s manager (via TMZ), Fresh Kid Ice passed away just before 8 a.m. early Thursday morning (Jul. 13) at a Miami hospital due to an undisclosed medical condition. His cause of death is suspected to be a heart attack, as his hospitalization was reportedly due to an unspecified heart ailment.

Miami Hip-Hop legend Luke Campbell (aka “Uncle Luke”) tweeted about the rapper’s death this morning:

Chris Wong Won aka Fresh Kid Ice teamed up with DJ Mr. Mixx and Amazing Vee in 1984 to form the legendary hip-hop crew known as 2 Live Crew. The duo later linked up with Luther “Luke” Campbell when they signed with his record label.

2 Live Crew became the poster children for First Amendment Rights after the group’s third album As Nasty As They Wanna Be was labeled “legally obscene” by the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 1990. Chris and Uncle Luke were arrested that same year following a live performance that police said was obscene and lewd.

Before getting into music, Fresh Kid served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. After making a name for himself in the music industry, he later went on to form his own record label called Chinaman Records.

Fresh Kid was Afrochinese, with his family hailing mostly from Hong Kong, and both of his grandmothers were African. He gave himself the nickname “Chinaman” in most of his raps.

Fresh Kid is noted for being the first Asian rapper, the only 2 Live Crew member to appear on all eight albums, and for discovering rapper Flo Rida.

In 1988, shortly before the release of 2 Live Crew’s sophomore album Move Somethin’ in 1988, Fresh Kid was involved in a near fatal car accident. He suffered injuries to his brachial plexus, which resulted in a loss of mobility in his left arm.

Fresh Kid also suffered his first stroke on Thanksgiving 2009, which was followed by a second stroke early 2010, and he had to retrain himself to walk and correct his speech.

Earlier this week, 21 Savage took Amber Rose on a tour through his hood in Atlanta, and on Monday night (Jul. 10), the new couple made an appearance at ATL’s Club Crucial, where Savage was promoting his newly released album Issa Album.

While there, Savage and Rose reportedly paid some folks’ bills (and possibly fed some babies too) by throwing money into the crowd, according to TMZ. The gossip site claims that this is a weekly ritual for the club on Monday nights—”giving back to the community, especially women.”

Amber and 21’s nightclub outing followed the couple being spotted in 21’s East Atlanta neighborhood, where the rapper took his new girlfriend to meet his family.

Based on the photos of them being all over each other at Club Crucial and the pics of Amber meeting 21’s folks, we can officially conclude that their relationship is pretty serious.

Rose’s ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, fellow rapper Wiz Khalifa, has even gone on record to give his blessing to the new couple (not that a guy like 21 Savage needs a “blessing” from his girl’s ex anyway).

“He’s a good guy, he’s a good kid—everything I know about him,” Khalifa, 29, told a TMZ photographer when asked about 21 Savage being around his son Sebastian. He went on to say that he felt no ill will towards the 24-year-old rapper.

Savage also apparently lives up to Wiz Khalifa’s “good guy” description of him, as the rapper was quick to come to Rose’s defense in a recent radio interview, saying that he is not going to tolerate ANYONE disrespecting his girl.

Florida’s First & Only Black State Attorney Aramis Ayala Pulled Over by White Cops for Driving While Black

Video footage of Florida’s only black state attorney being stopped by two police officers for no apparent reason has gone viral, leading many to wander if the state attorney was racially profiled.

The Daily Mail recently published bodycam footage of Florida State Attorney Aramis Ayala being pulled over by two cops in June. As the officers approach either side of her vehicle, a noticeably confused Ayala retrieves her ID.

One officer looks at her ID and Ayala identifies herself as a state attorney. The officer then attempts to explain the reason they pulled her over, but just makes the random stop even more perplexing.

“Thank you, your tag didn’t come back. Never seen that before, but we’re good now. We ran the tag; I’ve never seen it before with a Florida tag. It didn’t come back to anything, so that’s the reason for the stop.”

Ayala naturally asks why her tag was run in the first place. The officer, again, struggles to come up with a plausible explanation.

“Oh, we run tags through all the time, whether it’s a traffic light and that sort of stuff. That’s how we figure out if cars are stolen and that sort of thing. Also, the windows are really dark. I don’t have a tint measure, but that’s another reason for the stop.”

Still not satisfied with the officers’ reason(s) for pulling her over, Ayala asks the men for their cards. Explaining they weren’t in their usual patrol car, the two cops wrote down their names on a piece of paper.

The viral video has many wondering if Ayala’s only “crime” was driving while black.


A spokesperson for the Orlando Police Department has defended the stop, citing that Ayala’s tags and tinted windows raised a flag.

“In regards to the video, which was released by the Orlando Police Department last month, the officers stated the tag did not come back as registered to any vehicle. As you can see in the video, the window tint was dark, and officers would not have been able to tell who, or how many people, were in the vehicle.”

As Florida’s first and only elected state attorney of color, Ayala has been a victim of racist attacks including receiving a noose in the mail.

Ayala also made headlines earlier this year for suing Florida Gov. Rick Scott after he removed her from several cases because she refused to seek the death penalty.

T.I. Reportedly Files Countersuit Against Tiny Regarding Their Divorce

Tiny was just serenading her soon-to-be ex-husband onstage at the 2017 Essence Festival, and the two seemed to be on their way to an amicable split. However, Tiny’s gesture must not have meant much to T.I. because he is now suing her.

The Jasmine Brand is exclusively reporting that when T.I. filed his response to Tiny’s divorce request on July 10th, he also filed a counter-suit against her, specifying his own terms of the dissolve of their marriage.

The website doesn’t reveal exactly what T.I. is seeking, but Tiny made her demands crystal clear when she filed for divorce in December 2016 and said her marriage was “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.”

The Xscape singer requested primary physical custody and joint legal custody of their three children. She also requested half of the assets the couple acquired during their six-year marriage, which includes, properties, cars, investments, and funds in a retirement account.

Tiny also petitioned for child support as well as both temporary and permanent alimony. Though a judge will determine the amount, she petitioned it be “consistent with their standard of living.”

Speaking of finances, Tiny claimed that the couple was millions in debt and asked to be absolved from repaying the debt due to T.I. “high earning ability.”

We can only assume Tip’s countersuit contests some of Tiny’s demands.

Stalled for several for months, their divorce was officially a go when T.I. was finally served the documents in April. Let’s just hope their divorce doesn’t turn nasty.

Lamarra George: I Am NOT Joining “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and I Was NOT Involved in Drink-Tossing Fight

Lamarra George wants you to know two things: one, she is NOT joining the cast of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” and two, she was NOT a part of a recent alleged fight during filming for the show that involved tossed drinks and a bunch of drama.

Last week, we reported on an alleged fight that happened while cameras were rolling during a dinner scene for RHOA Season 10.

A relatively unknown blog called “Real Mr. Housewife” shared “exclusive details” regarding the alleged fight between two new castmembers: Lamarra George and Shamea Morton.

According to their report, Lamarra and Shamea got into a heated confrontation, which ended in George allegedly throwing a drink and Shamea being escorted out of the building “before any serious physical altercation could ensue.”

The report went on to say that NeNe Leakes, Cynthia Bailey and Sheree Whitfield took Lamarra’s side because they are all friends.

“NeNe even went as far to say that if they wanted her to stay on the show, they would have to get rid of Shamea,” a “source” supposedly revealed, adding that Kenya stayed out of it and Porsha didn’t even defend her friend Shamea.

“Kenya didn’t get involved in the drama at all and basically ran away to call her husband as soon as things got crazy. Porsha… walked away as well.”

Lamarra George has since reached out to our good friend Michelle Brown aka ATLien over at Straight From The A via Instagram to shut down the reports:

“Hi, Michelle! I know that you’re well known in the RHOA community. There’s a story going around that I’m apart of the cast full time, which is not true at all. Being that you know many bloggers, do you know where it stemmed from? I never threw a drink on anyone…”

Notice how she made it a point to mention that she is not “apart of the cast FULL TIME,” which means that while she won’t be holding a peach, she will likely be making some appearances on the show throughout the season (like Marlo Hampton, for example).

Meanwhile, the “Real Mr. Housewife” blog has deleted their story, proving that their story was likely false.

RHOA OG NeNe Leakes has even spoken about the fight rumors and basically said that she isn’t giving her peach up for ANYBODY. She wrote on IG:

“Where does all this stuff keep coming from? Fights, glasses thrown! If ANYBODY dream of this sh*t, they are catching a f**king case! I will sleep on the court house steps to bring a b*tch to justice if they don’t catch what’s under the front seat of my car first #nothappening #stoplying #bitchgonebeinhandcuffs #idontgetdownlikethat #grownwomansh*t

She also added in a footnote (possibly talking about Porsha Williams):

PS: I am very clear about who the chemical imbalanced housewife is that’s looking for a moment but they are not gonna get it

Though official casting for RHOA Season 10 has yet to be revealed, it is believed that Eva Marcille will be joining the cast, but it hasn’t determined whether or not she will be holding a peach. And while Shamea was reportedly offered a peach, Straight From the A reported that she turned it down at the request of her husband (but she will remain a “friend” on the show with limited appearances).

Maia Campbell Leaves Atlanta Area Rehab Facility After Being Checked in for Mental Evaluation

Maia Campbell has had a helluva week.

On Saturday (Jul. 8), we saw her begging for crack in Atlanta. The following Sunday, LL Cool J made an attempt to reach out to her only to be shunned by his former “In the House” co-star, who said she didn’t need his help.

And by Monday evening, the actress had supposedly been checked into a rehab facility at the Dekalb County Jail in Georgia for a mental health evaluation.

A woman who goes by the name Rose reached out to the blogs via Instagram Monday night to give us an update on Maia Campbell’s whereabouts.

Rose, who describes herself on IG as an educator, success ambassador, philanthropist and life coach said that she had a hard time getting Campbell to check herself into the facility, but she was “safe” for the night.

“I’m exhausted, but Maia is with Dekalb County right now, and she’s being held for psyche evaluation until we can get a team of intervention [specialists] together in order to get her assessed,” the woman said. “I will keep you updated, and it’s been hectic… We’ve gotta become one with this situation in order to understand it. It’s not an easy thing… I do what touches my heart and this young lady needed my assistance.”

She wrote on IG:

It’s been a hectic negotiating day, It’s not easy #maiacampbell is being held by #DekalbCounty for #Evaluation while her family and intervention team can find a way. She’s safe for tonight. Thank you for all the inbox and support I’ll do it from my heart I also have children and I pray if the going through someone stand with them like a angel on a mission. There’s no shame just be loving and present and listen to the dynamic of the story. We all have them some hidden some obvious but noone is perfect especially with mental illness is real. Love your children and love one. #Stop glamorizing negative behavior and expecting more but when we get what we painted embrace it too.. #God is love #Intervention is caring. #Nooneisfamous but we all our human so imperfect.

But in spite of all of that, it seems like Maia is still refusing the help that people are willing to give her.

According to an update on Rose’s Instagram page, by Tuesday afternoon (Jul. 11), Maia had left the treatment facility and her whereabouts were unknown.

“She’s left the facility, so she’s no longer with Dekalb,” Rose said in a video update. “And, at this point, she’s an adult, all we can do is pray and help her to see that she needs the help. But we cannot force her to do anything, she’s an adult, and I’m trying to collaborate with her family and see what can happen. But, at this point, we just have to keep her in our prayers.”

She shared in the video’s caption:

Information on #maiacampbell thank you for all the support but she’s a adult and I can only do but so much.. Let’s keep her in our prayers for healing and guidance during this time.. I’ll keep you updated if something change. Thanks again #Positive energy and #Love..

Hours before being admitted into the Dekalb County Jail rehab facility, Maia was seen on video in a barbershop refusing LL Cool J’s help:

“Hey Todd, look bro… I love you! I don’t need help. I just need a benefit concert for mental health… Don’t TMZ me! It’s really me… This is Darrell [the guy behind the camera recording]… And this is the shop that I camp at, or whatever. We’re good! I’m good. I’mg doing property, I have investments, I’m a real serious person. And my show is called From the Bottom Up Season 2.”

In the video, when Darrell—the guy behind the camera and who apparently owns the barbership/hair salon she’s in—asked her how LL should get in touch with her, she snapped back, saying “Uhm… don’t call me, I’ll call you… I really don’t want it to go down. I don’t know, pray to God I don’t start rapping. OOPS!”

When the cameraman pressed further, she threw a tantrum like a child, jumping up and down, screaming, “I DON’T KNOW! LEAVE ME ALONE!!!”

And as of right now, that’s exactly what LL Cool J is doing. “You can’t help someone who doesn’t want your help,” he tweeted late Monday.

Hopefully one day Maia Campbell will come around and actually accept the help that people are trying to provide to her.

Blac Chyna is known for wearing a variety of wigs, often colorful and playful. However, while playing victim to Rob Kardashian’s cyberbullying and revenge porn antics, the reality star has opted for a more serious look.

On Monday (Jul. 10), Chyna appeared on Good Morning America in a pre-taped interview to discuss her issues with Rob wearing a long blonde wig with loose waves. Appearing in court, that same day, seeking a restraining order against Rob (which she was granted), Chyna debuted a short bob wig with honey highlights.

Social media definitely noticed that Miss Angela White was serving us her best “legal action wigs” as she was fighting for justice and responded with hilarious memes and comments.

The 21-year-old woman accused of attempting to kill the deputy who fatally shot her boyfriend has been released from jail.

Dequince Brown was released from the Evangeline Parish jail in Ville Platte, Louisiana on Tuesday (Jul. 11) on a $75,000 bond. Brown has been behind bars since Jul. 6 after being charged with first-degree attempted murder of a law enforcement officer.

Around 4:10 am on Jul. 6, Brown and her 27-year-old boyfriend, Dejuan Guillory, were stopped by Deputy Paul Lafleur while riding an ATV on a gravel road. An altercation occurred between Guillory and Lafleur causing the deputy to shoot Guillory in the back while he was lying on the ground with his hands behind his back, waiting to be handcuffed.

In response to the gunshot, Brown jumped on the officer’s back and bit him on the neck in a desperate effort to stop the officer from killing her boyfriend. Guillory died on the scene and Brown’s altercation with the officer lead to her attempted murder charge.

Two differing stories have emerged regarding the incident: Brown’s testimony and Deputy Lafleur/Louisiana State Police’s account.

Brown’s lawyer, Joseph Long, spoke on her behalf to Pen Point News. According to Brown, a verbal and physical altercation did occur between Guillory and Lafleur. However, Guillory and Brown eventually complied when asked to lay on the ground on their stomachs.

On the ground, with his hands behind his back, Brown says Guillory continued to argue with Lafleur and also begged for his life. Lafleur then suddenly shot one round.

Brown jumped on the officer’s back to stop him from shooting, but the officer fired three more shots into Guillory’s back, killing him. Brown then used Lafleur’s dropped radio to call for help.

Louisiana State Police disputes Brown’s account. Lafleur states Guillory struck him in the head, possibly rendering him unconscious.

He says Brown not only bit him, but choked him, and attempted to grab his gun. Lafluer also accused Brown of threatening him, with the 21-year-old allegedly saying, “We are going to kill him.”

The LSPD released a news release on Monday (Jul. 10). Via KLFY News:

  • At approximately 04:10 a.m., the Deputy was dispatched to a reported theft of an ATV and subsequently cleared that call.
  • Upon resuming patrol and still within the nearby area, the Deputy made a traffic stop on a 4-wheeler (ATV) on Retton School Rd @ Chad Ln.
  • The Deputy made contact with the driver of the ATV (Dejuan Guillory, B/M, 27 yoa), and his passenger (Dequince Brown, B/F, 21 yoa).
  • The Deputy asked Guillory and Brown for legal identification, which neither possessed.
  • During this initial interaction, Guillory struck the Deputy in the head, knocking him to the ground, dazing him with a possible loss of consciousness.
  • The Deputy was able to rise to his feet, draw his firearm and gave verbal commands for Guillory to lie on the ground.
  • Guillory laid down on his stomach and the Deputy attempted to handcuff Guillory.
  • During handcuffing, a struggle ensued.
  • Brown approached the Deputy from behind and began to choke and bite him.
  • During the struggle with Guillory and Brown, the Deputy shot Guillory with his duty weapon.
  • The Deputy returned to his unit and called for assistance

The LSPD notes that Guillory was only handcuffed on his right arm, and the handcuff had to be cut off during autopsy because it was “significantly damaged.”

The department is conducting a full investigation into the matter including ballistics, trajectory, toxicology, DNA analysis, autopsy report, and reviewing the in-car camera system in Lafleur’s patrol car.

Deputy Paul Lafleur has since been placed on administrative leave.

According to TMZ, the convict-turned-model filed for legal separation from his wife of eight years on Monday (Jul. 10). Melissa Meeks threatened to divorce Jeremy last week after photos of him kissing another woman went viral. Clearly, Jeremy beat her to the punch.

Melissa says Jeremy begged for her to forgive him, and said that he didn’t intend to cheat on her. She spoke with the Daily Mail after the photos hit the net:

“I know it takes two to tango but she [Chloe] knew he was married. To me, that’s unforgivable. My whole world has been torn apart by this. What do I tell our children? My heart is broken. My marriage wasn’t perfect but I thought it could be saved, until this happened.”

Well, apparently Maia Campbell saw the messages, and she has responded to LL’s request to reach out to her.

In a new video that’s making the rounds on the Internet, Maia herself can be seen telling LL Cool J (real name: Todd Smith) she DOES NOT need his help in the least bit:

“Hey Todd, look bro… I love you! I don’t need help. I just need a benefit concert for mental health… Don’t TMZ me! It’s really me… This is Darrell [the guy behind the camera recording]… And this is the shop that I camp at, or whatever. We’re good! I’m good. I’mg doing property, I have investments, I’m a real serious person. And my show is called From the Bottom Up Season 2.”

Compared to the first video, her hair looks a lot better in this one, and she actually has on decent clothes (she’s ironically wearing a shirt with “BOY BYE” on it), but you can tell she isn’t well.

When Darrell, the guy behind the camera and who apparently owns the barbership/hair salon she’s in, asks her how LL should get in touch with her, she snaps back, saying “Uhm… don’t call me, I’ll call you… I really don’t want it to go down. I don’t know, pray to God I don’t start rapping. OOPS!”

When the cameraman presses further, she throws a tantrum like a child, jumping up and down, screaming, “I DON’T KNOW! LEAVE ME ALONE!!!”

You can clearly tell she was coerced into doing the video, and after some prodding, Darrell gets her to give out various ways to contact her (via Instagram, e-mail, Facebook, etc.) She also mentions her “mom’s number,” but it’s not clear what she means by that, considering her mother, author Bebe Moore Campbell, passed away in 2006.

Regardless, she’s refusing LL Cool J’s help, and it looks like he got the message, because he has since tweeted this:

Maia Campbell’s mental disorder and issues with drug abuse are well documented, especially in the media. She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in the late 90’s after acting out on the set of “In the House,” and after giving birth to her daughter in 2000, she stopped taking her medication and instead turned to drugs, which resulted in her losing custody of her child.

Campbell has been arrested several times over the years and also spent some time at a mental health facility after being arrested in 2010 for theft. In 2012, she opened up about her bipolar disorder—which explains her mood swings ranging from depressive lows to manic highs—and drug addiction on an episode of Iyanla: Fix My Life.

“There’s still pieces of my life that I’m working on right now … that it’s going to take me some time to refocus and rebuild and reinvent who I am within those pieces,” she said at the time. “I’m not going to let this old me tear me apart anymore.”

“There’s a lot of pain that goes into my story, a lot of issues with my mom,” she told Vanzant. “A lot of times when I was out there running the streets, I bumped into the wrong person and they brought me down.”

Three years later, in 2015 (not too long after her TV appearance), Maia was back to her old ways. In January of that year, she was arrested after going crazy at a Burger King in Atlanta, and that following February, she was arrested at a Waffle House in Riverdale, GA for disorderly conduct.

Jasmine Washington didn’t attend the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta reunion, but that didn’t stop her from defending herself with receipts.

The 27-year-old who claims Kirk Frost is the father of her baby has posted several alleged text messages from Kirk, begging her not to dump him. He even claims to love her.

“I personally feel we could go very far in a relationship,” Kirk allegedly writes to Jasmine.

“For the record do I love you.. Yes I do.. why and how if fell in love with you I don’t even know. I think about this all this all the time.. yeah I really really like you I really love you…”

Jasmine posted the text messages on Instagram Monday (Jul. 10) following the LHHATL reunion. It was most likely her response to Kirk claiming she’s a scammer, looking for fame. Kirk also stated, in front of his wife, Rasheeda, that he only slept with Jasmine once and used protection. These alleged text messages suggest otherwise.

In the texts, which date back to September 2015, the two discuss the beginning of their relationship and how/when they plan to see each other.

 

The relationship gets rocky as Kirk feels Jasmine has reconnected with her ex, while she contemplates being with a married man.


And yes, Kirk even talks about baby Kannon. Though he is now denying he is the father of Jasmine’s baby (and supposedly refusing to take a paternity test), Kirk was very interested in the baby’s well-being shortly after his birth in July 2016. He even wanted to confirm which hospital Jasmine was at.


In a separate Instagram post, Jasmine also says that Kirk bought her a white dress from Rasheeda’s clothing store, Pressed, to wear at her baby shower. She shared texts and pictures to prove this claim as well.

Jasmine definitely came with the receipts and her story is starting to be way more believable than Kirk’s. We don’t know if these text messages are authentic, but it just keeps getting worse and worse for Kirk. Maybe, now, he will finally tell Rasheeda the truth. Britney Spears’ associates have had “secret discussions” with television and advertising execs tied to Super Bowl LII, according to a source close to the situation. The game will take place Feb. 4 in Minneapolis.

“Britney has made it clear to her team that it is a dream to perform at a Super Bowl,” according to an insider. “She has the hits package and appeal to be a headliner.”

According to our source, Spears could also be packaged with other big acts to fill the 12-minute slot. The 35-year-old singer last rocked the Super Bowl in 2001, when she performed “Walk This Way” in Tampa with acts including Aerosmith and ’N Sync.

Last summer, Spears was asked point-blank by BBC Radio 1 if she would be game for another Super Bowl show.

“Yes, I would probably do that,” she answered.

Let’s not even get into the mind-boggling claim Britney recently made where she asserted, with confidence, that she doesn’t lip synch, as if we the general public don’t have functioning sets of eyes and ears. That delusional statement alone proves why she still needs to be under a conservatorship.

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Season 6 Reunion Part 1 Recap: The Whole Cast Cries With Rasheeda Because Kirk Ain’t Sh*t

Even a strong woman has her breaking point, and when Kirk Frost crept on Rasheeda and impregnated a sloppy, stripping side chick, the Boss Chick reached hers. The infidelity alone tore at Rasheeda’s heart but the lingering, painful drama over the lovechild that Kirk spawned with Jasmine played out on national television in front of the world for months on end.

As the cast of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta gathered for its season 6 reunion, the hurt and betrayal in Rasheeda and Kirk’s relationship took center stage and brought a somber note to an otherwise wild and ratchet affair.

“I wouldn’t wish this on nobody,” said Rasheeda, as she started to break down and turned to her mother Shirleen’s bosom for comfort. “He’s hurt me and it’s crazy because he’s also helped me grow to become the woman I am today. But when you hurt somebody and you dismantle a bond, that’s the hardest thing to get over.”

Dirty-dick Kirk sat over on the other couch lookin’ like a dog with his tail between his legs.

What were you thinkin‘, KIRK FROST? What made you think you could treat the Boss Chick like an Employee of the Month?

“Not only did you hurt me, but you broke me,” said Rasheeda, with some serious punctuation.

At that point, every live-in girlfriend, ex-wife, baby mama, jumpoff and side chick present during this powerful testimony was either in tears or sitting in complete silence out of respect.

Mimi Faust and Jessica Dime had tears streaming down their faces as Rasheeda poured her heart out. This makes sense since Jessica Dime is happily engaged and Mimi has almost been a wife more than once. Plus, Mimi knows the sting of infidelity since she faced it more than once as Stevie J’s baby mama.

Messy Karlie, who was the number one detective in this Kirk/Rasheeda baby mama drama, also shed a few tears for her gal pal.

Even Kirk’s fuckboy friends, Lil’ Scrappy and Joc—who have histories of infidelity of their own—hung their heads in shame over Kirk’s shameful betrayal.

“Do I love Rasheeda? I love Rasheeda to death. That is like my soulmate,” said Kirk. “I just pray that things get better.”

I hope Kirk has a good Bible handy cause it’s gonna take a WHOLE lot of prayer, holy water and worship to get our Lord and Savior to clean up this mess.

By the way, if you were holding out for a confrontation between Jasmine and Rod with Kirk and Rasheeda, you can forget it because Kirk and Rasheeda used their seniority to block Jasmine and her pimp from appearing on the reunion, and the dirty duo refused to Skype in for the reunion too.

Tacky Tommie Talks Trash to Everyone

I know that Tommie’s last name is Lee, but I didn’t realize she had real, Asian heritage to throw back to. At least, that’s the only explanation I can come up with for why Tommie showed up to the LHHATL Season 6 reunion looking like the Dragon Lady.

Wearing a mean Chinese bob, a sassy Shanghai top-knot, and a Geisha-inspired, jade-green, Shaolin jacket, Tommie looked like her name should’ve been General Tso, because her fried rice was poppin’.

Tommie’s presence on LHHATL has been a bit all over the place this season. She was cast as Lovely Mimi’s friend, which meant she was forced into pointless beef in support of Lovely Mimi, who is essentially the imitation crab meat version of a hood black chick. So she scrapped with Treasure, Joc’s sometime assistant and Jessica Dime’s rag doll, because Treasure made a comment about Tommie being “low” or beneath her.

Tommie also got into it with Jessica Dime during the season because she felt that Dime came at Tammy Rivera, Waka’s bae, wrong. And later, Tommie nearly got her wig knocked off by Dime when Tommie talked about how chicks who come at her slick could “get that work” from her. At which point, Jessica Dime promptly let Tommie know that when it comes to her, Tommie better keep her name in the unemployment line ’cause she’s not the one.

Surprisingly though, the two women were largely cordial at the reunion. Tommie saved most of her hot fire for Karlie Redd, her arch nemesis. In case you forgot why these two hate each other, Karlie was creeping with Tommie’s ex-boyfriend, Scrapp, behind her back. Which is reason enough to hate a bitch, to be honest.

Tommie has since made it her mission to pay Karlie back. On the show, she popped up with Karlie’s on-again, off-again boo thang, Yung Joc, in one episode. But during the reunion, things got really ugly when Karlie revealed that she went to Ceaser’s house recently and discovered that Tommie had snuck her way into Ceaser of Black Ink‘s bed too!

“I usually pick Ceaser up from his house almost every night to take him to my house, cause he ain’t got a car in Atlanta,” said Karlie. “They tell me, soon as I pull up to the house, ‘Yo, Tommie downstairs about to get f**ked.'”

This was especially painful since Karlie hooked up with Ceaser to make Joc jealous in the first place. So not only did Tommie sink her claws into Joc, but she licked her chops with his replacement too?

Karlie, you takin’ a whole lotta L’s from Tommie, boo.

“I’ma play with you till the death of you, bitch” said Tommie tauntingly.

Yo, Tommie is evil as hell. In fact, she could easily be cast as the black Cruella DeVil cause I’m sure her mean ass could skin puppies alive and not feel a damn thing about it. Then again, Karlie started it by stealing her man first, so you can’t be too mad at Tommie.

Shooter Shows Off His Abs, Moriah Shows Her Ass

In between the hot mess that was Kirk and Rasheeda’s marital breakdown, Joseline and Stevie’s paternity pettiness, Waka and Tammy’s road to reconciliation, and Tommie’s battle with her mother, depression and alcohol, season 6 of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta also played host to a ghetto subplot that played out in a nail salon you never heard of in Atlanta called the Glam Shop.

Sierra Gates, the owner of the Glam Shop, was the vehicle for our introduction to Lovely Mimi, aka Imitation Crab Meat. She “hired” Lovely Mimi but clashed with Mimi because Mimi was too extra. At least that’s the storyline that producers tried to shove down our throats.

However, the real tea was that Lovely Mimi should have been the least of Sierra’s concerns, because right underneath her nose and behind her back, her “best friend” and employee, Moriah, was sleeping with her husband, Shooter.

Lovely Mimi later exposed this deep deception and it ended explosively for Sierra and Moriah, which brings us to the reunion where Shooter, for some unknown reason, is dressed in white, ripped, distressed jeans with a button-up shirt that’s wide-open, showing off his bare torso.

Now, I’m not gonna say that Shooter is fat, ’cause he’s not. He’s in decent shape. But he’s also nobody’s Tyson Beckford with a ripped six pack, so it’s not entirely clear why Shooter is out here giving us all that body. Maybe he felt like “Shit, the ladies come out here showing all their wares and goods, why can’t I?” which…ok, that’s fair. But I still don’t think Shooter has any chance of becoming anyone’s sex symbol with that stunt.

And his wife, Sierra, makes this point herself when she mid-argument tells Shooter to button up his shirt in frustration.

“I just feel like you need to button up your shirt, because…” she said as she trailed off.

Shooter thankfully complied with Sierra’s request, though I wonder why the hell she let him walk out on stage like that in the first damn place.

There was a bit of a wild exchange between Moriah and Sierra, as Moriah, who was wearing a blonde wig that looked like it had been plucked straight off the head of a Mattel doll, half-heartedly apologized for sleeping with her boss and best friend’s husband in one breath, and then bragged about him eating her ass out in the next breath.

“Woman to woman, I give you a real sincere apology: I apologize,” said Moriah.

“Get on your knees, bitch” responded Sierra.

“Bitch, I aint’ gettin’ on my knees, your n**ga got on his knees when he ate my asshole!” said Moriah in a vicious mic drop.

Y’all gon’ learn to stop baiting these side chicks with fighting words, cause these bitches will go there every damn time.

The Ghost of Joseline Hernandez

Throughout the episode, the LHHA producers teased that Joseline was protesting and fighting production and refusing to participate in the reunion unless her demands were met. Mona Scott-Young is clearly DONE with Joseline’s antics but we’re gonna have to wait till part 2 of the reunion to see if the producers are able to coax Joseline the tiger out of her cage for the cameras.

NeNe Leakes Is Not Giving Up Her Peach, Denies Reports She Threatened to Quit RHOA After Massive Fight

Hold up, wait a minute! Casting rumors have plagued The Real Housewives of Atlanta for several months now. NeNe Leakes has mostly remained silent, but the latest outrageous headline caused the OG housewife to set the record straight.

Despite what you may have read, NeNe Leakes is NOT quitting RHOA over a massive fight that broke out during filming. NeNe took to Instagram on Sunday (Jul. 9) to tell her fans that not only is she staying on the hit Bravo show, but that that the alleged fight never even happened.

Rumors of a massive brawl between two new cast members made headlines last week. According to a source, Porsha Williams’ BFF Shamea Morton and NeNe’s friend, LaMarra George got into it during a dinner scene. Glasses were thrown and Shamea even had to be escorted out.

Following the filming leak, a headline surfaced claiming that NeNe threatened to quit the show due to the fight unless Shamea was fired. But according to the returning housewife, this is all fake news.

However, NeNe’s IG post does suggest that she’s having issues with one particular “chemically imbalanced” housewife. Hmm – Porsha, perhaps?

“PS: I am very clear about who the chemical imbalanced housewife is that’s looking for a moment but they are not gonna get it.”

The Maia Campbell video showing her looking strung out and begging for crack in Atlanta has caught the attention of her former In the House co-star LL Cool J.

UPDATE: Maia Campbell Says She Does NOT Need LL Cool J’s Help

Over the weekend, a video of the barely recognizable actress begging for crack at a gas station in Stone Mountain, Georgia (near Atlanta) went viral on blogs and social media.

Campbell and the rap legend starred alongside each other (along with Kim Wayans and Alfonso Ribeiro) in the hit 90’s TV series, and while the video has shocked and saddened just about everyone whose seen it, the minute-and-a-half clip particularly affected LL Cool J, who knew her personally.

After seeing the video, the rapper/actor took to social media to inquire into her whereabouts and asking for her contact information.

“If someone has a contact on Maia pls let me know..” he posted on Instagram along with a photo of the actress in her younger years before her drug addiction took over and dramatically changed her appearance.

He also contacted her directly on Twitter, according to this screenshot:

He continued, “Just because she was a black actress from back in the day, who we already all know from reading, she been on the block for years… we been knew this b*tch. She been doing dumb sh*t… been doing stupid sh*t. Went in the industry, got geeked up, f**ked the whole industry, n**gas sent her back to Atlanta and she got geeked up some more.”

Fans of the 40-year-old actress had mentioned that she suffers from mental illness and in instead of taking prescribed medicines from a doctor, she self-medicates with drugs like crack cocaine, something that even her mother, author Bebe Moore Campbell, knew about and wrote a book about before her death in 2006.

But, T Hood wasn’t buying that argument in the least bit, and thanked those who shared the video while slamming those who didn’t like it. “This ain’t no mental disorder,” he said. “Shawty is just high as f**k… So please stay off my page with that sh*t. Salute to everybody who posted it. F**k you if you hating.”

T Hood aka One Dread wrote in the caption of his video response:

One time and one time only for you dumb ass hypocritical ass black people.. if I would have posted a white person or some crack heads fighting y’all would be hype but no just cause y’all think y’all know someone cause they “WAS” famous at one point doesn’t make shit cool for her to be on drugs PERIOD.. I’m just a real person I don’t discriminate on who I post.. if you out here and u walk up on me begging me to buy you crack FOR YEARS.. I will post yo stupid ass too.. if y’all care so much why y’all stop supporting her and got her on the block being a junkie? For Hypocrites only.. **middle finger emoji** #OneDread

The rapper wrote in another post on Instagram:

One thing I can say.. this is a sad situation where everyone from Stone Mountain has been knew this lady and she has always got food from me and money or whatever she wanted not because I knew who she was but because she was a addict in my neighborhood. She does not want help I have seen multiple people try to help her but she stole from them and ran back to crack.. I never tried to disrespect or try to harm her in anyway by posting the video. Right before the video she came up to me asking for crack and told me who she was so I recorded it. She started telling me about all the industry d**ks she has had in Hollywood and it reminded me of girls these days so I tried to show the world that crack is real and people not seeing the bigger picture. Nobody has asked me where she at to go help everyone just want to think I was making fun but I was showing y’all drugs f**ked up no matter who you are. I’m sorry to any of my fans or friends I hurt in the situation but please remember that I help this lady all the time and she doesn’t want the help. Love one dread.

T Hood also reached out to LL Cool J on Instagram after the rapper/actor asked for Maia’s whereabouts. It’s unknown whether he was the one who provided LL with the contact information.

Hopefully the next update we get on this situation is LL Cool J telling us about whether he was able to contact her and get her the help she desperately needs to clean up so that something good can come out of all of this.

Blac Chyna Granted Temporary Restraining Order Against Rob Kardashian Following Cyberbullying & “Revenge Porn” Outburst

The nasty social media feud between Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna has officially become a legal matter. Chyna has been granted a temporary restraining order against Rob.

Along with her attorney, Lisa Bloom, Chyna appeared in a Los Angeles court today (Mon, Jul. 10.) A judge granted a protective order that says Rob must stay 100 yards away from Chyna at all times. He also been ordered to refrain from cyberbullying Chyna, including posting photos, videos, or making personal statement about her online.

Following the judge’s ruling, Chyna spoke briefly outside the courtroom with her lawyers:

“I will like to first and foremost thank the judge for granting me this restraining order to protect me and I’m just going to get back to co-parenting Dream.”

It’s unclear how long the TRO will remain in place.

Although Rob did not appear in court on Monday, his lawyer, Rob Shapiro spoke on his behalf and did not contest the order during the hearing.

According to Chyna, she and Rob have been broken up since December. However, she claimed that Rob’s actions last week caused her great concern, particularly because of his past violent behavior.

“Rob has been violent with me in the past and I am afraid to be around him,” Chyna said in the restraining order request filed on Friday (Jul. 7). She then recounted an alleged violent incident that occurred in April.

[Chyna] said that in April, Rob began berating her in front of her son King Cairo, 4. She said that when she asked him to stop, he screamed, “I can say whatever the f–k I want!” then grabbed her phone and pushed her to the ground, “aggressively shoving me by the side of my arm and hitting me on the thigh.” She says she fell to the ground and was bruised and could barely walk.

Sources tell TMZ that Chyna hid in a bedroom and broke the door opening during this alleged incident. The sources also claim Chyna has photos and videos to support her claims.

Chyna’s granted restraining order comes nearly a week after Rob went off on her in an extended explicit rant on social media. He also posted and deleted several nude photos of her, which could have violated California’s “revenge porn” law.

In response to his outburst, Chyna claimed on Snapchat Rob beat her during their relationship.

“Rob u did all this but u beat me up and try to act it never happen! U put hand on me I swear on god! On my kids but I’m supposed to be quiet because you’re a Kardashians”

She deleted the snap, but clearly her allegations were serious enough to warrant a restraining order.
