Kenya Moore Talks Pregnancy Rumors with Wendy Williams: “I Will Say When I Am Able to Say”

Despite the reports and photos, Kenya Moore is still mum on whether she’s about to become a mom in the coming months. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star appeared on the Wendy Williams Show, but masterfully dodged the host’s prodding.

Kenya sat on Wendy’s purple couch Tuesday (Dec. 5) to promote RHOA, but you know nosy Wendy had several questions about Kenya marriage and rumored pregnancy. “Are you pregnant, now?” Wendy asked.

“I will say when I am able to say. We have been very upfront about wanting to have kids together… I am not saying either way, but when I am ready to say, I will tell the world.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLaXuFz_gPM

Last week, we reported that Kenya is rumored to be pregnant, but was choosing not to make an announcement until she’s in the “safe zone” of her pregnancy. Another report suggested she was already nearing the end of her first trimester.

The RHOA star confirmed to Wendy the photos of her at a Barbados fertility clinic in November are real, but didn’t go into further detail. “I’m not opposed to treatments,” she told Us Weekly when recently asked about IVF and the photos.

Kenya also defended her marriage to the talk show host. The internet and even several of her RHOA castmates have questioned whether Kenya is really married to businessman Marc Daly.

“I’m married in the eyes of the law and in the eyes of the Lord. My marriage has been ordained by God and we are doing exceptionally well.”

Respecting her husband’s (and his family’s) privacy, Kenya did not reveal to Wendy if Daly had any children of his own. However, we already know that he has at least one, as Kenya wished him a happy Father’s Day on social media earlier this year. Wendy didn’t let it slide and called her a “stepmom” anyways.

Though Kenya has yet to confirm anything, it’s pretty safe to assume that she’s either currently pregnant or she’s planning on becoming pregnant in the coming months.

Naya Rivera Re-Files for Divorce From Husband Ryan Dorsey One Week After Domestic Battery Arrest

In a not-so-shocking move, Naya Rivera has filed for divorce from her husband, Ryan Dorsey, after three years of marriage.

The former Glee star is citing “irreconcilable differences” and is seeking joint custody of their 2-year-old son, Josey. Rivera is also requesting the judge to deny Dorsey spousal support. The documents were filed by Naya’s lawyer, Laura Wasser.

We shouldn’t be surprised that the couple is finally parting ways. Rivera was arrested over Thanksgiving weekend for domestic battery after she hit Dorsey in the head and lip. The couple was taking a walk in Dorsey’s West Virginia hometown and began arguing about their son.

Dorsey sustained only “minor injuries” and did not need medical attention. Nonetheless, Rivera was taken into custody and was released on $1,000 bond.

Rivera previously filed for divorce in November 2016, but called it off almost a year later in October 2017. “It is what its, but I’m glad that my family is together,” she said at the time.

This is clearly a toxic relationship. It’s probably best for the couple to divorce before it escalates to an even more serious matter.

Terry Crews Files Lawsuit Against Agent Adam Venit for Sexual Assault

Terry Crews is taking all the steps to ensure the agent he says groped him won’t get a pass. The actor has now filed a lawsuit against William Morris Endeavor agent Adam Venit.

In the lawsuit, Crews says Venit stared at him “like a rabid dog, sticking his tongue in and out of his mouth provocatively” while at a Hollywood party last year. Venit—who represents Adam Sandler—then grabbed Crews’ genitals and the actor pushed him away.

“Adam, come get your boy! He’s grabbing my nuts,” Crews yelled to Sandler after the incident.

Crews says he’s “never felt more emasculated” and that he’s still coping with being sexually molested at the age of 48. He also says he’s suffered psychologically since the incident and worries that Venit’s power in the industry could negatively impact his career.

Crews publicly spoke out about his experience with Venit following the Harvey Weinstein scandal in October. WME suspended Venit for 30 days while the agency launched an investigation into the matter. He returned to the agency last week with a demotion.

Though Crews publicly came forward in October, he actually informed the agency the day after the incident occurred. He first contacted his personal WME agent, Brad Slater.

The actor received a phone call from Venit a few hours later. Venit apologized and claimed “he was just not himself that night.”

Crews also met with WME chairman Ari Emanuel, who apologized for Venit’s behavior and assured Crews that Venit “did not have that level of power” to harm his career.

Interestingly, Russell Simmons—who is facing his own sexual assault allegations—advised Crews to give Venit “a pass” and move on. “No one gets a pass,” Crews wrote on Twitter.

Terry Crews has since parted ways with Williams Morris Endeavor.

Ray J Joining “The Real” As New Co-Host? LHHH Star Sparks Speculation With Cryptic Instagram Post: “Looks Like I Got A New Job!”

Has The Real finally found a fifth co-host to replace Tamar Braxton? Nothing has been confirmed, but there’s a whisper that that another voice will be joining “Girl Chat” and that voice allegedly belongs to a guy!

With one cryptic Instagram post on Monday (Dec. 4), Ray J sparked speculation that he may be joining the daytime talk show as a permanent co-host. “Looks like I got a new job,” he captioned a photo of himself with the current Real hosts.

“Looks like a got a new job!!! Stay tuned!! #TheRealwithRayJ #telepictures #DaytimeTV”

https://www.instagram.com/p/BcSsp0chDbB/?taken-by=rayj

The speculation left some Real fans just as confused as I am.

https://twitter.com/AlexGreen713/status/937889150052712448

Ray J previously served as a guest co-host just last week on November 27 when he also announced that his wife, Princess Love, is pregnant with their first child. Again, nothing has been confirmed. As far as we know, Ray could just be hyping up his next guest co-host appearance.

But the Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star has been on his grind lately. He signed a $31 million deal in early November with a tech company to launch his own electronic transportation brand.

Since its 2014 debut, The Real has featured an all-female panel and is known for its signature “Girl Chat” segments. Adding a male presence (let alone Ray J) would be a shocking move, especially since the show’s target audience is young, millennial women.

The current panel features Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, and Tamera Mowry-Housely. Original co-host Tamar Braxton was unexpectedly fired in 2016 and the show has yet to officially replace her, using a rotating door of guest hosts instead.

Kandi Burruss Will Make Broadway Debut in “Chicago” Following Xscape Tour

Kandi Burruss is briefly giving up her peach to hold an apple. While the RHOA star isn’t joining Real Housewives of New York, she is heading to the big city for her Broadway debut.

Kandi announced Monday (Dec. 4) that she will be joining the musical Chicago on Broadway in January. The Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter will portray Matron “Mama” Morton for an eight-week stint from Jan. 15 to March 11 at the Ambassador Theater.

Kandi will make her Broadway debut just weeks after the conclusion of her nationwide reunion tour with her girl group, Xscape. The group will continue to make new music as a trio, while Kandi has chosen not to participate, citing her other opportunities, including her Broadway aspirations.

Celebrating its 21st year, Chicago is the 2nd longest-running musical and the longest running American musical on Broadway. The current production stars Tony Award nominee Charlotte d’Amboise as Roxie Hart, original cast member Leigh Zimmerman as Velma Kelly, and YouTube star Todrick Hall (through Jan. 14) as Billy Flynn.

Queen Latifah portrayed Matron “Mama” Morton in the 2002 film adaptation and received an Oscar nomination.

Twitter Provides Epic List of “Bad Bitches” in Response to Taylor Swift Fan Claiming She Was the Baddest

Taylor Swift is probably somewhere celebrating that her album, Reputation, spending its third consecutive week at the top of the charts, but she might wanna stay off Twitter right now. After a fan claimed their fave was the “baddest,” Twitter has been going all the way in on Taylor Swift to prove otherwise, with receipts!

On the day Reputation dropped way back in early-November, a fan made the rhetorical statement: “Name a b*tch badder than Taylor Swift.”

But leave it to Twitter to make something go viral a whole month latter. Over the past few days, many Twitter users have responded to the tweet by naming several other “bad bitches,” including historical figures like Rosa Parks and Harriet Tubman, Holocaust survivors, feminists, and even their own mothers and grandmas.

https://twitter.com/catinthehat1003/status/937102758208978944

https://twitter.com/DesDelgadillo/status/937340026572087297

I’m sure the original poster only wanted to show Taylor Swift some love, and didn’t mean anything by the tweet. However, even Swift can’t argue with this list of strong women.

Meek Mill’s Bail Request Denied By Judge Who Claims He’s a “Danger to the Community”

Meek Mill’s fight to be released from jail on bail continues. The controversial judge presiding over the controversial case denied the Meek’s request last week, claiming the rapper is a “danger to the community.”

After refusing to respond to the bail request for several weeks, Judge Genece Brinkley denied bail to Meek—whose real name is Robert Williams—on Friday (Dec. 1). Court documents obtained today give insight into the judge’s decision. Brinkley says:

“[Williams] is and continues to be a danger to the community in Philadelphia, New York, Missouri, and other locations throughout the United States, he continues to be a danger to himself based upon a history of continuous use of illegal drugs, and is an increased and greater flight risk because he already has been sentenced to a term in state prison and gave false information to authorities when he was arrested in St. Louis, Missouri.”

Meek allegedly providing police and his probation officer an incorrect address is the “false information” Brinkley mentioned. However, the rapper’s lawyer says he provided the same address that’s on his license.

Brinkley also questioned the accuracy of Meek’s drug test, suspecting he used a substance called “Fast Flush” to clean his system.

Meek’s legal team filed additional documents today to request Judge Brinkley be removed from the case. Joe Tacopina, one of his lawyers, said Brinkley “continues her long pattern of unfair treatment” in response to her bail denial.

He added that Meek is “no threat to the community” and an “ideal candidate for bail.”

Meek’s lawyers first filed a motion to have Brinkley recused on Nov. 14, claiming she had a personal vendetta against their client and that she was the subject of an FBI investigation due to her actions. As protocol, the FBI did not confirm or deny such investigation.

Meek Mill has been in jail since Nov. 6 after Judge Brinkley ruled that his two arrests earlier this year violated the terms of his probation stemming from a nearly decade-old drugs and gun case. He was sentenced 2-4 year behind bars.

The sentencing has gained national attention, given neither the prosecutor nor Meek’s probation officer recommended jail time. Several celebrities and fans have come to the rapper’s defense.

Tyga’s Last Kings Clothing Store Robbed in Los Angeles, Police Have No Suspects

Tyga got robbed! Well, his Los Angeles clothing store was robbed. Police are currently investigating the matter, but currently have no suspects.

TMZ reports that Tyga’s Last Kings clothing store was broken into either late Friday night (Dec. 1) or early Saturday morning. The thieves got away with several articles of clothing, but the total value of the stolen items is unknown.

An employee reported the robbery when they arrived on Saturday morning to open for business. Police arrived at the storefront located on Melrose in the Fairfax area of LA to survey the scene and check for clues. They have opened an investigation, but have yet to identify any suspects.

Tyga’s Egyptian-themed clothing venture has faced a few obstacles since it opened in 2014. Last year, he was ordered to pay $186K to the landlord of a rental property he was using for his clothing label. The landlord sued to cover damages to the property and five months of unpaid rent.

From TMZ:

“Tyga’s landlord found the place abandoned, and it was a disaster. The doors had been painted black with Egyptian patterns, the ceiling tiles were painted over and there were ink stains around 5,000 feet of concrete flooring. What’s worse … the landlord says someone poured ink down the drain and into the public sewer … an environmental no-no.”

And in 2015, Tyga’s collaborator and former business partner, Chuon Gen Lee, sued the rapper for $1.6 million, claiming he stole the Last Kings brand concept and failed to hold up his end of a business agreement the two had made. She not only won the case, but the damages were increased to $2.1 million earlier this year.

So yeah, Tyga definitely needs the money from those stolen goods.

Ciara Tapped to Co-Host “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” Alongside Ryan Seacrest

Ciara will be kicking her 2018 off with a bang. The singer has signed on to co-host the legendary Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve TV special alongside Ryan Seacrest.

Celebrating its 46th year, Ciara will ring in the new year in Los Angeles as the show’s official West Coast host, while Seacrest will be in Times Square and count down the ball drop for the 100th anniversary of the tradition. Jenny McCarthy will also provide commentary from within the Times Square crowd.

This will be Ciara’s return to the program since her 2005 debut when she performed her hits “Goodies,” and “1, 2 Step.” She said in a statement:

“When I performed on this show back in 2005, I was so young and it was so special and exciting to be part of such an iconic show. Over 10 years later, it’s a really great feeling to say I’ve had the opportunity to host and perform on the show and I can’t wait to ring in the New Year with the world.”

Ciara takes over the LA hosting duties from Fergie, who has held the gig since 2007. The Hollywood segments have been pre-recorded in the past and will feature several musical performances. There’s no word if Ciara will host live.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that K-pop sensation, BTS, recorded a performance for the broadcast during their recent visit to LA. The group also performed at the American Music Awards, another staple of Dick Clark Productions.

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2018 kicks off its five-and-a-half hour broadcast Dec. 31 at 8 pm on ABC.

Is Kenya Moore Pregnant? Rumors Suggest 46-Year-Old RHOA Star Is Expecting Her First Child With Husband Marc Daly

Kenya Moore may be receiving her best Christmas gift ever this year! Though it has not been confirmed, reports suggest the newlywed is currently with child.

Industry on Blast reported Friday (Dec. 1) that the 46-year-old was “rejoicing in her pregnancy news.” However, she has chosen to wait a few months before making an official announcement when she’s in the “safe zone” of her pregnancy.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star has long dreamed of being a wife and a mother. Most of her storylines have centered around her finding “the one” so that they can start a family together.

In a surprise move, Kenya married restauranteur Marc Daly earlier this year and they apparently moved quickly to conceive as well. Just last month we reported Kenya had traveled to Barbados to begin IVF treatments at the renowned the Barbados Fertility Centre.

Her husband was not with her at the time, but was reported to join her within the next few days. It was also reported the couple had planned to stay in the Caribbean for several weeks in order to complete the process.

However, despite the IVF treatments, Best Reality Blog reports that Kenya and Marc conceived “the natural way” and is close to the end of her first trimester.

Instagram posts within the last day feature Kenya showing off a flat, toned tummy and kickboxing. But, these could also just be old photos/videos.

We will have to wait until Kenya actually confirms the news, but in the meantime, GoT is sending the happy couple many congratulations!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays on Bravo.

Xscape Hires Vincent Herbert As Music Manager, Drops 2 New Singles As a Trio (Without Kandi Burruss)

The Xscape comeback continues! The 90s group just kicked off their highly-anticipated reunion tour, but they’re already looking towards the future. The group is taking advantage of their comeback and moving full-steam ahead with new music and a new manager (sans Kandi Burruss).

Xscape exclusively revealed to HipHollywood that they have hired Vincent Herbert as their music manager. Following the conclusion of their reunion tour in January, the quartet will officially become a trio, featuring LaTocha Scott, Tameka “Tiny” Harris and Tamika Scott.

“We sat down with him, had some food and just talked, like how most business takes place, he just got our vision and he saw the potential in us,” said Tamika.

Herbert is best known for managing his soon-to-be ex-wife, Tamar Braxton, and formerly Lady Gaga.

“We love what he did with Tamar and Lady Gaga and we also knew he understood the business,” Tiny added. “We’re really excited.”

Though the trio has signed with Herbert, they are not severing ties from current manager Mona Scott-Young, who produced their 4-episode Bravo reality series and will produce their upcoming biopic in 2018.

“[Mona] is still managing the four of us for the reality show, and TV and film projects. Vincent manages the music,” LaTocha explained.

And new music is already here! Working with producer Tricky Stewart, Xscape has been working hard in the studio. “We recorded six songs, in like six days,” LaTocha said.

The new trio dropped two new singles, “Dream Killa” and “Wifed Up” on Friday. They clearly still got vocals, but I also can’t help to notice that they’re very chummy with auto-tune.

“Dream Killa” and “Wifed Up” are both available on iTunes and other digital platforms.

The singles are the group’s first new recordings since 2005. However, the days of their four-part harmony are most likely long gone. The quartet hasn’t recorded together since 1998 and Kandi has confirmed she will, once again, part ways with the group when their tour ends.

Teairra Mari’s “New Boo” Already Has a Girlfriend and They’re Using Teairra for Publicity (Report)

Teairra Mari has really been living her best life over the past few months. She’s been getting her life together since acknowledging her alcoholism and going to rehab and has even returned to music. It also now seems she’s found love.

But, is it too good to be the real deal? Unfortunately, the Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star’s new bae may be playing her (or us).

For the past few months, Teairra has been seen getting quite cozy with a mystery man. A recent Snapchat story she posted shows the new couple staring into each other’s eyes and leaning in for a kiss. “Love at first sight” was captioned over the short clip.

They were also caught kissing in the club in mid-November.

And back in October, Teairra even posted a pic on her Instagram with the caption, “I feel so safe when I’m in your arms.” The snapshot looks like a simple selfie at first, until you notice a man’s arm draped around her, holding her tight.

Aww, how sweet! The couple is keeping it quiet, getting to know each other, and letting their love naturally grow without any public scrutiny. It all seems like a whirlwind affair, right? Or is it just an affair? Unfortunately, Fameolous is exclusively reporting that Teairra’s new bae actually already has a girlfriend.

With photographic receipts, the gossip site says that the mystery man is only using Teairra for TV and publicity purposes. In fact, his real girlfriend is in on the alleged ruse and agreed to delete her social media accounts to fool the rest of us.

Fameolous reports:

Before these ppl steal our tea we broke weeks ago about teairra mari’s boyfriend having a girlfriend. Him and teairra mari are only for Tv purposes we can confirm. His real girlfriend deleted her account so he can make a check in peace. That’s the real scoop.

Note: He’s not married his real girlfriend just carries his last name online. That was a mistake on our end.

It’s also possible Teairra Mari knows what’s up and is simply playing along because the faux relationship benefits her as well. Maybe the internet will identify the mystery man or we may have to wait till the next season of LHHH to find out the “truth.”

WATCH: Ashanti & Joe Budden Have Heated Debate Over Stripper Jokes He Made At Her Expense

Ashanti was most definitely ready to confront Joe Budden and DJ Akademiks about comments the two made about her onstage outburst when fans threw money at her like she was a stripper. And for a minute or two, things got a little tense.

https://youtu.be/BKx80pTH1cg?t=18m45s

The R&B singer appeared on Everyday Struggle to promote her new single “Say Less,” which she advised Akademiks (and Budden) should do more often.

The conversation then shifted to jokes the two hosts made about Ashanti when she recently lashed out at fans who she felt was treating her like a stripper while she was performing onstage. “Let’s talk about it; I’m here,” she said.

Akademiks was first to try to explain himself, stating “I gave the little safe, PC answer ‘cus I know how Twitter takes these type of things.” But it was Budden who previously said that Ashanti was, in fact dressed like a stripper, which he repeated with Ashanti now in-studio. “Hold it!” she immediately stopped him.

“I had on a body suit, with boots, which 90 percent of my peers wear, which we perform in. We’re there to do a show, so that’s what you wear. Strippers are naked. Strippers, sometimes they have on thongs, they’re half-naked.”

Budden stated that it’s illegal for strippers to be naked in New York and claimed they now wear bodysuits and boots. “I’ve never seen a stripper in a bodysuit!” Ashanti exclaimed.

“The point I’m making to you is: I’ve been in the strip club. I’ve seen things; I’ve seen private areas. My private areas weren’t out. If I wore a stethoscope am I a doctor? Yes, or no?”

Budden and Akademiks both answered no, but also noted she’d still be dressed like a doctor. “Would you like me to operate on you?” she asked. “Hell, no!” Budden shot back. Making her point, Ashanti then said she shouldn’t have money throw on her just because she’s in a bodysuit.

“Time out. We were joking,” Budden relented. “We don’t seriously think you should have money thrown on you. What do you think, we’re ignorant f*cks up here?” he asked. “Sometimes,” Ashanti laughed.

Though it got a little tense for a few minutes, the three quickly squashed the mini beef. In fact, they concluded the hour-long interview with laughs and jokes.

Below is the viral video that’s at the center of the friction.“Yo, Imma need you to stop throwing that money. I’m not a f***ing stripper!” Ashanti tells fans after several bills rained on stage.

Russell Simmons Steps Down From Companies After Jenny Lumet & Two Other Women Accuse Him of Sexual Assault: “I Have Been Thoughtless & Insensitive”

Sexual assault allegations have forced Russell Simmons to “step aside” from his companies. “I don’t want to be a distraction so I am removing myself from the businesses I founded,” the hip hop mogul said in a statement as three women accuse him of sexual assault.

Simmons released a written statement Thursday (Nov. 30) announcing his leave of absence. The decision and statement are in response to writer Jenny Lumet claiming he forced her to have sex with him in 1991 as well as accusations by at least two other women.

Simmons acknowledged his misconduct in the past and writes “this is a time of great transition” in regards to women speaking out and holding men accountable to sexual harassment and assault. He writes in part:

“While I have never been violent, I have been thoughtless and insensitive in some of my relationships over many decades, and I sincerely apologize. This is a time of great transition. The voices of the voiceless, those who have been hurt or shamed, deserve and need to be heard.

“As the corridors of power inevitably make way for a new generation, I don’t want to be a distraction, so I am removing myself from the businesses that I founded. The companies will now be run by a new and diverse generation of extraordinary executives who are moving the culture and consciousness forward. I will convert the studio for yogic science into a not-for-profit center of learning and healing.

“As for me, I will step aside and commit myself to continuing my personal growth, spiritual learning and above all to listening.”

In an open letter published by The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday, screenwriter Jenny Lumet vividly recounts a night in 1991 in which she claims Simmons forcibly had sex with her at his home, despite her never expressing consent nor showing any desire she was interested in him. Lumet was 24 at the time.

Lumet writes in part:

“I couldn’t open the doors. I couldn’t open the windows. The car was moving. The driver did not stop. He did not take me to 19th Street. He took me to your apartment…

“There was penetration. At one point you were only semi-erect and appeared frustrated. Angry? I remember being afraid that you would deem that my fault and become violent. I did not know if you were angry, but I was afraid that you were.

“I desperately wanted to keep the situation from escalating. I wanted you to feel that I was not going to be difficult. I wanted to stay as contained as I could.
You told me to turn over on my stomach. You said something about a part of my body. You did not ejaculate inside me.

“When it was over, I got my clothes and quickly went down in the elevator by myself. You didn’t try to stop me. I went home in a taxi. I was grateful to be secure in my home. I never told anyone this story until October 27 of this year (after the Harvey Weinstein story was in the news).”

Simmons says he recalls the encounter in question with Lumet differently, but does not discount her experience. He wrote in his statement:

“I have been informed with great anguish of Jenny Lumet’s recollection about our night together in 1991. I know Jenny and her family and have seen her several times over the years since the evening she described. While her memory of that evening is very different from mine, it is now clear to me that her feelings of fear and intimidation are real.”

Earlier this month, model Keri Claussen Khalighi claimed that Simmons forced her to perform oral sex on him in 1991 while film director Brett Ratner watched. She was only 17 at the time.

“I looked over at Brett and said ‘help me’ and I’ll never forget the look on his face,” she revealed in an article published by the Los Angeles Times. “In that moment, the realization fell on me that they were in it together.”

Khalighi says she initially fought “wildly” against Simmons attempts to force penetration, but “just acquiesced” to oral.

After the assault and feeling “disgusting,” the then-17-year-old says Simmons entered the shower with her and non-consensually penetrated her.

In the same LA Times report, former hotel employee Tanya Reid accused Simmons of forcing her to perform oral sex on Ratner in 1994 when she was 18.

Simmons discounted Khalighi’s allegations and stated that anything that occurred between the two was “with her full consent and participation.” He went on to say he doesn’t recall any encounter with Reid.

Matt Lauer Is “Ashamed” & Apologizes for Sexual Misconduct: “There Is Enough Truth In These Stories”

Matt Lauer has issued his first statement since being fired from NBC News after he was accused of sexual harassment. The now-former Today show anchor admits there is “enough truth” to the allegations and apologizes for his behavior, adding he is “embarrassed” and “ashamed.”

Anchored by Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb, Today’s top story on Thursday morning (Nov. 30) was, once again, Lauer. The broadcast began with their former colleague’s first official statement regarding the matter.

Lauer wrote:

“There are no words to express my sorrow and regret for the pain I have caused others by words and actions. To the people I have hurt, I am truly sorry. As I am writing this I realize the depth of the damage and disappointment I have left behind at home and at NBC.

“Some of what is being said about me is untrue or mischaracterized, but there is enough truth in these stories to make me feel embarrassed and ashamed. I regret that my shame is now shared by the people I cherish dearly.

“Repairing the damage will take a lot of time and soul searching and I’m committed to beginning that effort. It is now my full-time job.

“The last two days have forced me to take a very hard look at my own troubling flaws. It’s been humbling. I am blessed to be surrounded by the people I love. I thank them for their patience and grace.”

Lauer was fired yesterday after a colleague filed a detailed complaint against him on Monday and NBC News determined he displayed “inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.” The specific incident reportedly occurred during the 2014 Sochi Olympics and continued thereafter.

Though NBC stated this was the first formal complaint against Lauer, a two-month investigation by Variety reports that multiple women “identified themselves as victims of sexual harassment by Lauer.”

Variety reported that Lauer once gave a female colleague a sex toy as a gift that also included a note describing how he would use it on her.

Another accuser claimed Lauer once summoned her to his office, dropped his pants and exposed his penis to her. She claims he reprimanded her when she refused to engage in any sexual activity.

“Work and sex were intertwined” for Lauer, a source told Variety. It was also claimed that the anchor “had a button under his desk that allowed him to lock his door from inside without getting up.”

The New York Times also reports that NBC received two more formal complaints against Lauer since Monday. One of these was by a woman who claimed Lauer called her to his office and had sex with her in 2011. She did not report the encounter at the time because she “felt ashamed.”

A 2006 clip of Lauer making a lewd comment towards co-anchor Meredith Vieira also surfaced yesterday. Back in 2012, longtime Today partner Katie Couric even revealed Lauer frequently pinched her butt.

Matt Lauer joined NBC News in 1992, becoming the official Today co-anchor in 1997.

Erica Mena Reportedly Joining “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” As Joseline’s Replacement

Has Mona Scott-Young found her Joseline Hernandez replacement? Rumors are swirling that she has and it’s none other than Love & Hip Hop OG, Erica Mena!

The Jasmine Brand is exclusively reporting that Erica has joined Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. Erica starred on LHH New York for four seasons until she quit the show in 2015. Sources tell TJB Erica is returning to the franchise and the Atlanta cast has welcomed her with open arms.

“She said she would never return to the show, but she’s back. They even threw her a party in Atlanta—on camera of course—to celebrate her official return to the show and welcome her to the A.”

Rumors of Erica rejoining the franchise were sparked by Erica herself in late-October when she asked her followers if she should make a comeback.

VH1 also released an “Evolution of Erica Mena” video just days after Erica’s tweet.

Sources add that she was added to the Atlanta cast because it “didn’t make sense for her to return to New York” since she’s always in Atlanta. “Her storyline and relationships were a better fit” for LHHATL, The Jasmine Brand reports.

Erica left the New York series in 2015 after starring in the show for four seasons. She was engaged to Bow Wow at the time and wanted to end the reality show chapter of her life. However, the two eventually broke up.

Sources also tell The Jasmine Brand that Bow Wow—who now stars on Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta—did not want his fiancée on reality TV.

“He thought it was ghetto and beneath her. It just wasn’t a good look, as far as he was concerned.”

Nothing has been confirmed by Erica, VH1 nor Mona Scott-Young. Nonetheless, blogs are already deeming her “the new Joseline.” Fan-favorite Joseline Hernandez abruptly quit the show earlier this year.

Video Shows Matt Lauer Telling Meredith Vieira “Keep Bending Over Like That,” Katie Couric Says He Frequently Pinched Her Butt

The morning news world is still grappling with the news that longtime Today show anchor Matt Lauer was swiftly fired for “inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.” However, his former co-anchor Katie Couric spilled some troubling tea about Lauer’s behavior way back in 2012.

In light of the Lauer’s firing and alleged behavior, a clip of Couric revealing he would often “pinch her ass” has resurfaced. Couric appeared on Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen in 2012 and was playing the fan-favorite game “Plead the Fifth.” She was asked what was Lauer’s most annoying habit.

“He pinches me on the ass a lot,” she answered with a slight grimace followed by a half smile. “Wow! I wouldn’t have a problem with that,” Cohen joked.

Couric and Lauer served as the official Today anchors for 11 years, with Couric leaving the show in 2006.

Shortly after Couric’s 2012 clip resurfaced, a second video leaked. The 2006 clip shows Lauer making a lewd comment to co-anchor Meredith Vieira. “Keep bending over like that. It’s a nice view,” he said as Vieira was getting mic’d up.

The comment was made during a commercial break and was not broadcast on national television. However, it was picked up by a local NBC affiliate that had remained on the NBC studio feed. Vieira had recently replaced Couric at the time.

In a company memo on Wednesday morning (Nov. 29), NBC News announced the decision to terminate Lauer’s employment was made after a colleague filed a detailed complaint on Monday.

NBC did not go into specifics, but anonymous sources tell Page Six Lauer assaulted a staffer during their coverage of the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

The NBC memo noted that this was the first formal complaint against Lauer, but they had “reason to believe this may not have been an isolated incident.” It has also been reported that the New York Times had been investigating sexual harassment allegations against Lauer for weeks.

Variety had been investigating the matter for at least two months. Current and former staffers tell the publication Lauer once exposed himself to a female employee and gave a sex toy to another as a gift. Variety also reports he enjoyed playing “F*ck, Marry, Kill” with his female co-hosts.

Matt Lauer has not commented on the allegations against him nor his firing from the Today show.

“Today” Show Anchor Matt Lauer Fired From NBC Over “Inappropriate Sexual Behavior” Claims

And another one bites the dust. Matt Lauer is the latest celebrity to be fired over sexual misconduct allegations.

NBC News announced early Wednesday morning (Nov. 29) that they were forced to let Lauer go after an employee filed a complaint about “inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.”

“Today” show co-anchors Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb seemed emotional as they announced Lauer’s firing, telling views that they were processing his departure but weren’t privy to all of the details just yet.

NBC News Chairman Andrew Lack said in a memo to employees Wednesday morning that a complaint made by a female colleague of Lauer’s prompted a serious review and represented a “clear violation of our company’s standards.”

Lack said this was the first complaint about 59-year-old Lauer for inappropriate behavior since taking over as the show’s anchor in 1997, however, there was “reason to believe” this may not have been the first time it’s happened.

“Our highest priority is to create a workplace environment where everyone feels safe and protected, and to ensure that any actions that run counter to our core values are met with consequences, no matter who the offender,” Lack said.

According to sources, Lauer has been the subject of an investigation from the New York Times for weeks, and reporters for Variety have also been discussing “serious sexual harassment allegations against Lauer” for at least two months.

“NBC was aware” of the reporting, Variety’s Elizabeth Wagmeister tweeted. “There are multiple women we’ve spoken to with far-ranging accusations against Lauer. The power of journalism has never been more evident with this cultural change.”

A spokeswoman for NBC News declined to comment beyond the information provided in Lack’s memo.

Ari Wilkenfeld, who said he’s representing Lauer’s female accuser, told The New York Times that he and his client met Monday evening with reps from NBC’s Human Resources and Legal Department.

“Our impression at this point is that NBC acted quickly, as all companies should, when confronted with credible allegations of sexual misconduct in the workplace,” Wilkenfeld said. “While I am encouraged by NBC’s response to date, I am in awe of the courage my client showed to be the first to raise a complaint and to do so without making any demands other than the company do the right thing.”

Guthrie, who joined Lauer on “Today” 2012, said that she was “heartbroken” for both him and the “brave colleague who came forward to tell her story and any other women who have their stories to tell.”

“I’m sure we will be learning more details in the hours and days to come,” she said. “And we promise we will share that with you.”

Guthrie said it can be difficult to make sense of sexual misconduct allegations against a longtime friend/colleague.

“How do you reconcile your love for someone with the revelation that they have behaved badly and I don’t know the answer to that,” she said. “But I do know that this reckoning, that so many organizations have been going through, is important, it’s long overdue and it must result in workplaces where all women — all people — feel safe and respected.”

Kotb added that she’s known Lauer as a friend and colleague for 15 years and “it’s hard to reconcile what we are hearing with the man who we know, who walks in this building every single day.”

Lauer’s name is added to an increasingly growing list of high-profile men in entertainment, politics, and media who are facing sexual misconnection allegations.

Just last week, Charlie Rose was fired by CBS News, PBS and Bloomberg after eight women accused him of past sexual harassment and unwanted advances in a Washington Post report. Rose, who co-hosted “CBS This Morning” apologized for his behavior via statement but said that some of the allegations were false.

Lauer’s firing comes after NBC News also terminated its senior vice president for booking, Matt Zimmerman, after finding out about “inappropriate conduct” with more than one woman at NBC’s parent company NBC Universal.

NBC News also cut ties with senior political analyst Mark Halperin after multiple reports surfaced that he sexually harassed at least a dozen women while serving as political director for ABC News.

Before joining Guthrie on “Today,” Lauer also shared his co-anchor duties with Meredith Vieira and Ann Curry, who made a tearful exit from the show in 2012. Curry said she felt humiliated by a “boy’s club” culture at the show.

Matt Lauer’s journalism career began in television markets throughout the country before he returned to his native New York and eventually began working for local NBC station WNBC as a co-anchor of the morning news program.

The married father of three began filing in on “Today” in 1992 and two years later was promoted as a news anchor before taking over for Bryant Gumbel in ’97.

Along with Katie Couric, Lauer went on to become a marquee name with NBC and helped “Today” maintain its status as a ratings powerhouse with countless interviews of world leaders and celebs, as well as coverage of presidential campaigns and Olympic Games.

Last year, Variety reported that Lauer’s contract with NBC had been extended through 2018 for $20 million a year, keeping him as one of the highest-paid anchors on TV.

The flood of sexual misconduct allegations began after reports from The New York Times and the New Yorker about allegations against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, and since then, actors Kevin Spacey and Louis C.K. have been suspended or removed from projects following allegations against them being made public.

Other prominent journalists, including NBC’s Mark Halperin and Michael Oreskes of NPR, have been fired or suspended from their jobs as well.

In addition to the aforementioned, the growing list of men accused of sexual misconduct includes actors Jeffrey Tambor, Steven Seagal, Ed Westwick, Dustin Hoffman, Jeremy Piven and Ben Affleck. The list also includes political figures such as Senator Al Franken and former president George H.W. Bush.

Matt Lauer didn’t immediately comment on the announcement of his firing.

Ja Rule Is 41 and Setting Thirst Traps on Instagram for Likes and….It’s Working

In many ways, time has not been kind to Ja Rule at all. His music career has dried up, shriveled up and disappeared completely.

His entrepreneurial reinvention and makeover went completely bust when his Fyre Festival went bankrupt and had to cancel at the last minute. But one area where Ja remains “blessed and highly favored” is when it comes to his body.

The Murda Inc. honcho uploaded a recent shirtless pic to his Instagram account that sent da ‘gram into a dizzying spell of “damn zaddy!” exclamations.

Ja has never been shy when it comes to showing off his washboard abs. They were on display in his debut with Jay-Z on the smash single “Can I Get A…” way back in 1998.

Ja is a lot less scrawny these days though and he’s giving his fans something to get excited about since his music and failed business ventures aren’t doing the trick.

Ja’s post garnered over 22,000 likes on Instagram, which vastly outpaces his usual likes, where he averages 4,000, 5,000, or 2,000. Not to mention the immediate pick-ups Ja got from The Shade Room and Baller Alert, which also racked up serious hearts and probably countless “Hey, Big Head!” DMs.

The funny thing is, the photo that Ja is “breaking the internet” with is actually a repost. The original sat largely ignored as part of a three-image post on November 2, where he asked if his Fast & Furious character should be revived.

The picture, which was the last the in the set, was dark, underexposed and poorly cropped. Someone on his social media team must’ve advised Ja that if he put the right IG filter on it….he could get poppin’! And so on Nov. 27, Ja reposted the image with the Amaro filter (I think), a better crop and a caption that shouts out God in that faux deep way that Instagram thots do when they want to show off their flesh and pout seductively but pretend like they were just caught undressed in the middle of a profound moment.

Honestly, you can’t be mad at Ja. The bills gotta get paid somehow and if flexin’ his bawdy on da ‘gram lands him a role in Chocolate City 3, good for him. And again, he’s 41. The world remains in awe of the BAWDY that J.Lo has been able to maintain at 48, so Ja deserves his roses too. Men can bring the sexy back in their 40s too.
