Hey, my loves. Tiffany Haddish recently signed a deal with Netflix, and, believe it or not, Mo’Nique couldn’t be happier for her.

After the “Girls Trip” star was dragged into the drama surrounding Mo’Nique’s attempted Netflix boycott, Haddish announced that she got her own deal with the streaming giant, and Mo’Nique was quick to let her know how proud she was.

When Mo’Nique was asking folks to boycott Netflix because she felt like they refused to pay her what she’s worth because of her gender and the color of her skin, she name-dropped Tiffany Haddish, saying that she’s part of the reason why she refused to accept Netflix’s offer.

Mo’Nique believed that Netflix lowballed her with a $500K offer for a standup special and accused the streaming service of racial and gender bias because they paid Dave Chapelle, Chris Rock and Amy Schumer millions more.

“I couldn’t accept that low offer, because if I did … I couldn’t sleep at night,” she said on ‘Sway in the Morning.’ “I say this humbly: I am the most decorated comedian alive. But if I accepted $500,000, what does Tiffany Haddish have coming? If I accept that, what does the black female comedian have coming? Because what they’ll say is, ‘Mo’Nique accepted this and she’s got that.’ So what do they have coming?”

Over the weekend, a fan wrote to Haddish on Twitter, saying that if she were to get a multimillion-dollar Netflix deal it would be because Mo’Nique stood up for her and other up and coming black comediennes.

But Haddish was quick to let the fan know that her deal was signed, sealed and delivered way before Mo’Nique brought her issues with Netflix to the forefront.

Tiffany will be voicing one of the lead characters in a new Netflix animated comedy series called “Tuca & Bertie,” and despite Mo’Nique’s own personal issues with Netflix, she let Haddish know that she’s genuinely happy for her.

“You’ve done nothing wrong my sister. You KEEP SHINING,” she said on Twitter. “I am proud of you. You keep doing what [you’re] doing. You are making it better for the next ones.”

In recent interviews, Mo’Nique has had no problems butting heads with anyone who questions her claims that she’s been “bullied” and “blackballed” by Hollywood.

Just last week, the comedian clashed with Whoopi Goldberg on “The View” over her refusal to travel overseas to promote “Precious,” which Whoopi said was contractually part of her job. “if you had called me, I could’ve schooled you on what was expected,” Goldberg told her.

Mo’Nique also got into an argument with “The Breakfast Club” host Charlamagne tha God after he questioned her attempted Netflix boycott and called her “Donkey of the Day.”

“You don’t know the history of this business that you’re in,” she said. “You sit behind this microphone and try to be the guru of Black culture. I’m going to need you to know the history of us before you begin to label us and once you know the history, you know I’m not saying anything unique, brother.”

Mugshot Madness: NBA YoungBoy Denied Bail & Extradited to Georgia for Girlfriend Assault, Kidnapping Case

It looks like NBA YoungBoy won’t be getting out of jail anytime soon. Following his arrest Sunday (Feb. 25) in Tallahassee, Florida on a fugitive warrant, the “No Smoke” rapper has been extradited to Georgia to pose for a new mugshot and to face aggravated assault, kidnapping and weapons charges. And on top of that, the judge ordered him to be held without bail.

NBA YoungBoy (real name: Kentrell Gaulden) was caught on video allegedly assaulting his girlfriend Jania at a hotel in Waycross, Georgia, which is what brought on the charges. The surveillance footage appears to show the rapper body slamming his GF in the hallway before dragging her back into their room.

Police were called to the scene, but by the time they arrived, YoungBoy and his girlfriend had already left. He was later arrested in Tallahassee after his tour bus was pulled over and police found out he had outstanding warrants.

Following YoungBoy’s arrest, Jania quickly hopped on Periscope to deny that she was assaulted. According to her, the two were just playing around like they normally do, however, the judge presiding over the case isn’t trying to hear that, especially since blood was found in their hotel room.

NBA YoungBoy is no stranger to the law, as he was just released from prison last May after pleading to a lesser charge from an attempted murder case. In that incident, the 19-year-old admitted to firing shots on Baton Rouge’s Kentucky Street on November 2nd, 2016. Police believed the shooting was in retaliation for the murder of Keondrae Ricks, who was killed on a nearby street earlier that day.

The rapper—who has been blowing up on the rap scene since his release from prison—is currently prepping the release of his debut album, Until Death Call My Name, which is due out on March 2nd.

Trey Songz Under Investigation for Allegedly Punching & Choking Woman During NBA All-Star Weekend

R&B crooner Trey Songz may be in serious trouble with the law.

The “Love Faces” singer is being accused of punching and choking a woman during NBA All-Star weekend.

TMZ reports:

Law enforcement sources tell us the woman filed a police report claiming Trey hit her in the face Saturday night while they were attending a Hollywood Hills party.

The unidentified woman claims Songz became furious after she talked to another man. The two got into an argument and Songz allegedly assaulted her. Following the alleged attack, the woman left the party and went to the hospital to be treated for her injuries. She later filed a police report.

The woman is now being represented by popular feminist attorney Lisa Bloom. Bloom released a statement on behalf of her client:

“He called her names, choked her and repeatedly punched her in the face. Several people were present and no one helped her,” the statement read. “When she took out her phone to call an Uber to get out of there, he threw her phone off a cliff to prevent her from leaving. She took out a second phone and he threw that off the cliff as well.”

A Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman confirmed detectives are investigating the incident.

Songz responded to the allegations in a tweet stating, “This too shall pass”.

Jerry Lee Curry: Fast Facts About Father Who Raped, Chained & Beat Mentally Disabled Twin Daughters for 10 Years

A disgusting sack of flesh masquerading himself as a human being is facing serious charges after brutally abusing his twin daughters, holding them captive, and getting one of them pregnant twice, among other horrific things.

51-year-old Jerry Lee Curry of Minnesota was arrested week and charged in Hennepin County District Court for crimes involving sexual conduct, abuse and stalking, which left his adult twins—who suffer from mental disabilities and are now in their early 20s—with injuries consistent with torture.

One of the twins said Curry would regularly threaten to kill them and dump them in the trash. The other twin reportedly managed to escape last May and call the police, however, according to the Star Tribune, authorities said they needed “sufficient evidence” before they could charge Curry.

Nearly a year later, that day finally came, as Curry surrendered himself to authorities last Wednesday (Feb. 21) and was booked into Hennepin County jail on a $750,000 bail.

Here are some things you need to know about Jerry Lee Curry and his heinous crimes.

1Jerry Lee Curry allegedly tortured his twin daughters for nearly a decade.

Jerry Lee Curry is accused of brutally beating, raping, and starving his twin daughters, who are both mentally disabled and now in their twenties.

According to the Star Tribune, the abuse occurred over a 10-year span and was fueled by Curry’s anger over one of the twins becoming sexually active and because he believed they were eating too much.

Curry allegedly kept the women chained up in the home and would barely feed them food.

One of the twins told authorities Curry chained her while she was naked and forced her to lie in pools of her own urine and feces. She said the chains were so tight that she almost lost her legs to gangrene, according to an order of protection.

Curry also allegedly threatened to kill the twins and dump them in the trash, one of the women said.

2Jerry Curry fathered two children with one of his twin daughters, who both suffer from mental disabilities.

According to a criminal complaint, DNA samples confirmed that Curry impregnated one of the twins twice. The first birth was in June of 2014 and the second one was in October 2017.

One of the twins said Curry had chained her to a door for as long as she could remember, and also denied her food.

“I don’t remember having enough food,” she wrote in a statement. “He forced me to have sex, (and) he has done this to me every day since I was (in my) early teens or so … He did this to my sister also.”

The twin also told authorities Curry “routinely raped” her and would at times use fists, bats and brooms.

According to the Star Tribune, the twin who was impregnated twice by Curry was determined by a psychologist to have a “mild to moderate” level of intellectual disability, and is unable to live on her own. The other twin was found to be more severely diminished and behaves like a six or seven-year-old child.

In a statement to the media, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman said the allegations against Curry were “as repulsive and horrendous as anything I have seen in my 18 years as county attorney.”

During a press conference the Thursday following Curry’s arrest, Freeman described the twins as “vulnerable adults” with “some limited capacity to communicate,” which prolonged the investigation. “This is a very complex and complicated case,” Freeman said. “Frankly, we’re all shocked at what we learned.”

According to the affidavit, doctors treating the twins discovered numerous scars on their backs, faces and scalps. One of them told police Curry allegedly stomped on her head, which left her blind in one eye. The twins initially denied being abused by Curry, but started to open up about what they had been through weeks later.

3One of the twins escaped last year in May and alerted police, but they refused to help on account of not having “sufficient evidence.”

Investigators became involved in the case after one of the twins escaped from the home in May 2017 and showed up to a homeless shelter with a detached ear and several scars and bruises.

However, despite her claims and injuries, the Star Tribune reports authorities said they needed “sufficient evidence” before they could charge Curry.

“When we had everything we needed, we filed the charges,” Hennepin County attorney spokesman Chuck Laszewski Laszweski said in a statement.

4Police had been called to the home 53 times prior to Curry’s arrest.

Since 2011, police had been to the home around 53 times, but no arrests were ever made, and the family’s situation was never reported to county workers.

Many of Curry’s neighbors witnessed the abuse the twins suffered at the hands of their own father and tried to get law enforcement officers involved.

“There have been a lot of incidences between yelling and screaming at the kids, locking them outside in their bras and underwear,” one neighbor said. “One of them even slept on the back steps a couple of nights.”

The neighbor said the police only made Curry allow the twins back in the home after he locked them out the house and made them sleep outside.

“I called the police, between us and the neighbors, we called adult protection, child protection, even animal control,” the neighbor added. “The police had been here when they were locked outside and they just beat on the door and made them let them back in.”

Another neighbor noted, “The system has to be fixed. This is not how things should work. This should have been resolved years ago.”

Outside of the twins, Curry also had another daughter in the house who told authorities she was often tortured by her father. The 10-year-old said Curry once hit her in the head with a golf club and, in another incident, made her attack her twin sisters with a stick.

The home was described as a “house of horrors,” and when officers first arrived on the premises, they said it looked more like a “sex chamber” with several sex toys scattered about in one room and pornography playing on the television.

5Curry was finally arrested and is facing numerous violent felonies.

On Wednesday, February 21st, 2018, Curry was finally booked at Hennepin County jail on $750,000 bond and was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct, stalking, first-and second-degree assault, abuse of a vulnerable adult, and a gross-misdemeanor count of child endangerment.

Curry had previously been arrested years before for drunken driving and low-level assault convictions.

6The twins’ mother Shelia Machelle Wilson also took part in the abuse and was recently arrested and charged as well.

Sheila Machelle Wilson, the twin’s mother, was arrested and charged with three counts of criminal neglect. Her bail was set at $300,000.

According to one of the twins, Wilson also took part in the abuse and chained them up along with their father.

“The last time my mom chained me to the door, pushed me and wouldn’t give me food,” the twin said in an order seeking protection.

“She hits me all the time. She knew my father was raping and beating me all these years. She let it go on. I am so afraid of my parents. I never want to be with them again. It feels so good to not be chained to the bed, raped and beaten every day.”

NYU Issues Half-Assed Apology for Racist Black History Month Meal That Featured Kool-Aid, Watermelon Water & Collard Greens

New York University is in serious hot water after serving a “special” meal “dedicated” to Black History Month that has made headlines and left several students offended.

In “honor” of Black History Month, the school served a menu in the dining hall that consisted of: BBQ ribs, collard greens, yams, cornbread, and macaroni and cheese along with Kool-Aid and Watermelon flavored drinks.

Nia Harris, a sophomore in N.Y.U.’s College of Arts & Science, took to Facebook in response to the incident and spoke on how upset and disappointed in the University she was for allowing it to take place.

She wrote in a lengthy message on the social media site:

This is what it’s like to be a black student at New York University. You go to a dining hall during February and you see “Black History Month Meal” plastered outside the entrance. You walk inside the dining hall only to find ribs, collard greens, and mac and cheese. You note that this is stereotypical, but you decide not to make a big deal. Then you see the beverages, Red Koolaid and watermelon water. You take a breath. You ask to speak with the person over this specific dining hall menu. After being bounced around from person to person you finally get a chance to meet with someone. Today this happened. Today I was lied to, placated, and ignored. In 2018 I literally had to explain why displaying watermelon and koolaid in celebration of Black History Month was not only racially insensitive but just ignorant. I’ve wanted to go to NYU since I was 7th grade, and it breaks my heart that at this allegedly “diverse” and “global” institution, black students are faced with issues like this one. Attached below is the email I sent to dining services today as well as the Deans of the University. However, I don’t want it to stop there. Please share, repost, comment, or whatever. TALK ABOUT THESE ISSUES. These institutions want black students for diversity statistics, but cannot handle when students speak out. It’s time for action.

NYU’s President Andrew Hamilton issued a half-assed apology a day later after students voiced their opinions over how racially-insensitive it was for the dining hall to put such a racist, stereotypical menu together. He also put all the blame on Aramark, the company that provides the meals in the University’s dining hall.

“NYU’s dining administrators will insist that Aramark put in place a mechanism to avoid a repeat of yesterday’s episode, such as consulting the existing student advisory body and campus cultural groups about the menu for special events,” Mr. Hamilton said in a statement.

Aramark also responded, saying that they fired the two employees (who were both white) that came up with the racist Black History Month meal.

“We have zero tolerance for any employee who does not adhere to our values or contradicts our longstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion,” Aramark said in a statement Wednesday. “Employees at NYU who acted independently and did not follow our approved plan for the celebration of Black History Month have been terminated and are no longer with the company. We are extremely disappointed by this regrettable situation and apologize to the entire NYU community and communities everywhere for their insensitive and offensive actions.”

To make matter’s even worse, the dining hall’s head cook initially told students that the menu was made up by employees who were black, only for University officials to later confirm that the Kool-Aid and Watermelon water was placed on the menu by white employees.

Students at the school also called out the University’s president over his apology statement, which they felt was unclear.

“I want the people who were fired. I want it to be clarified who they were, what their positions were, that they were not people of color because that’s a big misconception. I want him to state that on this campus, he values Black students,” Nia Harris said at an open panel held by NYU’s Center for Multicultural and Educational Programming in response to the controversial issue.

Kayla Eubanks, another student at the University also voiced her concerns in regards to Hamilton’s apology.

“When I read the statement, it seemed pretty vague,” Eubanks said. “I want him to say that we at NYU acknowledge that this was wrong, we do not agree with it and we’re literally taking the side with the students. I want him to directly say that.”

This is just another example of how America feels about Black people. I wonder what old wrinkled bird face Trump has to say about all of this. He probably wouldn’t even see what the big deal is, which is a whole ‘nother problem in and of itself.

Stacey Dash Running for Congress in California Proves She’s More “Clueless” Than We Thought

“Clueless” isn’t just the name of a popular movie Stacey Dash starred in. It also appears to be a way of life for the actress turned problematic Republican.

Stacey Dash has filed paperwork to make her run for Congress in California official. According to reports, Dash’s paperwork to run in California’s 44th district was filed Monday (Feb. 26).

Cali’s 44th district—which includes Compton, Watts, San Pedro and North Long Beach—has been represented by a Democrat for a while, and is currently represented by Democrat Nanette Barragán. Fun fact: More than 80% of the district’s residents voted for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in 2016, so Ms. Dash is most likely wasting her time, but whatevs, that’s her decision.

While Dash has yet to officially announce her run for Congress, the proud GOP member hinted at plans to do so a few weeks ago, writing on Twitter that a “number of people online and off” gave her the idea. In fact, she went as far as to ask Twitter for their opinion, and most people were like, “HO, SIT DOWN!”

Fast forward to now, and Twitter still doesn’t see it for the black woman who said Black History Month and BET shouldn’t exist.

T.I., Quavo, 2 Chainz & More Attend Nipsey Hussle’s “Victory Lap” Album Release Party in Atlanta (PHOTOS)

Celebrating the release of his debut studio album Victory Lap, Nipsey Hussle hosted a star-studded party Sunday night (Feb. 25) at Medusa Lounge in Atlanta.

A number of ATL rappers were in the building, including T.I., 2 Chainz, Quavo and YFN Lucci. Cash Money CEO Birdman, NBA star Isaiah Thomas (of the L.A. Lakers), and NFL player Pacman Jones (of the Cincinnati Bengals) were also spotted partying in the club.

Though Nipsey has been releasing music for a while now, and has dropped four mixtapes, Victory Lap is his first studio album. The project, which dropped February 16th, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200.

In a recent interview with Billboard, Nipsey explained why his highly anticipated joint album with YG still hasn’t seen the light of day five years after the two announced plans to release a project together.

“The idea is definitely not dead. Life happens,” Nipsey said. “He got a solo career and I got a solo career. He got a kid and I got kids. That’s something the West wants, and we’re gonna do it, and we’re gonna call it ‘America’s Most Wanted.'”

Arrest Warrant Issued for LHHATL’s Tommie Lee for Allegedly Beating Up Atlanta Mall Employee

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Tommie Lee is a wanted woman … AGAIN.

TMZ reports that police have issued a warrant for Tommie’s arrest in connection with a recent battery case in Atlanta. Tommie is accused of attacking an employee at a jewelry store in ATL’s Lenox Square mall.

According to the police report, Tommie and an unknown male walked into the Henry Bendel jewelry store on February 1st and got into an argument with an employee named Daniella. The argument escalated and Tommie allegedly went behind the employee counter and slapped and punched Daniella repeatedly.

After the store’s manager broke up the fight between the two women, Tommie and her male companion fled the scene before cops arrived, however, the incident was captured on camera and authorities opened an investigation into the incident.

Daniella told police she suffered bruising on the left side of her face and wanted to press charges against Tommie. According to TMZ, Danielle also obtained a lawyer and planned to sue the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star.

The store’s manager said Tommie and her friend have been to the store before and had tried to steal items in the past. During her Feb. 1st visit, Tommie was reportedly rude while shopping, and the physical altercation was sparked after Danielle confronted her about her attitude.

Dealing with the law isn’t new territory for Tommie, who has an extensive arrest record that includes over 30 mugshots since 2003. She most recently added to her mugshot collection in 2016 after she turned herself into authorities for allegedly making “terroristic threats” against her LHHATL co-star Joseline Hernandez.

We knew it was coming, we just didn’t know when. Kim Kardashian has finally posted the first photo of her and Kanye West’s newborn daughter Chicago on her social media pages.

A little over a month after Chicago came into the world, proud mama Kim is giving the world a close-up look at her and Kanye’s third child, who was born via surrogate on January 16th.

Kim—who is currently on vacation in Tokyo with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney—shared the adorable photo of her holding Baby Chicago on Instagram, Twitter AND Facebook Monday (Feb. 26).

While this isn’t our first look at Chicago, it is the first time we’ve gotten a good look at the month-and-a-half-old baby.

Our first glimpse of Chicago was when Auntie Kylie quickly showed the newborn in a behind-the-scenes video she released after Stormi’s birth announcement. Stormi is Kylie’s daughter with rapper Travis Scott, who was born on Feb. 1st, just a couple of weeks after her cousin Chicago.

Chicago and Stormi aren’t the only Kardashian Kids being brought into the world in 2018. Khloe is currently pregnant with her baby with Tristan Thompson. Though the couple has yet to reveal their little one’s sex (and probably won’t until the baby makes its arrival), new reports suggest Khloe and Tristan are having a boy.

One thing we do know, based on all of the Kardashian Babies that have been born over the years (starting with Mason, who is now 8 years old), we know Khloe and Tristan’s baby is going to be a cutie pie!

Keiauna Davis: Fast Facts About 27-Year-Old Mother of 2 Shot & Killed for Her Tax Money

27-year-old mother of two Keiauna Lynnette Davis lost her life last week after she was robbed and shot to death in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania (near Pittsburgh) over tax money she had just received.

Here are some things to know about Keiauna Davis’ murder:

1Keiauna Davis was allegedly set up by one of her co-workers.

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Keiauna Davis’ tax refund of $3,000 was deposited into her bank account early on Thursday (Feb. 22).

Later in the day, her grandmother brought the money to her job at Dollar General while she was on her lunch break. One of Davis’ co-workers, 21-year-old Laya Whitley, found out about the money she had just received and conspired with two men to rob Davis.

Court documents showed that Whitley texted a 21-year-old man named Dane Taylor and told him about the money Davis had on her person.

In the text messages, Whitley allegedly texted Taylor, “This girl at my job brought 7 bands to work ain’t that some sh*t.”

Taylor texted back, “It’s a go delete all dez text,” hours before the robbery occurred.

2Davis was walking home when she was shot to death.

The crime scene after Keiauna Davis was murdered.

Dane Taylor and another man named Kaijin Scott, 23, appeared at Keiauna’s job and waited in the Dollar General parking lot for her shift to end.

After Davis clocked out, the two men followed her in a vehicle as she walked home around 2:50 p.m. The men followed Davis for a short time before Taylor got out of the car wearing a mask and pulled a gun out on Davis. A fight ensued between Davis and Taylor, which led to Taylor shooting Davis in in the hip.

According to court documents, Taylor grabbed Davis’ purse after shooting her and took an envelope full of cash out of her purse. Taylor then threw the purse out the car window and, along with Scott, fled the scene.

Davis was taken to UPMC Presbyterian after the shooting, where she was pronounced dead. Her mother, Sheila Detwiler, was at work when she received several phone calls and messages from family and friends informing her it was an emergency.

“It wasn’t real. I couldn’t reconcile it in my mind. I couldn’t believe it. I still can,” Ms. Detwiler told the Post-Gazette

3Davis had two daughters and had recently planned on moving to North Carolina.

According to Davis’ mother, Davis had planned on using the tax money to move her and her two daughters, 6-year-old Azaylah and 2-year-old Aliviyah, to North Carolina, so that they could be closer to Ms. Detwiler.

Before the incident occurred, Davis’ mother says she was coming to Pittsburgh on Saturday to help her daughter move.

“I can’t believe someone places so little value on someone else’s life for $3,000,” Ms. Detwiler mother told the Post-Gazette.

Detwiler said she had found a 5 bedroom house for her, her daughter and granddaughters in the Charlotte area and Keiauna agreed to make the move.

4Keiauna’s mother believes her daughter put up a fight before her life was taken.

“She was a strong young woman. She was tough, she was feisty. She fought for that money, I know she did,” Ms. Detwiler told the news.

Ms. Detwiler also said she doesn’t believe that the people who robbed her daughter intended to kill her, but she doesn’t understand why someone would shoot her daughter, who she described as “petite.”

“They will answer for this,” Ms. Detwiler said. “I want them to know that their lives are over.”

Ms. Detwiler says she now is focused on raising her two granddaughters, who she has to find the words to explain what happened to their mother.

5The three shooting suspects—Laya Whitley, Dane Taylor and Kaijin Scott—are facing serious jail time.

Laya Whitley (Davis’ co-worker), Dane Taylor, and Kaijin Scott have all been charged with criminal homicide, robbery and conspiracy.

Taylor has also been charged with carrying a firearm without a license.

The three were placed in Allegheny County Jail and are scheduled for a preliminary hearing on March 9th.

6A fundraiser was created on Facebook to help pay for Keiauna Davis funeral expenses.

A post from Davis’ family on Facebook reads as follows:

“On February 22, 2018, 27 year old Keiauna Davis was violently taken from us by a senseless act of pure greed. Keiauna worked two jobs to support her beautiful baby girls, as many young single mothers are having to do. The monsters that took her life gave no thought to the future of her babies, only their own selfish desires. They robbed her of her hard earned money, then took her life. As you can imagine, the family was hit hard by her sudden death and were left totally unprepared for making funeral arrangements. We are asking you to search your heart for the willingness to help this family in any way you can as they prepare to lay their loved one to rest. May God bless you and keep you. Thank you in advance.”

So far, within three days, more than $11,000 has been raised to help with funeral expenses, already exceeding the original goal of $10,000.

7Davis’ mother says her daughter was “special” and the two had recently celebrated together at Club One in Charlotte.

“She was special to me,” Ms. Detwiler said. “She was special to everyone who knew her.”

Ms. Detwiler said her daughter was a huge fan of the TV show “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and for her birthday which was just weeks before the shooting, she took her daughter to Club One, which is owned by RHOA star Cynthia Bailey’s ex-husband Peter Thomas.

“She had an awesome time,” Ms. Detwiler said. “She was happy and dancing.”

Instagram Star Victoria “Woah Vicky” Waldrip Arrested for Allegedly Assaulting Police Officer

Instagram star “Woah Vicky” (real name: Victoria Waldrip) and her boyfriend Virgin.Child were arrested this past weekend at a mall in Greensboro, N.C.

Here are some things to know about their arrests:

1Victoria “Woah Vicky” Waldrip allegedly assaulted a police officer.

According to TheBlast.com, Vicky was arrested at Greensboro, North Carolina’s Four Seasons Town Centre on Saturday for resisting arrest and allegedly kicking a police officer.

A spokesperson for the arresting agency told TheBlast.com she was busted by cops for “trespassing after giving her multiple opportunities to leave as instructed by Mall Security and Police.” She was booked into Guilford jail and was released hours later.

Vicky is facing two misdemeanor charges—assault on a government official and first-degree trespassing—and if convicted, she could face up to 150 days in jail as well as potential fines. Her 18th birthday is coming up on March 7th, which could change how she’s prosecuted.

Ironically, just last week, Vicky posed on her social media pages wearing an orange jumpsuit pretending like she had recently been sprung from jail.

2Vicky’s boyfriend, Instagram star Virgin.Child, was also arrested.

According to Virgin.Child’s sister @Nikki_kitty, Vicky’s boyfriend got into an argument with the police over Vicky’s arrest. He was then arrested as well, and suffered a broken nose and a concussion from his arrest.

After being released from jail, he was taken to the hospital and received treatment for his injuries. He later posted a picture of his nose bleeding on Instagram. He wrote in the caption:

6Police were informed about an active shooter but never found anything confirming this.

According to WGHP-TV, Authorities claimed to have broken up several fights involving teenagers at Four Seasons Town Centre shopping mall.

Greensboro police were also called over an active shooter, but they never found any evidence that gunshots were fired.

Police told The Blast that during Vicky’s arrest, her friend and other teens started shouting and causing chaos that escalated to someone screaming, “Shots fired!”

Police said in a statement to the website, “Subsequently several other juveniles inside the mall began running around and screaming. As all that was transpiring an unidentified individual shouted something about shots being fired and panic ensued throughout the mall. GPD received multiples calls of shots fired and/or an active shooter in the mall.”

I’m a big, big fan of ratchet music. I love it, I live for it, it gives me absolute life. As soon as I hear a trap song, can’t nobody tell me I’m not selling bricks out the bando and that I won’t pull out the chopper and spray the block up (knowing damn well that if I hear a balloon pop at a little kid’s birthday party, I’m gonna be the first one running with my scary ass). But that’s okay because I know I’m still a G in my own mind, and I will pull up with the stick whenever I’m on call (FYI: I’m talking about a literal stick, like the ones that be on the ground, not the ones that require actual bullets).

Well, anywho, it was probably a year ago that I first came across this new rapper named NBA YoungBoy. And at first, I was confused because I thought he was a professional basketball player who thought it was okay for him to force his wack ass music on us when we already barely care about half these ninjas basketball careers. Especially after Kobe and Shaq’s horrible attempts at music, I WAS NOT HAVING IT. Not even in the least bit. Throw the whole basketball player away, put the engineer who recorded the music on trial, and sentence him to life with no parole, and fine his baby mama and his homeboys for not telling him his music is trash. I’m so tired of these NBA players thinking they can rap and have the audacity to charge us for these garbage juice tunes. Issa no for me dawg.

Well, turns out I was completely wrong and the dude is actually a real-life rapper from Louisiana and has no ties to the NBA whatsoever. So I took some time out to listen to a few tracks from ole boy, and I actually liked what I heard. Yeah, he sounds a little angry and two crack rocks from a fed charge, but I was really feeling bruh. I even looked forward to him coming to my hometown two weeks from now, and I was ready to purchase my tickets.

Fast forward to now, I go on TMZ and I see that this fool was arrested on felony kidnapping charges and has other charges in Georgia over the weekend for committing assault and weapons violations. And to top it all off, Mr. NBA YoungBoy is only 18 years old. But you know what I don’t blame NBA Young Boy, I blame the people around him. I blame the label. I blame the big homies who supposed to put some knowledge in that big ole head of his and make him realize that you can’t make any money if you doing all the things you rap about. It’s called hustling backwards. JAY-Z talks about selling drugs, weapons, and the streets in general, but do you think he out here doing any of that? Hell to the naw, to the naw naw naw.

Law enforcement sources tell us cops came in contact with YoungBoy on his tour bus — we don’t know why — and when they ran the rapper’s record and discovered he was a fugitive from Georgia for allegedly committing assault, weapons violations and kidnapping.

The 18-year-old rapper has had lots of legal trouble … he wrecked a Lambo, among other things. He was also arrested for a case connected to a series of shootings in Baton Rouge, LA back in 2016. He was also accused of firing a weapon during a drive-by shooting.

He’s scheduled to appear in court Monday.

And to make matters even worse, there was footage just released of NBA Young Boy beating his girlfriend up in the lobby of a hotel. Timothy Cunningham: Fast Facts About CDC Employee Who Went Missing After Leaving Work Sick

35-year-old Timothy Cunningham, a recently promoted commander with the U.S. Public Health Service, has made national headlines since disappearing nearly two weeks ago after he left work early due to being sick.

Here are some things to know about Timothy and his mysterious disappearance:

1Timothy Cunningham left work Feb. 12 because he wasn’t feeling well and hasn’t been seen since.

According to various reports, Cunningham left work in Atlanta early on February 12th after falling ill and hasn’t been heard from since. His family, who says they talk to him on a regular basis, became worried after they tried to get in contact with him and he didn’t respond to any of their phone calls and text messages.

Cunningham’s parents then traveled from Waldorf, Maryland to Atlanta to check in with their son. They arrived at his home on Valentine’s Day and entered the home using a spare key. Cunningham was not at the home, but his family found his wallet, credit cards cellphone, car keys, and driver’s license left behind. Cunningham’s dog, Mr. Bojangles, was also in the home left unattended, and his car was parked in the garage.

Another strange thing they noticed was that two of the windows in his home were left open, which alarmed them because it was very out of character. Timothy was very environmentally conscious and wouldn’t have normally left those windows open, they believed.

“It’s not the type of news you want to hear. Your child is missing. Thirty-five years old, but always your child. This is not normal. This is definitely out of the ordinary,” his father Terrell Cunningham told the media.

2Cunningham was recently promoted at his job.

In July 2017, Timothy Cunningham was promoted to commander in the United States Public Health Service. Last year, Cunningham earned a spot in Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 40 Under 40 Awards.

To add to his long list of achievements, Cunningham earned the Outstanding Atlanta award in 2014 in recognition of his “service, leadership and achievements of Atlanta young professionals.”

3Timothy’s father talked to him the day before his disappearance and his sister was the last person to have contact with him.

“Tim had been in communication with us extensively on Sunday [Feb. 11], and I pinpoint Sunday because there were some exchanges via phone as well as text that alerted me to be concerned about our son,” his father Terrell Cunningham told NBC News.

“My first mind is that something has happened especially considering the length of time he’s been gone. Not having his phone, leaving his dog, Beau, alone, he just wouldn’t voluntarily check out like that,” he added.

Timothy’s sister Tiara Cunningham was the last person to speak with him and she said he didn’t sound like his usual self during their last conversation.

“He sounded not like himself,” she said of the conversation, which she says ended with them both saying, “Love you. I’ll talk to you later.”

4Timothy Cunningham is a Harvard grad.

On the CDC’s official website, cdc.gov, Cunningham’s bio says he is an active member of the American Public Health Association and the American College of Epidemiology. He received his S.M. and Sc.D. from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

He was also deployed for numerous public health emergencies, including Superstorm Sandy, as well as incidents related to the Ebola and Zika viruses.

5Cunningham’s family was also involved in medical care.

According to The Washington Post, Timothy’s father was an Air Force nurse for 30 years, and his mother worked for the state health department as a program manager.

Cunningham had followed in his family’s footsteps and made his career focused on studying disease patterns.

6His friends describe him as a positive and happy person.

Cunningham’s close friend from college, David Calloway, told NBC News, “[Timothy] has this pristine service record and background, and then he’s also the guy you can call to help you move furniture or get together with you at a restaurant at the end of a long day.”

Another one of Cunningham’s friends said just less than a week before his disappearance they had both bought tickets to attend a gala that celebrated the anniversary of the founding of Morehouse.

“Our last communication the week prior was about hanging out before and going down to the VIP reception and enjoying ourselves,” Jose Carlos told NBC News. “I can speak for myself and so many classmates that this is very, very shocking.”

The CDC also released a statement calling Cunningham a “highly respected member of our CDC family,” ABC News reported.

7Timothy’s family is offering a $20,000 reward for anyone who has any information on his whereabouts.

The police have found no evidence of foul play in connection with Cunningham going missing, but his family has partnered with Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta to offer a cash reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment in connection with the incident. The amount was initially set at $10K, but has now risen to more than $20K, according to a GoFundMe campaign started by Cunningham’s friends and family.

“As of today we have been unable to locate Mr. Cunningham and we are seeking the assistance of the public with this case,” Officer Donald T. Hannah of the Atlanta Police Department said in an email on Saturday.

Tamar Braxton & Vince Herbert Open Up About Divorce & Rumors on ‘The View’: “Divorce Was the Only Option” (VIDEO)

Tamar Braxton sharpened her talk show hosting skills on The View. But instead of talking politics and pop culture, she became the hot topic and attempted to clear up the rumors regarding her divorce with her estranged husband by her side.

Tamar served as a guest co-host of The View on Friday (Feb. 23) and, right out of the gate, she shot down rumors that her split and pending divorce from Vincent Herbert was for a storyline for her reality shows, Tamar & Vince and Braxton Family Values.

“I wish I could say that a lot of times it’s made up, just so I can hide behind the truth. But in this situation, I absolutely have no reason to lie about my marriage or the things that are happening in my marriage for ratings. I think that’s disgusting and I would never sell my soul to the devil like that… I have a regular marriage, and in regular marriages, like everybody else, things happen.

“In my marriage, it was just to a point where I felt like divorce was the only option that I had left… I definitely filed for divorce — that’s not a lie.”

After nine years of marriage, Tamar filed for divorce in October. The split has been very tumultuous with Tamar’s mother, Evelyn Braxton, claiming Vince was physically abusive, and Tamar stating in a December Instagram rant that Vince had gotten another woman pregnant.

Even so, Tamar and Vince have been seen together in public on several occasions, including during Tamar’s View appearance. Initially sitting in the audience, he was invited to the table to address the allegations that have been charged against him.

“Absolutely not!” Vince said regarding getting another woman pregnant. He continued to address the “other allegations,” presumably the assertion that he’s been physically abusive towards Tamar.

“All of the other allegations are just not true. I love this lady with all my heart, I love my family with all my heart and I will never stop fighting for my family and trying to make it be great.”

Though she is the one who purported Vince got another woman pregnant, Tamar told the View hosts that she now believes Vince. “At this point, I believe that he doesn’t have anything to lie about,” she said. “I’m already gone, I’m already divorced.”

She explained listening to what her “so-called friends were saying” is what sparked her viral Instagram rant.

“And let me just address the meltdown that I had on Instagram. That was my fault that I put myself in a position where I opened up the floor for people to give their opinions on my marriage, and I have to take responsibility for that…. I should have been specific enough to say ‘this is what so-called friends were saying.’”

The estranged couple says they are both committed to being good parents to their 4-year-old son, Logan, and their business relationship continues to be strong. However, Tamar is not looking for a romantic reconciliation just yet. “It’s OK not to know [if that’s possible],” she said.

“Vince and I have been through a lot, and the reason that I filed for divorce was not because of those rumors. I filed for divorce because we work together, he’s my baby father, we’re together each and every single day, we’re attached at the hip and it just got to be too much. We just couldn’t figure out how to figure it out.”

Meanwhile, Vince eagerly shouted “absolutely” when responding to the question of reconciliation.

While I don’t think Tamar and Vince have been stringing us along for the sake of a storyline, it’s quite possible we’re witnessing another NeNe and Gregg Leakes situation—where the reality couple actually splits, but find their way back to each other at some point.

In celebration of the release of his debut album 2.23, Blac Youngsta hosted a private listening session earlier this week, and of course the party featured a bunch of twerking strippers and $5,000 worth of money showers. Youngsta threw money the whole time the album was playing, and by the last song, there were 5,000 ones all over the place.

Before playing songs from 2.23, including its breakout single “Booty,” Blac Youngsta—dressed in Baby Gap from head-to-toe—explained its origins and how he came up with the project’s name. According to the Memphis rapper, back in his “street days,” it took him exactly 223 days to earn his first million dollars. It’s also no coincidence that the album dropped today, which is February 23rd (aka 2/23). And just in case you didn’t know, .223 is also a type of ammunition for assault rifles.

The listening party for Youngsta’s new album was held Tuesday night (Feb. 20) in Atlanta at Mean Street Studios, which is owned by DJ Drama and Cannon, who both were present and accounted for at the bash.

Whoopi Goldberg & Mo’Nique Clash on ‘The View’ Over Blackball Claims: “If You Had Called Me, I Could’ve Schooled You On What Was Expected” (VIDEO)

There was a spat on The View yesterday (as there always is), but not between the hosts. Whoopi Goldberg and guest Mo’Nique clashed as the actress once again tried to explain why she feels Lee Daniels, Tyler Perry and Oprah blackballed her career.

Mo’Nique appeared on The View Thursday (Feb. 22) to discuss her latest Hollywood grievance: her call to boycott Netflix after being given a low-ball offer for a stand-up comedy special. However, the conversation took a turn when Mo’Nique’s reputation of being difficult to work with was brought up.

The comedian/actress says this characterization is false and was engineered by Daniels, Perry, and Oprah when she refused to internationally promote the acclaimed film, Precious, without compensation. Mo’Nique attempted to compare the way she was being treated to the #MeToo movement of women being sexually harassed and pressured in Hollywood.

“This is what happens—in my humble opinion—when you don’t go to the hotel room…” Mo’Nique began before quickly being interrupted by Whoopi, a fellow comedian and Oscar winner.

“I’m going to stop you because contractually, when you make a movie, regardless of who you sign the deal with, your job is to go and promote said movie. And we’ve had this conversation, and I said if you had called me, I could’ve schooled you on what was expected.”

Mo’Nique refused to back down and maintained that she did do what was expected of her.

“And what I said to you, my sweet sister, I said, ‘At what point do we stop saying ‘the next time?” If I had done something wrong contractually, they would have sued me. The reason why no one could do anything to me contractually because they found out I did nothing wrong contractually.”

Before cutting to the show’s final break, Mo’Nique continued to claim she was bullied by the Daniels/Perry/Oprah trifecta and that her career has suffered because of it.

“What Tyler Perry showed me, Lee Daniels, Oprah Winfrey and [“Precious” studio] Lionsgate is that, ‘When you don’t do what we ask you to do, we will take your livelihood.’

“So for eight years my family has suffered and my career has suffered because I would not allow those entities to bully me. And because I did not allow the bullying to happen, this is what I sit in.”

Tiffany Haddish Announced As First Black Woman to Host MTV Movie & TV Awards

MTV Awards shows have been a hit or miss in recent years, but the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards will be a must-see for one reason only: Tiffany Haddish!

It wan announced today (Feb. 22) the breakout comedian/actress will host this year’s ceremony, becoming the first black woman to do so. Haddish shared the exciting news in an Instagram video. She said:

“I’m gonna be hosting the MTV Movie and TV Awards… It’s gonna be off the chain, and you know why? I’m hosting! And you know what that means—it’s gonna be hilarious.”

Haddish became a breakout star last year after starring in the hit comedy, Girls Trip, and now the sky is the limit for the 38-year-old.

In addition to the MTV hosting gig, she will star alongside Tracy Morgan in the upcoming TBS sitcom, The Last OG, with Kevin Hart in the comedy film, Night School, and with Melissa McCarthy in the comic book film, The Kitchen. Netflix also recently announced an animated series starring Haddish.

Haddish is also a trending topic today after her reaction to meeting/reuniting with Oprah on The Ellen DeGeneres Show went viral. Haddish cried as Oprah praised her accomplishments. The comedian even pitched her joint farmers’ market idea to Oprah called “Tiff & O’s” because the two have vegetable gardens.
