Raven-Symoné Finally Admits to Being Gay on Oprah’s “Where Are They Now?”

Raven-Symoné has officially come out of the closet.

The 28 year-old actress finally opened up about being gay in an exclusive interview on Oprah’s “Where Are They Now?” show.

In the interview, Raven revealed that she’s in a happy relationship with her partner — who is a woman, obviously — and she also makes it clear that though she is “proud to be who I am and what I am” she doesn’t want to be labeled neither “gay” or “African-American.”

Raven also admitted to being attracted to girls and boys since the age of 12.

I’m in an amazing relationship with my partner — a woman — and on the other side, my mother, and people in my family have taught me to keep my personal life to myself as much as possible so I try my best to hold the fence where I can. But I am proud to be who I am and what I am.

In that topic of dating and love, I knew when I was 12. I was looking at everything (boys and girls). I don’t need language, I don’t need a categorized statement for it. I don’t want to be labeled ‘gay’. I want to be labeled a human who loves humans.

I’m tired of being labeled. I’m an American! I’m not an African-American. I’m an American.

I have lots of things running through my veins. I don’t label myself. What I mean by that is I’m An American. I have darker skin. I have a nice interesting grade of hair. I connect with Caucasian, I connect with Asian, I connect with Black, I connect with Indian. I connect with each culture. Aren’t we all [a melting pot in one body]? Isn’t that what America is suppose to be? That’s what it’s suppose to be. I personally feel that way.

Mugshot Madness: “Swae Lee” from Rae Sremmurd Arrested for Driving with a Suspended License

Rae Sremmurd‘s next song should be called “No DRIVE Zone” … because Swae Lee — a member of the rap duo that was discovered by producer Mike WiLL Made It and is signed to his “Ear Drummers” label, from which their name comes from (FYI: “Rae Sreummurd” is “Ear Drummers” spelled backwards. How cool?) — was arrested Sunday night for driving with a suspended license.

The 19-year-old rapper, whose real name is Kaleef Brown, was reportedly pulled over by Miami Beach Police last Sunday (Oct 5) and charged with knowingly driving with a suspended license. His bail was set at $1,000.

No word on when he was released, but we’re pretty sure he’s out by now with a measly $1K bail. That’s strip club money.

The group (who are brothers, btw) has gained an enormous following ever since releasing their “No Flex Zone“ hit, which has received endorsements from Nicki Minaj and several other celebrities.

Bobby Shmurda Arrested For Smoking Weed With Friends, Says Cops Are “Out To Get Him”

Bobby Shmurda just can’t stay out of jail to save his life, SMH!

The “Hot N*gga” rapper and Shmoney dance originator was recently arrested after cops caught him and his buddies smoking weed while double parked on a street in Brooklyn.

According to TMZ, sources close to the rapper claim this has nothing to do with race, and he believes that the police are “out to get him” because he’s a “big music star.”

Shortly after being released from jail, Bobby posted a video on Instagram (which he later deleted) firing back saying that the “bum ass cops” can’t stop him.

Just back in June, Shmurda was arrested and charged with felony gun possession after cops spotted him showing off a 9mm glock. He could face up to 15 years prison time.

This guy has no clue how to keep things under the radar. Whatever happened to rappers being street smart?

Stripper Jhonni Blaze Claims Drake Has Her Fearing for Life After Sexual Encounter

We all know Drake loves him some big booty strippers, and now he could be in some serious trouble because of one in particular.

In the past, Drizzy has been romantically linked to strippers like Maliah Michel, who was also the lead girl in his “Find Your Love” video.

So it comes as no surprise that a popular Houston stripper, who goes by the name Jhonni Blaze, is making accusations that Drizzy and his camp sent her threatening text messages and came to her house after they had sex one time … because he was afraid she was going to go public about their encounter.

According to TMZ:

Jhonni Blaze told cops she and Drake had sex one time and he believed she was going to talk publicly about it.

Blaze says that’s when Drake began “angrily” texting her. She says several people from Drake’s camp then came to her house, banged on her door and threatened her life.

Blaze went to cops but says she’s not sure if she wants to follow through and press charges.

Cops say they want to talk to the “celebrity.”

Sources close to Drake tell us the allegations are absolutely not true.

This sounds exactly like something that would only happen to Drake.

But our question is … what was his reasoning behind threatening her for going public about them having sex? Drake is a rapper. Jhonni Blaze is a stripper.

No one would be “shocked” or “surprised” about a stripper going public about having sex with a rapper … unless said rapper has a weird sexual fetish he doesn’t want people to know about.

Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo have called it quits, making the former couple the newest residents of Splitsville, USA.

Sources tell E! News that the couple decided to end their relationship after dating for nearly three years.

“The breakup was mutual, but they still care very deeply for each other and will remain in each other lives as friends,” a source told the entertainment site.

Another source told Us Weekly that their busy schedules made it hard for them to be together.

“They are both upset. It just wasn’t working out. It was a lot of travel and hard to work with their schedules,” the insider revealed.

Just back in August, Sparks and Derulo were spotted at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, smiling ear to ear and wearing matching all white outfits.

Tyler Perry Expecting First Child with Longtime Girlfriend Gelila Bekele

Tyler Perry will be in the business of changing diapers and carrying out other fatherly duties VERY soon … because People Magazine is reporting that the award-winning actor/producer and his longtime girlfriend Gelila Bekele are expecting their first child together.

Bossip broke the news first a few days ago, reporting that Perry had made the big announcement during his 45th birthday bash in Georgia this past weekend.

According to E! News reporter Marc Malkin, Mr. Perry didn’t exactly “announce” that he and his girlfriend were having a baby, but he did “allude” to it during a speech at the party:

“He said he had to start getting used to not getting a lot of sleep, because his life was about to change in a big way,” a guest at the bash tells me. “He said, ‘Some of you know what I’m talking about.'”

The guest said Bekele is about “seven or eight months pregnant.”

A friend of the couple reportedly shared the news on social media, but the post was quickly deleted.

Another pal posted of pic on Instagram of himself with Bekele about a month ago, identifying her as a “new good friend” who was seven months pregnant with a “baby boy.” Yup, that post has been deleted, too.

Of course Perry is declining to comment on the pregnancy rumors, so we’ll just have to wait until the baby pops out in a couple months to hear something (if anything).

Meanwhile, sources close to the couple tell People that they are both extremely excited about being parents and are already preparing for the new baby.

“Tyler is thrilled. He and Gelila are so excited,” one source said. “They’ve got the nursery ready and he’s ready to change diapers.”

A second source added, “He will make a wonderful father. You will never find a more loving, patient, honorable or decent man than Tyler Perry. Any child would be blessed to have him as a father.”

Ironically, in an interview in 2013 with Steve Harvey, Perry predicted he would have a child by the age of 45, and, well … looks like he was right!

Amber Rose Says Wiz Khalifa is a Cheater; Nick Cannon Denies Causing Divorce

Amber Rose wants everyone to know that her soon-to-be ex husband Wiz Khalifa is a “serial cheater,” and that’s why she’s divorcing him. And Nick Cannon wants us all to know he had absolutely nothing to do with their divorce.

As we previously reported, Amber signed divorce papers Wednesday after a year of marriage and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the break-up, while also seeking full custody of their 1-year-old son Sebastian.

Sources close to the couple tell TMZ Amber believes Wiz has been cheating on her for months now:

Since the beginning of Wiz’s tour in July she strongly suspected he was stepping out.

Amber’s telling friends … she wanted to join Wiz on the tour but he came up with a panoply of excuses, the most frequent of which … she should stay home with their 1-year-old.

She also says he tried to show dominance by telling her he’s the bread winner and he needed to be left alone to make money and she needed to stay home.

Wiz, on the other hand, is reportedly telling friends that Amber stepped out on him with her new manager Nick Cannon.

But sources close to Nick are claiming that the “America’s Got Talent” host has kept things strictly business with Rose and only learned about Amber’s divorce through her lawyers last week.

Sources close to Nick tell TMZ … Nick and Amber — who just recently got into business together — have kept things strictly professional. Nick insists … NOTHING happened in the cheating department.

Nick claims he only learned about Amber’s domestic problems through her lawyers last week when he signed her on as a client. That’s when Nick says he found out her marriage was on the rocks and only then did the two share break-up stories.

Honestly, we believe that Nick is innocent. Wiz stays on the road and has to deal with groupies throwing themselves at him all the time. There’s no doubt in our mind that he has been creeping around. What rapper really doesn’t?

Chris Brown Shows Off Impressive Basketball Skills at Power 106 All-Star Charity Game

If Chris Brown ever decides to hang up the mic and quit making music, he could possibly have a career in sports.

This past weekend, the 25-year-old R&B crooner played in Power 106’s All-Star Celebrity Basketball Game in L.A. and showed off some pretty impressive skills.

Chris didn’t show any mercy on the court, pulling out nasty crossovers like the “Shammgod,” three-pointers, the “Euro-step” and more. He ended up scoring more than 25 points in the game.

In addition to balling out of control, Breezy also entertained the crowd doing the Shmoney dance and the Nae Nae.

Amber Rose Has Filed for Divorce from Wiz Khalifa

Well this is pretty shocking … and we can honestly say we didn’t see this one coming.

Since they started dating in 2011, Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose have appeared to be a match made in heaven (with of that tongue-licking and groping on red carpets and wherever else).

The couple had a son at the beginning of 2013 and tied the knot in July of the same year. Just last month, Amber even shared photos from the wedding on Instagram in celebration of the couple’s first anniversary.

But now it’s apparent that things between Wiz and Amber weren’t as great as they seemed.

TMZ is reporting that Amber filed for divorce on Monday and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the break-up and she’s seeking “full legal and physical custody” of their son Sebastian, who will be 2 years old in February. “She’s willing to give Wiz visitation,” TMZ reports.

And this is interesting. Amber acknowledges there’s a prenup, which you would think would work in Wiz’ favor, but she says it’s valid … presumably, she’s not challenging it. The docs say the prenup provides spousal support.

As for why they split, there’s been a buzz over the last few days of infidelity, but there’s no mention of it in the papers.

Sources connected with the couple say the split is bitter.

There’s also rumors that Amber has been hooking up with her new manager Nick Cannon, who’s also in the middle of a divorce battle with his wife Mariah Carey.

What the hell is going on? And above all, what the hell is she going to do about that big a$$ tattoo of Wiz Khalifa’s face she has on her arm?

Michael Brown Memorial Burned to the Ground

Just when you thought the Michael Brown tragedy couldn’t get any worse or any more heartbreaking comes news that a memorial for the unarmed black teen who was gunned down by police officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri has been burned to the ground. And not even a month after cops reportedly drove over another memorial and let a police dog urinate on it.

A video posted to YouTube shows an area below a post (where memorials are typically constructed) engulfed in flames as a crowd stands around in shock.

“They burned down Mike Brown’s memorial… this shit [is] getting crazy. What the fuck?” one distraught woman can be heard behind the camera, while another man in the background yells, “That’s fucked up, cuz!”

“Who would do some shit like that?” the distraught woman asks.

And that’s the big question here: WHO WOULD DO SOME SHIT LIKE THAT?

Brown’s own cousin Sabrina Webb says she believes it was someone trying to instigate an already intense situation that has been going on for well over a month now.

“I think it may have been somebody trying to push our buttons, seeing what we are going to do next … we’ve been slowly protesting every night. They think it’s died down, but it never died down. It just started to become very peaceful,” Webb told local St. Louis news station KMOV.

Meanwhile, police believe candles were the cause of the fire that destroyed the memorial Tuesday morning. But since these are the same people who drove over another memorial for Brown, and also let a police dog pee on it, we shouldn’t really take their theories into consideration.

According to NBC News, the Ferguson Fire Dept. was called at around 6:45 a.m. Central Time to Canfield Drive in the St. Louis suburb, an area close to where Brown was killed on August 9th. Firefighters reportedly used portable water extinguishers to put the flames out.

Supporters have since put up a new memorial for Mike Brown in place of the one that was burned down.

A recent MSNBC poll reveals that out of 33,000 votes, only 17% believe Michael Brown’s shooter Darren Wilson should be arrested. 5% say “Maybe,” and a whopping 78% believe he shouldn’t be arrested at all.

Soulja Boy has a new show to promote — VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood,” for those who don’t know — so it’s no surprise that the “Crank Dat” rapper has found himself in the middle of a brand new Twitter war with none other than former “Love & Hip Hop” star K. Michelle.

In a recent interview with Power 105’s The Breakfast Club, K. Michelle discussed a number of topics, including her beef with her former bestie Elle Varner (who she now refers to as “curly head”) her Twitter beef with Lil Kim over K’s Nicki Minaj comment, and she also took a brief moment to clarify something that may have been implied by Soulja Boy in a recent interview of his.

“I watched an interview and it was Soulja Boy and they were asking all the men of Love & Hip Hop L.A. who would they bang, they said me. OK, great,” the R&B songstress explained. “But Soulja Boy implies that he slept with me.”

K. Michelle told Breakfast Club hosts Charlamagne, DJ Envy and Angela Yee when asked straight up if he had sex with her, Soulja boy responded with “Nah, I ain’t say that,” but she says that he was giggling under his breath, making it seem otherwise, to which she said: “You can giggle on these nuts.”

She went on, “Let me tell you something Soulja Boy, cause I know you’re gonna hear this. What you’re not gonna do is lie on my hot pocket. When I do something, I say I did it and that’s what it is. So that giggling… We don’t wanna giggle about that transgender in Atlanta. Giggle, giggle, now crank that. You don’t play when it comes to me and my hot pocket. After catching wind of K. Michelle’s Breakfast Club interview, Soulja Boy took to Twitter and blasted K for having a pussy that “smell like shit.”

And from there it was an all-out Twitter brawl and neither one of them pulled any punches, with Soulja re-iterating his opinion on the smell of K’s vagina, and her putting him on blast for allegedly sleeping with transgenders in Atlanta.

Young Thug Talks Gay Rumors & Calling Other Men “Bae,” “Hubby” and “Lover”

Bossip got a chance to catch up with ATL rap weirdo Young Thug this past weekend at the 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards, and during a quick red carpet interview, Thug was questioned about everything from calling his homies “hubby,” “bae,” and “lover” to whether-or-not he has beef with fellow rap newcomer Kevin Gates.

Thug’s answers to the questions really don’t reveal much and just further proved that this guy has no care in the world. Either that or he does a lot of drugs and has lost a lot of brain cells in the process. The guy doesn’t even believe artists should speak out on social issues. SMH!

This is how the “interview” went:

What do you mean when you call your homies your hubby or lover?

“It’s a language. It’s nothing stupid and fruity going on. It’s the way we talk, it’s the way we live. Those are my baes, those are my lovers, my hubbies, whatever you want to call them.”

Is it strategic at all to get people talking about you or be controversial?

“I don’t know a yes or no to that. That’s a hard question.”

Do you have any issues with Kevin Gates and will there be a problem today if you see him?

“That wasn’t against him. I don’t know why everybody thinks that.”

Do you think the media blows things out of proportion on social media?

“No, I don’t think so.”

They’re a doing a special on Mike Brown and the Ferguson situation. What do think needs to be changed in the way black men are policed in America?

“Leave that up with the critics and the laws and all that other sh*t. We having fun, we iced out, we having money. That’s how we doing it.”

So you feel like it’s not the artist’s place to speak on social issues?

“No.”

Chris Brown is working hard to promote his new album X, and earlier this month (Thu. Sep 11) ahead of its release on Tuesday, September 16th, the R&B crooner stopped by “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” and performed the title track from the album, as well as his hit single “Loyal.”

Chris was also backed by the Roots and brought along his dancers.

This is by far one of the most stand-out performances we’ve seen from Breezy in a while!
