ILoveMakonnen Releases “Tuesday” (Remix) Video ft. Drake

ILoveMakonnen is a lucky guy!

With Drake hopping on his “Tuesday” hit and adding the ATL rapper to his OVO team, ILoveMakonnen has the potential to become a household name.

Don’t get us wrong … we don’t think IloveMakonnen has anymore talent that Ice JJ Fish, but the guy has the right people backing him and that alone can take him far.

The “I Don’t Sell Molly No More” rapper recently wrapped up the video for his remix to “Club Goin’ Up On A Tuesday” and Drizzy makes an appearance in the visuals.

Rick Ross Debuts Dramatic 100 Pound Weight Loss

Missy Elliot isn’t the only celebrity to debut their drastic weight loss!

Rapper Rick Ross sent fans into a frenzy when he recently posted pics on Instagram showing off his new slimmed down figure. According to some estimates, Ross has lost AT LEAST 100 pounds!

Back in May, Ross spoke with Tim Westwood about how previous health scares made him change his diet and start working out.

“The most I used to do for exercise was stand up to count the money. Now they give me fruit to eat, I forgot what fruit tasted like. I eat pears now and shit like that. Shout out to all the pear [eaters].”

Ross also revealed that he eats the way he wants to eat (yes, that means lemon pepper wangs!) … but to stay in shape, he does cross fit, which he calls “Ross Fit,” and it appears to be paying off so far.

We see you Rozay!!! Welcome to Skinnyville!

Missy Elliott Shows Off Drastic Weight Loss: See The Photos!

Missy Elliott is looking the best we’ve seen her look in a while.

The rapper/producer performed a medley of hits including “Get Ur Freak On,” “Work It,” and “Lose Control” at Alexander Wang’s H&M Collection launch in New York City last Thursday (Oct 16).

A video posted by wendy lam (@nitro_licious) on

But in addition to rocking the stage, Missy showed off her drastic weight loss … and we must say, she’s looking “Supa Dupa Fly!”

Missy reportedly lost at least 30 pounds and appeared to be very energetic and vibrant during her performance.

She also shared a photo from the night on her Twitter account. Notice how she’s rocking a hat that says, “YOU CAN’T WORKOUT WITH US” (Mean Girls reference).

Missy also revealed how she lost the weight:

In the past, Missy has been very vocal about her battle with Graves Disease, an immune system disorder that results in the overproduction of thyroid hormones. So it’s good to know she’s trying to remain fit as possible.

We’re happy to see Missy looking healthy and doing well. Keep up the good work!

Is Joseline Hernandez Really Pregnant With Stevie J’s Baby?

Earlier this month, word got out that “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” stars Stevie J & Joseline Hernandez were having a baby, but is it too far fetched to believe that this whole thing could be one big publicity stunt to drum up ratings for the show?

In a recent interview with Milwaukee, WI radio station V100.7, Stevie J — while fielding questions regarding the legitimacy of his so-called “marriage” — hinted that Joseline was pregnant, saying that the two of them were “expanding the Jordan family.”

Per VH1.com:

In an interview with V100.7?s Reggie Brown, Stevie dropped the alleged bomb saying his marriage with the Puerto Rican Princess is the real deal and then adding “we got a new addition with the family too, but I don’t wanna say too much, you know what I mean? We’re expanding the Jordan family, if you understand what I mean.”

But before you start congratulating the couple on their “new addition,” read this report from Sandra Rose:

A source close to reality TV stars Joseline “Jose” Hernandez and Stevie J reached out to Sandrarose.com this morning to say Joseline is not pregnant.

The source said Joseline, Stevie J, and Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta producer Mona Scott-Young manufactured the pregnancy hoax to keep the reality stars relevant.

Joseline showed up to ATL Live On the Park event dressed in very unmaternal attire. In one photo, Stevie J and singer Johnny Gill covered Joseline’s abdomen with their hands in the universal sign for pregnancy. But her tummy is as flat as a pancake.

News of Joseline’s (alleged) pregnancy follows reports of the world’s first successful birth following a womb transplant.

Sam Lutfi Says He’s Just “Trying To Help” Amanda Bynes in Open Letter

Sam Lutfi, the man who tormented managed Britney Spears for many moons, recently came under fire after it was revealed that he helped Amanda Bynes’ parents trick her into checking into a psych ward, and now he’s trying to clear his name, saying that he’s not “shady” and he’s just “trying to help” the poor Hollywood starlet.

For the past few years, whenever you’ve heard about a celebrity’s train coming off the tracks, Sam Lutfi’s name has somehow found itself in the mix.

He was Britney Spears’ right-hand man for years (before her father fired him after successfully gaining conservatorship over his business affairs and finances), and many people attribute Lutfi for her downfall.

Lutfi has also tried to wedge himself into the inner circles of socialites such as Lindsay Lohan, Paris Jackson and Courtney Love when they were at their lowest, which has (understandably) given us all the impression that this guy is a “shady” character.

Those close to the celebrities he targets seem to believe Lutfi’s intentions aren’t good, and he’s only looking to take financial advantage of celebs who are struggling mentally.

In an open letter titled “I’m Sam Lutfi, and I’m Trying to Help Amanda Bynes,” published on the blog xoJane, Lutfi himself admits that he’s often described in the media a a “shady” “svengali,” but he says those descriptions about him are “absolutely dead wrong” and you should not “believe everything you read.”

So with that “don’t believe everything you read” thing in mind, take a look at Mr. Lutfi’s full letter here (emphasis ours):

Don’t believe everything you read.

I’ve worked in Hollywood for a long time, and over the years these experiences have led me to see what happens when too much fame and too much money can sometimes get the best of celebrities. I am a problem solver, and I care about helping people get out of what may seem like some of their more difficult places in life. Which is why you have seen me associated with some of the more famous celebrities when they are in their most trying hours: Britney Spears, Courtney Love and now Amanda Bynes.

Also intertwined with all of these women is a lot of media scrutiny and much wrangling over money, control and influence. So it makes sense that my name has been dragged through the mud more times than I can count. People fight dirty in Hollywood. They do what they need to do to come out on top and to claim the seat next to the most powerful.

This has never been my M.O. I am a person who loves a good comeback story. I consider myself somewhat of a comeback, and I am also not afraid to get dirty in the process. If I need to be slandered in order to help other people get better — or to help their reputations get better — I have absolutely no problem with that.

It’s never been about me. It’s been about them.

Courtney asked me to write this in order to help stop some of the misinformation campaigns that have been nonstop over the last few weeks as Bynes has been more in the spotlight than ever. All I can tell you is that Amanda is getting the help that she needs and that I am working closely with her and her family in order to ensure that we can move on from the tabloid sensationalism of her “breakdown” and instead concentrate on what a rare, talented young woman she has always been and continues to be.

Amanda is a beautiful, amazing and very strong woman who has been through a lot. So are Courtney and Britney. Like me, they are also survivors.

Also, an open letter full of self promotion isn’t complete without a few social media screenshots for illustrative purposes only. So here they are:

If Courtney Love is your biggest cheerleader, it might be time to evaluate your life choices.

Again: DON’T. BELIEVE. EVERYTHING. YOU. READ.

Meanwhile, Amanda Bynes will be under 24/7 psychiatric evaluation for another week after her involuntary 5150 hold was extended for an additional 14 days last Monday (Oct 13).

Firefighters Rescue 3-Year-Old Boy from Mailbox

Austrian firefighters said they freed a 3-year-old boy who had accidentally locked himself in a large mailbox during what could only be described as a “hella serious” game of hide-and-seek.

The Modling Fire Department in Austria said the boy and his parents ere visiting a residential complex in Brunn am Gebirge with his parents earlier this month (Mon. Oct 6) and he picked the mailbox as his perfect hide-and-seek hiding spot.

According to Austria’s The Local newspaper, when the boy closed the mailbox’s open door behind him, it locked, trapping him inside.

The toddler’s parents as well as residents from the complex reportedly tried to free him, but after many unsuccessful attempts to open the postal box, they called the “fire brigade,” who, along with the help of a hyrdaulic spreader and crowbar, were able to open the box and free the boy.

The firefighters who freed the boy said he was “amazingly brave” and greeted them with a smile as soon as they got the box open.

The official police report likely doesn’t note who won hide and seek, but we all know who deserves that trophy.

Restaurateur Tells Female TV Reporter “I Would Love To See My Meat In Your Mouth”

KCTV reporter Courtenay DeHoff (GREAT NAME, BTW!) dropped by the famous Kansas City burger joint Westport Flea Market to report on their “1985” special, which celebrates the KC Royals’ playoff success.

While shooting a live scene from the restaurant’s kitchen, owner Joe Zwillenberg told her “I would love to see my meat in your mouth,” setting Ms. “Courtenay” (not Courtney, but COURT-EN-AY … you GO GIRL!) up for the hilariously perfect response she provided.

Watch Beyoncé & Nicki Minaj Perform “Flawless” Remix Live in Paris

The Internet collectively lost their minds when Beyoncé teamed up with Nicki Minaj for the official “***Flawless” remix. And when word got out that Bey and Nicki performed the song in Paris on the last night of the “On The Run Tour,” which was being filmed for an upcoming HBO special, the Internet freaked out all over again.

The performance aired on HBO the following weekend (Sat. Sep 20), however, fans without cable (or friends with it) were left in the dark, unfortunately.

But that changed earlier this month when Queen B decided to bless the Internet by uploading the entire performance to her Vevo account as the song’s official music video (which you can watch above).

Now that’s ***Flawless!

2014 BET Hip Hop Awards: Brandy Performs “Wanna Be Down” with Queen Latifah, MC Lyte & Yo Yo

One of the best performances from the 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards came when Brandy re-united with female rappers Queen Latifah, MC Lyte and Yo Yo to perform the Hip Hop remix of “I Wanna Be Down” in front of an all-white backdrop.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the remix, and the four ladies appeared together on The Queen Latifah Show back in April to discuss how the popular song came to be.

2014 BET Hip Hop Awards: Doug E. Fresh Performs with Snoop Dogg After Receiving “I Am Hip Hop” Award

Common, Jay Electronica and Vince Staples honoring Mike Brown was a very emotional moment for the BET Hip Hop Awards, but another touching moment came when Doug E. Fresh took to the stage to accept his “I Am Hip Hop Award.”

As the Hip Hop legend accepted his award, he broke down into tears in the middle of his acceptance speech as he paid tribute to his mother, who recently passed away.

“I lost my mother five weeks ago,” Fresh revealed through tears. “I would like to acknowledge my mother because she was there for me since day one. My mother had Alzheimer’s and before she passed away she made a voice recording.”

Fresh then played the voice recording, and needless to say, the crowd at the Atlantic Civic center was moved and it looked like everyone was chopping onions.

The sadness in the room quickly turned to joy though because Uncle Snoop came out, handed Doug E. his “best friend” (a mic), and told him to “make mama proud” right before the duo kicked off an impromptu performance of his 1985 classic “La Di Da Di,” with Snoop spitting Slick Rick’s verse and Doug. E beat-boxing in the background.

Common & Jay Electronica Paid Tribute to Mike Brown at the 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards

The most touching moment of the 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards was when Common was joined by Jay Electronica, Vince Staples and a choir for a performance of the remix to his “Kingdom” single. The end of the performance featured a surprise (and warmly welcomed) appearance by Mike Brown’s parents.

“We do this for the people, black people all around this country that go through the struggle,” said Common. “We do this for our lost soldiers, our fallen soldiers.”

At the end of the performance, he brought out the parents of Mike Brown. The crowd put their hands in the air and there was a moment of silence in remembrance of the unarmed black teen who was killed by a white police officer in Ferguson.

Common’s peers praised his stirring set on social media. “Powerful moment on BET just now,” tweeted Trey Songz, while Estelle added, “Shouts to @common for powerful moment @ the bet hiphop awards. #MikeBrownlaw.”

Watch: Bobby Shmurda Performs “Hot N*gga” on Jimmy Fallon’s “Tonight Show”

Bobby Shmurda is riding so high off the success of his debut single “Hot N*gga,” we sincerely hope he doesn’t have a fear of heights … because it doesn’t look like he’ll be coming down anytime soon.

Not even six months after signing a major deal with Epic Records, the Brooklynite — who single-handedly made it socially acceptable for grown men to sway their hips from side to side to a hot beat — has already done something most rappers only get to dream about: performing on “The Tonight Show,” the most popular late night show on TV!

Shmurda, along with his BFF Rowdy Rebel and the rest of his GS9 crew members, made his late night debut on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” Friday (Oct 10) and performed “Hot Boy” (the censored version of “Hot N*gga,” obvs) for a crowd of people who were probably hearing the song for the first time that night. But who cares? N*GGA WE MADE IT!

Phaedra Parks is Divorcing Husband Apollo Nida Because “She’s Had Enough”

In news that should surprise no one, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Phaedra Parks plans to officially file for divorce from her husband Apollo Nida.

The divorce filing comes one month after Nida reported to federal prison (on Sep 11, specifically) to begin an eight-year prison sentence for fraud. According to TMZ, he could have gotten 30 years, but he snitched to get a reduced sentence.

A rep for Parks revealed to Hollywood Life that “Phaedra has retained an attorney with the intent of amicably ending her marriage.”

From Hollywood Life:

While the news is certainly upsetting, a source revealed that it is not a complete surprise.

“It’s becoming quite clear here in the A that Phaedra will leave Apollo once he begins serving his time,” our source revealed. “She’s doing it for herself but most importantly, she’s doing it for her boys.”

The couple have two young sons both under the age of four, Dylan and Ayden.

“Phaedra really feels Apollo let their family down. She was left in the dark about a lot of his extra curricular activities which led him to this position that he’s currently in,” our source says.

“She’s tired, she’s had enough and feels that ending the marriage is the best thing. She got married to be married. Not to make care packages and visit her husband, in prison, twice a week. That’s not what she signed up for.”

Hollywood Life says their source is “confident” that the divorce between the reality TV couple is “imminent,” however an official date on when she will actually file is unknown. (Sidebar: Or she could have filed already and we just don’t know it yet.)

“That part has yet to be determined,” HL’s source revealed. “She will though. She’s not planning on sticking by Apollo for eight years. She’s a great woman and will love you to death, but she’s fed up with Apollo and this time she’s making sure he will never disappoint her or their children again.”

When a woman’s fed up, there ain’t nothing you can do about it.

Paula Patton Moves New Boyfriend Zak Waters Into Her House Amid Robin Thicke Divorce

More bad news for Robin Thicke. Not only did his album tank (and boooy, did it TANK), but his wife Paula Patton (who the album was named after) is divorcing him, and she has also reportedly moved, in the words of Jay Z, “on to the next one.”

Paula made her divorce from Robin official by filing in Los Angeles on October 3rd, and the news broke to the media last Thursday (Oct 9).

People reports that Paula cited the ever so famous “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce. She’s also seeking joint custody of their 4-year-old son Julian.

But we already knew this was happening, so this is not news. What IS (or could be) news, however, is the possibility of a new man already moving in to fill Robin’s space this early in the game!

That woman moves fast, doesn’t she?

According to reports from Radar Online, Paula has already moved her new “boyfriend” Zak Waters into her “Calabasas bachelorette pad.”

And just weeks ago, Zak — a Los Angeles-based musician who is reportedly gearing up for an upcoming tour he’s co-headlining with French Horn Rebellion — posted a photo on Instagram from inside Paula’s home, along with the caption “My New View.”

zak-waters-instagram-paula-patton-house

Via Radar:

“Zak moved in with her a couple of weeks ago,” a close friend of Patton’s says. “They are very happy together and he treats her how she deserves to be treated.”

Of course, this news will not come easy to Patton’s ex-husband, Thicke, 37, who has tried relentlessly to win back her heart for months now, even going so far as to name his last album “Paula!”

As Radar previously reported, the last straw for Patton was when she caught her husband cheating with a masseuse who they had been
“carrying on a consensual three-way relationship with.”

“Robin is heartbroken that Paula has moved on so quickly,” the source said. “She is done with him. She does not want anyone talking to her about Robin. She has moved on.”

Well damn…

Sorry Robin. It doesn’t look like you will be “get(ting) her back” anytime soon.

VIDEO: That One Time Donna Goudeau Tried to Act Hard on TV, But Failed

This video gives us so much life!

For those who haven’t had the chance to see it by now … we’re just letting you know you’ve been missing out BIG time.

Instead of wasting your time by telling you how funny the video is and making fun of the people who are in it (which we could go on for days doing) … we’re just gonna let you watch above and join in on the fun for yourself.

Enjoy!

P.S. Ms. Donna Goudeau (yes, we know you are a female): You are NOT “legally blind.” You just need glasses.

Someone who is legally blind has a corrected vision of 20/200 in their best seeing eye. You might feel like you’re legally blind if you can’t see beyond a foot in front of you without wearing glasses, but as long as your vision can be corrected to 20/20 with a visual aid, such as glasses, then you are not considered legally blind.
