Erica Mena & Bow Wow Confirm Engagement

Bow Wow and “Love & Hip Hop New York” star Erica Mena have only been dating for six months, but they’re already deciding to take their relationship to the next level!

On the red carpet of the BET Hip Hop Awards this past weekend, Mena revealed that Bow Wow proposed to her and they are officially engaged.

“Uhh … he’s actually my fiancé,” the VH1 reality star responded when asked if Bow Wow was her boyfriend.

Since the news broke, Bow Wow has also spoken out and confirmed that a wedding is in the near future. He posted an image on Instagram of the ring he used to propose, and wrote in the caption that she “cried instantly” when he gave it to her.

Bow Wow also called into “106 & Park” Monday (Sep 22) and revealed how he and Erica have known each other for years and that their engagement isn’t a publicity stunt.

Check out what all Mr. Shad Moss had to say below (via NecoleBitchie):

On why he proposed:
I think what a lot of people don’t realize is me and Erica, we been knowing each other for years. If you pay attention, she’s in my “Fresh Azimiz” video. She’s the girl right in front of me. I been knowing her since then. And like I said, she was suppose to do [the movie] Lottery Ticket.

So it was just…I don’t know. The Scorpio-Pisces connect thing and it just happened. Anytime, you meet somebody like that and the bond is right…you gotta go ahead and make it do what it do!

On publicity rumors:
But it’s far from a publicity stunt. I’ve never been the type of person to do anything for publicity. I don’t need it. I’m on TV everyday. How much more publicity do I need? I did this out of my heart, I did this out of love. It’s time for me to sit my ass down! I’m out the game!

On how he proposed:
Um, y’all gotta wait for that. I’m not gonna let that one out of the bag, y’all gotta wait for that. I know it’s what our fans want to know but they’ll get that in due time. I know a lot of people doubting and hating. Got their timers up. This ain’t your regular, typical thing that’s going on. This real. This gon be around for a long time.

On setting a date:
It don’t take long to do nothing. That’s what a wise man told me. It don’t take long to do nothing. It ain’t gon take no two, three, four, five years. We gon move at godspeed. We been moving at godspeed for this long and we’re going to continue to do that.

Iggy Azalea Suing Ex-Boyfriend Who’s Peddling Sex Tape

Iggy Azalea is reportedly suing her ex-boyfriend, the same guy who is peddling a purported sex tape, for releasing music early without her permission and forging a contract.

According to a lawsuit filed last Wednesday (Sep 17) in California federal court obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, Azalea (real name: Amethyst Kelly) was living out of a hotel in Houston, Texas in 2008 while working on her music.

At the time, she met an older man named Maurice Williams (aka rapper Jefe Wine), who told her he was a “partner in an oil company.” Soon afterward, the man put Iggy up in an apartment, but what Azalea didn’t know at the time, was that Williams was already married with children.

From there, things (obviously) went downhill.

Via THR:

Williams followed Azalea when she moved to Atlanta in 2009, according to the lawsuit, and he moved into her house. Around that time, “Williams downloaded the entire contents of Azalea’s personal computer,” including unreleased master recordings.

Flash-forward to July 24, 2014, when a press release hit the wire announcing a joint venture among Primco, ESMG, Top Sail and Wine Enterprises, Inc., claiming that they had “secured the rights” to release an EP by Azalea titled Inizio. The press release quoted Williams as saying, “We believe the merger will be monumental because the projects that we have coming down the pipeline are going to shock the world!”

According to Azalea’s lawsuit, the music derived from her unreleased masters and constitutes violations of her copyright, trademark, name and likeness. She’s also alleging conversion of stolen information from her computer.

In August, just as Azalea was experiencing new stardom from “Fancy,” the summer’s hottest single, songs from “Inizio” began appearing on iTunes, the Google Play store, Pandora, Spotify and elsewhere.

The pop musician and Universal Music reacted by sending out cease-and-desist letters. The retailers bowed to the demand for removal, but suddenly the situation became even more troublesome.

Although Azalea’s lawsuit is silent on the subject of a sex tape, TMZ began making noise about one allegedly featuring Azalea. Carefully, the tabloid site didn’t say it had actually obtained such a sex tape. Instead, TMZ quoted Vivid’s Steven Hirsch as having seen it.

Later, TMZ hedged about whether it was really her, and finally, TMZ quoted Williams as saying he had an agreement that gave him exclusive rights to “manufacture, sell, distribute and advertise ‘any’ recording embodying visual images” of Azalea’s.
Azalea has a retort — it’s a forgery.

The complaint obtained by The Hollywood Reporter explains that around the time that Williams was living with Azalea in Atlanta, he introduced her to a man named Kareem Chapman as a potential manager. Shortly thereafter, Azalea signed an artist management agreement with Chapman’s firm. Williams allegedly kept Azalea’s copy.

That old agreement has allegedly been transformed into a “music recording and composition agreement” with sly finger work on Williams’ part.

“The Forged Agreement contains tell-tale signs that it is not genuine,” states the lawsuit. “For example, it includes mismatched fonts on the signature page, paragraph numbers out of sequence, a signature line for ‘Wine Enterprises, inc.’ [sic] (rather than for an authorized agent), and provides, as an address for legal notices, the contact information of an attorney who had no prior knowledge of the Forged Agreement.”

So now Azalea asserts that Williams really has no real rights to her music and is suing him for violating copyright on such songs as “It Ain’t Tricking,” “U Ain’t My Daddy,” “Take My Picture,” “Red Bottoms,” “Supernova” and “Miss International.”

She’s also seeking a declaration that he and companies doing business with him have no right to use the “Iggy Azalea” mark or to control commercial uses of her name and likeness.

Even though, as we previously mentioned, this is the same guy who’s supposed to be trying to sell a sex tape he has with her, yet there’s no mention in the lawsuit of that.

But, as The Hollywood Reporter interestingly points out, the complaint does mention that the defendants came out with promotional videos featuring an impersonator of Azalea,” which means that supposed “sex tape” could be (and likely is) just a video with the look-alike.

August Alsina Gets a Visit from Nicki Minaj in the Hospital

August Alsina has been receiving an outpouring support from his industry peers as he recovers from suffering multiple seizures last week, and on Monday (Sep 22) Nicki Minaj checked in on her No Love collaborator by paying him a visit in the hospital.

Along with this selfie she posted to Instagram, Nicki tweeted:

August also posted his own photo of the two, writing in the caption, “She has to be the sweetest girl I know. #ASisterThatPrays.”

August Alsina has been in the hospital after he collapsed on stage in the middle of a concert in New York City last Monday (Sep 15).

The New Orleans crooner reportedly suffered multiple seizures afterward, and was in a coma for three days.

While recovering in the hospital, August has thanked his friends and fans for their well wishes.

Showing off a photo on Instagram of gifts, cards and flowers he’s received, the singer wrote:

“Recovery, it’s a process. I woke from a coma. God gave me a second chance at life & I’d like to thank each and every person that sent any form and expression of love thru gift, card, flowers or simply your kind words and prayers. I’m a hustler, I’m a worker, I overwork myself at times but I’m a survivor and still here by the grace of God and your prayers.”

Get well soon, August!

Big Sean Says He Wasn’t Angry & Was Still With Naya Rivera When He Recorded “I Don’t F*ck With You”

Big Sean‘s beef with his ex-fiancee Naya Rivera isn’t over.

In addition to his new management deal with Roc Nation, Sean dropped four new tracks, one specifically aimed at the “Glee” actress.

The track is titled “I Don’t F*ck With You” (produced by DJ Mustard and Kanye West) and Sean makes it blatantly known that he dodged a bullet by calling off his engagement to Nivera.

Sean raps on the song.

“And every day I wake up I celebrate / Why? Cuz I just dodged a bullet from a crazy bitch”

Ouch!

Listen here:

However Sean is claiming he made the song while he and Naya were still together and changed some of the lyrics after the break-up.

Sean told MTV News:

“I wasn’t angry, man. You know, the funny thing about ‘I Don’t F**k With You’ is that I actually wrote that while I was in a relationship. I wasn’t bitter. I wrote that while I was with my ex.

“Then, obviously, after a few things went down, I went back and changed a couple words. But, mainly, the song was already there. It’s funny how things play out.”

It’s very possible Big Sean could have wrote the song before everything went down, but like he said, “it’s funny how things played out.”

Regardless, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper has moved on with pop singer Ariana Grande and Naya got married back in July. Everyone seems to be doing fine.

Robin Thicke Admits to Not Writing “Blurred Lines” & Being Addicted to Vicodin, Booze in Court Deposition

If Robin Thicke has ever had a hood pass, it should be officially been revoked.

Not only is the guy a lousy husband, but he’s also a snitch and a drug addict. And did we forget to mention an alcoholic too?

We’ve been fans of Robin for a long time now, however this past year this guy has countlessly made a fool of himself.

If you haven’t heard yet, Robin is being sued by Marvin Gaye’s family over his “Blurred Lines” hit single for allegedly ripping off Gaye’s own 1977 hit “Got to Give It Up.”

During his recent court deposition, Robin admitted to being addicted to Vicodin and booze, and being too “messed up” to be a part of the writing process for the song, basically throwing producer/writer Pharrell Williams all up under the bus.

Q: Were you present during the creation of ‘Blurred Lines’?

Thicke: I was present. Obviously, I sang it. I had to be there.

Q: When the rhythm track was being created, were you there with Pharrell?

Thicke: To be honest, that’s the only part where — I was high on Vicodin and alcohol when I showed up at the studio. So my recollection is when we made the song, I thought I wanted — I — I wanted to be more involved than I actually was by the time, nine months later, it became a huge hit and I wanted credit. So I started kind of convincing myself that I was a little more part of it than I was and I — because I didn’t want him — I wanted some credit for this big hit. But the reality is, is that Pharrell had the beat and he wrote almost every single part of the song.

Robin also revealed that he was high on Vicodin and alcohol during every interview he did last year.

“With all due respect, I was high and drunk every time I did an interview last year. Every day, I woke up, I would take a Vicodin to start the day and then I would fill up a water bottle with vodka and drink it before and during my interviews.”

He also claims to have been sober for the past 2 months and hints that his drug/alcohol problem ended his marriage with Paula Patton.

“I’ve been sober for the last 2 months … When your wife leaves you, it gives you good reason to sober up.”

It’s all starting to make sense now… SMDH.

Khloe Kardashian Reportedly Broke Up with French Montana

Khloe Kardashian and French Montana are reportedly no longer a couple after eight months of dating.

According to TMZ, Khloe broke things off with the “Pop That” rapper because she hasn’t fully recovered from her breakup with Lamar Odom and can’t emotionally handle a relationship right now.

Sources close to Khloe say she felt things between her and French were getting too serious and happening way too fast.

Another source told US Weekly, French was too needy and had become too dependent on Khloe.

“They are on a break,” one source tells Us. “The relationship got too heavy and Khloe needed to take a step back.” Another insider says the Moroccan-born musician, 29, was too “needy” for the reality star, 30. “It grated on her that he became so dependent on her,” the pal tells Us. It didn’t help, of course, that her family never really warmed to her beau.

Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner “did not approve and told Khloe all the time,” the first insider says. And she wasn’t the only one with reservations; a friend previously told Us that sister Kim Kardashian-West and stepdad Bruce Jenner were “very skeptical” of the rapper and worried he was using her for fame.

Regardless of what caused the “break,” Khloe and French plan on remaining friends and still hanging out. “She just wants time apart from him,” said one of Us Weekly’s sources.

Meanwhile, sources are basically telling E! Online the same thing: French is “needy” and he refuses to accept that things are over between him and Khloe.

The insider tells us that Khloé officially broke things off with French, who is having trouble with the split and “won’t really accept it.” The source adds that Khloé grew weary of his “needy, obsessive” behavior and she slowly began distancing herself.

The exes are still in contact and French, 29, is trying to save their romance, “but eventually they will be totally broken up,” the source adds. “For all intents and purposes, Khloé is single again.”

Despite splitting up romantically, the insider adds, “Khloé thinks he’s a great guy but it just wasn’t working out.”

Meh. We really didn’t think this “thing” between Khloe and French would last too long anyhow.

U2’s New Album “Songs of Innocence” Released for FREE on iTunes

If you’re a fan of U2 and you just so happen to be one of 500 million iTunes users worldwide, then this is a great week for you!

The world-famous rock band dropped a brand new album on iTunes, and it’s already been paid for, meaning that it’s FREE for us.

Tuesday (Sep 9) after Apple announced their new iPhone 6 and the stunning iPhone 6 Plus, as well as their their new smartwatch, dubbed “Apple Watch,” U2 hit the stage to perform their new single “The Miracle (of Joey Ramone)” and also announce that their new album Songs of Innocence would be available for download immediately after.

Via Billboard:

“Music runs deep in Apple’s DNA, and runs through the core of all of our products,” said Cook. “Over that time we’ve built a deep relationship with the music industry and the artists that make it up … A decade ago we began a deep collaboration with one of the best bands of all time — and that band is U2. They have agreed to perform for us today.”

Following a performance of new single “The Miracle (Of Joey Ramone),” U2 was greeted by Cook onstage, as well as a round of applause from those in attendance at the Flint Center in Cupertino, Calif. “Wasn’t that the most incredible single you’ve ever heard!” Cook gushed.

U2 frontman Bono then joked about the band’s long-delayed follow-up to 2009’s No Line on the Horizon, saying that there were multiple albums recorded that didn’t quite cut it for the group. Bono said that he wanted U2’s new album, which was finished “as of this time last week,” to be “as good as our very best work.”

The album title was stated, and after some teasing questions (“How do we get this to as many people as possible?” Bono wondered aloud), Bono and Cook revealed that the album was being released to iTunes’ 500 million subscribers across 119 countries for free. The album, which Bono called “our most personal record,” will be exclusive to iTunes users through Oct. 13. Cook touted the surprise release as “the largest album release of all time.”

In an open letter to fans, Bono explained that while the album is essentially free, someone had to pay for it, and while U2 can afford such luxuries as giving away music for free, most musicians cannot:

You’ll have noticed the album is free to U2.com’ers from the band. It’s also free to everyone on iTunes thanks to Apple. To celebrate the ten year anniversary of our iPod commercial, they bought it as a gift to give to all their music customers. Free, but paid for. Because if no-one’s paying anything for it, we’re not sure “free” music is really that free. It usually comes at a cost to the art form and the artist… which has big implications, not for us in U2, but for future musicians and their music… all the songs that have yet to be written by the talents of the future… who need to make a living to write them.

We’re collaborating with Apple on some cool stuff over the next couple of years, innovations that will transform the way music is listened to and viewed. We’ll keep you posted. If you like Songs of Innocence, stay with us for Songs of Experience. It should be ready soon enough… although I know I’ve said that before…

After U2’s new album finishes its “free digital run,” it will be released physically on October 14th along with a 24-page booklet, as well as a deluxe edition with four additional tracks.

For those who are unsure of how to claim their free copy of ‘Songs of Innocence,’ CNET has you covered with this handy guide right here.

Howard Stern’s Eulogy for Joan Rivers’ Star-Studded Funeral Was “So Wrong But So Right”

Joan Rivers was laid to rest Sunday morning (Sep 7) at Temple Emanu-El in New York City, and as expected, the funeral service was by all accounts the “showbiz affair” she would have wanted.

According to reports, there were A-list celebs, “an army of paparazzi” and streets blocked off with crowds of people (local residents, tourists, fans, etc.) there to pay their respects to the legendary comedienne.

Rivers died last Thursday at the age of 81, and her funeral was attended by “a legion of notables,” the Associated Press reported.

A legion of notables turned out to remember Rivers, who died Thursday at 81: comedians Kathy Griffin, Rosie O’Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg; colleague and friend Kelly Osbourne; Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick; and celebrity doctor Mehmet Oz.

Theater stars Bernadette Peters, Alan Cumming and Tommy Tune were there. Record producer Clive Davis was, too. Fashion designers Carolina Herrera and Michael Kors were in attendance. Stars from TV such as Barbara Walters, Geraldo Rivera, Diane Sawyer, Kathie Lee, Hoda Kotb and Andy Cohen. Late night band leader Paul Shaffer. And moguls Barry Diller, Donald Trump and Steve Forbes.

Rivers’ own personal funeral wishes, which she wrote about in her book “I Hate Everyone … Starting With Me,” were reportedly printed in the funeral program book, along with three of her most famous comedic lines — “Can we talk?”, ”Who are you wearing?”, and “Because I’m a funny person.”

The service opened with the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus singing “Hey Big Spender,” and Audra McDonald and Hugh Jackman also performed respective tributes to Rivers. The NYPD’s bagpipe band played “New York, New York” as the service ended.

There was also a rabbi, who read a passage from Ecclesiastes, according to the NY Times, but he made sure not to “ramble on,” per Rivers’ wishes.

Although Joan said she didn’t want a eulogy at her funeral, Howard Stern stepped up to the plate and eulogized his friend in a way that made everyone in attendance laugh, and most certainly would have made Joan proud.

Stern explained on his radio show on Monday that Melissa Rivers (Joan’s daughter) asked him to deliver the eulogy for her mother’s funeral just days before the ceremony was to take place, and at first, he was hesitant because he didn’t think that he was the right person for the job. But boy was he wrong.

According to ABC News:

“I had gotten a call from Melissa like a day and half before the service asking me if I would speak,” he said. “I said to her, ‘Melissa, you are asking the wrong guy.’ I said, ‘I’ll do it, I would do anything for Joan, I will do anything for you.'”

The radio host and an icon in his own right added that he thought someone else could do a better job speaking about Rivers and giving her the send-off her knew the comedic legend deserved.

“[Melissa] said, ‘No, I want you to do it,'” he added. “It was a lot of pressure because I wanted to come through for Melissa and come through for Joan.”

Stern added that he even left the Hamptons and his wife to be alone in the city with his thoughts.

“I didn’t want to say the wrong thing,” he said. “I was in touch with Louis C.K. and he said, ‘You know, Joan really deserves a great send off. He said something very profound. He said, ‘Joan was like an aunt or a best friend who could make everything better.’ Even in times after say 9/11 or the country just seems to be going down or things just seem to be bad, when she would crack a joke … you didn’t feel so alone.”

He added, “It just made you feel better knowing Joan Rivers was making a joke about it.”

So it goes without saying that Howard Stern opening his eulogy for Joan Rivers by saying she had a “dry pussy” would have certainly been approved by the comedic legend.

From Margaret Cho’s account of the funeral, which she posted to her personal blog:

Her signature gardenia perfume mixed with the gargantuan arrangements of the heady white blooms and so her presence was heavy and uncompromised. This is how she wanted us to say good-bye to her, and everyone came early except Donald Trump, who was whisked to the front near the family, ginger hair exploding and obvious over all the yarmulkes.

In the morose silence Howard Stern said, “Joan Rivers had a dry pussy.”

At first, the words just hung there, as no one knew exactly what to do. Of course I started laughing hysterically, and everyone else, remembering who we were there to honor, followed suit. Howard Stern actually choked back tears as he continued – “Joan’s pussy was so dry it was like a sponge – so that when she got in the bathtub – whooooosh – all the water would get absorbed in there! Joan said that if Whitney Houston had as dry a pussy as Joan’s, she would still be alive today…”

It was so wrong but so right at the same time. So Joan. So great. RIP my friend.

“There was a lot of laughs,” talk-show host Geraldo Rivera said of Stern’s eulogy for Rivers. “He started off with a vagina joke, and it went on from there.”

Watch: Black Ink Crew’s Ceaser & Dutchess Fight Puma & Quani in NYC Street

The latest season of VH1’s “Black Ink Crew” ended with Ceaser and Puma burying the hatchet and finally getting over their differences … but in a new video that has surfaced online, it appears that whatever beef Caeser and Puma had didn’t get fully resolved on the show.

If you’ll recall, the two fell out after Ceaser started dating Dutchess, which — after disagreeing on a number of things, both personally and professionally — caused Puma to eventually go on and open his own tattoo shop Ink 124, and by the end of Season 2, they were back friends again. Somewhat.

Fast forward to now, and things are right back where they were at the beginning of the second season of “Black Ink Crew.” Probably even worse.

This past Sunday (Sep 7), the cast of the show attended a fashion show at the Highline Ballroom in New York City’s Meatpacking District … and we’re not sure what happened during the show, but after the show, they took to the streets for an all-out brawl that was captured on video.

In the footage (above), it’s clear that it’s couple vs. couple, with Ceaser and Dutchess against Puma and his wife Quani.

From The YBF:

In the beginning of the video, you can see a woman start to attack Dutchess and they begin fighting. Then you see Ceaser on the ground tussling with some men.

Puma then runs up with a bottle, but luckily, he was unable to hit anyone with it. Ceaser gets up off the ground and throws a quick punch in the face to one of Puma’s homies. Ouch!

Shortly after the fight, Ceaser and Dutchess booth took to Instagram and claimed they were jumped.

http://instagram.com/p/sqokCoMbgv/

Ceaser wrote in the caption:

“No scratches,No bruises…. Niggas couldn’t beat 1 on 1 so they had to jump me……..this lil nigga is so pussy.”

http://instagram.com/p/srBo2uR4SL/

Dutchess deleted the above video, yet this one — which actually shows a snippet of the fight — remains posted to her Instagram along with the caption that follows:

http://instagram.com/p/srLLOlsDsx/

Thanks @gdott for pulling them wack bitches off me and @quazedot @milkman115 thanks for holding y’all Nigga down. #luv men lie women lie but if u was there u know the truth everybody else speculate but they started it by jumping us and it got ended they just couldn’t do it check how my man decked pumas boy dubb! SMH … Can’t we all just get along?

Sources say someone (possibly Dutchess) was sent to the hospital. Also, while VH1 cameras weren’t rolling at the time of the street fight, the crew is in the middle of shooting their third season, which looks like it’s going to be a must-watch!

Rich Homie Quan Fought a Man for Trying to Steal His Chain at Adrien Broner Fight

Just days after the Migos got into an-all out brawl during a show in Nashville over a fan snatching one of their chains, their “New Atlanta” rap affiliate Rich Homie Quan ran into a similar ordeal.

Quan was at Adrien Broner‘s boxing match against Emmanuel Taylor in Cininnati, OH when another guy attending the fight tried to steal his chain. Quan didn’t take the guy’s attempt to “chain snatch” lightly and threw a few punches before security stepped in and got the situation under control.

Where was his “hubbie” Young Thug when all of this was going down?

To be such a small guy though, Rich Homie looks like he can handle himself pretty well, proving that maybe he is about that life after all.

Watch the footage (via TMZ) here:

Adrien Broner Walks to the Ring with Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan Rapping “Lifestyle”

Adrien Broner did a lot of sh*t just to live this here lifestyle … or at least that’s how he feels about himself.

The pro boxer — who ends up in the news way more for his foolish antics than he does for actual boxing, btw — came out to the ring for his fight with Emmanuel Taylor accompanied by Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan and Birdman as Thug and his “hubbie” Quan performed their hit single “Lifestyle,” and Thug’s “lover” Birdman did what Birdman does best: stand there and look like money.

Broner, hoping the presence of Rich Gang would be good luck for his match against Taylor, obviously relished in the moment, smiling huge and dancing crazy the whole time.

In the end, Adrien “The Problem” Broner did win the fight by unanimous decision, but other than that time he knocked Taylor down, he didn’t really fight “all that well,” according to Complex Sports.

It was a ticky-tacky bout that snoozed along for twelve rounds until that GIF happened. Now, because that GIF happened, we’re all going to forget about how Broner didn’t fight like a man with a plan, but instead a reactive amateur with hella physical attributes. Same old stuff from good old Broner.

Here’s a Vine of the hit. Pay attention to the dance Broner does afterward.

Apple Introduces the iPhone 6, Available September 19th

It’s finally here!!!

After months and months of rumors, speculation, more rumors, more speculation, and even more rumors and speculation, Apple has finally introduced the iPhone 6 — and it’s their most drastic update yet!

In the words of the popular tech blog Gizmodo, Apple’s iPhone 6 is “A Little Bit Bigger” and “A Whole Lot Better.”

According to Giz, who was invited to Apple’s annual live event for the first time since they leaked the iPhone 4 in 2011, the iPhone 6 is “a sleek sliver of aluminum that comes in two sizes.”

The iPhone 6 is pretty. The device sheds the boxy profile of its predecessor in favor of rounded edges. It’s also significantly thinner than any other iPhone — 6.9mm thick for the model with the 4.7″-inch screen!

The iPhone 5’s combination of anodized aluminum and glass panels has been replaced with an all anodized aluminum case with ion-strengthened glass that curves around the front. The overall effect brings the iPhone 6 design in line with that of the iPad Air and iPad Mini.

Like the iPad, the new iPhone also features an embedded Apple logo in the back case. It is pretty no matter which way you look at it.

The new iPhone lineup also features a new generation of displays that Apple’s calling Retina HD. That means 38-percent more pixels are being packed into the 4.7-inch screen.

Bigger screen and more pixels means the picture is sure to be beautiful. Other upgrades include an improved polarizer and an ultrathin backlight.

As expected, the brand new iPhone also comes with a brand new A8 chip. The company claims that it’s 50 percent faster than the A7 chip.

The motion coprocessor, aptly named the M8, also gets an upgrade. It does all the good accelerometer tasks but can now estimate distance, including flights of stairs. On that note, there’s now a barometer inside of the iPhone that can collect atmospheric data.

Other little improvements include an upgraded LTE modem that promises faster upload and download speeds. The new LTE technology accommodates VoLTE. And 802.11ac Wi-Fi which is supposed to be three times faster than the previous generation.

With VoLTE, the new iPhone can make calls over Wi-Fi using your cellular connection.

Apple’s all-new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus will both be available beginning Friday, September 19th and will ship with iOS 8, which releases worldwide on September 17th.
