Why Didn’t Beyoncé Show Up at Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl Halftime Show?

We have waited 8 god-awful long years and just when we thought there would be relief, hope was snuffed out like its name was Hillary Clinton.

Back in 2009, when Lady Gaga was the absolute hottest thing in pop music, she teamed up with Beyoncé for a 1-2 punch collaboration. She hopped on Bey’s “Video Phone” and did her best impression of Beyoncé (these are her words, not mine) in the video. It was cute but felt a little forced.

But when Beyoncé returned the favor and turned up on Gaga’s track, “Telephone,” from her EP The Fame Monster, wigs were snatched. And then when the epic music video, which was directed by Jonas Akerlund, came out and took not only people’s wigs but also their eyebrows and edges, life was truly given.

It was only a matter of time before these two dynamic divas would give us an earth shattering live performance of this potently powerful pop duet. Or so we thought.

The 2010 Grammys came and went (both women actually performed at the show) and nothing. The 2010 VMAs came and went and neither woman performed, even though the video was nominated for Video of the Year, alongside Gaga’s video “Bad Romance,” which did win. And then as time dragged on, we pinned our hopes on Gaga’s 2013 performance at the iTunes Festival, or Beyoncé’s Super Bowl performance in 2013. Even when Beyoncé attended the HBO taping of Gaga’s Monster Ball Tour, still nothing.

Then, when Gaga was announced as the performer for this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show, I thought: Ah! This will be it. Gaga has been saving her first-ever live performance of “Telephone” with Beyoncé for her Super Bowl performance! That would certainly be something worth the wait.

And apparently, I wasn’t the only one expecting a newly-pregnant Beyoncé to come tottering out on stage when “Telephone” started up during Gaga’s Super Bowl set.

But our dreams, unlike what the Disney song claims, were not meant to come true. Beyoncé did not emerge on stage during the Super Bowl (even though it was in her freakin’ hometown, Houston!!) and yet another opportunity for Gaga and Beyoncé to deliver a live performance of “Telephone” has gone by.

Our last hope is Beyoncé’s headlining gig at Coachella this year, where she’s rumored to be bringing along some special guests. Could one of them be Lady Gaga?

Who knows? To be honest, since neither has ever publicly commented on the subject, it’s hard to know why the two have never jumped on stage together despite collaborating on two songs together. It does, from outside appearances, seem that the warmth and friendship between Gaga and Beyoncé has died down.

Gaga has not wished Beyoncé congratulations on her pregnancy nor did she offer any congratulations or words of encouragement for Beyoncé’s ground-breaking Lemonade project. Back in 2009 tho, Gaga would’ve crowed about it because she was in love with all things Bey and couldn’t stop gushing about her. But that’s just reading the tea leaves in social media and could mean nothing.

Let’s start fasting and praying for a breakthrough at Coachella later this year, shall we?

Lady Gaga’s Perfect Illusion: Gaga Literally Brings the Roof Down During 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show

Last year, she performed the Nation Anthem, and this year Lady Gaga took the center stage. Gaga headlined the 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show in Houston and made football fans and little monsters alike lose their minds. The woman literally bungee jumped from the rooftop of the stadium!

Gaga began her epic performance by singing “God Bless America” and snippets from other patriotic songs on the roof of the stadium (a nod to the current tense political climate). With the American flag behind her, she bungee jumped and perfectly transitioned into “Edge of Glory.” Singing a few more of her hits, Gaga finally landed on the stage and performed “Born This Way.”

Wait a minute, “Telephone?” Is Queen Beyonce about to make an appearance?

Well, that was anticlimactic. Beyoncé must be too busy creating life two times over in her magical womb.

Anyways, the show must go on. Gaga continued the performance with “Just Dance” and danced through the crowd on the field. She slowed it down a little bit by singing “Million Reasons” at the piano, even adorably shouting out her mom and dad.

Quick change and fire! Mother Monster closed out her performance with the hit “Bad Romance.” Hey, nice choreo!

She threw down her mic, caught a football, and ended the halftime show much like it began, by jumping off the stage and out of the camera’s view.

All-in-all, it was a solid performance. Unlike recent halftime shows, Gaga chose not to have any guest performers, which is a welcomed change. (Although I would’ve loved to see Queen Bey slay for a few seconds). Little monsters and Gaga, herself, should be very proud of this once-in-a-lifetime moment.

Brittney Jones: Florida Woman Performs Oral Sex on Camera in Courthouse Hallway, Posts Video on Twitter

It’s one thing to go viral. But one Jacksonville, Florida woman took it to the next level and went viral by giving oral… while in a courthouse.

26-year-old Brittney Jones has gone viral after she posted a graphic video of herself performing oral sex on a man while in the Duval County Courthouse Tuesday (Jan. 31). The 34-second clip showed Jones in the act, she then panned the camera to show the empty hallway, and it ended with Jones giving the camera a job well-done look.

Jones – who was appearing in court on drug charges – posted the video on Twitter. She wrote:

“Just found a way to get out of trouble.”

The sex act was captured on the courthouse’s security cameras and occurred during business hours. Officials say the man in the video is not a courthouse administration employee, but possibly works as courthouse security. Police are investigating the matter, but no charges have been filed.

The 26-year-old has frequently posted sexually explicit material online. In fact, if her name sounds familiar, it’s because you’ve heard about her before! She went viral in January 2015 for posting a video on Facebook of herself performing fellatio on a man, which was eventually re-posted to WorldStarHipHop for all to see.

Her father says he is not ashamed of his daughter, only disappointed. He told News4Jax that the family has tried to get her to stop posting such material over the past few years.

“I would hate for him to turn on TV and see his mom. That’s very, very upsetting to me.”

Jones was appearing for a Jan. 10 arrest and charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She pleaded no contest and served two days in jail. She was then fined and released.

According to Jacksonville.com, Jones has had several run-ins with the law (and courthouses):

A check of the woman’s jail record shows six arrests since 2008. Those include a 2009 charge of aggravated battery, followed by battery on an inmate two months later when she was in jail. She also has a domestic battery charge in July 2015, as well as written threats to kill or do bodily harm, and was released Jan. 22, 2016, after spending six months in jail, records show. Her Jan. 19 arrest also included charges of violation of probation and smuggling contraband into jail.

Jones is proud of her actions and newfound viral fame. She even offered to do paid interviews on Thursday (Feb. 2) via a Facebook post.

“To all the news channels following me on Facebook. I know for a fact your reading this, so I will let all of your know; I will only do a interview with the highest bidder. Shoot me a price.”

Um, all I can really say is that I guess it’s fitting her initial are BJ!

Black Twitter Drags Mike Pence for Honoring a White Man During Black History Month

Happy Black History Month!

Though black awesomeness should be a year-long celebration, we’ve (officially) got 28 days to cram all the amazing, magical, wonderful, brilliant, things black Americans have achieved and accomplished in this country. It should be a joyous time to celebrate, but unfortunately, the vice president just had to kick things off with some white savior ridiculousness.

Vice President Mike Pence took to his Twitter on Wednesday (Feb. 1) to acknowledge Black History Month. However, instead of honoring one of the pillars of black history like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. or Rosa Parks, he felt it in his heart to shout out a white man: 16th President Abraham Lincoln!

Pence conflated National Freedom Day, which celebrates Lincoln signing the 13th Amendment on Feb. 1 1865, which outlawed slavery, and Black History Month. However, he didn’t even get it that right. By only crediting Lincoln with ending slavery, Pence erased the efforts of those involved in the abolitionist movement.

Needless to say, Twitter called out Pence for choosing to honor a white man during Black History Month. #PenceBlackHistory and #WhiteBHM and other hashtags were created.

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump and White House press secretary Sean Spicer seemingly have no clue who Frederick Douglas was, his contributions to American history, or that he’s been dead for 122 years.

“Frederick Douglass is an example of somebody who has done an amazing job that is being recognized more and more, I noticed,” Trump stated during a Black History Month breakfast with black leaders and a few of his blacks black supporters.

Spicer attempted – but failed – to explain Trump’s statement later that day after a reporter asked for clarification of what Trump was trying to say.

“Well I think there was contributions. I think he wants to highlight the contributions that he has made and I think that through a lot of the actions and statements that he is going to make, I think that the contributions of Frederick Douglass will become more and more.”

Yeah, all this was just day one. This is going to be a very interesting Black History Month with Donald Trump as POTUS and Mike Pence as VPOTUS. These white men clearly have no clue what’s going on.

Did Donald Trump Really Rename Black History Month to African American History Month?

Its officially February, which means, for a mere 28 days, our country will recognize the contributions and accomplishments of black people in American society. However, did President Donald Trump just rename Black History Month as “African American History Month?”

On Wednesday (Feb. 1), Trump held a breakfast with black leaders, his few black supporters, and his lone black Cabinet pick, Dr. Ben Carson, and officially proclaimed February 2017 as National African History Month. Once TMZ noticed this change, a White House official said Trump felt the term “black” was “outdated” and that African American was more appropriate.

So, did Trump, himself, actually change the name of BHM just because he felt like it? As it turns out, this is just another example of Trump taking credit for something he had nothing to do with. Though the month-long remembrance is widely known as Black History Month, most modern presidents have officially proclaimed February as National African American History Month.

President Gerald Ford expanded Negro History Week (which began in 1926) to a month in 1974 and renamed it National African American History Month. Presidents have followed the tradition, including Obama, Bush, and Clinton, with Reagan proclaiming National Black (Afro-American) History Month.

In response to Trump’s presumed change of the remembrance, many pointed out that not all black Americans are of African descent. For this purpose, Black History Month is actually more appropriate.

Trump may get a pass on this one, but don’t get it twisted, he’s still an ignorant man with racist tendencies. He constantly treats black people as a monolith who only lives in inner-cities. I look at him with a side-eye every time he says “the blacks.”

Still, it makes no sense as to why Trump would try to take credit for something presidents have been doing for over 40 years!

Kobe Buffalomeat: Some Things to Know About the Illinois State Recruit With the Best Name Ever

Today was national college signing day, the day high school seniors can officially declare what college they will be playing at next year. Of course that means there’s a ton of news flying around the blog-o-sphere right now hyping players and the future of college football programs around the country.

And then there’s this story, which has become the most talked about all day. World, meet Kobe Buffalomeat, in all of his viral greatness.

Who is the mysterious Kobe Buffalomeat?

Kobe “Beef” (his nickname — how great is that?) Buffalomeat is a senior coming out of Lawrence, Kansas. The offensive lineman has officially signed to play with the Illinois State Redbirds in the upcoming season. And it’s easy to understand why. Just take a look at this video of the buffalo-sized teen manhandling his poor, normal high school-size opponents.

Did we mention he’s a beast?

Because he is.

He may only be a teenager, but the Redbirds are excited about the prospect of Buffalomeat pushing their program to the next level. And it’s easy to see why. The teenager is coming into college at 6-foot-7-inches and weighing in a monstrous 285 pounds. But that’s not enough, apparently.

Illinois State recruiting coordinator said, “He has some work to do in the weight room, continue development, but we think he could be a very special player. You just can’t coach that kind of size and attitude.”

I’m scared to see what he looks like after a few years of college workouts. I’m imagining something like this…

Anyone who’s over 6’5 has heard the question at some point in their life (but more likely, many, many times). “So, do you play basketball?” And the answer for the 6’7 Buffalomeat is yes. In fact, after joining the football team his freshman year, Buffalomeat walked away from the sport, instead choosing to focus on basketball. It wasn’t until last year that the football coach convinced him to step back onto the gridiron.

“I kind of picked up where I left off,” Buffalomeat said of his return to football. “I didn’t forget too many things. Just the fine adjustments you have to make to the steps and stuff.”

And of course, social media is eating this Buffalomeat up.

University of South Carolina Student Mocks Black History Month With Blackface Snapchat

Today is February 1st, which means it’s the first day of Black History Month — the month where Black people get a WHOLE 28 DAYS to celebrate our history and the accomplishments of our people.

To commemorate BHM, Madeline Maynor, a white University of South Carolina student, decided to paint her face black and post a Snapchat, featuring a “Young, Black & Proud” image overlay/filter … possibly as a “joke.”

A photo of the image has been shared on Facebook and is in the process of going viral:

“A student at the University of South Carolina took it upon herself to put on blackface and make a mockery of black people and Black History Month. I never speak on it much but there is so much racism and discrimination that goes on at USC and this is not the first incident,” fellow USC (South Carolina) student Whitney Washington wrote in a Facebook post.

“THIS is why it’s important and absolutely NECESSARY to celebrate black History Month. It is a celebration of all of the accomplishments and the struggles we have overcome to better ourselves in this world. However, ignorance is still existent.This girl is an EMBARRASSMENT and I hope the university deals with her accordingly.”

Unfortunately, this is not the first time a college student has shared an image of themselves wearing blackface.

Paige Shoemaker, a former Kansas State University (KSU) student, went viral on social media for posting a Snapchat of her wearing blackface with a friend along with the caption “Feels good to finally be a ni**a.”

Brooke Merino, a Prairie View A&M soccer player also landed herself in hot water for posing on Snapchat with her face covered in black tape and the caption “When you just tryna fit in at your HBCU.”

And a group of four white students at University of North Dakota (UND) posted a Snapchat of themselves in blackface with the words “Black lives matter” written on the post. That same school had gone viral for posting a racist Snapchat reading “locked the black bitch out.”

University of South Carolina (USC) has not responded to this latest incident involving their own student, Madeline Maynor, but we will let you know if/when they do.

Will Beyoncé’s Pregnancy Affect Her Upcoming Coachella Performance?

In case you haven’t heard, BEYONCÉ IS PREGNANT WITH TWINS!!!

She made the HUGE announcement about an hour ago via Instagram, and the internet has been going crazy ever since.

But, after calming down from the excitement, everyone is asking questions, like, “How is she going to perform at Coachella pregnant as hell?” and “IS SHE EVEN GOING TO PERFORM AT ALL?!”

According to TMZ, AEG Live — the company that is producing Coachella — was completely in the dark about her pregnancy, which “now makes her headlining gig at the festival problematic.” YIKES.

The gossip site goes on to report that Beyoncé is somewhere between four and five months pregnant, which means she’s already pretty far along. If that’s true, by April, she’ll be about six or seven months pregnant, and because she’s having twins, her baby bump will be HUGE.

One AEG source joked, “The show will go on. She’ll just borrow Dave Grohl’s big chair,” the one he used after he broke his foot.

Fortunately for Beyoncé though, this ain’t her first time at the rodeo. When she was pregnant with Blue Ivy in 2011, she performed at the MTV Video Music Awards — where she announced her pregnancy — and she also did a sold-out four-night residency at NYC’s Roseland Ballroom.

However, she was about four months pregnant then with just one baby (not six or seven months with two babies like how she’ll be at Coachella). And even then, she spoke about how hard it is performing while pregnant:

“When you’re pregnant, it’s a little bit harder to breathe, so it was hard doing all the choreography and singing at the same time.”

Beyoncé hasn’t said anything about her upcoming Coachella set, so as the old saying goes, no news is good news. It looks like she’ll still perform, but accommodations will certainly have to be made for her, and don’t expect to see a re-incarnation of the Formation Tour, which required A LOT of dancing.

Beyoncé: I’m Pregnant … WITH TWINS!!!

Beyoncé is pregnant again, and this time, she’s having not just one, but TWO babies! And no, this is not just some rumor from a tabloid … because she just made the big announcement on Instagram!

“We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over,” Bey wrote on Instagram Wednesday (Feb. 1). “We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters”

The IG announcement — which shows Bey sitting on a bed of flowers with a veil over her head as she cradles her growing baby bump — is barely 30 minutes old, and the internet is already going NUTS:

Kandi Burruss Talks Porsha Williams Lesbian Drama, Spills the Tea on What Really Went Down

The biggest questions every Real Housewives of Atlanta fan has had since the beginning of season 9 are about to be answered. Is Kandi Burruss an “undercover” lesbian? Did she and husband Todd Tucker have a threesome with Porsha Williams (or Porsha’s friend Shamea)?

This storyline, which was teased in the season’s super trailer, is about to air in an upcoming episode. However, Kandi is already spilling the tea on went down between she and Porsha in an interview with TooFab.

Kandi spoke with TooFab’s Brian Particelli to reveal what really happened. As she has previously stated, Kandi reconfirms that the she has dipped into the lady pond in the past. This is no secret; therefore, Porsha’s claims of her being an “undercover lesbian” are simply untrue. However, Kandi spills a little more tea and says Porsha (who has made homophobic comments in the past) may be the one hiding in the closet.

“She and I, she’s kissed me in the club full out and said she wanted to do things to me, they gonna show it on the show. The point is, this girl changes her story so much. So, when I confronted her on the show about it, for saying things she said about me, she came back with this story about me and Todd trying to do a threesome and that’s how that came about. When you get to see the full show, she’s saying it in response to me confronting her. Well, you’re saying this about me, but you and I kissed before. Clearly, if I’m supposed to be in the closet, then you must be.”

Oooo this is juicy! And to top it off, Kandi, apparently, has receipts. Porsha tried to deny a kiss with Kandi ever happened, but Kandi was prepared and provided text messages that support her side of the story.

“First, it’s ‘I would never do anything with her,’ until I had brought those text messages on her honey that showed her texting me a couple days later talking about how great everything … how much fun she had and how she would rape me on camera. Honey, make up your mind. Are you just gonna own it … or are you gonna keep trying to drag me. Why? Don’t drag me, I wasn’t dragging you!”

If it seems Kandi is in rare form this season, you are right. The Grammy winner says she was tired Porsha and former show BFF Phaedra Parks being shady towards her. So, she entered the season ready for any BS they may be thrown her way.

“[A]t one point, me and the other girls were friends, I tried not to go too hard on them. Going into this season, I said, you know what, I’m just not taking anything. Anytime they come to me with some BS, I’m calling them out on it. And that’s what has happened. I’m not angry, I’m just not holding back.”

Unfortunately, she says there’s probably no hope for her friendship with Phaedra. This is probably for the best because RHOA’s resident “southern belle” is too shady and fake to be a genuine friend to Kandi.

“It’s definitely unrepairable at this point. In the past, I felt like it was repairable, but every time I would try to reach out to try to get some type of positive growth, they would do something else. It just got to the point now where I’m like ‘no, it’s so not repairable,’ it’s so broken at this point.”

Selena Gomez & The Weeknd Briefly Go Instagram Official, Caught Kissing During Romantic Italy Get Away

We’ve seen the paparazzi pics, but you know a celebrity relationship is never 100% real until its confirmed on social media. For a brief moment, Selena Gomez and The Weeknd were Instagram official.

Gomez and Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) are currently vacationing in Italy. (They’ve only been together for like three weeks and they’re already jet setting across the world together?!) On Monday (Jan. 30), while riding a boat through the canals in Venice, Gomez posted a short video of her beau on Instagram.

She deleted the video shortly thereafter. So, was the post a mistake? Don’t count on it because her simple caption said all we need to know. Instead of words or hashtags, Gomez opted to express herself with a heart eyes emoji.

The two were spotted in Florence on Friday (Jan. 27) admiring Michelangelo’s statue of David. They were also caught kissing later that night during a dinner date.

A source tells E! News:

“Selena was very sweet and very loving. She would caress his face and kiss him often. He makes her laugh and she was completely focused on him. It was like no one else existed, just the two of them. They were completely immersed in one another.”

It was originally thought the two were just “having fun,” but it seems the relationship is quickly becoming serious. However, the source says the couple has refrained from placing any labels on their relationship.

“Their romance is moving quickly, but they are OK with that. They are exclusively dating each other. Selena is not one to date around, and when she cares and opens up to a man, she makes sure it’s the real thing.

They are just dating. Abel is taking it slow but respects Selena and wants to see where this may go. They haven’t called each other boyfriend or girlfriend yet, but they are exclusively just with each other. They are both very smitten about each other.

Abel is extremely romantic, and their time in Italy was perfect. They are enjoying getting to explore each other’s worlds.”

Though Gomez and The Weeknd seem to be in good place, their exes, not so much. According to the Mirror, two sources revealed Bella Hadid is wary of Gomez and is upset her former boyfriend of 18-months has already found someone else.

Speculation Gomez and Tesfaye were dating began in early January when the two were caught kissing on a date in Santa Monica. They met in 2015 when they both performed at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, a show Tesfaye’s then-girlfriend Bella walked in. A Mirror source says there were “sparks” then.

Twitter Has Nothing But Jokes After Kodak Black & Tyga Debut Interesting New Haircuts

It’s time for another internet debate. This time, it’s not about what color is this or what is that. The latest internet debate is actually “Which rapper has the worst haircut?” Tyga and Kodak Black both got fresh haircuts recently that have baffled social media.

Kodak chopped off all of most of his signature “Kodak knots.” However, he strangely decided to leave just one of his knots in the back. The front of the cut looks like a regular fade that many compared it to the “Boosie fade.” However, the Florida rapper quickly shot that down on Instagram.

Kirk Franklin Opposes Trump’s “Muslim Ban” & Epically Shuts Down Twitter Troll in the Name of Jesus

Gospel singer Kirk Franklin may be a man of God, but one twitter troll learned very quickly that he is not the one to try.

President Donald Trump’s illegal executive order banning people from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States caused uproar and sparked protests across the nation. Many expressed their thoughts on social media, including celebrities.

Although Christian, Franklin took to his own Twitter account on Saturday (Jan. 28) to stand up for his Muslim brothers and sisters.

A Trump troll felt some sort of way regarding Franklin’s compassion towards people of another faith and left an ominous comment about the singer’s daughter.


Franklin gave a brilliant comeback – in Jesus’ name, of course!

So yea, I dare anyone to run up in Kirk Franklin’s house. Social media approved of Franklin’s epic clapback as well.

After his posts went viral, Franklin returned to Twitter Sunday (Jan. 29) to further explain why he defended another religion and called those of the Muslim faith his “brother.”

Franklin has been outspoken in the past and typically supports inclusiveness. It’s great that he would use his platform to advocate for people who are of a different religion than or those that may share different beliefs/opinions.

Though he is all about love and Jesus, don’t get it twisted. The moral of the story is don’t underestimate Kirk Franklin; he doesn’t play any games.

Twitter Continues to Drag Uber After CEO Travis Kalanick Snitches on Other Business Leaders Who Support Trump

Social media is not playing games with Uber. Just days after the #DeleteUber campaign became a trending topic, social media is now coming for Uber CEO Travis Kalanick for dry snitching on other well-known CEOs who are serving on an advisory board for Donald Trump’s administration.

The company faced a PR nightmare after it seemingly tried to profit from the New York City taxi drivers’ strike at JFK Airport in protest to President Trump’s travel ban executive order. Uber ignored the strike and continued to offer services, even turning off its surge pricing to lower costs of a ride. This sparked the #DeleteUber hashtag.

In addition, Kalanick also serves on a business/economic advisory board for the Trump administration, along with other business leaders. The board is known as the Strategic and Policy Forum.

In response to the backlash, Kalanick issued a statement and defended his relationship with Trump. Apparently tired of being the only one taking the heat, he also revealed the names of several other CEOs serving on the board too.

We partner around the world optimistically in the belief that by speaking up and engaging we can make a difference. Our experience is that not doing so shortchanges cities and the people who live in them. This is why I agreed in early December to join President Trump’s economic advisory group along with Elon Musk (CEO of Tesla), Mary Barra (Chairwoman/CEO of General Motors), Indra Nooyi (Chairwoman/CEO of Pepsi), Ginni Rometty (Chairwoman/CEO of IBM), Bob Iger (Chairman/CEO of Disney), Jack Welch (former Chairman of GE) and a dozen other business leaders.

Twitter did not care for Kalanick’s snitching and definitely let it be known.

Kalanick’s statement also informed customers and employees Uber plans to provide legal support for drivers, compensate loss of earnings, and create a $3 million defense fund for drivers affected by the travel ban.

He has also since joined hundreds of other CEOs and tech leaders opposing the “Muslim ban” and signed a petition urging Trump to rescind the executive order.

All good efforts, however, I think the damage is already done and it seems Twitter really does not like snitches.

Le’Veon Bell Goes in on Skip Bayless in New Diss Track “Shrimp Bayless”

There are some sports commentators that people just love to hate. Stephen A. Smith, Charles Barkley, Colin Cowherd (top of my list). The people who sit comfortably in a studio, makeup plastered across their face, and just go in on any and every athlete in a demonstrably contentious fashion. Well one such person just got called out in the best of ways.

Skip Bayless, who now has his own show Undisputed to talk trash to anyone and everyone he can find, has had a few choice words for Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell. And as it turns out, Bell (one of, in not the, greatest running backs in the game) didn’t take too kindly to the armchair quarterback’s criticism.

And so Bell, who also goes by the rap name “Juice,” decided to clap back at Bayless in a newly released diss track tearing into the annoying talk show personality.

“Shrimp Bayless, I been hearing you lately. You love Jerry way too much you actin like y’all related. I got the Hall of Fame waiting, I’m the best and you hate it. I don’t know why you hate it. I don’t know why you hate me. Probably cause my name is mentioned close with some of the greatest. And then they talk about patience, you close to testing my patience. You say whatever for ratings.”

Now, this isn’t Bell’s first venture into rapping. In fact, Juice recorded his first track when he was just 13-years-old. And while his future in the NFL is not in jeopardy, Bell told XXL, “I just didn’t want to limit myself to being on the field. Making music is something I’ve always wanted to do. I guess I kind of went public with everything.”

In fact, you can check out his EP Until the Post Interview right now on XXL. If this track is any indication, though, homeboy might actually have a career outside of football when the time does come.

But the real question is, who’s better? Juice, or NBA star Damian Lillard’s Dame D.O.L.L.A?

When Marshawn Lynch decided to retire at the end of last season, many people (myself included) greeted the news with a sense of surprise. He was healthy, still one of the best backs in the league, and just one year prior was one bad play call away from a Super Bowl title. And yet, he did retire, stepping away from the game but not out of the limelight.

Turns out, Lynch is a hilarious man and has found a way to live his post-retirement life still entertaining the masses, although now in a much different manner. There was his cameo appearance on FX’s fantasy football series The League, he and Gronk battled Conan O’brien to the death in the Clueless Gamer series, and now, he’s taken his talents abroad as he went to Scotland to spread the word about the upcoming Super Bowl matchup between the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons.

And his journey across the pond is just as entertaining and hilarious as his other post-NFL appearances. Super Bowl LI (51, for anyone not from the Roman Empire) is taking place in Houston, Texas next Sunday (Feb. 5), so it only makes sense that Lynch would travel to Houston to hype the big game. Houston, Scotland, that is.

In the hilarious 3-minute video (below), Lynch is seen talking to locals about the upcoming game, learning a bit more about Scottish culture (never does rock the kilt, though), and handing out an exorbitant amount of his go-to snack, Skittles. Watch for yourself.

As much as every rumor of a Lynch return to the NFL excites me, I’m loving his life post-football. And if he keeps entertaining in this kind of hilarious fashion, I’m A-OK with him cutting his NFL career short.

Azealia Banks Meets Her Match, Gets Into Instagram Beef With Rihanna Over Donald Trump’s Controversial “Muslim Ban”

Every other week Azealia Banks decides it’s a good idea to make a completely insane statement or slam another celebrity. Well she finally met her match after she went after Rihanna, and you know “bad girl” RiRi is never too busy to be a little petty.

Like many Americans and celebs, Rihanna spoke out against President Donald Trump’s executive order which banned people from seven (predominantly Muslim) countries from entering the United States. The order has been labeled a “Muslim ban,” which is unconstitutional.

Banks, a Trump supporter, immediately responded to Rihanna’s post on Instagram and defended the ban and Trump. She wrote in part:

The ban on Muslims is a precautionary measure. As far as Rihanna (who isn’t a citizen, and can’t vote) and all the rest of the celebrities who are using their influence to stir the public, you lot really REALLY need to shut up and sit down. Stop chastising the president.

This started a back and forth between the two, with Rihanna posting memes and alluding to Banks’ alleged chicken sacrifices and Banks continuing to rant. They even posted each other’s phone numbers, which have now been disconnected.

Of course, most of Banks’ post have since been deleted. But just give her a few weeks (or days) and she will go off on anther Instagram rant or target another celebrity because the rapper can’t get any attention through with her music. It probably just won’t be Rihanna.

How Did Lee “Q” O’Denat Die? WorldStarHipHop Founder/Owner’s Cause of Death Revealed

WorldStarHipHop founder/CEO Lee “Q” O’Denat was reportedly found dead in his San Diego, California home Monday night (Jan. 23). The news, which was revealed today, has shocked the internet and Hip Hop world, and many are asking, “How Did Q from World Star die?” or “What was Q from World Star’s cause of death?”

According to TMZ, Lee O’Denat, also known simply as “Q,” died in his sleep from a heart attack. O’Denat did not respond to CPR efforts and was pronounced dead on the scene. Autopsy results reportedly listed “obesity” as a contributing condition to his death.

Q founded WorldStarHipHop in 2005 as a website for rap mixtapes, but it quickly grew into a home for viral video content, including fight videos, mashups, music videos and breaking news stories.

Though known predominately for its fight videos and (at times) questionable content, WorldStarHipHop — also known as “WORLD STAR!!!” (as can be heard in the controversial fight videos) — transformed hip hop and popular culture and is still known as the most popular “urban” site on the internet, receiving millions of pageviews per day.

The impact of WorldStarHipHop was so huge that Russell Simmons and Paramount Pictures were reportedly working on a movie about its origins in 2014, and earlier this month, MTV announced that a TV show called “World Star TV” would debut on MTV2 on February 3rd.

The show will feature correspondents and “cultural tastemakers” providing “laugh-out-loud commentary on some of the funniest clips from the award-winning digital destination,” according to MTV.

Before his sudden death, Q, who was the face of WorldStar, had “been going HAM in the gym and on the treadmill — sometimes at 5 a.m.,” TMZ reported:

People close to him say he was over 300 lbs. at his heaviest, but had been trying to shed weight to look his best for his new MTV reality show … slated to premiere in the Spring.

The show revolved around 43-year-old Q, his website’s crazy videos and celebrity guest appearances. We’re told Q had been telling friends how insanely busy he’d been juggling the show and his new gym life.

Some shocking news has rocked the internet and Hip Hop community: Lee “Q” O’Denat, best known as the owner and founder of WorldStarHipHop, has died.

According to TMZ, Q died in his sleep Monday night (Jan. 23). He was 43 years old.

Tika Sumpter Is Engaged! Fiancé Rumored to be “The Haves and the Have Nots” Co-Star Nick James

Tika Sumpter sure knows how to keep a secret. The actress just revealed she is engaged!

Sumpter appeared on the Monday (Jan. 23) broadcast of The Real. Co-host Loni Love couldn’t help but notice the rock on Sumpter’s ring finger and asked if she was engaged.

“Yeah! Yeah, I’m engaged!” Sumpter confirmed.

The Southside with You actress revealed her fiancé proposed on Christmas day and noted the moment was “simple” and “awesome.” She explained, the beau sent her on a scavenger hunt (which tipped her off to the proposal), but the hunt lead to her Christmas present instead.

However, he then said their two-month-old daughter had something to say. Hidden behind baby Ella was a handwritten note that Sumpter described as “a letter of beauty” and he popped the question.

Sumpter told the hosts the ring had “been burning a hole in his pocket for a while,” but he was just waiting for the perfect moment.

So, the actress has been engaged for a whole month and didn’t tell anybody (at least not the public/her fans). In recent months, she’s become the master a keeping her private life private. If you recall, she hid her pregnancy for months and still hasn’t officially revealed the name of the father. She gave birth to Ella-Loren in November.

Though it has not been publicly confirmed who Sumpter’s fiancé/baby daddy is, the few pieces of the puzzle we have all point to her The Haves and the Have Nots co-star, Nick James. The two have been in a relationship for two years and have both posted pics of a newborn on their respective Instagram pages.

Congrats to the newly engaged couple!
