Cardi B Riles Up Twitter With “I Want Food Stamps!!” Tweet

Cardi B is known for her bubbly personality and off the cuff humor, but that doesn’t stop her from receiving criticism from others who feel “offended” by her “jokes.”

Earlier today, the pregnant rapper participated in the viral social media trend of “I don’t care how rich I get…” or “IDGAF how much money I make…” where people say a similar statement followed by something people who are struggling financially do.

Example: “I don’t care how rich I get, I’m never putting more than $5 in my gas tank” or “IDGAF how much money I make, I’m not putting my bills on auto draft.”

Cardi B’s version can be seen below:

The tweet was met with the typical reactions of triggered folks who aren’t hip to the “Bodak Yellow” rapper’s humor, as well as tweets from fans defending her.

“I’m sorry but no, there are people who are in desperate need of that assistance, and you are [not] one of them,i love you to death cardi, but that isnt funny,” one Twitterer wrote. D”amn girl I’m sure it was a joke. It’s ok to laugh sometimes….” replied another.

Meek Mill Bails on White House Prison Reform Summit After Late Night Call from JAY-Z

Meek Mill skipped out on the chance to discuss prison reform with President Trump at the White House. And a late-night phone call from JAY-Z may have influenced the Philadelphia rapper’s decision.

Meek—who was released from jail on bail last month—was scheduled to participate in a prison reform summit hosted at the White House on Friday (May 18). The summit included Trump, members of Congress, activists, and victims of the flawed U.S. criminal justice system.

However, Meek abruptly backed out of the meeting, fearing his presence would distract from the true intention of improving the criminal justice system. Meek said in a statement:

“I was originally scheduled to be part of a panel on Prison Reform at the White House to help shed light on the issues within the system. Unfortunately, the focus turned to the President and myself which concerned me that it might take away from creating a positive result from today’s discussions.

“As a result, I decided not to attend so that the focus would be solely on fixing our prison system. Most importantly, I remain fully committed to improving our criminal justice system.”

TMZ earlier reported that JAY-Z called Meek Thursday night and told him that meeting with Trump would potentially “be problematic for [Meek’s] image and for the cause.”

Though this late-night convo with Jay could have influenced Meek to say no to 45, he reportedly sought advice from several black celebrities, and a rep for the rapper says he made the decision on his own.

“I wanted to make it clear that TMZ’s report was false that Jay convinced Meek not to attend. Meek made that decision on his own.”

A rep for JAY-Z also tells TMZ that he “did not force or even convince Meek to cancel the White House trip.”

During Friday’s summit, Trump touted “personal accountability” and condemned “those who take advantage of society’s generosity” when discussing inmate rehabilitation and recidivism.

“However, if we want more prisoners to take charge of their own lives then we should work to give them the tools to stand on their own two feet,” he added.

Comprehensive prison reform bills are currently being pushed in the Senate and House. The House bill—backed by the Trump Administration—would provide $50 million for prisons to implement job training and education programs. Critics argue the bill doesn’t do enough.

The Senate bill, however, has bipartisan support.

Meek Mill’s recent 5-month stint in jail sparked a national debate last year. The rapper was sentenced two to four years in prison for probation violations stemming from his 2008 drug and gun convictions—a sentence that many, including prosecutors in the case, felt was too severe.

Celebrities like JAY-Z and fans rallied behind Meek Mill while he was in jail.

Dimitrios Pagourtzis: 17-Year-Old Santa Fe High School Shooting Suspect Yelled “Surprise!” Before Opening Fire

17-year-old Dimitrios Pagourtzis has been identified as the suspect from the Santa Fe High School shooting that left at least 10 people dead and 12 injured Friday (May 18).

Initial reports stated that eight people were killed, however, that number eventually rose to 10, with officials saying that nine students and one adult were among the fatalities.

Pagourtzis is currently being held at Galveston County Jail on charges of capital murder without bond and additional charges may follow, the Galveston County Sheriff’s office says.

According to CNN, a second possible suspect, an 18-year-old who police called a “person of interest,” was detained at the scene in relation to the shooting and is being investigated as a possible accomplice. His or her name hasn’t been released.

Here’s what you need to know about Dimitrios Pagourtzis and the Santa Fe High School shooting:

1Dimitrios Pagourtzis reportedly yelled “surprise!” before opening fire.

According to a Fox 26 reporter, a student said that Dimitrios Pagourtzis shouted “surprise!” as he burst into a first-period art class and started shooting.

At least 10 people—nine students and one teacher—were killed in the shooting. Some reports note 12 people were injured, while others say 10 were injured.

A female student at the school described the confusion she felt even after hearing the gunshots. “I was sitting in my classroom and I heard really loud booms,” she said. “I didn’t know what they were at first and then I realized what they were when I heard screaming.”

Other students reported seeing victims with gunshot wounds.

Authorities said a substitute teacher pulled a fire alarm when he realized what was going on in an effort to alert others of the dire situation at the large campus. Aerial footage from the scene showed students lining up outside the school and emptying their backpacks.

A sophomore described the situation as “chaos” once the fire alarm sounded and people found out there was an active shooter on campus. 16-year-old John Robinson said he was in his first period English class when he heard the fire alarm go off.

“Everybody was just trying to get away from the school. They kept saying there was a shooter, people were shot,” Robinson told KHOU 11 News. He said he felt scared and simply wanted to get as far away as possible from the school.

2Pagourtzis was reportedly armed with a sawed-off shotgun, a .38 revolver and was also allegedly carrying pipe bombs, which were found at the school and off campus.

Initial reports about the shooting indicated Pagourtzis was armed with a sawed-off shotgun, a .38 revolver and was also carrying pipe bombs. Witnesses have said they saw Pagourtzis, who was wearing a trench coat in 90-degree weather, with a duffel bag. Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said a news conference Friday afternoon that the shooting suspect was hiding a shotgun underneath his trench coat.

Police said explosive devices (pipe bombs and pressure-cooker bombs) were found both inside and around the school building, which is located about 30 miles southeast of Houston.

Officers also searched property related to the suspect for bombs, according to reports, including a trailer in Alvin, Texas about three miles from the school belonging to Pagourtzis’ mother. Police also reportedly searched a second home about four miles away from the school.

3Dimitrios Pagourtzis posted a photo of a t-shirt with the words “BORN TO KILL” written across it and a jacket with Nazi symbols on Facebook.

On April 30, Dimitrios Pagourtzis shared a photo on Facebook of a t-shirt with the words “BORN TO KILL” in all caps written across it. According to a CW39 report, witnesses who described the suspect as “quiet” and “kept to himself” saw him wearing that same “Born to Kill” shirt and “army boots.”

According to Pagourtzis’ now-deleted Facebook page, he is an 11th grade student at Santa Fe High School. That page was also a source of promotion for a YouTube channel which he posted to under the pseudonym “Comma Kazi.” The channel, which has 240 subscribers, features three uploaded videos of various rap songs, with the last update posted in 2013.

Another photo posted on Pagourtzis’ Facebook page showed a jacket with icons including Nazi symbols. He described the medals attached to the jacket, including the “Iron Cross,” which he said stands for bravery.

Pagourtzis’ classmates told NBC News that he wore a trenchcoat to school every day, even if it was hot.

17-year-old Dustin Severin told KPRC-TV he saw Pagourtzis in the hallway before the shooting wearing what he described as his “usual outfit.” Pagourtzis told the news station, “He wears a trench coat every day, and it’s like 90 degrees out here.”

Pagourtzis once played for the Santa Fe JV football team, and in October 2016, was noted as playing “a huge role” in a 14-0 victory for the team. Ray Montemayor III, a teammate of Pagourtzis’ told the Daily Beast, “I played football with him for three years. People on the news said he was bullied a lot. I never seen him being bullied. I never bullied him. He was cool to me. I lifted with him a couple of times.”

However, Severin’s account of Pagourtzis’ alleged bullying was different. He told KPRC, “He’s been picked on by coaches before, for smelling bad and stuff like that. And he doesn’t really talk to very many people either. He keeps to himself.”

Montemayor III continued, “He was quiet. He did keep to himself. That’s pretty much it. I know he was quiet and everything but any conversations we had in the locker room or in the field or after games, he never struck me as that person.” He added that Pagourtzis “was a really cool guy.”

4A now-deleted Instagram page appearing to belong to Pagourtzis featured a photo showing a gun and combat knife.

An Instagram page that has since been deleted also appeared to belong to Pagourtzis. It only featured three photos, with one showing a handgun and combat knife, while another showed a shooting arcade video game.

The caption of the photo showing a handgun and combat knife read “Hi f**kers.” The bio section of the IG account read, “Numb.”

The Instagram account only followed 13 pages, which were all related to either guns or President Donald Trump.

Former Playboy Model Jumps From NYC Building With 7-Year-Old Son

Pictured: Stephanie Adams with her son Vincent in 2012.

A former Playboy playmate killed herself and her 7-year-old son after jumping from the top level of a hotel building in Midtown New York City Friday morning (May 18).

The New York Posts reports that 46-year-old Stephanie Adams leaped from the Gotham Hotel penthouse at 8:15 a.m. with her young son, Vincent, amid an ongoing custody battle with her ex, Vincent’s father.

Adams had reportedly been involved in a fierce legal dispute with her estranged husband, Charles Nicolai, a chiropractor who owns Wall Street Chiropractic & Wellness when she chose to end her and her son’s life.

Sources close to the estranged couple said that things were so “toxic” between the two that they would have to meet at a police station for custody exchanges to ensure that “no violence [took] place” during their meet-ups. Nicolai’s lawyer had recently demanded that Adams turn over the boy’s passport, sources said.

According to the Post, Adams and her son checked into the hotel around 6 p.m. Thursday evening and were staying in a 25th-floor penthouse suite. Their bodies were found on a second-floor landing in the hotel’s rear courtyard, NYPD Chief of Manhattan Detectives William Aubrey said at a press conference.

“Early this morning investigators located an individual whose attention was drawn to that same second-floor area when he heard two loud noises,” Aubrey said. “His attention was drawn to that and he discovered these two deceased individuals.”

It wasn’t clear whether Adams left behind a suicide note.

Adams was Playboy’s Miss November 1992 and came out as the magazine’s fist lesbian centerfold in 2003, but she later married an investment banker before becoming engaged to Nicolai in 2009. Her first marriage lasted two years.

In 2016, Adams celebrated 24 years as a Playboy model.

Michael B. Jordan Covers Essence Magazine’s “Men’s Issue,” Talks Inclusion and Empowering Women

Michael B. Jordan is serving up a healthy dose of chocolate on the cover of Essence Magazine’s June 2018 issue, which has been dubbed the “Men’s Issue.”

In his Essence cover story, the “Black Panther” star spoke to filmmaker and friend to GOT Matthew Cherry about using his platform to empower women and help solve Hollywood’s diversity issue.

Jordan said that being raised by strong women inspired him to support others, which he’s doing through his company, Outlier Society Productions.

Back in March, the actor made headlines by becoming one of the first celebrities to announce he was adopting what is known as an “inclusion rider,” which makes sure that a certain level of diversity is upheld among a project’s cast and crew.

“Actions speak louder than words. I want to lead by example,” Jordan told Essence. “I know I had an opportunity with the shows and projects I had coming up, to put it to work. It’s important to have diversity both in front of and behind the camera, and inclusion riders make sure that anyone who does business with my company knows that we expect there to be people of color, women, LGBT folks, and people with disabilities in key positions on our crews and productions staffs.”

He added, “I’m raised by strong women. Since the majority of people in power are men, when we speak up it gives them firmer ground to stand on when we support them. I’m not the poster boy for it; I’m not the guy who’s trying to get in every cause, but at the same time when they call me for help, I’m there…I’m going to be there to support them.”

LISTEN: Top Flight Security Says He Felt “Threatened” By T.I. in 911 Call

The audio from the 911 call that led to T.I.’s recent arrest has been released, and the security guard involved in the altercation told the dispatcher he felt “threatened” by the Atlanta rapper.

In a 10-minute phone call, the security guard at Eagles Landing Country Club told a 911 dispatcher early Wednesday morning (May 16) that a resident kept yelling at him and asking for his name as he knocked on the shack door. During the call, the “top flight security of the world, Craig!” acknowledged that he didn’t recognize the resident, who was later identified as Clifford Harris, better known as rapper T.I.

LISTEN TO THE 911 CALL HERE:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqghiAvglcw

Earlier this week, it was reported that T.I. was arrested near his Henry County home. The rapper was apparently unable to enter his gated community after misplacing his keys and lashed out at the guard who denied him access.

According to T.I., the guard—later identified as Euwan James—was sleeping on the job and had to be awakened. The rapper said James claimed he couldn’t find him in the resident directory, so T.I. had his wife Tiny call, and the guard eventually let him in, but not before verbally attacking Tiny, which T.I. did not appreciate.

T.I. later admitted to yelling obscenities at the guard, reminding him that he pays his salary (which you can hear in the 911 call above). T.I. also demanded the guard tell him his name, which he refused.

After arriving at his home, not too long after their initial confrontation, T.I. returned to the guard shack to confront the guard once more and asked him his name again, which the guard refused for the second time.

T.I. admitted to telling the guard “You can step outside the booth and into the street, so we can talk,” but he said had no intention of getting physical. The guard, however, felt otherwise and called 911, describing T.I. as a “black male in a striped shirt.”

According to the police report, when the cops arrived on the scene, they smelled alcohol on T.I.’s breath. The rapper admitted he had a drink before walking back to the guard’s shack, and was arrested on the spot on misdemeanor charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. He was released from the Henry County Jail around 8 a.m. Wednesday morning after posting $2,250 bond.

The rapper’s attorney, Steve Sadow, issued a statement saying that his client had been “wrongfully arrested” and the guard “refused entry without justification.” He added, “Words were exchanged and apparently the guard and/or a supervisor called the police. When the police arrived, they were not interested in hearing Tip’s side of the story and wrongfully chose to end the situation by arresting Tip.”

Video footage from the jail where T.I. was held before posting bail was released yesterday. In the video, the rapper is cool, calm and collected while going through the booking process at Henry County Jail, and he asked the arresting officer why he was being jailed. The officer told T.I. he was “acting like a fool,” which T.I. strongly denied.

T.I. said, as a tax-paying citizen and multi-million dollar homeowner, he had a right to confront the security guard working the gate, but the officer said that the guard “didn’t have to answer to [him].” The officer said T.I. “shouldn’t have come back,” a sentiment T.I. clearly disagreed.

T.I. and the cop did agree on one thing though; that it would be best to settle their differences in court.

At Least 10 Dead, Several Injured in Santa Fe High School Shooting in Texas

With just weeks left until the last day of school for many students in the U.S., law enforcement officials are reporting that at least 10 people were killed after a shooter opened fire at Santa Fe High School in Texas.

Federal and local law enforcement told local media that a suspect is in custody and at least 10 fatalities have been confirmed—nine students and one teacher—and an officer, as well as multiple students, were injured.

According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzales, the suspected shooter is a 17-year-old male student, and a second person detained after the shooting is also believed to be a student at the school.

At least 12 people from the shooting are being treated at various Texas hospitals. Seven people are being treated at Clear Lake Regional Medical in Webster, two patients are being treated at Mainland Medical Center in Texas City, and three others are at John Sealy Hospital in Galveston.

According to CNN, “we’re only 20 weeks into 2018, and there have already been 22 school shootings where someone was hurt or killed,” which “averages out to more than one shooting a week.”

The Santa Fe School District first warned the public of threats of an “active shooter” at the high school around 9:20 a.m. EST (round 8:20 a.m. local time) and a lockdown was immediately initiated. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) confirmed that they were responding to the reported shooting just before 9:30 a.m. EST.

According to an eyewitness account provided to ABC 13, the gunman entered a classroom and began shooting what appeared to be a shotgun.

One student told CNN the shooting happened after what seemed like a fire drill. Apparently, someone pulled the fire alarm to alert everyone in the school and get them out of the building.

“So, it was just a normal-like class day. We all were doing our work in first period. And then all of a sudden like it’s a fire drill,” 14-year-old Angelica Martinez said. “So we followed the fire drill procedures. And then we went outside. Like we were all standing there, but not even five minutes later, we all start hearing gunshots.” She said that’s when everyone started running, despite teachers telling them to “stay put.”

Shaken students told a local NBC affiliate they heard several shots ring out after a fire alarm went off just before 8 a.m.

“I was sitting in my classroom and I heard really loud booms, but I really didn’t know what they were at first,” student Dakota Shrader said. “Then, I realized what they were when I heard screaming.” Shrader added through tears, “Nobody knew what to do. There was nothing we could do but run.”

Students reported that the shooting happened in an art class.

“I shouldn’t be going through this, it’s my school, this is my daily life,” an unnamed student told ABC News outside the school, crying. “I shouldn’t have to feel like that, and I feel scared to even go back.”

After the building was evacuated, explosive devices (pipe bombs and pressure cookers) were found at the school and off campus. Chief Walter Braun of Santa Fe Independent District School Police urged community members to be on alert for any suspicious devices, and call 911 if they found anything suspicious.

Galveston County Judge Mark Henry added that authorities did find “suspect material” off campus, and warned people, “Anything you see, please do not touch it.”

According to a law enforcement source, investigators said they were searching a nearby trailer where it is believed IEDs were assembled.

Speaking at an unrelated event, President Donald Trump spoke about the shooting at Santa Fe High School. He said shootings like today’s have “been going on too long in our country” and said his administration was “determined to do everything in our power to protect our students, secure our schools, and to keep weapons out of the hands of those who pose a threat to themselves, and to others.”

Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos just a statement on the shooting, saying that schools must be “safe and nurturing environments for learning” and “no student should have to experience the trauma suffered by so many today and in similar events prior.”

She added, “We simply cannot allow this trend to continue… Our nation must come together and address the underlying issues that lead to such tragic and senseless loss of life.”

WATCH: Man Quits Popeyes Job By Singing “I Don’t Really Wanna Work Here No More” in Hilarious Viral Video

For most people, quitting their jobs is usually as easy as simply not showing up to work or submitting a resignation letter. But for one man, those methods of saying “I Quit!” were just too basic for him.

UPDATE: Kansas City Man Who “Quit” Popeyes By Singing in Viral Video Admits the Whole Thing Was Fake

Instead, he recorded a video, in which he strolls through a Popeyes restaurant singing “I Don’t Really Wanna Work Here No More”—a remix to Big Pun and Joe’s “Still Not A Player,” which features the lyrics, “I don’t wanna be a player no more.”

The clip, which was originally uploaded to Facebook and YouTube on Tuesday (May 15) and posted on Twitter the next day, became an instant viral hit. On Facebook, it has so far racked up more than 2 million views, and on Twitter, it has been seen a little over 4 million times, with nearly 120,000 retweets and 250,000 likes.

“I’m outside my job, I’m ready to quit this mug bro,” the man says to the camera. “I’m tired of this muhf**ka bro. Listen, I come in here and slave all the time They think I’m about to just go in there and be like, ‘I quit, I quit. Nah, n**ga, I’m about to go in there and sing this sh*t.”

And that’s exactly he did. Armed with a portable mic and speaker system, the man walked right into Popeye’s and quit his damn job in the most hilarious way possible.

“So I got an announcement… I’m quitting my job today,” he said before breaking out into song. “I don’t really want to work here no more,” the man melodically sang over the beat while customers chuckled and whipped out their phones to record the moment. “I quit!” he yells after singing and rapping for nearly two straight minutes.

Perhaps the best moments of the video came when this guy—a Popeyes employee—danced in front of the camera. Twice:

I love us. FOR REAL.

Young King Dave Cause of Death: How Did the “I Got Loud” Guy Die?

Young King Dave (aka “YKD”), who was known on the internet for his “I Got Loud” viral video, has died. According to close sources, he passed away on Thursday (May 17). He was 19 years old.

Because Young King Dave (real name: David James Nixon) was so young, a lot of people are wondering how he died.

Young King Dave Dead: Fast Facts About the Internet’s Most Famous Stoner

While YKD’s official cause of death hasn’t been revealed, according to his manager and childhood friend Chris Clemenza, he had been hospitalized for the past few weeks after suffering from a collapsed lung.

Clemenza told Motherboard that the internet sensation, who famously coined the term “doinks” (a nickname for large joints/blunts), “died from complications during recovery.”

A friend of Young King Dave’s wrote on Instagram that Dave had “an infection that he let go too long for stupid reasons. But it got so bad they had to put him in a medically induced coma. Then he died.”

It’s sad to know that the same thing that made YKD famous was possibly behind his cause of death. In his last Instagram post, which was shared on March 17th, two months before he died, he said in the video while puffing on a joint, “Yo, I be smoking so much loud, I get out of breath, my guy!”

“I be having to drink water and sh*t, I swear,” he added after trying to suppress a cough. He then took a drink of some water before saying, “All this cotton mouth is really gettin’ to me!”

Young King Dave was a resident of Middleton, New Jersey and had dreams of becoming a rapper.

He became famous on social media after a video went viral, in which he said, “It’s f**kin nice out! Who’s down to chill and smoke some loud, feel me? I got loud. Hit my line!” The phrase “I Got Loud” went on to become an internet meme.

His Instagram bio was changed on Thursday to announce his death: “With deep regret we would like to inform you that YKD passed away and is at peace. He will be greatly missed. #doinkinpeace.”

A GoFundMe page has been set up by Dave’s family to help them with funeral expenses.

“David James, A.K.A YKD, passed away May 17th, 2018,” wrote family member Jonathan Nixon. “We are deeply saddened by this loss and he will be greatly missed. He was a very special person with a big heart and a great sense of humor. We remember all the good times and how he made us smile and are very grateful for all the prayers and well wishes of friends and family. All proceeds will go to his funeral expense and David’s favorite charity, Make a Wish Foundation.”

The Royal Family Has Made a “Huge Mistake” Ahead of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Wedding

With just over 24 hours left until Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s big royal wedding, a top etiquette expert has pointed out that the British royal family has made a “huge mistake” in the days leading up to the big day.

According to William Hanson, the royal family’s mistake was that they have not sent a member of the household to see Meghan’s dad before the wedding, noting to Page Six that this “fiasco” is “what happens when the royal household is not used to commoners marrying into the family.”

Hanson stressed how important it was for Meghan, 36, to “learn how to behave” from her future sister-in-law and fellow commoner, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (aka “Kate Middleton”).

From Page Six:

“My heart bleeds for Meghan, it’s not really what she’s banked on. I do think it’s interesting, one of the issues seen this week with members of royalty marrying commoners, is that when you marry someone who has not grown up in this environment, no matter how bright and intelligent they may be, it can be disconcerting and accidents can happen.

“The royal household should have sent someone out to talk to Mr. Markle immediately and others in Meghan’s family. But that didn’t happen — and it has blown up in their faces.

“When Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, married Prince William, the Middleton family were much more attuned to their position, what they had to do and what was expected of them.

“Prior to royalty marrying commoners, they married other royals, whether British or European, or aristocrats. These unions were often loveless and didn’t do too particularly well, but you know what to do and how to behave — it’s part of their breeding.”

As Prince Harry and Meghan turned up in Windsor Thursday for a rehearsal and tea with the Queen, Hanson added there is the problem of dealing with the British class system.

“In America, the class system is celebrity and our royal family have taken on celebrity status, but they are a level above this and should be held to higher standards.”

Hanson said that former “Suits” actress Meghan will have been hopefully taking “princess lessons” from the Duchess of Cambridge. He adds she has already refined her public dress sense — even wearing the required pantyhose at formal events

“There isn’t really a duchess or princess finishing school … so it is a lot of learning as you go, on the job. Just like Catherine — who took advice from Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall — Meghan will have been talking to those who have done this and got the tiara before her,” he says.

“Meghan is very independent, very headstrong and I would hope she would not be too headstrong or stubborn to accept or listen to this advice. I hope that she does listen to her new relatives, as well as Harry and members of ‘blood royalty.’”

On Thursday, Meghan released a statement confirming that her father, Thomas Markle, would not be at the wedding following a photos-for-cash scandal, as he recovered from heart surgery.

And when asked what the etiquette is for who should walk Meghan down the aisle Saturday, Hanson picked her mother, Doria Ragland, over Prince Charles or William, adding, “It has to be her mother, because it is symbolic, you are passing the bride over to her new family.”

Although Meghan’s warmth and tactile behavior has endeared her to many Brits, Hanson stressed that she must take a “gently, gently” approach, saying she can’t continue to be so informal, and adding, “If she starts ripping up the rule book from day one, it’s going to be a recipe for disaster.

“This is an institution that has been going on longer than any of us and will continue to do so. Meghan needs to remember she is a small cog in a very old machine. She has to remember it’s not about her — it’s about the causes she is going to be championing, her own personal beliefs are irrelevant.

“Although she can do a huge amount of good with her profile, and I think she is going to open up the monarchy — not just in the UK but around the world — she can’t do it all at once, it has to be gently, gently, softly, softy.”

However, he said that compared to the Duchess of Cambridge, Meghan has a more relaxed role — simply because Prince Harry is now sixth in line to the throne with the recent birth of Prince Louis.

“Catherine has got a different role, she’s got a harder task, as she has got to be remembered, but can’t do anything that she’ll be remembered too much for. It’s the same act the Queen has perfected.

“People feel fantastically connected to her, catching a glimpse of what she said is a thrill, but nothing you ever said can be remembered.”

The good thing, Hanson says, is that Prince Harry now has a purpose in life with charities and his Invictus Games, which will help avoid any issues.

“With Harry and Meghan, they can be a little bit more relaxed,” he said.

Yikes! Sounds like marrying into the British royal family is a lot of work, especially for “commoners.”

The royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will take place around noon UK time (7:00 a.m. EST) on Saturday, May 19, 2018 in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in England.

Prince Harry’s older brother, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, will serve as the ceremony’s best man. Meghan Markle will not have a maid of honor, and the bridesmaids and page boys will all be children.

Coverage of the royal wedding will air all over the world. In the UK, coverage will air on BBC One, ITV, Sky News and Sky One.

In the United States, the wedding’s coverage will air on CBS, NBC, ABC, E!, PBS, BBC America, TLC, FOX, and HBO. CBS will broadcast the wedding in canada, while TVNZ and SBS will air it in New Zealand and Australia respectively.

Young King Dave, the Internet’s Most Famous Stoner, Dead at 19

Young King Dave, best known as one of the internet’s most famous stoners, died Thursday (May 17) at the young age of 19 years old.

Motherboard reports that the viral sensation—famous for his videos that showed him smoking weed or “doinks” (as he called them) and making observations about the world around him—had been hospitalized for the past few weeks after suffering from a collapsed lung. YKD’s manager and childhood friend Chris Clemenza told Motherboard that the internet star “died from complications during recovery.”

A friend of Young King Dave’s wrote on Instagram that he had “an infection that he let go too long for stupid reasons. But it got so bad they had to put him in a medically induced coma. Then he died.”

Young King Dave (real name: David James Nixon) was a resident of Middleton, New Jersey. His Instagram bio was changed on Thursday to announce his death: “With deep regret we would like to inform you that YKD passed away and is at peace. He will be greatly missed. #doinkinpeace.”

Here’s what you need to know about Young King Dave:

1Young King Dave said he was 12 years old when he started smoking weed.

Mass Appeal released a documentary about Young King David back in October 2017. In the film, YKD revealed that he started smoking weed at the tender age of 12 when someone offered him and his brother a joint.

YKD went on to say that he had encountered some rough times growing up in Middleton, NJ. He said he had gotten into a bunch of fights and had been cut with a knife before. YKD noted that everyone in Middleton “respects” him and those who don’t “get beat the f**k up.”

2YKD is credited for coming up with the nickname “Doink” for big joints.

Young King Dave is credited as the inventor of the word “Doink,” which is a nickname for a large joint. He became a viral internet sensation in 2016 after a video in which he tried to find someone to smoke weed with him went viral.

In January 2017, in another video that went viral, YKD said, “It’s f**kin nice out! Who’s down to chill and smoke some loud, feel me? I got loud. Hit my line!”

Chris Clemenza told Motherboard that it was a running joke that YKD didn’t understand why people loved his videos so much, but Clemenza said YKD always wanted to be famous and make people laugh.

“He said he knew it would happen, his whole life,” Clemenza said. “I grew up with him so I know he was always trying to rap and do the same things he was doing before he was famous.”

As for his legacy, Clemenza jokingly said, “They’re gonna remember him for doinks! He knew how to make everyone laugh and make their day better no matter what it was… He was always so happy and filled with joy, he just knew how to make me laugh.”

In September 2017, AV Club ran a feature about YKD with the headline, “God bless this big, weed-loving boy.” The piece highlighted Dave’s chill social media presence and a recent visit to Amish country:

“May he never change, and his doinks burn slow,” the AV Club article concluded.

His last video on Instagram was posted on exactly two months ago on March 17th. The caption read: “PSA #1 :You ever smoke some doink and then get crazy cottonmouth !?”

3Young King Dave was an aspiring rapper.

Like most viral internet sensations, Young King Dave was trying to parlay his social media fame into a music career.

The Motherboard article announcing his passing noted that he was “pursuing a rap career” and had “made music with his friends.”

YKD’s SoundCloud page is here. In January, he tweeted, “Music promoters. HIT ME UP.”

Back in 2015, long before he became a viral internet star, WorldStarHipHop featured him a short video meme.

In March 2018, he released a music video for a new song called “Taking Dabs.” Last year, he dropped a video for “Mask Off DoinkMix,” a remix to Future’s hit single “Mask Off.”

4A GoFundMe page has been created to help YKD’s family pay for funeral arrangements.

Young King Dave’s family has set up a GoFundMe page to help the Nixon family with funeral expenses.

A man named Jonathan Nixon started the page. He wrote:

“David James, A.K.A YKD, passed away May 17th, 2018. We are deeply saddened by this loss and he will be greatly missed. He was a very special person with a big heart and a great sense of humor. We remember all the good times and how he made us smile and are very grateful for all the prayers and well wishes of friends and family. All proceeds will go to his funeral expense and David’s favorite charity, Make a Wish Foundation.”

At the time of writing this article, the page had raised nearly $6,000 of its $10,000 goal by almost 300 people in 10 hours.

5“RIP Young Dave” was a trending topic on Twitter early Thursday and people have been paying tribute to YKD on social media ever since.

As news of Young King Dave’s untimely death spread, a number of social media users paid tribute by writing, “RIP Young Dave,” which became a trending topic early Thursday.

Whitney Houston Was Molested By Dionne Warwick’s Sister Dee Dee, Family & Friends Claim in New Documentary (VIDEO)

A new documentary authorized by Whitney Houston’s estate reveals the heartbreaking revelation that Whitney was sexually abused by her cousin Dee Dee Warwick—the sister of the legendary Dionne Warwick.

In “Whitney,” which was made with the cooperation of Houston’s family, the singer’s longtime assistant Mary Jones tells filmmaker Kevin Macdonald that the late singer told her that Dee Dee molested her at a very young age.

Houston’s own brother, Gary Garland-Houston, also says he was molested between the ages of 7 and 9 by Dee Dee, and believed his late sister was abused as well.

Dee Dee Warwick, who was 18 years Houston’s senior, died in 2008, four years before Houston died in a bathtub, which was in part caused by heart disease and drug use, according to a coroner’s report.

The shocking revelations come about three-fourths quarters of the way into the film, and immediately cast a new light on Houston’s troubled life.

Jones claims that being molested by her older cousin made Whitney question her own sexuality and contributed to her problems with alcohol and drug abuse, though Whitney never spoke publicly about her own alleged drug abuse.

Jones says in the documentary, “I think she was ashamed… she used to say, ‘I wonder if I did something to make [Dee Dee] think I wanted her.’ I said, ‘Stop. A predator is a predator is a predator.’ If Cissy had known, she would have done something about it, because Cissy loves her children.'”

“We always wanted our film to be a corrective to that tabloid story,” said producer Simon Chinn. “These are specific revelations that I think will get people to a deeper understanding of who Whitney was and in many ways redeem her as a person.”

Dee Dee Warwick was the niece of Whitney’s mother, Cissy Houston. Dee Dee and her sister Dionne would sometimes sing in Cissy Houston’s gospel group, the Drinkard Sisters. Dee Dee Warwick, who earned two Grammy Award nominations in her career, also sang backup for Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin and others.

“Whitney,” which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival Wednesday (May 16) is scheduled for a nationwide release in theaters this summer on July 7th, suggests the alleged incidents of sexual abuse took place while Cissy Houston was touring.

Because of what happened to her as a child while her mom was away touring, Whitney is said to have insisted on taking her daughter with Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina Brown, on tour with her. Bobbi Kristina died in 2015 after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub and was removed from life support following a six-month-long coma.

Kevin Macdonald, the director of “Whitney,” gave a detailed interview about how he confirmed the shocking sexual abuse allegations just weeks before he finished the film in an exclusive interview with IndieWire.

“I had a sense that there was something like that behind it,” he said. “I’d watched her a lot. There was something about her discomfort in her own skin, something about the way she presents or hides herself, her lack of overt sexuality. She’s this beautiful woman but she’s very closed in her demeanor. I’d been watching her for several months and saying to the editors, ‘There’s something about her that reminds me of something.'”

Mac Miller Arrested for DUI & Hit-and-Run After Ariana Grande Breakup

Mac Miller was arrested on DUI and hit-and-run charges early Thursday morning (May 17).

According to TMZ, the rapper was driving in California’s San Fernando Valley in his 2016 Mercedes G-Wagon when he crashed into a power pole and knocked it down around 1 a.m. PT.

Mac (real name: Malcolm James McCormick) and his two passengers reportedly exited the vehicle and fled the scene on foot. An eyewitness called 911 and told police which direction Mac and his friends went.

Cops arrived at the crash scene, ran the plates and got Mac’s address. When police showed up at Mac’s house, the 26-year-old reportedly confessed to driving drunk and fleeing the scene.

“He was the most polite and nice intoxicated person we’ve ever seen,” a law enforcement source told TMZ.

The “Dang!” rapper was arrested and taken to jail before being released around 9:30 a.m. PT. His bail was set at $15,000.

TMZ captured footage of Miller walking out of jail in Van Nuys Thursday, but the rapper—who had a shirt covering his face—didn’t want to be seen and refused to talk to reporters.

From TMZ:

Our camera guy asks the hard questions. Why did he allegedly bail from the crash site? How much had he had to drink? What did he say to cops to get a glowing suspect review? And is this in any way related to his recent split from Ariana Grande? Mac was having none of it … although, we did get a groan out of him. Talk about no comment.

News of Mac Miller’s arrest comes one week after he and Ariana Grande broke up after nearly two years together. Grande opened up about the seemingly amicable split in a message she shared on Instagram last Thursday (May 10).

“Hi! This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet malcolm mccormick,” Grande captioned a photo of herself cuddling with the rapper. “I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us! Unconditional love is not selfish. It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it’s not you. I can’t wait to know and support you forever and i’m so proud of you!!”

Offset Hospitalized After Car Crash in Atlanta, Dodge Challenger Totaled (PHOTO)

Migos rapper Offset was hospitalized last night in Atlanta after getting into a pretty bad car accident.

According to TMZ, the rapper—who is currently expecting a child with his fiancée Cardi B—wrecked his green Dodge Challenger late Wednesday night in ATL and had to be taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

Offset has since been released and is expected to be OK, however, based on photos from the crash scene, his car won’t be, because it looks like it was TOTALED.

TMZ’s sources say Cardi B rushed to be by Offset’s side after she found out about the accident.

According to officials, no cops or emergency workers were called to the scene of the crash, and no accident report was taken. Offset’s wrecked vehicle was towed away after the crash, which seemed to have been a one-person collision because no one called police.

Offset and Cardi are expected to welcome their first child together sometime this summer. But they won’t be able to spend much time together as a family after Cardi gives birth, because Cardi’s tour with Bruno Mars kicks off in September, and Migos are hitting the road with Drake for their tour beginning at the end of July.

Cardi B just released a new single with Jennifer Lopez and DJ Khaled called “Dinero,” which she has been tweeting about all day, though she’s said nothing about Offset’s wreck, which hopefully means that all really is well with him.

WATCH: T.I. Argues With Cop Over Why He Was Arrested in Video Footage from Jail

New video footage has been released from inside the jailhouse where T.I. was held after being arrested early Wednesday morning (May 16) near his home in Henry County, Georgia. The jailhouse security footage shows T.I. arguing with a police officer as he asks the cop to explain why they arrested him.

Mugshot Madness: T.I. Arrested Near Georgia Home for “Public Drunkenness” & “Disorderly Conduct” After Misplacing Keys

T.I. was jailed Wednesday after he got into a verbal altercation with a security guard outside his gated community. According to reports, the rapper had lost his key to enter the neighborhood, in which he owns a multi-million dollar property with his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris, and the guard would not let him through.

“shouldn’t have come back,” a sentiment T.I. clearly disagrees with.

Frustrated, T.I. reminded the officer that he still didn’t answer his question as to why he was arrested, and the cop responded, “I’ll answer in court.” T.I. said, at that point, he would be speaking to his lawyer, and the cop said, “that’d be awesome” just before the video ends.

According to T.I.’s version of events, the guard was sleeping and T.I. had to wake him up. He said the guard claimed he couldn’t find him on the resident directory, so T.I. had Tiny call. He said she asked what the hold-up was and said, “Just let him in.” T.I. said the guard yelled at Tiny and asked her “Who the f**k do you think you is talking to me like this?”

T.I. said that pissed him off, and he admits to yelling obscenities at the guard, reminding him that he pays his salary. After arguing with the guard for some time, T.I. was eventually allowed to enter the gated community. T.I. then demanded the guard tell him his name so that he could report him to a supervisor, and the guard refused, so T.I. went on about his way.

Not too long afterward, feeling some type of way about the interaction, T.I. returned to confront the security guard once more after he had been let in and asked him for his name again, and the guard refused once again.

T.I. admitted to telling the guard “You can step outside the booth and into the street, so we can talk,” however, he said had no intention of getting physical. Feeling threatened at that point, the guard called the police, and T.I. heard him give the following description: “Yes, a black male right in front of me in a striped shirt.”

According to the police report, when the cops arrived on the scene, they smelled alcohol on T.I.’s breath. T.I. admitted he had a drink before walking back to the guard’s shack, and was arrested on the spot on misdemeanor charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. He was released from the Henry County Jail around 8 a.m. Wednesday morning after posting $2,250 bond.

T.I.’s upset over the incident because the responding officers spoke to the guard and his supervisor privately, then handcuffed him and hauled him off to jail without even asking his side of the story or looking at the surveillance footage from the property to confirm what really happened.

Overall, T.I. says the thing that upset him the most was the fact that the guard, who is Black, never revealed his name nor accepted responsibility for falling asleep on the job and yelling at Tiny.

Mugshot Madness: T.I. Arrested Near Georgia Home for “Public Drunkenness” & “Disorderly Conduct” After Misplacing Keys

In today’s #LivingWhileBlack news, Atlanta-based rapper T.I. made a bold attempt to re-enter his gated community this morning, but upon realizing he had misplaced his keys, an argument ensued with a security guard who refused to grant him access to his own Henry County neighborhood. T.I. was eventually arrested around 4:30 a.m. early Wednesday morning (May 16).

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, T.I. (real name: Clifford Harris Jr.) was arrested on misdemeanor charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

Prior to his arrest, T.I. attempted to contact a friend, who came out to assist, but also ended up in handcuffs over an outstanding warrant. According to police, T.I.’s friend, 40-year-old Marquinarius Holmes, was arrested on outstanding charges out of Clayton County for not having proof of car insurance.

The AJC has the full story below:

The music star, whose legal name is Clifford Harris Jr., was arrested after returning to the Eagle’s Landing Country Club community in the 100 block of Eagle’s Landing Way around 4 a.m.

T.I. said he observed the security guard, Euwan James, sleeping, according to the police report.

After T.I. woke up the guard and asked to be let in because he didn’t have his keys, James initially refused, the report states. James said T.I. started using profanity and yelled at him to open the gate, the report said. James eventually opened the gate and let T.I. in, but T.I. told police James wouldn’t give him his name or his supervisor’s name when asked.

After T.I. parked his car at his home, he walked back to try to get James’ name, the report said. James said T.I. threatened him and said “come outside so we can deal with this man to man.”

The officer said in the report that he smelled “overwhelming” alcohol on T.I.’s breath, and that the rapper admitted he had a drink while walking back to the guard’s shack.

T.I. was released from the Henry County Jail around 8 a.m. Wednesday after posting $2,250 bond. He did not appear before a judge, the AJC reported.

Later Wednesday, the rapper told TheBlast.com that the county’s law enforcement presence is basically “white cops in a very white area.”

In a statement to the media, Tip’s attorney Steve Sadow said the rapper “was wrongfully arrested” and accused the guard of refusing him entry after the superstar’s wife confirmed he “should be let in immediately.” Sadow also said the police weren’t interested in hearing his client’s side of the story when they arrived on the scene and “wrongfully chose to end the situation by arresting” him.

T.I. has since addressed the arrest in an Instagram Live video while celebrating his youngest son Major’s 10th birthday, calling it “nonsense” and “small potatoes,” adding that God “will deal with the craziness.”

That White Woman Calling 911 on People for “BBQing While Black” in Oakland Has Gone Viral, and the Memes Are Hilarious AF

The internet moves very fast and pulls no punches, so it’s no surprise that the white woman who called 911 on a group of black people for the crime if “illegally BBQing” with a charcoal grill at a park in Oakland has become a hilarious viral meme.

I’m sure you’ve heard the story and seen the video, but if you haven’t, feel free to do so here. It’s a whole hoot!

The Cliffs Notes version is that a white woman with clearly too much time on her hands saw a black man setting up a charcoal grill in what she called an area that was “not designated for charcoal grills.”

She wasn’t COMPLETELY wrong, because there are areas at Lake Merritt that designated for charcoal grills, and they were in a section that wasn’t, but that is clearly beside the point. Instead of minding her own damn business and going about her day, she proceeded to call 911 and sat on hold for HOURS while she waited for someone to come to the phone to deal with her bullshit.

When the woman realized she should have just let it go, she began to cry a whole damn river in front of an officer, accusing the other woman recorded her shenanigans of “harassing” her.

The entire incident was filmed and shared online for our enjoyment, and in the days since, #BeckyCalledPoPo has become a hella viral hashtag, and I honestly have yet to see one photo that hasn’t made me cackle.

The joke is that white people love calling the police on black folks when they either see them existing or simply enjoying themselves and not bothering anyone.

I mean, they have this crazy woman calling the po-po on all kinds of famous black people, including Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the tribes of Wakanda, TLC, the cast of “Good Times,” Barack Obama, etc. She’s even calling 911 on BLACK JESUS! The list goes on (and on and on). And I promise you, every single meme will having you CRINE. Real tears, y’all.

Check out some of the best ones we’ve found (be warned, there are DOZENS and you probably should empty your bladder beforehand) below:

A White Woman Released an Unseasoned, Gentrified Version of Childish Gambino’s “This is America,” and It’s Pretty Terrible TBH

What in the unseasoned chicken, raisins in the potato salad, I’m gentrifying your neighborhoods and raising the rent, I let my kids be badasses in public kinda sh*t is this?!?

As if Taylor Swift’s remake of “September” wasn’t enough to make you resent the entire white population, Youtube personality Nicole Arbour has released her own version of Childish Gambino’s “This Is America,” and once again, wypipo have found a way to ruin another great thing created by black people (no offense white people, but it’s true).

Not only is Nicole’s ill-advised “This Is America” remake straight trash, but the choreography is typical off-beat, swag-less, unattractive, purposeless white people dancing. Just like raisins in the collards (or any other soul food dish white people want to ruin), nothing about it is good.

And the vocals are even worse….either Nicole just doesn’t have the range or she’s doing the typical white people thing where they try to mock black people or other people of color in the most annoying voice that they can come up with. In fact, at the beginning of the song, she says “Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah, go away,” and she should take her own advice and do just that.

At one point in the video, Nicole even goes so far as to attempt to moonwalk and booty pop in unflattering baggy grass cutter jeans. And the nerve of this Tomi Lahren look-a-like to be tap dancing offbeat in the video and wrote at the end of the song, “If I were a guy, you wouldn’t be asking yourself, ‘I wonder who wrote that?'” Who questioned the validity of your lyrics, ma’am? Like you were really spitting some bars… GTFOH!! (I honestly could say so much, but I’m gonna hold back because I have a lot of white friends and I actually like some white people—You know, the ones who aren’t the absolute worst.)

But, to sum it up, this version of Childish Gambino’s “This Is America” is honestly offensive and has no place in our society. I don’t know what’s worse, this song or Donald Trump being elected president, because both are really bad, tbh. Please stop the madness white people… please! We’re begging you at this point!

Tomi—err, I mean Nicole—responded to the well-deserved criticism she has been receiving over the video, and she claims to have had only good intentions.

“I thought it best to respond to the misinterpretation of my video here to clarify openly.

The purpose of my rendition was to honour the spirit of the video which absolutely moved me, by adding my and many women’s life experiences and truths to the brave and brutal truths expressed in the original.

It was created with every intention of bringing a light to women’s experiences such as the shaming of mothers breast feeding, common place date rape drugging, the labels put on us of “prude or hoe,” pressures to create a family, workplace harassment, the glass ceiling, drug dependency, effects of social media on modern relationships and self, and included a nod to the cheerleaders who have come forward demanding at least min wage from the multi million dollar corporations they work for.

It was a tongue in cheek way to give additional glory to what I believe is the most impactful piece of art in recent years.

In retrospect, due to the sensitive nature of the original, I understand why some people are wrongly portraying this as white vs black. However, this was not the intent or theme at all. We had a very diverse cast and creative team working on project from start to finish, who signed on to honour the original while adding more truth from another perspective.

I also understand my cheeky responses to hateful comments have been taken out of context, and I take full responsibility for responding to trolls in a way that could be so easily manipulated and become hurtful when reposted without context.

I firmly believe the best thing that can happen in America and North America right now is for everyone to create their own version of this video and show what life is like from their side. Through this honesty, I believe we can discover a new level of empathy and understanding for each other that will ultimately and finally lead us to healing and unity that is desperately needed in society. What can we agree on? What do we have in common? Where are we hurting? Start there, then rebuild.

Thanks so much for the continued support while I discover how to best express my ideas, comedy and art, and I appreciate your patience when I fumble while learning to maneuver within the awesome blessing that is having such a large voice.”

WATCH: White Woman Calls Police on Black People “Illegally” BBQing in Oakland Park

Damn, can black people do anything enjoyable without some melanin-deficient person with too much time on their hands calling the police?!

A white woman who called the cops on a black family last month at a park in Oakland, California while they were setting up a BBQ grill has gone viral on social media.

According to the woman, their crime was grilling using a charcoal grill instead of a “non-charcoal” grill in one of the park’s designated barbecue zones.

The incident, which occurred on April 29th at Lake Merritt in Oakland, was filmed by a witness named Michelle Snider, who confronted the woman for calling the police on the family. Police responded to the incident, but didn’t issue any citations, according to Oakland officials, though the family was detained and questioned for an entire hour.

WATCH MICHELLE SNIDER’s FULL, NEARLY 30 MINUTE VIDEO FOOTAGE HERE:

“In a city that needs significant policing services, we can’t have those precious expensive resources squandered in a frivolous way,” Oakland Councilmember Lynette Gibson McElhaney said in a statement to The Huffington Post. “Police are not private security for any white person that’s offended by the presence of black folks in our public spaces,” she added.

Snider’s video of the confrontation with the white woman went viral last Thursday after a San Francisco news station aired a segment on it. “This is exactly what is the problem with Oakland today. This lady wants to sit here and call the police on them for having a barbecue at the lake as if this is not normal,” Snider said.

A passerby named Angela Williams, who witnessed the confrontation, told the San Francisco Chronicle said she saw the white woman arguing with a black man about his grill being “illegal” as he was setting it up for a cookout with his family and friends.

Williams, who found out the man was named Onsayo Abram, tweeted about the incident and shared photos of the woman harassing the man “about bbq’ing on the lake … where everyone BBQs.”

“I proceed to tell her, ‘Hey, there’s not a posted sign. I believe I’m in the correct area. Go on about your day and leave me alone,’” Abram told the newspaper. “So she said, ‘No, I’m not gonna leave you alone. I’m gonna need you to shut this down, or I’m gonna call the police.’”

(ED. NOTE: FIRST OF ALL… B**CH WHO THE F**K DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!? Sorry, y’all, that had to be said… Keep reading for the rest of the article.)

According to the Oakland city website, Lake Merritt has six designated barbecue zones set up. Three of the zones permit charcoal grills, and the other three are designated for “non-charcoal portable grills.” Apparently, the family had a charcoal grill in the “non-charcoal zone,” but that’s honestly beside the point, because other than this crazy white lady’s feelings, it’s not like anything was harmed in the process.

Williams told HuffPost she witnessed the white woman waiting near the barbecue after confronting Abram, so she tried to intervene to defuse the tension.

“She was just close enough to be uncomfortable but far away that she wasn’t in their physical space,” she told HuffPost. “I made some innocuous conversation so she would walk away because she had a very aggressive tone,” said Williams, who described the woman as not only “aggressive,” but “curt” and “non-friendly.”

Not too long afterward, Snider, who was there for the barbecue with her husband Kenzie Smith, confronted the white woman and recorded the exchange. “Why are you so bent out of shape over them being here?” Snider asked the white woman. The white woman replied, “Because it causes extra money from our city to do things when children get injured because of improperly disposed coals.”

“I’ve seen people barbecue with charcoal for years, and I’ve never known it to be a distraction or a problem,” Abram told San Francisco’s KRON4.

“When you engage law enforcement in these kinds of things you are opening the door for things to go very wrong,” said Oakland mayoral candidate Cat Brooks, “the potential for arrests like in Philadelphia with those two black men, or worse, physical assault or death, and I don’t believe in this day and age that white folks don’t know that.”

Thankfully, the only thing injured in this situation was the woman’s feelings, because she shed all kinds of white tears when she felt she was being harassed over the situation.

At one point, near the end of Snider’s full nearly 25-minute video of the incident, the woman broke into tears as the woman followed her while she was walking to meet police at a nearby convenience store. Apparently, the white woman had snatched a card with Snider’s information and refused to give it back after repeated asks from Snider to return it.

“Leave me alone!” the triggered white woman yelled as she tried to portray herself as a victim. “I’m being harassed,” the white woman told police, while shedding a bunch of fake white tears, holding her knees and palming her face, as if she was in an unbearable amount of distress (Ed. Note: GIRL, BYE!!!)

The white woman then told an officer her side of the story, saying that she was so bothered by a black family using a charcoal grill at a park. Honestly, believe it or not, the cop looked like he wanted to laugh in her face the entire time.

Kenzie Smith told KRON4 that he and his family have been having barbecues in that park for decades, and it’s normal for people to barbecue there with charcoal grills.

“She said that we were trespassing, we were not welcome, and then she turned back around and said, ‘Y’all going to jail,’” Smith said.

Williams (the hero videographer) said she stayed on the scene to observe the situation so she could provide the police an eyewitness account, if needed.

“I approached because, one, Onsayo was alone; two, this white woman was being aggressive with him … and three, I felt that if the police came, then facts could be misconstrued,” she told HuffPost. “I do believe the woman unfairly targeted them,” Williams added. “Others on the lake were grilling and it’s a common occurrence.”

According to the Chronicle, police eventually took reports from both parties, who each claimed they were being harassed by the other, though the white lady played the “victim” role much better.

Of course, the viral hashtag #CookingOutWhileBlack has inspired countless memes and social media reactions from the chill-less section of Twitter we’ve all know as “Black Twitter,” and honestly, this crazy white lady—who obviously has nothing better to do with her time—deserves every bit of scrutiny that comes towards her way.

Pregnant Cardi B Confirms She’s Having a Baby Girl

Cardi B and Offset are having a girl!

Cardi confirmed the news last Tuesday (May 8) during an interview on SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show” after the host asked her directly, “Do you know what you’re having … what are you having?” The rapper replied, “Yes, I’m having a girl.”

Cardi B has previously (either mistakenly or purposely) dropped hints about the sex of her baby on the way. While catching up with the New York Times ahead of Monday’s Met Gala in NYC, Cardi repeatedly referred to her baby as “she.”

“Shorty weighs three and a half pounds,” the mom-to-be said, describing the heaviness of her look for the evening along with her other extra weight. “She do,” Cardi B said, according to the Times. “She do weigh three and a half pounds. That’s pretty good for seven months, right? Because I was born five pounds.”

The 25-year-old “Bodak Yellow” rapper also implied she was having a girl while speaking to Entertainment Tonight on the Met Gala red carpet. “Oh, she wants to fight me!” Cardi B said to ET of her baby kicking. “[My dress weighs] about 35 pounds plus baby. It’s okay though, I used to go up the project stairs.”

And last month, Cardi’s own sister Hennessy accidentally spilled the beans on Instagram last month when she used the word “daughter.”

Cardi is currently seven months along, and she and her fiancée, Migos rapper Offset, will welcome their baby girl either in late July or early August, just in time for Cardi to kick off her tour with Bruno Mars.
