Jackson, who plays Dro on the series, posted another black-and-white photo of a healthy, beautiful baby girl on Instagram Tuesday morning with the caption “NWTS,” referencing Drake’s 2013 album Nothing Was the Same. Social media sleuths immediately noticed the similarities of the photos, despite them being from different angles.
Even more facts: Dominique deleted her photo, essentially confirming that, yup, that’s Sarunas’ baby.

While fans of the show sent their congratulations to Perry and Jackson on social media, Jackson’s girlfriend, Kaylen Zahara, wrote on social media that she found out about her boyfriend’s new baby online with the rest of world. She posted a video on Instagram talking about how she’s “dodging f**kboy after f**kboy” and even made an “insecure” reference (LOL).
“Ladies, listen to your intuition! These dudes will be in your crib, eating your food & laying up with you, taking you on dates, etc but got kids on the way without you knowing,” she wrote. “These insecure men can never keep it 100. Congrats tho.”
A few hours later, Zahara followed that posts up by saying that she and Jackson were “great friends” and had “cleared the air.”
“I found out with the rest of the world so I ran with my feelings,” she wrote in a response to a commenter. “Sarunas and I are great friends and we’ve cleared the air! No foul play or games were played. He’s going to be an amazing father & we are going to continue to be close friends!”
So, despite their lack of confirmation, it looks like Dominique Perry (“Tasha”) and Sarunas J. Jackson (“Dro”) definitely had a baby together. Meanwhile, The Shade Room says they’ve confirmed “from a reliable source” that Jackson is the father of Perry’s daughter Zen.

Legendary actor Morgan Freeman is the latest celebrity to see his name added to a growing list of Hollywood’s alleged sexual offenders.
Just one week before his 81st birthday, the Academy Award winner is making headlines today after at least eight women have come forward accusing the actor of sexually harassing them over several years on the set of his movies or during media events related to his projects.
CNN says they spoke to 16 people—eight of whom claim they were victims and eight who were witnesses to the alleged misconduct—describing multiple troubling incidents throughout Freeman’s career.
One of the allegations comes from a young production assistant, who said that in the summer of 2015, while she was working on Freeman’s bank heist comedy Going In Style, she was subjected to harassment that spanned over a period of several months.
She told CNN that Freeman repeatedly tried to lift up her skirt to see if she was wearing underwear and also made unwanted comments about her figure. She said Freeman’s co-star, Alan Arkin, saw what was happening and told Freeman to stop. “Morgan got freaked out and didn’t know what to say,” she recalled.
Another woman who worked with Freeman on the movie “Now You See Me” in 2012 as senior production staff member told CNN that Freeman would often make comments about her body and that of another female staffer, saying that women on set knew how to cover up whenever he was around. “We knew that if he was coming by … not to wear any top that would show our breasts, not to wear anything that would show our bottoms, meaning not wearing clothes that [were] fitted,” she said.
A CNN reporter also said that she was subjected to Freeman’s alleged misconduct, recalling a 2015 media junket in which Freeman told her she looked “ripe.” She was six months pregnant at the time and alleges that Morgan said to her “Boy, do I wish I was there” to see her conceive her child.
At the request of a spokesperson for Freeman, CNN e-mailed a “detailed list” of the accusations against the actor—who was once accused of having an illicit affair with his late step-granddaughter, whom he’d known since she was a child—but has so far not received a response.
President Donald Trump will not be meeting with Kim Jong Un in June, according to a letter addressed to North Korea’s Supreme Leader from the president. The letter was released by The White House Thursday morning (May 24).
The meeting, which was scheduled for June 12th in Singapore, would have been a historic diplomatic summit between the United States and North Korea, who haven’t been on good terms over the years. In fact, that meeting would have been the first EVER face-to-face meeting between a U.S. and North Korean leader.
However, Trump says that he feels that it would be “inappropriate” to have this “long-planned meeting” due to the “tremendous anger and open hostility displayed in your most recent statement.”
The most “most recent statement” Trump is referring to came from North Korean’s vice minister of foreign affairs, Choe Son Hui, who called Vice President Mike Wednesday a “political dummy” on Wednesday.
“You talk about nuclear capabilities, but ours are so massive and powerful that I pray to God they will never have to be used,” President Trump said in his letter.
Pyongyang had threatened to pull out of next month’s summit with the U.S., citing the “unbridled and impudent remarks” of “political dummy” Mike Pence, who said that North Korea might end up “like Libya” if Kim Jong Un “doesn’t make a deal.” Pence’s statement was a clear reference to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, who was beaten and killed after being chased down by rebel soldiers in 2011—eight years following his decision to denuclearize after negotiations with the U.S.
Choe said that North Korea has no interest in meeting the same “tragic fate” as Libya. “As a person involved in the U.S. affairs, I cannot suppress my surprise at such ignorant and stupid remarks gushing out from the mouth of the U.S. vice president,” Choe said, according to a translation from Wall Street Journal reporter Jonathan Cheng.
“In case the U.S. offends against our goodwill and clings to unlawful and outrageous acts, I will put forward a suggestion to our supreme leadership for reconsidering the [Kim-Trump] summit,” Choe added, saying that it was up to the U.S. to decide whether it wanted ot negotiate in a “meeting room or encounter us [in a] unclear-to-nuclear showdown.”

In a since-deleted tweet, Cardi B revealed that Offset’s car crash happened because the “Ric Flair Drip” rapper swerved in the road to avoid hitting an allegedly suicidal crackhead.

Now, months later, new reports have surfaced, confirming that Joseline is partnering with WE TV for the show, which we hear is executive produced by former RHOA producer Carlos King, who has also done production work for LHHATL, Gucci Mane and Keyshia Kaoir’s Mane Event BET series, as well as his own show, Hollywood Divas.
According to reports, Joseline Takes Miami will follow Joseline’s journey as a single mother raising her adorable daughter Bonnie Bella in Miami. The show will also display Joseline’s sexy tropical lifestyle and put a huge spotlight on her brand new music featuring a “talented array of hot Latin artists,” Hip Hollywood reported.
It remains to be seen whether or not Joseline’s ex-boyfriend and baby daddy Stevie J will appear on the show. But the two are now in a peaceful co-parenting relationship, as they have finally settled their child custody war and were recently spotted at Atlanta’s Lenox Square Mall shopping with their 16-month-old daughter.

The man who went viral last week for “quitting” his “job” at Popeyes by hilariously singing the lyrics “I don’t really wanna work here no more” admits that the whole thing was fake.
Armed with a portable mic and speakers, a man walked into a Popeyes restaurant last week and announced his “resignation” with a catchy song.
“So I got an announcement… I’m quitting my job today,” he said before breaking out into song. “I don’t really want to work here no more,” the man melodically sang over the beat while customers chuckled and whipped out their phones to record the moment. “I quit!” he yelled after singing and rapping for nearly two straight minutes.
The clip, which was originally uploaded to Facebook and YouTube last Tuesday (May 15) and posted on Twitter the following day, became an instant viral hit. As of today, on Facebook, it has so far racked up more than 3 million views and 53,000 shares. And on Twitter, it has been watched over 5 million times, with over 145,000 retweets and 300,000 likes.
According to the man in the video—Cedrick Workuff from Kansas City, Missouri—he never really worked at Popeyes in the first place. He said he and his cousin Marco Summers (the man behind the camera) just wanted to spread a little positivity and bring some humor into folks’ lives with the viral clip.
“It’s something me and Marco wanted to put in the works,” Workuff told KSHB. “It wasn’t planned. It was all improvised. Only the idea was planned.”
Summers said that other videos he’s made have been picked up by celebrities and TV shows like Right This Minute. He said his inspiration comes from his own experiences.
“I’ve been through most of the stories I talk about. Instead of letting them damage me, I make them something funny,” Summers said. “It’s opening a door for people to laugh at situations like that.”
Cedrick and Marco hope to turn their stories into a TV show one day.
“If we don’t make people smile, we failed,” Summers said. “Our main missing is to bring back peace and love through laughter,” said Workuff.
Although it’s slightly disappointing that he didn’t actually quit by reworking one of the hottest tracks of 1998, but it still takes guts to go into a random Popeye’s, break into song ,and then theatrically throw your apron on the floor. There were apparently no hard feelings: Shortly afterward, Workcuff posted a picture of a box of Popeye’s chicken on Facebook. “Still had to get some anyway lol,” he wrote.
While it’s a bit disappointing to find out that he didn’t actually quit his job by remixing one of the hottest tracks of the 90’s—Big Pun and Joe’s “Still Not A Player“—it takes guts to waltz into a random Popeyes and break into song.

Real Housewives of Atlanta stars NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak-Biermann refuse to let their longtime feud go and have each taken to social media to rehash season 10 of the Bravo series and their reunion showdown.
NeNe writes that Kim deserved to be called out for her RHOA season 10 behavior, while Kim alleges that NeNe attempted to kick her during the reunion taping.
The social media barbs come days after Andy Cohen told radio host Jenny McCarthy that he believes Kim was “ganged up” on by the other housewives at the reunion and felt he should have done more to control the situation.
Cohen said on The Jenny McCarthy Show:
“Atlanta this season, I had a really rough time with the last chunk of that when Kim was on because it got very… I hate a five against one situation. It is a gang up and the problem is that Kim was not … It’s less problematic when the person is good at taking up for themselves and Kim was not having an easy time with her words … No one was listening to me and I really did not have control of the room and I wish that I had walked off.”
NeNe responded to Cohen’s comments on Monday after several fans sent the video to her. “If Kim was [ganged] up on, she deserved it!” she wrote on Twitter. “That’s what happens when u talk reckless abt EVERYBODY!”

The major conflict between NeNe and Kim during season 10 began after Kim claimed NeNe had roaches in her house based on a video Kim’s daughter, Brielle Biermann, recorded. NeNe and several of the housewives believed the accusation had a racist subtext.
NeNe also accused Kim of holding on to the video and a photo of NeNe’s car parked in handicap parking spot in order to use them against her at some point during the season.
NeNe Leakes is expected to return to Real Housewives of Atlanta for season 11. However, Kim Zolciak was not asked back and it’s being reported she never wants to make another appearance again due to her season 10 portrayal.

A security guard is accused of manhandling a group of women at Houston’s restaurant in Atlanta for the crime of using the bathroom, and the aftermath of the situation was caught on video.
According to the police report obtained by 11 Alive News, an off-duty cop was working an extra job as security for Houston’s at 2166 Peachtree Road last Sunday (May 13) on Mother’s Day when the incident occurred.
The report states that the restaurant’s manager asked top flight security (FYI: This is what we call cornball off-duty cops or security guards who have no authority and take their jobs waaaay too seriously) to escort three women out of the restroom because they were utilizing the facilities after hours, and they had refused to leave after being asked twice to do so.
When top flight security went into the restroom, he found the three women, later identified as Brittany Marie Lucio, Asia’h Sharrell Epperson and Erica Walker, all on their phones and ignoring his orders to leave the establishment.
The “officer” asked the women to leave a second time, and was, once again, met with no response, however, this time, the “officer” says they laughed at him, crushing his fragile ego. He says he asked them a third time to leave, and was, again, ignored.
Top flight security grabbed the same woman by the wrist once again, this time dragging her out the bathroom and through the restaurant before tossing her outside, where she shouted, “Get your f**king hands off me! You ain’t about to touch me!”
That’s when the “officer” said the woman, Brittany Lucio, swung at him and hit him in the mouth, which caused two “lacerations inside [his] mouth,” 11 Alive reported. And, apparently, that’s when all hell broke loose.
The “officer” then grabbed Lucio, as well as her friend, Erica Walker, and asked for the manager to call 911 for “backup” while he detained them. Not believing what she was seeing in front of her, Asia’h Epperson—an actress on the OWN TV show “Greenleaf” and a former American idol finalist—started recording the incident with her cell phone.

Video footage shared via Instagram shows the two women on the ground arguing with the manager while top flight security—whose name appears to be “J. Guzeman”—struggles to detain the women until the “real police” arrive.
Epperson can be heard in the background telling the cop, “You need to get off of these women! Let go of her!”
Not too long afterward, a real cop with handcuffs arrived on the scene and arrested Lucia because “they all began to walk away,” the police report states.
More officers came to rescue top flight security from the women, who were all checked for injuries by Grady EMS and subsequently arrested and booked into the Fulton County Jail on charges of criminal trespass. Lucio was additionally hit with a felony obstruction charge.
11 Alive reporter Faith Abubey talked to Gerald Griggs, the attorney representing Lucio and Walker, and he said there are a number of “factual inaccuracies in the officer’s reporting.” Griggs added, “I’m concerned about that, considering there are numerous witnesses that will state they (the women) were an invitee onto the location.”
Griggs said that the restaurant’s kitchen was closed, but the dining room was still open. He explained that the three women had walked in to meet some friends who were already eating in the restaurant, and they claim that they were told by restaurant staff that it was OK for them to use the restroom.
Asked why the women didn’t just leave when they were asked, Griggs told 11 Alive, “You can’t just leave the restroom after you just finish using it. You have to wash your hands. Have to make sure that you have taking care of all of your needs.”
Griggs said top flight security escalated the situation by trying to forcibly remove them from the restaurant through the back door, and now he and his clients are looking forward to a full investigation from the Atlanta Police Department, and the women would like for the D.A. to drop the charges against them.
“We are seriously concerned about the level of force that was used,” Griggs said, referring to a claim from the women that top flight security threw them into the bushes. “We believe they were profiled and subject to police brutality.”
In response to Griggs’ claims of police brutality, a spokesman for Atlanta PD told 11 Alive “after claims of excessive force were brought to our attention, the Chief directed The Office of Professional Standards to review the officer’s actions.”
Griggs said, ultimately, he wants to know why the women were manhandled and how they ended up in the bushes, calling Houston’s response to the situation “very disturbing.” He said, “This is a very disturbing case and we hope to be able to come to a swift resolution with the charges being dropped.”
Griggs told 11 Alive that, as a result of the incident and the attention its brought, Lucio was cut from a movie she was filming. She wrote on her Instagram page that she was “frustrated” by what happened and told 11 Alive in a personal statement that she was “embarrassed, humiliated” and “traumatized by the officer’s lack of ethics, professionalism and blatant physical assault on my friends for no valid reason.”
Lucio added that top flight security’s version of events were “false and exaggerated” and reiterated that she would be taking legal action.
Griggs went on to say that he and his clients were in the early stages of planning a demonstration/protest, and were also calling for diversity and inclusion training, in reference to previous incidents in which the staff displayed racial bias towards black customers.
One of the women shared photos online highlighting the extent of her injuries. The pics showed a number of deep bruises on her arms and legs, scratches on her back (consistent with being thrown in bushes), and cuts to the back of her ears. She appears to have a black eye in two of the photos.
For their part, Houston’s said that they were aware of the complaint and were in the process of investigating. They also released the following BS statement:
“The evidence we have seen thus far shows that three women arrived approximately 30 minutes after closing time, they went into the restroom as a group after being told that the restaurant was closed. The three stayed in the restroom for more than 10 minutes, and refused to leave despite repeated requests from several managers to do so. Eventually, an off-duty Atlanta Police Officer was summoned with whom one or more of the women got into an altercation that led to arrests. Based on our current understanding, we believe our managers responded appropriately to this unfortunate situation.”
Atlanta rapper T.I. led a boycott against Houston’s last October after an employee at the restaurant’s Buckhead location threw out a group of black female customers.
“This is the kind of activity that we will not accept in our community, as a culture, and with us having buying power in this city,” he said. T.I. worked closely with the owners to improve relations before eventually calling off the boycott.

In the opening scenes of the Kill Bill-inspired visuals, directed by Jora Frantzis, Cardi is a not-so-blushing bride in an all-white gown as she raps about infidelity while standing at the altar with the man she’s supposed to spend the rest of her life with.
But what’s supposed to be a happy time for Cardi quickly turns into sorrow as the video goes dark (literally and figuratively) and Cardi, now dressed in all black, rolls up to the same church she got married in. However, this time, she’s attending her husband’s funeral.
As she looks into his open casket, she raps about how he “makes [her] sick” before she closes the coffin and rides off into the sunset.
She talked about the video shoot in a post on IG, calling it “one of the hardest videos” she’s ever done.

Young King Dave (aka “YDK”), the young man who made himself famous on the internet after a video in which he proclaimed “I Got the Loud” went viral, died last Thursday (May 17) at 19 years old.
According to Motherboard, before his death, the viral sensation—who was known for his videos that showed him smoking weed or “doinks” (as he called them) and making candid observations about the world around him—had been hospitalized after suffering from a collapsed lung.
YKD’s manager and childhood friend Chris Clemenza said that the internet star “died from complications during recovery.” A friend of Young King Dave’s wrote on Instagram that he had “an infection that he let go too long for stupid reasons. But it got so bad they had to put him in a medically induced coma. Then he died.”
Now, YKD’s fans and supporters are wondering when and where he will be laid to rest, and they also want information on where his funeral and/or a memorial service will be held to celebrate his life.
According to his obituary, the 19-year-old “passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey.”
YKD’s obituary also offers some information about funeral service plans, which are apparently private. “In respect of his family’s wishes, David will be privately cremated,” his obituary states.
However, despite his cremation being private, Dave’s obituary notes that “family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.” which is located at 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North in Hazlet, New Jersey.

Quavo was the only Migos member who attended the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night (May 20) in Las Vegas.
Before the show’s festivities kicked off, the rapper was asked about the condition of his cousin and groupmate Offset, who was banged up pretty bad last week after getting into a car accident.
“My boy Offset got into a bad car accident, but he doing fine, he up and running, he up and walking, ready to work,” Quavo told Billboard. “He should be back working real, real soon. It’s a blessing that he’s still here. God is good.”
God really is good, because Offset released a bunch of photos from the crash showing off his injuries and how badly the car was wrecked, and it’s a miracle he made it out not only alive, but with what’s considered pretty minor injuries.
Quavo also talked to Billboard about new music and revealed that Migos are working on some new projects right now, including some solo tracks, but he didn’t want to reveal too much.
“We got a lot of projects coming this summer,” he teased. “This July, we got DJ Durel. He gonna be releasing a lot of our solo songs on his album, so we do got solo singles that’s coming this summer.”
The rapper Migos frontman also opened up about lending some backing vocals to Childish Gambino’s “This Is America,” which he called “amazing” and “a blessing.”
“It’s overwhelming,” he continued. “Me and Donald got a good history, you know, he shouted us out at the awards and we’ve been on Atlanta, and him going back and forth… our communication and our connection is real strong, so whenever he calls me and says, ‘Let’s do some music,’ we’ll just pull up and just work.”
Love & Hip Hop Atlanta fan favorite Tommie Lee is known and loved for her carefree and sassy attitude, but those same personality traits are the reason why she finds herself in so much trouble.
On last week’s episode, Tommie was confronted by her fellow castmate, “LHHATL” newcomer and Jamaican dancehall artist Spice, after she showed up to a music video shoot three hours (or, in the words of Spice, “tree howuz”) late. However, Tommie claims the whole thing was set up by producers, and she doesn’t know if she’ll be coming back next season because she’s tired of them portraying her as an alcoholic.
Spice and Tommie were working on a song together until things went sour between the two. Spice alleged that Tommie was always late to their studio sessions, and when she did finally show up, she was drunk as hell.
On the show, Spice was seen arguing with Tommie at the video shoot for the collaboration, and at one point during their confrontation, a clearly agitated Spice took Tommie’s drink out of her hand and tossed it, even after Tommie tried to apologize for being tardy to the party.
“You need to stop drinking,” Spice told Tommie, “And you need to sit the f**k down and get yourself together!”
“I got mad love for Tommie, and I think she has a lot of talent,” Spice said in her green screen confessional, “but she’s gonna make her love for alcohol get in the way of her love for the music.”
But, according to Tommie, all of that is bullsh*t. She told fans on Facebook that she was actually on time for the shoot, and production knew what was going on, and they basically set her up to look like she was late all for a storyline.
“Some of these chicks on this show I’m on find it very easy to do sneaky sh*t and then pin it on [me] because according to them I’m a ‘drunk’ and [an] ‘alcoholic,'” the reality star explained. “I was never late. Anything that pertains to my career I’m never late to. I was in the parking lot taking pics and production came to me. Spice knew what was going to happen in that scene, so I don’t play that bull about Tommie is late because she was drinking. I’m really debating on whether or not to return next season.”
Tommie also let it be known that not only was she always on time, but she also paid for the sessions. She also said she went out of her way to introduce Spice to industry contacts to help her cross over from the Dancehall genre.
As for their collaboration, Tommie says that’s been canceled, but she urged her fans to listen to “Cheat On Me,” her new single with Blac Youngsta. “[To] all you people that were expecting the Spice track … that’s over so keep streaming Cheat On Me,” she wrote.
Also, according to Tommie, her pet pig Gucci, really was sick the morning of her video shoot with Spice. “Gucci the pig was sick though and I haven’t really had pets like that so I got scared,” she said.

A former professional wrestler was severely beaten in front of his home in Mar Vista, Los Angeles, and neighbors said it all started over a disagreement about a parking space.
Tom Magee—who, in addition to being a WWE veteran, was also a world powerlifting champion and a former contender for World’s Strongest MAN—had gotten into an argument with a group of guys outside his house, and was subsequently kicked and punched in the head repeatedly until he was left with a broken jaw, a concussion, and a broken eye socket.
It wasn’t clear who the aggressor was in the situation, however, it was clear that Magee was outnumbered by the six men who brutally attacked him to the point where he could have died.
The Los Angeles Police Department says they’re investigating the fight, and two of the six attackers (Justin Lee and Degrate Bryant, both 20) have been arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon.
Magee has since been released from the hospital and is recovering at home.
Teairra Mari’s ex-boyfriend Akbar Abdul-Ahad is adamant that he did NOT leak their sex tape, and he plans to prove his innocence in court.
Abdul-Ahad’s denial comes on the heels of Teairra’s “revenge porn” lawsuit against him and his friend 50 Cent. Mari alleges the pair attempted to tarnish her image and bring upon emotional distress by sharing sexually explicit video and photos of her online
Teairra alleges in her suit, which was filed by her attorney, Lisa Bloom, that Akbar logged into her Instagram account and posted the video, which included an image of her with semen all over face. She said in a press conference Thursday (May 17) at Bloom’s office that Akbar shared the video and photo after she ended their relationship when she found out he had been cheating on her. She said he was able to post the images to her IG account because he had her password.
The Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star said after she broke up with Akbar, he told her his phone had been stolen, and that was when she realized he was planning to post their sextape.
Teairra said she deleted the post on IG as soon as she saw it, but that’s when 50 Cent got involved. According to the lawsuit, Fiddy posted a black-and-white screen grab of her with ejaculate on her face to his 18 million IG followers along with the caption: “Damn baby, This reality TV sh*t going [too] far… what you doing this for? get the strap.”
But Akbar said in an interview with TMZ that he isn’t the one who leaked the footage. He says he knows exactly who did it (a woman, he alleged), but he isn’t naming names. “She knows I didn’t do it,” he said. “I know I didn’t do it. The person will be revealed, like, you don’t realize who it was, it was a woman who did it.”
He also said Teairra’s lawsuit was just her putting on an act for the world because that’s what she does. “She’s an actress,” he pointed out. On top of that, he claims they were just hanging out days before she filed her lawsuit, so she can’t be that hurt, right?
Akbar said he didn’t see the lawsuit coming, but “Lisa Bloom has a hard on for 50,” which is why he believes Teairra filed the lawsuit in the first place.
In response to Teairra’s suit, Akbar said he plans to countersue for defamation, alleging that she and Bloom attacked him and his character in that press conference.
Whitney Houston was known for her voice, but she was also known for something else: Her hilariously shady comments!
Whitney was hella talented, but she was also hella funny. Remember when she went all the way AWF on Wendy Williams back in 2003? The entire 24-minute interview was full of gems, but one moment stood out more than the rest.
At one point in the “discussion,” Whitney basically told ole girl to “cash [her] ousside” and called Wendy out for her looks. Whitney’s words exactly: “If this were back in the day in Newark, I’d meet you outside” and “I’m sure when you look at yourself in the mirror you have some reservations about your look, too … I’ve seen you! I KNOW how you look!”
And we can’t forget that Diane Sawyer interview when, in response to allegations that she was a drug abuser, particularly of the crack cocaine variety, she got homegirl all the way together. “First of all, let’s get one thing straight,” she said while grabbing a mug of tea. “Crack is cheap. I’ve made too much money to ever smoke crack. We don’t do crack. We don’t do that. Crack is wack!”
Responding to rumors and tabloid headlines that she spent $730,000 on her drug habit, she then uttered the now iconic words, which we use in the blogs and on social media all the time to prove whether or not something is real: “I WANNA SEE THE RECEIPTS!”
So, yeah, Whitney Houston was a trip. This we know. But what we didn’t know was the stuff she said behind closed doors. And in the trailer for her upcoming documentary “Whitney,” we get to see a ton of behind the scenes footage, including a moment where she shades the fawk out of Paula Abdul, who was her industry rival at the time.
Whitney was sitting down with her mother, Cissy Houston, and was talking about the perils of fame when she brought Paula Abdul into the discussion. “Now, one thing, Paula Abdul ain’t sh*t,” Houston said. “That girl is singing off-key on the record.”
When I saw that trailer for the first time, that one line took me OWT, I tell you, and I will definitely be going to the theaters to see the documentary when it is released on July 6th.
The film, directed by Kevin Macdonald promises to showcase an “unprecedented, unflinching and honest” portrait of the late singer and it features interviews with many of her close friends and family members who were ready to spill all kinds of Whitney tea on camera.
But all of it isn’t full of laughs. One heartbreaking revelation from Whitney’s past was that she was sexually abused by her older cousin, Dianne Warwick’s sister Dee Dee Warwick.
Whitney’s longtime assistant Mary Jones claims that being molested by her older cousin made Whitney question her own sexuality and contributed to her problems with alcohol and drug abuse, though Whitney never spoke publicly about her own alleged drug abuse.
Jones says in the documentary, “I think she was ashamed… she used to say, ‘I wonder if I did something to make [Dee Dee] think I wanted her.’ I said, ‘Stop. A predator is a predator is a predator.’ If Cissy had known, she would have done something about it, because Cissy loves her children.'”
“We always wanted our film to be a corrective to that tabloid story,” said producer Simon Chinn. “These are specific revelations that I think will get people to a deeper understanding of who Whitney was and in many ways redeem her as a person.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have released the official family portraits from their Royal Wedding, which took place Saturday (May 19) at Windsor Castle in London.
In one black-and-white photo, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex pose solo on the steps of the East Terrace of Windsor Castle.
In another photo, which is full color, the prince and princess are standing with their family—including Prince Harry’s grandparents, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, his father and stepmother, Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall Camilla, his brother and sister-in-law, Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, his nephew and niece, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.
And a third color photo shows the Duke and Duchess posing with their small (literally, lol) wedding party, which included six junior bridesmaids, including 3-year-old Princess Charlotte, and four page boys, including 4-year-old Prince George.
The color photos were taken inside the Green Drawing Room of Windsor Castle.
Kensington Palace released the photos on Twitter. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have released three official photographs from their Wedding day,” one tweet read. “These photographs were taken by photographer Alexi Lubomirski at Windsor Castle, following the carriage procession.”
Another tweet read, “The Duke and Duchess would like to thank everyone who took part in the celebrations of their Wedding. They feel so lucky to have been able to share their day with all those gathered in Windsor and those who watched on television across the UK, Commonwealth, and around the world.”
Lubomirski was the photographer behind the royal couple’s engagement photos as well. He said ahead of the wedding, “I could not be more thrilled or honored to photograph this historic occasion. Having taken Prince Harry and Ms. Markle’s engagement photos, it brings me such joy to be able to witness again, the next chapter in this wonderful love story.”
Prince Harry and the former “Suits” actress married at St. George’s Chapel in front of 600 guests that included A-listers like Oprah Winfrey, Serena Williams, George Clooney, and David and Victoria Beckham.
Elton John performed for the star-studded crowd at the newlyweds’ lunchtime reception. The pair later had a private evening reception with just 200 guests.
Neither Khloe, Tristan, nor any of the Kardashian-Jenners have commented on speculation that True’s parents are tying the knot any time soon. What we can say is that, for whatever reason, Khloe is giving cheating Tristan a second change and is trying to work things out.
