Beyoncé & Jay-Z Are Offering Free Concert Tickets for Life to Fans Who Go Vegan, and Twitter is Lit

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are giving fans the chance to win free concert tickets FOR LIFE if they vow to go vegan.

Beyoncé announced the new contest Wednesday night (Jan. 30) as part of the Greenprint Project, whose goal is to improve the environment by urging people to switch to a plant-based diet.

It’s important to note that you don’t have to go completely vegan to be eligible for the contest. You can simply limit your meat intake with “Meatless Mondays” or incorporate more vegan substitutes, like “plant-based breakfasts,” for example.

According to Beyoncé, her “Greenprint” is “Plant-based for breakfast” and “Meatless Mondays.”

The contest, which notes in the fine print that “free tickets for life” really means “free tickets for up to 30 years,” ends on April 22nd. A winner will be selected at random in May.

Needless to say, fans on Twitter are SUPER LIT over the possibility of scoring free Beyoncé tickets for life just for doing something as simple as eating a vegan meal once a day or going meatless for 24 hours.

Of course, some of us are struggling with the idea of a plant-based diet.

But, most of us, are all for it.

Missouri Police Beg Criminals Not to Commit Any Crimes Because It’s Too Cold Outside

As most of the continental United States deals with frigid temperatures brought on by the Polar Vortex 2019—with some areas experiencing subzero temps—police in one particular city in Missouri are begging criminals to take a break this week because it’s just too damn cold outside to be dealing with unnecessary foolishness.

The Warrensburg Police Department in Warrensburg, MO posted the following hilarious request to their Facebook page:

“So…we are asking a favor (at least for the next three days); can you keep the criminalling to a minimum? It is REALLY cold out…do yourself (and us) a favor…stay inside. Be nice to each other, watch reruns of Say Yes to the Dress (we hear from the fire fighters that it’s a really good show). Mmmmkay, thanks!”

Wind chill temperatures in Warrensburg were expected to drop as low as -30 degrees this week.

Other areas saw even lower temperatures, like North Dakota, where temps plunged as low as -26, and Minnesota, who had wind chills as low as -62.

On Wednesday (Jan. 30), Chicago experienced temperatures colder than parts of Antartica, Alaska and the North Pole. There, the high was -10 and the low was a record-setting -23 degrees.

According to the National Weather Service, a wind chill of -25 degrees can freeze exposed skin within 15 minutes.

Mugshot Madness: Dominique Williams’ Booking Photo Released After Arrest for Aggravated Sodomy

Police have released Dominique Williams’ mugshot following his arrest for aggravated sodomy for allegedly raping a woman in an Atlanta nightclub.

Earlier today, we reported on Williams’ arrest and confirmed via online arrest records that he was being held in the Fulton County Jail without bond.

Atlanta police told Channel 2 Action News that the 34-year-old turned himself in Tuesday (Jan. 29) on a warrant for aggravated sodomy.

Police said on January 20th, the day after the incident, the department received a number of calls from people who had seen the alleged assault on Facebook.

According to a police report obtained by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, a caller told police she saw a video of a woman being groped and possibly “being raped” as she screamed “No, stop!”

Officers were dispatched to the nightclub and met with security, but couldn’t locate the victim because she had already left. When officers watched the video, they realized it was recorded an hour before they arrived.

Police announced the next day that they had identified and contacted the man in the video, but his name wasn’t officially released because of the ongoing investigation. However, he chose to do an exclusive interview with the Instagram blog Gossip in the City and his name was revealed as Dominique Williams.

Jasmine Eiland, the woman identified in the video, told police she was celebrating her birthday at Opera nightclub on a Saturday night (January 19th) when the alleged assault occurred. She said someone put drugs in her drink and then sexually assaulted her on the dance floor.

The video streamed on Facebook Live from inside the club “appears to show a woman being sexually assaulted in a local nightclub,” police spokesman Jarius Daugherty said.

Police said Monday (Jan. 28) Eiland wasn’t in Georgia anymore but was cooperating with investigators.

Management for Opera nightclub said in a statement on its Facebook page that they were cooperating with the investigation.

“At this time we have met with the Atlanta Police Department and have provided them with everything they have requested,” read the statement posted on January 21st. “We will continue to aid and support their investigation in any way we can.”

Chicago Police Release Useless Pics of Persons of Interest in Jussie Smollett Assault

The alleged racist and homophobic-fueled hate crime against Empire actor Jussie Smollett has rocked the Internet and shaken the nation.

Many people are eager for the alleged MAGA-loving thugs to be held accountable for the assault. So when the Chicago Police announced on Twitter that after scouring surveillance footage, they’d be releasing photos of some “persons of interest” in the case, people were READY for justice to be served.

Unfortunately, what we were greeted with from the Chicago PD was about as helpful in solving this case as sending someone to find a needle in a haystack.

OK. So we got two blurry stills of two dudes dressed in all black from really far away with no discerning characteristics visible at all.

Chicago PD, who the HELL is supposed to identify anybody for you this damn crapshoot?

Honestly, y’all might as well just have said, “We still lookin” instead of releasing these damn shadowy figures like somebody’s really supposed to be able to go up to someone and say, “Hey, ain’t you the ones that jumped Jamal from Empire?”

But anyway, I guess, if you were in the Chicago area and you recognize those generic-ass dudes in black hoodies, leave a tip or something for the Chicago PD here.

Fake Thug Tekashi 6ix9ine Rats His Boys Out in Cooperation With Police

They say prison can break a man, and by all accounts, it would seem that the time behind bars is softening the spine of the ruggish thuggish My Little Pony known as Tekashi 6ix9ine.

According to TMZ, the so-called “King of New York” dropped a dime on his associates as indictments started rolling out like hot tortillas on a conveyor belt against his boys Kintea McKenzie (aka Kooda B), Anthony Ellison and Denard Butler.

Kooda B has specifically been named as a suspect in the shooting of Chief Keef back in June of last year, and TMZ says Kooda B was allegedly paid $10,000 to do the shooting and that Tekashi specifically singled his former associate out to police.

“Tekashi spoke with investigators and pinned him as the trigger man at the Keef shooting last June in Times Square,” according to the report.

The other gentleman, Anthony Ellison, is the man accused of kidnapping and assaulting Tekashi so it’s less of a surprise that he’d drop a dime on him.

For those who know better (mainly people with common sense, life experience, and over 30) it was obvious that Tekashi was nobody’s legit gangster so those who expected him to actually uphold the no-snitching street code (mainly those without common sense, no life experience and under 25) were fooling themselves.

To all of the rodents who used to run around doing Tekashi’s dirty work back in the day: be afraid, be very afraid. Your name might fall from Dennis the Menace’s chapped lips and the po-po will slap you with some brand new wrist jewelry you definitely don’t want.

Dominique Williams Arrested & Charged With Aggravated Sodomy of Jasmine Eiland

UPDATE: Dominique Williams’ Mugshot Released

The man who appeared to sexually assault Jasmine Eiland on Facebook Live has reportedly been arrested and charged with aggravated sodomy.

According to Fameolous, Dominique Williams was booked Tuesday (Jan. 29) for the crime and is awaiting his court date.

Online arrest records confirmed Williams was booked in the Fulton County Jail and is currently being held without bond.

Jasmine Eiland was celebrating her birthday at Opera nightclub on the night of January 19th, and was live streaming when she captured the attack as it happened.

Video of the alleged sexual assault went viral on Facebook before being removed. Eiland later posted a video saying she was OK.

A few days after the incident went viral on social media, Williams spoke with Fameolous and told a totally different account of what appeared in the video.

“She got me in this video looking like I really did something to her. She has messages between her and her friends saying that she wasn’t raped,” he said. “But, she’s not coming out and saying that she wasn’t raped. She didn’t come out and say that she was raped either. These folks are running with it like she was actually raped.”

“Nothing happened to this girl,” Williams said. “She went to the hospital and got a rape kit. I don’t know if I can say this on record, but I’m pretty blessed and I’m 6’4” and she’s short. At no point, did I bend down and try to put anything in her. There were lots of people around! Lots of people around.”

Williams also said that Jasmine was doing all of this to get back at her ex-husband.

“I guess they were going through something,” he said. “So, she’s doing all of that mess on social media to get back at her ex-husband. And now the sh** done went viral and got my name all in it and people got video of her dancing with several other people before me!”

In the part of the clip that appears to show Eiland being raped and begging for help, Williams said he was actually helping her off the floor.

“I simply helped that girl!” he said. “I was trying to help her off the floor and she’s doing all of that, ‘Help me’—all that extra stuff for no f***ing reason!”

Williams has retained the services of an attorney who released a statement proclaiming her client’s innocence.

Attorney Shequel Ross said that it was a “consensual dance” (in the beginning) and since the police weren’t called as soon as the alleged violation happened, and since Eiland participated in a twerk contest with no panties, Williams should be given the benefit of the doubt.

“I think the evidence will show otherwise… that this was not a rape,” she said.

Reports of Williams’ arrest comes nearly a week after Eiland reportedly attempted suicide.

“I have no service in the hospital, but she’s okay y’all, she responsive now,” a family member wrote on Facebook. “She has a 2nd chance at life but she still saying she doen’t wanna be here so can THE WHOLE FB just keep y’all negativity & other bs [to] y’all self please. My cousin need his wife & Jasmine Eiland needs to be here with her babies…”

L. Chris Stewart, an attorney hired to conduct an independent investigation on the matter, also gave an update regarding his client’s mental state:

#jasmineeiland is alive, despite the rumors. She will get through this. How some people can harass a woman whom they watch get assaulted on video is mind boggling. But that’s between them and God. We will get justice.

Meanwhile, an attorney not related to the case, posted a video from a bystander on Instagram appearing to show the moment Jasmine Eiland was allegedly raped.

Attorney Joshua E. Palmer wrote: “For all the skeptics. Video shows #jasmineeiland clearly passed out when the suspect appears to spit on his hand and you see the rest smh. He then carries her passed out body into another room. The video in the other room is too horrific and graphic for Ig. But you saw it. He must be stopped! Where the f@*¢ was security?!?”

Florida Rapper Jayo Sama Shot Dead in Palm Beach County: He Was 22 Years Old

Jayo Sama, an up and coming rapper from Florida, was shot and killed in West Palm Beach County on Sunday, January 27th, 2019. He was just 22 years old.

Sama’s death was confirmed via an Instagram post from Sama’s close friend, 12 Honcho, who wrote: “F**k Palm Beach F**k Florida RIP My Lil N***a I Can’t Lose Anymore ….. RIP JAY O!!!!!”

Honcho added that he regularly told Sama—a native of Fort Myers, Florida who grew up in Lake Park, just north of West Palm Beach—to leave Florida because “the hate is so real” there.

Jayo Sama (real name: Jonas Joseph) first gained notoriety with his December 2016 song “Intro” and his star continued to rise with the release of his June 2018 mixtape Zumb Freestyle with rapper Soldier Kidd.

According to the Palm Beach Post, Sama was found dead Sunday (Jan. 27) as a passenger inside of a car in the 72000 block of 72nd Way, not too far away from Palm Beach Lakes High School.

The Palm Beach Post noted in their report that it’s likely that the driver of the car Sama was in drove a half-mile from 45th Street and Haverhill Road before falling unconscious.

Sama was then rushed to a hospital where he was reportedly pronounced dead. By the time detectives arrived, according to WPBF, the driver had fled the scene.

Detectives are still trying to figure out what happened that night.

Asked in a 2018 interview about the rampant violence in Palm Beach, Jayo Sama said that there were too many young people trying to join gangs in the city.

Sama said that growing up, he spent every day looking over his shoulder, adding that he has had more than one friend who had succumbed to gun violence in the city.

A little over a month before his death, Sama released a new video for his song “You Sleep,” which The Fader described as a clip paying a “tribute to fallen loved ones.”

Sama told The Fader that the song was originally written in 2016.

“I came up with the song while I was incarcerated back in 2016,” he said. “I kept harmonizing the hook in my head over and over. When I got out, I had, to make the beat.”

Sama shared via Instagram on December 8th that his girlfriend, Sofia Veronica, was pregnant with a son.

“God answered my prayers,” he wrote on a photo taken at the couple’s gender reveal photo. “It’s a boy!! #BabyOsama.”

When news of Sama’s death went public, Veronica shared a heartbreaking series of photos of the couple together.

The caption described Sama’s death as being “so painful it feels like a thousand knives going through your heart.” Veronica added: “Y’all think y’all know jay. But y’all didn’t. Y’all think you know how I feel but you don’t.” Veronica said that she and Sama were supposed to move in together in the next few days.

Jeannie Mai Says She & Young Jeezy Are “Having a Good Time Together” Without Labels

Now, Jeannie Mai is responding to the speculation. On Monday’s (Jan. 28) episode of The Real, Mai, 40, said that while she’s been spending a lot of quality time with Young Jeezy (real name: Jay Wayne Jenkins), she can’t officially say they’re a couple because they haven’t labeled their relationship just yet.

“You guys know that I’m multi-dating right?” Mai said to her The Real co-hosts Loni Love, Tamera Mowry and Adrienne Bailon after the latter questioned her about her relationship status with the 41-year-old rapper.

“Jeezy and I hang out,” Mai continued. “He’s very special to me, so we don’t really have a label to define what it is we’re doing. We’re just having a good time together.”

Rumors of Jeannie Mai and Young Jeezy’s relationship comes a year after Mai and her estranged husband, Freddy Harteis, split after 10 years of marriage.

Though Mai and Marteis initially said their divorce was amicable, things took a dark turn between the couple when their divorce proceedings started to become official.

Mai said in October 2018 that if she could turn back time, she would have never married Marteis. “Knowing what I know now about who I married, I wouldn’t have married him,” she said, holding backs tears, on an episode of The Real.

That being said, it’s easy to understand why Jeannie Mai is taking things slow with Young Jeezy. She just wants to have some fun and doesn’t want to involve her emotions at the moment, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Blac Chyna Allegedly Choked & Slammed Against Wall by Boyfriend Kid Buu During “Violent” Fight in Hawaii

Blac Chyna and her new boyfriend Kidd Buu got into a huge fight while on vacation in Honolulu, Hawaii over the weekend, TMZ reports.

According to the gossip site, the couple was staying at the Ritz-Carlton where they allegedly got into a heated argument that turned physical after Chyna accused Kid Buu of cheating.

Sources say that Chyna allegedly scratched Kid Buu and he responded by repeatedly slamming her against a wall and choking her. Someone called 911 and paramedics, as well as police, arrived at the scene. Chyna was not taken to the hospital, and no one was seriously injured, TMZ reported.

Kid Buu later took to Instagram to seemingly address the incident, writing: “I wish I could travel time and erase the day that I met you. #GetBackMyWastedTime.”

Blac Chyna was in the news earlier this month over reports that the LAPD paid a visit to her home after receiving a call claiming that she was getting drunk and neglecting her two-year-old daughter Dream Kardashian.

Prior to that, Chyna reportedly got into an altercation with her ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian’s new girlfriend Alexis Skyy.

Apparently, the altercation between Chyna and Buu could have prevented if Chyna had adhered to her custody arrangement with Rob Kardashian.

According to TMZ, Rob was getting ready to drop Dream off Saturday (Jan. 26) with Chyna, but he couldn’t get in touch with her or her nanny, who is the usual third party when they do custody exchanges.

Rob eventually realized where Chyna was once Kid Buu started posting videos of him and Chyna on social media “hanging out.”

Jussie Smollett Pictured With Swollen Face & Bruises After Being Viciously Attacked in Apparent Hate Crime

Jussie Smollet’s facial injuries as a result of him being viciously attacked were apparent in a picture shared on social media by Empire creator Lee Daniels.

Smollett was pictured laying in a hospital bed while on FaceTime with Daniels. The actor—who plays Jamal Lyon in the Fox series—had a cut on his right cheek under his eye and his face appeared to be swollen and bruised.

Jussie was taken to hospital after he was attacked by two men wearing ski masks late last night/early this morning, according to That Grape Juice.

The entertainment blog also shared a photo of a letter that was sent to Fox Studios in Chicago last week with cut out letters spelling out “You will die black f*g.” The envelope the letter was mailed in appeared to say “MAGA” in the top left corner.

Smollett landed in Chicago late Monday night and headed to Subway to grab some food around 2 a.m. when he was approached by two men, TMZ reported.

The attackers reportedly asked Smollett “Aren’t you that f***ot Empire n***a?” before viciously attacking him. He tried to fight them off but was outnumbered and overpowered.

The men also reportedly put a rope around his neck, poured bleach on him, and allegedly yelled “This is MAGA country!” as they left.

Smollett was treated at the hospital for injuries including a fractured rib and was discharged Tuesday morning.

The Chicago Police Department confirmed they are looking into the incident and they’re investigating the attack as a possible hate crime. They’ve also reportedly obtained surveillance footage from a Target and an apartment building close to where the incident happened.

After reports about the incident emerged, Lee Daniels was one of the first to share his support on social media.

“It’s taken me a minute to come to social media about this because Jussie, you are my son,” he said in a video he posted on Instagram. “You didn’t deserve, nor anybody deserves, to have a noose put around your neck, to have bleach thrown on you, to be called, ‘die f**got n**ger,’ or whatever they said to you. You are better than that, we are better than that. America is better than that.”

Daniels continued: “It starts at home. It starts at home… We have to love each other regardless of what sexual orientation we are, because it shows we are united on a united front, and no racist f**k can come in and do the things they did to you. Hold your head up, Jussie. I’m with you, I’ll be there in a minute. It’s just another f**king day in America.”

James Ingram, R&B Legend, Dies From Brain Cancer at Age 66

James Ingram, a legendary R&B singer, has died at the age of 66.

The news was first shared on Tuesday (Jan. 29) via Twitter by Ingram’s friend and creative partner Debbie Allen.

“I have lost my dearest friend and creative partner James Ingram to the Celestial Choir,” Allen tweeted. “He will always be cherished, loved and remembered for his genius, his love of family and his humanity. I am blessed to have been so close. We will forever speak his name.”

According to TMZ, Ingram’s cause of death was terminal brain cancer, which he had been battling for “an extended period,” the gossip site reported.

Jussie Smollett Beaten Up in Homophobic, Racist Attack by Trump Supporters Who Put His Head in a Noose & Screamed “MAGA”

Empire star Jussie Smollett was hospitalized in Chicago Tuesday (Jan. 29) following a homophobic, racist attack from two men who physically assaulted him, put his head in a noose and yelled “This is MAGA country.”

Our friends at That Grape Juice first broke the story. According to TGJ, the 35-year-old—who lives in Chicago while filming Empire—was attacked early Tuesday morning.

TMZ reported that the actor/singer had arrived in Chicago from New York just hours prior to the attack.

Sources close to Smollett said that around 2 a.m. he was hungry and decided to walk to a nearby Subway to grab a bite to eat. As he was walking, someone reportedly shouted at him: “Aren’t you that f***ot Empire n***a?”

Then two white men wearing ski masks viciously attacked Jussie, who fought back but was outnumbered. The men also reportedly put a rope around his neck, poured bleach on him, and as they left, they yelled: “This is MAGA country!”

Jussie took himself to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was treated for injuries including a fractured rib. He was discharged Tuesday morning.

The Chicago Police Department is investigating the attack as a possible hate crime and they’re trying to determine whether any nearby security cameras were able to record the incident.

Empire co-executive producer Danny Strong issued a statement on Twitter in response to the attack, which he called “racist and homophobic.”

“I’m deeply horrified and saddened by the racist and homophobic attacks against @JussieSmollett,” Strong wrote. “He is a kind and profoundly talented soul whom I respect with all my heart. The terror of racism and homophobia has no place in our society, it is the most indecent way to live. Whoever did this, do not forget that you are nothing but hate filled cowards while Jussie’s talent and activism will continue to shine a bright light on to the world for decades to come.”

20th Century Fox has also reacted to the news of the brutal assault on Smollett, saying in an official statement:

“We are deeply saddened and outraged to learn that a member of our Empire family, Jussie Smollett, was viciously attacked last night. We send our love to Jussie, who is resilient and strong, and we will work with law enforcement to bring these perpetrators to justice. The entire studio, network and production stands united in the face of any despicable act of violence and hate — and especially against one of our own.”

Air Force Veteran Who Had No Family Honored By Thousands of Strangers at His Funeral

72-year-old Joseph Walker, a United States Air Force veteran, died alone, but thousands of strangers made sure that he wasn’t laid to rest alone.

KCENTV reports that thousands showed up at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery on Monday (Jan. 28) to attend the burial service for an unaccompanied U.S. Air Force Veteran.

Plans for Joseph Walker’s burial were announced via the Texas General Land Office’s Facebook page on January 24th, and the post was shared hundreds of times.

“We have the distinct honor to provide a full military burial for unaccompanied United States Air Force Veteran Joseph Walker,” the post read. “If you have the opportunity, please come out and attend. We do NOT leave Veterans behind.”

It didn’t take long for the post to go viral and start receiving mainstream media attention. CNN’s Jake Tapper even putting out a call to action via Twitter:

Joseph Walker, born in 1946, served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War Era and was honorably discharged from the service, according to CNN. He “was called by Our Heavenly Father on Monday, November 19th, 2018,” read his obituary.

Gilbert Cavazos—the funeral director at All Faiths Funeral Service in Austin Texas—said that Walker’s family wasn’t able to foot the bill for his wake and funeral services, and they were told that something could be worked out between both parties, however, despite repeated efforts, All Faiths had been unable to reach the family to figure out an arrangement for his burial.

“We have to just have closure now,” said Cavazos. “This gentleman deserves this.”

So many people attended Walker’s burial that vehicles were backed up onto a nearby highway. Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody estimated that were more than 5,000 people in attendance.

“Today, we’re not strangers. Today, we are family. This is our brother, Joseph Walker. I don’t have a whole lot of information, but it doesn’t matter,” a speaker at Walker’s burial said. “Today, we give him honors.”

“All people should have someone there for them at their funeral,” said Irmgard Price, who drove in from a nearby town. “It was an honor to be in attendance for Walker’s burial.”

Kim Porter’s Official Cause of Death Revealed: She Died of Pneumonia

Kim Porter’s official cause of death has been revealed.

The model and actress who was in a relationship with hip hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs for more than a decade was found dead at her home in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, November 15th, 2018. She was 46 years old.

A little over two months later, on January 25th, 2019, the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office released their autopsy results and confirmed that Porter died of pneumonia—inflammation of an entire lobe of lungs.

Sources at the time of Porter’s death said that the model/actress, who dated Diddy off-and-on between 1994 and 2007 and also shared twin daughters and a son with him, had been suffering from flu-like symptoms for weeks.

The Blast obtained a copy of the coroner’s report, which noted that a doctor visited Porter at her Toluca Lake home a few days before her death for symptoms including a 102-degree fever and coughing up a “mild streak of blood with phlegm.” Porter was reportedly given a saline solution drip infused with vitamins to help with her symptoms.

The night before her death, she was reportedly feeling better and had been watching movies with family before going to bed at 11:30 p.m. Housemates checked on her around 11:30 a.m., the report states, and she was found unresponsive with white froth coming from her mouth and a small amount of blood from one of her nostrils, which prompted an immediate call to 911.

Investigators found unopened or partially opened bottles of water, Pedialyte and sports drinks on Kim’s nightstand. Antibiotics, a bowl of tomato soup and some Tylenol were also found on the scene, however, the toxicology report notes that there were no narcotic drugs or alcohol found in her system.

Kim’s official cause of death was listed in the coroner’s report as “lobar pneumonia.”

Diddy and Kim shared three children: twin daughters, D’Lila Star and Jessie James, who just celebrated their 12th birthday last December, and a 20-year-old son named Christian.

Diddy also played a major role in raising Kim’s 27-year-old son Quincy from her previous relationship with R&B singer Al B. Sure.

Diddy and Kim remained friends after their split, and in a statement following her death, Diddy said Kim was more than his soulmate.

“We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER SH*T!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love,” he wrote on Instagram.

Evidence of Diddy and Kim’s close relationship, even though they hadn’t been together officially for more than a decade, was confirmed when they both were on hand to support Quincy at his big movie premiere at Netflix HQ, which would end up being Kim’s last public appearance.

Diddy reportedly footed the entire bill for Kim’s elaborate funeral in her home state of Georgia, and he also delivered a very emotional 15-minute eulogy during the service on Saturday, November 24th, 2018 that brought on tears and cheers from those who attended.

In his eulogy for Kim, Diddy reportedly told his children: “I just want to say to my kids, Justin, Christian, D’Lila, Jessie, Chance and the other man in the house, Quincy: Your mother instilled in me this, and I pledge in front of everybody right now that I will always be there for you. I will always take care of you.”

Diddy even celebrated what would have been Porter’s 47th birthday on December 15th with an extravagant star-studded celebration attended by a number of her close friends, including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, French Montana, Usher and others. “It was a heartfelt gathering of love and dancing,” one source told Page Six.

Terry Crews Offers to “Slap the Sh*t” Out of D.L. Hughley for Mocking His Sexual Assault Allegation

Terry Crews and D.L. Hughley got into a war of words Sunday (Jan. 27) over comments Hughley made about Crews’ sexual assault allegations against his former talent agent Adam Venit.

Venit has since apologized to Crews and also exited his role at the WME agency after the agency reached a settlement with Crews last year.

Last August, in an interview with VladTV, Hughley said he didn’t understand how a man of Crews’ stature could be sexually assaulted by another man.

“I think it’s hard for me to think that a dude with all those muscles can’t tell an agent to not touch his ass … I don’t understand it,” Hughley said. “I think that now everybody’s so into this notion that everybody’s like, ‘It happened to me, too.’ Aye mothaf**ka, God gave you muscles so you can say, ‘No,’ and mean it.”

Crews must have recently caught wind of Hughley’s comments because he called the comedian out on Twitter early Sunday morning.

“Are you implying I ‘wanted’ to be sexually assaulted?” Crews asked Hughley on Twitter. “You saw the video!” Hughley responded. “Sir you said I should have pushed him back, or restrained him and I DID ALL THOSE THINGS… but you act like I didn’t. Were you there?” Crews said to the comedian, who then went on to say: “That’s different than slapping the sh*t outa [sic] him.”

Responding to his comments, Crews addressed Hughley in another series of tweets and also called out 50 Cent, Russell Simmons and Tariq Nasheed for making jokes about the situation.

“I have looked up to you my whole career as one of the funniest most talented people I’ve ever seen,” Crews tweeted. “I remember when I saw you warming up the crowd at FRESH PRINCE OF BEL AIR and I thought ‘this man is a genius.’ But now you are an example of when comedy turns to sarcasm and cynicism. And you find it extremely easy to get jokes at someone else expense. You mock my success, but all I ever did was support you.”

Crews continued: “You, [50 Cent], [Russell Simmons] and [Tariq Nasheed] have decided my sexual assault was hilarious, whereas there are a whole generation of black women and men who don’t think it’s funny. ABUSERS PROTECT ABUSERS but they MOCK SURVIVORS as well. When you see me, keep it moving.”

In a final tweet, Crews quoted Hughley’s ‘that’s different than slapping the sh*t [out of] him’ tweet and wrote: “If you truly feel that is a correct way to deal with toxic behavior… Should I slap the sh*t out of you?”

Birdman Surprises Toni Braxton During Atlanta Concert: Are They Back Together Now?

Birdman reportedly pulled an Offset the other night and crashed Toni Braxton’s performance to try and win her back.

Wednesday night (Jan. 23), the 49-year-old rapper popped up at Braxton’s tour stop at the Fox Theater in Atlanta to “surprise” her on stage.

Offset did it and Cardi B took him back… So, hey, why not, right?

In video footage posted on social media, Braxton can be seen wrapping her hit song “I Love Me Some Him” at the end of her show when she motions to someone off camera to come to her. That someone was Birdman, and the couple hugged before walking off holding hands.

“It was hard to tell if his appearance at her show was actually a surprise, or if Toni knew he was there ahead of time,” one source told E! News. “Toni didn’t appear shocked to some members of the audience, because she looked right over in that direction before Birdman walked out.”

Toni Braxton and Birdman (real name: Bryan Williams) have been dating for years. The couple announced their engagement in February 2018 and were planning an elaborate Great Gatsby-themed wedding when they decided to call things off earlier this month on New Years Day.

“It’s over…” Birdman wrote on his Instagram Stories. He later deleted the post and all of his IG photos. Braxton also scrubbed her Instagram account clean and uploaded a single photo of herself in red dress with the caption: “Starting a new chapter isn’t always an easy choice…but ALWAYS choose to be chosen. Cheers to a new year.”

Fans, at the time, also noticed the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram.

To this day, (TO THIS DAY!) no one knows exactly why Birdman and Toni called off their engagement, but it may have had something to do with their hella demanding schedules.

Before the breakup, Braxton said that she and Birdman struggling with locking down a wedding date. “We have to get married before the year is out. He said, ‘Before next year,'” she told E! News’ Daily Pop. “But unfortunately, in our business, it can be challenging sometimes.”

Reps for Toni and Birdman haven’t responded to requests for comment about the pair’s public reunion.

Did Lolo Jones Get Kicked Out of the “Celebrity Big Brother” House for Slapping Tamar Braxton’s Glasses Off Her Face?

The word on the curb is that Lolo Jones was thrown out of the Celebrity Big Brother house after getting into a heated altercation with Tamar Braxton.

Anytime Tamar is involved in anything with other people, you can expect some type of drama to pop off. So when we heard that she was going to be on Celebrity Big Brother, we already knew something would go down between her and someone else at some point.

Not too long after getting into it with Kandi and eventually squashing their beef, Tamar reportedly got into a physical altercation with famed Olympian bobsledder Lolo Jones in which Jones is said to have slapped Braxton so hard that her glasses were knocked off her face. However, before viewers could see that, the live feed was cut off.

Celebrity Big Brother airs a live feed for subscribers, and on the feed, Tamar and Lolo can be seen having a discussion about drama within the house. The 41-year-old singer says: “Y’all are real funny.”

The 36-year-old Olympian responds: “I’m not real funny. Here’s the problem today, you want me to tell you what happened and then you snap off on me.”

“Don’t start,” Braxton snapped back.

Jones then jumped out of her bed and started shouting: “I’m gonna f**king start because you want to tell me … you asked me what the f**k and then you f**kin pop off. So why the f**k would I not get mad? You do this every motherf**king day. Like, don’t f**king start with me.”

The camera then shows Tamar following Lolo into another room, with Jones saying: “I’m f**king cool.”

“Last night we all f**king stayed up…to make sure you’re f**king cool. Every day you are popping off on us,” Jones says to Braxton who tells Jones to calm down, which pisses her off even more. “What you need to f**king do is calm down and stop f**king popping off on everybody,” she says.

When the two end up in the hallway, Braxton can be heard saying: “Next time somebody call me a bitch I’m just gonna start yanking.”

“Then do it,” Jones dares her.

“Then say it,” Braxton says as she stepped to Jones, and then the live feed cuts off.

Fans online claim that Jones slapped Braxton so hard that those big sunglasses she was wearing flew off, but there isn’t any video evidence to support those claims.

It’s also been rumored that Lolo Jones was kicked out of the house, but that hasn’t been confirmed.

XXXTentacion’s Girlfriend Jenesis Sanchez Gives Birth to Their Son Gekyume Onfroy

Baby Gekyume is finally here!

XXXTentacion’s girlfriend Jenesis Sanchez gave birth to their son Gekyume Saturday night (Jan. 26). The happy news was confirmed by the late rapper’s mother, Cleopatra Bernard, via Instagram.

“Yume has finally arrived,” Bernard wrote in a post on her Instagram Stories around 9:50 p.m. EST Saturday.

Complex was one of the first media outlets to break the news and actually spoke with X’s family, who said that the baby and mother were healthy and doing well.

FYI: The baby’s name is pronounced “GEK-YOOM.”

The family explained the meaning behind the baby’s name in a statement: “Gekyume’s name is derived from a word X created prior to his passing, which means ‘a different state’ or ‘next universe of thought.’ XXXTentacion specifically chose this name for his first-born son; his family is honored to fulfill his wish and shower baby Gekyume with love.”

X’s mom has been providing fans with updates about the baby for the past several months. Just three days after he was murdered in June 2018, she posted an ultrasound photo on Instagram, saying: “He left us a final gift.”

The following August, Cleo announced that her grandchild was a boy, and in December, she revealed that X already knew he was having a baby at the time of his death, and he had already picked out two names: one for a girl and the other for a boy.

X invented the word “Gekyume” and introduced it to the world back in March, just a few months before his tragic death, so his son’s name has special meaning.

“When Jah found out initially about the baby, he had two names already picked out,” Cleo said in a video she shared via social media. “He wanted a boy, he ended up having a boy, and that’s the name that he chose for his son. And so I decided to honor my son and give his only child the name that he chose.”

News of Gekyume’s birth comes seven months after the rapper’s murder. Yume was also born just three days after what would have been X’s 21st birthday.

XXXTentacion (real name: Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy) was shot and killed as he was leaving the Riva Motorsports auto dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida on June 18th, 2019.

Four men—Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams, Robert Allen and Trayvon Newsome—were indicted on charges of first-degree murder and armed robbery with a firearm.

Surveillance footage at Riva Motorsports showed Allen and Williams together just minutes before they murdered and robbed Onfroy, who was carrying $50,000 in a Louis Vuitton bag at the time of the incident, according to Allen and Williams’ arrest warrant.

Mo’Nique Slams Whoopi Golderg: She “Has Always Been the Help” in Hollywood

Mo’Nique has made it clear that she doesn’t want or need ANY advice from Whoopi Goldberg.

Last year, Mo’Nique launched a boycott against Netflix for allegedly refusing to offer her what she believed to be a fair salary for a comedy special.

You see… Mo’Nique was offered $500,000 by Netflix to do a comedy special earlier this year, just a 26th of what Amy Schumer was offered around the same time for her own comedy special.

And Mo’Nique, feeling slighted, attempted to lead a boycott of the streaming giant due to “color bias and gender bias,” posting a video on Instagram:

When she appeared on The View to discuss it, the hosts pointed out that Mo has a reputation for being difficult, referring to her refusing to do promo for “Precious.”

When Mo’Nique tried to explain why she chose not to promote the film at Cannes, Goldberg interrupted her, saying: “I’m going to stop you because, contractually, when you make a movie, regardless of who you sign the deal with, your job is to go and promote said movie … We’ve had this conversation, and I said if you had called me I could’ve schooled you on what was expected.”

Mo’Nique says she doesn’t appreciate the way Whoopi Goldberg came at her. In an interview with Vulture,  Mo said she “felt sorry” for Whoopi, who she believes “has always been the help” in Hollywood.

“When I sat there on that platform on The View, I felt sorry,” Mo’Nique said. “I had empathy for my sister Whoopi Goldberg. Because what you’re saying to me is, ‘You must work for free. I could’ve schooled you.’

She continued: “The very thing I went to The View to speak about was the very thing I experienced on The View. You give me three minutes to talk about inequality? Well, I was there the whole show. When you have a woman saying, ‘I could have schooled you,’ someone would say, ‘What was the schooling going to be?’

“When I look at this woman you say is our icon and our legend—she is. But, how many things has Whoopi Goldberg executive produced? Whoopi Goldberg has always been the help, and I say that humbly. So what is it that you’re going to school me on? I’ve been doing it for almost 30 years.

“This is a woman who says ‘I could have schooled you,’ and this is a woman who accepted Ted Danson in blackface, and our community praises this woman. So oftentimes, we do it to ourselves. But, I just can’t. Understand, I love my sister. However, when you know you’re being fed the wrong food, you must say, ‘I can’t chew this, y’all.'”

Mo’Nique went on to say that she and Whoopi had a conversation off camera after the show, which didn’t change much.

“Whoopi and I did have a conversation after that,” she said. “I was up in Whoopi Goldberg’s dressing room… I said to Whoopi Goldberg, ‘Listen, sister.’ Because she said, ‘Mo’Nique, you gotta let that go. You gotta move on. People just wanna see what’s going to happen to you next.’

“I said, ‘Whoopi, I can’t let it go. I gotta think about the little sister who’s not here yet.’ And our icon and our legend said, ‘You better stop worrying about the little sister who’s not here yet and worry about you.’

“In that moment I knew I was looking at a woman who didn’t give a damn about me. And if she’s telling me, ‘Stop worrying about that little girl who not here yet,’ well, she forgot about the ones that came before her who were worried about her.”

Mo’Nique also talked about Tiffany Haddish’s GQ interview in which she was asked about Mo’Nique’s Netflix boycott and she said she wasn’t going to protest “because somebody got offered not the amount of money they wanted to get offered.”

Asked if she felt hurt by Tiffany’s statement, Mo said: “I understood it. And what I won’t do is throw my sister under the bus. And when my sister did have a bad moment, I said, ‘Y’all, I’m not gonna throw her away.’ What she wrote on her Instagram page and on mine was, ‘I love you, Mo’Nique.’ I understand the business. This business is set up for us to go against one another. I’m not going to go against Tiffany Haddish. They set us up to do this to one another. But what I won’t do is, I won’t feed into it.”

Gucci Mane Reportedly Skipped His Mother’s Funeral Service Over Family Drama

Gucci Mane’s mother passed away earlier this month, and recent reports suggest the rapper may have skipped her funeral last week because he didn’t want to deal with family drama.

According to some social media users, Gucci’s mom, Vicky Davis, passed away on January 5th and he chose to not attend her funeral, reportedly due to issues going on within the family.

You may be asking yourself at this point: What on earth would stop someone from going to your their own mother’s funeral?

Well, apparently Gucci (real name: Radric Davis) and his mother haven’t been on good terms in recent years, and some people are suggesting that the Gucci Mane we’re seeing is a clone.

In October 2017, following the rapper’s lavish, nationally televised wedding to Keisha Ka’oir, Gucci’s brother called him out for not extending an invitation to him and their mom.

“He didn’t let me go to the wedding,” his brother Nate told TMZ at the time. “Me and my mom didn’t go. I feel real bad Ray didn’t invite me to his wedding. I really wanted to be there for him from a brother standpoint.”

Nate continued: “But I’m happy for him. He went through hell. I’m glad he ain’t in prison. But for me not to be invited I don’t know how to feel. I thought I knew you but I don’t even know you. Its hard, its hard. I don’t know, and she doesn’t know.”

Gucci’s brother Nate said for their mom Vicky, watching her son get married would have been “a dream she really wanted to see come true” and he even appeared to question Keyshia’s motives in marrying a man who doesn’t respect his mother.

“At least have your mother there… a man don’t care for his mother, how can he care for you?'” he said.

Asked if he thought he and his mom weren’t invited for “production reasons,” as the wedding was being filmed for a ten-part reality show on BET, Nate said: “You never know… but I don’t know. I guess if you’re at the top, you gotta keep people around you who are at the top with you so you won’t feel left at the bottom.”

Though Nate and their mother weren’t invited to the nuptials, Gucci and Nate’s other broker Duke was the best man.

Gucci Mane and Keyshia Kai’oir tied the knot in an extravagant, all-white wedding ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami.

BET footed the entire bill for the nearly $2 million dollar ceremony and also paid the bride and groom an additional $650K to air a 10-part special called “The Mane Event.”
