A suicide threat tip reportedly sent cops “scrambling” to R. Kelly’s Chicago home … but it all turned out to be a false alarm, according to TMZ.
The gossip site reports that police rushed to R. Kelly’s residence at Trump Tower after an anonymous caller claimed Azriel Clary and four other women who are allegedly a part of Kelly’s “sex cult” had a suicide pact and planned to carry it out.
It turns out … the call, placed from the National Human Trafficking Hotline, was a hoax.
Sources close to Kelly say that police, who just left his apartment, were told by the singer’s attorneys that everyone was fine.
TMZ reports: “It appears the call was bogus, because our sources say R. Kelly had been meeting with his attorneys in his pad for at least two hours before cops showed up.”

Court documents show that parents paid a California man to bribe colleges by presenting their children as athletes so that they would be admitted into high profile and Ivy League schools.
Federal officials say that between 2011 and 2019, at least $25 million was paid to William Rick Singer by wealthy parents of students with poor grades.
The feds say parents paid between Singer $200K and $400K to bribe Singer, while some payments went as high as $6.5 million.
Singer allegedly told the parents they could write off the alleged bribes as tax-deductible “donations” to his non-profit.
According to ABC 11 News, Singer would “steer the money to either an SAT or ACT administrator or a college coach.” The coach would then “arrange a fake profile that listed the prospective student as an athlete,” while college entrance exam administrators would “either hire proctors to take the test or correct the answers of a student.”
Loughlin and her husband allegedly paid Singer $500,000 for their two daughters to get into USC.
The charges brought against Huffman and Loughlin, along with 48 others, include conspiracy to commit mail fraud and services mail fraud. Among those charged include nine coaches at elite schools, one college administrator and 33 parents who paid “huge sums.”
NBC News reports that the schools included Georgetown, Stanford, UCLA, University of San Diego, USC, University of Texas, Wake Forest and Yale.
Felicity Huffman, best known for her role as Lynette Scavo on “Desperate Housewives,” was arrested Tuesday morning (Mar. 12) at her Los Angeles home, and an arrest warrant was issued Lori Loughlin, who famously played Rebecca Donaldson-Katsopolis (aka Aunt Becky) on “Full House,” because she was out of the country when authorities tried to take her into custody.
Loughlin’s husband, Mossimo Giannulli, was also arrested. Huffman’s husband, however, actor William H. Macy (“Shameless”), was not included in the massive indictment.

The boyfriend of Trinity Love Jones’ mother faces a murder charge in the death of the 9-year-old girl whose body was found partially stuffed in a duffel bag on a trail east of Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department announced in a press release Tuesday (Mar. 12) that 38-year-old Emiel Lamar Hunt was arrested in connection with the death of Trinity Love Jones.
Emiel Hunt appeared briefly in court Tuesday morning, but did not enter a plea, KTLA reported. According to NBC Los Angeles, someone yelled “You’ll get yours!” during the hearing. His arraignment has been postponed until April 16th.
Hunt was arrested Saturday after he was found sleeping in his vehicle, which was parked near the San Diego International Airport, the LA County Sheriff’s Dept. said. He was booked at the Norwalk Sheriff’s Station later that day and his bail was set at $2 million.
Hunt was previously identified by the victim’s family members as the boyfriend of Trinity Love Jones’ mother, Taquesta Graham, who has also been detained as a “person of interest” in the case and is also being held on a $2 million bond.
Taquesta Graham has a serious criminal history and is a registered sex offender. According to the Megan’s Law website, she was convicted in 2009 of enticing a minor female for prostitution.
KTLA reported that Trinity’s family members want to know why the girl was allowed to be in the custody of her sex offender mother, and they also want to know more about Graham’s boyfriend, who according to police, was convicted in San Diego County of child abuse in 2005 and spent more than a decade in prison.
Emiel Hunt is accused of killing Trinity Love Jones on or around March 1st, four days before her body was discovered by county workers along an equestrian trail in Hacienda Heights.
One of the workers, who didn’t want to be identified, told KTLA that they were trimming trees in the area when they noticed a black duffel bag.
“We seen the little girl’s head, but at that point, we thought it was a little boy because you couldn’t really see, like, everything,” he said. “She was covered up with grass, like the bush was kind of covering her hair, and then she was wrapped up in a blanket, and she was stuffed in a duffel bag.”
The man described the girl’s face as being peaceful, almost as if she were sleeping.
Trinity’s death has been ruled a homicide by the county coroner’s office, but authorities still aren’t revealing how she died, though investigators did say that they found no obvious signs of trauma on her body.

It isn’t clear whether the girl was reported missing, but an extended family member claimed on Facebook that Trinity was “not reported missing because her mother kept her away from us. Every time we asked about her she would say she was okay. She enrolled her in home school so she basically was with the mother and boyfriend the whole time…we all reached out, we called dcfs. nobody would listen.”
Antonio Jones, Trinity’s father, described her as “just the best. Full of character, full of life, full of joy.”
“Words can’t explain what I’m feeling right now,” he said. “I just want answers. I just want justice.”
If convicted on the murder charge, Emiel Hunt faces a possible maximum sentence of 50 years to life in prison.
Just days after completing probation, Conor McGregor is facing a felony robbery charge after he allegedly destroyed a fan’s phone and ran off with it outside a Miami Beach hotel.
The police report (via The Miami Herald) states that the owner of the phone was walking out of the Fontainebleau hotel around 5 a.m. Monday (Mar. 11) at the same time as Conor. As the fan attempted to snap a quick photo, McGregor allegedly slapped the phone out of the fan’s hands, causing it to hit the ground.
Conor then stomped on the phone several times, severely damaging it, picked up the device, reportedly valued at $1,000, and then walked away with it, the police report said.
Unfortunately for Conor, the whole thing was caught on surveillance cameras, and detectives arrested him the next day at a Miami Beach home.
He was booked into a Miami-Dade jail Monday night for felony strong-armed robbery and misdemeanor criminal mischief over $1,000 and is currently being held on $12,500 bail.
According to TMZ, McGregor has been in South Florida over the last few days spending time with his girlfriend, Dee Devlin, and their son, Connor Jr., along with other family members.
Connor and his family were reportedly in Miami to celebrate his mother’s birthday … and he rented out the world-famous Versace Mansion for the party.
This, of course, isn’t Conor McGregor’s first run-in with the law. Back in April 2018, prior to UFC 223, he was arrested in New York City after he threw a dolly through the window of a bus filled with several UFC fighters.
McGregor was initially charged with two felonies in that case, but ended up pleading guilty to a single disorderly conduct charge. He was sentenced to three days of anger management courses and five days of community service.
Lucky for him .. he just completed probation for that case a few days ago. Had this happened before Friday (Mar. 8), he would have violated probation and would be looking at some serious jail time and possible deportation.
Harris County police officials say that the 42-year-old daughter of boxing legend George Foreman died of asphyxiation after hanging herself in an apparent suicide.
Freeda was reportedly found hanging in a closet in her Houston, Texas home on Friday (Mar. 9).
George Foreman posted a heartbreaking tribute on Twitter after his daughter’s passing, saying that this would be his “first Sunday in 42 years” without Freeda.

Trinity Love Jones has been identified by her family and law enforcement as the young girl whose body was found inside a duffel bag last week near a trail in Hacienda Heights, California.
The Los Angeles County Sherriff’s Department said in a statement Sunday night (Mar. 10) that two people were being held as persons of interest in the girl’s murder.
Although the LA County Coroner’s Office determined Jones’ death to be a homicide, her cause and manner of death were withheld.
Trinity’s father, Antonio Jones, told CBS LA DNA was used to identify her as the deceased girl and the body of the child found had chipped tooth similar to Trinity’s.
Online records show that a man named Emiel Hunt, who says on Facebook that he’s in a relationship with a woman who appears to be Trinity’s mother per other social media posts, was arrested on March 9th and is currently being held in the LA County Jail on $2 million bail and a felony accusation, according to Heavy.
It isn’t clear whether or not Hunt’s arrest is related to Trinity’s death, and the specific charge he’s being held on isn’t known. The second person of interest is believed to be the girl’s mother.
Antonio Jones suggested in a post on Facebook that Hunt is the person who murdered his daughter. “This is the boyfriend of my baby momma who murdered my youngest princess,” he wrote along with a screenshot of Hunt’s arrest record.
The child’s body was found on March 5th around 10 a.m. on an equestrian trail near a Buddhist temple down an embankment. Investigators had been unable to identify the victim, who was initially described as between 8 and 13 years old and weighing only 55 pounds.
Authorities said in an initial statement that the upper portion of the victim’s body was “protruding” from the bag.
“The victim was dumped at the location some time during the late evening hours,” the statement read. “The victim was discovered by county workers who were there clearing some brush. The victim was found partially inside of a black rollaway type duffel bag.”
Sheriff’s investigators released a sketch last week showing a young, skinny girl without shoes, a pink shirt with “Future Princess Hero” written on it and panda pants.
Detectives believe Jones’ body may have been dumped on the trail on Sunday, March 3rd.

Freeda George Foreman, daughter of boxing legend George Foreman, has died at the age of 42.
TMZ reported that Freeda’s body was found by a family member Friday (Mar. 9) in her home near Houston, Texas. A cause of death is not known at the moment, but foul pay is not suspected.
Freeda began her short professional boxing career as a middleweight in 2000. She won her first five fights, but after losing her sixth in 2001, she retired with a pro record of 5-1 with 3 KOs so that she could focus on being a mother.
Freeda’s parents were too keen on her being a pro boxer, so George reportedly paid her to quit.
After her retirement, she went on to become a boxing promoter, and in 2011, she began studying Public Policy at Texas Southern University and eventually graduated from Sam Houston State University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
Freeda aspired to work with non-violent offenders and help them reintegrate into society. On her Twitter bio, she wrote: “Aside from my love of family, being a good mother, wife, and friend, I aspire to make a positive difference in our American Criminal Justice System.”
In 2003, she appeared in the animated comedy series “King of the Hill,” playing herself.

Yet ANOTHER sex tape has surfaced allegedly showing R. Kelly having sex with minors.
Attorney Gloria Allred is reportedly representing a man who claims to have found a NEW tape that allegedly shows R. Kelly having sex with MULTIPLE underage girls.
Allred hosting a press conference in New York City Sunday (Mar. 10) in which her client, Gary Dennis, explained how he found the tape, and why he’s speaking out.
Dennis, who says he has no connection to R. Kelly whatsoever, claims he recently found this new sex tape while going through old VHS tapes of his own. He says he initially discovered the tape as a “sports tape,” but says it also had R. Kelly’s name on it.
Dennis goes on to say that he thought the R. Kelly part of the tape would feature a concert of his, but later discovered it was a sex tape as he continued to watch past the sports content. He says he doesn’t know how this tape turned up in his possession but says he watched it and saw R. Kelly engaging in sex acts with what he perceived to be underage black girls … more than one.
Dennis didn’t go into much detail about what he saw on the tape but did say that the girls on camera were doing and saying things based on R. Kelly’s instructions. Dennis also says the girls appeared to be underdeveloped and that the only man on tape — who he claims looked a lot like R. Kelly — seemed to be in charge of the camera.
The guy says the tape appears to have been produced in the 1990s … adding there’s no indication of where it was filmed.
Allred says they’ve turned over the sex tape to law enforcement officials from U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. She wouldn’t comment one way or another on whether she’d personally seen this new tape herself. However, Allred says she believes more tapes of R. Kelly are in circulation.
This makes the third R. Kelly tape with minors that has been turned over to law enforcement in the past month alone.
Attorney Michael Avenatti has already given Chicago prosecutors two tapes, one of which prompted the 10 count indictment against R. Kelly for aggravated sexual abuse involving minors.
Meanwhile, Avenatti has responded to Allred’s press conference and is casting doubt on the legitimacy of her client’s claims.
Avenatti said on Twitter: “Over the last week, we have had 5 other individuals contact us with tapes that they claim show R. Kelly having sex with underage girls. Upon investigation, they don’t and the individuals would have no reason to have such a tape. Publicizing this ‘evidence’ undermines the process.”

R. Kelly’s attorney, Steve Greenberg, also responded to Allred’s press conference, saying in a statement to TMZ: “R. Kelly denies that he is on any tape with underaged girls. The doubt here is self-evident, with reporting that the man on the tape kinda, sorta looks like R Kelly. That doesn’t make it him. It is not him.”
Greenberg also said he would like to know what investigators plan to do about the fact that Gary Dennis was in possession of possible child pornography.
“Are they going to be prosecuted?” Greenberg asked, adding, “It is obviously now just open season on R. Kelly. It is irresponsible to continue to take the speculation of every Tom, Dick and Harry, and report it as if it is fact.”

Nearly thirty people were injured Saturday (Mar. 9) as a result of heavy turbulence aboard a flight that landed at JFK Airport in New York City.
Initial reports stated 32 people were injured, however, the FDNY later confirmed that a total of 29 patients were evaluated on the scene for non-life threatening injuries.

Officials reported that 45 minutes before Turkish Airlines Flight 001’s landed at JFK, the flight experienced extreme turbulence.

The Port Authority said a flight crew member may have broken a leg, Pix 11 reported. Officials said the rest of the injuries were minor injuries like cuts and bruises.
The FAA released a statement saying:
“Turkish Airlines Flight 1, Boeing 777, landed safely at John F. Kennedy International Airport at 5:35 p.m. after declaring an emergency and reporting that several passengers were injured when the aircraft encountered turbulence… The flight originated in Istanbul.”

According to TMZ, the first brawl happened outside of a Saks store in Manhattan.
Jay was shopping with friends when another up-and-coming young rapper, Lil Tjay, walked in with his crew. Witnesses said both sides exchanged words and then things quickly turned physical.
The fight eventually spilled out into the street (as seen in the first video), and later, when Jay was separated from his boys, you can see him getting kicked in the head and the back(seen in the second video) by two different guys.
The guys who jumped Jay took off with his wallet, his YBN chain and his shoes. Someone even posted this photo of his driver’s license on Snapchat.
The police were called, but neither side wanted to report a crime.
Later, the guys who robbed YBN Almighty Jay took to social media to show off the chain they stole from him.
R. Kelly is, once again, a free man … this time after paying his outstanding child support payment.
The embattled singer was released from Cook County Jail in Chicago Saturday morning (Mar. 9) after he was somehow was able to pay off of the $161,633 he owes to his ex-wife, Andrea Kelly.
According to TMZ, Kelly “scraped together the money with help from a benefactor.”
He briefly spoke to the media after his release, thanking them for their “order” and saying, “I promise you we’re going to straighten all this stuff out, that’s all I can say right now.”
Kelly has been in and out of jail twice within the past two weeks.
He was jailed on Friday, February 22nd after he was indicted on 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse involving minors and released the following Monday (Feb. 25) after a “close friend” put up the $100K needed to bail him out.
The self-proclaimed Pied Piper found himself in jail once again just two weeks later after he failed to come up with the $161K child support owed to his ex-wife himself.
Had Kelly not received the funds from a generous “benefactor,” he would have remained jailed until he came up with the cash himself.
Video footage showing Blac Chyna’s ex-boyfriend, rapper YBN Almighty Jay, getting robbed, jumped and stomped out in New York City is quickly making its way around the internet.
Details are scarce at the moment, but it appears as though the 19-year-old rapper had beef with some guys, and when they spotted him out by himself, they took advantage of his solitude and beat him up.
The video is hella blurry and shaky, but you can clearly see YBN Almighty Jay getting the crap beat out of him.

“That’s the YBN n***a?!” a man yells from behind the camera as the 19-year-old is surrounded by a bunch of guys who can be seen going through his pockets.
“Take his chain!” the cameraman shouts. At that point, YBN breaks free and takes off running.
The 30-second clip then cuts to the rapper outside on the ground with no shoes on and his clothes halfway ripped off. A man can be seen kicking him in the forehead while another kicks him in the back.
Almighty Jay breaks free again and takes off running as another man can be heard in the background yelling “Let him go!”
The guy behind the camera calls him a “pussy” and says “Don’t ever try to pull up us on no f**kin elevator, n***a.”
And for those who dare to question the legitimacy of the footage, the guys who robbed YBN took a picture of his California issued driver’s license and put posted it on social media so you know it’s real.
Some may call this karma … because just last week, YBN Almighty Jay turned himself in to police who were investigating him and his crew for allegedly stealing a $40K chain, a $20K Rolex, and $20K in cash from another rapper, Skinnyfromthe9.
A Florida man is facing multiple felony charges after police say he faked a 911 call then shot at emergency responders.
According to Sarasota police, on January 7th, 2010 around 4 a.m., 32-year-old Tyran Young placed a phony call to 911 using an automated voice that said: “Help, I need help. My address is 2932 Goodrich Avenue Sarasota Florida 34234. Please send help, I fell really hard.”
When paramedics arrived, they were told by the resident at the address that they didn’t place a 911 call.
When the EMS workers returned to their truck and closed the door, they were ambushed by an unknown person, later identified as Young, who opened fire on the emergency vehicle, striking the front driver door at least twice. Both paramedics were able to safely drive away and fortunately, no one was injured.

Sarasota Police Detectives gained probable cause for the arrest after information found on Young’s cell phone showed searches for “text talk message help me I fell and I can’t move my address is 2932 Goodrich Avenue Sarasota Florida 34234 send help please talk text.”
Detectives said Young made a similar fake call back in November 2018 as a “dry run” for the January 2019 incident.
“The men and women of the Sarasota Police Department worked diligently and efficiently to find the person responsible for trying to harm one of our fellow first responders,” Chief Bernadette DiPino said in a statement. “This arrest brings closure and justice to first responders who risk their lives every single day to protect our community and society. The person responsible for putting fear into our city is behind bars and justice will now be served.”
Young—who authorities say is a five-time convicted felon in the state of Florida—was arrested Thursday (Mar. 7) and charged with two counts of aggravated assault on a firefighter, shooting into a vehicle, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and misuse of 911.
He remains at the Sarasota County Jail, where he’s being held on a $700,000 bond.
A West Virginia church burned to the ground early Sunday Morning (Mar. 3), and firefighters were shocked by what they found when they entered the building after putting the flames out.
Not a single Bible or cross inside the Freedom Ministries Church, located in Grandview, W.V., was touched.
In a post on Facebook, the Coal City Fire Department described the blaze as “so hot that at one point … firefighters had to back out,” yet, somehow, “Not a single bible was burned and not a single cross was harmed!” The fire dept. added: “Though odds were against us, God was not.”
One commenter on the Facebook post wrote: “Out of every structure fire I have responded to in the past 20 years, not one Bible has burned, they might have smoke damage or [charred] around the edges but you could still read every page. … It just goes to show that God’s word is more powerful than the devil’s fire and fury no matter how hot it gets.”
Other commenters also shared miraculous stories of unharmed Bibles after fires.
One woman said, while responding on 9/11 to the United Airlines Flight 93 plane crash, she and others “found wallets and papers, blowing in the wind, that were charred and burnt. Un readable. We did however, find a Bible. Untouched. Completely readable.”
Another woman shared: “When our house burned in Texas I had the family Bible laying on dad’s army trunk that he carried around the world doing his tours of duty. The top of the trunk burned a hole through the top where the Bible was laying and it didn’t damage the Bible in any way. I still have both the trunk and the Bible.”
Another commenter wrote: “This happened to mom in her apartment who was fast asleep while the whole complex was on fire and the entire attic above her apartment was burning. Firefighters had to break in to save her. Total destruction to her apartment except for her Bible.”
Other commenters, however, denounced claims that a divine entity was responsible for saving the Bibles inside the church, chalking the whole thing up to simple science.
One person shared: “Not trying to downplay the blessings and miracles God gives us… but books are rarely damaged in fires. If you toss a closed book into a burning fire the inner pages are not burned. My husband, who is a professional fire fighter, and I had this conversation one time when we were watching a cold case show. I asked why the books/documents were not burned even tho there was a huge fire.
“He explained unless its moved and manipulated (poked at with a stick or something to open pages up) the fire will not burn the inner pages bc there is no oxygen flowing thru. You can test this yourself which we did so he could teach me. Have a bonfire toss some old books and dont mess with them. The outside may burn a bit, the edges but the inside of the pages will be completely fine.”
Another cynic commented: “You guys it’s not magic [its’s] science. The Bible is less likely to be a loss or total loss due to the thickness (1000s of pages) don’t you think if God were going to have some sort of divine intervention he would, I don’t know, save the entire church structure? Or keep a family from being homeless, or keep the people in burning structure from dying instead of saving a book?”
Authorities haven’t yet determined what caused the fire, but urged locals to keep the pastor and the congregation of the church in their prayers.
R. Kelly is such a control freak that he refused to let his two young girlfriends conduct their interview without his supervision.
King revealed that prior to her sit-down with 21-year-old Azriel Clary and 23-year-old Joycelyn Savage, which aired briefly Thursday (Mar. 7) on CBS This Morning, Kelly and his team promised her that the singer would not be in the room during the girls’ interview.
King said that once she started the interview, Kelly hid around a corner and would even “cough very loudly” to make sure the girls knew he was listening to them.
King also said that Kelly even walked in on them and tried to stop the interview multiple times.
Clary and Savage—whose parents accuse Kelly of keeping them as “sex slaves” and brainwashing them—spent most of their interview defending their relationship with the 52-year-old R&B star, saying emphatically “we’re with him, that’s our relationship, a very strong relationship.”
When King asked them to clarify if they both were romantically involved with Kelly, they replied that “we both have our individual relationships with him and we’re all a family.”
The women revealed during the segment that they have their moments when they go out to the movies and amusement parks together and took extreme offense to King’s question about whether they in a three-way sexual relationship with Kelly.
“First of all I’m not here to talk about my personal life,” Clary snapped at King, “and I would never share with anyone what I do in or outside of the bedroom, and as a woman, I’m sure you wouldn’t either.”
King said while that may be true, this is a very different circumstance, to which Clary replied: “It’s not a different circumstance, people all over the world have multiple girlfriends.”
Clary and Savage also echoed Kelly’s claims that their families “sold” them to the singer, encouraged them to become sexually involved with him when they were underage, and are now retaliating because Kelly allegedly stopped paying them money.
“My parents told me to lie about my age, so when I first met Kelly, he thought I was 18,” Clary said. “When I was 17, my parents were trying to make me take photos with him, take sexual videos with him. And they said, if they ever had to blackmail him, which they’re trying to do now, they can use it against him, which is exactly what they’re doing.”
“Our parents are out here just to get money,” Savage said, nodding in agreement with Clary.
“They’re starting to send threats to both me and him, they said, ‘I’ll put all your naked pictures all over the world, I’m going to ruin you and him if he don’t send $20,000 to this bank account by Monday, and then $10,000 after that,'” Clary added, before addressing her parents. “You’re trying to solicit me like I’m some kind of f**king prostitute. I’m not, I’m your child.”
After the interview aired, Joycelyn Savage’s family released a statement denying that they ever received money from Kelly.
“At no point was money given to the Savage Family, discussed with the Savage Family, requested by the Savage family or offered to the Savage family,” the statement said. The Savages challenged Kelly to prove his claim, declaring, “In fact, we’ve asked Mr. Kelly several times to produce receipts of such transaction.”
Following the airing of Kelly’s interview Wednesday, the Joycelyn’s family held a press conference condemning Kelly and begging their daughter to reach out to them. Shortly after, Savage called her family and told them she’s “very happy.”
The family’s attorney, Gerald Griggs, shared on Twitter a video of the family’s side of the call, in which Joycelyn said to them: “I’ve told you guys a million, million times, that I’m OK and I’m very happy, you know where I’m at.”
BREAKING: 30 minutes after @AttorneyGriggs held a press conference at his office in reference to @rkelly’s interview with @CBSThisMorning, Joycelyn called her parents.
The video shows Joycelyn’s mother, Jonjelyn Savage, as well as her younger sisters, 11-year-old Jori and 18-year-old Jailyn, asking her “When are you coming home?”
Her mother asks: “How do we know you’re happy if we haven’t heard from you for two years? Why can’t you call your family or friends or come to your grandfather’s funeral or talk to your grandmother who has Stage 4 cancer?”
Griggs said Joycelyn hung up after about three minutes and she appeared to be “reading from a script.”
“When her little sister asked her, how’re you doing, she paused for 45 seconds,” Griggs told USA Today. “She called because she and someone in Kelly’s camp saw our press conference (responding to Kelly’s CBS interview). That broke through whatever control (Kelly) has over her.”
R. Kelly is back in jail following a child support hearing Wednesday (Mar. 6), where he was charged with failure to pay $161K in back child support to his ex-wife Andrea Kelly. Under Illinois law, anyone who fails to pay child support in any amount over $20K can be charged with a felony.
A spokesman for the Cook County Sheriff’s Office said Kelly will remain in the county jail until he pays the full amount he owes. His next court date is set for Wednesday (Mar. 13).
Whoopi Goldberg briefly returned to The View Friday (Mar. 8) to let everyone that she is OK after nearly dying from a very serious bout with pneumonia.
The 63-year-old, who has been absent from the show since early February after contracting pneumonia, appeared via a video update to update fans on her condition.
“Yes, it’s me,” Goldberg said. “I am here, I am up and moving around—not as fast as I’d like to be, but I am OK, I’m not dead. So here’s what happened. I had pneumonia and I was septic. Pneumonia in both lungs, which meant there was fluid, there was all kinds of stuff going on and yes, I came very, very close to leaving the Earth. Good news, I didn’t.”
She continued: “Thank you for all of your good wishes, all of the wonderful things that people have been saying, even people who are not like huge fans of mine have actually said nice things about me. We all know that’s gonna change when I get back, but for right now, it’s brilliant.
Goldberg concluded: “Thank you for everything, and ladies, I cannot wait to see y’all. This has been, uh, interesting and I’ll tell you about it when we’re all at the table.”
