It sounds like R&B/pop entertainer Chris Brown and the iconic hip-hop magazine we all know and love as VIBE Magazine are teaming up to resurrect each other. Chris will cover the magazine’s official “come back issue,” out December 8th. ]
Hip-hop newcomer Drake will also have a shot at being a part of VIBE history as he has the alternate cover of the winter issue.
In the meantime, VIBE has released this one picture of Chris and no, this is not his cover shot. That should be making its way to the front pages of all the blogs shortly though.
(01.) Jay-Z was given the honor of being the top emcee in the rap game for the year 2009, according to MTV. They give most of the credit due to his recent success with his latest album, The Blueprint 3.
Blueprint 3 is another Hov tour de force — and it destroys the myth that there’s an age limit on being a dope MC. At 39 years old, Jay is arguably still better than anybody on the mic today, rhyming with precision and grace. He throws buzzsaws right from the gate on the intro “What We Talking About,” where he raps about what he deems to be nonsense, like dwelling on rap beef.
Here’s “Forever,” a brand new music video from rappers Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Eminem. The track will be featured first on the soundtrack of Lebron James’ docu-movie “More Than A Game” and second on Drake’s debut album, Thank Me Later, set to drop in February 2010.

The former Degrassi star told MTV: “I did this song that no one has ever heard before, ever. It’s a song called ‘Fear’. I recorded it when I did [EP] So Far Gone – the first verse and half of the second verse I had gotten through. But then I just stopped because it was getting eerie. It was getting where I didn’t know if I could finish it. And then the other night I had a moment and I finished the song. That’s gonna be the last song on the retail version of So Far Gone. And the third verse transitions into [album] Thank Me Later. So the last line of the third verse is gonna be the first line on my album.”

Geffen Records recording artist Mary J. Blige premiered “The One,” her new music video featuring up and coming rapper Drake, over the weekend. This track is the lead single from the R&B singer’s upcoming ninth studio album, Stronger, due in stores November 24th!

Young Money’s Drake and Lil Wayne, along with Eminem and Kanye West, have come together to bring us “Forever,” the biggest hip-hop collaboration since last year’s “Swagga Like Us,” according to MTV. This particular track, produced by Boi-1da, is set to appear on the “More Than A Game” soundtrack. And the music video will reportedly be shot sometime in September in New York City. A new track from Jay-Z’s upcoming album Blueprint 3 has leaked. The track is called “Off That” and features hip-hop newcomer Drake. The track could have given us a little more with Drake, but it’s still a hot song never-the-less. And that Drake is really making a name for himself being featured on tracks by big artists like Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, etc. We’re definitely looking forward to Drizzy’s debut album!
