NEW YORK CITY // MONDAY, NOVEMBER 24TH 2008 » Hip-hop mogul Sean Diddy Combs recently revealed a new advertisement for his brand new “I Am King” men’s cologne. The rapper/entrepreneur threw a party last night celebrating the new ad’s placement on a huge billboard in Times Square at The Dream Hotel in NY.

Sean “Diddy” Combs said, “I am really proud of the new billboard and of the message that it conveys to everyone who gets to see it. I Am King is not just about me, but every man. We are all descendants of kings. And if all men believe in that, we can accomplish anything. This image pays tribute to that belief, that ideal.”

Sean Diddy Combs has a new fragrance out, and he’s calling it “I Am King.” The cologne hits stores this December, and guess what else? He plans on using president-elect Barack Obama to promote it, in an effort to “redefine the perception of African Americans.”

Yeah … Obama’s not gonna waste his time with this sh*t. Or at least we hope he doesn’t. Read more at All Hip Hop.

In other Diddy news, we just got an e-mail from CBS telling us about a guest appearance on 2 episodes their hit series, CSI: Miami, that will air sometime in mid-winter. The HNIC of Bad Boy Records will play a prosecutor who butts heads with David Caruso’s character, Lieutenant Horatio Caine.

Since Beyonce decided to call herself “Sasha Fierce,” the internet has been buzzing and downright clowning the singer for doing such a thing. But why can’t she? Everybody else is doing it! Take Lil’ Wayne for example. How many names does he have? You got Dwayne, Wayne, Lil Wayne, Weezy, Wizzle, Wizzard, and however else you can mix-up the phonetics of his name. And what about Diddy, huh? Sean John, Sean John Combs, Sean Combs, Sean “Puffy” Combs, Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Diddy, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Diddy Combs, Dumb Dump Diddy. And that just covers the FIRST decade of his career. Who knows how many there’ll be when he hits the golden ages. Kanye has Ye and Yeezy, Ludacris goes by “Chris” and Luda sometimes, and T.I. calls his alter-ego T.I.P. So we ask again, why not Beyonce?

Peep these new promos from her new album I Am… Sasha Fierce - in stores next Tuesday - November 18th.
