Diddy has big plans to expand his Ciroc Vodka alcoholic beverage line. The hip hop mogul launched his first liquor in 2007 and since then sales have increased six-fold. This has proven his relationship with Ciroc to be promising and long lasting, so now the Vodka brand is looking to expand the Ciroc line to include additional flavors. In the United States, some of the new flavors will be coconut and red berry.
Combs owns over 50 percent of the brand and will reap half of the $2 billion profit it generated in 2008. Sean Combs Enterprises are accountable for brand management decisions in the venture, including marketing, advertising, public relations, events and product placement.
Diddy (who turns 40 Wednesday) will have no problem popping a bottle or two of champagne to celebrate! And of course he’ll probably down a couple bottles of Ciroc too. Hey, why not … he owns 50% of the company!

In but so many words, rapper Shyne, who is fresh off of a 10 year prison sentence, told his former mentor Diddy, “F**k you!!” Shyne told Rolling Stone that Diddy turned his back on him during their 1999 trial by hiring lazy lawyers to help defend him. Diddy escaped a guilty verdict, while Shyne was sentenced to 10 years in prison. And the former Bad Boy recording artist says he was shocked when he heard Diddy on the radio talking about how he had spoken with him and reporting that he was in “good spirits.”
Diddy’s publicist had no comment on Shyne’s legal woes Tuesday, but the mogul recently told Hot 97 that he spoke with Shyne in prison.
“He sounded like he was in good spirits,” Diddy said. “I know he can’t wait to get home. I know he is definitely going to heat the whole scene up. He was definitely one of the talented young artists that I had the pleasure to work with.”

Shyne says he never spoke with Diddy, nor does he intend to unless Diddy changes his act.
“I want it known that this supposed conversation is a figment of Sean Combs’ imagination,” he says in a statement. “He never spoke with me, he never visited me nor would I ever accept a phone call or visit from him. The only way I would do either of those things would be if he stepped up and did the right thing for the victims of the incident.”
SOURCE
Shyne’s father, Belize Prime Minister Dean Barrow, reportedly wrote to NY Governor David Patterson and asked him to pardon his son (born Jamal Barrow) so that he is not deported from the country and forced to return to Belize. Shyne, who is currently in the custody of U.S. Customs, was sprung from prison Tuesday after serving 8 years behind bars. Shyne was born in Belize but grew up in Brooklyn with his mother. His father wants to make sure he’s able to remain the U.S. to continue his rap career.

Hip-hop mogul Diddy and his son Christian were spotted as they left the movies Saturday (Sep 26) in Los Angeles, CA following the premiere of the Lebron James documentary/movie “More Than A Game.”
It was recently announced that Diddy has decided to leave Warner Music Group after 5 years.
The rapper’s 2006 record Press Play was the only album he released during his exclusive deal with Warner Music Group/Atlantic Records – set to end in a matter of days. His Bad Boy music label will remain in place at the company – but Combs admits he is looking forward to putting out new material as a solo artist through an as-yet-undisclosed venture.
He says, “Now that the term of the Warner deal has ended, I have elected to accept an opportunity to move my recording career and future label venture to another company.” A WMG spokesman and a Warner Bros. Records spokeswoman had no comment.

Diddy and Cassie, our favorite unconfirmed couple, were spotted as they made their rounds in uptown New York City Monday morning (Sep 14). When Diddy noticed the flashing lights approaching him and his girl, he tried to cover up his face before the two decided to split up and go in separate directions.
What a way to evade those rumors guys … not! Everybody knows you two are smashing. No point in hiding it now!
