According to recent reports, rappers Bow Wow and Jim Jones have both been dropped from their recording label, Columbia Records. It’s no secret that Bow Wow has been feuding with his label, having taken to Twitter to complain about lack of promotion and attention, in addition to making note that artists like Beyonce received more support.

After hooping it up with Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Tucker and Bow Wow at Shaq’s crib, Chris and Bow Wow hit up the bowling alley where he announced a new album, a new single, gave a shout-out to his fans and let everyone know that he’s “not a monster” via Bow Wow’s Justin.tv page.

“I just wanna say what up ’cause I ain’t been out there in a minute, but a new album’s gonna be coming soon, called Graffiti… I’m about to drop a single this summer for y’all, we ain’t going nowhere… Everybody out there that’s haters, they just been haters. All my real fans, I love y’all … I ain’t a monster.”

Bow Wow says he’s done it all as far as his music career goes, and now he feels like it’s time for him to put the mic away and focus on his acting career. We couldn’t be more excited!

“This is my last album because for me, there’s no more that needs to be done on the music side, I’ve done everything. The scary thing is I’m 22 years old and I’m young. I’m still a baby, so it’s kinda like on the music side, I’ve been doing it since five. That’s 17 years of non-stop music, music, music. There’s nothing more to accomplish that I haven’t seen yet. I feel like now it’s time to endure a new challenge, close the chapter on the Bow Wow legacy. As far as albums, I’m good. Seven albums at 22, that’s crazy.”

His latest attempt at music, New Jack City II, flopped HARD, selling less than 30,000 copies in its opening week! We’re not sure how an act as big as Bow Wow can end an opening week with numbers that low, but we do agree that it’s time for him to find something else to occupy his time because music is NOT it. Looks like Bow Wow’s love for Angela Simmons is a one way street with a dead end. Bow Wow professed his love for Rev. Run’s daughter saying that she was the love of his life in his feature for Giant Magazine. The two had been romantically linked in the past, and for some reason little Shad just can’t let go. But Angela wants everyone to know that she has a new boyfriend (from Texas) and is NOT checking for Bow Wow, but she wishes him the best of luck. Rapper Bow Wow has publicly declared his love for Angela Simmons. The 22-year-old FLOP told Giant Magazine that the daughter of Joseph Simmons aka Rev. Run is the “love of his life.”

“Angela Simmons is the love of my life. She’s a young black woman doing something incredible. She’s a CEO of a company at 21 years old and a positive role model for kids.”

Angela Simmons needs a real man … not a little kid who’s pretending to be a grown man who can’t even sell 30,000 albums. Plus, she’s too fall for him. And we just don’t like him that much around here.

Either he was really tired or really drunk, but Jermaine Dupri was caught passed out d-e-a-d snoring in the hallway after a Bow Wow’s album release party last night.
