A posthumous track featuring recently slain rapper Doe B has been released on the web.
“Flying With Angels,” one of the stand-out tracks on DJ MLK’s mixtape ‘Good Night Don’t Exist in ATL 3,’ is a collaboration between Doe B and his Grand Hustle boss T.I.
On the hook, Doe B raps:
“Gotta live life, ’cause the day you die, that’s the day you become famous.”
It’s almost as if he knew his life was going to be cut short. Eerie.

Demi Lovato may be able to give Ke$ha a few words of advice … now that the “Dirty Love” singer has checked herself into a rehab center for an eating disorder.
According to reports, Ke$ha is currently receiving treatment at Timberline Knolls, which is located just outside of Chicago, and is the same place where Demi Lovato was treated for her eating disorder back in 2010.
In a statement released Friday, Ke$ha, a reported vegetarian, announced that she plans to spend the next 30 days at the facility.
“I’m a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I’ve found it hard to practice,” she told TMZ. “I’ll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder … to learn to love myself again, exactly as I am.”

A woman from Indiana was arrested last week and is facing charges of battery with a deadly weapon and criminal confinement after she allegedly held her daughter’s boyfriend against his will and sliced his penis with a boxcutter because she thought he had molested her 2-year-old son.
According to Sheriff’s deputies, 35-year-old Bonita Lynn Vela told them she was suspicious that the 18-year-old man had molested her son.
While speaking with police, the man was said to be adamant that he had done no such thing, and Vela admitted to police that her belief that he had molested her young son was influenced by drugs.
Vela told police that she had been smoking marijuana, but she wasn’t sure whether she had taken any other drugs prior to the incident.
The 18-year-old boyfriend of one of Vela’s daughters wrote a statement in a meeting with investigators, telling them that he was brought by a friend of Vela’s to her Franklin trailer park home, where he was forced to remain for three hours while Vela threatened his life.
The teen said in the report Vela demanded to know if he molested her son, and she said she was “going to take him out, shoot him in the head and tie him down to a tree so the animals [would] eat him.”
The 18-year-old said she then told him to drop his pants so she could “cut his [penis],” and if he didn’t comply, “she was going to have people hold him down and she would cut (his penis) all the way off.”
Vela allegedly told the teen to choose between his life “or his penis,” and he complied, out of fear, at which point Vela tried to stab him with a knife, but after no blood was drawn, she switched to a box cotter.
The man said he was afraid that Vela and her acquaintances would “go to great lengths to hurt or kill him.” He also said he feared someone had used a cellphone to record the incident.
Vela provided a written statement of her own, and admitted to being lout and shouting at the man to get him to admit to molesting her son.
She told police that she sent a friend to bring the man to her, and her “anger just grew” throughout the encounter. The man reportedly begged her not to call the police and was insistent that he never even touched her son.
But her crazy ass just would NOT listen. She reportedly said if he “didn’t have anything to hide then he should let her ‘cut him’ and that regardless of what happened he was to leave and never come back.”
Vela told police that she was holding the box cutter in her hand, but the man “knocked it out of her hand,” and that’s how his penis was cut, or so she says.
The police report said Vela was concerned about the man and asked officers “several times how (the man) was doing and wondered if he was going to ‘make it.'” She told investigators that her intentions wasn’t to hurt him, she just wanted to scare him.
Crazy Ass Bonita Vela was taken to the Johnson County Jail, where she remains in lieu of a $28,000 bond. Police said the investigation into Vela’s molestation claim is ongoing.

Well, now that’s all a distant memory, as of Friday (Jan. 3) after the Tigters won the 2014 Orange Bowl — their first BCS bowl victory — against the Ohio State Buckeyes at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida.
The final score was 40-35 and Clemson’s win comes 32 years after the Tigers’ last victory in the game — the 1981 Orange Bowl that gave Clemson a national title, USA Today Sports reports.
“Bad things happen in life,” Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said. “Two years ago, we got our butts kicked on this field, but it’s how you respond that matters.”
Clemson responded in a big way, posting a bowl victory against a Top 10 opponent for the second consecutive year to cap the first back-to-back 11-win seasons in school history.
The Tigers (11-2), who entered the game ranked No. 11 in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll, also positioned themselves for a second consecutive Top 10 final ranking.
“I can’t think of a better way to give back to the school than a victory in this game,” said Boyd, who also rushed for a career-high 127 yards and another touchdown. “It was a very impressive victory for this team, this university.”
It was impressive, particularly considering where Ohio State (12-2) had been less than one month ago. The Buckeyes were ranked No. 2 and poised for a national title game appearance before stumbling against Michigan State in the Big Ten championship game on Dec. 8.
Clemson unleashed a potent offensive attack against the Buckeyes, but it took every yard and every point to subdue the Buckeyes.
The Tigers amassed 576 total yards, including 198 rushing — the most allowed this season by a Buckeyes defense that ranked No. 3 nationally against the run. Clemson averaged 7.6 yards per play and went 7-for-13 on third down conversions.
“It has been a long journey to get back (to the Orange Bowl), but we are Orange Bowl champs again,” Swinney said. “And we are the first team from the state of South Carolina to win a BCS game.”
Wide receiver Martavis Bryant also stood out in what could possibly be his final game, scoring himself 28 yards and two touchdowns.

Well, according to Billboard, ‘Beyoncé’ — which features 14 tracks of awesomeness and an accompanying video for every single song, and then some) — is the NUMBER ONE album in the country for the THIRD straight week.
The album has sold over 1.3 million copies since its December 13th release (and it wasn’t even available for sale, physically, in stores until Dec. 21st AND Amazon & Target are being b-holes and refuse to sell the album because they’re h8ers and don’t want Beyonce to be even greater than what she already is. F*ck those h8ers.)

The album has now sold 1.3 million in its first 17 days of release in the United States.
“Beyoncé” is the first album to spend three weeks at No. 1 since Justin Timberlake’s “The 20/20 Experience” logged three straight frames atop the list (April 6-April 20, 2013). “Beyoncé” is the first album by a woman to notch three weeks at No. 1 since Taylor Swift’s “Red” claimed seven weeks at the top (non-consecutively) in late 2012 and early 2013.

Oh, and, since we’re talking about numbers and all … at the time of this posting, Beyoncé and Jay Z‘s “Drunk In Love” video has over 30 million views on Vevo/YouTube.

Along with some of her closest friends — including her BFF Melissa Forde, model Cara Delevingne and her assistant Jennifer Rosales — Rihanna closed out 2013 and brought in 2014 with an epic New Year’s celebration.
The evening kicked off with an intimate dinner hosted at RiRi’s $14.6 million penthouse in New York City and it featured a multi-course meal put together by her personal chef.
The ladies toasted to 2014 and then headed to Jay Z’s 40/40 Club, where Rihanna hosted a New York’s Eve countdown, popping bottles and smoking in VIP with her peeps.
Of course she shared every single moment on Instagram to her more than 10 million followers, because that’s what she does, and she does it very well.

Miley Cyrus was one of the most talked about Pop stars in 2013, and 2014 already looks like it’s not going to be any different.
The Internet was abuzz with news yesterday that Miley had some very not nice things to say about Beyoncé in an interview with Love magazine.
The actual issue hasn’t been released yet, yet the celebrity website Hollywood Life posted quotes allegedly taken from Cyrus’ interview with the UK publication, in which she purportedly called herself the “best” and a “total package,” compared to Beyoncé, who she reportedly referred to as old and washed up:
“Beyoncé has been a big inspiration to me but she’s been out for such a long time. She’s so talented and I think she’s at the top of the game now but people are always looking for new blood and that’s what I bring to the game now, new blood. I got the total package, you know? The curves, the rhythm, and the voice. I’m just the best.
“As Beyoncé grows into motherhood and all the crap it does to your body, it will create a vacuum for fresh young faces to rise up and no one else can properly fill that void right now. I’m the only white female singer that could fill that slot right now and do it right, you know? I just feel like I was born for this time right now. All things must start and end and I hope to have the same successes as other icons in the game when my run is over. But for now, my run is just starting.”
A number of sites (including Perez Hilton and The Daily Mail) picked up the story and its accompanying quotes, but some either deleted or updated it after Girl Billy Ray caught wind of it and fired off a series of tweets saying that she would NEVER diss Beyonce, because … DUH!
According to the serial twerker, those quotes were “made up,” and Love Magazine later backed her up, confirming that the quotes Hollywood Life posted were indeed fabricated.
Perez Hilton even joined in on the Twitter “discussion” and admitted that he found the quotes on The Daily Mail, while also trying to kiss Miley’s ass a bit too.

It looks like Ludacris is following in the foot steps of NBA star Dwayne Wade … because the rapper/actor/business man has just welcomed a new baby to his family, and the child’s mother is NOT his current girlfriend.

His new daughter Cai Bella Bridges was born on December 9th 2013 … and according to TMZ, Ludacris — who already has another daughter named Karma who is 11 years old — knows he’s the daddy, but he’s worried Tamika “will go in for the kill.”
So to save his pockets from being murdered, he has filed legal docs (obtained by TMZ, of course), claiming that he only makes about $26,000 per month on average, which, under Georgia law, would set his monthly child support payments at around $1,700.

Baby Everest is Lucas’ first biological child, since his other three children were adopted.
Lucas and Hobbs — a Chicago native and Princeton grad who also just so happens to sit on the board of directors of the Starbucks Corporation, Dreamworks SKG and Groupon — met at a business conference in 2006 and have been dating ever since.
The couple got engaged in January 2013 and were married by June of that same year at Lucas’ “Skywalker Ranch,” no less. Baby Everest was born in August via surrogate.
Congrats on the new baby George … we wish you and the fam the best of luck! This just shows that it’s never to late to have kids!

VH1 reality star Chrissy Lampkin was arrested early Sunday morning for beating the hell out of a girl at a New Jersey bar.
According to TMZ, Lampkin, who stars alongside her rapper fiance Jim Jones on “Chrissy & Mr. Jones,” was taken into police custody at around 2:30 a.m. for aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.
The fight allegedly started after the woman Chrissy jumped on sat on the sofa she was sitting on and accidentally bumped into someone. It was so bad that the victim reportedly required several stitches above her eye.
Jim Jones came to Chrissy’s rescue after her arrest and bailed her out a few hours later.
These chicks better learn … Chrissy ain’t the one to be f*cked with!

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union got engaged last week, and this week, news broke that the basketball star had fathered a baby boy with another woman (who is NOT Gabrielle Union, just so you know…).
According to an exclusive report from ET Online, 31-year-old Wade and 41-year-old Union were on a “break” from their relationship when the baby was conceived, and Union was well aware of the child before their engagement.
The newly engaged couple has also reportedly worked through the issue privately, and Wade is said to have known his new son’s mother, Aja Metoyer, “for many years.”
The baby’s birth certificate states that Wade and Metoyer named the child, who was born on November 10th, Xavier Zechariah Wade.
Wade confirmed the reports in a news conference Monday in Denver. “I had a time, a part in our break, in our pain and our hurt, a blessing came out of it in my life, having a son that was born healthy,” he said, according to the Sun Sentinel.
The Miami Heat guard added, “I’ve always tried to show my importance in my kids’ lives and it doesn’t change now. So, I, my lady and my family have continued to move forward, and I think that’s evident with the ring and the proposal that I gave her.”
A devoted father, Dwyane Wade already has two sons from his previous marriage, and he has full costudy of both boys (Zion & Zaire), after a nasty custody battle with his now ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches. Wade also has full custody of his nephew Dahveon Morris and raises him as his own.
D Wade and Gabby have been dating since 2008, and the couple hinted at their recent engagement before it was even announced by sending out Christmas Cards together from the “Wade/Union Family.”

Sources say August felt “some type of way” when Rich Homie’s security wouldn’t allow August access to the stage while he was performing.
August allegedly waited backstage for Rich Homie Quan’s set to be over and that’s when the altercation took place.
Some say August put the “paws” on Rich Homie Quan and knocked him out cold, while others are saying it was actually Quan’s DJ Lil Keem who got into the scuffle.
Both camps are denying any serious altercation happened and no one was “knocked out cold.”

Actor James Avery, best known for his role as the patriarch on the popular 90’s show “Fresh Prince of Bel Air,” has died at the age of 68, according to TMZ.
Sources close to the actor tell TMZ he died in an L.A. hospital last night. Avery had recently undergone surgery for an undisclosed illness and took a turn for the worse late yesterday.
And we’re told his wife, Barbara, had been at his bedside but left for a short period of time to get something to eat. When she came back, she learned he had just died.
Avery’s TV son Alfonso Ribeiro tweeted that he was “deeply saddened” to learn of his passing, saying that he was a “second father” to him.
