Robin Thicke’s #AskThicke Twitter Q&A Backfired, Turned Into Hilarious Troll Fest

Celebrities and public figures often use Twitter to “feel closer” to their fans and the general public alike, but sometimes the freedom of the popular micro-blogging network results can backfire in a number of (usually hilarious) ways.

On Monday (Jun 30), VH1 asked Twitter to submit their “burning questions” to Robin Thicke for a Q&A session using the hashtag #AskThicke.

Normally, this would be a good idea, considering Thicke’s album was coming out the next day, and these days, artists need all the promotion they can get. But VH1 and Thicke’s team soon realized how bad their idea actually was.

As it turns out, Twitter did, in fact, have several burning questions for Mr. Thicke: questions about consenting to sex, his rapey lyrics, his failed marriage with his estranged wife Paula Patton, the fact that he’s begging/stalking the hell out of her, why he chose to wear a Beetlejuice outfit the VMAs last year, etc…

Here are some of the highlights:

Dear Twitter: Never change.

Justin Bieber’s Wild House Party with Floyd Mayweather Jr., Tyrese, Johnny Manziel & Others Attracts Police Attention

Justin Bieber threw a WILD party at his new Beverly Hills condo (the same place where his new neighbors are already complaining about excessive noise and “hotboxing”) late Monday night (Jun 30)/early Tuesday morning that was attended by some of his famous friends like Floyd Mayweather Jr., Tyrese, Tyga, Chantel Jeffries and NFL player Johnny Manziel.

But according to reports, the Biebs’ had to shut the party down early after some his neighbors called the Beverly Hills PD, once again complaining about the excessive noise. No word of hot boxing (aka smoking a BUNCH of weed in an enclosed space), but the noise complaints were enough to bring the Po-Po out.

From TMZ Sports:

We’re told cops responded to the home and they spoke with someone at the residence — not Bieber — and the gang complied and cranked the tunes down.

But a short time later, cops went BACK to the pad after someone complained about the packs of young girls (Beliebers) who were screaming and making noise in front of Justin’s crib.

It’s not the first time cops have been to JB’s home — police were there recently to deal with similar fan issues. FYI — Justin’s only been in the home a couple of weeks.

50 Cent Sells TV Show to Comedy Central After “Power” is Renewed for Second Season

Hot on the heels of the debut of his new show “Power” on Starz, along with news that the show has already been picked up for a second season, 50 Cent has announced that he just sold another television series to Comedy Central.

“I bet a HATER will get tired of hating,” he wrote on Instagram Friday (Jun 27). “Before I lose passion,I just sold another TV show,COMEDY CENTRAL #smsaudio #power.”

50 Cent serves as the executive producer of the Starz original series “Power,” which debuted on June 7th and stars Omari Hardwick, Naturi Naughton, Joseph Sikora and Lela Loren, while Fiddy and La La Anthony also make appearances.

The series follows James St. Patrick aka “Ghost” (Hardwick), who in addition to owning a popular NYC nightclub is also a major player in one of the city’s biggest drug cartels, but he wonders if he can successfully run a legitimate business after initially open the club just to clean his money.

Hardwick said of working with 50:

“It was pretty amazing. He’s tried… and proven in other parts of his life, as a mogul, as a Rap artist. It was really interesting for me to see him take on the executive producer hat of a show like this.

“He had done producing before…but to see him be active and take my phone call on the dime…If I’d call and go, ‘We really need you on the set today.’

“We have an incredible cast, so it wasn’t just me, it would be me speaking for the cast and going, ‘Folks need your energy today.’ And he’d be down in like 30 minutes. He was really active…He’s great to work with.”

Shia LaBeouf Reportedly Checks Into Rehab After Drunken Arrest in NYC

Following a whirlwind week of bad things happening (urinating in public, fighting with a homeless man over a hat, and being dragged out of a Broadway production of “Cabaret” in handcuffs after acting the damn fool), complicated not famous person Shia LaBeouf has reportedly checked himself into a private rehab facility.

X17online, who broke the story, actually followed Shia to the rehab center Monday afternoon (Jun 20) to confirm, which is kind of creepy, but whatever:

We followed the actor from his Hollywood Hills home, just an hour ago, to a private facility where other stars have sought treatment — driven by someone believed to be from the rehab facility.

When the car arrived at the gated drive to the center, a nurse and security guard were there to great Shia. In fact, earlier in the day when we spotted Shia in his driveway, we noticed he was carrying the Alcoholics Anonymous Big Blue Book.

Our photographer tells us: “Shia was nervous; he didn’t look good all morning. He was looking down and wasn’t even talking to his driver. It looked like he didn’t want to do it, but he knew he had to.”

According to Radar Online, Shia has been dealing with issues related to substance abuse for a long time:

The actor admitted long ago to attending AA meetings as a child, accompanying his father. He managed to stay on the straight and narrow as a teen, crafting a promising film career, but after a 2007 arrest at a Walgreen’s for what he admitted was “intoxicated” behavior, and a 2008 drunk driving arrest, it was clear he was developing issues of his own.

More recently, in January 2014, Shia announced he was retiring from public life after he was caught plagiarizing the comic Daniel Clowes. He also plagiarized his apology about plagiarizing, and then not even a week later, he took his plagiarized apology back.

Then, a month later, at the Berlin premiere of his movie “Nymphomaniac,” he wore a paper bag over his head that read “I’m not famous anymore.”

Just last Thursday (Jun 26), the troubled actor was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, criminal trespass and harassment at the Broadway show “Cabaret.”

According to reports, LaBeouf was a drunken mess when cops hauled him away during the show’s intermission after he grabbed the butts of several actors and threatened police, telling them he would “f*ck them up.”

As he was escorted from the building in handcuffs, Shia reportedly cried, told cops the fact that they were arresting him was “f*cking bullsh*t” and asked them “Do you know my life? Do you know who the fuck I am? Do you know who I am?”

Some reports even state he called one officer a “fag” and was muzzled with a face mask because he wouldn’t stop spitting at police.

He also continued to act up at the police station, where he did pushups as cops tried to calm him down. A police source told the New York Daily News, “He’s cursing. He’s jabbering away. He won’t shut up.”

Hopefully Shia gets the help he needs.

Khloe Kardashian Worried About Rob’s Hard Partying & Drug Use

Following reports of Rob Kardashian no longer speaking to his older sisters Kim and Khloe (after bailing on Kim and Kanye’s wedding back in May), comes new reports that Khloe is actually very worried about her younger brother’s drug use and hard partying.

Last week, TMZ reported that Rob’s family wants him to get help for his “very bad drug problem.”

Our sources say the family is well aware of what has been going on with Rob, depicted by these photos during a drug-fueled party a few days ago.

You can see Rob holding a double cup … the container of choice for Sizzurp. The cup on the table actually has the words, “Codeine Boys” emblazoned on it. He’s also seen smoking weed.

We’re told the Kardashians have been calling rehab facilities, but Rob refuses to go. They feel desperate because they don’t know what to do and hope pictures like these may change Rob’s mind.

So wait. Kris Jenner (who else?) actually sent these somewhat damaging photos of Ro
b to TMZ for them to publish for the whole world to see … to teach him a LESSON? Well, OK then…

Now, Hollywood Life is reporting that Khloe was “rocked to her core” over the news of Rob’s wild partying.

“Khloe can’t think right now; she’s just in disbelief right now that her little brother is going through these issues. She realized he’s been troubled for a long time now but was in the dark that it’s reached this level,” our insider reveals. “She can’t deal. She feels low because she’s been through this before with her ex and it’s all too familiar and another earthquake that’s rocked her core.”

Khloe has been trying to get in touch with her brother, and to find out what’s on his mind and what she can do to make him better, but she hasn’t been able to do either.

“She would drop her entire life for him,” our source continues, and Rob “knows that. And that’s what killing her the most. He has everything, every resource of Khloe‘s and the family’s at his disposal but choosing not to use them. It’s a slap in the face.”

Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian had a “Dirty 30” birthday party on a yacht last week, and Rob was reportedly nowhere to be found.

However, amid the reports of Rob ceasing communication with his sisters, oddly enough, Rob sent her several loving tweets on her birthday last Friday (Jun 27).

Khloe and Rob have always been close (he lived with her and Lamar for a while), so the reports about her being worried about him and these tweets he sent to her on her birthday shouldn’t be too much of a surprise to anyone … but it’s still good to see/hear about Khloe reaching out to him and vice versa.

Gearing up to release his next album Seen It All, Young Jeezy preps us by dropping his new single, which is the album’s title track and features Jay Z.

The track was produced by Cardo and was originally recorded for Jay’s Magna Carta Holy Grail, but ended up on the cutting room floor for whatever reason … but no worries, as Jeezy picked the song up and is now releasing it as part of his new project.

Jeezy’s fifth studio album is due out September 2nd.

You can listen to “Seen It All” below, but if you want to take it with you, you’ll have to click here to buy it on iTunes.

Justin Bieber Rescues Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s Kids After Car Crash

When three of Floyd Mayweather Jr.‘s kids got into a bad car accident Sunday (Jun 29), Justin Bieber reportedly “came to the rescue” by picking them up and bringing them to their dad who was at the BET Awards and wouldn’t have been able to reach them otherwise due to the traffic surrounding the Staples Center & Nokia Theater.

According to TMZ, Floyd was on the red carpet of the 2014 BET Awards Sunday afternoon when he found out his kids were involved in a bad car crash in Los Angeles.

It just so happens that Floyd was on the phone with Justin Bieber at the time, and he told Justin he was sad about having to stay on the red carpet, which meant he couldn’t be there for his kids.

From TMZ:

Bieber happened to be in an SUV not too far away from the crash and jumped into action, racing to the scene. Biebs told the cops he was friends of the family and wanted to check on their well-being.

We’re told it was a multi-vehicle collision … several cars and a motorcycle. The kids were not seriously injured — one had a busted lip — and Bieber tried comforting them by playing his new music for them.

Bieber was then allowed to put the kids in his SUV and drove them to Floyd … then returned to the accident scene to inform cops the children were with the boxer.

Super Justin to the rescue!

Here’s a photo of the accident scene:

Nicki Minaj Tells BET Awards Crowd About Near-Death Experience

Allegedly shading Iggy Azalea wasn’t the only thing Nicki Minaj did Sunday night (Jun 29) at the BET Awards.

As we previously reported, for the fifth straight year in the row, Nicki took home the award for “Best Female Hip Hop” artist, and even though she’s won the award FIVE YEARS IN A ROW, she still managed to steal the show with her acceptance speech.

Via FoxNews.com:

The rapper rambled onstage when accepting her fifth consecutive win for best female hip-hop artist, where she thanked Lil Wayne for his support, talked about writing her own lyrics and about getting the credit she deserves in the industry.

“The other day, literally I didn’t tell anybody this, I really thought I was about to die. Like, I was saying my prayers to die. And I didn’t even want to call the ambulance because I thought, ‘Well if I call the ambulance, it’s going to be on TMZ,'” she said, as some of the audience laughed.

“And I would rather sit there and die,” she added, looking to the crowd. “And it made me realize I don’t care what anybody got to say. I’m going to do me.”

Nicki — who took to the stage earlier in the night to perform her single “Pills N Potions” — has yet to explain what the f*ck she was talking about.

Forbes Says Beyoncé is the Most Powerful Musician in the World

Bow down, b*tches!

Beyoncé has been crowned the world’s most powerful musician by Forbes magazine after an amazing year that featured a massive world tour, a surprise album and several lucrative endorsement deals.

According to Pollstar, Queen B played nearly 100 shows, bringing in an average of more than $2 million PER SHOW, and she also surprised fans with an out of the blue album release last December.

She also scored several multi-million dollar endorsements with big names like H&M and Pepsi, not to mention her line of fragrances (“Heat,” “Rise,” and “Pulse”) and her clothing company House of Dereon.

All together, Forbes estimates that Beyoncé put at least $115 million in the bank between June 1st 2013 and June 1st 2014, landing her atop Forbes Celebrity 100 list, which also features names like Dr. Dre, her husband Jay Z, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and more.

From Forbes:

FORBES’ annual Celebrity 100 list ranks the top stars from the worlds of movies, TV, music, sports, books and modelling based on money and fame.

We estimate earnings by talking to lawyers, producers, agents and other in-the-know folks to figure out how much over 200 celebrities earned from entertainment-related business in the past year. That includes things like music sales, upfront pay on movies and endorsement work.

Our time frame for earnings this year is June 1, 2013 to June 1 2014. We don’t deduct for things like taxes, agent fees or the other expenses associated with being a celebrity.

We measure fame in a variety of ways. We count how many times each celebrity was mentioned in print, on TV and radio. We factor in a score from StarCount for social media power over 11 platforms including Twitter TWTR +0.1%, Facebook and YouTube.

This year we’ve also added an impact score, similar to the one we use for our Power Women list. Based on reporting by our editorial staff, the number measures the impact each celebrity has on the entertainment industry and our culture overall.

We put all of those numbers into an algorithm to come up with our final list. Justin Bieber had the highest ranking for social networking power but because of his low impact this year, he only ranked 33rd on our list, down from ninth last year.

Yahoo Renews Cult Hit “Community” For Sixth Season

Last spring, Internet giant Yahoo made it very clear that they wanted to jump into original programming, much like Netflix, Hulu and Amazon, and now that they have struck a deal with Sony Pictures Television to develop a brand new season of the cult hit TV show “Community,” it looks like they’re well on their way to making their “Yahoo Screen” service a true competitor.

From Mediaite:

After a deal with Hulu fell through last week, Yahoo has officially come to Community’s rescue Monday, announcing it will produce and stream a sixth season of the show that NBC canceled this spring. 13 new episodes will be available for streaming on Yahoo Screen starting this fall.

In a press release, series creator Dan Harmon poked fun at the show’s one-time competition, saying, “I am very pleased that Community will be returning for its predestined sixth season on Yahoo. I look forward to bringing our beloved NBC sitcom to a larger audience by moving it online. I vow to dominate our new competition. Rest easy, Big Bang Theory. Look out, Bang Bus!”

“’The reports of our cancelation have been greatly exaggerated.’ —Mark Twain (The other version of this quote has been wrong for years),” star Joel McHale added in a statement of his own. “#SixSeasonsAndaMovie is real. Thank you Sony. Thank you Yahoo. Thank you Dan Harmon. And thank you to the greatest f%$#ing fans in the history of the human race. It’s the internet. We can swear now.”

Finally, Kathy Savitt, CMO of Yahoo added, “Yahoo is all about connecting the best creators to the audiences who love their work. Community has an incredibly passionate and loyal fan base who have fought hard to keep this amazing show alive. We couldn’t be more excited to work with Dan, Joel, and the entire cast, as well as Sony, to deliver a great season 6.”

The casts’ contracts expired today, June 30, making it the last chance for show to get its highly-anticipated online renewal.

It is reported that the upcoming sixth season of “Community” will be its last, but fans need not fret because a movie is rumored to soon follow.

Back in the spring, show runner Dan Harmon said:

“I mean, if they do a sixth season, I have to participate. And having done that, if the movie has to be made out of clay and duct tape in my basement, then that’s how the movie will be made, because there has to be closure. The title of the book about the show is not ‘Community, An Interesting Journey into a Show No One Ever Watched.’ The title of the book is obviously going to be, ‘Six Seasons and a Movie.’ So it’s already over. Sometimes our hands are just tied up in fate.”

Are you looking forward to another season of Community and a possible movie?

Extremely Drunk Chris Brown Gets Carried Out of BET Awards After Party

Chris Brown must have really enjoyed himself last night!

After performing live on stage for the first time since being released from jail earlier this month, Breezy partied it up at one of many 2014 BET Awards after parties at Hollywood nightclub Playhouse … and got so drunk that he had to be carried out by two of his friends.

TMZ managed to capture footage of a drunk Breezy being helped out of the club.

Chris’ girlfriend Karrueche Tran (who we have to say is one of the most ride or die chicks ever) was waiting outside of the club for him in an orange lambo and made sure he made it home safely.

Maybe Chris Brown has some loyal people in his circle after all.

Let’s just hope his P.O. (Probation Officer) turns a blind eye to this, because drunk/high + probation = bad.

Did Nicki Minaj Throw Shade at Iggy Azalea at the BET Awards?

Uh-oh… looks like another Hip Hop beef is brewing!

For the fifth straight year in a row, Nicki Minaj won the award for “Best Female Hip Hop Artist” at the BET Awards and during her acceptance speech, she offered remarks that some people have taken to be a diss toward T.I.’s Hustle Gang artist Iggy Azalea, whose career has really taken off over the past year.

While accepting her award, Minaj referenced writing her own lyrics, an apparent jab at Azalea, who allegedly uses the talent of ghostwriters for her songs.

“What I want the world to know about Nicki Minaj,” she said, “when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it … I hope and pray that BET continues to honor authenticity.”

After everyone in the crowd expressed how shocked they were, Nicki quickly said, “No, no, no shade, no, no, no shade,” but that didn’t stop folks on Twitter from calling it how they saw it:

For what it’s worth, Nicki also kinda sorta “took over” Iggy’s “Fancy” performance when the BET cameras cut to her:

Iggy Azalea has yet to respond regarding to the allegations of shade being thrown at her.

Watch Tiny Straight Up Diss Floyd Mayweather Jr. on the BET Awards Red Carpet

OUCH!

Floyd Mayweather Jr. got the cold shoulder from Tiny last night at the 2014 BET Awards.

Tiny was in the middle of finishing an interview on the red carpet when Mayweather made an attempt to get her attention.

But before he could even approach her, Tiny simply kept it moving and ignored whatever Floyd had to say to her.

Back in May, Mayweather and T.I. came close to exchanging blows in Fatburger in Vegas all over Floyd’s relationship with Tiny.

We think Tiny handled the situation in very mature manner. No need for entertaining the foolery; stick by your man girl!

Rick Ross Fires Back at “Washed Up” BET Awards Host Chris Rock

Rick Ross didn’t find Chris Rock‘s jokes at the 2014 BET Awards funny at all.

Last night, Chris hosted the show and took jabs at several celebrities … everybody from Solange and Jay Z to T.I. and Paris Hilton

But it was Ross who the comedian continued to roast throughout the whole evening.

From Fusion.net:

In his opening monologue, Rock mentioned Dr. Dre’s accomplishment of making three billion dollars from selling his headphone company, Beat By Dre, to Apple.

Rock said Rick Ross is releasing a new brand of headphones “dia-Beats” and it can be “placed on your swollen foot before you chop it off.” He then continued his assault on Ricky Rozay and his weight by saying he’ll be the first rapper to die from breast cancer.

Chris Rock mocked Ellen’s ordering pizza during the Oscars, when she passed out slices to the crowd. Chris Rock wanted to put his own spin on it, and passed out L.A. soulfood staple, Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles, to the crowd. He then took out a salad and said “this one is for Rick Ross.”

There was a portion in the show when Chris Rock claimed that there wasn’t enough time to announce all of the awards on- air. He announced the winner for the “Worst Interracial Sex Tape” award. He said the winners were Rick Ross and celebrity chef, Paula Dean

Ross, who wasn’t in attendance at the BET Awards, tweeted in response to Rock’s jokes.

Rozay also congratulated singer August Alsina for winning an award for “Best New Artist”.

We have to admit Chris Rock did go in on Rick Ros pretty hard … but dammit the sh*t was funny!

Beyoncé & Jay Z Perform “Partition” Remix at the 2014 BET Awards

Driver roll up the partition please!

Beyoncé and Jay Z are currently “on the run,” but that didn’t stop the Hip Hop power couple from delivering a surprise performance at the 2014 BET Awards.

Though Bey and Jay weren’t actually in Los Angeles to perform live on stage, they were able to use pre-recorded footage from their “On The Run Tour,” namely their performance of a remix of “Partition,” Beyoncé’s latest single from her self-titled album, to close out the show.

Jay started off the performance with an intro verse, in which he reportedly took a dig at TMZ, rapping, “Left the curtains open for the paparazzi, a little TMI for you TMZ.” While many believe he was talking about that elevator fight with Solange, he could’ve actually been talking about paparazzi photos like this, as HuffPost Entertainment pointed out.

After rapping his verse, Jay sat back and let his sexy wife take center stage as she danced seductively on a pole.

Robin Thicke Makes Another Desperate Plea to Paula Patton in 2014 BET Awards Performance

Robin Thicke really needs to quit with this whole “Paula I’m so sorry, I miss you, please come back to me baby!” thing he’s doing, because every time he does it, he looks more and more desperate.

Dedicating songs/performances to her hasn’t worked, naming his album after her hasn’t worked, and even acting like a sad, lonely mess in his “Get Her Back” music video (obviously dedicated to Paula…duh) didn’t work, but somehow, he still truly believes he can squeeze a second chance out of his failed marriage with one of the most beautiful women in the world. HA!

“I’d like to dedicate this to my wife,” Thicke said ahead of his “Forever Love” performance last night at the 2014 BET Awards. “I miss you and I’m sorry.”

We’ve said it before, we’ll say it again and we’re gonna keep saying it: LET. IT. GO. DUDE!
