Kanye West was forced to end a concert in New York City tonight early after he received news mid-performance that he described to the audience as a “family emergency.”
The rapper was performing “Heartless” as he wrapped up the final minutes of his headlining set at the inaugural Meadows Music Festival Sunday night (Oct. 2) when he abruptly stopped the music and told the crowd, “I’m sorry. I have a family emergency. I have to stop the show…”
Concertgoers rushed to upload video footage of Kanye’s abrupt stage exit to social media.
“Dude just ran on stage and grabbed Kanye and he said, ‘Sorry guys, family emergency I have to leave the show’ and just ran off the stage,” Twitter user Joe Berg said. “It was wild, too because Kanye ignored the dude at first like on some ‘I can’t leave’ and dude wouldn’t leave without Kanye leaving with him.”

It turns out, the family emergency had something to do with Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian, who is currently traveling abroad in France for Paris Fashion Week.
According to Kim’s spokesperson, she was robbed at gunpoint inside her hotel room “by two armed masked men dressed as police officers.” Mrs. West was said to be “badly shaken but physically unharmed.”
While Kim was traveling with her mom Kris Jenner and sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, it’s unknown if they (or her children North and Saint West) were with her at the time. It also isn’t known whether or not the armed, mask robbers were able to get away with any of the reality star’s valuables.

Claudette welcomed fraternal twins Isaac and Isaiah via C-Section on Sunday (Sept. 25) shortly after her 60th birthday. The twin boys are her first children. WTF?!?

For nearly 20 years, we’ve not only marveled the talent of Venus and Serena Williams, but also their close relationship. Well, the two might not be on the same page when it comes to police brutality because Venus just uttered those dreaded dismissive words: All Lives Matter.
Earlier this week, Serena received much praise after revealing her concerns about police brutality in a heartfelt Facebook post. While being driven by her black 18-year-old nephew, the tennis star couldn’t help but reflect on all the things that could and have gone wrong as a police car followed behind them. She now promises she “won’t be silent” regarding the matter and the post went viral.
So what was Venus response to his sister’s declaration?
“I haven’t seen the post. I think all lives matter, so… I can’t really comment.”
I don’t know why we continuously have to explain why this (sometimes) well-meaning statement is so problematic when it comes to the Black Lives Matter Movement. I guess some celebrities would rather face a Twitter dragging than actually try to understand the issue. Venus was not immune to Twitter’s wrath.

Simmons is a socialite and fashionista known for her appearances on the reality shows Run’s House and Growing Up Hip Hop. She first announced her pregnancy on Instagram back in May and revealed she was having a boy in June.
“We are overjoyed and super excited to receive a blessing this big! Starting a family was something that I could have only dreamed of,” she wrote at the time.
Simmons also announced her engagement to Atlanta-based businessman Sutton Tennyson earlier this year, however, their relationship was plagued with cheating rumors soon after they announced they were expecting a child.

The six-year-old boy who was severely wounded in Wednesday’s (Sep. 28) shooting at Townville Elementary School in South Carolina has died.
Jacob Hall was shot, along with a classmate and their teacher, at around 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday by a disturbed teen boy named Jesse Osborne, who also shot and killed his father before driving to the elementary school and opening fire on the playground. Some of the kids said they heard Osborne yell “I hate my life!” as he hopped the fence and fired shots in the air.
Hall was immediately airlifted to Greenville Memorial System, where he underwent emergency surgery and remained on life support in critical condition for three days.
Hall died on Saturday, October 1st surrounded by his family.
Here’s everything we know about Jacob Hall and the shooting:
1. Jacob Hall was shot in the leg through his femoral artery. After spending 3 days in the hospital, he died due to him suffering a brain injury as a result of massive blood loss from the shooting.
6-year-old Jacob Hall is currently being treated at Greenville Memorial Hospital, which is about 40 miles north of Townville, South Carolina.
Officials said Hall was hit in his leg and the bullet went through his femoral artery. One of the largest arteries in the human body, the femoral artery is the main artery that transports blood between the legs and the heart.
The Greenville Health System released the following statement Thursday night (Sep. 29) regarding Hall’s condition:
“Jacob was shot in the leg. The bullet hit his femoral artery, causing massive blood loss, which led to cardiopulmonary arrest. He has undergone surgery and a number of procedures to try to stabilize his condition. He remains in critical condition.”
Hall’s family also released their own statement and confirmed to the Greenville News that he was on life support. “We’re waiting and hoping for a miracle,” said Gerald Gambrell, one of Hall’s older brothers.
As you all know, our nephew Jacob Hall was one of the victims in the senseless shooting at Townville Elementary Wednesday afternoon. The support and love that has been shown by the entire state has been overwhelming and very much appreciated.
Jacob is a very sick little boy and is fighting for his life. Due to the massive blood loss he has sustained a major brain injury. Jacob is in very critical condition, and we are hanging on every second.
Please continue to pray for Jacob and the other victims of this horrible, senseless act. Thank you all for respecting our family as we prepare for the days ahead.

After Jacob passed away, his family released an updated statement:
“Our son, Jacob Hall, who was shot at Townville Elementary School on Wednesday, died today surrounded by family at Greenville Health System Children’s Hospital. Jacob came into our lives six years and four months ago and changed it completely. He showed us how to love, laugh and smile even on days we did not want to. God gave him to us and he was taken away from us by a senseless act. We know that Jacob has already forgiven this child for what he did to him and his family because that’s the kind of child he was. Jacob was sent to this earth for this short a period of time to show us that there is such a thing as pure love. Jacob is in heaven with God now and everyone who loves him. Words cannot express how much we will miss him.”
“Jacob was a tremendous fighter but was unable to overcome the catastrophic blood loss and resulting cardiopulmonary arrest caused when the bullet hit his femoral artery,” said Dr. Keith Webb of GHS (Greenville Health System) Children’s Hospital. “We grieve for the loss of this little boy and pray for his family as they work through this extraordinarily difficult time.”
2. Jacob reportedly “died twice” and had to be revived, once on the way to the hospital, the other time, at the hospital while in surgery.
Jacob was playing outside when 14-year-old Jesse Osborne opened fire on the playground at Townville Elementary School. Some students reported hearing Osborne shout “I hate my life!” just moments before the shooting.
In a widely shared post on Facebook, State Rep. Alan Clemmons, a friend of Jacob’s family, wrote that the little boy “died twice and was revived.”
The post read, in part:
The bullet ripped through little Jacob’s femoral artery. He died twice, and was revived, during medical transport and again during surgery. He’s in ICU now where a team of doctors are working to stabilize him. Once stabilized, he will face yet another surgery. PLEASE join me in fervent prayer for little Jacob’s recovery. Thank you!!!
Clemmons shared in an update (via Jacob’s grandfather) the following day:
The good news is that the six year old victim continues to fight, though his condition is still critical. The shot that severed Jacob’s femoral artery required immediate chest surgery to staunch the blood flow. Grandaddy Steve is awaiting word on whether his little grandson’s condition has stabilized sufficiently to enable required followup surgery.

3. A GoFundMe page was set up and met its $100K goal and then some.
In an effort to offset the insurmountable medical bills Jacob Hall’s family will receive as he recovers from his injuries, a man named Travis Page, on behalf of Jacob’s parents Rodger and Renae Hall, set up a GoFundMe page that went viral on social media and quickly reached its $100K goal.

According to the Greenville News, the fundraiser’s initial goal was $10,000, then after quickly reaching that goal, it was raised to $50,000, and now, after surpassing that number, the goal was pushed to $100,000, which, once again, was met.
GoFundMe announced Thursday that it had contributed $5,000 to the fund. “Our thoughts and prayers are with Jacob and his family,” the company shared in a statement. All in all, the GoFundMe raised $126,586 for Jacob’s family.
4. Meghan Hollingsworth, the teacher who was shot, told first responders “to take care of Jacob and not worry about her.”
Jacob was one of four shooting victims Wednesday. After shooting and killing his own father, the 14-year-old shooter, Jesse Osborne opened fire on the playground outside of Townville Elementary School, where he shot 6-year-old Jacob, one of Jacob’s classmates (another 6-year-old boy) and their teacher Meghan Hollingsworth.
According to NBC News, Townville Fire Chief Billy McAdams said in a press conference that Ms. Hollingsworth was more concerned with Jacob’s well-being than her own. McAdams said that as he and a school nurse tended to Jacob and the other wounded student (who, fortunately, didn’t suffer any life-threatening injuries), Hollingsworth told them “to take care of Jacob and not worry about her.”
As McAdams assisted the injured, volunteer firefighter Jamie Brock went to the back of the building an spotted the teen gunman. “Feeling that it was imperative to the safety of the students, the teachers and all the responders that were onsite, he immediately confronted and subdued that shooter,” McAdams said, adding that Brock kept the suspect on the ground until police arrived to take him into custody.
School administrators have called Brock “a hero” and noted that the quick-thinking actions of the school faculty/stuff everyone else involved may have prevented the tragedy from being worse. “He tried to fire his way into the classroom,” Joanne Avery, superintendent of Anderson School District 4, told NBC News. But “he was never allowed to access the building, and that’s because the staff knew how to lock down the school.”
5. Jacob Hall was described as a “smart” boy who loved to smile and often could light an entire room up with his bubbly personality.
Gerald Gambrell said his little brother Jacob is a smart boy and “the top of his class in first grade.” He said Jacob loved to go to school in Townville, the only place he’s known as home. Hall attends Oakdale Baptist Church, which is about 4 miles down from the school and also served as the pickup location for parents after Wednesday’s shooting.
“He comes in Sunday School every Sunday morning with just a smile on his face,” said Oakdale’s associate pastor, Tim Marcengill. “He’ll make you laugh and tell you he loves you. And he loves the Lord, and he knew that the Lord loves him. Several weeks back, his grandfather led him to faith even though he’s 6-years-old, he had an understanding. He’s able to just make everybody in there on a Sunday morning light up.”
Gerald Gambrell added, “[Jacob’s] a wonderful kid. He doesn’t deserve any of this at all. No child in this world deserves this…It’s just heartbreaking and miserable that it happens to be my little brother.”
6. Jacob Hall was laid to rest Wednesday, October 5th following his superhero-themed funeral.
Jacob’s life was celebrated with a superhero-themed funeral at Oakdale Baptist Church in Townville.
Mourners dressed as superheroes (or at the very least wore a superhero t-shirt) in honor of Jacob’s passion. Crowds of Captain Americas, Batmans, Supermans, and more filled the church as Jacob laid in his baby blue casket donning the costume of his favorite superhero — Batman.
Jacob’s funeral even had Batman himself show up in his Batmobile and Batman also delivered the eulogy.
An investigation has led to police arresting three men in connection with a quadruple murder in Holly Hill, South Carolina last year.
Here are some things to know about the case:
1. The victims were all shot execution-style, but one survived.

In July 2015, police were called to a home in Holly Hill, S.C., where they found two adults and two teens brutally murdered. They later identified the bodies as 14-year-old Tamara Perry, 17-year-old Shamekia Sanders, 28-year-old Krystal Hutto, and 50-year-old Jerome Butler.
The two teens and Hutto were found shot to death in bedrooms in the home. Butler was found outside the home shot to death. 8-year-old Dreamzz Nelson was critically injured in the shooting, but survived his injuries.
Police said that the victims were all shot execution-style. The shooter(s) were unknown at the time.The two teens, Perry and Sanders, were half-sisters.
2. Police have now arrested three suspects.
After receiving a tip, Foley Police Department SWAT team and US Marshals Service arrested Derrick Warren Coleman and Antly Jermaine “Jackie Man” Scott this week at a home in Baldwin County, Alabama. Coleman was arrested on Monday (Sep. 26) and Scott was arrested the following Tuesday.
Authorities say the two men had been living at the home in Alabama for a short time and the homeowner had no idea about their connection to the crimes. Both men are being held at Baldwin County Jail on a “fugitive from justice hold” and are awaiting extradition back to South Carolina, WKRG reports.
Robert Lee “Pockets” Bailey, 37, was also arrested on Tuesday (Sep. 27) in Eutawville, S.C. in connection with the murder.
All three men are being charged with four counts of murder, one count of attempted murder, one count of first-degree burglary, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
According to The T&D, Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said in an interview in July that deputies and investigators spent more than 20,000 man-hours on the case and conducted at least 200 interviews.
The three suspects are from the Eutawville/Holly Hill area of South Carolina.
3. Police say the motive behind the quadruple murder was a robbery.
Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell told News19 that the murders had to do with illegal drugs and a burglary attempt. Ravenell also said the men could be facing other charges.
“I won’t get into specifics but it had something to do with illegal drugs,” he said. I’m anticipating some charges, if that’s murder, if that’s the case, that will be. But I do believe there will be other charges coming.”
4. One of the suspects, Derrick Coleman, has been in the news before.
Derrick Coleman was severely injured in a motorcycle accident in 2009. Good samaritans pulled him from under the burning car he was trapped under and saved his life. Following the accident, a benefit was held to raise money for his medical expenses.
Coleman grew up in Baldwin County, Alabama.
5. Robert Lee “Pockets” Bailey, another one of the suspects, is claiming his innocence.
Robert Lee “Pockets” Bailey appeared in court on Thursday and told an Orangeburg County Magistrate magistrate “I’m not no murderer.”
According to Bailey, he drinks and smokes, but wouldn’t kill anybody.
“I would never hurt nobody. I might drink and smoke and whatever, but this right here is totally wrong,” he said. “They are going to see I am innocent and I am still innocent when the time comes. I didn’t do that.”
6. The father of the slain teens was arrested for crimes not related to the murder.
The father of the two teens killed in the slayings was arrested last fall on drug charges. He is being held in custody at the Orangeburg County Detention Center.
Christopher Wright was jailed on August 6 on two drug trafficking charges, three unlawful conduct toward a child charges and one charge each of obstruction of justice and trafficking cocaine.
Wright is also the father of Dreammz Nelson, the 8-year-old boy who survived the shooting. His attorney David Williams said he is relieved to know that justice is continuing to be sought in the case.
14-year-old Jesse Osborne shot multiple people at Townville Elementary School in Anderson, South Carolina on Wednesday afternoon (Sep. 28) after shooting and killing his own father in their home.
Here’s everything we know about Jesse and the shooting:
1. Jesse Osborne shot two students and a teacher at Townville Elementary, and he could be tried as an adult.
According to reports, as children were being led outside for recess, the teen ran a pickup truck into a fence surrounding the playground before stepping out of the car and opening fire around 2 p.m. on Wednesday. A teacher called 911 and reported the shooting.
Two male students were struck by bullets. One in the leg, the other in the foot. A teacher was also shot in the shoulder. One of the male students, 6-year-old Jacob Hall was airlifted to the Greenville Hospital System Pediatric Trauma Center and is listed in critical condition. The other student and first grade teacher Meghan Hollingsworth were treated and released from AnMed hospital in Anderson.
Investigators say there was no relationship between the teen and the victims at the school. Immediately after the shooting, students at Townville Elementary School were evacuated from the school to a nearby church. The school is surrounded by working farms and has around 285 students that attend. It is said to be predominantly white.
Jesse Osborne appeared in front of a judge for the first time on Friday, September 30th and he was charged with multiple felonies, including murder and three counts of attempted murder. The Independent Mail’s Mike Ellis, who was at the court hearing, said that Osborne’s family members were in the courtroom “dabbing their eyes.”
Jesse, who is 14, is currently being charged as a juvenile, though that could later change. South Carolina law states that a minor is considered someone under the age of 15, and anyone 16 years or older is considered an adult.
Jesse could be tried as an adult if a prosecutor recommends it, however, the final decision is up to the judge, who would take various factors into account, like his school records, behavior at home, prior offenses and the seriousness of the current charge.
Jacob Hall died of his injuries at Greenville Memorial Hospital on Saturday, October 1st, adding an additional murder charge to Jesse Osborne’s charges.
It was later revealed that a third student was also injured in the shooting and there was a petition for another attempted murder charge. The exact nature of their injuries weren’t revealed, however, officials said they were “minor” and didn’t require any medical attention.
Anderson County Tenth Circuit Solicitor Chrissy Adams said there were also new petitions for five counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime against Osborne.
“Due to circumstances of the suspect being a juvenile, along with child victims, there are confidentiality laws which apply to these matters,” Adams said in a press release. “My office will update the public and the press as those laws allow as further case developments occur.”
2. The teen was initially apprehended by a volunteer fireman.
After shooting two students and a teacher, Osborne was apprehended by volunteer firefighter Jamie Brock, who was one of the first to respond to the scene. Brock managed to wrestle the teen to the ground until law enforcement arrived. Brock was unarmed when he took the teen down.
“Firefighter Brock is absolutely a hero. He wants to remain humble and quiet about it. He believes he did nothing any of the other volunteer firefighters wouldn’t have done,” Scott Stoller with Anderson County Emergency Management said.
Brock is a 30-year veteran of the Townville Volunteer Fire Department.
Osborne was taken into police custody and was being held at the Greenville County Detention Center Juvenile Facility.
3. The boy killed his father, Jeffrey Osborne, before the shooting, and his grandparents found his dad’s body.
Authorities say that prior to the shooting at Townville Elementary, the teen shot and killed his father, 47-year-old Jeffrey D. Osborne, at their family home, which is 3 miles away from the school.
According to Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore, Osborne was home alone with his father when he shot him multiple times in the den. The teen’s mother was at work at the time of the shooting. The boy is said to have been homeschooled and had taken online classes earlier in the day.
Authorities say they received a 911 call from the teen’s grandparents shortly after the shooting at Townville Elementary School reporting that their grandson called them “crying and distraught” about 1:44 p.m. The grandparents told cops that they went to the home on Osborne Rd. to see if their grandson was there. The teen was not there when they arrived, but they found their son’s body.
Jeffrey Osborne was laid to rest in a funeral service Sunday (Oct. 2) at Oakdale Baptist Church in Townville. He was buried at Double Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
4. Jeffrey Osbourne reportedly had convictions for marijuana possession and domestic abuse.

Jacob’s father, Jeffrey Osborne, was also reportedly a convicted criminal. According to the Daily Mail, the elder Osborne was convicted of a marijuana offense in April 1991, and he was found guilty of “criminal domestic violence” more than four years later in December 1995. The following year, in March 1996, he was convicted of property damage.
Mr. Osborne, who had been running a poultry farming business up until his death, had also reportedly been declared bankrupt and had three separate companies file liens on him dating back to 2005.
5. Jesse Osborne yelled “I hate my life!” before shooting.

Capt. Garland Major of the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said that police don’t believe the shooting was racially motivated, considering the shooter was white and the three victims were also white. He said they also did not believe terrorism was a factor.
A witness said the teen allegedly screamed “I hate my life!” moments before the shooting. Katrina Jones told Greenville Online that her 6-year-old niece was on the playground when she heard the teen say he hated his life.
6. The teen’s mother, Tiffney Osborne, allegedly bought him guns and smoke grenades.
Social media is accusing the teen’s mother of buying him the guns he used in the school shooting and to kill his father. There’s an alleged a screenshot floating around, taken from the teen’s mother Tiffney Osborne’s (now deleted) Facebook page, that shows her commenting on buying her son handguns and smoke grenades.
Though Tiffney, who reportedly works as a dental hygienist, hasn’t commented on the accusations, she released a statement on the shooting via her pastor James South:
“Our entire family is absolutely shocked and saddened by the senseless actions of our son and grandson. We are praying and will continue to do so for the two precious children who were wounded, and for their courageous teacher who was wounded while rescuing the children. We cannot express the devastation we feel at the loss of our beloved Jeff. We are thankful to have friends who have expressed their sympathy and support to Tiffney at the loss of her husband. Please pray for our family that the Lord will help us as we face this unimaginable ordeal.”
South also revealed to WYFF that Tiffney found out about the shooting through media and had no contact with her son.
“Tiffney is still trying to grasp the thought that her husband has been killed and that her son did it,” South said. “Right now she is just blown away. She realizes it happened but it hasn’t sunk in.”
7. Jesse Osborne was said to be a “nice” kid.

A neighbor to the Osborne’s told reporters that the family lived at their home for at least 10 years and kept a chicken farm for most of that time.
He said he saw the teen on the morning of the shooting and waved at him. “He seemed like the nicest kid,” the unidentified neighbor told Greenville Online.
The neighbor also shared that he heard gunshots two nights before, but thought it was only target practice. “Dunno what makes kids just snap like that,” he said.
8. South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley and the school district’s superintendent released statements.

In response to the shootings at Townville Elementary School, S.C. Governor Nikki Haley said in a statement:
“As we work together with law enforcement to make sure they have the support they need to investigate what happened in Townville, Michael and I ask that everyone across South Carolina join us in praying for the entire Townville Elementary School family and those touched by today’s tragedy.”
Anderson County District 4 superintendent Dr. Joanne Avery released a statement saying “We are heartbroken about this senseless act of violence,” and asked for everyone to keep the community in their prayers.
Avery also said that school has been canceled for the rest of the week and counseling services would be available to students.
9. Jesse Osborne may have been a former student at the school.
While authorities said the teen didn’t attend the school, there’s evidence that he may have been a previous student at Townville Elementary School.
A 2013 honor roll listing from the school published in the Independent Mail shows a fifth grader named Jesse Osborne, who had achieved all A’s and B’s for the first nine weeks of school.
WSPA also reports that Osborne was expelled from West-Oak Middle School after bringing a hatchet to school last year, and that is the reason he was home-schooled.
10. A GoFundMe was set up to help the family of 6-year-old Jacob Hall, who died of his injuries on Saturday, October 1st 2016.
While Jacob was in the hospital, in an effort to help ease the financial burden on Jacob’s parents, a GoFundMe page was set up by a close friend of the family.
“As most of yall have heard, Townville Elementary School had a shooting and one of the casualties was this sweet lil boy, Jacob. I am a friend of his parents and know the sweet lil fella. I’m starting this GoFundMe to help with them due to the fact that Rodger and Renae will need to be with him as much as possible which means they will have to miss work. Any donation is helpful so that they can be with their baby and not have to worry about bills piling up on them.”
Jacob’s parents, Rodger and Renae Hall, also released a statement thanking everyone for their prayers.
“We appreciate the community’s support, especially the Townville Rescue Squad who treated Jacob onsite and brought him to the hospital,” they said. “We appreciate everyone’s thoughts and prayers and ask for privacy during this difficult time.”
After three days in the hospital, Jacob Hall died of his injuries on the afternoon of Saturday, October 1st 2016. A funeral was held for the 6-year-old at Oakdale Baptist Church in Townville, and mostly everyone who attended wore either a superhero t-shirt or full superhero costume.
For anyone unhappy with only having Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump to choose between for president (see: a lot of people), the hope that a viable third party option would present itself is very high. Libertarian Gary Johnson was that person for many people.
And sure, on the surface it’s easy to understand why. He’s a middling candidate, socially liberal and economically conservative, which in the age of uber-partisanship sounds nice.
But if you do any digging on Gary Johnson, or just watch him on the campaign trail, you quickly begin to realize that he may not be as presidential as one would hope.
Here are five times Gary Johnson looked like a fool while campaigning.
1. “What is Aleppo?”
I’m sure if I went out to the streets today and asked strangers what their thoughts on Aleppo are, I’d get a lot of blank stares or dumb answers. And that’s understandable. Not knowing about the war-torn Syrian city is OK for Joe-Schmo (or even some journalists), but for a presidential candidate to not know about one of the most crucial overseas crises is troubling.
Presidents are the leaders of our military and have a heavy hand in our foreign policy, so we kind of want them to, you know, know about foreign policy. And while this one gaffe doesn’t mean he couldn’t effectively negotiate with other counties, it also doesn’t look good.
2. “Nobody got hurt” in recent bombing in Manhattan.

Earlier this month, New York City was rocked when a homemade bomb exploded in the Chelsea district with another one found just four blocks away. The blast injured twenty-nine people and sparked a manhunt for the man responsible.
So in an interview the following week, it was once again troubling to hear Gary Johnson say that he was, “just grateful that nobody got hurt.” And while no one was killed in the bombing, this is just another case of the hopeful leader of the free world not being up to date on the latest happenings, even in the country he wants to run.

Back in June, Johnson was at Politicon, a self-described “unconventional political convention,” which should have been perfect for him, seeing as how, as a third party candidate, his campaign is anything but conventional. But things again took a turn for the worst when Johnson began wandering around the convention to talk to voters and do interviews.
When an aid directed him to a room in the convention center that was named for Harriet Tubman, Johnson quickly asked, “Who’s Harriet Tubman?” When he was reminded, his response was that she will appear on the new twenty-dollar bill.
Sigh.
4. “The sun is going to actually grow and encompass the Earth, right? So global warming is in our future.”
Back in 2011, Johnson offered up his views on global warming. It started out pretty well, with him saying the Earth is getting warmer and it’s likely caused by humans. But then, he said this:
Basically, battling global warming is not only too expensive, but ultimately, what does it matter? Because in the “long-term view” the Earth is going to be destroyed by the sun. So f*ck it.
5. I don’t even know what to say about this one.
Last but not least in the “why Gary Johnson would be the weirdest president ever” list, there’s this little interview done last week. When discussing his desire to participate in the upcoming presidential debates, Johnson decided that that was a good time to stick his tongue out. Why? Who the hell knows.
So to you nearly million people out there hoping Johnson can somehow make history and beat both Clinton and Trump, just understand what you’re getting into. He would be, without a doubt, one of the weirdest presidents we’ve ever had.
House arrest may not have been enough for Meek Mill. He just might have to go into hiding because nobody seems to be on his side. Beanie Sigel just went on a 30-minute rant about the rapper and questioned whether his beef with Drake is about Nicki Minaj rather than music.
During an interview with Taxstone, Sigel says Meek shouldn’t have any issues with Drake’s music because, “He’s not from the streets, so he don’t gotta live by that code.”
“You can’t look at that man in a different light because he got armed security or whoever he got. He’s the f***ing biggest thing in music, nigga! A pop star. Who cares if he not writing that shit? That nigga saying some shit. I don’t give a f**k. It’s not taking away from your money or any of that.”
This then leads to question of what’s really behind Meek’s beef with Drake. Sigel thinks he’s solved the riddle.
“In my point of view? You was laying in the bed one night, you rolled over and you looked at her and you asked her, ‘You f**k that nigga?’ And she ain’t answer you in the way you wanted to.”
Sigel definitely has a point when it comes to Drake’s music and Meek’s coins. He may even be closer to the truth regarding Minaj’s relationship with the Canadian superstar. However, Sigel’s rant may be fueled, in part, by his own current issues with Meek.
The day before his interview with Tax, Sigel was sucker punched and “knocked out” backstage during the Philadelphia stop of the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour. Video footage of the aftermath has leaked and Teefy Bey, a member of Meek’s crew, is copping to the punch.
According to BET.com:
“Yeah I know about it,” [Teefy] jokingly said of the attack. “I think he passed out from his diabetic medication.” Teefy then explained what prompted an assault on Sigel by saying he “broke the code of ethics on the streets” and went on to be “back-door n****s with Game,” insinuating a breach in trust. They were also mad that Sigel claimed earlier in the day that he had no beef with Game.
Siegel recently helped write lyrics on Meek’s The Game’s diss track, “OOOUUU.” However, this was before Sigel heard Game’s Meek diss (“92 Bars”) and the two apparently worked things out. Meek and his crew feel some type of way about Sigel taking Game’s side.
Sigel also blamed Meek’s problem in the industry on himself. “Now it’s to the point where your f**kery is becoming transparent. Now you at a place where niggas is saying man you misrepresenting Philadelphia,” he said.
Meek has responded to Sigel’s rant on Instagram with a screenshot of a text message allegedly sent from Sigel when things were “all good” between the two.

I have no clue how Meek continues to find himself in all this drama. And the bad thing is that it never works out in his favor; he always loses the battle.
Hart is Seriously Funny and seriously rich! The comedian/actor just topped the Forbes list as the highest-paid comedian of 2016.
With a reported income of $87.5 million between June 2015 and June 2016, Hart is the richest comedian in the world and also nabs the sixth spot on the Forbes annual celebrity 100 list. Blockbuster films (Ride Along 2, Central Intelligence), a successful world tour (What Now?), and other projects contributed to Hart’s popularity and lucrative 2016.
Madeline Berg of Forbes writes:
“He tours like no other comedian. In the 12-month period, Hart played over 100 shows with an average gross of over $1 million at each stop. And these shows aren’t at dingy comedy clubs; Hart played stadiums and arenas, including Madison Square Garden and the Staples Center.”
“He is a comedian, of course, but he is drawing crowds that you would typically only see for musician,” said Pollstar editor Gary Bongiovanni. “Only a few comedians [are] capable of playing sports arenas the way that Kevin Hart does.”

Twitter clowned Auntie Mary after a promo for her upcoming Apple Music show, The 411, was released. The cringe-worthy clip shows Blige singing Bruce Springsteen’s “American Skin” to Hillary Clinton. The awkward moment was supposed to address the serious topic of police brutality, but ended up causing laughter and confusion instead.
But while we were all asking WTF, Blige was telling us to STFU. The singer took to her own Twitter account to address the criticism.
She deleted the tweet, decided to post it again, and then deleted it once more. I can just imagine her frown underneath those Edna Mode (from The Incredibles) bangs as her Twitter fingers go to work typing and deleting!

First it was Nicki Minaj, and now Miley Cyrus is coming queen diva of all divas, Mariah Carey.
The new Voice coach will grace the cover of the Elle’s October issue. In the cover story, Cyrus reveals she has never, ever liked Carey.
“I’ve never really been a fan, because it’s so much about Mariah Carey. That’s part of her shtick; I can see through that. It’s about what she’s wearing, and it’s about her. What I make isn’t about me. It’s about sharing my story; it’s about someone being connected to what I’m saying.”
There’s no denying that no one loves Mariah Carey more than Mariah Carey herself. However, the singer has earned the right to be the diva she is. Carey’s talent has carried her to icon status over the course of 25+ years.
While Cyrus is actually vocally talented in her own right, Carey doesn’t have to rely on shocking/risqué on-stage antics to stay relevant. She lets her voice speak for itself; Cyrus cannot say the same.
Cyrus also makes a slight contradiction to the shade she throws Carey’s way later in the interview. Reflecting on her Hannah Montana days, she admits all she ever wanted was to be on TV and was just happy to be a Disney kid. So was that about others “connecting” to her work or was that just a 12-year-old seeking fame?
You would think she would have learned not to poke a bear after Minaj called her out with “What’s good?” at the 2015 MTV VMAs. Fortunately for her, Mariah Carey has better things to do than address anything Billy Ray Cyrus’ daughter has to say.
Faith Evans just suffered a “wardrobe malfunction” to end Janet Jackson and every other malfunction. While performing, the singer lifted her dress and accidentally (or intentionally?) showed the audience all her goodies.
The First Lady of Bad Boy was performing in Boston for the “Bad Boy Reunion Tour.” She was singing “You Used to Love Me” and started to move her long dress so she could walk and have extra movement to groove to the song.
Unfortunately, what Evans didn’t realize is that she flashed the audience and her lady bits were showcased on the Jumbotron.
It’s unclear if Evans was wearing nude color underwear or nothing at all underneath her Spanx. Either way, she left nothing to the imagination. I’m just not sure how rumored boyfriend Stevie J. feels about Evans’ peek-a-boo moment.
We’ve always known Rob Kardashian was the black sheep of his ridiculously famous family. However, the man has no problem being a savage. Rob is not happy with his family right now, particularly Kylie Jenner, so in revenge, he tweeted out his little sister’s phone number.
Monday night (Sept. 26) Rob wasn’t playing any games after he felt his family did him and his fiancée/baby mama, Blac Chyna, wrong. He tweeted out Kylie’s real phone number, not once, but twice, and assured his 6.5 million followers that he was not hacked.
Chyna has bad history with the Kardashian/Jenner clan. She was previously engaged to Kylie’s current boyfriend Tyga. They also share a 3-year-old son together. Chyna has had a steady frenemy relationship with Kylie and is not particularly liked by Khloe Kardashian or Rob’s mom, Kris Jenner. However, they have all recently tried to make peace for the sake of Rob’s first child and his overall happiness.
There are a few stories of what actually went down and caused Rob’s outburst. Sources have revealed that there were two showers planned: one for Chyna and one for Rob. Chyna even confirmed on Snapchat that her shower would take place on Sunday (Sept. 25).
Allegedly, Rob’s sisters decided to throw separate showers because of Rob and Chyna’s currently strained relationship. (TMZ reports the two have not spoken much in recent months and only briefly reunited for the premiere of their reality show.) Chyna supposedly even agreed two showers would be best.
Sources say Rob either flipped out because he didn’t know about the separate showers or because Chyna wasn’t allowed to go to the one specifically being thrown for him.
As for a second “DILF” shower planned in Rob’s honor, the source says Chyna was going to go in Rob’s place and that’s where the bickering began. “Rob couldn’t attend, so Chyna was going to attend and Kim [Kardashian] said if Rob didn’t go, then Chyna couldn’t go. It sounds like that’s what caused the argument.”
I should also note that Chyna said her shower had been “in the works for a while now” and was being thrown by her friends. So that definitely doesn’t sound like any of Rob’s sisters to me.
As of now, Rob’s tweets regarding the situation and Kylie’s number are still posted, though Kylie’s number has been disconnected and changed. It’s the clear the rift between Rob and his family is only growing.
Welp, God spoke to Fantasia and told her jump on the Kevin Gates/The Game/Keke Palmer train. In light of the killing of yet another unarmed black man by a police officer, the singer felt it in her spirit to hold an “All Lives Matter” concert.
Fantasia was set to headline a concert in Charlotte, NC on Sunday (Sept. 25) featuring other artists such as Anthony Hamilton and John P. Kee. The event was titled “Hear Me Now! All Lives Matter.”

Charlotte is currently dealing with the aftermath of the police shooting of Keith Lamont Scott. North Carolina also happens to be Fantasia’s home state. Needless to say, many were not feeling Fantasia’s “ALM” declaration which has been used to minimize and dismiss the Black Lives Matter movement.

Ultimately, the concert had to be cancelled, supposedly because of crowds attending the Panthers game, though social media outrage and backlash may have also been a factor.
Tasia and her husband explained in a Facebook Live recording why she felt it was important to hold an “All Lives Matter” concert. “God laid it on my heart to do this,” she said.
“Two thousand years ago, Jesus ended the debate on which lives matter. He died for all us. All of us. Martin Luther King stood for love and unity for all people. United we stand, divided we fall. Let’s all stand together. So black lives matter, yes they do. All lives matter.”
Hamilton posted his own message, telling his fans that he was unaware of the flyer. He says “All Lives Matter” was included without his approval and encouraged everyone to read an article he recently wrote regarding racism and injustice in America.
Blessings come in many forms and seasons, so when opportunity knocks, it behooves you to answer it.
Mary J. Blige has been blessed to get in good with the folks at Apple as she has been part of their Apple Music promotional campaigns since she, Kerry Washington and Taraji Henson did that commercial last year.
But apparently, that was just the beginning of her relationship with Apple Music because now a trailer for a pseudo-talk show called The 411 with Mary J. Blige has hit the web and in the clip, Mary serenades to Secretary Hillary Clinton. The song is seemingly about the Black Lives Matter movement as Mary sings:
“If an officer stops you, always be polite
And never ever run away, promise mama you’ll keep your hands inside
Is it a gun? Is it a knife? Is it a wallet? This is your life
It ain’t no secret, it ain’t no secret, no secret my friend,
You can get killed just for living in, your American skin”
After this strange ballad, Mary, who’s wearing a blonde, shaggy wig that covers her eyes BEHIND a pair of gigantic, ’70s style sunglasses, attempts to get her Oprah on as she softly asks Hillary Clinton, “I just want to know, where do we go from here?”
Now, look here, I applaud Hillary Clinton for doing whatever it takes to win the black vote, but she didn’t need to put herself through this mess. She has been a first lady, a senator and a secretary of state. She does not need to sit down while Mary J. Blige pretends to be a journalist. And I’m gonna need Mary to go back to the drawing board with that simple-ass BLM anthem too.

It’s unfortunate, but somehow along the way, Teairra Mari, a once promising R&B star, became a flop and a failure.
For much of her stint on Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, Teairra has dodged her catatonic career. Except for that one time when she had an embarrassingly awful performance and everybody laughed at her about it.
But Teairra revisits her shortcomings when she sits down with producer B. Cox and retreads the ground that L.A. Reid already covered when he said he regretted that he focused so much energy on Teairra and not enough on Rihanna. Ouch.
Teairra admits that she tries to not think about the comment because the remark cuts too deep. Which is respectable. But then she sits back and asks the producer what he thinks industry people would say about her if her name was brought up in a conversation. For some reason, she’s surprised when he says, “Crazy.”
The only brand that Teiarra has established for herself outside of her aborted music career is that of a ratchet, Ray-J-obsessed, chubby, depressed, miserable ass reality TV star, so what exactly was she expecting him to say? That she’s a diamond in the rough?
Go on, girl.
After B. Cox gives her the epiphany that if she puts out “good music,” all of her past bad behavior will be forgiven, Teairra feels relieved. I’m not sure why though because the creating “good music” seems to have been quite the obstacle for the past 10 years or so….
But the sorry state of her music career isn’t the only thing Teairra has to worry about. The singer is also facing a case with her situation with an Uber driver that has her potentially facing jail time for assault, battery and petty theft. An argument with an Uber driver resulted in a heated disagreement that saw the driver press charges against the singer. The ride-sharing service also banned Teairra as a rider.
Teairra shares the latest developments in her case to her gal pals Shanda and Nikki Baby and Nikki shows concern for Teairra as she believes the incident is linked to Teiarra’s abuse of alcohol.
So cue the season-long storyline set up that will have us follow Teairra’s substance abuse journey for the rest of this season.
All I ask is that if they’re going to go this route that we get some Intervention-worthy drama and outbursts from it too. Cause otherwise, this “Teairra’s got a drinking problem” plotline seems weak and tired. Like her music career.
Nikki Baby Went from Lady Pimp to Single Lady
The gig is up for Nikki Muddaris. Now that her bisexual love triangle has been outted, Nikki finds herself very much in the lonely corner. After Safaree “discovered” Nikki in bed with Rosa Acosta, things certainly didn’t turn out the way Nikki or Safaree expected.
Safaree thought the two ladies would slob on his knob and fulfill his every sexual fantasy, but Rosa was NOT feeling “Safaree Minaj,” as she rudely referred to him, and she immediately paid him dust and went to find a good ol’ stud to replace Nikki with.
Nikki seems to be more fazed by the loss of her relationship with Rosa than Safaree at one of the seemingly endless number of parties for one of Nikki’s clothing lines. But Rosa’s petty game is on 10 and she brought a stud named Carter with her to show Nikki that she ain’t thinkin’ bout her (she ain’t sorry).
Color me confused and surprised, because I didn’t realize that Rosa Acosta was such a hardcore lesbian. I thought she was playing that bisexual game for attention, but her pullin’ that stud shows that Rosa is REALLY bout that lesbian life like her name was Mimi Faust.
When Nikki approached Rosa and her guest, she made it clear that she was threatened by Rosa’s new boo as she awkwardly insisted that the butch stud was checkin’ her out and staring at her breasts. Mind you, Nikki had her plastic titties on display like a turkey in the middle of a Thanksgiving spread with a neckline that plunged down to her navel, but she was convinced that Rosa’s girl just went out of her way to oogle her.
Nikki pointed out to Rosa that she doesn’t understand why Rosa’s upset about Nikki dating Safaree since they were friends and non-exclusive, but Rosa is holding fast to that “you lied” line. Honestly, I think the biggest thing burning Rosa isn’t that Nikki was sleeping with a man, but rather that Nikki was rolling around in bed with Nicki Minaj’s flunky. Which is, honestly, somewhat understandable.
Princess Is Begging and Pleading for Ray J’s Attention
So Princess, who had to fight tooth and nail to keep Ray J as a boyfriend, is struggling to engage him in the wedding planning process.
Last episode, Princess was left hanging as she did a cake tasting session all by herself and in this episode, she lets Ray J have it. Ray, for his part, feels like Princess is not supporting his scooter business or whatever. And for some strange reason, he thinks a billboard of the two of them riding his Scoot-E-Bikes in Hollywood will cheer her up.
Princess was as thrilled with this development as she was with Moniece’s apology. But by the end of the episode, after some haggling and harassment that involved Princess threatening to have them married on the spot at his Scoot-E-Bike shop by a hippie-looking white lady, Ray J vows to be more than 50% involved in the wedding planning and be 5000% involved.
Princess, be careful what you wish for, girl.
Lyrica’s Mama Is Mad As Hell Again
Because A1 and Lyrica’s mamas are so busy acting out their own bootleg version of Game of Thrones, the two love birds decided that eloping was the best way to mitigate the tension and drama between both of their mamas.
But now that the deed is done, Lyrica and A1 have to figure out how to break the news to their friends AND family. They decide that having a housewarming party that doubles as a wedding reception is the best way forward since their friends and family can hopefully help temper any negative reactions.
What they didn’t count on, apparently, was Lyrica’s mother having a complete and total lack of fucks to give about behaving well in public.
At first, when everyone in the room is toasting to the couple’s new home, Lyrica’s mama is all smiles.
But when A1 and Lyrica gleefully announce to their room of friends that this housewarming is in fact also a wedding reception, Lyrica’s mother’s mood switches and she dramatically drops her champagne glass on the floor.
She then proceeds to start hollering about how horrible it is that she was left out of the wedding and Pam, A1’s mother, starts getting in her face and everything goes downhill from there.
Later, when Lyrica’s mom stops by to pick up the dogs, A1 acts like the dogs are missing and the two get into a confrontation again as he offers her a picture from their wedding as a peace offering. Lyrica’s mother ain’t havin’ it and promptly throws the frame straight to the ground.
This is the problem with Lyrica’s mother: She’s an adult toddler. If it isn’t about her or glorifying her, she can’t take it. And honestly, this is Lyrica’s fault. She should’ve BEEN checked her mama, but she thought it was cute before when she was sicking her mama on Pam but now that the fire-breathing monster is turning on her, she realizes it’s a problem.
Lyrica’s mama needs a hobby. Maybe they can interest her in crocheting, or hell, how about joining Oprah’s damn book club or something.
