Good Morning America aired a snippet of the interview with Rihanna that will air tomorrow at tomorrow at 10pm EST on “20/20″. And it looks like she is going to go in on Chris Brown and possibly “the situation.” We’re kind of sad that this is what it’s resulted to to sell an album. We’re not condoning violence but to throw Chris under the bus simply to promote your own album…something about that doesn’t seem right.
Through all of Chris’ interviews, he held a sense of respect for Rihanna and what happened and said it was between both of them. Unfortunately, it looks like Rihanna will not be doing the same. We’re just hoping she doesn’t blame everything on Chris because even though we weren’t there, we know it takes two to tango and Chris didn’t tango alone. We wonder what his reaction is going to be after this airs.
Wearing a gray hooded jacket, a dark blue pair of jeans and a pair of black boots, pop singer Rihanna was spotted making her way through the airport terminals at John F. Kennedy International Airport Tuesday afternoon (Nov 3) to catch a flight out of New York City.
She and Chris Brown have never really spoken about what really happened between them the night of that February 2009 incident following the Clive Davids Grammy event, but it seems like slowly but surely they’re opening up more and more in these exclusive interviews.
Rihanna’s ABC News interview with Diane Sawyer is set to air Thursday on ABC’s Good Morning America and Friday on 20/20, and Rihanna says she and Chris became “dangeros” for each other the more in love they became.
Wearing dark jeans, leopard print heels and a cut sweatshirt exposing her flat belly, pop singer Rihanna was spotted out and about after making her rounds in Manhattan, NYC Monday night (Nov 2).
Rihanna has had a pretty busy week so far and Thursday morning she will be appearing on Good Morning America. And her new music video for her second single “Wait Your Turn” premiered earlier today. Click here to check it out if you haven’t gotten the chance to yet.
Rihanna just premiered her brand new music video for her second single, “Wait Your Turn (The Wait Is Ova).”
We’ve watched it a couple times and we aren’t really too impressed. It’s cool and the shots are pretty cool and the cinematography is sick but it’s nothing special. She’s singing “the wait is ova…” but seriously, is there anyone really waiting anymore? We hate to say it, but Chris has our vote for best project so far. It’s time for Rihanna to step her game up. Peep the video after the break.
In an effort to promote her new album, Rihanna recently sat down to do an interview with Glamour Magazine for their “Women of the Year 2009″ issue. In the issue, Ri talks about her new sound and style, auditioning for Jay-Z, and of course, the big fight she had with Chris Brown in February. She even touched a bit on how she felt after that picture of her battered face.
But like all the interviews with Chris, don’t expect to hear something you haven’t already, which is good because we’d hate to see either one of them throwing each other under the bus.
Glamour: Let’s talk about this past year—you’ve obviously been through some difficult things. How did the people around you help you cope?
Rihanna: My friends and family have been extremely supportive, and everyone has been there for me. But at some point you are there alone. It’s a lonely place to be—no one can understand. That’s when you get close to God.
Glamour: Are you referring to the [Chris Brown] incident?
Rihanna: I am talking about starting with the night [before] the Grammys and then on. That was not the only thing that occurred this year. The picture leaking…it was one thing after another.
Glamour: You’re talking about the photo [reportedly of Rihanna’s injured face taken by police after Brown assaulted her] that was allegedly leaked by cops. You handled that so well; you kept silent in the press.
Another track from Rihanna’s soon-to-be-released album Rated R has surfaced. The song is called “Hard” and it features Young Jeezy.
This is definitely the best track we’ve heard from the Rated R recording sessions. The beat goes hard and has a lot of swag but unfortunately, Jeezy’s verse is the standout of the song and Rihanna’s voice starts to get irritating after a bit. And it’s her damn song, SMH… There are a couple R&B chicks we could name that’d fit better on this track. But it is what it is. Peep the download link below.
Rihanna is getting ready to get on her promotional grind for her new album Rated R. She has unveiled the official track listing for the album, which hits stores November 23rd.
Also, the video for her second single “Wait Your Turn (The Wait is Ova)” is rumored to premiere today on her official website RihannaNow.com while the video for her first single “Russian Roulette” is also rumored to premiere on ABC on November 13th on ABC’s 20/20.
And this is the part where we all take a deeeep breath! (Whew!) … Is it just us or does anyone else feel like this project is a bit rushed? Since when has an artist debuted the video to her second single first and only a few days after the track has leaked?
Anyway, peep the track listing for Rated R after the break!
Rihanna’s second single from her upcoming album Rated R has leaked and we hate to say this, but … this one here isn’t much better than “Russian Roulette.”
The underwhelming track, called “Wait Your Turn (The Wait Is Ova),” was produced by Chase ‘N’ Status and is nothing compared to the singles she had during her Good Girl Gone Bad era. Good thing she’s got that big interview with ABC because at this rate she’ll need all the promotion and sales she can get. Download the new song below:
