Fizz from Love & Hip Hop Hollywood: I Don’t Have Roaches … Amanda is a Liar!

VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop” shows are not only known for the drama shown on screen, but the off-screen drama that gets aired out on social media as well.

“Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” star Fizz recently stopped by castmate Yesi Ortiz’s Power 106 radio show to talk about the show and what’s going on with his love life.

Fizz said he’s enjoying the single life, and when it comes to his ex girlfriend Amanda Secor — who cheated on him in the past and continued to sneak around and see the guy she cheated on him with — they’re REALLY done. “I am not with a THOT,” he said. “Can’t do it.”

Of course Amanda didn’t like being called a THOT, so she responded by claiming in a post on Instagram that Fizz lives with his mom, carries an EBT (food stamp) card, has ants and roaches in his bed, and talked “so much shit about Nikki and her body” before pursuing her because he’s “thirsty” and “will do ANY & everything for some damn attention.”

Dreux wants to call me a “THOT” when he’s the one being thirsty and will do ANY & everything for some damn attention. He talked so much shit about Nikki and her body, but now he wants to date her? She went back to her MAN cuz he’s a little boy. He can’t bring a “bad bitch” back to his mom’s house to sleep in a bed full of ants roaches- which is why I wouldn’t move in w/ him… He damn sure can’t do shit for her with his EBT card. I know the real Dreux not “lil fizz” if he was doing what he was supposed to do, I wouldn’t have looked elsewhere. He better think about what else I know before he decides to disrespect me again.

Fizz’s baby mama Moniece responded to the post on Instagram and defended her son’s father, warning Amanda to “watch her mouth” and she’s just mad because she got the life slapped out of her on the show.

Fizz later cleared his own name with an Instagram video in which he showed off his clean, roach-less apartment. He also flashed a handful of $100 bills at the end of the clip, saying “EBT?”

NFL Player Benjamin Watson’s Facebook Post on Ferguson Goes Viral

Count NFL player Benjamin Watson among the innumerable Americans still struggling to understand the shooting death of Michael Brown at the hands of Ferguson, Missouri police officer Darren Wilson.

“Benjamin Watson” isn’t among the first names you think of when it comes to professional football, but that changed today after an essay he wrote about Ferguson went viral on Facebook.

Within the first 12 hours, the post — which expressed the 33-year-old Virginia native’s feelings about the Missouri Grand Jury’s decision to not seek an indictment against Wilson — had been shared by nearly 100,000 people and had over 200,000 likes.

In the post, Watson described the range of emotions he was going through (frustration, fear, confusion, embarrassment, anger, sadness, sympathy, etc.) and listed reasons why.

Fans commented on how “proud” and “in awe” they were of the athlete for being so honest. “Tears running down my face,” one woman commented.

Another Cowboys fan wrote, “I never comment on or share these types of viral posts cause most the time they annoy me, but this is by far one of the most exceptional things I’ve ever read. I’m a die hard Cowboys fan, but I just became a die hard Benjamin Watson fan.”

Read the full post here:

At some point while I was playing or preparing to play Monday Night Football, the news broke about the Ferguson Decision. After trying to figure out how I felt, I decided to write it down. Here are my thoughts:

I’M ANGRY because the stories of injustice that have been passed down for generations seem to be continuing before our very eyes.

I’M FRUSTRATED, because pop culture, music and movies glorify these types of police citizen altercations and promote an invincible attitude that continues to get young men killed in real life, away from safety movie sets and music studios.

I’M FEARFUL because in the back of my mind I know that although I’m a law abiding citizen I could still be looked upon as a “threat” to those who don’t know me. So I will continue to have to go the extra mile to earn the benefit of the doubt.

I’M EMBARRASSED because the looting, violent protests, and law breaking only confirm, and in the minds of many, validate, the stereotypes and thus the inferior treatment.

I’M SAD, because another young life was lost from his family, the racial divide has widened, a community is in shambles, accusations, insensitivity hurt and hatred are boiling over, and we may never know the truth about what happened that day.

I’M SYMPATHETIC, because I wasn’t there so I don’t know exactly what happened. Maybe Darren Wilson acted within his rights and duty as an officer of the law and killed Michael Brown in self defense like any of us would in the circumstance. Now he has to fear the backlash against himself and his loved ones when he was only doing his job. What a horrible thing to endure. OR maybe he provoked Michael and ignited the series of events that led to him eventually murdering the young man to prove a point.

I’M OFFENDED, because of the insulting comments I’ve seen that are not only insensitive but dismissive to the painful experiences of others.

I’M CONFUSED, because I don’t know why it’s so hard to obey a policeman. You will not win!!! And I don’t know why some policeman abuse their power. Power is a responsibility, not a weapon to brandish and lord over the populace.

I’M INTROSPECTIVE, because sometimes I want to take “our” side without looking at the facts in situations like these. Sometimes I feel like it’s us against them. Sometimes I’m just as prejudiced as people I point fingers at. And that’s not right. How can I look at white skin and make assumptions but not want assumptions made about me? That’s not right.

I’M HOPELESS, because I’ve lived long enough to expect things like this to continue to happen. I’m not surprised and at some point my little children are going to inherit the weight of being a minority and all that it entails.

I’M HOPEFUL, because I know that while we still have race issues in America, we enjoy a much different normal than those of our parents and grandparents. I see it in my personal relationships with teammates, friends and mentors. And it’s a beautiful thing.

I’M ENCOURAGED, because ultimately the problem is not a SKIN problem, it is a SIN problem. SIN is the reason we rebel against authority. SIN is the reason we abuse our authority. SIN is the reason we are racist, prejudiced and lie to cover for our own. SIN is the reason we riot, loot and burn.

BUT I’M ENCOURAGED because God has provided a solution for sin through the his son Jesus and with it, a transformed heart and mind. One that’s capable of looking past the outward and seeing what’s truly important in every human being. The cure for the Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin, Tamir Rice and Eric Garner tragedies is not education or exposure. It’s the Gospel.

So, finally, I’M ENCOURAGED because the Gospel gives mankind hope.

Megaupload Founder Kim Dotcom Says He’s “Officially Broke”

Just a few years ago, Internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom was sitting on millions of dollars, but after a nearly three-year fight against being extradited to the United States to face online piracy charges, Dotcom says he’s flat broke.

Speaking via Skype at the unBound Digital conference in London, Dotcom — who once had a fleet of luxury and vintage cars, as well as a fully staffed mansion in New Zealand — attributed the demise of his bank accounts to mounting legal fees, and now most of his lawyers have jumped ship.

“My legal team has recently resigned because I ran out of money after spending $10 million to try and defend myself,” Dotcom said on Tuesday. “They have drained all my resources. I’m officially broke right now.”

kim-dotcom-new-zealand-mansion

Kim Dotcom was arrested in 2012 after New Zealand police raided his $24 million mansion (pictured here), and the New Zealand government is working together with copyright enforcement agencies in the United States to bring the man responsible for this hilarious GIF down on charges related to him assisting copyright pirates through his Megaupload file-sharing website.

At its peak, Megaupload was one of the biggest websites on the internet, accounting for nearly 5% of global Internet traffic with 50 million unique visitors per day. The site even launched a number of high-profile ad campaigns with big names in the entertainment industry, like Swizz Beatz, who was once touted as the company’s “CEO.”

The German-born Dotcom, whose real name is Kim Schmitz, is due in a New Zealand court Thursday for a bail hearing and he suspects they could revoke it just because they know he’s broke now.

“I’m an easy target because of my flamboyant lifestyle,” he said. “It’s hard to keep a low profile when you have number plates with ‘GOD’ and ‘STONED’ on them. Also, I’m German, and Hollywood loves German Bond villains.”

The New Zealand Herald recently reported that Dotcom was living alone in his giant mansion, unable to go outside, but Dotcom denied those claims.

“They said I’m a lonely man alone in my mansion, but my kids are living with me,” he said. “I’m playing with them every day. I’m a happy man because of my kids. If they were not around, it would be much darker.”

If he does end up going back to jail, Dotcom announced a single plea in what may be his last interview: “If I go back to jail, send me cards … cards with photos of cats on.”

Darren Wilson Defends Killing Michael Brown, Says He’d Do It Again

Officer Darren Wilson has been publicly silent since the day he shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. Even as the Missouri Grand Jury announced its decision to not indict him, Wilson remained quiet, allowing his attorneys to release a statement on his behalf.

But now that he’s escaped being charged for Mike Brown’s murder, Officer Wilson’s “moment of silence” has turned into a blaring noise, as he is now speaking out about the incident for the first time, because (in his mind) “Sure! Why not?”

Wilson sat down with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos for an interview that aired Tuesday (Nov 25) and gave his version of his short encounter with Brown on August 9th. Wilson said Brown reached into his car and tried to grab his gun, and Brown then “charged” at him, which is when he started shooting.

Wilson repeatedly defended killing Brown, saying he did exactly what he was trained to do, and race had nothing to do with it because he would have done the exact same thing if Brown what white. Later in the interview, Wilson said he had a clean conscience, though he also repeatedly said he’s “sorry” Brown is dead.

Wilson also told Stephanopolous that all he and his new wife is want a normal life.

Stephanopolous: Guess it’s hard to have a normal life after someone is lying dead. Is it something you think that will always haunt you?

Wilson: I don’t think it’s a haunting, it’s just something that happened.

Darren Wilson on the death of Michael Brown: “It’s just something that happened.”

JUST SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED?

Wow. Despicable doesn’t even begin to describe this character.

Police Shooting of 12-Year-Old Boy Holding Toy Gun Under Investigation

The police shooting death of the 12-year-old boy from Cleveland, Ohio who was holding a toy gun has sparked an investigation, but contrary to previous reports, the boy did not point the fake gun at officers before he was shot.

Tamir Rice died Sunday (Nov 23) of a gunshot wound to the abdomen, just one day after he was shot by a police officer responding to a call about a boy at a playground pulling a gun in and out of his pants.

The 911 caller said the gun was “probably fake,” though it isn’t known if that information was shared with the trigger-happy police officer.

Deputy Chief Ed Tomba confirmed the boy did pull out the fake gun (pictured above on the right), but he did not point it at police as previously suggested.

Police said they couldn’t tell Tamir’s toy “airsoft” BB gun apart from a real one because the plastic orange tip designed to make it distinguishable from a real firearm had been removed.

More from AP:

Authorities said the boy was told to raise his hands and was shot when he pulled the pellet gun from his waistband, though he hadn’t pointed it at police or made verbal threats.

“Our officers at times are required to make critical decisions in a split second,” Chief Calvin Williams said. “Unfortunately this is one of those times.”

Tomba said surveillance video of the shooting is “very clear” about what occurred, but he wouldn’t discuss details of what it shows.

People representing the boy’s family viewed the video Monday, but police didn’t release it publicly because it is considered evidence and because they want to be sensitive to the family, the community and the officer, who is distraught, officials said.

The shooting has led to an investigation of the officer’s use of force. It also contributed to a state lawmaker’s plan to propose legislation requiring all BB guns, air rifles and airsoft guns sold in Ohio to be brightly colored or have prominent fluorescent strips.

Once the investigation is complete, the case will be presented to a grand jury to decide whether any criminal charges should be brought, Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Timothy McGinty said.

The two officers involved in the shooting were put on administrative leave under standard procedure. Police haven’t publicly identified them.

At least 100 people gathered near a recreation center at the playground Monday night to show support for the boy’s family. Some demonstrators carried signs that read “Danger Police in Area” and “Police Terror: This Stops Today.” They chanted, “Justice for Tamir!”

“We will not accept any excuse why this young man was shot down unjustly,” said Art McKoy, a Cleveland community activist at the demonstration.

Tamir’s father Gregory Henderson doesn’t understand why the officer chose to use a pistol on his son instead of a stun gun.

“Why not tase him?” Henderson asked, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. “You shot him twice, not once, and at the end of the day you all don’t shoot for the legs, you shoot for the upper body.”

Migos rapper Quavo is finally speaking out on being robbed of his QC chain last week in Washington D.C.

On a new track titled “Tha Truth,” Quavo explains exactly how his chain was snatched, but makes it clear he’s not stressing over it. He also claims to have hit one of the robbers across the head with a bottle of Hennessy, because why not?

Quavo raps:

I’mma tell em how it went down
Nigga jumped off the stage
Thought of walking through the crowd
I’m the last one walking through the door
So they took the opportunity to hit a lick now
One nigga tried to go snatch it
Hit ’em with the Hennessy, broke the glasses
Then a nigga grabbed my chain and he ran for the limo
What type of real street nigga leave his patna by his self?

Rihanna Previews New Music While “Phuckin roun in da studio”

Rihanna has yet to reveal an official release date yet for her upcoming eighth studio album R8, but she’s already giving us a taste of what to expect.

Earlier today, RiRi teased fans on Instagram with a 15-second snippet of a track that will most likely appear on the album. Or not, because, you know, she is after all just “phuckin roun in da studio,” according to the IG video’s caption.

On the track RiRi sings:

“Ain’t none of this shit promised, ain’t none of this promised. Ain’t none of this shit certain, ain’t none of this certain.”

Rihanna is also letting her fans that any news about her album R8 will come directly from her, likely responding to an “announcement” from DJ Skee on his radio show today that the album won’t be out until 2015.

Rihanna has previously hinted at the album’s release, telling fans during a meet-and-greet in Virginia earlier this month, “I can’t give you any hints of when it will drop … It’s going to be great, that’s all I’m going to tell you and I’m excited about it.”

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Got Into a “Big” Fight on a Hotel Balcony

It’s been three months since Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie married in France, so it’s about that time we start planting the seed of growing discontent. Woman’s Day has exclusive photos of Brad and Angelina arguing on a balcony in Sydney. They animated the photos to make it more action packed.

Brad, 50, downed a Crown Lager at the early hour of 10am and the pair were both seen clutching cigarettes as their intense discussion raged on. Industry insiders tell Woman’s Day that the tensions could be down to Ange’s hectic workload in the past year.

Jordin Sparks Fires Shots at Jason Derulo in “How Bout Now” Remix

Jordin Sparks seems to be scorned over her break-up with Jason Derulo. Taking a page straight out of the Taylor Swift playbook, Jordin has released a remake to Drake’s “How Bout Now” track dissing her ex boyfriend Jason Derulo.

On the track Jordin sings about how she took care of Jason when he broke his neck in 2012 and how fame gave the R&B singer a big head.

“Remember when you broke your neck
and I had to wash your back for you? Ugh.
Probably don’t remember half the sh-t that I did for you.

Always been mommy’s little angel
Then, once you blew up, head got big and you started changing.
Can’t believe all the things that you started saying.
Like I’m with you for your fame and your name. (What?)
That thought and your feature now setting up the game. (What?)
[…]
Asking for the things that you gave me.
Try to lock you in with a baby. (Ooh!)”

(via Necole Bitchie)

Jordin’s remix comes off a new mixtape she released today titled “Bye Felicia.”

Jordin and Jason broke up in September after Jason called it quits. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Derulo claimed Sparks pressuring him into marriage, in addition to the constant fighting caused the relationship to end.

We guess Jordin isn’t taking things so well.

Beyoncé Is Way Too Right For You To Be So Very Wrong

While discussing how wrong and utterly stupid people can be about anything Beyoncé related, my friend La succinctly packaged my grievances by noting, “I hate that every time she does something, it means we all who pay attention and have critical thinking skills have to suffer thru think pieces from who don’t.”

She added an “lol,” but my ass ain’t laughing. The thinkpieces haven’t arrived yet, but the thoughtless musings have already started.

For starters, this idea that “7/11″ sounds like something from Unapologetic. Songs like “Pour It Up” are taking cues from Juicy J and “trap,” both of which are heavily (and admittedly by producers) influenced by DJ Screw and UGK. You know, the area where Beyoncé is actually from.

As someone who still occasionally writes about music, it irritates the ever living shit out of me how often people who write about music don’t know much about it. This is always true about anything southern Black related.

Even after the now perfect visual, there are some who once again want to echo this sentiment and attribute to the larger point: Beyoncé is copying Rihanna.

Bill Cosby Jokes About Rape Allegations, Receives Standing Ovation

So far, sixteen women have come forward accusing Bill Cosby of sexually assaulting them in some way. Twelve of those women say he drugged them. Washington Post has a timeline of all the events which is really helpful in seeing which years he was most rapey.

Then there was last Thursday night where Cosby performed in the Bahamas for a women’s charity event for rape and domestic violence. There he mock-cried about the allegations and joked how he was an evil man.

He received a standing ovation. As he should have. Haha, mothers and kids aren’t eating his pudding snacks anymore because he allegedly drugged and raped women. That’s funny!

Kobe Bryant Unfazed by Massive 2-Year $48.5 Million Contract with the Lakers

Kobe Bryant has been questioned about his massive two-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers in the twilight of his career, yet the NBA baller seems unfazed by the boatload of money coming his way.

“It’s the popular thing to do,” Bryant said. “The player takes less, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I think it’s a big coup for the owners to put players in situations where public perception puts pressure on them to take less money. Because if you don’t, then you get criticized for it.”

No Justice: Darren Wilson Escapes Charges for Michael Brown Shooting After Grand Jury Fails to Indict Him

After listening to 70 hours of testimony from 60 witnesses over the course of 25 days and deliberating for two days, a St. Louis grand jury has decided against indicting Darren Wilson, the white police officer who fatally shot unarmed African American teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri back in August.

This means that Wilson will not go on trial. He now gets to walk away scot-free and will face no charges in Brown’s death. Once again, justice has NOT been served.

From the NY Times:

The decision by the grand jury of nine whites and three blacks was announced Monday night by the St. Louis County prosecutor, Robert P. McCulloch, at a news conference packed with reporters from around the world. The killing, on a residential street in Ferguson, set off weeks of civil unrest — and a national debate — fueled by protesters’ outrage over what they called a pattern of police brutality against young black men. Mr. McCulloch said that Officer Wilson faced charges ranging from first-degree murder to involuntary manslaughter.

Word of the decision set off a new wave of anger among hundreds who gathered outside the Ferguson Police Department. Police officers in riot gear stood in a line as demonstrators chanted and threw signs and other objects toward them as the news spread. “The system failed us again,” one woman said. In downtown Ferguson, the sound of breaking glass could be heard as crowds ran through the streets.

Mr. Brown’s family issued a statement expressing sadness, but calling for peaceful protest and a campaign to require body cameras on police officers nationwide. “We are profoundly disappointed that the killer of our child will not face the consequence of his actions,” the statement said. “While we understand that many others share our pain, we ask that you channel your frustration in ways that will make a positive change. We need to work together to fix the system that allowed this to happen.”

But outside the police station, Lesley McSpadden, Mr. Brown’s mother, voiced frustration with the decision. “They wrong!” she yelled, pointing toward the police officers standing outside of the station. “Y’all know y’all wrong!”

At the White House, President Obama appealed for peaceful protest and “care and restraint” from law enforcement following the grand jury’s decision not to indict Officer Wilson, even as he said the situation speaks to broader racial challenges in America.

“We have made enormous progress in race relations over the course of the past several decades,” Mr. Obama said in brief remarks in the briefing room, where he made an unusual late-night appearance to respond to the decision. “But what is also true is that there are still problems, and communities of color aren’t just making these problems up.”

Rapper OG Maco Accuses Beyoncé of Stealing His Video Concept for “7/11”

When will these irrelevant azz artists learn to stop coming for Beyoncé?

OG Maco caught hell a few days ago from the BeyHive after he made a remark about Beyoncé’s new “7/11” video, which has over 20 millions views now.

In a series of tweets, the Atlanta rapper accused Bey of stealing the video concept from his “U Guessed It” video.

https://twitter.com/OGMaco/status/536042486452736000

https://twitter.com/OGMaco/status/536057302026293248

https://twitter.com/OGMaco/status/536554901481209857

This is from OG Maco’s video:

og-maco-u-guessed-it-hallway

And this is from Beyoncé’s:

beyoce-711-hallway

After reviewing both videos, we admit there are some very small similarities (such as the fact Bey and OG both run around their hotel rooms turning up),  but overall the videos are completely different.

Honestly, the ONLY simlarity is that one hallway scene in the hotel, but everybody does that (and Beyoncé herself has done it before in her own behind the scenes clips), so this guy needs to just go have a seat.

And of course Bey’s video and song is a millllliooooooonnnnnn times better than that you “U Guessed It!” crap.

HO, SIT DOWN!
