According to our boy FreddyO, Frankie just “found” 2 more of her children last week. We’re not entirely sure how you “lose” and “find” your own children, but with Frankie, this is a regular thing. Anyway, she was already a little emotional, so when she spoke to press on the red carpet of the BET Hip Hop Awards Saturday (Oct 10) in Atlanta, she got a little emotional when the subject turned to her daughter Keyshia Cole:
“She’s been taking care of me since [inaudible] don’t get it twisted. Matter of fact, she’s the reason why I got my esteem back and my hope. When I got out of prison, if it wasn’t for her, I would not be walking the red carpet. Shout out to God. My baby gave me so much encouragement, no matter how I look. ‘Mama you are beautiful. Mama you are fine.’”
Aww, how sweet! No comment on those platinum fronts though, we’re just glad we haven’t heard anything about Frankie wildin’ out at any of the weekend’s festivities. She hosted her own red carpet segment too, and we all know how that could have went!
Keyshia Cole’s management (via our friend FreddyO) is setting the record straight on her pregnancy. In fact, there is no record because according to Manny Halley, she is NOT carrying Daniel “Boobie” Gibson’s baby right now. The two of them are currently spending time together as she lays down tracks for her new album set to be released sometime next year.
After being lost for words he then said “No, not at all”… Keyshia is currently in LA with her boo, working on her new album… Hummmm…. I have also been told by a source that Keyshia is moving back to LA and has put her Atlanta home up for sale…
Keyshia Cole and her boyfriend Daniel “Boobie” Gibson (pictured at the top at Cedar Point amusement park in Ohio the other day) of the Cleveland Cavaliers recently got a matching haircut!
Keyshia (pictured at the bottom getting done up before a photoshoot in Cleveland) has decided to shave the side of her head a la Cassie and don the look up with red stars just like her “Boobie.” Forget that whole matching tattoos mess. That sh*t is permanent! Hair grows back. Always.

Here Jamie Foxx can be seen paying tribute to Michael Jackson (comedically, of course) as the host of the 2009 BET Awards, which aired live from Los Angeles Sunday night (Jun 28) on BET. Jamie Foxx is probably one of the few people who can make light of a sad situation and have everyone laughing and crying at the same time. The BET Awards was supposed to dedicate the entire show to Michael, per the press release sent out Friday, but failed to impress.
The show itself was pretty good, but they should have never mentioned dedicating the show to MIchael if they didn’t have the time to do it right. That said, we really hope they put together an entire special to honor the late King of Pop so they can at least try to save face. The 2009 BET Awards go down next week and the people behind the network are still adding performers to the final list. News recently broke that Keyshia Cole and Monica will performing their song, “Trust,” live on stage together at the annual event, which honors the biggest celebrities in black entertainment. The current list of performers include: Beyonce, Jay-Z, Maxwell, Kanye West, Ne-Yo, Mary Mary, Fabolous, Young Jeezy and Soulja Boy.
“Trust” has been doing pretty well on BET’s countdown show 106 & Park as it has been sitting pretty at the No. 1 spot for a while now so fans will definitely be looking forward to the duo performing the song at the BET Awards, which airs live next Sunday (Jun 28) from Los Angeles.
It looks like Keyshia Cole is definitely ready to let the world know about her new relationship with Cleveland Cavaliers guard Daniel “Boobie” Gibson. The two lovebirds were coupled up Tuesday night (June 2) at Dolce Nightclub in Elizabeth, NJ.
And Keyshia had no problems telling Sister 2 Sister recently what the deal was her new man:
Keyshia said that although there is an age difference between them (she’s 26 years old and Daniel is 23), he has a good head on his shoulders. And it doesn’t hurt that they want a lot of the same things out of life, too.
