R&B singer/songwriter Alicia Keys played host to her sixth annual Black Ball to benefit the “Keep A Child Alive” AIDS organization Thursday night (Oct 15) at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. The huge celebrity guest list at the event included Halle Berry, Usher, Samuel L. Jackson, Nick Cannon, Tyler Perry, Robin Thicke, Mary J. Blige and more. Alicia performed with John Mayer at the event, and also premiered her new song “Sleeping with a Broken Heart.”

Actress Halle Berry was spotted as she left a friend’s house in Los Angeles Thursday (Oct 1).

Halle says she wears about 5 perfumes at a time because she’s very determined to smell unique. So she mixes several different fragrance to achieve that personalized scent.

She said: “I’ve always wanted to have my own scent. When I was younger, I never wanted to smell like every other girl in class. Even as an adult, I’d mix different perfumes together. “Some days it would be great and people would say: ‘Oh, what fragrance is that?’ And I would say: ‘Well, it’s about five different ones!’”

And while we’re on the subject of hygiene and beauty maintenance, she also recently revealed that she doesn’t like to wear a ton of makeup. Why? Because she feels like it makes her look like a drag queen!

“Less is more,” she tells. “When I wear too much, I feel like a man in drag. I much prefer to be low maintenance.”

We guess it’s time to take Halle Berry off of baby bump watch. She put those rumors to rest when she showed off her toned physique (and flat stomach) in a form fitting outfit when she appeared on the Jay Leno Show last show.

Halle Berry is letting it be known that she is not pregnant, contrary to rumors that popped up recently about her and boyfriend Gabriel Aubry expecting their second little one. When she sat down and Jay told her how great she looked, she thanked him noting the recent pregnancy rumors and explaining to him how she was beginning to get a complex on how she looked.

The hot mama stepped out in a skin-tight little black dress on Jay Leno’s new NBC primetime show on Thursday – and there wasn’t a baby bump in sight. The 43-year-old gave birth to her daughter Nahla just last March, but a couple of less than flattering pix recently sparked rumors that the Academy Award-winner was preggers once again. “I was getting a complex!” she told Leno, blaming fast food for the temporary weight gain. “I was like, I’ve got to stop with the burgers, or something!” she said.

Well, whatever she did worked! Berry looked stunning in cinched frock with a plunging neckline that left little to the imagination, paired with knee-high black leather boots. “You look great!” said Leno, reassuring her that “You always look terrific.” Granted, she and her partner, model Gabriel Aubry, 34, have been vocal about someday expanding their family – just maybe not anytime soon. Berry purposely posed sideways for the cameras on Thursday to flaunt her fab – and flat-tummied – physique.

She’s also reportedly signing up for a new feature film, according to Variety, which reports the actress is set to star in the upcoming action-thriller “Dark Tide,” to begin shooting in South Africa later this year – a rather intense project for a mommy-to-be.

Looks like baby Nahla might be getting a little brother or sister to play with soon! According to the latest issue of Life & Style Magazine, actress Halle Berry is carrying her and boyfriend Gabriel Aubry’s second child! A source tells the publication that Halle, who is 3 months pregnant, conceived through artificial insemination.

“Halle is overjoyed. The first time, she struggled so much to get pregnant and eventually conceived through in vitro fertilization. This time, the baby was conceived through artificial insemination. She’s just ecstatic to be pregnant again. She wasn’t sure if she’d have another baby, so she’s very happy.”

Halle’s people have yet to respond to this new story, but we should be hearing from them any day now. As with any pregnancy story/rumor, this could go 3 ways: (1) Denial, (2) confirmation or (3) complete silence. You can probably tell by now we’re used to this ;-)

Actress Halle Berry and her male model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry hired a sitter Thursday night (Aug 6) to take care of the little one so that they could hit the town of Los Angeles for a date night.

And if you’re wondering why Gabriel will always be “boyfriend” and never “husband,” it’s because they both feel as though they don’t need to attach themselves to each other for life and don’t want to deal with the baggage that most marriages bring along. Sounds like the heart of a woman scorned…

“I’m so not the relationship go-to girl. But I’m much clearer about what a relationship is, which is why I will never marry again. Gabriel and I have a great partnership and a lovely daughter,” the Daily Telegraph quoted her as telling The Mail on Sunday newspaper. “But I once was stupid enough to say, in a previous relationship, ‘I’m going to be with this person for ever,’ and realised, as I grew, that I don’t know if for ever is possible. Gabriel and I don’t look at our relationship in terms of for ever, we look at it as right here today. And today means being the best people we can be, the best parents we can be. It’s wonderful, but neither one of us feels the need to attach ourselves to each other for life – because it may not be that,” she added.
