Pop singer Lady Gaga and producer/rapper Dr. Dre spoke to the press and posed for pictures at the “Heartbeats by Lady Gaga” headphones U.S. launch at the New York Palace Hotel Wednesday (Sep 30) in New York City. Interscope chairman Jimmy Lovine (pictured to the left of Dr. Dre) also attended the press release. Lady Gaga’s new headphone collection is the latest addition to the Dr. Dre’s “Beats by Dr. Dre” headphones, distributed by Monster Beats.

Both pop singer Lady Gaga and hip-hop legend Dr. Dre were on hand to make appearances Monday (Sep 7) in Berlin, Germany at the Monster Cable Party at the Tube Clube.
Lady Gaga and Dr. Dre are currently on a promotional tour overseas raising brand awareness for Dre’s “Beats by Dre” headphone line, which now includes Lady Gaga’s fashion-inspired “Heart Beats” collection. They will be available for purchase sometime in October.
Actress Kyla Pratt celebrated her 23rd birthday with a party Sunday night (Sep 6) in Hollywood. Ludacris and Jamie Foxx were spotted in the VIP area of Atlanta nightclub the Velvet Room Saturday night (Sep 5) after Jamie’s concert at Chastain Park Amphitheatre. And Dr. Dre and Lady Gaga attended the launch of “Heartbeats by Lady Gaga” headphones at an event in Berlin, Germany.

According to People.com, rapper/producer Dr. Dre’s son, Andre Young Jr, apparently died of an heroin & morphine overdose. The drug test results had been pending for four months and it has now been confirmed by the LA County Coroner’s office on Friday.
“This case has been closed, it’s been ruled an accident due to morphine and heroin intoxication,” coroner spokesman Larry Dietz told People.
On the morning of August 23, 2008, Andre, 20, was found unresponsive by his mother in their home located in Woodland Hills, CA. Paramedics pronounced Young dead at the scene. His mother Jenita Porter told investigators that her son had been out late that night with his friends and recalls hearing him snoring around 5:30 a.m.

All Hip Hop is reporting that Dr. Dre’s son, Andre Young Jr., was found dead in his home over the weekend:
Dr. Dre’s son has reportedly died, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner. The body of Andre Young Jr. was found in his Woodland Hills home on Saturday morning, says a report in the L.A Weekly. Andre Young Jr. was only 20.
Young went out on Friday night and came in about 5:30 A.M., but his mother found him unresponsive when she checked on him at 10 in the morning. She called 911 immediately.
The cause of death will be revealed after a toxicology report. Andre Young Sr., professionally known as Dr. Dre, has not released a statement on the death of his son.
Dr. Dre is currently working on his final album, Detox.

PHARRELL WILLIAMS AND LOUIS VUITTON LAUNCH FASHION JEWELRY LINE
Singer & producer Pharrell Williams and designer Camille Miceli will unveil a new fine jewelry collection named Blason. The collaboration between the two will be launched with fashion house Louis Vuitton. Williams first teamed up with the prestigious fashion line in 2004, when the he and A Bathing Ape (known worldwide for their BAPES sneakers) creator Nigo created the “Millionaire” line of sunglasses for the company. The Blason jewelry line, which features four separate themes, features yellow and white gold in diamonds.
The average price tag for the pieces will be anywhere from $2,000 to over $600,000. Williams and Miceli will debut the expensive line to the public on January 21st, followed by a private party at a Mansion in Paris. While details have yet-to-be announced, the Blason jewelry line will be available in Louis Vuitton stores across the world starting this spring. If you’re going to miss the $2,000 after it’s gone, then I suggest you not take part in the purchase of this highly expensive line of jewelry! I don’t want anyone to get put out on the streets because they decided to use the money for their mortgage and utility bills to buy some jewelry from Pharrell.
